- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's get into it today. We've got some major news
- 0:02Speaker 1: for you, and of course this is all brewing around
- 0:04Speaker 1: Clarity and this weekend could actually signal something huge for
- 0:09Speaker 1: the market. We're going to break it all down for you.

- 0:36Speaker 1: to give you a one hundred dollars funding reward just
- 0:38Speaker 1: to get started. So let's get going into the day.
- 0:41Speaker 1: It is a big one right here. The White House
- 0:44Speaker 1: set the date, and of course we've known this date
- 0:47Speaker 1: has been coming. But the difference now is there seems
- 0:50Speaker 1: to be a acceleration moving toward Clarity by March first,
- 0:55Speaker 1: and it is very clear that they are on qu
- 0:58Speaker 1: to get this done, so much so that we're starting
- 1:00Speaker 1: to see very interesting things come out of these meetings.
- 1:04Speaker 1: One of the things that Eleanor hit on right here.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Sources say there was a notable difference today. The White
- 1:10Speaker 1: House took the lead in driving the discussion rather than
- 1:12Speaker 1: letting crypto firms and the banks steer the discussion as
- 1:16Speaker 1: in prior meetings. So you probably saw me tweet about
- 1:18Speaker 1: this last night. I was on the phone with the
- 1:20Speaker 1: several of our DC sources. This was the exact sentiment
- 1:23Speaker 1: that they talked about, which is that the White House
- 1:26Speaker 1: is putting pressure on the banks. Now many people are saying, well,
- 1:29Speaker 1: this means that a potential solution has been resolved between
- 1:34Speaker 1: the two industries. This is the question mark that everybody's asking.
- 1:38Speaker 1: It's getting so heated though, that we are starting to
- 1:41Speaker 1: see that there is going to be an additional meeting
- 1:44Speaker 1: on this weekend. Here's the thing that's interesting, extra nugget.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I agree with this. They're going to have to turn
- 1:50Speaker 1: their phones over during the meeting. That means we are
- 1:53Speaker 1: getting down to the brass tacks of what matters in
- 1:57Speaker 1: this market, probably in the sense that no one can
- 1:59Speaker 1: front run what's getting ready to come out of DC.
- 2:02Speaker 1: So whether you believe it's going to happen or it's
- 2:05Speaker 1: not going to happen. How the market plays into this
- 2:08Speaker 1: is going to be huge, because many people think that
- 2:12Speaker 1: this is priced in. If you look at the current polymarket,
- 2:16Speaker 1: it spiked yesterday up to eighty two percent and then
- 2:20Speaker 1: retraced today down to where we're holding right now at
- 2:24Speaker 1: time of recording at around sixty nine percent. As a
- 2:27Speaker 1: chance of passing in twenty six I think there's a
- 2:30Speaker 1: lot of things brewing. There's a lot of information that
- 2:34Speaker 1: I think is playing into the market to create some
- 2:38Speaker 1: dynamic pressure. And what I mean by that is it
- 2:40Speaker 1: there could actually be some misinformation coming out of the
- 2:43Speaker 1: markets to try to either get the markets to respond
- 2:47Speaker 1: to it, or they just don't want to play their
- 2:50Speaker 1: hand just yet. For many reasons. It could affect stock
- 2:52Speaker 1: prices on banks. There's all sorts of things that could
- 2:55Speaker 1: play into this going into it and the Clarity Act passing.
- 3:00Speaker 1: People think that it's baked into Bitcoin's price. Some people
- 3:03Speaker 1: say this. I am not one of those people. I
- 3:06Speaker 1: do not agree that that is what's happening right now.
- 3:08Speaker 1: So Anthony is asking the question, what do you guys
- 3:11Speaker 1: think do you think it's baked in? Just put yes
- 3:13Speaker 1: or no down in the comments below. I'd like to
- 3:16Speaker 1: get your input. I want to go to a clip
- 3:18Speaker 1: real quick, because this clip is getting into someone who
- 3:20Speaker 1: says that the Clarity Act will not pass. Take a look.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I actually think the answer is the bill's not going
- 3:27Speaker 2: to pass.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:29Speaker 2: When you get into political fights between large constituencies who
- 3:33Speaker 2: have mutually oppositional views, they tend to just not happen.
- 3:38Speaker 2: So look at the Credit Card Choice Act, which has
- 3:41Speaker 2: been a huge fight between the pavements companies and the retailers.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It is just paralyzed all kinds of financial legislation because
- 3:48Speaker 2: the Senate does not want to get up there and
- 3:50Speaker 2: give them middle finger to visa MasterCard in the banks.
