- 0:45Speaker 1: on today and we're gonna break it down on where
- 0:47Speaker 1: is Clarity getting into the depth of what's going on
- 0:50Speaker 1: in DC. He of course is running for Senate. I
- 0:53Speaker 1: want to lead off the show though with a clip
- 0:56Speaker 1: and this will get into a little bit more detail
- 0:59Speaker 1: on some lummus and when we can expect the markup.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Take a look, when would you expect a mark app
- 1:06Speaker 3: of the Clarity Bill.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Well, now that we have we might have to consider
- 1:11Speaker 4: war funding. We are embroiled in how to deal with
- 1:16Speaker 4: the Save Act. I'm hoping we'll get to markup either
- 1:21Speaker 4: right before the Easter break or right after, and hopefully
- 1:26Speaker 4: I have a product out of the Senate Banking Committee before
- 1:30Speaker 4: the end of April. But the deeper it gets into
- 1:32Speaker 4: the year, Maria, the more challenging it's going to be
- 1:36Speaker 4: for us to get this across the finish line, which
- 1:39Speaker 4: is why I'm encouraging my Democrat colleagues to get us
- 1:43Speaker 4: their final product so we can move forward.
- 1:47Speaker 1: That is not necessarily the lummas. I have been watching
- 1:51Speaker 1: for the last few weeks, so I'm getting a little
- 1:53Speaker 1: bit shaky on does this go through? What are we
- 1:56Speaker 1: going to have to make in terms of concessions to
- 1:59Speaker 1: get this Clarity Act through?
- 2:00Speaker 2: If you look at the probability over on.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Poly market, I'll zoom in right there you can kind
- 2:05Speaker 1: of see over the past few days it has.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Been coming up.
- 2:08Speaker 1: But this has been pretty much flat over the last week,
- 2:12Speaker 1: up from its highest as sixty one percent in the
- 2:14Speaker 1: course dropping down here a little bit. Of course, this
- 2:16Speaker 1: has all been built around what has been going on
- 2:19Speaker 1: in DC. A lot of shakeups out there, including David
- 2:23Speaker 1: Sachs leaving, and we'll get into all that, but I
- 2:25Speaker 1: want to bring on John Deaton and have him come
- 2:27Speaker 1: into the show.
- 2:28Speaker 3: How are you, John, I'm doing great, Paul, Thanks for
- 2:31Speaker 3: having me brother.
- 2:32Speaker 2: You bet all right.
- 2:32Speaker 1: So first, just let our audience know you're obviously running
- 2:35Speaker 1: for Senate.
- 2:36Speaker 5: Well, I'm running for US Senate again, my second time.
- 2:39Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I ran against Elizabeth Warren. I was a no name candidate,
- 2:42Speaker 3: had never been in politics. As the first Republican to
- 2:46Speaker 3: get over forty percent in many years, I got one
- 2:48Speaker 3: point three five million people who voted for me, and
- 2:51Speaker 3: I decided to run again because Ed Marky, the other Senator,
- 2:56Speaker 3: is as far left as you can get, even a
- 2:59Speaker 3: finn center people in Massachusetts. He's been in Congress since
- 3:03Speaker 3: nineteen seventy six, he's eighty years old, and I've just
- 3:07Speaker 3: got a lot more fresh ideas. If I get the
- 3:09Speaker 3: same amount of votes that I got in twenty twenty four,
- 3:12Speaker 3: I win. We got polling that shows that I can
- 3:15Speaker 3: edge marquee out even in Massachusetts because of the independent voters,
- 3:19Speaker 3: and so I'm looking forward to making the case. I
- 3:22Speaker 3: think this race is going to be a lot more
- 3:23Speaker 3: competitive than people think.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Paul, Well, we're going to be looking forward to that. Obviously,
- 3:29Speaker 1: Clarity is on the front of our viewers and listeners' minds,
- 3:33Speaker 1: and one of the things that seems to be holding
- 3:35Speaker 1: this up, of course, is what is happening over in Iran. However,
- 3:40Speaker 1: Trump is now signaling maybe a two to three week rundown.
