- 1:22The original Airnate August the thirteenth of nineteen fifty and the title Dossier on a
- 1:29Damsel in Distress. The Adventures out of the Saint starring Vincent Price. Let's
- 2:05say, based on characters created by Leslie chatterers and knowns, and millions from
- 2:08books, magazines, and motion pictures. The loblinhood of modern crime. Al
- 2:13come stranscribe the radio starring Hollywood Billions and tell us the doctor Vincent Price as
- 2:20let's think were I didn't see. It's perfectly all right, mcsans. Oh,
- 2:43please don't go, please, And now it's a scene of the crime.
- 2:46They'll take care of things. I can see you're in a hurry.
- 2:49Yes, I am all right, driver, step on it, yes,
- 2:52sir, comfortable Musans, I don't know you do. I an oversight on
- 3:00my part that can be easily remedied. I'm Simon Templar, Simon Templary.
- 3:05Oh you're the saint, aren't you. Sometimes I feel as though I had
- 3:08a neon sign on my forehead. I'll confess the fatal appellation. Well,
- 3:13I think i'd better get out, mister Temple. You see age is not
- 3:15synonymous with boogeyman, Miss Ames, and why not call me Simon? After
- 3:20all we were both present at the unveiling of the course. You think you're
- 3:23being funny, mister Templar. There's nothing funny about murder, particularly when as
- 3:28pretty a girl as you is involved. But I'm not involved. A question
- 3:31of semantics, Missames. A man gets killed when you're within five feet of
- 3:36him, and you turntail and run. If a's not being involved, my
- 3:39dictionary lied to me. Why I suppose you're right? It was foolish of
- 3:44me to run when I heard those shops and saw him faller. How did
- 3:49you know who I was? Such modesty is becoming but hardly intelligent, Miss
- 3:53Ames. You're a star, your show is opening in a week and your
- 3:55pictures have been plastered all over town. Of course I should have known.
- 4:00Did you know the man who was shot him? Yes? If I had
- 4:03an appointment with him. His name was Jim Barry or the publisher. Yes,
- 4:08I know him, or rather than you him. He's been kind enough
- 4:11to publish some scribblings of mine. But what were you going to see him
- 4:14about? Anything special? No, just a business talk, business talk with
- 4:17a publisher. Don't tell me that Barry kilgo a company is going to publish
- 4:21the story of your life. No, but jim' sperm was preparing an anthology
- 4:26to modern theater and he wanted to include the new play I'm going to be
- 4:29him. He's come to the floor. I picked down what happened, but
- 4:35he doesn't like us. Beddy. The driver of that card threw some hot
- 4:40lid our way. I don't know. I only saw the glint of a
- 4:43gun out of the corner of my eye. A driver. Are you a
- 4:46Simon as he did? Wait? See? How do you like that?
- 4:56We get shot at and he faints? I don't claim him, don't don't.
- 5:01You must be due at the theater for rehearsal about now, and the
- 5:04show must go on. For the life of me, I've never been able
- 5:08to understand why. Hey Joe, what I say? Okay, Larry,
- 5:28here's my dressing room, sim huh, you go in and wait for me.
- 5:30I have you watched the rehearsal and the wings that Larry Stephen's, our
- 5:33stage manager, is superstitious about this. Okay, Betty, but you're a
- 5:36thank if I had watch dog will be panting on your thresholder you get that
- 5:42after what's happening, Tom, and I'll be glad to know your close by.
- 5:46Oh well, might as well waiting time? Really there, I don't
- 5:50know what you mean. I think you do, Helen. Just remember what
- 5:55I told you about Jim Darry and you'll be Simon Templar, What in the
- 6:00world are you doing? Well? Now, that's what I call a quick
- 6:02switch vera pangburn Lady novelist gets stage struck. Or are you merely getting material
- 6:08for a novel about backstage? Oh? No, no, better novels for
- 6:12me, Simon. Oh, let me introduce Helen Trask. Helen. This
- 6:15is Simon Templar. How do you do, mister Templar? As well as
- 6:18might be expected under the circumstances, Miss Traska not too accustomed to entering one
- 6:24lovely ladies dressing room and finding two others awaiting men. Well. As a
- 6:28matter of fact, Helen and I were waiting for Jim Barry. We thought
- 6:30he was coming here with Betty. Jim Barry. Oh, he's your publisher,
- 6:33isn't he there? Yes? And Helen's too. Helen's is really latest
- 6:38discovery. She has a new novel coming out. Well, I'm afraid you're
- 6:43going to be disappointed, Ladies, Barry's been unexpectedly detained. Oh oh,
- 6:47and I was so anxious to see you. Why not let me substitute.
