- 4:01Speaker 7: letting us be a part of your story and your journey.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You're welcome. Thank you for allowing me to be on
- 4:07Speaker 1: your platform.
- 4:11Speaker 8: Well, for those of you who aren't familiar with the case,
- 4:17Speaker 8: miss Weekly is going to tell us a little bit
- 4:20Speaker 8: about what happened to her son and and afterwards, so
- 4:26Speaker 8: you kind of get a general idea I would ask you,
- 4:33Speaker 8: since the since the well, let's just start from the beginning.
- 4:36Speaker 8: Tell us what happened.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Okay, So on August thirteenth, which was the second day
- 4:44Speaker 1: of seventh grade, we dropped Tristan off to Western Middle
- 4:51Speaker 1: School and Frisco. It was his first well, first time
- 4:54Speaker 1: going to school a second day, and when I went
- 4:58Speaker 1: to go pick him up, he was not where I
- 5:01Speaker 1: told him to be. And that it took me past
- 5:06Speaker 1: forty five minutes to realize that my son had passed
- 5:11Speaker 1: out when unconscious and you know, the next thing, I
- 5:15Speaker 1: knew he was in an ambulance. So when I went
- 5:19Speaker 1: to go pick him up. I went to go pick
- 5:21Speaker 1: him up, it was like around three fifty five. School
- 5:23Speaker 1: let out at three forty five, and I told him,
- 5:26Speaker 1: since it was a new school, to be at the
- 5:29Speaker 1: front of the school and if he didn't see me
- 5:32Speaker 1: as soon as school let out, go ahead and go
- 5:34Speaker 1: to the tennis court. And the tennis court is literally
- 5:37Speaker 1: on the same it's like part of the school property.
- 5:41Speaker 1: So Tristan has never walked home. He has never straight
- 5:44Speaker 1: away from where I've told him to be at, so
- 5:48Speaker 1: I kind of knew something was off. As soon as
- 5:50Speaker 1: I got to the school, he wasn't there, Like, I
- 5:53Speaker 1: did not see him. So I went to the tennis court.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I didn't see him there. Then there's an elementary school
- 6:00Speaker 1: right across the street like a park. I even went
- 6:03Speaker 1: to the elementary school and got out the car to
- 6:06Speaker 1: go up the hill to see if I saw him.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I did not see him. So for forty five minutes
- 6:12Speaker 1: I drove, I did not leave that area. I called
- 6:15Speaker 1: home and asked my daughter if she could just check
- 6:18Speaker 1: the camera to see you know, I knew he did
- 6:20Speaker 1: not walk home, but just to see if they had
- 6:23Speaker 1: heard from him. So when it, you know, I had
- 6:26Speaker 1: sent emails to different people at the school that I
- 6:29Speaker 1: had connections with, and nobody said anything. So I went
- 6:34Speaker 1: ahead and I called nine one one. After forty five minutes,
- 6:39Speaker 1: and that's when, you know, I drove up to the
- 6:42Speaker 1: school and I saw an unknown black lady and I
- 6:48Speaker 1: asked her, was you know that my son was missing.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I was on the phone with nine one one. I
- 6:52Speaker 1: was on hold. I was told not to move and
- 6:56Speaker 1: just asked her if there was any kids left in
- 6:58Speaker 1: the building. And she asked me if my son played volleyball,
- 7:01Speaker 1: which there's not a boys volleyball team. But I told her,
- 7:06Speaker 1: you know, he did not play volleyball. He played soccer.
- 7:09Speaker 1: But it was the second day of school, there's no practice.
- 7:11Speaker 1: And she proceeded to tell me that, you know, there
- 7:14Speaker 1: was nobody in the school but volleyball girls, and she
- 7:17Speaker 1: walked off. She didn't say anything. I later found out
- 7:21Speaker 1: that she was actually the assistant principal of the school,
- 7:26Speaker 1: so that shocked me once I found out who she was.
- 7:29Speaker 1: The next day, but when the nine one one dispatcher
- 7:32Speaker 1: came on the phone, they said that they had the
- 7:36Speaker 1: police department, you know, some officers on scene that wanted
- 7:41Speaker 1: to talk to me because they found a kid and
- 7:44Speaker 1: they wanted to make sure, you know, to see if
- 7:47Speaker 1: it was my son. So when they dispassed me in,
- 7:50Speaker 1: the officers told me to describe my child. I let
- 7:53Speaker 1: them know, you know, he was a you know, a
- 7:55Speaker 1: black kid. I described what he had on, and the
- 7:58Speaker 1: officer just kept asking me, you know, can you please
- 8:01Speaker 1: describe his hair, and I'm like, if it's my son,
- 8:04Speaker 1: he can talk, like if he knows I'm his mother.
- 8:07Speaker 1: So he was like, you know, well, the kid we
- 8:10Speaker 1: have is non verbal.
- 8:11Speaker 7: Uh.
- 8:12Speaker 1: They thought this kid was literally in the sixth grade
- 8:16Speaker 1: or even younger. They thought he was an autistic kid
- 8:19Speaker 1: that couldn't speak. And they so I was like, oh,
- 8:22Speaker 1: that's definitely not my son. You know, he's verbal. They
- 8:26Speaker 1: was like, well, the kid is foaming at the mouth.
- 8:28Speaker 1: So they was like, you know, it could be your child,
- 8:32Speaker 1: but no, it's not because this kid is actually non verbal.
- 8:34Speaker 1: So before we got off the phone, you know, he
- 8:37Speaker 1: described his underwear and I mean, well, he called out
- 8:40Speaker 1: and said he had Batman underwear, and I said, oh,
- 8:42Speaker 1: that's my son. So you know, he gave me the information,
- 8:47Speaker 1: he told me I needed to rush to the scene.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Going to the scene, it was like a maze. And
- 8:52Speaker 1: I've been living in Frisco or this area for a minute,
- 8:56Speaker 1: and I've never seen this neighborhood. This is not somewhere
- 8:59Speaker 1: like you could just it was in the back. It
- 9:02Speaker 1: was probably a literally, I will say it was at
- 9:05Speaker 1: least close to like a ten minute drive almost, but
- 9:09Speaker 1: walking and running it was could be like twenty to
- 9:12Speaker 1: thirty minute walk, depending on your speed or whatever. So
- 9:16Speaker 1: when I got there, my son was already in the ambulance.
- 9:20Speaker 1: They wouldn't let me get close to him. So, you know,
- 9:23Speaker 1: the police officer kind of stopped me. And I don't
- 9:27Speaker 1: know what made me ask this question, but I asked,
- 9:30Speaker 1: where was my son's backpack? Because of course, you know,
- 9:33Speaker 1: this is an unknown neighborhood. He is, you know, I'm
- 9:38Speaker 1: trying to wonder how he got there. So I'm looking
- 9:40Speaker 1: for his stuff, you know, and I saw you know, witnesses,
- 9:44Speaker 1: So I'm like, you know, where is my son's stuff?
- 9:47Speaker 1: So the officer, hey, I spoke to the principal. They said,
- 9:51Speaker 1: your son dropped his backpack and he just his backpack
- 9:54Speaker 1: fell off and he just kept walking. So the facial
- 9:58Speaker 1: expression was like that don't make make any sense. And
- 10:01Speaker 1: I was wondering, how did you get in touch with
- 10:04Speaker 1: the principal so fast? I've been trying to get in
- 10:06Speaker 1: touch with her forty five minutes. I was told nobody
- 10:09Speaker 1: was at the school, so he knew I was about
- 10:12Speaker 1: to ask questions, and he stopped me and he was like,
- 10:15Speaker 1: you know, we got to rush to the ambulance. When
- 10:18Speaker 1: I saw my son in the ambulance, his face looked
- 10:22Speaker 1: he had all you could tell it was dried up
- 10:24Speaker 1: substance all over his whole face, and he was like
- 10:27Speaker 1: a mummy. You know. They was poking him with needles
- 10:30Speaker 1: and my son did not flinch. And at that time
- 10:34Speaker 1: I was unaware that you could really be unconscious but
- 10:38Speaker 1: look alert, you know. So at that time, the ambulance,
- 10:42Speaker 1: you know, told me, hey, we haven't done nothing to him.