- 3:44Speaker 1: If the war ends in two weeks, in your opinion,
- 3:47Speaker 1: would Clarity be back on the docket.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Do you feel like that would be the case.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so, And I think Senator Loomis is
- 3:55Speaker 3: one hundred percent right. By the way, Ed Marky, my opponent,
- 3:57Speaker 3: voted against the Genius Act, He's going to vot against Clarity.
- 4:01Speaker 3: There's no doubt he's in the pocket of the big banks.
- 4:04Speaker 3: And so Cinna Loomis is right. And I had the
- 4:07Speaker 3: pleasure of talking to her not too long ago. She's
- 4:10Speaker 3: working her butt off man to get this done, trust me,
- 4:13Speaker 3: and I can tell you, Paul that she's on point. Soon,
- 4:18Speaker 3: especially comes summer, the midterms are going to consume everything
- 4:22Speaker 3: in this country, and so Iran. You know, it makes
- 4:27Speaker 3: it harder because you're trying to get funding for a
- 4:30Speaker 3: war that obviously the Democrats have been very critical of.
- 4:33Speaker 3: And so if we could in that and just get
- 4:35Speaker 3: them focused on this Clarity Act, then I think it
- 4:38Speaker 3: has a good shot. But if we get into the
- 4:41Speaker 3: summer months, it's just probably not going to happen.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Not going to happen.
- 4:45Speaker 1: We put out a poll right here, real reason Clarity
- 4:48Speaker 1: Bill momentum has died, and even Burnie Moreno said, this
- 4:51Speaker 1: is you know, time is what kills deals. I think
- 4:55Speaker 1: it's still the infighting side, and you can kind of
- 4:57Speaker 1: see it right there. Everybody agrees at least this point
- 5:00Speaker 1: that we continue to see that. When you consider that
- 5:04Speaker 1: and you look at the midterms, if we don't get
- 5:08Speaker 1: this done, like Senator Lummis was kind of alluding to,
- 5:11Speaker 1: beyond that, you think this is dead. Now, let's go
- 5:14Speaker 1: post midterms. Now, if in fact it does die prior
- 5:17Speaker 1: to midterms. Once we're past midterms, what happens to a
- 5:21Speaker 1: bill like Clarity? Is there a possible bipartisan solution?
- 5:26Speaker 3: I don't think. So I have to give you my
- 5:28Speaker 3: honest assessment. I hate to be that negative, but here's
- 5:32Speaker 3: the reason. Let's say that the midterms go very bad
- 5:37Speaker 3: for Republicans and not only does the House flip, but
- 5:40Speaker 3: the United States Senate flip Paul. If that happens, guess
- 5:43Speaker 3: who the chairwoman of the Banking Committee is in the
- 5:46Speaker 3: United States Senate.
- 5:48Speaker 5: It is Elizabeth Warren. We know, right, you know that
- 5:52Speaker 5: better than anyone.
- 5:53Speaker 3: And you know what are the chances that it's going
- 5:55Speaker 3: to pass with her on the Senate Banking Committee? You
- 5:58Speaker 3: know post you know January probably slim to none. And
- 6:03Speaker 3: so you know that's why you have this tension, right,
- 6:05Speaker 3: you have this yield situation, and you have you know,
- 6:09Speaker 3: what is the best. Do we want regulation by enforcement
- 6:14Speaker 3: to end at the SEC and to avoid a Gainstler
- 6:18Speaker 3: two point zero or do we.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Want you know, the yield?
- 6:23Speaker 3: And obviously that's a big, big issue for people.
- 6:28Speaker 5: I side on the thought of.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Another Gary Ginstler coming in and engaging in regulation by
- 6:36Speaker 3: enforcement is just going to chase everything offshore. It's going
- 6:42Speaker 3: to die, Innovation will die potentially here.
