- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 4: Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 3: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:10Speaker 2: It's Kiss. Dominic Fike. I like it. Good morning, everybody.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Here we go. I was told to fire you up
- 0:17Speaker 2: this morning and get you ready for a very challenging
- 0:21Speaker 2: day with the heat.
- 0:23Speaker 5: Oh.
- 0:23Speaker 2: The heat can irritate, right? It just can be frustrating.
- 0:26Speaker 2: As you're getting ready this morning, I just want to
- 0:28Speaker 2: tell you, 107. In some places in Southern California.
- 0:32Speaker 3: That's not right.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Not okay.
- 0:34Speaker 2: You know what it's going to do? I put it
- 0:37Speaker 2: on one pit at a time every morning. It's going
- 0:41Speaker 2: to test the power of our deodorant today. Today we'll
- 0:45Speaker 2: test the power of your antiperspirant or your deodorant. That's
- 0:49Speaker 2: the kind of heat we're dealing with. I don't know
- 0:52Speaker 2: if you get the sweat underneath there, but in a
- 0:54Speaker 2: day like today, I will.
- 0:55Speaker 6: I thought we were going to get a tank today.
- 0:58Speaker 6: I sent you the text last night to remind you.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Oh, you know what? Tanya did send me a text
- 1:01Speaker 2: last night.
- 1:02Speaker 6: I didn't even get a thumbs up. I got a
- 1:03Speaker 6: reaction from Sisney, which I appreciated. Thank you so much
- 1:05Speaker 6: for the acknowledgement.
- 1:06Speaker 4: I managed to laugh.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Will you remind me what I was supposed to do
- 1:09Speaker 2: and why?
- 1:11Speaker 7: I don't remember how we got there.
- 1:12Speaker 6: All I remember is we were talking about the tank
- 1:15Speaker 6: top that you wore over the weekend.
- 1:16Speaker 7: We thought it was so cute. And you were like,
- 1:18Speaker 7: remind me. I'll wear it tomorrow. And so I said, okay,
- 1:21Speaker 7: permission to text. And everybody said, granted. Oh, okay.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I happened to pick that text up this morning. And
- 1:30Speaker 2: so I thought, you know what? It will be like
- 1:32Speaker 2: rude and not team player-ish to... Ignore. Yeah, to ignore
- 1:37Speaker 2: and not pull this off and put this on. So fortunately,
- 1:40Speaker 2: it was clean. I grabbed it out of my drawer.
- 1:42Speaker 2: It's cute.
- 1:45Speaker 7: I appreciate it because it's underneath. And then you threw
- 1:48Speaker 7: a little like denim... Shack it on top.
- 1:52Speaker 2: It's the Matt Damon look at Disneyland. This is what
- 1:55Speaker 2: Matt Damon was wearing in Disneyland when the video went viral.
- 1:58Speaker 2: And I kind of liked it.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Wow.
- 2:00Speaker 7: I feel so seen that you wore that.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yeah. I went back. I was on the way out
- 2:05Speaker 2: the door and I went back and I was like,
- 2:07Speaker 2: Tanya's really going to be like, not hurt, but take
- 2:10Speaker 2: it personally.
- 2:11Speaker 3: I mean, she brought it up within the first minute.
- 2:13Speaker 8: There it is.
- 2:14Speaker 2: So there it is. You're welcome.
- 2:16Speaker 7: Now we're going to have.
- 2:17Speaker 2: A good day. Let's go. This is my formal tank top.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I was going to say, it's very nice.
- 2:24Speaker 2: You can wear this out.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 7: Like to dinner, get a little drinky.
- 2:29Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I don't waste this.
- 2:30Speaker 1: No.
- 2:31Speaker 4: In my home.
- 2:32Speaker 7: Here with us.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Well, I did today, but I'm not going to dirty
- 2:35Speaker 2: it up. This will go clean. This won't get dirty today.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I'll refold this and put it back in my.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Drawer for circulation.
- 2:41Speaker 3: That's nice that you do that.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Just in time for the weekend. But seriously, these are practical.
- 2:47Speaker 2: It's that hot.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I don't need sleeves. And it really makes a difference.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I don't know, dudes, if you don't wear sleeveless shirts,
- 2:52Speaker 2: I understand why. But try it. It kind of feels great.
- 2:56Speaker 2: And for those of you who do, I get you.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I see you.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I am you.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I want to hang out with you. I love it.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Well.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Here we are.
- 3:05Speaker 7: A new day has come.
- 3:07Speaker 2: A new day.
- 3:08Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 2: We'll leave the denim over for the moment. No. Tanya,
- 3:13Speaker 2: you can't get it all at once. Baby Bash, Frankie
- 3:19Speaker 2: J on LA's 102.7 KISS FM. I had a dream
- 3:22Speaker 2: last night. Very vivid dream. Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, and
- 3:26Speaker 2: Michael Gelman were all my dream last night for my
- 3:28Speaker 2: other job. Remember my job back in the day?
- 3:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I do remember that.
- 3:31Speaker 3: New York.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Live with Kelly and Ryan. It was like I was
- 3:35Speaker 2: filling in for Mark. I don't know where he was.
- 3:38Speaker 2: He was shooting that TV series.
- 3:40Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Up in Canada.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Canada.
- 3:43Speaker 2: What was it?
- 3:43Speaker 7: What was it?
- 3:44Speaker 3: Oh, it was Riverdale.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I was in something.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I think he got called back to Riverdale or something.
- 3:48Speaker 2: And there I stepped in. This was so much fun.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Great to see you guys. And Galman. Anyway, I had
- 3:53Speaker 2: a vivid dream and I woke up with a smile
- 3:56Speaker 2: on my face. I was very happy. Do you ever
- 3:58Speaker 2: celebrate how well you sleep? I slept so well.
- 4:02Speaker 11: If the dream is good, but if the dream is stressful,
- 4:05Speaker 11: then that's a stressful night.
- 4:06Speaker 7: How did it make you feel is the real question.
- 4:08Speaker 2: You're missing my point. It wasn't about the dream. I
- 4:10Speaker 2: had several thoughts last night, but I woke up fully rested.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I didn't sleep that many hours. Maybe I went down
- 4:16Speaker 2: at 1030, woke up at 430, but it was good sleep.
- 4:19Speaker 2: So I kind of smiled and I said, yeah. It's good.
- 4:23Speaker 3: You're lucky. I woke up to a big thump on
- 4:25Speaker 3: my back.
- 4:26Speaker 11: Michael, I went like this and literally just like punched
- 4:30Speaker 11: me in my back in his sleep.
- 4:31Speaker 3: And so I woke both of us up and he
- 4:33Speaker 3: was like, I'm so sorry.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I'm so sorry. This is why I don't sleep with men.
- 4:39Speaker 11: Honestly, in all these years, something like that has never
- 4:43Speaker 11: happened in the 17 years that we've been together.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Like, it's never happened.
- 4:46Speaker 2: He needs to back off and scoot over. You think
- 4:49Speaker 2: you had it bad. Ruby was telling me. What'd you
- 4:50Speaker 2: have last night? Sleep paralysis?
- 4:52Speaker 12: I had my first experience with sleep paralysis. This has
- 4:56Speaker 12: never happened to me before. And then I was freaking
- 4:59Speaker 12: out when I woke up because it feels like such
- 5:01Speaker 12: an out-of-body experience.