- 10:45Speaker 1: So I just was like okay. So I was I
- 10:49Speaker 1: wanted to get in the ambulance, but they said I
- 10:50Speaker 1: could follow, so I was like okay, you know, you know,
- 10:55Speaker 1: they was like, we just need to rush them. And
- 10:57Speaker 1: I'm thinking of police officers, which two were on scene,
- 11:00Speaker 1: they were gonna meet me at the hospital. Because again
- 11:02Speaker 1: as a parent, my son is found at an unknown residence,
- 11:07Speaker 1: he is being poked. You can tell that he's under
- 11:09Speaker 1: some type of influence of something. Even being his mom,
- 11:12Speaker 1: he's afraid of needles, so for him not to even flinch.
- 11:17Speaker 1: So I got to the hospital in Frisco. You know,
- 11:19Speaker 1: the hospital is literally everything in arond the corner. So
- 11:22Speaker 1: we got there in less than ten minutes. So when
- 11:25Speaker 1: I got there, they was already working on my son.
- 11:27Speaker 1: They put a capitor inside. You guys, he did not flinch.
- 11:31Speaker 1: So later to find out that he had acetone in
- 11:34Speaker 1: his system. Basically it was a strong enough and such
- 11:39Speaker 1: a substantial amount that my son could not he couldn't move.
- 11:44Speaker 1: So I'm pretty sure he could probably feel, but he
- 11:47Speaker 1: could not. He wasn't flinching or anything. So that's how
- 11:51Speaker 1: strong that drug was. So and you all will hear
- 11:54Speaker 1: people say, which is crazy that of course they said,
- 11:59Speaker 1: ad can form in your body. But let me say this,
- 12:02Speaker 1: you can get drunk or something can form in your
- 12:07Speaker 1: body that don't. That don't. That's not strong enough where
- 12:10Speaker 1: you can't feel, you can't flinch, you can't, you know,
- 12:14Speaker 1: So to that argument, it's really just crazy, you know
- 12:19Speaker 1: that people just keep on trying to assume, and even
- 12:22Speaker 1: the hospital say the things that they tried to say.
- 12:25Speaker 1: But anyways, so later on that night we did find
- 12:29Speaker 1: out after they did tests because at first they did
- 12:32Speaker 1: not want to do any tests. They wouldn't even I
- 12:36Speaker 1: asked for him to for them to test him to
- 12:39Speaker 1: see if he had been touched, because again, all I
- 12:41Speaker 1: know is he was found at a stranger's doorstep unconscious.
- 12:46Speaker 1: They wouldn't do it. The doctor didn't tell me. They
- 12:50Speaker 1: had a caseworker coming there, and she told me and
- 12:53Speaker 1: my ex husband, no, they couldn't do it because children
- 12:56Speaker 1: had rights. And I was like, well, he's only twelve
- 13:00Speaker 1: and I'm his parents, so you're telling me that if
- 13:02Speaker 1: I'm thinking something has happened, he's unconscious, he cannot talk,
- 13:06Speaker 1: he's you know, he would have spells to where he
- 13:10Speaker 1: was literally literally I haven't told anybody this, but my son.
- 13:15Speaker 1: He would be He would start randomly screaming. He didn't
- 13:18Speaker 1: know who anybody was, He didn't even know I was
- 13:20Speaker 1: his mom. So it was a scary sight to see. Okay,
- 13:27Speaker 1: So you know, I was like, I don't understand so
- 13:30Speaker 1: they wouldn't do anything. They wouldn't They did not look
- 13:32Speaker 1: at a kid would sound on a doorstep like they
- 13:35Speaker 1: really was literally treating it as if I brought my
- 13:40Speaker 1: son in the emergency room and said, oh, he's been
- 13:43Speaker 1: feeling sick. You know. That is how they treated it,
- 13:46Speaker 1: instead of saying, a kid is found randomly on the
- 13:50Speaker 1: doorstep with no feeling he's unconscious, That's how they did it.
- 13:55Speaker 1: That was weird to me. So the police officers did
- 13:59Speaker 1: not come to the hospital. That was also weird. When
- 14:03Speaker 1: I called nine one one, the NUN emergency line to
- 14:07Speaker 1: ask questions, the dispatcher was so rude. I asked him
- 14:13Speaker 1: they would not give me the officers names straight off,
- 14:16Speaker 1: I said, hey, I just want to know who the
- 14:18Speaker 1: officers were. Can I get their names? They refused to
- 14:22Speaker 1: give me the officers' names that found my son, which
- 14:27Speaker 1: is crazy. So I told him, you know, I said, hey,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get in touch with the officers.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Told me that the officers had already clocked out for
- 14:36Speaker 1: the day. Now, mind you, you guys, this is all
- 14:38Speaker 1: within ten minutes we literally had made it to the hospital.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I said, well, I'm trying to get in touch with
- 14:45Speaker 1: them because they said they spoke to the principal. The
- 14:47Speaker 1: guy said, well, we don't work for the school, so
- 14:50Speaker 1: you know, I stayed come. Another thing that threw me
- 14:53Speaker 1: off that they told me, oh, we can read the report.
- 14:56Speaker 1: So again, you guys, this is within less than ten minutes.
- 14:59Speaker 1: The offic so did not come to the hospital. They
- 15:03Speaker 1: probably made it to the you know, to the police
- 15:05Speaker 1: station about the same time we made it to the hospital.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I don't know what kind of report you can write,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you know, within a couple of seconds, which I knew
- 15:14Speaker 1: that was a lot. You know, that was so basically
- 15:19Speaker 1: in the report that the person read was a kid
- 15:24Speaker 1: was found on a doorstep, uh dropped his backpack and
- 15:28Speaker 1: and basically that was it. Now, at the time, I
- 15:32Speaker 1: was not thinking straight. I knew that it was not
- 15:35Speaker 1: And y'all can stop me anytime. I'm sorry, you're fine,
- 15:39Speaker 1: You're fine. At the time, none of it was adding up.
- 15:43Speaker 1: But I had never had any run ins with Frisco ID.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I had never had any run ins with Frisco PD.
- 15:50Speaker 1: So it didn't like even done on me, like this
- 15:55Speaker 1: is weird, you know what I'm saying, Like this is
- 15:57Speaker 1: really some weird stuff. That's going on, and everything is
- 16:02Speaker 1: so close in the proximity of where I live, you know,
- 16:06Speaker 1: So you know, I said, okay, I said, I'll go
- 16:09Speaker 1: ahead and I'll just go to the school in the
- 16:11Speaker 1: morning and i'll call tomorrow. The guy was like, okay,
- 16:15Speaker 1: you know. So when I got off the phone, they
- 16:19Speaker 1: were moving my son into ICU.
- 16:21Speaker 4: Right.
- 16:22Speaker 1: My son stayed in the hospital for two weeks, two
- 16:24Speaker 1: whole weeks, but they, you know, they was moving him
- 16:28Speaker 1: to I See You and I remember, you know, they
- 16:32Speaker 1: were still treating it as if it was just hey,
- 16:35Speaker 1: a mom brought a kid in, uh, And they wasn't
- 16:38Speaker 1: trying to do nothing, we said, They said we had
- 16:40Speaker 1: to wait for him to wake up and he had
- 16:42Speaker 1: to consent to getting tested. Well, my son, you know,
- 16:48Speaker 1: when we took him up to I See You, I
- 16:49Speaker 1: was outside of the room and I remember one of
- 16:53Speaker 1: the nurses was like, your son is calling for you.