- 6:45Speaker 5: I hate the banks. Let me be blunt.
- 6:48Speaker 3: I think the banks are one of the biggest enemies
- 6:51Speaker 3: of the American people, and we can go down to
- 6:53Speaker 3: two thousand and eight financial crisis proves it. But at
- 6:57Speaker 3: the same time, I think we need something. Charles Hoskinson,
- 7:01Speaker 3: he makes valid points about yield and about the de
- 7:05Speaker 3: facto being a security for young projects, and the burdensome
- 7:10Speaker 3: of getting out of purgatory at the SCC, and of
- 7:14Speaker 3: course the criticism of passive yield not going to stable
- 7:18Speaker 3: coins for exchanges. Those things are valid criticisms. But if
- 7:24Speaker 3: we go back to gainst their two point zero, I
- 7:27Speaker 3: think that's the worst case scenario.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Well, and if you look at it right now, it's
- 7:31Speaker 1: a fifty two percent chance that Democrats do take the
- 7:35Speaker 1: Senate right there, we kind of see it, unless you,
- 7:37Speaker 1: of course, win a seat right there. John, If you
- 7:40Speaker 1: win a seat right there, that's going to flip red.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Maybe the Republicans get lucky and could hold the Senate,
- 7:46Speaker 1: but it would take races like yours to probably do it.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Eighty six percent chance right now that the Democrats take
- 7:53Speaker 1: the House, that right now is pretty much a foregone conclusion.
- 7:55Speaker 1: The House is going to turn, So likelihood is the
- 7:59Speaker 1: Senate might be the only stave off here in terms
- 8:02Speaker 1: of being able to save something like clarity still before
- 8:05Speaker 1: this presidency ends, other than him basically losing both House
- 8:09Speaker 1: and Senate, which would change the administration's strategy. I think
- 8:13Speaker 1: in general, if Trump loses both House and Senate, what
- 8:18Speaker 1: do you think the administration, which has been a very
- 8:20Speaker 1: pro administration, will do to try to recover anything in
- 8:24Speaker 1: crypto or do you think it's game over?
- 8:28Speaker 3: You know, you got to hope that it's not game over,
- 8:30Speaker 3: because you do have some Democrats, certainly the younger Democrat crats,
- 8:34Speaker 3: Richie Torres, Roe Connell.
- 8:40Speaker 5: They seem to want innovation.
- 8:43Speaker 3: They understand that we can't chase it offshore, that we
- 8:46Speaker 3: have to win the race.
- 8:48Speaker 5: But if we lose.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Both the subpoenas, the impeachments, the investigations, that's all going
- 8:55Speaker 3: to take place, is going to consume the Congress. And
- 8:59Speaker 3: it's why I said, Paul, I know a lot of
- 9:01Speaker 3: people Listen, I'm not a delusional guy. You know that
- 9:04Speaker 3: no one in Washington is centering around thinking that the
- 9:07Speaker 3: Senate seat in Massachusetts ins at play. But I'm telling
- 9:10Speaker 3: you we got polling one that has Me edging Marky
- 9:13Speaker 3: out by two points. The other has me down by five,
- 9:17Speaker 3: with fifteen point fifteen percent still undecided. This race could
- 9:22Speaker 3: come down to the balance of the Senate, and we
- 9:24Speaker 3: have a real shot because I don't have a primary opponent.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Ed Markey is spending millions holding Seth Molten out, so
- 9:32Speaker 3: I get to take the case to the independence. I'm
- 9:34Speaker 3: only saying that because your point of this race, my
- 9:38Speaker 3: race could be very pivotal for the US Senate.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Well, it could be.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And I think when you look at the administration, they're
- 9:46Speaker 1: a little bit or it feels to me like things
- 9:49Speaker 1: are getting out of control. You got Patrick Witt kind
- 9:52Speaker 1: of going on the offensive right here, and he's kind
- 9:54Speaker 1: of hitting on the point you're talking about.