- 5:02Speaker 2: You can't pull yourself out, right?
- 5:04Speaker 9: No.
- 5:04Speaker 2: You're struggling to physically. You know you're stuck.
- 5:07Speaker 9: Yes.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Exactly. That's what it is. You're stuck. I have this.
- 5:10Speaker 3: That's weird.
- 5:12Speaker 2: It's like you're in a vacuum trying to pull yourself out.
- 5:15Speaker 2: That's a nightmare.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 12: I was literally, I could remember trying to tell myself
- 5:20Speaker 12: in this moment, like, use your hands to pry your
- 5:24Speaker 12: eyes open.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Yes, and you can't.
- 5:26Speaker 3: And you can't.
- 5:27Speaker 12: It's the most helpless feeling ever.
- 5:29Speaker 2: And then when you eventually get out, you're like, you're
- 5:32Speaker 2: out of breath and you're so relieved. But why does
- 5:35Speaker 2: it happen?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Aliens.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Enjoyment at work. Having a pleasurable job. Yeah, zero out
- 5:46Speaker 2: of ten recommend. It was not good. But you know
- 5:48Speaker 2: you're doing it. That's the thing. You know you're having it.
- 5:50Speaker 2: You know you're doing it. And you actually say to yourself,
- 5:51Speaker 2: oh my gosh, I'm happy. stuck. I cannot get out.
- 5:55Speaker 2: And you're, you're, you're telling your brain, okay, pull harder,
- 5:58Speaker 2: pull harder. You miss, pull harder. You miss. Then all
- 6:00Speaker 2: of a sudden you, you squeeze yourself out of this
- 6:03Speaker 2: vacuum and it's like, oh my, I've saved my life. Yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 2: It's very freaky. No, while you were doing that, I
- 6:09Speaker 2: was celebrating this morning. Good night's sleep.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Very happy. Wow.
- 6:15Speaker 2: And you'll, you'll have to deal with it. I have
- 6:16Speaker 2: more energy than you're used to.
- 6:18Speaker 4: I'm here for it.
- 6:18Speaker 7: Bring it on, baby.
- 6:20Speaker 3: I already had my coffee.
- 6:21Speaker 4: We're good.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Let's go. It's one of 2.7. Guess I'm in Los Angeles.
- 6:26Speaker 2: This morning, we have a Ryan's Roses. We're working towards
- 6:28Speaker 2: that at 740. Infidelity. You know, I was thinking about this.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Okay.
- 6:35Speaker 2: If someone in IRL comes to me and says, you know,
- 6:40Speaker 2: my husband, my wife, whatever, I think they're cheating. I
- 6:45Speaker 2: don't think I'd recommend leave right away. I think just
- 6:48Speaker 2: let them talk. You don't want to you don't want
- 6:50Speaker 2: to push too hard in any direction because it's so
- 6:53Speaker 2: fresh and so new. But what we do on Ryan's
- 6:55Speaker 2: Roses is we push hard immediately on a real direction.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I'm not so sure we're right by that.
- 7:00Speaker 7: Well, no, it's not that we're not the first thing
- 7:03Speaker 7: that they're coming to. Like they are desperate.
- 7:05Speaker 3: They have right. This is the last resort.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:07Speaker 2: But you understand what I'm saying. Are we doing them
- 7:12Speaker 2: a service by pushing hard in a direction? Because we're
- 7:15Speaker 2: pretty cut and dried when we have our view.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Well, what do they want us to be? Wishy-washy?
- 7:21Speaker 2: I don't know. But if you don't want us to
- 7:23Speaker 2: do that, tell me at the top. Because I'll just
- 7:26Speaker 2: listen as well.
- 7:28Speaker 3: What's the point of that?
- 7:30Speaker 2: That's what people do. Good people listen.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I feel like we need to give our opinion. That's
- 7:34Speaker 3: why they came to us.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Maybe.
- 7:36Speaker 2: As a last resort. So that's coming up at 7.40.
- 7:40Speaker 4: All right.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Slang vocabulary. I have learned so much. I'm throwing stuff around.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I'm LARPing here and there.
- 7:45Speaker 9: Right.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I'm cooking. I'm eating. I'm doing it all.
- 7:50Speaker 7: That's right.
- 7:50Speaker 2: There's a new one. This one I will over-index usage of.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I love this one. It's so good. It's so perfect.
- 7:58Speaker 2: I can use it so often.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Right.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It's, what is it? It's polyester. Polyester.
- 8:04Speaker 3: That is so polyester.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Do the Trojans on the campus there, do they use polyester, Bella?
- 8:08Speaker 3: I've never heard.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Oh, well, you're welcome.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Listen to this.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Exactly. Check it out, Sissanee. Polyester.
- 8:14Speaker 11: If someone calls something polyester, they basically mean it feels fake, cheap, mass-produced.
- 8:20Speaker 13: Inauthentic.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Like it's trying too hard or trying too hard to impress.
- 8:24Speaker 3: That's polyester. So it's kind of replacing cringe a little bit.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It's better than cringe. No cringing, creepy, or I don't like,
- 8:32Speaker 2: I like polyester.
- 8:34Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 11: It's a little bit less harsh, right?
- 8:37Speaker 2: It sounds a little more playful, but everybody's IgE is polyester, bro.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I know. I was thinking that as something, basically, if
- 8:43Speaker 3: you have an Instagram, I think.
- 8:44Speaker 2: We're all polyester on your Instagram, bro. I just, I
- 8:47Speaker 2: hate to say it, but you are so, we are
- 8:49Speaker 2: so going to have the best time with polyester.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I know.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Uh, Yeah, I'm very excited about it.
- 8:56Speaker 6: There's actually a trend right now that's like anti-polyester where
- 8:58Speaker 6: everybody's like posting their flops.
- 9:02Speaker 2: But does it say anti-polyester?
- 9:04Speaker 7: No, it doesn't say anti-polyester. It just says these are
- 9:05Speaker 7: like my flops.
- 9:06Speaker 15: What do you mean flops? Like bad pictures? No, like outtakes. Yeah,
- 9:09Speaker 15: like stuff that I didn't show on Instagram. Fails this
- 9:12Speaker 15: week that I have. Like I didn't make this sale
- 9:14Speaker 15: on my call. I was late to this meeting.
- 9:17Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I like that. Versus people who fake apologize to me
- 9:20Speaker 2: that are polyester apologies.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Whoa, that sounds deep.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I'm just telling you what people do. They apologize or
- 9:26Speaker 2: they give you a compliment. It's a polyester compliment. I
- 9:29Speaker 2: don't buy it.
- 9:32Speaker 3: There's something going on. We need to talk about it.
- 9:35Speaker 2: I'm going to eat polyester up so much.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I will.
- 9:39Speaker 11: Yes.
- 9:40Speaker 2: That is a stand down.
- 9:41Speaker 4: I'm going to over.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Is it overcook? Am I going to overcook it?
- 9:43Speaker 11: Probably.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Oh, so this is why I come to work. These things,
- 9:48Speaker 2: these moments makes my day.
- 9:49Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 9:50Speaker 2: You're very gratefully, gratefully and respectfully. Thank you. And that
- 9:54Speaker 2: is not a polyester compliment. Full felt hearted one.
- 9:59Speaker 1: All right.