- 16:56Speaker 1: So he was kind of coming out of whatever he
- 16:58Speaker 1: was in, and I remember, I'm for sitting down and
- 17:02Speaker 1: it was god like, I you know, I don't know
- 17:04Speaker 1: why I asked him this, but I was like, hey,
- 17:06Speaker 1: did he try to grab you? Because whenever we think
- 17:09Speaker 1: about something like that we think of somebody more masculine,
- 17:12Speaker 1: you know. So I'm like, did some did he try
- 17:14Speaker 1: to get you and you got away? And my son said, no,
- 17:18Speaker 1: she tried to get me. And at that point the
- 17:23Speaker 1: tech looked up. It was just me and a tech
- 17:26Speaker 1: in the room, and he looked up and he was like,
- 17:28Speaker 1: what did he just say? And my son, I said,
- 17:31Speaker 1: what do you mean she tried to get you? And
- 17:33Speaker 1: he said, clearest day, he said, Mom, do you remember
- 17:35Speaker 1: when you pick me up on the first day of school?
- 17:38Speaker 1: And it was crazy because I walked to get him
- 17:41Speaker 1: on the first day of school because you know, he's
- 17:43Speaker 1: going into the seventh grade. I'm working from I work
- 17:46Speaker 1: from home now, so I'm trying to like he a
- 17:49Speaker 1: big kid, you know. So I'm like, I know, of
- 17:51Speaker 1: the mom, I ain't gonna never let him walk home.
- 17:53Speaker 1: But I was like, let me try to start letting loose.
- 17:56Speaker 1: This my last my baby. So I walked to get
- 18:00Speaker 1: him and he said, remember when you walked to get me,
- 18:03Speaker 1: and you know, all the people was in the you know,
- 18:06Speaker 1: the bus rider line or whatever. Now I remember some teachers,
- 18:11Speaker 1: but I you know, but he was like, she was
- 18:14Speaker 1: she was out there, and I said, oh wow, he said, yeah,
- 18:18Speaker 1: he said, he said, when you drop. When I went
- 18:20Speaker 1: to school the next day, in the hallway where all
- 18:24Speaker 1: the teachers. You know, you meet the students in the hallway.
- 18:27Speaker 1: You know, when you go to school, all the teachers
- 18:28Speaker 1: are in the hallway. He said, she was in the hallway.
- 18:30Speaker 1: So this lady was It's like she made herself visible,
- 18:35Speaker 1: but not visible, you know, to where he knew. He
- 18:39Speaker 1: saw her more than once, so he thought she was
- 18:41Speaker 1: a teacher. So he said he went to the bathroom
- 18:46Speaker 1: and when he went to the bathroom, there's no doors,
- 18:50Speaker 1: and he said he heard a lady call his name,
- 18:53Speaker 1: and he said when he went out, it was the
- 18:56Speaker 1: young lady. He said that she told her him. She said,
- 19:01Speaker 1: nice to meet you, christ in my name of Amanda.
- 19:03Speaker 1: And you know, they talked for a little bit and
- 19:07Speaker 1: she offered him some ice cream. Now this is when
- 19:10Speaker 1: he told us the story in the hospital. He said,
- 19:13Speaker 1: you know, Mama, she offered me some ice cream. I
- 19:15Speaker 1: told her no, thank you, and you know, she became
- 19:20Speaker 1: agitated and then she smushed it in my face and
- 19:23Speaker 1: my finger pricked. It felt like she pricked my finger.
- 19:27Speaker 1: So when he opened up more recently, without me saying anything.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Somebody asked him some questions for the first time, and
- 19:37Speaker 1: he said, no, she she actually talked to him for
- 19:41Speaker 1: a couple of minutes. You know, he was like, she
- 19:43Speaker 1: talked to me a little because I always wondered what
- 19:46Speaker 1: he meant by she became agitated. So now I understand
- 19:53Speaker 1: that when she was talking to him, she seemed very welcoming,
- 19:56Speaker 1: you know, and when she offered him the ice cream
- 20:00Speaker 1: and he didn't take it, she became agitated and she
- 20:04Speaker 1: smushed and he said after that everything went kind of dark,
- 20:08Speaker 1: and you know, when he woke up pretty much he
- 20:11Speaker 1: was in the hospital, so he did run out of
- 20:15Speaker 1: the cafeteria door. Now skipping today too. After I found
- 20:20Speaker 1: all this out, you know, I asked my mom and
- 20:23Speaker 1: my ex husband. I said, I need y'all to stay
- 20:25Speaker 1: at the hospital, right, don't leave his side. You know,
- 20:29Speaker 1: they made sure they kept attaching their twenty four hours
- 20:33Speaker 1: because now they were starting to do protocol. You know.
- 20:39Speaker 1: So when I I stayed majority of the night and
- 20:43Speaker 1: I came home because I was like, I need to
- 20:44Speaker 1: make sure I'm making school first thing in the morning.
- 20:47Speaker 1: A police officer, they the social workers did tell a
- 20:50Speaker 1: police officer up there, and the police officer did call
- 20:54Speaker 1: me while I was at home. My son was sleep
- 20:57Speaker 1: but he said he didn't want to wake Tristing up.
- 20:59Speaker 1: So till this day, a police officer, the police department,
- 21:05Speaker 1: and the detectives refused to question Tristan. I just want
- 21:09Speaker 1: that to be I even ask them, why why why
- 21:14Speaker 1: haven't y'all questioned him? Why haven't y'all got his side
- 21:17Speaker 1: of the story. You know, you're asking me, you know,
- 21:21Speaker 1: but he can tell you hisself. And the detective told
- 21:24Speaker 1: me he refused, He was like, we don't need to
- 21:27Speaker 1: talk to him. So that was always weird as well.
- 21:30Speaker 1: So when I went to the school the next day,
- 21:37Speaker 1: I met the principal for the first time. And when
- 21:40Speaker 1: I walked in, the first thing she said, you you know, hey,
- 21:44Speaker 1: you know, I got Tristan's backpack. Let me get it
- 21:47Speaker 1: for you. She didn't say, how is your son? You know,
- 21:53Speaker 1: whatever happened to him? What was he found okay? Because
- 21:58Speaker 1: she didn't know yet, right, It was nothing like that.
- 22:01Speaker 1: It was, oh, let me get his backpack and give
- 22:04Speaker 1: it to you. And I said, well, wait, you know
- 22:06Speaker 1: when she went and got the backpack, she came back,
- 22:08Speaker 1: I said, wait a minute, I said, one, my son
- 22:10Speaker 1: is an ICU, right, I said, he also had a
- 22:16Speaker 1: acetone was found in his system. My son was found
- 22:18Speaker 1: unconscious on a doorstep. Right, So I said, but you
- 22:24Speaker 1: are the missing piece to the puzzle because you told
- 22:27Speaker 1: an officer that my son backpack fell off and he
- 22:31Speaker 1: kept walking. My son is twelve. I picked him up
- 22:33Speaker 1: every day myself from school since he started kindergarten. Okay,
- 22:38Speaker 1: and never have Tristan just dropped his backpack. And if
- 22:42Speaker 1: you got any kids in school, if y'all know how
- 22:44Speaker 1: crazy the school pickup line is and the school is,
- 22:47Speaker 1: you dropped backpack, somebody gonna pick it up. Hey, you
- 22:50Speaker 1: know you dropped the backpack. I told her, I said,
- 22:52Speaker 1: will you please show me where he dropped his backpack
- 22:56Speaker 1: on the camera before you showed me the footage. So
- 23:00Speaker 1: she showed me where he you know, the door he
- 23:02Speaker 1: walked out of and where his backpack dropped. So I said, okay,
- 23:07Speaker 1: roll the footage. Now. She told the you know, she
- 23:10Speaker 1: told the people, the officers that he walked off. Calmly boom.