- 6:50I'm very good at pila tricks and small talk and your name Templar. Yes,
- 6:55it has been for a number of years. I can remember, way
- 6:57back when my pilot the idea of keeping the Thames away from rehearsal. Did
- 7:00I who are you? Oh? Steven's the stage manager, that's right,
- 7:03And I'm also the guy who doesn't like stage door. John. If there's
- 7:05something about the way you said that that hurts me deeply? At gee,
- 7:11what's that thing in the cuff of your trousers? Step in the cup of
- 7:15my trousers? Yeah? Right here? Now look here, Temper. I
- 7:17don't know what this is all about, but you don't, but you should
- 7:19know a revolver cartridge when you see one revolver cartridge? Is that what this
- 7:25is? It is? Where's bedy aim? Why in rehearsal I had them
- 7:29start and I presume there's a shooting scene in this play. Yes, for
- 7:32at the end of the first act. But I like me even less after
- 7:34this. But I'm stopping that rehearsal. You can't do that, tap,
- 7:38I don't you have a dead star on your hands? Many aims? Are
- 7:41you crazy? I hope so? I hear them? Waiter cluster, stage
- 7:44age, what are your left? I hope you know what you're doing.
- 7:46I'm afraid I do shooting scene now topic don't apparently nothing that I'm a little
- 7:56amazed at finding you? All right, Why shouldn't I be fun? Now
- 7:58there you have me? Why why everybody pepla? I've had enough of this
- 8:01nonsense. You've held up the rehearsal by keeping Biddy away, and now you've
- 8:03broken up the end of the first act. You know you get out of
- 8:07this theater. I'll have you thought. I know, Stevens, I must
- 8:09be super sensitive. Why else would I get the idea that you don't like
- 8:11me? No, don't answer. It's something I want to do. First.
- 8:15Where's the gun? You're a leading man? Fired? Just now?
- 8:18That's over there on the floor. Just a pop gun with blank cartridge brank
- 8:22cartridges. So that's it. I've always wondered how people shot and plays had
- 8:26so many lies? Do you mind if I take a look. What's all
- 8:28the commotion about? Hold on, it's jillgir. We've been having a little
- 8:31trouble with a fellow named Templar, but everything's under control. Well, i'd
- 8:33better be. I've got quite an investment in the show, and the way
- 8:35it looks now, it'll pop before they get to this. There's nothing for
- 8:39you to get excited about mister kilgoar. I assure you that that's all in
- 8:41the way one looks at it, Stephens, And I suggest that you look
- 8:46at this gun. I see a temper, So what so this break it
- 8:50open? So those aren't blank cottages, they're real, real But that's impossible.
- 8:56Perhaps you'd better take a second look. Why would anyone in this theater
- 9:00two real poets for the blank? Now that is a puzzling question, Stephens.
- 9:03Of course, it couldn't possibly be that someone was interested in killing Betty
- 9:07Ames, now could I still don't understand how you new Son. Well,
- 9:20theatrical people may dress somewhat unconventionally, but I thought that Steven's with revolver cartridges
- 9:26in his trouser customers coming a pit overboard. Fortunately, your leading man is
- 9:31a sensitive so he jumped at least a foot when I shodowed at him.
- 9:35His father, Oh, if you haven't startled, yeah, then I doubt
- 9:37that we'd be sitting here in your dressing room. Why should anyone want to
- 9:41kill me? The usual motives money, jealousy, and fear of discovery.
- 9:48I'm not rich and there's no reason for anyone being jealous of me, and
- 9:50I don't know what's saying about anyone. Are you certain of that, Betty?
- 9:54Of course I am. You were pretty much in evidence when Jim Barley
- 9:58was killed. A dozen other people, But perhaps they didn't see what you
- 10:01saw. I didn't see anything at the killing. Perhaps, But what about
- 10:05well, a familiar face in the crowd, for example, familiar face?
- 10:09No? Oh, wait a minute, years, Yes, I did see
- 10:13someone, ye eyes, how that you saw the killer? Who is it?
