- 3:55Speaker 1: How did you come up with that? That title? That not, man.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I love thrillers and horror, and I said that I
- 4:07Speaker 3: wanted to center something around that, mostly thrillers, and so
- 4:12Speaker 3: I said, you know, I like scorpions, and I thought
- 4:18Speaker 3: about vicious and I'm like, I think I'm gonna go
- 4:22Speaker 3: with Vicious Ink. Because when I first published the book Scandalous,
- 4:29Speaker 3: I went under this company called Erotic Ink, and so
- 4:33Speaker 3: I said, well, I'm just going to Vicious Ink Publications.
- 4:37Speaker 3: And so that's how I come up with the name,
- 4:39Speaker 3: because I like thrillers and horror.

- 5:44Speaker 1: I'm tired of romance. I hate static too.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Yeah, is it my end?
- 5:58Speaker 4: I think it might be. Yeah, Okay, I think we're
- 6:09Speaker 4: good now because I'm not y'all know technical difficulties. It
- 6:14Speaker 4: wouldn't be a show that you wouldn't have a technical difficulty.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Quiet. On my hand, I have not had it's quiet.
- 6:24Speaker 6: Yeah, seems sound Yeah, you sound like a robot.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I'm can you hear me now?
- 6:45Speaker 3: You sound like a robot?
- 6:48Speaker 4: Okay, okay, you guys. So what I am doing right now?
- 7:20Speaker 4: I'm going to a different microphone. If you would give
- 7:26Speaker 4: me two minutes, I would be right back.
- 7:36Speaker 3: I don't have it anymore.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Okay, can you hear me now?
- 7:54Speaker 3: Yes?
- 7:55Speaker 1: Okay? Do you still hear a statics? Yes?
- 8:00Speaker 3: Well, whenever you talk.
- 8:08Speaker 1: How about this?
- 8:11Speaker 3: I can hear.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Still a static?
- 8:16Speaker 7: Now?
- 8:17Speaker 4: Okay, you guys, I think I have officially bloomed my laptop,
- 8:23Speaker 4: speaking just cursonally.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But I have an earpiece and so we're good. So Aliyah,
- 8:37Speaker 1: she has.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Wanted the perfect manatory. When you started your what did
- 8:44Speaker 4: you do when you're many?
- 8:46Speaker 1: May you married? Hate your kids? Why said that?
- 8:58Speaker 3: Again? The static came up?
- 9:00Speaker 1: M okay, king him now, Yes, well it's sad, but
- 9:11Speaker 1: go ahead. Mh. That's How would you describe the character
- 9:28Speaker 1: alive in your New York?
- 9:33Speaker 3: You said, how would I describe Elia?
- 9:36Speaker 1: Mm hmmm.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Mmm. I would say the character is shy, uh, the
- 9:52Speaker 3: strained before before he's developed confidence.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so you're saying that the man that she married
- 10:09Speaker 2: does not like her kids?
- 10:15Speaker 1: How now, how and why would you make your character
- 10:22Speaker 1: so meaning that she's looking for ants.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Every time you s Staddy comes over?
- 10:29Speaker 1: I can't understand.
- 10:43Speaker 5: Yeah, h all right, is this better?
- 11:12Speaker 1: It's it's a static, but I can hear. Okay, So
- 11:18Speaker 1: tell us a little bit on why you became an author?
- 11:25Speaker 3: Why?
- 11:26Speaker 1: What why you became an author?
- 11:33Speaker 3: He said, why did I become an author?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Yes?
- 11:37Speaker 7: Ma'am uh h.
- 12:04Speaker 3: I oh, okay, you read me, because I still here
- 12:16Speaker 3: to say. The reason why I became an author is
- 12:28Speaker 3: because I used to read books by Zamee and Norah
- 12:34Speaker 3: Roberts and it intrigued me. And that's the.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Reason why I became an author. I was really so,
- 12:46Speaker 4: you said you had fifteen books?
- 12:51Speaker 1: How long have you been.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Writing since two thousand and nine?
- 12:59Speaker 1: Two thousand and nine, that's when I that's when I.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Published my first book, Scandalous with It Writing Inc. Publishing.
