- 0:15Well, I guess we'd better get going here. Third hour of the Morning
- 0:19Show with Preston Skat in the morning. It's August first, Tuesday Show,
- 0:23forty nine seventy eight. That's Grant Allen. I'm Preston Scott. This back
- 0:30again. US Congresswoman cat Camic, Florida's third congressional district. Okay, Congresswoman,
- 0:36I know you got a bolt pretty quickly here this morning, so we
- 0:38only got you for a couple of segments. How are you. I'm doing
- 0:41good. How are you doing. I'm doing fine. I've been watching your
- 0:44pugilism. It's been awesome to watch you, you know, get mma with
- 0:49some people up there in Washington. I think it's about day time that we
- 0:54started fighting with our elbows out. You know. You know, last week
- 0:58we had a gentleman named Hazu Srodriguez. You spent more than two decades on
- 1:02our southern border as a US Border Patrol agent. He comes on the program
- 1:04once a month. We talked about the wrist bands. Explain that to our
- 1:07listeners. So the cartels treat people like property, and to get across the
- 1:15Southwest border, you have to pay the cartels. And if you don't.
- 1:19They will take an appendage, they'll make an example of you. We've seen
- 1:22this time and time again. And how they mark you as their property is
- 1:26through these wristbands. Now, many of us think about these ristbands like when
- 1:30we were in our early twenties going to a nightclub before a bar to signify
- 1:34that we were twenty one or older. And that's kind of what they look
- 1:38like. But on each band it tells you what cartel you belong to,
- 1:41how much you've paid, and what number you are for the day. And
- 1:45I've been to the border nine times. Every time i'm down there, I
- 1:48pick up these wristbands because the minute people set foot on American soil they rip
- 1:52them off, and so over the last couple of years, I have picked
- 1:57these bands up and they're everywhere, hundreds of thousands of them, just littering
- 2:00the banks of the Rio Grand And when I presented it to HHS Secretary Basarah
- 2:07in a jar as that I keep as a reminder of the trafficking that's going
- 2:10on down there, he said that they look like candies, and I just
- 2:15couldn't believe it and ripped into him. How is it possible that he is
- 2:21still the head of that agency. You know, that's the question of the
- 2:27day. Given all his failures, whether it's the NIH gain a function grant,
- 2:31or the CDC and doctor Fauci, or the FDA and the baby formula
- 2:38shortages, and of course now we know about the eighty five thousand missing children
- 2:43on his watch. I don't know. I mean, the arrogance of this
- 2:49man is astounding, but his failures are absolutely greater than his arrogance, which
- 2:55is saying a lot. I think that the hearing that we did last week
- 3:01was pretty shocking to some. But that's what we've got to keep doing,
- 3:06is exposing the corruption that's happening in Washington. How important is the committee's work
- 3:12that Jim Jordan is heading, and I know that you're close with Congressman Jordan.
- 3:15We've had them on the show thanks to you. How important is it
- 3:19to uncover the corruption of Joe Biden in order to get at these other issues.
- 3:27Well, the work that we've done on the Weaponization Committee is critically important
- 3:31because it underscores a growing trend in Washington where you have political appointees become career
- 3:40appointees, right career employees of the federal government and agencies that seek to weaponize
- 3:46their resources and power for political gain and control. So we've seen that through
- 3:53censorship, We've seen that through the FBI and dj against parents, We've seen
- 3:59that through those two agencies against the Catholic Church and planting informants. That works
- 4:05had to be primarily the focus because if we don't get to the root of
- 4:13this whole deception that is playing out in Washington, where government comes in and
- 4:16tells you, oh, we're really here for your protection. You know,
- 4:20I'm here from the government and I'm here to help. Most terrifying words in
- 4:24the English language. If we don't get to the root of that and stop
- 4:28that behavior and then subsequently hold those who have engaged in this behavior accountable,
- 4:31nothing else matters. Because the American people allow folks in Washington to serve and
- 4:39to use their tax dollars because they have faced that those dollars and those people
- 4:44are doing it right. What we've been seeing now is, of course they
- 4:46haven't been. Nothing else matters. If we can't get to the root of
- 4:49the corruption and weaponization that's happening in Washington. The Morning Show with Preston Scott
- 4:57on News Radio one hundred point seven us LA She represents Florida's third congressional district.