- 10:16That's just it? I don't know. Let me remind you that a
- 10:18familiar face belongs to someone you know or has seen before. I know that's
- 10:22son. But I just caught a flash of a face and I was thinking
- 10:24it looked familiar and was starting to identify my mind, and then the shots
- 10:28were fighting, Jim Barry was killed, and then it was gone. MM.
- 10:31I don't suppose you got a similar flash among the people in the theater
- 10:35tonight. No, might have been any one of them or none of them.
- 10:39Hardly what i'd call an elusidating statement. I put this together. Barry
- 10:45was the publisher for Vera Pangmen and Helen Trask, and both of them were
- 10:48in the theater kill Gore, who put up the money for the show.
- 10:52Is Barry's partner in the publishing business, and he was in the theater.
- 10:56Stephen's the stage manager had that Cottridge and his cuss. Yes he did,
- 11:00didn't he? So where does that get a son? Exactly nowhere? Well,
- 11:05as my old grandmother used to say, if at first you don't succeed,
- 11:07try checking up the corpse. Come on, belly, let's go to
- 11:13the Morgue. The place gives me the creek sun. Strangely enough, the
- 11:31Morgue never was noted for being the most cheerful place in the work. Do
- 11:33you think your skin's work? How optimistic can one man be? But it's
- 11:37quite a try looking for someone, mister templar are they're duncans our things ings?
- 11:43They're pretty dead around here? The same jolly old soul lunch. Oh
- 11:50I get the cakes, mister Temple, I'll peachie for you. See,
- 11:52have jolly enough to do me a favor? Maybe? Yeah? Did you
- 11:56get an advanced case of rigor mortis in here? Sometime this evening fell about
- 12:00the name of Barry. Barry, you sure did gun killing a neat job
- 12:05too. You want to see him a long doubted? The lady Duncan but
- 12:07you know, I have a theory that every murdered man dies with exactly eleven
- 12:13dollars and sixty three cents in his pocket. Yes, but how can that
- 12:18be, mister Templar, Let's look at his personal effectancy ay duncan personal sake?
- 12:22Well, it's a sure order, no shirt. Can't you know the
- 12:24rules? Oh of course, I'm sorry I mentioned it. Miss Ames was
- 12:30anxious to see if those opening night tickets to her new show, the ones
- 12:35in your name, that is, could possibly have been lost around here some
- 12:37for her. Oh eleven dollars sixty three cents. You say, well,
- 12:43that's an interesting theory, mister Templar, And we can't block the prophecy of
- 12:48science, can with no? Indeed? There you are. Take a look
- 13:00what jewry a couple of keyrings. There's a couple of hundred bucks in the
- 13:03wallet. Matthew's a theoryal to Dunkin, don'ted? Is that all it was
- 13:07on him? I see for yourself. I told you that, say hey,
- 13:11look out, yeah, okay, my gosh, you thank you.
- 13:16I don't know what happened suddenly everything turned black? All right, Betty,
- 13:20don't talk. I'll get you outside. Even though those who like Duncan gets
- 13:24crazy in here sometimes No I don't either. You're sure you're okay? Yeah,
- 13:28thank you. I'm all right now, Thanks very much, mister Duncan.
- 13:31Who you're welcome? And uh them opening night tickets in my name?
- 13:37You lost? Oh you'll find them at the box office in your name,
- 13:41mister Duncan. Well, I'm glad you folks dropped in the first part of
- 13:58your scheme seemed to work right, Simon. Well, I did get hold
- 14:01of Barry's keys, and thanks to the fainting acts you stayed then, very
- 14:05rigidous that it was, but there was little else of interest there. Then
- 14:09what goes on now? And I might suggest that we hauled right here in
- 14:13front of the office of Barry Kilgore and Company Publishers. He got a key
- 14:18and look as though it fits the lock, and walk right in there.
- 14:24You see what skilled presidence and some petty larceny can accomplish at Western Barry's office.
- 14:31You know, Oh, yes, right over there, s kill Gore
- 14:33is the one next to it. There's the light switch on the wall.
- 14:35You'll never make an understudy to a sneak beef by talking about light study.
- 14:39My flashlights enough, but I still don't understand. What do you expect to
- 14:43find up here? Simon? Never do I, but I'm looking for motives,
- 14:46and what better place to find motives than in the dead man's private files.