- 13:08Speaker 3: And in twenty eleven she released that book to me.
- 13:13Speaker 3: So I published it again in two thousand and thirteen,
- 13:18Speaker 3: scandalousts at Erodica. So, yeah, since two thousand and nine,
- 13:24Speaker 3: I've been writing.
- 13:30Speaker 1: So what led you to become a publisher?
- 13:38Speaker 3: I wanted to handle my own I wanted to I
- 13:48Speaker 3: wanted to see how it how works in the publish
- 13:54Speaker 3: I saw how it worked in the writing, but I
- 13:58Speaker 3: wanted to see how it works doing publishing, actually publishing
- 14:04Speaker 3: the book. They taught me how to do that, so
- 14:07Speaker 3: I want to see both sides of it, and that's
- 14:12Speaker 3: the reason why I became a publisher with just my work.
- 14:19Speaker 8: So have there been advantages to being your own publisher
- 14:24Speaker 8: and being an author?
- 14:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I would say, So.
- 14:45Speaker 8: What are some of those advantages that you had that
- 14:49Speaker 8: she became a publisher versus just allowing someone else to
- 14:54Speaker 8: do it, which you say, freedom of your.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Work and being able to expe resk and.
- 15:01Speaker 8: Being able to not be limited to what you share.
- 15:06Speaker 9: Say that again, because we had statied, so I was saying, ma'am, I'm.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Meant for a second and let me see.
- 15:27Speaker 4: So with being a publisher, yeah, hold on, let me
- 15:32Speaker 4: mute you for a second.
- 15:34Speaker 1: M hm.
- 15:35Speaker 8: So with being a publisher, have it allowed you to
- 15:39Speaker 8: have advantages with just being an author and allowing someone
- 15:44Speaker 8: else to publish. Have you had any advantages of being
- 15:49Speaker 8: able to self publish? Now you have to unmute?
- 16:19Speaker 1: So how do I grow up?
- 16:24Speaker 10: Can you?
- 16:38Speaker 3: I'd raise up?
- 16:57Speaker 1: Okay? Can you hear me?
- 16:58Speaker 3: Now?
- 17:02Speaker 4: Apparently have some technical difficult here tonight. Not sure what
- 17:08Speaker 4: is going on, but there's some connection issue. We're trying
- 17:13Speaker 4: to get her out.
- 17:15Speaker 1: H We do apologize, but patrisa, so I am here?
- 17:28Speaker 1: Can you hear me? And I'm not hearing any statics?
- 17:33Speaker 1: So what I did? You, guys, I'm mean to do
- 17:35Speaker 1: with a do it? Okay?
- 17:40Speaker 8: Okay, kay, I'm not sure why, but there's definitely.
- 17:59Speaker 3: A next problem.
- 18:03Speaker 4: So you guys wait, and what we're gonna do is
- 18:06Speaker 4: we're gonna we're going to talk about some promotions that
- 18:12Speaker 4: we have are going on until she's able to come
- 18:14Speaker 4: back in. So this one is very exciting for me
- 18:19Speaker 4: and my little girl because we are a part of
- 18:22Speaker 4: this book Okay, this United.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Poetry Book of Authors. And the craziest thing about it
- 18:30Speaker 1: is the book is going to be on the billboard
- 18:34Speaker 1: in Times Square. Okay, y'all, I.
- 18:44Speaker 4: So am I gonna try to set up here tonight
- 18:48Speaker 4: like some of the other co authors. I'm gonna try
- 18:51Speaker 4: because I got some stuff I gotta work on for
- 18:53Speaker 4: you authors, and I with these blog posts, pre recorded interviews,
- 18:58Speaker 4: live interviews out God coming up. So I'm gonna be
- 19:02Speaker 4: up here doing some work tonight. But I am going
- 19:04Speaker 4: to be so excited because it's going to show every
- 19:08Speaker 4: six of the hours, so like twelve oh six, one
- 19:13Speaker 4: o six, two oh six, I'm gonna catch it. And

- 19:24Speaker 4: and all these other fabulous folk authors that you see
- 19:29Speaker 4: right here in the symbol around me. So, but this
- 19:35Speaker 4: is not a one time opportunity, you guys. Okay, We're

- 22:58Speaker 1: Why thrillers, I don't know.