- 23:15Speaker 1: When we played the footage, it showed my son walking
- 23:19Speaker 1: through the cafeteria two to three minutes before the bell rang.
- 23:23Speaker 1: He was frantic. You could tell. He walked out the
- 23:27Speaker 1: cafeteria door. He looked to the left. There's a deaddy
- 23:30Speaker 1: and there's a fence. You would literally you're you're you're,
- 23:35Speaker 1: you're railroaded in. There's nowhere to go unless you run
- 23:38Speaker 1: around the whole building. You caught by. Then there's just
- 23:41Speaker 1: you should not go that way. And he looked to
- 23:43Speaker 1: the right, and my son ran. Now, when he walked
- 23:47Speaker 1: out the cafeteria door frantically, you could tell he was thinking.
- 23:53Speaker 1: He put his backpack down to alleviate Wait, you could
- 23:57Speaker 1: tell what he was doing, and he ran. She stopped
- 23:59Speaker 1: the camera. She looked at me. She said, oh my god,
- 24:03Speaker 1: he did look francy. I said, well, and he ran.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I said, well, you told them, I said, there's a
- 24:10Speaker 1: difference between your backpack something dropping and you putting it down.
- 24:15Speaker 1: And there's a difference between running and walking. Let's just
- 24:18Speaker 1: get that straight. So we're most saying the same thing.
- 24:21Speaker 1: So if you watched the same thing I watched when
- 24:23Speaker 1: the police officers called you about a missing kid, this
- 24:27Speaker 1: is why wouldn't you tell them this? She said, Oh,
- 24:31Speaker 1: I wasn't thinking, you know, now, you know. So I
- 24:34Speaker 1: told her to replay it again, right because I wanted
- 24:36Speaker 1: to make sure that I saw the timestamp. Now, I
- 24:41Speaker 1: used to work at a bank where I was a
- 24:43Speaker 1: branch manager. I had to watch the footage all the time,
- 24:45Speaker 1: so I knew what the time stamp mean. I didn't
- 24:48Speaker 1: know what, you know, I knew like it was off.
- 24:50Speaker 1: So when she ran it back, I said, why was
- 24:54Speaker 1: my son out of class two to three minutes before
- 24:57Speaker 1: the bell rung? She could not answer that. In most
- 25:01Speaker 1: cases you would have called the teacher. They would have,
- 25:04Speaker 1: you know, let me find out. She didn't want to
- 25:07Speaker 1: find She didn't say she said, I'll ask her. I
- 25:09Speaker 1: don't know, you know. At that time, she turned the
- 25:11Speaker 1: footage off, you guys, and I was denied footage. Four
- 25:14Speaker 1: months after that, they would not let me watch no
- 25:18Speaker 1: more footage. So she sat down and she was like,
- 25:22Speaker 1: I feel like you're interrogating me because I went on
- 25:25Speaker 1: to ask her questions, like hey, I did reach out
- 25:29Speaker 1: to a counselor, and she told me that nobody on
- 25:32Speaker 1: her staff has to respond after unauthorized. She said it
- 25:41Speaker 1: another way, but it was basically, after a certain time,
- 25:43Speaker 1: no one has to respond to you. Right, So I said,
- 25:46Speaker 1: I understand it. But before I could tell her that
- 25:48Speaker 1: the counselor did respond, she kept talking. I said, well,
- 25:51Speaker 1: I did drive up to the school and I realized
- 25:55Speaker 1: that I'm outside of your office and I met a
- 25:59Speaker 1: black I met a no, no, you know what, I
- 26:00Speaker 1: didn't say the color, I said, I met a lady.
- 26:02Speaker 1: You guys. She said, oh, that was my assistant principal.
- 26:06Speaker 1: So right, so how did you know? You know, like
- 26:09Speaker 1: I'm looking like I didn't even know that, So how
- 26:13Speaker 1: did you?
- 26:14Speaker 4: So?
- 26:14Speaker 1: I said, oh, that was your assistant principal. She said, yeah,
- 26:17Speaker 1: she came in and she asked me if I was
- 26:21Speaker 1: aware that a kid was missing. So I'm shortening the
- 26:24Speaker 1: story so to make a long story short. At first,
- 26:29Speaker 1: she said, you guys that she was not aware that
- 26:31Speaker 1: a kid was missing, right, But when the assistant principal
- 26:34Speaker 1: walked in that office and asked her, the police department
- 26:39Speaker 1: had already contacted her. So I was on hold for
- 26:43Speaker 1: a while. I didn't know that they were actually the
- 26:48Speaker 1: dispatchers that and the police department was actually calling the school.
- 26:52Speaker 1: So while I was sitting outside on hold, they were
- 26:54Speaker 1: inside the police department or whoever it was they were
- 26:58Speaker 1: talking to the principal.
- 27:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Right, So when I called her in a lie because
- 27:04Speaker 1: I said, well, if the assistant principal came here and
- 27:06Speaker 1: asked you if you knew a kid was missing, one
- 27:09Speaker 1: you knew before she did. You said no at first,
- 27:12Speaker 1: and she was like, oh, yeah, well, you know a
- 27:14Speaker 1: lot was going on. And I said, well another thing,
- 27:17Speaker 1: why didn't your assistant principal tell me who she was.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Why didn't she let me know that she was coming
- 27:23Speaker 1: in here to ask you and that she was going
- 27:26Speaker 1: to check footage to see if a kid got on
- 27:28Speaker 1: the wrong bus. She said, I don't know. She said,
- 27:31Speaker 1: we thought you were gone. I said, well I had
- 27:33Speaker 1: told her that I was supposed to wait outside, So
- 27:37Speaker 1: that right there sounds crazy, okay, So I said, okay,
- 27:42Speaker 1: Well she said she would be right back. So I
- 27:45Speaker 1: thought that she was going to go get the teacher
- 27:50Speaker 1: to ask my son about to let me know if
- 27:52Speaker 1: my son why he wasn't in class right on that
- 27:55Speaker 1: footage I saw, Well, she went and got an officer.
- 27:59Speaker 1: This officer name was Richard Pippen. So when he came
- 28:02Speaker 1: in again, you guys, I was not thinking. I didn't
- 28:06Speaker 1: put everything together until after a couple of days. So
- 28:11Speaker 1: I wasn't even thinking, like, where did the officer come from?
- 28:13Speaker 1: You know? Now I knew that our schools had officers
- 28:21Speaker 1: on site. I didn't know what their title was, right,
- 28:24Speaker 1: but I knew they did. So I was like, well,
- 28:27Speaker 1: maybe I didn't know. But the first thing he came
- 28:30Speaker 1: in and he said, he introduced himself, right, and he
- 28:33Speaker 1: told me who he wasn't He said that, you know,
- 28:38Speaker 1: he wasn't the SRO at the school. He told me
- 28:43Speaker 1: he did not work at the school. And he told
- 28:45Speaker 1: me that he did not know any of the protocol right.
- 28:48Speaker 1: I later found out that he was basically answering all
- 28:52Speaker 1: the questions that he thought I would have asked. You
- 28:55Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, he wanted to throw I think
- 28:58Speaker 1: their whole thing was to throw me off, right, So
- 29:01Speaker 1: I didn't I didn't understand. You know, I didn't even
- 29:04Speaker 1: know what the SRO was. I'm like, views listening, what
- 29:08Speaker 1: is an SRO office? It is a school resource officer,
- 29:11Speaker 1: So it is an actual offer officer that works for
- 29:16Speaker 1: h your city's department, but they are assigned to different schools. Right.