- 14:52M let's start with this stuff on the desk. Those are only galley
- 14:56poots of a book, Simon, it would appear. What a fascinating title,
- 15:01My Heart's Won Romance by Helen Trapp. Oh, no talk about calls,
- 15:07no motive for murder there? I wonder what do you mean? This
- 15:11into the office memo clip to it? So Pete Segg Jim stopped publishing this
- 15:18kind of type before it ruins its initial k K for kill Gore? What
- 15:24do you make of that? Son? I think kill Gore didn't like the
- 15:26book. But if it's a thought as all that, why was Jim Barry
- 15:28publishing? Maybe you'd better take another look at Helen fast. Oh you mean
- 15:33you think that Helen and Jim Barry were trying to keep it open and clean?
- 15:37Mind about these things? Maybe, but we do know kill do I
- 15:41didn't like it, and kill Dore dans to get plenty. Now that Barry's
- 15:43Dan, he becomes sole owner of the business. Simon, Helen, someone's
- 15:50coming to the outer office. What if it's the police Jim Barry's murderer.
- 15:54The suggestions are very inconsiderate of you. What's he doing now, Simon,
- 16:00See there are two people in the office. Are they coming in here?
- 16:03M No, No, they've gone into killed boy's office. Oh they didn't
- 16:07turn on the lights, so they must be familiar with the place. Remind
- 16:12me to complain to the owners of this building. They've neede these walls so
- 16:15sound those I can't even recognize the voices, let alone here. Yeah,
- 16:22yeah, we could hear those, all right, couldn't we. I'll be
- 16:23right back. Oh, oh, whoever it was got away? Then tell
- 16:36you all right, I'll get a dog, so I better make it a
- 16:37contenter instead, Daddy content. Yeah, the shots missed, but I certainly
- 16:41smashed up that Deskcot ran into find the lights and see how much damage was
- 16:47done? That does it now? Sun? Damage was quite extensive to mister
- 16:55Kildore, A chief suspect has been crossed off the list. Buy a bullet
- 17:00between his eyes. Well, at least you got me home safe and sound.
- 17:17Something. After what's going on today, I'm beginning to wonder how that
- 17:19happened? That's everything loved to be in place. Yes, of course that
- 17:27is a funny thing that every since my college prom days, I've had an
- 17:30abiding dislike for chaperones popping up unexpectedly. I had to better look around to
- 17:37let these modern inventions fighten you Betty, to celephone is quite answer. Answer.
- 17:45Huh, yes, bah, I want you to do a favor,
- 17:52Betty. I think I know something about Jim. There is death just a
- 17:56minute burreah some spirre pengboin. She says she thinks she knows something about the
- 18:00Barry killing. Well, don't you think he's a bad thing? To split
- 18:03the receiver with me and let me listen to him? Bia, what do
- 18:07you mean? I don't know just how to explain it, Betty? What
- 18:12is it? Are you still there? Simmons? What happened there? This
- 18:22may come as a tremendous surprise, Betty, but it sounds like vera pangburn
- 18:26just became murder victim number three. A lot of time, myst year is
- 18:45brawn instead of brain unaffected. It's not meat. Come on, let's go
- 18:52in Simon be she is yeah, the floor is she She's lucky? Then
- 19:00Barry or kill go it shot in the upper part of the aisle. You
- 19:03better get some towns. I'll be right. What happened, man, I'm
- 19:14a fire escape shot at. I'd be indignant about it too, Vera.
- 19:17But suppose we talk about it. Let it wait up, I'll lift her
- 19:23there now, if you'll make like Florence night and get him. Betty,
- 19:26I'd like to look at the fire escape. Poor darling. Time for talk
- 19:34later. Let's get you fixed up first. He just relaxed. Here,
- 19:37we're here, and everything's gonna be all right. The view from your fire
- 19:41escape is very disappointing, Vera, only shattered glass out there. Did this
- 19:47homicidal friend of your shoot through the window? Yes, I was talking on
- 19:49the phone to Betty. I looked up and saw him. He had a
- 19:52handkerchief over his safe. He shot twenty you are, and that'll hold him
- 19:57til we get him dog. By the way, Vera, Not that I'm
- 20:00curious or anything, but what was it you were going to tell Betty over
- 20:03the phone about Jim Barry's murder? I can't tell you. Simon. Well,
- 20:07I'll admit I'm not as pretty as Betty or no, no, I
- 20:11won't say anything. He's already shot at me once. I won't say anything.