- 10:00Speaker 9: Right.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Got a quote of the day on the way coming
- 10:01Speaker 2: up here at Kiss FM. Let's kiss. Now, this was
- 10:05Speaker 2: in my algorithm. We've eaten these. You probably give them
- 10:07Speaker 2: to your kids. They're called goldfish crackers. Goldfish crackers, they're
- 10:12Speaker 2: a staple. Some would say their favorite snack.
- 10:15Speaker 7: Yes.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Dentists are saying, no, it can be worse than chocolate.
- 10:18Speaker 2: In some candies, the flour mixes with saliva to create sticky,
- 10:21Speaker 2: sugary paste gets stuck in the teeth and causes real drama.
- 10:26Speaker 2: but don't you know when you eat stuff like that?
- 10:28Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like cheese, it's all that stuff.
- 10:30Speaker 2: It's going to, you got to, you got to water
- 10:32Speaker 2: pick it, floss it out.
- 10:32Speaker 7: Think about that when you're eating crackers.
- 10:34Speaker 2: I didn't think it would be worse than candy.
- 10:36Speaker 3: You give this to your five-year-olds. And so they're not
- 10:38Speaker 3: really getting in there and brushing good.
- 10:40Speaker 2: No, they're probably not flossing on it. I just, that
- 10:43Speaker 2: was stood out to me. They're so great though. They're
- 10:45Speaker 2: the perfect snack. And when they get soggy, I love them.
- 10:48Speaker 2: You like them soggy? Oh, I like my great nuts soggy.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I like my cereal soggy. That's different. Like the milk
- 10:55Speaker 2: to get chocolatey.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Cereal soggy, fine. But how do you soggy up a
- 10:58Speaker 3: goldfish cracker?
- 10:59Speaker 7: I think he means he puts it in his mouth
- 11:00Speaker 7: and lets it soften.
- 11:02Speaker 13: Oh.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Like a bowl of water.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Like the roof of my mouth takes charge.
- 11:05Speaker 9: Got it.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Today's quote. In a world obsessed with being extraordinary, there
- 11:12Speaker 2: is a deep peace in just being human and un-polyestered.
- 11:18Speaker 7: That's not part of the quote.
- 11:19Speaker 2: It is now. I tailored it for you, Tanya. Good morning.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Let's get it done. It's Kiss FM. All right, Ryan's
- 11:26Speaker 2: Roses is on deck, 740. Dodger tickets next, too. Sisney,
- 11:29Speaker 2: what's new this morning? Headlines, please. Kiss FM headlines with Sisney.
- 11:33Speaker 11: So, Metrolink announced it will offer special late-night train service
- 11:38Speaker 11: for anyone attending this weekend's Daisy Chain Fields Music Festival
- 11:41Speaker 11: in Irvine. A woman gave birth to a baby girl
- 11:44Speaker 11: just off the 57 freeway early this.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Morning right near the Via Verde on-ramp.
- 11:49Speaker 11: A man accused of stalking Sabrina Carpenter by repeatedly showing up.
- 11:53Speaker 11: Adorelli Holm was found mentally incompetent to stand trial and
- 11:56Speaker 11: charges against him were dismissed. And don't forget, it's near
- 12:01Speaker 11: total lunar eclipse tonight with 96% of the moon falling into.
- 12:05Speaker 3: The Earth's shadow.
- 12:07Speaker 11: Griffith Observatory will be open for public viewing and will
- 12:11Speaker 11: stream the eclipse online.
- 12:14Speaker 2: It's Kiss FM. Another day, another week, another time, opportunity,
- 12:19Speaker 2: and accomplishment, an accolade for the Jonas Brothers. By the way,
- 12:22Speaker 2: a few weeks ago, not too long ago, they just
- 12:25Speaker 2: were named Disney Legends at the D23 Convention of Fans
- 12:30Speaker 2: in Anaheim. Congratulations, Jonas Brothers.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Very fun.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 12:36Speaker 1: What a crazy thing that was.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Kevin, Nick, Joe, to be a legend already and still
- 12:42Speaker 2: the youth of America at the same time, that's an
- 12:45Speaker 2: intersection of pop culture yet to be achieved. Wouldn't you say, Joe? Absolutely.
- 12:50Speaker 8: I mean, I think working with Disney all these years
- 12:53Speaker 8: and to share the room with Anne Hathaway and The Rock,
- 12:57Speaker 8: formerly known as Dwayne Johnson, it really is special to
- 13:02Speaker 8: receive something such like a high honor. It really is
- 13:04Speaker 8: a beautiful room, and we're so excited to continue kind
- 13:08Speaker 8: of doing more projects with them. I mean, we just
- 13:11Speaker 8: released Camp Rock 3 only a few weeks ago as producers,
- 13:15Speaker 8: which is kind of wild.
- 13:16Speaker 1: And so maybe more in the future.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Have you read Dwayne's contract? Because that language that you
- 13:22Speaker 2: recited is exactly what I think is in his vocabulary
- 13:27Speaker 2: of his deal. Dwayne The Rock Johnson, formerly known as
- 13:30Speaker 2: The Rock Dwayne Johnson. I think you have to say that.
- 13:34Speaker 1: That's his Wikipedia now, yeah.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Nick, what would you say if you were to distill
- 13:39Speaker 2: this down, the Jonas Brothers secret to the magic, the
- 13:43Speaker 2: secret to the success year after year, what would you
- 13:46Speaker 2: distill it down to?
- 13:47Speaker 1: I mean, I think it's hands down the fans.
- 13:50Speaker 9: Um, it's just been incredible to watch over the last,
- 13:53Speaker 9: you know, 20 years at this point, um, how they've
- 13:57Speaker 9: stuck by us, grown with us now, introduced their kids
- 14:00Speaker 9: to the music and, and looking out at these shows,
- 14:02Speaker 9: you know, seeing new fans, um, and fans that have
- 14:07Speaker 9: been there forever just means the world to us.
- 14:08Speaker 2: And I think it's also a testament to.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Our, our love for working with each other and getting
- 14:14Speaker 1: to do what we do together.
- 14:15Speaker 5: It's, it's really incredible to get to share these, these
- 14:18Speaker 5: moments with family and to still be having these new experiences.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Jonas Brothers with us. So Kevin, I think about this often, right?
- 14:25Speaker 2: Like what is the magic? What is it that you
- 14:28Speaker 2: guys do? Obviously you're, you're talented. You perform amazingly. You
- 14:32Speaker 2: reach people all over the world. But to me, there's,
- 14:33Speaker 2: there's an equation Kevin of like, you bring in new
- 14:36Speaker 2: fans with the excitement of new things, but I feel
- 14:39Speaker 2: like you reward, like you, you reward those who have
- 14:43Speaker 2: been there for a long time. Do you ever think
- 14:45Speaker 2: about it like that?
- 14:47Speaker 1: Uh, I, I don't know about reward. I feel like I'm,
- 14:50Speaker 1: we're rewarded.
- 14:51Speaker 16: Uh, honestly, like the last thing we just did obviously
- 14:54Speaker 16: was the, uh, burning up tour all over again. And
- 14:57Speaker 16: the three shows at MSG and being able to do
- 14:59Speaker 16: that and relive that tour, uh, and then bring that
- 15:03Speaker 16: back to life after all, you know, I don't even
- 15:06Speaker 16: remember exactly guys, how many years is it actually?
- 15:08Speaker 2: It's like, what?
- 15:09Speaker 1: It's a 16 years. It's enough years.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:13Speaker 4: 35, 33, 35. Yeah.