- 29:22Speaker 1: But so everything he said he wasn't he was Okay,
- 29:26Speaker 1: so you know, he said, hey, you know, I got kids,
- 29:29Speaker 1: I know how you feel. And he literally he left.
- 29:33Speaker 1: He left. He left right after having a conversation with
- 29:39Speaker 1: the principal for three to four hours, you guys, three
- 29:43Speaker 1: to four hours. It was nothing. It was nothing but
- 29:47Speaker 1: lie after lie after lie after lie. Immediately her boss
- 29:54Speaker 1: came in. I think his name was it Will either
- 29:57Speaker 1: Mark or Mike. I got to get the name, but
- 30:00Speaker 1: he came in. They busted in because by that time
- 30:04Speaker 1: I had I had the principal and the assistant principal
- 30:06Speaker 1: in the office, and so they busted in. They made
- 30:11Speaker 1: the two ladies get out, and the first thing they
- 30:14Speaker 1: said was they had watched the footage. Now mind you,
- 30:18Speaker 1: this was my first time because it just happened. So
- 30:22Speaker 1: for two people that are higher up, like probably I
- 30:26Speaker 1: would say, he's the manager, he's right under the superintendent.
- 30:31Speaker 1: For them to walk in and tell me they don't
- 30:34Speaker 1: watch footage, it was just like it's like me, US
- 30:39Speaker 1: US three, US four talking and I haven't even told
- 30:42Speaker 1: y'all the story, and you guys are already you know,
- 30:47Speaker 1: kind of y'all know more than I do, you know,
- 30:50Speaker 1: like you know, it's like Sissy tell you know, Dwayne
- 30:52Speaker 1: ain't supposed to know nothing, but Sissy done, you know,
- 30:55Speaker 1: So it was just like so I asked him, I said,
- 30:57Speaker 1: I asked the the gentlemen, I said, do you want
- 31:01Speaker 1: to know what happened? Like what the principal said? He
- 31:05Speaker 1: said no, and he said it as stern as he
- 31:07Speaker 1: could like it blew my mind to where I grabbed
- 31:10Speaker 1: my son's backpack. I stood up and I said, hey,
- 31:13Speaker 1: I said, I'm about to get everybody, every news station
- 31:16Speaker 1: I can at the front door of the school. Just
- 31:19Speaker 1: give me a couple of seconds, you know. So I
- 31:23Speaker 1: guess the the person that I guess it's probably, I
- 31:27Speaker 1: would say, like a spokesperson or whatever. You know. He
- 31:31Speaker 1: asked for us to all sit down, and the first
- 31:35Speaker 1: thing they said was that my son did look frantic.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Right now. Mind you, we didn't watch the footage together,
- 31:41Speaker 1: so I don't know if when she walked out, she
- 31:44Speaker 1: went and called for backup and they had washed the footage,
- 31:48Speaker 1: but they were like, you know, hey, you know your
- 31:50Speaker 1: son did look frantic. What do you want to happen?
- 31:53Speaker 1: And I'm not gonna lie, said, I want her fired because
- 31:55Speaker 1: what I heard for four hours, I'm ninety nine percent
- 31:58Speaker 1: sure that. I was like, this lady did something to
- 32:02Speaker 1: my child, like she Now, I couldn't say the officer
- 32:06Speaker 1: because at that time I believed who he said. He
- 32:09Speaker 1: was not right, so I had no reason to believe
- 32:12Speaker 1: anything else. They was like, well, we got to get
- 32:15Speaker 1: HR involved and we'll get an investigation.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Now.
- 32:18Speaker 1: They never told me what I had to do, so
- 32:21Speaker 1: they didn't tell me that I had to send an
- 32:22Speaker 1: email or go online and you know, report to the district.
- 32:27Speaker 1: They didn't tell me what I had to do. So
- 32:29Speaker 1: I'm thinking they're gonna do an investigation and I'm gonna
- 32:33Speaker 1: hear something back you guys that did not happen. The
- 32:37Speaker 1: next day, I asked them that before I left the school.
- 32:41Speaker 1: When I left, I sent an email and I asked
- 32:44Speaker 1: them if I could get a copy of the footage
- 32:47Speaker 1: sent to me. She was like, no, you can come
- 32:50Speaker 1: back and watch it now. When I came back the
- 32:52Speaker 1: next day, this was the last time I was ever
- 32:55Speaker 1: on school property, they set me down with the assistant principal.
- 33:01Speaker 1: She tried to show me what she wanted to show me.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I said, no, show me, like, I want you to
- 33:07Speaker 1: play it all the way through, Like, don't show me
- 33:09Speaker 1: bits and pieces, because I know how things could look
- 33:13Speaker 1: like something is not, you know, so she wouldn't do that.
- 33:16Speaker 1: She just said, well, she wanted to only show me
- 33:20Speaker 1: Trystan walking out of the classroom with a whole bunch
- 33:23Speaker 1: of people. I said, that can't be true, because if
- 33:26Speaker 1: that's the case, it would have followed him into the cafeteria.
- 33:30Speaker 1: If anybody look at my interview from a year ago,
- 33:33Speaker 1: From the time that I have been on camera, I
- 33:36Speaker 1: have always said, there was nobody in that footage with
- 33:39Speaker 1: my son. So what they tried to show me this
- 33:42Speaker 1: year in a hearing with a bunch of kids in
- 33:45Speaker 1: the cafeteria, that was definitely edited. I know what I saw.
- 33:49Speaker 1: I didn't see that, and it's on social media. So anyways,
- 33:54Speaker 1: she wouldn't show me that. She just kept saying, I
- 33:58Speaker 1: was told you was coming to watch a certain on
- 34:00Speaker 1: the footage you was coming to watch. I said, no,
- 34:02Speaker 1: play it through. Now I had only been in there
- 34:04Speaker 1: less than five minutes. I asked her. Did she talk
- 34:07Speaker 1: to the teacher about if my son was in class?
- 34:10Speaker 1: She said no. I said, can you ask her? She
- 34:13Speaker 1: told me no. I said, can you get somebody to
- 34:17Speaker 1: ask if my son was in class. She said no.
- 34:21Speaker 1: As soon as she said no, and I'm I'm I'm
- 34:24Speaker 1: this is not theatrical okay, And I'm not gonna yell
- 34:27Speaker 1: in y'all ear. But the principal, who I talked to
- 34:31Speaker 1: for four hours, she came and she busted in the cap.
- 34:34Speaker 1: She busted in the office. She did not greet me.
- 34:37Speaker 1: She looked right at the assistant principle and she said,
- 34:41Speaker 1: we have a meeting. We can't be late. Let's go.
- 34:45Speaker 1: She was a little more stern than that. Now my
- 34:49Speaker 1: daughter was a witness. My twenty one year old daughter
- 34:52Speaker 1: was in their witness. I stood up. I was at
- 34:56Speaker 1: that time. I knew.
- 35:00Speaker 4: One.
- 35:00Speaker 1: I told them they are bad actress and actresses. I
- 35:03Speaker 1: knew something. Something had been done to my son purposely
- 35:06Speaker 1: when she did that. So I said, I said, what
- 35:09Speaker 1: is wrong with you? I said, you you set this
- 35:13Speaker 1: meeting up right? You busting here a parent where you
- 35:17Speaker 1: know her son, isn't I see you? You don't say hey,
- 35:20Speaker 1: thiss weekly. Her name is Katie Grinaldo. It's me gran
- 35:23Speaker 1: missus Rinaldo. You don't nothing, you literally, but I say
- 35:29Speaker 1: you are a bad actress. Now she stepped back because
- 35:33Speaker 1: I was angry. I wasn't yelling, but at that time
- 35:36Speaker 1: I knew something happened to my son. It was not
- 35:39Speaker 1: by certain you know, it wasn't by like accident. So
- 35:43Speaker 1: she walked out. Now I'm paying attention to you guys.
