John 5:7-8 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Get up, pick up your pallet and walk.” We have recorded here the sick man’s reply to Jesus’ question, “Do you wish to get well?” His answer? He wanted to be healed, but someone else always beat him to the pool because of his disability.