- 23:02Speaker 3: I just just fascinates me. I always I'm reading up
- 23:07Speaker 3: on serial killers, and I just like, I just like
- 23:13Speaker 3: reading up on it. I just like looking at it.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I Mean, it just fascinates me.
- 23:19Speaker 4: So you're telling me, you be sitting up there looking
- 23:22Speaker 4: at what's the what's the oh, what's the one? We
- 23:25Speaker 4: didn't have the female serial killers who be killing their
- 23:28Speaker 4: husband and stuff.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Like that, true crime, m Court TV.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I I like some court TV.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Especially they come jumping over the little I like me
- 23:45Speaker 4: some quurt tea that have to make Yeah, so you
- 23:50Speaker 4: have written I would have considered I don't know if
- 23:53Speaker 4: you consider it, but I consider scandalous and down checked
- 23:58Speaker 4: urban fiction or yeah, and now you're into the thriller world.
- 24:06Speaker 1: How different or like? Which one was the hardest to write?
- 24:14Speaker 1: Neither one of them?
- 24:15Speaker 3: I mean, well, the thrillers, I I had to do
- 24:18Speaker 3: a little research before I, you know, just jumped into it.
- 24:25Speaker 3: But scandalous it was. It was easy. It was easy
- 24:29Speaker 3: for me to write scandalous Download diva my Master's Bed,
- 24:36Speaker 3: now that was what the erotica. It was easy for
- 24:39Speaker 3: me to write.
- 24:42Speaker 1: My Master's Bed. I haven't read that one.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Yeah, oh, I have to go back check that one.
- 24:51Speaker 3: So we have your.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Latest heartless bastard.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Right, Okay, this is somebody you do not want to
- 24:59Speaker 4: be part in the dark Alleywood, hands down.
- 25:06Speaker 1: What were you wanting to come through with this cover?
- 25:09Speaker 4: Because I know we talked about it and you said
- 25:11Speaker 4: you purchased it and then you made some changes to it.
- 25:14Speaker 4: What did you when you purchased it. What was missing
- 25:18Speaker 4: that you had to make the changes?
- 25:21Speaker 3: I mean if Jeff, basically I didn't. I just did
- 25:26Speaker 3: the front to it. I didn't. I liked it just
- 25:29Speaker 3: the way it was. I just did the the lettering.
- 25:35Speaker 3: I loved the cover. I just did the lettering.
- 25:40Speaker 1: But tell us a little bit, tell us a little
- 25:43Speaker 1: bit about this.
- 25:44Speaker 3: One by Hardest Bastard.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am.
- 25:49Speaker 3: I well, I got the name and the idea from
- 25:56Speaker 3: my ex Michael, and I I hate to put them
- 26:00Speaker 3: out there, but yeah, I did. It came from with
- 26:06Speaker 3: my daughter. She had a car wreck, and he didn't
- 26:12Speaker 3: want me to go to the hospital. He was like,
- 26:15Speaker 3: she grown, she a big girl, she can handle it.
- 26:18Speaker 3: And I'm like, I'm going to the hospital with my baby.
- 26:22Speaker 3: And I went to the hospital and when she saw me,
- 26:26Speaker 3: she just started crying. I mean, she was just booo.
- 26:30Speaker 3: And then I asked him could she come back and
- 26:34Speaker 3: stay with us until she's better, and he was like no,
- 26:41Speaker 3: And I was I was angry. I was angry. I
- 26:46Speaker 3: was already I had started writing a book. And he
- 26:50Speaker 3: did a little bitty stuff towards my kids, and then
- 26:54Speaker 3: he would say stuff and then it was like they
- 26:59Speaker 3: could come. But they could stay like an hour or
- 27:02Speaker 3: two and then they had to go home. So that
- 27:10Speaker 3: excuse me, that really it really made me mad. So
- 27:16Speaker 3: I was I made an exit to leave me. But
- 27:21Speaker 3: I finished writing the book, and I geared it towards him.