- 35:46Speaker 1: She did her hand like this. Guess who walked in?
- 35:51Speaker 1: So I called nine one one and I said, I
- 35:54Speaker 1: want some police officers down here. Now, I said, because
- 35:56Speaker 1: something happened to my son. They did something to my son.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Well I saw her do like this, and guess who
- 36:05Speaker 1: walked in the same officer, right, I said. I knew
- 36:10Speaker 1: his name. I said, mister Pippin. And the lady the dispatcher, said,
- 36:14Speaker 1: Officer Pippin is there. I said yeah. She said, oh, well,
- 36:19Speaker 1: we don't need the dispatch any officers. There's one on scene.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I said, well, I said, I don't even know where
- 36:28Speaker 1: he came from. They was like, well, no, you know,
- 36:29Speaker 1: but he's an officer. So I hung up the phone
- 36:33Speaker 1: and he came in the same way. He didn't, you know,
- 36:37Speaker 1: he didn't he didn't come in and try to put
- 36:40Speaker 1: me out because I wasn't out rape. But I was
- 36:42Speaker 1: really stern because now I'm like, okay, all types of
- 36:46Speaker 1: red flags are going off. He asked me if I
- 36:49Speaker 1: could sit down. He said, can you sit down for
- 36:52Speaker 1: a minute. I said yes. He said, can do you
- 36:54Speaker 1: mind if I talk to you? I said yes. He said,
- 36:58Speaker 1: remember what I told you yesterday? I said yeah. He
- 37:01Speaker 1: said what did I say? I said, you said, you're
- 37:03Speaker 1: not an SRO, you don't work for the school, and
- 37:07Speaker 1: you don't know any of the school policies. I repeated
- 37:09Speaker 1: it back to him and he said yeah. He said,
- 37:12Speaker 1: but I know how you feel. He said, you're in
- 37:14Speaker 1: the wrong place. He said, you should be at the
- 37:17Speaker 1: district the office down the street. I said, well, I
- 37:20Speaker 1: didn't know that because I was told to come here
- 37:23Speaker 1: right and again he tried to get me with the
- 37:27Speaker 1: kid thing. You know, hey, I got kids just like you.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I understand. You know, you need to go up there.
- 37:32Speaker 1: You need to go ahead and follo a complaint, you know,
- 37:34Speaker 1: to get an investigation going. And I left. That was
- 37:38Speaker 1: the last time I was at the school. You guys,
- 37:40Speaker 1: so just feeding it up. The crazy part is that
- 37:45Speaker 1: this same man, I found out that he was head
- 37:49Speaker 1: of the investigation of what at the school. So the
- 37:52Speaker 1: school had had an investigation going. Y'all see my hands
- 37:56Speaker 1: and then they had not put it to detective on
- 38:00Speaker 1: my son's case because the school said they were going
- 38:04Speaker 1: to do an investigation first. Right, So the day that
- 38:07Speaker 1: man walked in there and told me who he was not,
- 38:11Speaker 1: he was head of the investigation. I want you to
- 38:14Speaker 1: know that. So the second day when he came and
- 38:16Speaker 1: talked to me, he was head of the investigation. So
- 38:20Speaker 1: he was knowingly lion, purposely lion to me and giving
- 38:24Speaker 1: me unsolicited lies. Okay, I found that out on accident
- 38:30Speaker 1: when I kept going to the police department because my
- 38:33Speaker 1: son did cold y'all, he almost lost his life and
- 38:36Speaker 1: I see you. And when they brought him back, I
- 38:41Speaker 1: was concerned because I hadn't heard from no one, not
- 38:45Speaker 1: a detective, not a police officer. So I was like,
- 38:48Speaker 1: I need someone to hear my story because if something
- 38:51Speaker 1: happened to my son, I'm his only voice, you know.
- 38:54Speaker 1: So I'm like, I need to get somebody up here
- 38:56Speaker 1: to hear the voice. So when I called Chrisco PD
- 39:00Speaker 1: that night, they told me that it was on a Friday,
- 39:04Speaker 1: that detectives didn't work on weekends, right, so I had
- 39:08Speaker 1: to wait until a Monday. So I went to the
- 39:11Speaker 1: police department and I found out that. Now, the detective
- 39:18Speaker 1: that I talked to still did not tell me, you guys,
- 39:21Speaker 1: that who was the investigator at the school? Right? But
- 39:24Speaker 1: he told me that the school was doing an investigation.
- 39:26Speaker 1: That's why a detective wasn't on the case. But I said,
- 39:30Speaker 1: I haven't talked to nobody. So he was like, I'm
- 39:32Speaker 1: gonna put the detective on the case.
- 39:33Speaker 5: Right.
- 39:34Speaker 1: So I hadn't heard from the detective yet. I went
- 39:37Speaker 1: back to the police department. I was going all week.
- 39:41Speaker 1: An unknown officer at the window. He was like, well,
- 39:45Speaker 1: I can tell you who's the investigator at the school,
- 39:49Speaker 1: you guys. When he told me Richard Pippen, I could
- 39:52Speaker 1: have passed out. He saw the expression on my face
- 39:55Speaker 1: and he was like, is everything okay? And I tried
- 39:59Speaker 1: to mask it because I did not want to look
- 40:02Speaker 1: as stunned as I did, and I just said, no,
- 40:04Speaker 1: I have no Now I'm like, oh, because so people
- 40:08Speaker 1: were telling me things because they thought I knew, you know,
- 40:12Speaker 1: So in the beginning I don't think that certain people
- 40:15Speaker 1: was I was trying to cover up. But once the
- 40:20Speaker 1: word was getting around to whoever was trying to cover
- 40:22Speaker 1: up what they have been since day one you could
- 40:26Speaker 1: tell when I was getting information people was not meaning
- 40:30Speaker 1: to give me the information. So at that time, that's
- 40:33Speaker 1: when I found out he was the SRO. That's when
- 40:37Speaker 1: I found out that he was head of the investigation.
- 40:41Speaker 1: This man had put out information that he had spoke
- 40:43Speaker 1: to me numerous the times. And when I told the detective,
- 40:49Speaker 1: his boss and other people at the police department, you guys,
- 40:53Speaker 1: they told me they cannot help what I thought I heard.
- 40:56Speaker 1: So then when I clearly told them that I had
- 41:00Speaker 1: I talked to anybody from the school about an investigation,
- 41:04Speaker 1: they basically was calling me a liar. So I'm saying,
- 41:07Speaker 1: I haven't heard. So the interaction that I had with
- 41:12Speaker 1: this officer those two days, they said that was communication
- 41:18Speaker 1: just and then last to just leave it off the detective.
- 41:24Speaker 1: They took the case, which was Detective Folk. The day
- 41:29Speaker 1: he took it, he said, I asked him, why did
- 41:31Speaker 1: Frisco PD Frisco PD, and why did Frisco ID put
- 41:34Speaker 1: out false statements to the public. He told me that
- 41:38Speaker 1: he didn't put that out. He wouldn't his department would
- 41:41Speaker 1: not have put that out. When I asked him who
- 41:43Speaker 1: put it out, he said it was somebody higher in
- 41:47Speaker 1: a higher pay pay grade than he was. Right, So
- 41:53Speaker 1: he said he had so much footage to watch, he
- 41:55Speaker 1: had to get footage. This detective closed my son's case
- 42:00Speaker 1: in less than a week. I knew from the footage
- 42:04Speaker 1: he claimed he had to watch that he did not
- 42:06Speaker 1: watch no footage, y'all. But he claimed he watched. He
- 42:09Speaker 1: didn't see a lady. He said. The only person he
- 42:13Speaker 1: saw on camera with any interaction with my son was
- 42:17Speaker 1: the sro The same yeah, the same sro O that
- 42:22Speaker 1: said he didn't he didn't work there at that school.