- 15:14Speaker 16: Um, bringing that back since 2008 and actually like reliving
- 15:18Speaker 16: it all. And then of course being able to play
- 15:20Speaker 16: new music at the same time as well. Like, it's
- 15:22Speaker 16: just kind of like, how are we still able to
- 15:25Speaker 16: do this? It's, it's a beautiful thing.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Do you all use electric toothbrushes or do you use manual?
- 15:32Speaker 1: I'd like to know from each of you. Thank you,
- 15:33Speaker 1: I was dying to answer this question. Yeah, this is
- 15:35Speaker 1: really important.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Mike, why don't you start?
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm using a Bruch right now, B-R-U-U-S-H.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Are you familiar?
- 15:41Speaker 1: Tanya knows all about the Bruch. I know, I love
- 15:43Speaker 1: the Bruch.
- 15:44Speaker 2: We know about the Bruch. Yeah, we love the Bruch.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I like a multi-setting toothbrush. Yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 8: Nick's got like a whole closet of, he's got a
- 15:54Speaker 8: pharmacy in his drawers. At the guest room, I'm just
- 15:58Speaker 8: running through all the free ones.
- 16:00Speaker 3: The ones from like hotels you bring back?
- 16:01Speaker 6: I'm sorry, but Nick and Joe sharing a headset is
- 16:04Speaker 6: literally sending me.
- 16:06Speaker 4: No, we're not.
- 16:07Speaker 8: I actually, I tried to get him to borrow the
- 16:09Speaker 8: other ear, but he refused.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Actually, if you watch the video, it looks like they're
- 16:14Speaker 2: flying together as a couple on an airplane watching the
- 16:16Speaker 2: same movie, but only packed one set of headphones.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Kevin, what do you got for the dental hygiene?
- 16:24Speaker 16: You know, Danny got us on these new water picks
- 16:26Speaker 16: that are really pretty great.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I like a water pick. But I like an oral brush. Well, sure,
- 16:33Speaker 1: but the water pick does all the work for you.
- 16:35Speaker 4: It does.
- 16:35Speaker 2: He's right. I have a battery-powered one. It's like a cannon.
- 16:37Speaker 2: That thing sprays my mirror.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, like it just clears it all out.
- 16:40Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 16:41Speaker 1: I feel like I lose a tooth.
- 16:44Speaker 2: No, it's great. You would not believe the herbs that
- 16:46Speaker 2: pop out when you use this thing. There's herbs?
- 16:48Speaker 4: People need to know.
- 16:52Speaker 3: The stuff's stuck in his teeth.
- 16:54Speaker 2: But electric or manual on the toothbrush?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Oh, we go electric. Yeah, we're an Oral-B family. Ryan,
- 17:04Speaker 1: what about you? This is what.
- 17:06Speaker 3: The people need to know.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I have both. I have both. I have the electric.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I have the water pick, which is a charger dealio.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I mean, it's like a can in that thing. And
- 17:13Speaker 2: I travel with it. It's big to travel with. And
- 17:16Speaker 2: I have a manual on because sometimes I need the
- 17:18Speaker 2: sensation of feeling something. Like I did when I was
- 17:22Speaker 2: a kid, you know?
- 17:24Speaker 4: Right.
- 17:24Speaker 1: It's good to remind yourself like you're alive.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:28Speaker 2: It's good to have these nostalgic moments.
- 17:29Speaker 16: All right.
- 17:30Speaker 2: We have some unbelievable new music from the Jonas Brothers
- 17:33Speaker 2: that I got to play this track. Coming up next.
- 17:35Speaker 2: You're going to love the vibe. It's next on KISS FM.
- 17:40Speaker 2: On a 2.7 KISS FM. Jonas Brothers with us. Listen
- 17:45Speaker 2: when sad is out tonight. And listen to Hey Jonas
- 17:49Speaker 2: wherever you get your podcasts. It's now available on Hulu,
- 17:51Speaker 2: Disney +, and the Jonas Brothers are here. I'm about
- 17:55Speaker 2: to play this track, which is a new track for you,
- 17:58Speaker 2: but it has nostalgic tones and textures to it, inspired
- 18:03Speaker 2: by some of those early 2000s days.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Yeah, this is so exciting for us. This song's finally out.
- 18:10Speaker 13: We wanted to tap back into that early sound. Our
- 18:14Speaker 13: kind of breakthrough album in 07, self-titled and a little
- 18:17Speaker 13: bit longer, and just that time in our lives when
- 18:20Speaker 13: everything was new and exciting, we were writing about things
- 18:23Speaker 13: that were happening to us in real time. And so
- 18:25Speaker 13: we re-teamed with John Fields, our producer from those records,
- 18:30Speaker 13: to give it that feel, nostalgic feel. But also this
- 18:33Speaker 13: lyric is all about those endless summers you have when
- 18:36Speaker 13: you're 16 and you feel like you've got the world
- 18:38Speaker 13: at your fingertips and it kind of just goes by
- 18:41Speaker 13: in a flash.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And, you know, it's exciting for us.
- 18:45Speaker 13: To you know, get this out there now and to
- 18:48Speaker 13: also have a lot of announcements coming in the next
- 18:52Speaker 13: few days, but kicking this thing off.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Okay.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Do you remember the summer of 69, Nick?
- 19:02Speaker 13: Hmm.
- 19:03Speaker 15: Yes.
- 19:04Speaker 1: That was a, by the way, that was a great event.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You crushed on the hosting July 4th.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Thank you. It was too hot.
- 19:11Speaker 1: It was just too hot.
- 19:12Speaker 2: It was so hot. It's still, it was so hot that,
- 19:15Speaker 2: but that's one of the great, when I think of
- 19:17Speaker 2: like summer rock and roll and you did a cover
- 19:20Speaker 2: of that, that's the one that stands out as like
- 19:22Speaker 2: defining to me.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:24Speaker 5: I think, you know, this, this song hopefully will give
- 19:27Speaker 5: everyone the feels, you know, it's, it's, it's that time
- 19:31Speaker 5: in all of our lives when, when you feel like
- 19:33Speaker 5: you can do anything and, and, and, you know, you
- 19:35Speaker 5: look up and all of a sudden you're talking about,
- 19:38Speaker 5: Which toothbrush you're using.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Let's roll it. We got to play. Let's go. Kevin, Nick,
- 19:42Speaker 2: Joe with us. Jonas Brothers. Listen to this new music.
- 19:44Speaker 9: 102.7.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Kiss FM. so good the jonas brothers there 102.7 kiss
- 19:52Speaker 2: fm thanks guys yeah sure sweating i can picture the
- 19:57Speaker 2: venue kevin when you're singing that song you're out on
- 20:00Speaker 2: the road And the lights go up on the audience's face.
- 20:03Speaker 2: And you just watch dudes and girls singing that back,
- 20:07Speaker 2: like wide open mouth, singing that back to you.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Right?
- 20:11Speaker 1: That is what they can do that. Yeah. Burning up
- 20:14Speaker 1: tour all over again, kicking off September 25th in Boston.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Yeah. But isn't that, that's a song. It creates that moment.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to be ambiguous before, but I'm just, I just.
- 20:25Speaker 2: You're too excited.
- 20:25Speaker 1: About it.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:27Speaker 2: No, it really does.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I think this song is one of those, it brings
- 20:30Speaker 1: this right back.