- 20:14Don't kill this you want to do? You don't have to tell us
- 20:18anything timee. We better call a doctor. She's no condition to be bothered
- 20:22now right now, neither am. I suppose you take care of the medical
- 20:25details and they meet me at Helen's task repart, Helena, is that where
- 20:29you're going now? Now? I'm going to marry Stephens sraight? And if
- 20:30that sounds confusing to you, it's no wonder. I'm a little confused myself.
- 20:45Yes, hello, Stephen, you mind if I step in time Tepler?
- 20:49What blazers are you doing here? I guess you do? Mind?
- 20:52Well? I have an invitation for you, Stephens, to come calling on
- 20:56helen Task with me, Helen Tran. Why should I go to I thought
- 21:00it would be sweet if we all chewed over a few explanations together. You'll
- 21:03get no explanations for me and I'll get out templar. Okay, Stephens,
- 21:07But if you don't mind, I would like to leave you something first.
- 21:11Yes, what's that? You know? Something? Stephens? I think you're
- 21:15coming with me, whether you want it or not. All right, now
- 21:29that Betty is here, we have a quorum. I don't understand, mister
- 21:33Templar, why are you all here at my apartment? There's no sense asking
- 21:36him, Helen, he's completely crazy. Stephens. I think you're prejudice because
- 21:38your jaw still aches a little at Miss Trask. When I entered Betty's dressing
- 21:44room tonight, Very was saying something to you about Jim Barry. What was
- 21:48it? Why? She was merely warning me against him. Said he had
- 21:51a weakness for young women writers. In your case, that's understandable. Would
- 21:56you say his weakness could account for a rather poor manuscript accepted? If you're
- 22:00insinuating anything, mister Temple or Helen, of course not. You didn't listen
- 22:04to Vera Dige naturally not. Mister Barry always acted like a perfect gentleman.
- 22:10What are you driving at anyway, Temper, I say I'm a perfectionist,
- 22:11Stevens. I don't like ragged details hanging over and that snatch of conversation intrigued
- 22:17me. Something else intrigues me too, that cartridge in the Trouser Cough episode.
- 22:22You really are determined to play Sherlock Holmes, aren't you? Well?
- 22:26If it'll leave your mind any on my way to Betty's dressing room. I
- 22:29bumped into a pop table, A box of what I thought were blank cartridges
- 22:32filled against me and out of the floor. And do you think that there
- 22:34might have been some loaded cartridges among the blanks, and that one of them
- 22:37lodged in your car? That's it, exactly a very simple explanation. It's
- 22:41almost too simple. Did you try to check this theory of yours? Well?
- 22:45I try to, but when I get back to the table, the
- 22:48box was gone, which of course makes it even simpler. Do you mind
- 22:51if I use your phone? Helen hump Why no, no, not at
- 22:53all. As you call the police, Simon, No, uh vera pang,
- 23:00that's hungry, m that's right. Hello, Oh oh yes, doctor
- 23:04a house Miss tengmine. Oh that's fine. Give her a message, will
- 23:07you please tell her? Simon? Templar called and she needn't worry about that
- 23:11killer any longer. That's right. Betty Aims has remembered who it was,
- 23:17She saw it the scene of the murder, and that's all the evidence we
- 23:19need. Simon, what is this all about? Beautiful here in the park,
- 23:36isn't it. You know very well that I haven't remembered the face I
- 23:37saw when Jim was killed, A brilliant moon soft starlight, A perfect night
- 23:42for romance, and she talks about killing. Oh please, Simon, please?
- 23:48What are we doing out here? Anyway to take a cue from you?
- 23:51Just killing time? And I think we've killed enough. Let's get going,
- 23:53Simon, for the last time. Would you give me a direct answer?
- 23:57Where are we going? Or didn't I tell you why? I'm merely
- 24:00taking you home. Here's my daughter, Simon. I can find my way
- 24:18in alone. Don't you think the least I can do is to search the
- 24:19apartment for you? Again? That won't be necessary. Thank you, good
- 24:26night. We'll at least allow me to turn the light sis for you.
- 24:30Very satisfying. I can see for yourself. Yes, I can see quite
- 24:34well. Hello Vera, quickly. I never argue with the lady Vera to
- 24:38give me when she's got a gun in her hand. That's I thought that
- 24:44phone call of yours might have been attract Simon, but I had to make
- 24:45sure. Now that you apparently have made sure, Vera, you and Betty
- 24:49are going to join the other. Simon, tell me why you killed Jim
- 24:53Barry Vera? Was he your husband? Pretty smart? Aunt? You?