- 42:25Speaker 1: But you're on camera, Uh where my son got information
- 42:30Speaker 1: from you? Right? Because my son did not, you know,
- 42:33Speaker 1: to ask about classes. The two things that I want
- 42:38Speaker 1: to be taken away from what I just said is
- 42:41Speaker 1: this year I found out that my son's case was closed.
- 42:46Speaker 1: The detective never watched any footage, right, he never watched
- 42:50Speaker 1: any footage. So that was a lie, right when my
- 42:55Speaker 1: when the detective tried to get footage from the school
- 42:58Speaker 1: this year, they could not provide the detective anything after
- 43:01Speaker 1: noon after twelve o'clock. The other thing I wanted to
- 43:07Speaker 1: be taken away is my son was seen on camera
- 43:12Speaker 1: two to three minutes walking out of the cafeteria. Right,
- 43:15Speaker 1: he was out of class way before that, because he
- 43:18Speaker 1: was in the hallway, he was in the bathroom, he
- 43:21Speaker 1: talked to this woman.
- 43:22Speaker 4: Right.
- 43:23Speaker 1: My question has always been, and nobody has said anything,
- 43:27Speaker 1: is why would a kid go to the bathroom and
- 43:29Speaker 1: have his backpack? Why would he need his backpack unless
- 43:36Speaker 1: my son thought it was the end of the day.
- 43:40Speaker 1: As this story, like as I said here and it's
- 43:44Speaker 1: been a year, and the things that I found out
- 43:47Speaker 1: and I've heard myself. They got my son out of
- 43:50Speaker 1: that classroom, and they made my son think that it
- 43:54Speaker 1: was school was out, because I always asked him and
- 43:57Speaker 1: wonder when he was in the hospital, why he kept
- 44:00Speaker 1: saying When I said why you had your backpack? He
- 44:02Speaker 1: said school was let out. They let us out, I said, Tristan,
- 44:06Speaker 1: but you were the only one in the cafeteria. So
- 44:11Speaker 1: it was key things that my son said that never
- 44:14Speaker 1: added up until until recently within the year of basically,
- 44:23Speaker 1: whoever let my son out of this classroom or however
- 44:26Speaker 1: they they've made him seem they made it seem to him,
- 44:29Speaker 1: take your backpack, school is letting out, you know. So
- 44:33Speaker 1: that's what those are the two things that I really
- 44:36Speaker 1: want people to take away is that the detective never looked,
- 44:39Speaker 1: he lied about watching footage. My son never was given
- 44:42Speaker 1: a fair chance right, and a kid had his backpack
- 44:46Speaker 1: and he was made to believe that it was the
- 44:48Speaker 1: end of the day.
- 44:48Speaker 4: So oh wow, yeah.
- 44:52Speaker 8: Miss Weekly, how is Tristan today?
- 44:57Speaker 1: He's not good. A lot of people ask me that question,
- 45:00Speaker 1: and I, Sissy, I always say, oh, he's doing better,
- 45:05Speaker 1: but my son finally broke down on Monday. Homeschool is
- 45:09Speaker 1: hard for him. And when I tell people that my
- 45:11Speaker 1: son's childhood was snatched away, you know, people still be like, oh, well,
- 45:14Speaker 1: he's only thirteen. No, his childhood was snatched away. He
- 45:18Speaker 1: was looking forward to the seventh grade. He was a
- 45:21Speaker 1: kid that all he knew was school and now he
- 45:25Speaker 1: was snatched out of school because of an incident, and
- 45:27Speaker 1: he's isolated. We try to get him out, but he don't.
- 45:33Speaker 1: He don't. He can't talk. He don't talk to friends.
- 45:35Speaker 1: You know, all his friends are in school. He doesn't
- 45:38Speaker 1: go out. So it's like he is isolated and and
- 45:41Speaker 1: homeschool is hard from a kid that is used to
- 45:43Speaker 1: having extra support and extra help to having to learn
- 45:48Speaker 1: on his own. It's not a lot of support in homeschool.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Like I don't know if it's because of the school
- 45:53Speaker 1: that we have him in, it's not a lot of support.
- 45:57Speaker 1: And my son broke down, Sissy, And it was the
- 46:00Speaker 1: first time in a whole year that I've seen my son.
- 46:04Speaker 1: I've seen that same kid in the ambulance. I've seen
- 46:07Speaker 1: that same kid that I saw in the hospitals for
- 46:10Speaker 1: two weeks who was in so much pain, that was
- 46:13Speaker 1: having seizures, that was crying off and on, had crying spells.
- 46:19Speaker 1: And it broke me down because I had to apologize
- 46:22Speaker 1: to him again and tell him I'm sorry one because
- 46:26Speaker 1: nothing has been done. He didn't deserve it. You know,
- 46:33Speaker 1: everybody if life is as normal for everybody, right, But
- 46:37Speaker 1: he's a kid that don't know how to express hisself. So, Sissy,
- 46:40Speaker 1: he's not doing good. And as a parent, you know
- 46:44Speaker 1: my son, you know, he tries to not say a
- 46:47Speaker 1: lot because he's trying because he don't want me to
- 46:50Speaker 1: stress out. You know, he knows I'm still advocating. He
- 46:52Speaker 1: don't want me to wear it. But I think you know,
- 46:55Speaker 1: he had he went he was at his breaking point
- 46:57Speaker 1: on my day, and I had to remember instead of
- 47:02Speaker 1: like telling a story and me reminiscent. I had to
- 47:07Speaker 1: realize that my son is trying to He tried to
- 47:11Speaker 1: block it out, but you can only block it out
- 47:14Speaker 1: for so long, so he's not doing it so good.
- 47:16Speaker 1: You know, we.
- 47:18Speaker 4: Definitely would We definitely keep him in prayer and keep
- 47:21Speaker 4: you guys in prayer because I know, just from listening
- 47:25Speaker 4: to the story and knowing of the story and speaking
- 47:28Speaker 4: with you before, this is a moment that's that's real strange.
- 47:34Speaker 4: I think that's the word I can use. It's strange.
- 47:37Speaker 4: And I know this is limited time here. I know
- 47:42Speaker 4: you guys have another event schedule in January to be
- 47:48Speaker 4: able to go more in depth and sit down and
- 47:52Speaker 4: really go into the thing, into this situation. We wanted
- 47:55Speaker 4: to take the day to really just give people a
- 47:57Speaker 4: foundation and let them know exactly what's going on in
- 48:00Speaker 4: Tristan and tristan situation in his life, so they can
- 48:04Speaker 4: kind of know what's going on because people heard the
- 48:07Speaker 4: initial stories and hurt the initial reports, and they were
- 48:11Speaker 4: not true and they were far from what happened to
- 48:15Speaker 4: Tristan that day, and so we want to make sure
- 48:18Speaker 4: that people got that opportunity to hear that story directly
- 48:21Speaker 4: because they only hear it and get some pieces of
- 48:24Speaker 4: conversations about other situations that's going on in Frisco and
- 48:27Speaker 4: in Texas, and they really don't get the chance to
- 48:30Speaker 4: hear directly of the situation. And what better way is
- 48:34Speaker 4: from his mom and from his mother in the front
- 48:36Speaker 4: of person that dealt with it from the beginning. And
- 48:39Speaker 4: we just really want to thank you today for coming
- 48:41Speaker 4: on and sharing with us that story. And I just
- 48:46Speaker 4: want to let you know that we're definitely here and
- 48:48Speaker 4: we're definitely going to continue to work with you and
- 48:51Speaker 4: work for you guys in this situation, and this won't
- 48:54Speaker 4: be the last opportunity that we will have to talk
- 48:57Speaker 4: about this, but we know that in January and sister
- 49:01Speaker 4: can share that that date and everything in the platform
- 49:05Speaker 4: so people know. And also, Shandra, before you leave, I
- 49:08Speaker 4: do want you to share the gofund me because you
- 49:12Speaker 4: do have a gofund me up for for Tristan for
- 49:15Speaker 4: the situation, and we definitely share that.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm trying not to cry, like I don't even
- 49:22Speaker 1: sometimes I forget about the go from the account. But
- 49:26Speaker 1: the go fu me account is under Chandra Weekly it's
- 49:30Speaker 1: my name. You will see me and my son's picture
- 49:34Speaker 1: on there. That is to help give my son into therapy,
- 49:40Speaker 1: that is, to try to to get him into some activities,
- 49:47Speaker 1: and to just help us out because I was all
- 49:52Speaker 1: for almost four months and I was not getting paid.