- 20:30Speaker 16: It's definitely, you hear it the first time we were
- 20:32Speaker 16: like working on it, going back and working with John
- 20:34Speaker 16: Fields on this again, like it feels quintessential Jonas Brothers,
- 20:38Speaker 16: you know, from.
- 20:39Speaker 1: The early, you know, 2009, 2008 era.
- 20:41Speaker 16: But it also feels now, and it speaks to that
- 20:44Speaker 16: time where we were all burning CDs, maybe Gen Zs
- 20:47Speaker 16: and Alpha, not sure what that is, but you know,
- 20:49Speaker 16: they'll figure it out.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm trying to think of like, if we threw
- 20:52Speaker 2: that on back in early 2000s, in the mix with
- 20:56Speaker 2: the Strokes, are in the mix with Switchfoot, what is it,
- 21:01Speaker 2: Death Cab?
- 21:02Speaker 3: Dashboard, Confessional.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Dashboard, Death Cab, Beauty.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Paramore.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Yeah, Paramore.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I love it. They said it went number one back then, too.
- 21:14Speaker 1: So that's basically what's going to happen again.
- 21:17Speaker 2: You're reliving the number one once again. End of September
- 21:20Speaker 2: in Boston, it kicks off. Yes. Gentlemen, thank you so
- 21:24Speaker 2: much for coming on. Thank you. You guys are the best.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Sounds great.
- 21:27Speaker 1: You guys are always the best.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Always great to see you.
- 21:29Speaker 7: Yeah, I love you guys.
- 21:31Speaker 2: See you next time. Thanks, guys.
- 21:32Speaker 4: We'll see you soon. Thanks, Ryan.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Bye, guys.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Bye-bye.
- 21:35Speaker 14: Bye.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Kiss FM, Ryan's Roses. We're about to make the call
- 21:38Speaker 2: to Leslie's husband. So he cheated on her. She forgave him.
- 21:42Speaker 2: They got back together. They worked it out, and things
- 21:44Speaker 2: are moving along. Then she finds taped under the desk
- 21:47Speaker 2: a secret phone. He's hiding a secret phone. He said
- 21:51Speaker 2: he would never talk to the other woman again. Now,
- 21:55Speaker 2: she finally starts to feel better. She finally may be
- 21:57Speaker 2: trusting him again.
- 21:58Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 21:59Speaker 2: And it's all gone. Because he's hiding a phone. And
- 22:03Speaker 2: he's not just like has a phone. He's hiding a phone.
- 22:05Speaker 2: It's like taped up under a desk.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Could it have been there from years ago? Could it
- 22:08Speaker 3: have been the old phone from the previous?
- 22:10Speaker 2: Taped up there?
- 22:10Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Maybe he forgot about it.
- 22:12Speaker 11: No.
- 22:15Speaker 2: What's her name? Do you know the other woman's name?
- 22:17Speaker 9: Ariella.
- 22:20Speaker 2: All right, we're going to call and see if we
- 22:23Speaker 2: can find out. Be very quiet. I need you to say, Ryan,
- 22:25Speaker 2: you have my permission to call, and then his name.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 22:28Speaker 4: You have my permission to call.
- 22:32Speaker 2: We're going to do it now. Be very quiet. Let's
- 22:34Speaker 2: see if we can find out.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Hello?
- 22:47Speaker 3: Hi, is this Mike?
- 22:49Speaker 11: Uh, it is.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Who is this?
- 22:51Speaker 3: Hi, my name is Bev. I'm calling from sweet blooms.
- 22:53Speaker 3: How are you doing this morning?
- 22:56Speaker 4: Is this a scam call?
- 22:57Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 22:58Speaker 11: Mike, we deliver here locally and surrounding areas and we're
- 23:01Speaker 11: offering a free promotion.
- 23:02Speaker 3: It's a dozen red roses that you can send to
- 23:04Speaker 3: anybody that you'd like. I don't need cash from you.
- 23:06Speaker 3: I don't need credit card info. This is not a scam. Uh,
- 23:08Speaker 3: we're just trying.
- 23:09Speaker 7: To promote our business.
- 23:11Speaker 10: So just what kind of flower shop is randomly calls people?
- 23:14Speaker 4: You're not free roses.
- 23:15Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 23:16Speaker 11: We do this promotion about once a month and it
- 23:18Speaker 11: does bring in new customers. And so that's why we
- 23:21Speaker 11: continue to do it. And if you're pleased with our arrangements,
- 23:23Speaker 11: hopefully you become one of those new customers, but this
- 23:25Speaker 11: one's free and it is not a subscription.
- 23:27Speaker 3: It's not anything like that. I don't need cash. It's
- 23:30Speaker 3: absolutely free.
- 23:32Speaker 9: Okay.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Okay. Um, yeah, I guess that could work.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:35Speaker 3: So we just need the name of the person you
- 23:37Speaker 3: want to send the roses to and a note.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Okay.
- 23:41Speaker 10: Um, Oh wait, what will I get any kind of
- 23:44Speaker 10: receipt in the mail or anything?
- 23:47Speaker 4: No. No receipt.
- 23:48Speaker 10: Okay. Okay, got it. Okay, let's put Ariella. It's spelled A-R-I-E-L-A.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Okay, beautiful. And what would you like to put on
- 24:02Speaker 3: the note for her?
- 24:05Speaker 10: Oh, just put missing you.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Missing you. Short and sweet.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:13Speaker 3: All right.
- 24:13Speaker 1: And then love Mike.
- 24:16Speaker 14: Love Mike.
- 24:17Speaker 7: Mike.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Mike, are we going down this path again? You did
- 24:20Speaker 2: this once, and now you're doing it again. Are you
- 24:23Speaker 2: taking advantage of your wife's forgiveness? What's wrong? What are
- 24:28Speaker 2: you missing? Why are you continuing to cheat on your wife, Leslie?
- 24:33Speaker 2: This is Ryan Seacrest. Your voice is being broadcast on
- 24:35Speaker 2: the radio.
- 24:36Speaker 4: What the hell are you talking about?
- 24:38Speaker 2: Why are you doing this again? You're completely... Taking advantage
- 24:46Speaker 2: of the woman that forgave you for being unfaithful once already.
- 24:50Speaker 2: And here you go again, Mike. What's wrong? What's your problem?
- 24:57Speaker 4: You talk to my wife?
- 25:03Speaker 2: Yeah, your wife's on the phone, Mike. So why are
- 25:06Speaker 2: you doing this?
- 25:08Speaker 4: I knew it, Mike.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Even when we were in counseling, I knew you were
- 25:12Speaker 1: still seeing her.
- 25:13Speaker 4: I knew it. We weren't seeing each other the whole time.
- 25:25Speaker 3: You just couldn't stay faithful.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Mike, why didn't you keep your word? I mean, the
- 25:36Speaker 2: first time you cheated, then you said you'd never talk
- 25:38Speaker 2: to her again. Then you hit a phone and taped
- 25:40Speaker 2: it up under the desk. Why can't you be honest
- 25:44Speaker 2: with your wife?
- 25:44Speaker 7: Because he's a narcissist.
- 25:50Speaker 4: I'm sorry. I tried.
- 25:52Speaker 3: You didn't try.
- 25:55Speaker 2: You tried what? You tried to lie about it again
- 25:58Speaker 2: and cover it up again? What did you try to do, Mike?