- 9:56Speaker 5: It is.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I wonder what the future Democrat administration would look like
- 9:58Speaker 1: around DeFi protections. This is a big problem if we
- 10:02Speaker 1: get down that path around DeFi.
- 10:05Speaker 2: And you also have to look.
- 10:06Speaker 1: At the fact that David Sachs now stepping down very
- 10:09Speaker 1: interesting timing as we still don't have a strategic bitcoin reserve,
- 10:14Speaker 1: we don't have clarity. All of this real boiling down
- 10:18Speaker 1: to what At some point, I think Trump would have
- 10:20Speaker 1: to call this a loss if he does not retain
- 10:24Speaker 1: the Senate, at least on the Republican side going forward?
- 10:27Speaker 1: Do you think Sacks going out? Do you feel like
- 10:30Speaker 1: we Why why would he not just go ahead and say, yeah,
- 10:35Speaker 1: it's past my one thirty I just have to go
- 10:37Speaker 1: ahead and become an employee and continue this fight.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Why step away now?
- 10:42Speaker 3: Well, I mean, you know, I'm speculating. I question whether
- 10:47Speaker 3: or not the Iran War and maybe other disagreements with
- 10:51Speaker 3: the administration potentially could have I know that my assessment
- 10:57Speaker 3: of David Sachs was that he was not necessary a
- 11:00Speaker 3: proponent of the Iran war and striking how we did,
- 11:04Speaker 3: and so maybe that's the reason I'm speculating. Though certainly
- 11:08Speaker 3: you would hope that there would be a second appointment.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I'm not sure if he can be appointed again or
- 11:14Speaker 3: if we appoint someone else. We have to win the
- 11:17Speaker 3: AI race, we have to win the blockchain WASTCE, we
- 11:21Speaker 3: have to win quantum computing, all of that. But AI
- 11:24Speaker 3: is probably the single biggest technological race that we must win.
- 11:28Speaker 3: It isn't optional, and so that's why we can't have
- 11:32Speaker 3: fifty different states trying to handcuff the innovation. And we
- 11:36Speaker 3: need a federal oversight to be reviewing it. And so
- 11:41Speaker 3: one hundred percent there's a lot on the line, Man,
- 11:44Speaker 3: and I hope you take this act. I share Patrick Witz,
- 11:50Speaker 3: and I think Brad Garland House's position that we can't
- 11:53Speaker 3: let perfection get in the way of the good. It
- 11:56Speaker 3: disturbs me, Paul, that passive yield doesn't go to stable
- 12:01Speaker 3: coins for consumers. It really irks my core. But at
- 12:06Speaker 3: the same time, you know perfection can't get in the
- 12:10Speaker 3: way of good.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Man.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Well, I'm going to go into a lightning round with
- 12:14Speaker 1: you because I want our viewers and listeners to understand
- 12:17Speaker 1: kind of your position and again the rules of this
- 12:20Speaker 1: lightning round. Because this is our first political lightning round,
- 12:23Speaker 1: we'll be doing a bunch of these, I'm sure. Is
- 12:25Speaker 1: that just give us a yes, no or I mean,
- 12:28Speaker 1: you can, of course back it up. But if you
- 12:29Speaker 1: don't have the answer yet, because you don't have enough information,
- 12:32Speaker 1: or you're not ready to make a decision, that's fine too.
- 12:35Speaker 2: We're cool.
- 12:35Speaker 1: But we're going to lead off with the political candidate edition.
- 12:39Speaker 1: My first question is the Genius Act laid the foundation
- 12:42Speaker 1: for the stable coin yield ban. In clarity regrets for
- 12:47Speaker 1: supporting this yes or.
- 12:48Speaker 3: No no, regret it was necessary.
- 12:53Speaker 5: I'll leave it it's lightning round, so I'll keep it there.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Yeap, all right, let's go here.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Banning passive stable coin yields is a form of bailouts.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Yes, agree for sure?
