South Charleston High School’s football team is getting a tech upgrade that could change the game—literally. Fifty cutting-edge Riddell Axiom helmets, packed with sensors to track real-time head impacts, are headed to the field, thanks to a major donation from WVU Medicine, Riddell, and other partners. Coaches will also get access to Riddell’s InSite Analytics platform, turning impact data into actionable safety insights—and even a sideline device for live monitoring during games.