- 26:01Speaker 2: We're all ears, bro.
- 26:05Speaker 4: What am I going to tell our kids?
- 26:08Speaker 3: What am I going to say to.
- 26:09Speaker 11: The kids, Mike?
- 26:13Speaker 4: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I should go.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Well, you're going to go. You're going to go. I mean, look,
- 26:21Speaker 2: your wife is asking you, how does she explain your
- 26:23Speaker 2: behavior to the kids? What does she say? I don't know.
- 26:33Speaker 4: I messed up, I guess.
- 26:36Speaker 3: And continue to mess up.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Mike, will you ever be able to be honest? I'm
- 26:48Speaker 2: being honest right now. Never mind, Mike.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Goodbye.
- 26:53Speaker 2: He's gone. Leslie, I'm very sorry. He's never going to change.
- 26:59Speaker 2: You cannot go back to him. It's a difficult moment
- 27:03Speaker 2: for you and your kids. He's never going to change.
- 27:05Speaker 2: He never did change. It's the first day to open
- 27:09Speaker 2: the door to moving on.
- 27:13Speaker 1: It's hard, but I know it's very obvious now. You
- 27:17Speaker 1: know that thing where you just don't want to blow
- 27:19Speaker 1: your life up and you need to breathe.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Yes, and you thought maybe he'd be capable of actually
- 27:25Speaker 2: being true to his word, but he's not. He never
- 27:27Speaker 2: will be. It's time to go.
- 27:28Speaker 3: And it's been years.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Thank you for reaching out. Good luck to you.
- 27:32Speaker 3: So sorry.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 27:34Speaker 2: It's been cheating on her the whole time. That one hurts.
- 27:39Speaker 3: I actually feel heartbroken for her.
- 27:42Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 27:45Speaker 9: 2.7.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Kiss of them. There's your Taylor Swift. So Ronnie's out
- 27:49Speaker 2: in San Pedro trying to give you some relief for gas.
- 27:51Speaker 2: It's like between the utility bill for the air conditioning
- 27:54Speaker 2: and the gas prices, everything is a lot when you
- 27:58Speaker 2: sum it all up. Average price of gas, like $ 5. 64
- 28:01Speaker 2: right around there in San Pedro.
- 28:05Speaker 6: $ 5, $ 6.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Crazy.
- 28:05Speaker 2: So Ronnie's out there. Now, I have a photo of
- 28:10Speaker 2: Ronnie from Instagram.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Where are you?
- 28:11Speaker 2: Why are you yelling at me, Ronnie? I haven't even
- 28:13Speaker 2: started with you.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Oh, sorry.
- 28:17Speaker 14: A lady was telling me that she's listening to us
- 28:19Speaker 14: right now. So I was like, oh my goodness. So
- 28:23Speaker 14: I tried to like flag her down.
- 28:24Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Okay.
- 28:25Speaker 2: So Mark has a picture of you from your Instagram
- 28:27Speaker 2: here in the studio up on the screens shirtless. Well done.
- 28:31Speaker 2: But Tanya tells me that you're wearing her vanilla bean
- 28:33Speaker 2: cutoff today that she gave you as a gift.
- 28:36Speaker 4: Yes. So Tanya, because you know, me and her could
- 28:38Speaker 4: wear the same size.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I did not know that. That was not a note
- 28:42Speaker 2: I had.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Well, technically, we're not the same size, but I made
- 28:45Speaker 4: it work. So she gave me this two-piece set, and
- 28:48Speaker 4: then I cut it up so it's like a sleeveless
- 28:50Speaker 4: little vibe. And it's so cute.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Okay, well, good. So if you are in San Pedro,
- 28:56Speaker 2: and you see cuteness approaching you at the tank, that's Ronnie.
- 29:00Speaker 7: Yeah, this shirt had full-on sleeves, by the way, and
- 29:02Speaker 7: he just chopped them up.
- 29:03Speaker 2: We didn't check. They took the sides out. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 29:06Speaker 2: It's completely sideless.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Yeah, creative.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Ronnie, can we give some guests?
- 29:09Speaker 4: I also think this was a pajama shirt, but.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I made it work today. It's a workday shirt. Can
- 29:15Speaker 2: we give away some gas?
- 29:17Speaker 4: Yes, we are going to give away some gas right now.
- 29:20Speaker 4: And she is listening to us. So here she is
- 29:23Speaker 4: right now. Two seconds. Okay. Ryan Seacrest is on the phone.
- 29:28Speaker 4: Oh my God. Are you serious? Hi, Ryan.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Hi, what's your name?
- 29:32Speaker 13: My name is Tony.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Tony Ryan Seacrest is listening to Tanya on Kiss FM.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Thank you for listening.
- 29:37Speaker 3: What up?
- 29:39Speaker 10: Hi, Tanya.
- 29:40Speaker 7: Hi.
- 29:42Speaker 2: What's up, girl?
- 29:43Speaker 4: What up? So where are you.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Headed this morning? What are you up to in San Pedro?
- 29:48Speaker 14: Every morning.
- 29:49Speaker 4: I'm on my way to work.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Okay, what do you do for work?
- 29:54Speaker 4: I'm a private caregiver for hospice patients.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Wow.
- 29:57Speaker 2: I know. What an angel you are. That is such
- 30:01Speaker 2: a delicate role.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it is. It is.
- 30:05Speaker 2: And thank you for doing it.
- 30:06Speaker 4: I've been doing it a long time.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Well, you have a big heart.
- 30:09Speaker 3: That's incredible.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Well, we are going to get you there. We're going
- 30:14Speaker 2: to fill up that tank of gas. Don't worry about
- 30:16Speaker 2: a thing. That guy right there, Ronnie Henry, is going
- 30:19Speaker 2: to take care of it for you.
- 30:21Speaker 4: And you guys came on time. My gas light is on.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Timing is everything, isn't it?
- 30:26Speaker 7: Girl, that's like me.
- 30:27Speaker 3: I always wait for the light to come on.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Oh my God. This is so awesome. I always, I
- 30:33Speaker 4: listened to you guys on the way to work and everything.
- 30:36Speaker 4: And you guys are awesome.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Well, Tony, we really appreciate you. And thank you so
- 30:40Speaker 2: much for listening to us. More importantly, thanks for doing
- 30:42Speaker 2: what you do every day for those families. You take
- 30:44Speaker 2: good care.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Okay.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Get there safely.
- 30:46Speaker 4: You too. You guys take care.
- 30:47Speaker 11: Okay.
- 30:49Speaker 7: Bye.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Bye.
- 30:50Speaker 12: Bye.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Ronnie. Oh, Hey, you guys.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Hey, I love her.
- 30:56Speaker 9: She's amazing.
- 30:57Speaker 16: Tony.
- 31:00Speaker 14: Yeah, I'm happy we got her because she saw the
- 31:03Speaker 14: kiss card here.
- 31:04Speaker 4: So she yelled.
- 31:04Speaker 14: She's like, I'm listening to you guys right now. So
- 31:06Speaker 14: I was like, oh my goodness, let me go get
- 31:08Speaker 14: her some gas.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Okay, perfect.
- 31:09Speaker 2: So we're going to go do some other things and
- 31:12Speaker 2: we'll come back to you in San Pedro with more
- 31:13Speaker 2: free gas, okay?
- 31:15Speaker 4: Okay, talk to you guys soon.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Okay, bye Ronnie.
