Speaker 1: and submit to God because he's forcing us to obey him,

Speaker 1: or he's forcing us to submit to him. We obey

Speaker 1: submit because we know he's real, We know he loves us.

Speaker 1: We know he transforms us, minus us, restores us, redeems us,

Speaker 1: But Friday we try to focus. We try to focus

Speaker 1: on the perfect person, the only perfect person who has

Speaker 1: ever lived on this planet Earth, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Speaker 1: and we try to authentically imitate him. The Bible says,

Speaker 1: imitate me as a imitate God, or as imitate Christ.

Speaker 1: The apostle said it. God says we are to be

Speaker 1: imitated as of God, and the Bible also says that

Speaker 1: we are going to be like Christ. Amen. So we

Speaker 1: imitate the most successful person who has ever lived, sinless person,

Speaker 1: the only sinless person who has ever lived on this

Speaker 1: planet without sin, Amen is the Lord Jesus. And that's

Speaker 1: an amazing thing. Church leaders. Church leaders are to be

Speaker 1: respected and obeyed. God puts all authority in place, so

Speaker 1: tough for me. It used to always be like what

Speaker 1: who do they think they are? Until I realize that

Speaker 1: have to realize that God put all authority in place.

Speaker 1: hate all God's creation. But if you love God, you're

Speaker 1: gonna love the authorities that are placed over you. I

Speaker 1: of people crazy and wrong, and they go like, no,

Speaker 1: there's no way I'm gonna have to love these people.

Speaker 1: You know. Well, God places all authority in place, and

Speaker 1: I beuld trust God anyway, and I never stopped God.

Speaker 1: And the testimonies that comes through amazing, amazing, and that's

Speaker 1: all God. That's how I know another reason why I

Speaker 1: know that God's real, and if he could use a

Speaker 1: person like me from what he took me out of

Speaker 1: a man, he could use anybody. All you have to

Speaker 1: do is obey and submit to his authority, to his love,

Speaker 1: to his grace, to his mercy, to his power. Allow

Speaker 1: him to transform your life. Allow him to speak into

Speaker 1: There's no pressure on church leaders. I know you have

Speaker 1: a lot on your plate and it's not enough, but

Speaker 1: it's a lot on your plate and God wants us

Speaker 1: to obey and submit and this is going to help

Speaker 1: some church leadership. Amen. If you're doing the things according

Speaker 1: to a holy spirit God, there should be no issue,

Speaker 1: no problem for people coming under your leaders You don't

Speaker 1: have to force it, you don't have to manipulate it.

Speaker 1: If you're anointed by God, you're going to get what

Speaker 1: the Word of God says you're going to have, and

Speaker 1: what you get, what you're gonna get. And if you

Speaker 1: take the responsibility of leadership the way God wants you

Speaker 1: to take responsibility of leadership, You're gonna thrive. Your ministry

Speaker 1: is going to grow, and God will supply all the

Speaker 1: needs for in the ministry as well, as long as

Speaker 1: you're in the will of God. Obey and submit today

Speaker 1: your spiritual leaders and submit to them, recognizing their authority

Speaker 1: over you. And that takes humility to humble yourselves and

Speaker 1: be like, Okay, this person was placed by God over me,

Speaker 1: So I'm going to submit to them because I recognize

Speaker 1: their authority over me, for they are keeping watch over

Speaker 1: your souls and continually guarding your spiritual welfare. As those

Speaker 1: who will give an account of their stewardship over you.

Speaker 1: If God allows you to have people under you, and

Speaker 1: you are a leader spiritually over a life, over a

Speaker 1: soul a man, don't take that for granted. Don't think

Speaker 1: that that's something that is a lightweight thing. That's for

Speaker 1: heavyweights a man. And God knows who he's putting into place.

Speaker 1: And the people who are forcing their way in leadership

Speaker 1: and forcing their way over people and forcing and manipulating

Speaker 1: over people. God sees that too, and he will handle

Speaker 1: his business with those type of people. But less stick

Speaker 1: to the scripture where it says, for they are keeping

Speaker 1: watch over your souls and continually guarding your spiritual welfare.