- 27:25Speaker 3: I thought about him the whole time I wrote that book. So,
- 27:30Speaker 3: and then I came up with the name Hartlin's Bastard.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Correct titled yeah, world, it's my child get in a
- 27:42Speaker 4: car accident and you want me to.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Put you in friend of my child?
- 27:49Speaker 3: Yeah? And she had just got out of it. She
- 27:54Speaker 3: had just got out of high school. She went out
- 27:57Speaker 3: of high school that long. And it just it just
- 28:01Speaker 3: made me mad. I was. I was angry.
- 28:07Speaker 1: I'm angry for you, and I don't even know y'all
- 28:11Speaker 1: that good.
- 28:12Speaker 4: But yeah, what you see see see God Jesus see Okay, I'm.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I'm back, treies come back.
- 28:21Speaker 4: So in what chapter? Did did the main character did?
- 28:27Speaker 4: Did the heartless?
- 28:28Speaker 1: I knew you had to kill them off? Please tell
- 28:30Speaker 1: me you killed them off?
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 28:34Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, thank you, thank you.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I'm sorry, mister Mike. I'm just I'm gonna be totally
- 28:45Speaker 1: honest with you.
- 28:47Speaker 4: You know, your character not saying you Okay, but I'm
- 28:51Speaker 4: not saying your character.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's reckless man. That's so.
- 28:58Speaker 4: What was the hardest part about writing this book? Having
- 29:02Speaker 4: it so close to your real life? It was the
- 29:06Speaker 4: hardest part about writing that.
- 29:09Speaker 1: That that line.
- 29:14Speaker 3: When the hardest part was writing it when he was
- 29:20Speaker 3: basically abusing the children, when he did stuff towards the kids.
- 29:29Speaker 3: That was that was kind of the hardest part about
- 29:33Speaker 3: the story.
- 29:37Speaker 1: How did you keep your composing and writing this book?
- 29:41Speaker 3: I mean, I, like I said, I was angry when
- 29:45Speaker 3: I was writing it.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I was mad.
- 29:48Speaker 3: I was mad.
- 29:50Speaker 1: So this book, writing this book was more like a
- 29:52Speaker 1: release for you.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Yeah. And when I finished that book, I left.
- 30:00Speaker 7: Hm.
- 30:01Speaker 4: I'm hearing there was this song said, I bet you
- 30:05Speaker 4: think this song is about you?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Who was that? That was Janney Jackson.
- 30:10Speaker 4: I'm totally hearing that in my head. If you can't
- 30:17Speaker 4: change anything in this book, what would it be?
- 30:23Speaker 1: And why when.
- 30:36Speaker 3: When they say le died, right.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Oh God, why are you kill live?
- 30:48Speaker 3: Why kill live? I didn't care they said that she died,
- 30:54Speaker 3: but in reality they had missed mishapped families. It was
- 31:01Speaker 3: another family. It wasn't her, it was another It was
- 31:11Speaker 3: another family that had the same last name, But the
- 31:15Speaker 3: doctor came one of the nurses came out and informed
- 31:18Speaker 3: them that Ale had died. But it wasn't her, it
- 31:23Speaker 3: was another family. They had a mishap. So I would
- 31:27Speaker 3: I would change that.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Okay, okay, So y'all saw that twist. Y'all saw that twist.
- 31:38Speaker 4: Now I'm visioning Leah sitting on an island like Tupac
- 31:41Speaker 4: with a drink.
- 31:42Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 31:42Speaker 1: That's what I'm seeing. That's when I see. So if
- 31:51Speaker 1: you could write, well, I know you're writing because you
- 31:55Speaker 1: are always writing. What was your next book about?
- 32:07Speaker 3: I have a book coming out called The Broken Wife.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Oh I'm liking that title.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Can you told us? Can you tell us a little
- 32:19Speaker 1: bit about it? Just a little bit, not much, just
- 32:22Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 32:24Speaker 3: I can read the synopsis for you.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Oh, that is wonderful.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Everybody sits still? Were having a guest reader tonight.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Go ahead?