- 3:53Speaker 2: But they also don't want to get up there and
- 3:54Speaker 2: give the middle finger to like Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.
- 3:58Speaker 2: So what do they do. They just back out of
- 3:59Speaker 2: the room.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 4:00Speaker 2: It's like the Homer backing into the hedge meme. Oh okay,
- 4:08Speaker 2: so you're just not going to have anything happen. Oh man, Austin,
- 4:12Speaker 2: I hope that's not the case. I hope you're wrong.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I hope I'm wrong too.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I think Austin is wrong, so his hope is going
- 4:21Speaker 1: to happen. I think that this is not priced into
- 4:24Speaker 1: the markets right now. There's too much uncertainty. There's a
- 4:28Speaker 1: lot of other things that are happening of course as well.
- 4:31Speaker 1: That is, I think we'll play along with this. Tim Warren,
- 4:34Speaker 1: who's on our channel quite a bit. He says, Hey,
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I've been saying the bitcoin and crypto I
- 4:37Speaker 1: have already priced in. The Clarity Act is one of
- 4:39Speaker 1: the lowest IQ takes I've seen a long term. I
- 4:41Speaker 1: agree with you right now in this one, Tim, I
- 4:44Speaker 1: think we are in a position where markets could respond
- 4:47Speaker 1: in a very big way. And I think the fact
- 4:50Speaker 1: that we're hearing that meetings are happening over the weekend
- 4:53Speaker 1: with no phones, people are thinking the very exact same
- 4:57Speaker 1: thing as well. All Right, so let's dive into why.
- 4:59Speaker 1: There's some ideas here of why it's not baked in.
- 5:02Speaker 1: And if you look at Genius Act as an example,
- 5:04Speaker 1: here's just a quick event layer of what happened after
- 5:08Speaker 1: the Genius Act was passed, and you'll notice Stripe of
- 5:11Speaker 1: course jumped in, also Zell jumps in. Just you know,
- 5:16Speaker 1: these are less than two months after fifty days on
- 5:19Speaker 1: Rails acquisition by Ripple, one hundred and sixty on Circle
- 5:22Speaker 1: and Ripple and Paxos and Fidelity receiving occ conditions where
- 5:27Speaker 1: Liberty five jumps in at one seventy three.
- 5:29Speaker 3: You get it.
- 5:29Speaker 1: The point is is the activity started after the Act
- 5:33Speaker 1: went through, and that is the point I think we
- 5:36Speaker 1: are in right now. Let's go over and we'll take
- 5:38Speaker 1: a look at the stablecoin chart here on the metrics
- 5:41Speaker 1: and I'm out here hovering around, you know, March or so.
- 5:44Speaker 1: This is pre Genius Act coming back in twenty twenty five,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and as you'll see here, okay, the stable coins are
- 5:51Speaker 1: starting to join the roster and start to jump in
- 5:54Speaker 1: and more and more coming in, and then of course
- 5:56Speaker 1: the passage of Genius takes place, and then boom, all
- 6:01Speaker 1: sorts of new stable coins start to happen, and the
- 6:04Speaker 1: volume starts to explode on stable coins as you can see,
- 6:07Speaker 1: just absolutely getting into the market. And that's why I
- 6:10Speaker 1: think we're in the same kind of scenario here with
- 6:12Speaker 1: Genius and Clarity. All right, so let's just take Ripple
- 6:16Speaker 1: for an example. After July eighteenth of last year, this
- 6:21Speaker 1: was their line list of acquisitions, so literally they had
- 6:24Speaker 1: everything fired and ready to go. And we've talked about
- 6:26Speaker 1: this on the show before, but Rail was purchased two
- 6:28Speaker 1: hundred million twenty days after ninety days it was g
- 6:31Speaker 1: Treasury Hidden Road ninety eight days closing that deal. This
- 6:34Speaker 1: is where we are right now. I anticipate we are
- 6:38Speaker 1: going to see major acquisitions or major in kind partnerships
- 6:44Speaker 1: with companies like Ripple and possibly Circle and others. Now,
- 6:48Speaker 1: remember Ripple tried to acquire Circle. I think Ripple might
- 6:52Speaker 1: actually go after a major and I'm talking about well
- 6:55Speaker 1: beyond the value all because of what's going on in
- 6:58Speaker 1: the market right now. And I'll explain a little bit
- 7:00Speaker 1: more on this really quick. Before I do that, I
- 7:03Speaker 1: want to show you a clip because this is garling
- 7:05Speaker 1: House talking about this right now listening.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Last year, you poured on Bank of New York Mellon
- 7:13Speaker 4: as one of your custodians your stable coin. Correct, Yeah,
- 7:16Speaker 4: and you also have a conditional charter from the OCC
- 7:19Speaker 4: on the bank side. Would you buy a bank? Would
- 7:23Speaker 4: you team up with a bank in a way because
- 7:25Speaker 4: you have forty two hundred in the country.