- 5:10US Congresswoman Cat Chemick with us. Kat, Yeah, the trans issue
- 5:16you want to do have a very serious set of discussions, and your Democrat
- 5:21colleagues wanted no part of it. Yeah, yeah, you know, this
- 5:27is what's crazy is you know, we're we're in Washington trying to fund children's
- 5:31hospitals, and instead the Democrats don't want to fund children's hospitals unless it includes
- 5:38funding for experimental gender reassignment surgeries on pre pubescent adolescents. And I never in
- 5:46a million years so that this would be the hill that they die on.
- 5:48But man, did they show what they really care about in that hearing.
- 5:54As I said, you know, we're trying to address the physicians shortage in
- 5:57the country. We're about one hundred and twenty four thousand physicians short. And
- 6:02we had every accusation leveled at us. You know that we're cruel, that
- 6:05we don't understand, And I said, you know, quite plainly, you're
- 6:10right, I don't understand how these surgeries work. I am not a doctor.
- 6:13I don't have a science background, so I would defer to the experts.
- 6:16Let's listen to a two minute, seventeen second interview by a doctor from
- 6:20your side, by the way, a Democrat who outlines exactly what is all
- 6:27entailed in these surgeries, what is involved, and they refuse to have it
- 6:31played in the hearing without seeing it first. Once they saw it, they
- 6:35realized how damaging it was because he outlined just how experimental these surgeries are,
- 6:42and so they out of protests, walked out of the hearing during my line
- 6:46of questioning. So, I mean, I think that that just shows how
- 6:49radical the progressive left has become. I mean, the Democrats are not the
- 6:55Democrats of JFK. You know, they are full blown Bernie Sanders. Even
- 6:59for other than Bernie, I would surmise, we have just one, and
- 7:03I say we have won. The Supreme Court corrected Row versus Wade, pushed
- 7:09it down to the states. States can now enact legislation one way or the
- 7:13other. Do you see that as the end for transgendered surgeries from on miners?
- 7:18Or is their federal legislation needed to protect children in rogue states that will
- 7:25allow kids to be mutilated before they could even understand what's happening. You know,
- 7:31it's interesting because I've had people since that hearing approached me and say,
- 7:35I can't believe you want to tell what people want to do with their lives.
- 7:39I said, think about this. You have to be eighteen to vote,
- 7:44eighteen to join the military. You have to be twenty five to rent
- 7:49a car, twenty one to drink alcohol. I mean, all these things
- 7:53we have in place. You have to be eighteen to get a tattoo,
- 7:56and now we're allowing ten year olds and nine year old the ability to say,
- 8:01you know, I like playing sports and I like wearing boys clothes,
- 8:05so that means I'm a boy. You know, it's no. I mean,
- 8:09that's ridiculous. I think that if you are an adult and it's on
- 8:13your time, do whatever you want, the taxpayers should not be liable for
- 8:16it, and you should be a legal adult in order to make that decision.
- 8:20But I think that you have parents that have bought into this ridiculous notion
- 8:26that these children, if they're not granted this experimental non binary experienced surgery,
- 8:33that they are going to somehow be suicidal. It's called dysphoria. Even the
- 8:39medical experts, and I'm using air quotes, experts doing these surgeries are talking
- 8:46about this being gender dysphoria, that dysphoria exists in your mind, not in
- 8:50your body. And so for these kids, I think that, particularly when
- 8:56it comes to the taxpayer funded hospitals that are invested in these children's hospitals and
- 9:01facilities, there should be nothing of the sort like that going on. These
- 9:05are the Franken Fine experiments that we will never be able to figure out what
- 9:09the long term impacts are if we don't, if we don't take a step
- 9:15back and really recognize the damage it's being caused. Cat, I appreciate the
- 9:18time. I know you got a bolt before you leave. I'm just gonna
- 9:22I'm just gonna lay this on you, and you just ruminate on this.
- 9:24Okay, Okay. Our scheduled visit next month is on my five thousandth show.
- 9:33Oh I'm just saying. I'm just saying, fate has intervened and you're
- 9:39scheduled to be my guest, and it would hurt my heart to no end
- 9:46if we can't visit for for that morning. I'm just saying, Okay,
- 9:52I will tell the team under no circumstances. You tell Kevin Hearty, I'm
- 10:01off that morning for those fifteen minutes. You got it, I will be
- 10:05there. What's gold on radio? Thanks? Have a good day, all
- 10:11right? US Congresswoman catchmock with us. I just had to throw that out
- 10:16there. Just get it, get ahead, I just think, get a
- 10:18hand to her. I'm gonna do a normal show, folks. I'm not
- 10:22just just I'm just telling you now. Seventeen minutes after the hour,