- 32:34Speaker 3: Okay. The Broken Wife is a dark, gripping tale of
- 32:38Speaker 3: betrayal and revenge. When Unique discovers her husband Steve's affairs
- 32:43Speaker 3: with other women, the life she thought she knew shatters
- 32:47Speaker 3: becauson by rage and they desire for control. She takes
- 32:51Speaker 3: matters into her own hands, hunting, captivating, and confronting. Each
- 32:56Speaker 3: woman has fear and manipulation unfolds the tears between I mean,
- 33:01Speaker 3: the lines between justice and cruelty blur, revealing the chilling links.
- 33:08Speaker 3: One woman would go far too far to reclaim power
- 33:13Speaker 3: and expose the lies that torn her world apart. She
- 33:18Speaker 3: was betrayed, so she took control. Fear became her weapon,
- 33:23Speaker 3: and revenge her justice.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Jesus so I can bitterally see her killing off these
- 33:35Speaker 1: women that her husband had a fizz with me. Let
- 33:42Speaker 1: me ask you a questions. Do you get creative with
- 33:45Speaker 1: your killing scenes?
- 33:48Speaker 3: Yeah? I did with this book here.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Oh and when is this one coming out?
- 33:59Speaker 3: I don't know. Oh yeah, I'm just trying to.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 34:04Speaker 3: I know it's this year, but I'm thinking of Halloween,
- 34:08Speaker 3: but I'm not for sure.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Oh okay, I gotta ask. I gotta ask, what is
- 34:18Speaker 1: the craziest killing scene that you've ever done? You're don't
- 34:22Speaker 1: to tell us what book, but what's the craziest killing
- 34:25Speaker 1: scene you've ever done?
- 34:33Speaker 3: The craziest killing scene ever done? Oh, I'm gonna say
- 34:37Speaker 3: where she uh tied the woman to the chair and
- 34:42Speaker 3: she posed segment all over her and cut off her
- 34:45Speaker 3: hair and stuffed her mouth with rat poison.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Oh that's diaspolicle.
- 35:02Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Oh why I mean.
- 35:12Speaker 4: Your point ce mons or not, but you're giving a
- 35:14Speaker 4: rat poison too.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I wouldn't.
- 35:21Speaker 4: I never want to get on your bad side, so
- 35:33Speaker 4: I usually.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Do frank questions, So I'm gonna ask you some funk questions.
- 35:37Speaker 4: Okay, okay o loo, Jesus, I still can't get off
- 35:44Speaker 4: the rat poison and and pulling her hair, cut her
- 35:50Speaker 4: hair off? Please tell me about a weave them on
- 35:56Speaker 4: her hand.
- 35:58Speaker 3: No, it was her hair. She cut her hair off, says.
- 36:05Speaker 4: Okay, okay, all right, Oh lord Jesus, I'm catching a
- 36:16Speaker 4: visual and I'm trying to fight the visual and talk
- 36:19Speaker 4: to you.
- 36:20Speaker 1: But I love that. I love a book where the
- 36:23Speaker 1: author tells me something and I go straight in visual mold.
- 36:26Speaker 4: So that means you already have me and you have
- 36:28Speaker 4: captivated my attention. So now I'm gonna have to go
- 36:32Speaker 4: figure out why is she killed?
- 36:35Speaker 1: And I don't want to.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Ask if she killed dude, because she bet at killing
- 36:38Speaker 4: me day. You know, that's fun questions.
- 36:45Speaker 1: So you have the opportunity to write your next book.
- 36:52Speaker 1: With your favorite author. Who would it be and why
- 36:57Speaker 1: did you choose that author.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with T. Styles. I like her because
- 37:06Speaker 3: her writing is way beyond where I write. I love
- 37:12Speaker 3: her her writing way very crazier than word I write.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Hey, now I remember T Styles. Wasn't she Triple Crown
- 37:25Speaker 1: at first?
- 37:26Speaker 4: Mm hmm, and then she went to yeah, see, okay,
- 37:31Speaker 4: let me give y'all little baby readers a little little knowledge.
- 37:35Speaker 4: Triple Crown, we would say, is like one of the
- 37:43Speaker 4: god godfathers or one of the first premiere publishing company.
- 37:51Speaker 1: When it came to Urban Lid.