Speaker 1: As those who will give an account of their stewardship

Speaker 1: with grief and groans, for this would be of no

Speaker 1: benefit to you. So in other words, then don't be

Speaker 1: over the people that God has placed under them, and

Speaker 1: I'm not meaning like a multi level marketing situation that

Speaker 1: they're the boss and we're underneath the balls. None of that.

Speaker 1: We're talking about the kingdom principle. We're not talking about

Speaker 1: principle found in corporate America. We're talking about kingdom principle.

Speaker 1: God is always on top. Amen. And guess what. This

Speaker 1: is not a monopoly. This is not a pyramid scheme

Speaker 1: or Ponzi scheme or Sponzi scam. God says we will

Speaker 1: be like him. We're becoming more and more like Christ

Speaker 1: by way of Holy Spirit. And how his word teaches

Speaker 1: us and GUIDs is through so in this book, right

Speaker 1: here in Hebrews, God inspired this writer to remind us

Speaker 1: about submission, to remind us about obedience. He's more concerned

Speaker 1: with obedience more than sacrifice. Right. And we don't have

Speaker 1: to be forced into a role of serving. We serve

Speaker 1: because we know that we serve the Master, the King

Speaker 1: of Kings, of the Lord of lords. And whoever he

Speaker 1: he put them there. God put them there. That should

Speaker 1: help somebody right now. And this should really humble leaders

Speaker 1: to let them know that they have to give an

Speaker 1: account of their stewardship over us. Let them do this

Speaker 1: with joy and not with grief and groans, for this

Speaker 1: would be of no benefit to you. It won't be

Speaker 1: benefit to anybody. If you're being a mumbler, a grown

Speaker 1: or a complainer, you always bucking the system, trying to

Speaker 1: get out of under the leadership. The only way I

Speaker 1: would say, in my humble opinion, if you need to

Speaker 1: get away from some leaders is if they're preaching heresy,

Speaker 1: if they're preaching a different gospel, if they're not preaching

Speaker 1: the gospel of the Lord and Save to Jesus Christ,

Speaker 1: if they're not inspired by holy ghosts, to the Holy Spirit,

Speaker 1: they're just moving with manipulation and we're all kinds of

Speaker 1: trickery and wordplay. Okay, leave get out from that leadership.

Speaker 1: I don't think that's the leadership that God wants you

Speaker 1: to be under anyway. But because He placed them or

Speaker 1: allowed them to be in that place, He has an

Speaker 1: ultimate plan for them. And I think my personal opinion

Speaker 1: is that they always have a chance to repent right

Speaker 1: and we have to be willing to forgive leaders who

Speaker 1: are rogued and went rogued and went buck wild. They

Speaker 1: found some power and authority in the scriptures, and they

Speaker 1: use it to yield over that power over people who

Speaker 1: don't know any better, who don't get into the scriptures

Speaker 1: for themselves. Very dangerous if you're in a under some

Speaker 1: church leaders that whatever they say, you believe every single

Speaker 1: they say, rather than for you to be a Bahrean

Speaker 1: and check what they're saying according to the scripture. If

Speaker 1: it doesn't align with scripture what you're being told, what

Speaker 1: you're being taught, get out of there. You're not obligated

Speaker 1: to man right, you are obligated to the power of

Speaker 1: God's authority over your life. Amen. If you choose to

Speaker 1: be a Christ follower, you want to follow the ultimate authority.

Speaker 1: you know, I'll just trust them. You could trust me.

Speaker 1: You can trust any leader you want, Amen, But ultimately

Speaker 1: check up on me to make sure that what I'm

Speaker 1: saying is aligning with scripture. Just like I check all

Speaker 1: my leaders to make sure that what they're saying is

Speaker 1: lining up with scripture. That's a Bahrean spirit, right, the

Speaker 1: Bahreans and the scriptures. Hear what the apostle is saying,

Speaker 1: and check what he was saying according to the scripture,

Speaker 1: make sure that what he was saying and teaching lines

Speaker 1: up with the scripture. Not that they were checking what

Speaker 1: he was saying to be true, he was. They were

Speaker 1: want to really get into the Word for yourself, go

Speaker 1: to the main source, which is the Holy Scripture. The

Speaker 1: approach the scriptures like that, no leader could trick you

Speaker 1: into any kind of falsehood right, false prophecies, false teachings,

Speaker 1: an election season. But if we put everything in perspective