- 13:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I know your position when it comes
- 13:07Speaker 1: to banks. If elected, you will teach at least twelve
- 13:12Speaker 1: Democrats how to download a wallet and get some stable coins.
- 13:16Speaker 5: Absolutely, yes, I look forward.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Is it possible or is it impossible to do that?
- 13:22Speaker 2: It is kind of curious.
- 13:23Speaker 3: I think a lot of it is generational. I would
- 13:26Speaker 3: skip the ones that are probably on dementia drugs and possible.
- 13:34Speaker 1: All right, you think it's possible. I like that, so
- 13:37Speaker 1: you get the right attitude going there. John Deaton would
- 13:40Speaker 1: publicly call out every Republican and banking committee who's siding
- 13:44Speaker 1: with banks on clarity.
- 13:46Speaker 5: Absolutely, I'll name them every day.
- 13:48Speaker 2: All right, there you go. I like that. Keep them.
- 13:51Speaker 1: You got to keep these people honest, John, That's the key.
- 13:54Speaker 1: If people will just stay honest and tell us what's
- 13:57Speaker 1: going on. I mean, that's the part I hate. They
- 13:59Speaker 1: tell us one thing and then do something else. It's
- 14:02Speaker 1: just crazy. Would John Deaton side with push comes to
- 14:06Speaker 1: stuff on clarity? Would you side with DeFi advocates.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Or Ripple and Coinbase.
- 14:14Speaker 5: On clarity.
- 14:15Speaker 1: That's a hard one. No, just on clarity. Yeah. To basically,
- 14:18Speaker 1: when it push comes to stuff on clarity, is it
- 14:20Speaker 1: DeFi or with what Ripple and coinbase is looking for?
- 14:26Speaker 3: Well, I think Ripple on Coinbase on opposite sides. I thought,
- 14:29Speaker 3: that's what that's why I hesitate.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Okay, that's a good point. That might be a good position.
- 14:35Speaker 5: Where would you side there?
- 14:37Speaker 1: Would you side with Ripple pro clarity, Coinbase anti or
- 14:41Speaker 1: the DeFi advocates saying hey save DeFi and self custody
- 14:48Speaker 1: all the above.
- 14:49Speaker 3: What I would do is I would vote for Clarity,
- 14:51Speaker 3: but I would file a couple amendments to it.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Okay, you find function.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Decentralization and and and other things, all.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Right, I like that.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Let's go over to this one right here, World Liberty
- 15:05Speaker 1: five USD one, Milania. This is one of the most corrupt,
- 15:09Speaker 1: uniquely massive scale and it should be put to an end.
- 15:13Speaker 1: We had Warren Davidson on that actually brought that up
- 15:16Speaker 1: on our channel about two months ago, prior to Clarity
- 15:19Speaker 1: getting in.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Do you think this is an issue?
- 15:23Speaker 5: I think it is a huge issue.
- 15:24Speaker 3: I think it's probably one of the biggest issues of
- 15:27Speaker 3: why crypto has become so partisan because of the perceived
- 15:32Speaker 3: conflicts of interest or grift or however you want to
- 15:35Speaker 3: characterize it.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it is.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Biggest risk to crypto market right now, tariff chaos or
- 15:42Speaker 1: our friend Yahoo.
- 15:46Speaker 5: What was what was the first answer?
- 15:48Speaker 1: Risk risk to crypto market? Tariff chaos, what's going on
- 15:53Speaker 1: in the markets, or what's happening? Of course, in Iran,
- 15:58Speaker 1: I'd say I ran, right now, there you go. Let's
- 16:03Speaker 1: get into this one right How would you fix healthcare
- 16:06Speaker 1: of the problem right now? Increase acis, medicare for all.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Where do you stand on this?
- 16:12Speaker 3: I have a huge I have a very specific plan.
- 16:15Speaker 3: I've been talking to Mark Cuban, We've been imming each other.