- 7:28Speaker 3: I'm on a dodge part of your question. I figured
- 7:31Speaker 3: you would.
- 7:33Speaker 1: We want stable coins to impact in a positive way corporates, banks,
- 7:38Speaker 1: what have you. And I'm gonna skip the question were
- 7:40Speaker 1: we able to buy a bank there are customers. Excuse me,
- 7:44Speaker 1: all right, guys, let's just be honest here. You saw
- 7:46Speaker 1: the smile on garling House's face. He knows what's up.
- 7:49Speaker 1: This is going to be an acquisition zone for Ripple.
- 7:52Speaker 1: The likelihood of them going into the banking business in
- 7:55Speaker 1: a big way now. Also one of the names mentioned
- 7:57Speaker 1: in that bny Mellon one of their major custodians. This
- 8:01Speaker 1: could get big very quickly, especially once clarity. It's also
- 8:05Speaker 1: why you've seen garling House come out in public and
- 8:10Speaker 1: say we just need to get this through because it's
- 8:13Speaker 1: likely there is a major trigger about to pull for
- 8:18Speaker 1: what's going to happen with Ripple. Here's another example of this,
- 8:21Speaker 1: when you get clarity out of an industry. When Polymarket
- 8:24Speaker 1: essentially was able to get clarity on their own industry,
- 8:28Speaker 1: what happened. You had the Ice of course investing two
- 8:31Speaker 1: billion into Polymarket. This was a major move going into it.
- 8:35Speaker 1: And let's take further into this. I want to show
- 8:37Speaker 1: you something right here that I think a lot of
- 8:39Speaker 1: people are sleeping on. The sec Justice defined a new
- 8:43Speaker 1: model for stable coins, where right now it's a two
- 8:46Speaker 1: percent haircut on stable coins as opposed to the one
- 8:50Speaker 1: hundred percent. Let me show you something right here. This
- 8:53Speaker 1: was Hester Paris explaining this that the SEC staff will
- 8:57Speaker 1: not objective broker dealers apply haircut rather than a punitive
- 9:02Speaker 1: one hundred percent haircut on proprietary positions in qualifying stable
- 9:07Speaker 1: coins when calculating netcapital meaning balance sheet. This is huge.
- 9:12Speaker 1: It is a much bigger deal than it sounds, and
- 9:15Speaker 1: it could reframe the entire market going forward. So from
- 9:20Speaker 1: what I was just showing you there, these are all
- 9:23Speaker 1: kind of under the radar policies that happened after Genius Act.
- 9:28Speaker 1: All of these are being implemented now. They're going to
- 9:30Speaker 1: have big ripples in the market, for sure. The likelihood
- 9:35Speaker 1: is it's going to continue, but at a much more
- 9:37Speaker 1: accelerated pace when Clarity goes through. So be on the lookout.
- 9:40Speaker 1: These are the kind of things that are these hidden
- 9:42Speaker 1: little nuances that only the bank architects understand what it
- 9:47Speaker 1: really means in the underlying markets of where crypto and
- 9:51Speaker 1: tradfi are going to converge. So you watch it. Speaking
- 9:55Speaker 1: of converging, here's a good example right here. This is
- 9:58Speaker 1: the Federal Reserve. Guys, that's the Federal Reserve saying that
- 10:02Speaker 1: Calshie and the rise of macro markets are now here
- 10:06Speaker 1: predictive markets offer a new let me zoom in on
- 10:08Speaker 1: that for you guys, a new market based approach to
- 10:11Speaker 1: measuring macro expectations in real time. They're evaluating now prediction
- 10:17Speaker 1: market implied forecast from Calshie and basically applying this to
- 10:21Speaker 1: what they're doing right now because it is overseen by
- 10:25Speaker 1: who the CFTC. You get this hopefully in the way
- 10:29Speaker 1: that I'm explaining it, in the sense that this is
- 10:32Speaker 1: going to be much bigger as we start to see
- 10:35Speaker 1: many of these major organizations implement what's going to come
- 10:39Speaker 1: out of clarity. So this could get kind of crazy.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Just the movement that we saw right there with the
- 10:46Speaker 1: Federal Reserve and calsheen activated some of the market shills
- 10:51Speaker 1: that are out there, and one of them you will
- 10:53Speaker 1: recognize him. It's Chris Christie. Take a look at what
- 10:56Speaker 1: he had to.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Say, Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christy. He's been out
- 10:59Speaker 5: side spoken on the rights of states to regulate sports
- 11:02Speaker 5: gambling and quick disclosure. We should tell you that CNBC
- 11:05Speaker 5: and CALSHI have a commercial relationship that includes CNBC having
- 11:08Speaker 5: a minority investment in that company, and of course we
- 11:11Speaker 5: run lots of different Calshi. Yeah, we do data on
- 11:15Speaker 5: our screen and discuss it.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Good morning. You know. This is a fight that I
- 11:19Speaker 3: started in twenty twelve. They're violating laws in all fifty states.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Utah.