- 31:17Speaker 13: Bye.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Bye.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Now, remember when he first started, people were not so
- 31:22Speaker 2: excited for Ronnie. I don't know why, because they didn't
- 31:24Speaker 2: know Ronnie. They never met Ronnie. It's true. He was
- 31:26Speaker 2: doing it for so long. Now, look at this. People
- 31:28Speaker 2: rolling up, yelling, asking for Ronnie. Ronnie and his vanilla
- 31:32Speaker 2: bean cutoff is in San Pedro with free gas. A
- 31:35Speaker 2: lot of freaks, FM. Ronnie is out in San Pedro
- 31:38Speaker 2: with free gas. We'll get back to him after 9 o'clock.
- 31:41Speaker 4: Okay.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Let's get to this trending report. Tanya, go ahead. You're on.
- 31:44Speaker 6: So Ray, the woman behind the song, where is my husband?
- 31:48Speaker 6: She's making a pretty bold promise to her fans right now.
- 31:51Speaker 6: She says she's flat out refusing to write her third album.
- 31:54Speaker 7: Until she falls in love.
- 31:57Speaker 6: She was on the today show and she said, I'm
- 31:58Speaker 6: on strike from making an album until I fall in love.
- 32:01Speaker 6: And when they asked if she was serious about waiting
- 32:03Speaker 6: that long, she doubled down.
- 32:03Speaker 7: She said, absolutely.
- 32:04Speaker 6: I'm hard set. It could be 10 years, guys. She
- 32:08Speaker 6: says she's just tired of writing from heartbreak. Her last
- 32:11Speaker 6: two projects were basically all about being alone or getting
- 32:14Speaker 6: her heart stomped on, and she's already picked out the
- 32:18Speaker 6: title of the third album, and it's going to be
- 32:20Speaker 6: And Then She Fell In Love. So she wants to
- 32:22Speaker 6: write from a different place for once. She's not forcing
- 32:25Speaker 6: something just to have new music.
- 32:28Speaker 2: But isn't that forcing it? No, I understand it. Look,
- 32:31Speaker 2: she's tired of writing about bad dudes. She's done it.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I get it.
- 32:36Speaker 2: How many heartbreak bad dudes can you write about? She
- 32:38Speaker 2: wants something refreshing. And here's the interesting thing. I feel
- 32:42Speaker 2: like her fans are going to try to hook her
- 32:44Speaker 2: up fast because they're going to want the new music.
- 32:46Speaker 2: But that's the thing. Millions of people as wing people.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Wing women, wing men.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Is she going to fall for the first dude because
- 32:51Speaker 3: she wants to fall in love so badly? And maybe
- 32:53Speaker 3: that's not her dude. And then it's not the right love.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Well, there's a good album. Because she went in with
- 32:59Speaker 2: the intention of making it the right person. So it
- 33:01Speaker 2: becomes an authentic album. It's not polyester.
- 33:06Speaker 6: I just feel like when you have these, like I
- 33:08Speaker 6: have done this, when you have these rigid rules in
- 33:10Speaker 6: place where you're like, I'm going to do this for this.
- 33:12Speaker 7: Amount of time. And then it just, it's, you're not
- 33:15Speaker 7: like going with the flow.
- 33:17Speaker 4: Okay.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Let me speak to both those points. Going with the
- 33:20Speaker 2: flow doesn't work and being rigid doesn't work.
- 33:22Speaker 4: Okay.
- 33:23Speaker 2: It doesn't matter which path you choose. You just got
- 33:25Speaker 2: to happen.
- 33:25Speaker 3: It has to happen organically.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I've done both in the last month.
- 33:29Speaker 9: Oh, wow.
- 33:30Speaker 7: Do share.
- 33:30Speaker 13: No.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Pink Panthers and Zara Larson on Kiss FM. Okay, Elizabeth
- 33:38Speaker 2: is in Corona. Sissany and Tanya, enter the back room.
- 33:40Speaker 2: We're going to play Which City Has More. All right,
- 33:45Speaker 2: Elizabeth Corona, how are you feeling this morning?
- 33:47Speaker 4: I'm feeling excited.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I'm about to lose control, and I think I like it.
- 33:54Speaker 2: I'm so excited. Okay, so we are going to give
- 33:58Speaker 2: you a chain, a store. And two cities. You tell
- 34:02Speaker 2: us which city has more of the chain, okay? For example, well,
- 34:06Speaker 2: not even example. I guess today's chain is In-N-Out.
- 34:10Speaker 4: So this is it.
- 34:10Speaker 2: The categories In-N-Out stores. You got to get three right
- 34:14Speaker 2: before you get three wrong. Which city has more In-N-Out
- 34:17Speaker 2: burgers for the Raging Waters tickets?
- 34:19Speaker 4: Okay, ready? Okay, ready.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Which city has more In-N-Out burgers? Riverside or Huntington Beach?
- 34:27Speaker 4: Riverside. Correct.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Four to two. They have four?
- 34:33Speaker 4: Next one.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Which city has more In-N-Out burgers, Anaheim or Glendale?
- 34:39Speaker 4: Anaheim.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Correct. Four to two. All ready for the win. Which
- 34:45Speaker 2: city has more In-N-Out burgers, Northridge or Long Beach?
- 34:52Speaker 4: Long Beach.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Elizabeth, you must be vegan because you got all of
- 34:57Speaker 2: those In-N-Out burger locations correct. That's right. Long Beach 42.
- 35:03Speaker 6: I don't understand the vegan reference.
- 35:07Speaker 4: Because they have burgers. You can do veggie wrap.
- 35:11Speaker 3: I know.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I was being facetious. We moved past it. We love Elizabeth.
- 35:16Speaker 2: She's going to Raging Waters. She's got free tickets. Beat
- 35:19Speaker 2: the heat. And thank you for listening.
- 35:22Speaker 6: Thank you, guys.
- 35:24Speaker 4: I'm so happy.
- 35:25Speaker 14: Shout out to you guys, all of you guys.
- 35:27Speaker 11: I love you guys.
- 35:27Speaker 4: I listen to you guys every morning for many, many years.
- 35:31Speaker 8: I love you guys.
- 35:31Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 35:32Speaker 10: And my kids are going to be so proud of me.
- 35:35Speaker 2: We love you. Thank you for your loyalty. If you
- 35:38Speaker 2: had to pick your love affair for one of us,
- 35:40Speaker 2: who would be at the top of the list?
- 35:41Speaker 13: Oh, wow.
- 35:42Speaker 7: He's doing that.
- 35:44Speaker 2: No, don't answer.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Don't answer.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Be uncomfortable. I don't want to make it awkward.
- 35:48Speaker 10: I love you guys all.
- 35:49Speaker 2: That's right. We're all equal kids.
- 35:51Speaker 4: Yes, yes, equal. I love you guys all.
- 35:54Speaker 10: I listen to you guys every morning.
- 35:56Speaker 14: You know, my son's in the Army now.
- 35:58Speaker 4: He's serving the Army. And my daughter's a senior in
- 36:01Speaker 4: high school. And, you know, we listen to you guys
- 36:04Speaker 4: all the time. So they grew up with you guys listening.
- 36:06Speaker 3: I love that.
- 36:07Speaker 4: We love you all.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Well, it sounds like you did a great job raising
- 36:10Speaker 2: those kids. Thank your son for his service to our country,
- 36:13Speaker 2: and God bless you.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 36:16Speaker 14: Likewise to everyone.