- 16:18Speaker 3: The first step is we got to break up the
- 16:20Speaker 3: three vertically integrated insurance companies that control over ninety percent
- 16:25Speaker 3: of our healthcare system PAUW. That's not true capitalism, that's
- 16:30Speaker 3: crony capitalism, and when you consider the subsidies that they
- 16:34Speaker 3: get from federal tax dollars, it's corporate socialism. Break up
- 16:38Speaker 3: those three companies and create real competition.
- 16:41Speaker 1: So this would be somewhat of a privatization. Is that
- 16:44Speaker 1: the angle it would take.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not medicare for all that that system is
- 16:50Speaker 3: never it's never going to happen, and you don't you
- 16:53Speaker 3: don't swap out an experiment with a completely government run system.
- 16:58Speaker 3: You know, you take what's worked and keep that and
- 17:02Speaker 3: get rid of what's not working. We need full transparency.
- 17:06Speaker 3: You and I can shop for a microwave all day
- 17:09Speaker 3: long if our microwave goes out, compare prices, but you
- 17:12Speaker 3: can't do it for drugs. You can't do it for
- 17:13Speaker 3: life saving drugs. We need expand telehealth transparency. Breakup to
- 17:17Speaker 3: three companies will have real competition, and we would drive
- 17:23Speaker 3: christ down, prices down immedia.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Yeah, so many of these companies are vertically integrated. They
- 17:29Speaker 1: own all the way from the pharmacy to the clinic
- 17:31Speaker 1: to actually the drugs themselves. So you're exactly right. Well, listen,
- 17:35Speaker 1: if you get through on the Senate run and you
- 17:40Speaker 1: want some airtime with Cuban on that topic, we'd love
- 17:44Speaker 1: to give you guys a talking point on that because
- 17:46Speaker 1: that's a big issue. I think that a lot of
- 17:48Speaker 1: voters are going to be very interested on.
- 17:50Speaker 3: For sure, Listen, Paul tell I can tell you healthcare cost, housing,
- 17:58Speaker 3: cost and energy prices are three things, three biggest issues
- 18:01Speaker 3: for all voters.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Not a single penny should be sent or continued to
- 18:07Speaker 1: be sent to Israel for the Iranian war efforts.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Where do you.
- 18:14Speaker 5: Stand until we get full transparency. I'm gonna have to
- 18:19Speaker 5: agree with that.
- 18:21Speaker 3: We've got to have transparency on what's happening.
- 18:26Speaker 5: You know.
- 18:26Speaker 3: My biggest criticism is that what you said, we're hearing
- 18:30Speaker 3: one thing and then we're hearing something else. You know,
- 18:32Speaker 3: we completely obliterated the nuclear operation in JUNI twenty twenty five,
- 18:38Speaker 3: but no, we had to immediately strike them now because
- 18:41Speaker 3: they were weeks away from a nuclear bomb. You know,
- 18:44Speaker 3: there's just so much uncertainty and confusion. We need transparency
- 18:49Speaker 3: and after that transparency, I could answer the question more educated.
- 18:53Speaker 2: All Right, there you go.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I will never take bank lobby money or apac.
- 18:59Speaker 3: They're never gonna offered me bank lobby money.
- 19:02Speaker 5: But the answer is no.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I'm they're like this guy's in no fly zone exactly.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm sorry, let's put that back, yeah right there, Yes,
- 19:14Speaker 1: I will never do that.
- 19:16Speaker 2: There we go.
- 19:17Speaker 1: There needs to be a massive cut to ice. Do
- 19:19Speaker 1: you what do you think about this ice situation right now?