- 37:52Speaker 4: You had my Boyfriend, you had Palace, the Palace. There
- 38:01Speaker 4: were a lot of books. I remember opening the back
- 38:05Speaker 4: of the book. That's when you used to find the
- 38:06Speaker 4: next book in the back of the book, and you
- 38:08Speaker 4: can buy the next couple I used to make.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I used to copy the back of the book and.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Read through all of them, so to hit te Styles,
- 38:17Speaker 4: that's a classic mm hmm.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Okay. So my next question, id Channel got a copy.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Of your next book, okay, And it seems like it's
- 38:32Speaker 4: a perfect book because you have the wife killing everybody
- 38:35Speaker 4: and submitting and using rat poison and pulling out here,
- 38:41Speaker 4: So it works great for ID channel.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Who would you want to play that main character? And
- 38:48Speaker 1: the person has to read, listen, an R and B singer, Oh,
- 38:58Speaker 1: an R and B singer.
- 39:01Speaker 3: You know what I go with? I go with Brandy.
- 39:08Speaker 1: You go with Brandy? Like Brandy, she's.
- 39:12Speaker 3: An R and B singer, right, mm hmmm, Yeah, that's
- 39:18Speaker 3: the first one that come to mind.
- 39:21Speaker 1: You know what came to my mind? Right, Michelle? Because
- 39:26Speaker 1: she had.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, I could see her playing yeah yeah.
- 39:34Speaker 4: I can literally see her plane yeah yeah, yeah. And
- 39:43Speaker 4: I'm not talking about this love that this just real
- 39:49Speaker 4: Housewife of Atlanta Kim Michelle. I'm talking about that love
- 39:54Speaker 4: and hip hop king Michelle when she bopped the girl
- 39:57Speaker 4: in the head with the flowers.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Yeah, that's Michelle I'm talking about.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Yes, I can see. I definitely see Kay Michelle. She'll
- 40:06Speaker 3: be a great fit, she would.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Now, you gotta find somebody that's gonna be her suave
- 40:13Speaker 1: husband and have all the ladies. Who would that be?
- 40:19Speaker 3: I actually wrote that down. I would say Tom Hardy.
- 40:24Speaker 3: He played the villain bang in Dark Knight. Yeah, yes,
- 40:30Speaker 3: I see that, all.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Right, m And why did you choose him?
- 40:41Speaker 3: I picked him because his performance blend menace with intelligence,
- 40:47Speaker 3: makes him a memorial white male villain because you know,
- 40:54Speaker 3: Jordan is white in Heart's basketart.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Oh you did that. Mm hmm, you did that. You
- 41:11Speaker 1: did that.
- 41:12Speaker 4: So let me ask you a questions because that is
- 41:14Speaker 4: now also along with romance interracial relationships.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Mm hmmm. How is that is?
- 41:24Speaker 7: That?
- 41:24Speaker 1: Is writing for an interracial relationship different from writing a
- 41:30Speaker 1: relationship where both.
- 41:32Speaker 4: Characters are the same race. Is there any difference? No,
- 41:39Speaker 4: I don't think so. I mean, I mean maybe maybe, yeah, maybe.
- 41:50Speaker 3: I made one of those. I don't know. I don't.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I don't think so. But somebody else might think different
- 41:58Speaker 3: than what I what I do, But I don't think so.
- 42:02Speaker 4: Are you an author that wants to defy and wants
- 42:05Speaker 4: them to really know that and define that this character
- 42:08Speaker 4: is of this race and that character of that race,
- 42:12Speaker 4: or you're just white?
- 42:13Speaker 1: Oh well, life goes on. Is that.
- 42:19Speaker 3: I put it out there that he's white, you know,
- 42:23Speaker 3: and she's black. I made sure that they know they
- 42:26Speaker 3: knew that because on the cover he's white on the cover,
- 42:33Speaker 3: and yeah, but I made sure that I try that
- 42:42Speaker 3: before you.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Know, So, before we close out, what do you want
- 42:48Speaker 1: your readers to take from heartless faster if they if
- 42:52Speaker 1: you can choose one thing for them to take away,
- 42:55Speaker 1: what would it be.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Don't choose a man over your kids.
- 43:08Speaker 4: Okay, please believe me, never ever choose a man who
- 43:16Speaker 4: is right.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, you said it.