- 36:17Speaker 4: I really appreciate you guys' time, and thank you so much.
- 36:20Speaker 4: I love you guys.
- 36:20Speaker 2: I love you, too. Thank you very much. Elizabeth's the best.
- 36:23Speaker 2: It's Kiss FM.
- 36:25Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Together we're on Kiss Seacrest here. Let me bounce back
- 36:31Speaker 2: out to San Pedro where Ronnie has been giving away
- 36:34Speaker 2: free gas. You know, it's interesting to me. San Pedro
- 36:37Speaker 2: is at the port. You can literally see the gas
- 36:41Speaker 2: coming in on the tankers, yet you're still paying 560
- 36:47Speaker 2: whatever a gallon. Doesn't it seem crazy? It's right there.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Right.
- 36:51Speaker 2: It shouldn't cost that much. Just run it over. Zip
- 36:54Speaker 2: it down the line. I mean, they got all those
- 36:57Speaker 2: big tankers in those bulk terminals there. I'm fascinated by
- 37:00Speaker 2: the port.
- 37:01Speaker 3: You really do love a port life.
- 37:02Speaker 2: I do. I want to do a field trip. If
- 37:04Speaker 2: anybody works at the port, I want to go deep.
- 37:07Speaker 3: All my family works there, by the way.
- 37:10Speaker 2: All your family works at the port?
- 37:11Speaker 1: Yes.
- 37:11Speaker 12: So many aunts and uncles that work at the port.
- 37:13Speaker 9: Oh.
- 37:14Speaker 7: They're longshoremen.
- 37:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Oh, cool. This is right. This is my dream.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I have a few connections.
- 37:20Speaker 2: I want to know about every container. I want to
- 37:23Speaker 2: know how long they've been waiting, how long it's shipped across,
- 37:26Speaker 2: which ocean I have. So what the truck that they
- 37:28Speaker 2: put it on, where that truck is going, what time
- 37:30Speaker 2: it will get to its destination, what will be inside
- 37:32Speaker 2: the container and unloaded. I want to go really into this.
- 37:35Speaker 2: I could do a documentary, a deep dive.
- 37:38Speaker 7: You know, oceans where things come from.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Oh, how about this? The moon and the stars and
- 37:43Speaker 2: the sun.
- 37:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:44Speaker 2: In my next life, I'm going to do deep dives.
- 37:48Speaker 7: Which life do you think this is for you?
- 37:51Speaker 2: The best ever? I don't know.
- 37:52Speaker 3: What do you want me to say?
- 37:56Speaker 2: What's the right answer?
- 37:58Speaker 7: Do you think this is like your first, your second.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Your third? No, this is my pursuit life. I'm looking.
- 38:03Speaker 2: I'm searching.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 38:05Speaker 2: And then I'll have my found life where I'll settle.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Wow.
- 38:09Speaker 2: And be in one place.
- 38:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Quiet.
- 38:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 38:13Speaker 2: I'll be stationary and quiet.
- 38:15Speaker 11: Quiet.
- 38:17Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 38:17Speaker 2: I won't do much or ask any questions and I'll
- 38:19Speaker 2: have patience and things like that. Ronnie, Good morning.
- 38:23Speaker 4: Good morning, you guys.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Okay.
- 38:25Speaker 4: What an interesting conversation. I wonder what life is of mine. Yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 11: Right.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Which life are you in?
- 38:33Speaker 14: I actually don't know, but you know, this is a
- 38:37Speaker 14: good life right now. I feel like I'm in a
- 38:38Speaker 14: good era and I'm just feeling really good.
- 38:41Speaker 4: Okay.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Well, make somebody else feel really good with your good feeling.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Who do you have there?
- 38:45Speaker 4: So I am here. Ryan Seacrest wants to pay for
- 38:48Speaker 4: your gas. Do you want him to give you free
- 38:50Speaker 4: gas today?
- 38:51Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 38:52Speaker 4: What's your name?
- 38:53Speaker 5: Carla.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Carla. Ryan Seacrest is on the phone right now. Do
- 38:55Speaker 4: you want to talk to him? Sure. Here you go. Hello.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Hi, Carla. Good morning.
- 39:01Speaker 4: Hi.
- 39:02Speaker 16: Good morning.
- 39:03Speaker 2: So tell me, what are you up to this morning?
- 39:05Speaker 4: Oh, getting ready to head off to work.
- 39:08Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Well, that's Ronnie. He works with us here at Kiss FM,
- 39:10Speaker 2: and we want to fill up your tank and give
- 39:12Speaker 2: you some free gas this morning in San Pedro.
- 39:14Speaker 14: That's awesome. Thank you so much.
- 39:16Speaker 2: You are very welcome. What do you do for work?
- 39:19Speaker 4: I work for AT & T. I'm an analyst there.
- 39:22Speaker 2: What do you analyze?
- 39:23Speaker 4: Keeping people connected. Yes, you are.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Keeping communities connected. You're keeping 911 operators connected. for their
- 39:30Speaker 2: services as well. I know the copy. What are you
- 39:36Speaker 2: analyzing right now?
- 39:37Speaker 11: Well, just making sure everybody is able to get their
- 39:41Speaker 11: services online, help with the call centers, stay organized, all
- 39:44Speaker 11: that good stuff.
- 39:45Speaker 2: It's a great company.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Wow.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I mean, think of the things that you... You keep
- 39:48Speaker 2: families in touch. You keep loved ones in touch.
- 39:51Speaker 4: That's true.
- 39:52Speaker 2: You share birthdays and anniversaries with people because of your connection.
- 39:55Speaker 2: I could go on and on about AT & T,
- 39:57Speaker 2: but let's get back to your tank. Thank you, yes.
- 40:00Speaker 2: Tell the Val in both consonants we appreciate them.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 40:05Speaker 2: And we are going to get you to AT &
- 40:07Speaker 2: T fast today, filling up your tank. That's Ronnie, Free Gas,
- 40:10Speaker 2: and enjoy. Thank you for listening to us.
- 40:12Speaker 14: Awesome.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 40:14Speaker 4: Have a great day. You too.
- 40:15Speaker 1: All right.
- 40:16Speaker 2: All right. Hello. You should thank her for your service.
- 40:22Speaker 4: Yes, I will. And I just want to point out,
- 40:24Speaker 4: you guys, I am like having such good luck. People
- 40:27Speaker 4: are all saying yes to me.
- 40:28Speaker 2: I know. We're going to do it again. It's the
- 40:32Speaker 2: vanilla cutoff that Tanya gave you as a gift, but
- 40:34Speaker 2: we will keep doing this. I think, oh, now it's
- 40:37Speaker 2: getting exciting.
- 40:38Speaker 1: St.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Peter, if you're honking for Ronnie, you have fans.
- 40:42Speaker 4: I know. I think it's because my outfit is so
- 40:43Speaker 4: cute today. Yes.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Well, we appreciate that. All right. Ronnie Henry there. Thank
- 40:48Speaker 2: you very much. Our digital coordinator out on the streets.
- 40:51Speaker 2: And look, he's stopping traffic. 102.7.

- 40:55Speaker 2: That's going to wrap it up for us.
- 40:58Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Ronnie's had such a successful day in San Pedro. We
- 41:00Speaker 2: decided to send him out to Wilmington tomorrow for more