- 19:23Speaker 3: Yeah, listen, Ice, it's because you have sanctuary cities that
- 19:28Speaker 3: are not cooperating the way it used to be, Paul,
- 19:31Speaker 3: is that if an illegal migrant or anyone was arrested
- 19:34Speaker 3: at a local jail, that information would be shared, their fingerprints,
- 19:37Speaker 3: their data would be shared with the FBI and ICE,
- 19:41Speaker 3: and then ICE would go pick them up at the
- 19:44Speaker 3: jail cell. Sanctuary cities have eliminated all cooperation with ICE,
- 19:49Speaker 3: and then that's forced them to go into the home
- 19:51Speaker 3: depot or the community. And so we just got to
- 19:55Speaker 3: go back to common sense. Look for the bad guys,
- 19:57Speaker 3: let's get the bad guys out, but let's not necessarily
- 20:01Speaker 3: create panic and fear in communities.
- 20:05Speaker 2: So I think your position is right.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I think a lot of people would say, well, if
- 20:10Speaker 1: you cut ICE the funding, it would solve that problem.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Do you think that would solve the problem if funding
- 20:17Speaker 1: we don't.
- 20:18Speaker 3: It's sort of like it's sort of like the argument,
- 20:20Speaker 3: well we defund the police because of issues. No, you
- 20:22Speaker 3: don't defund the police, you don't defund ICE. You just
- 20:26Speaker 3: you just create common sense in immigration politics. But again,
- 20:31Speaker 3: Congress hasn't engaged in immigration reform policy in decades.
- 20:37Speaker 5: We need people to do their job. Well.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Christy Nome is out. We're anticipating that Pam Bondi is
- 20:44Speaker 1: going to be next. But I want to know from you,
- 20:46Speaker 1: who do you think who would you fire first on
- 20:49Speaker 1: this administration?
- 20:50Speaker 2: Trump or all or excuse me, Cash or Pam.
- 20:55Speaker 5: Well, that's a coin toss.
- 20:56Speaker 3: I would I would fire Cash to tell first, only
- 21:01Speaker 3: because I think he lied under oath when he said
- 21:05Speaker 3: that Epstein documents did not show any evidence of child
- 21:11Speaker 3: trafficking to anyone other than Epstein.
- 21:14Speaker 5: That's a lie. It was under oath. He's got to go.
- 21:17Speaker 3: But at the same time, I wouldn't be heartbroken if
- 21:20Speaker 3: Trump fired Pambondy either, Buddy.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I think she's going for sure. We'll see how that goes.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Here's another one. What will most likely cause you to
- 21:29Speaker 1: lose this election? If you lose this one blaming Democrats
- 21:33Speaker 1: on the economy or aligned too closely with Trump.
- 21:37Speaker 3: In Massachusetts, it would be aligned too closely to Trump.
- 21:40Speaker 5: He has a sixty five percent disapproval rating.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Yeah, we've been watching the approval rating. It is not
- 21:46Speaker 1: looking good right now for the administration. After election day,
- 21:49Speaker 1: Democrats sweep the med terms. Here's what happens. Crypto crashes
- 21:53Speaker 1: even more, or the market rallies after gridlock.
- 21:56Speaker 2: What do you think.
- 21:59Speaker 3: I would pick the market rallying, because everyone's going to
- 22:02Speaker 3: expect the opposite in the market usually does the opposite
- 22:06Speaker 3: the opposite?
- 22:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, listen, these have been good questions. We're going
- 22:10Speaker 1: to get you back on the show. Good luck in
- 22:13Speaker 1: your Senate race. I think a lot of people now understand.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I want to bring that one thing up here again.
- 22:20Speaker 1: This is what John is going for. If we get
- 22:24Speaker 1: and I say we, I say crypto, which will mean
- 22:27Speaker 1: that we have at least a fighting chance in the
- 22:30Speaker 1: sense of crypto, whether you want to call it Republican
- 22:33Speaker 1: or Democrats. But if he ends up winning a seat
- 22:37Speaker 1: in the Senate, it will at least we'll have somebody
- 22:40Speaker 1: that knows what crypto is and kick it up there
- 22:43Speaker 1: in Congress and actually start educating people a little bit
- 22:46Speaker 1: more about how this stuff works. But John, thank you
- 22:48Speaker 1: so much for coming in today. We appreciate it.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Thank you for having me. Paul appreciate you.