- 24:57Simon? That's right. Jim was my husband. I thought so. Jealousy
- 25:03was the only motive I could figure for you. Every young woman who came
- 25:06along and thought she could write turned his head that Helen's task. A high
- 25:10school girl could write a better book than she did. But Jim Barry was
- 25:12going to divorce you and marry her, wasn't he? Yes? And now
- 25:17Jim's dead and kill God is dead because he suspected me. And you're going
- 25:22to die too, right now? No, you don't give me are oh
- 25:33sir? Oh Sione? Who's so scared? You know something that hey sows?
- 25:37I. I still don't understand, Simon. That business of their is
- 25:52being shot? Now? How did you know that she'd say that? You
- 25:55know, Betty, that's one thing I always dislike about solving a murder.
- 25:59I have to explain things. And if you won't let well enough alone,
- 26:03no, Simon, I won't. All right, there was the glass and
- 26:06the fire skip. Uh. Now shall we get back to that moon,
- 26:11Simon? What about the glass? Oh, it came from the shattered window,
- 26:15and there was no glass within the room. Therefore the shot was fired
- 26:18from within, scattering the glass outward. And who was inside the apartment at
- 26:22the time. Deer m we have achieved a meeting of the mind. Now
- 26:26if we can carry that a bit further, They while discussing those lovely shimmering
- 26:30stuff. But I heard two shots fired over the phone. Did she use
- 26:33the second one to give herself that flesh wound? If you were afraid someone
- 26:37was closing in, you'd make a life desperate attempt to throw suspicion elsewhere,
- 26:41wouldn't you. And she was the one who put the real bullets in the
- 26:42gun on the season and fired at me in the cab. But Simon,
- 26:48why me? I hate to get repetitious, but remember those motives from murder?
- 26:52I listed money, jealousy, and fear discovery. Yeah, let's latch
- 26:56onto the last one. She was afraid You'd remember that it was her familiar
- 26:59face you saw in the just before Jim Valley was killed. Satisfied now,
- 27:03well almost, There's just one more little thing, look very if it doesn't
- 27:11concern the moon, I'm not interested, all right, Simon, get interested.

- 29:04NBC Symphonies Summer Concerts with guests got It, Helen Troubles and Vladimir Gohsen.
- 29:10And congratulations the station WWJA Detroit on this the thirtieth anniversary of broadcasting. This
- 29:15is NBC, the National Broadcasting Company. Welcome back. Well, this was
- 29:23definitely a more action packed episodes. I don't think any episode of The Saint
- 29:30has begun in such an exciting fashion as this one. There. I also
- 29:33have to say that Vincent Price is fantastic in this. And one thing that's
- 29:40a little bit different about The Saints is that while some characters will work alone
- 29:47almost exclusively, with maybe a sidekick every now and again, some will almost
- 29:52always have a sidekick with them. The Saint is a series where the Saint
- 29:56almost always works with someone, but he has a a wide variety of different
- 30:00sidekicks, and this is something you'd also see in the Saint movies as well
- 30:07as the television show with Roger Moore, although in the television show he often
- 30:11ended up working alone. The one thing that I think the radio show lacks
- 30:18is sort of that globe trotting aspect, because most of these feel like they
- 30:23occur just in the Saints' home city. At least the NBC versions also nice
- 30:30to see a little bit more of variation on Arthur Q Bryan's voice. Arthur
- 30:34q Brian, of course, is most famous for doing the voice of Elmer
- 30:40Futt, the first character he played back in the Problem of the Peculiar Payoff,
- 30:45really had a lot of elements, so it was more obvious that it
- 30:49was the same actor who's as played Elmer Futt. Here he's playing the stage
- 30:55man manager, and it's not really all that obvious. You really have to
- 30:59listen for it. And it was actually radio that gave him the opportunity to
- 31:03mix up his repertoire with a lot of different voices. Even to most people,
- 31:08though, he'll be the first voice of Elmer Fud forever. All right,
- 31:11Well, that will do it for today. We'll be back tomorrow with
- 31:15Crime and Peter Chambers, and be back with us again next Monday, as
- 31:21we bring you the Saint in the meantime. Sendor comments to Box thirteen at