- 11:23Speaker 3: We don't want it. They're saying, too bad, you're going
- 11:25Speaker 3: to get it anyway. I have nothing against Calshier. Probably
- 11:28Speaker 3: market register, get licensed, they pay your tax.
- 11:31Speaker 5: I'd say they're not. All those states have not.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Filed suits so yet not all, but it's coming.
- 11:35Speaker 5: What do you think is driving this gook?
- 11:37Speaker 3: I think there's lobbying money involved. A huge amount of cash.
- 11:40Speaker 5: You are though, being paid by the Gaming Association, which
- 11:45Speaker 5: represents the interests of those who have already followed the
- 11:49Speaker 5: state path.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Okay, guys, let me kind of explain this right here.
- 11:53Speaker 1: So Chris Chrissy, big proponent of the gaming industries, we
- 11:56Speaker 1: know that the gaming industries are at sheer threat of
- 12:00Speaker 1: what's going on with it polymarket.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Now.
- 12:02Speaker 1: The CFTC has come directly out Mike sieg Ceiling came
- 12:06Speaker 1: on the other day and said we are going full
- 12:08Speaker 1: guns ablazing at any state who tries to override our
- 12:13Speaker 1: basically rights to dictate where this market is going. Chris
- 12:16Speaker 1: Christi just got his head handed to him.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Now.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Remember though that CNBC is also a major partner of Kyushi,
- 12:23Speaker 1: so there are equal narratives being played out on both sides.
- 12:27Speaker 1: But I think the corner stone of what's going on
- 12:30Speaker 1: right now is where the CFTC's position is, and that
- 12:33Speaker 1: is they're going to go after states that try to
- 12:35Speaker 1: dictate new rules in this market. This is going to
- 12:38Speaker 1: get big. Let me go to something that just kind
- 12:40Speaker 1: of shows you where the market was. This was a
- 12:42Speaker 1: year ago we did this video. This is a Biden
- 12:45Speaker 1: judge that actually absolutely destroyed Senator Warren in reference to
- 12:50Speaker 1: the legality of prediction markets and that they are legal.
- 12:54Speaker 1: This was already been ruled on, already done. Chris Christie
- 12:58Speaker 1: is basically shilling out there for the gaming industry. He's
- 13:02Speaker 1: going to lose prediction markets, I think are here to say,
- 13:04Speaker 1: and the CFTC is going to run this one going forward.
- 13:07Speaker 1: One last thing I want to show you here, just
- 13:09Speaker 1: to kind of I'm zoomed up on this. Calshi's congressional
- 13:12Speaker 1: control contracts do not involve activity that is unlawful against
- 13:18Speaker 1: any federal or state law. This is the thing that
- 13:21Speaker 1: they are all trying to fight. This is where the
- 13:22Speaker 1: states are trying to come in and say this is
- 13:24Speaker 1: not Obviously this has already been ordered by a United
- 13:27Speaker 1: States District judge. So I think the CFTC is in
- 13:30Speaker 1: a good position. Why do I say all this because
- 13:33Speaker 1: these are the kind of things that are going to happen,
- 13:36Speaker 1: but now much more frequently in a lot more areas
- 13:40Speaker 1: of the finance system when clarity goes through, so being
- 13:44Speaker 1: baked in, not even near, and the fact that we
- 13:47Speaker 1: have this happening this weekend. Be ready, guys, this one
- 13:51Speaker 1: is going to be huge. If you liked this video,