- 49:56Speaker 1: So it put my family in a financial financial It
- 50:02Speaker 1: put us behind badly. So like when they started to
- 50:07Speaker 1: change my insurance, I had to pay copays. I couldn't
- 50:09Speaker 1: even afford to pay co pays. No more so when
- 50:13Speaker 1: my son said he needed more therapy, I can't afford that,
- 50:16Speaker 1: you know. So the go fund is under my name
- 50:19Speaker 1: Chandra weekly Uh c h A N d r A
- 50:22Speaker 1: and w e e k l e Y. And again
- 50:25Speaker 1: you will just see a picture. Okay, yeah, it's c
- 50:32Speaker 1: h A N d r A and my last name
- 50:35Speaker 1: is w e e k l e Y. I know
- 50:38Speaker 1: it's l y on here, but it's l e y.
- 50:42Speaker 1: But that picture that's on there, that was actually the
- 50:47Speaker 1: day after we came home from the hospital and me
- 50:51Speaker 1: and Tristan was hugging in the bed, you know, because
- 50:55Speaker 1: I was just so grateful. So that's the reason I
- 50:57Speaker 1: put that picture up because every everything that happened to
- 51:01Speaker 1: my son, he still gave a smile you know, so yeah,
- 51:07Speaker 1: most definitely, and I'm want to say something.
- 51:10Speaker 8: Go ahead, Oh, I was just gonna say, Duane, it's
- 51:13Speaker 8: been a pleasure, and Miss thank you very much for
- 51:17Speaker 8: joining us and to the viewers. We will be doing
- 51:22Speaker 8: a podcast with Miss Weekly on the eleventh of January.
- 51:29Speaker 8: My TikTok page is Sissy s I s S y
- 51:33Speaker 8: one one two five one. I will be posting more
- 51:36Speaker 8: information on that. So we're going to continue this talk.
- 51:39Speaker 8: Thank you very much for viewing in.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 51:42Speaker 5: If you just send me some information, I'll definitely share
- 51:45Speaker 5: it out on my platforms. I would also like to
- 51:49Speaker 5: extend an opportunity to share your story inside of my magazine.
- 51:56Speaker 4: I have a magazine.
- 51:57Speaker 1: Matter of fact, I just got my November you today,
- 52:01Speaker 1: but I.
- 52:01Speaker 5: Have a magazine focused on sharing things black about our
- 52:07Speaker 5: black and brown community because a lot of things go
- 52:10Speaker 5: unheard concerning our black and brown community. So I've been
- 52:15Speaker 5: had this magazine now five years to be six years
- 52:18Speaker 5: in May, and my whole focus is to talk about
- 52:23Speaker 5: those things that seem to get brushed under the rug.
- 52:27Speaker 5: So I want to send this to you an opportunity
- 52:31Speaker 5: to share your baby story inside of this magazine and
- 52:36Speaker 5: we invite you back anytime you want to come and
- 52:40Speaker 5: share on our platform.
- 52:41Speaker 1: You're more than welcome.
- 52:44Speaker 5: Doctor Ceci and Dwayne, they stopped by as much as
- 52:48Speaker 5: they can. I'm thinking about just offering them a spot
- 52:52Speaker 5: for next season because we're getting ready to wrap up
- 52:56Speaker 5: season three here on the podcast the thirty first of
- 52:59Speaker 5: the December. But we will be back for season four
- 53:04Speaker 5: February the first, and we are about being the change
- 53:09Speaker 5: that we desired to see in this world. I'm glad
- 53:11Speaker 5: that you are sharing your story. There are so many
- 53:14Speaker 5: things that you shared today that just it's unacceptable.
- 53:19Speaker 1: It's unacceptable.
- 53:20Speaker 5: I can't believe that a lot of these things slipped
- 53:23Speaker 5: through and people did not address them.
- 53:27Speaker 1: It's sad. I'm sitting here.
- 53:31Speaker 5: There's no way that people didn't realize that this was
- 53:34Speaker 5: a straight cover up. I don't know, but I mean,
- 53:39Speaker 5: it speaks nothing but cover up from.
- 53:41Speaker 4: Every one of my hosts.
- 53:42Speaker 5: That's the first thing that they say, and this is
- 53:45Speaker 5: their first time hearing about this story, but immediately they.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Say cover up.
- 53:50Speaker 5: And ye, and that's all I heard as you were speaking,
- 53:54Speaker 5: that that was all I heard. So I just know
- 53:57Speaker 5: that we are here. I also have a five a
- 54:01Speaker 5: M prayer a prayer line. We would definitely be lifting
- 54:04Speaker 5: your baby up and your family up because we're tired
- 54:09Speaker 5: of thing these things happening, and we want these things
- 54:12Speaker 5: that are being done in the dark and and these
- 54:15Speaker 5: corrupt things to be exposed.
- 54:18Speaker 1: So definitely, you have a platform.
- 54:21Speaker 5: You have two amazing people sitting right there on that
- 54:23Speaker 5: platform that are definitely doing an amazing job and advocating
- 54:29Speaker 5: for for justice. Yeah, and I'm just I'm just grateful
- 54:35Speaker 5: for you coming by and sharing your story. So just
- 54:37Speaker 5: know that the platform is open for you anytime. I'm
- 54:41Speaker 5: gonna get on your way. I'm sorry, but I just
- 54:48Speaker 5: felt like I needed to come on and let you
- 54:51Speaker 5: know that you have a place, know that you you
- 54:55Speaker 5: have an outlet, because your voice needs to be heard,
- 54:58Speaker 5: it needs to be amplify.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Most definitely, I really appreciate it. And if y'all look
- 55:05Speaker 1: up the story. People always do this all the time, y'all.
- 55:08Speaker 1: But our name is l E y, So it's w
- 55:11Speaker 1: e e k l e y h. But as soon
- 55:14Speaker 1: as you put it in Tristan story is gonna come up.
- 55:18Speaker 1: But it's w e E k l E Y. And
- 55:20Speaker 1: I just want to say thank you for allowing me
- 55:22Speaker 1: to use your platform. Thank you since and Dwayne, I
- 55:25Speaker 1: know I was trying to talk fast because I know
- 55:26Speaker 1: Dwayne was like thirty minutes and I was like, oh lord,
- 55:28Speaker 1: I'm looking at the time, and I was. But you know,
- 55:32Speaker 1: I did share some things that I have not shared
- 55:35Speaker 1: honestly with anybody else. But thank you again. I am
- 55:39Speaker 1: excited and ready to you know, be on the platform
- 55:44Speaker 1: to go more into detail. And yeah, like I'm glad
- 55:48Speaker 1: I got a team behind me and people are really
- 55:50Speaker 1: looking into it and that people are starting to really
- 55:53Speaker 1: listen with a good ear and notice that you know,
- 55:56Speaker 1: it was definitely a cover up and they're still trying
- 55:59Speaker 1: to cover it up. But my son deserves justice. He
- 56:04Speaker 1: somebody to be held accountable. So if we never find
- 56:07Speaker 1: out who this woman is, that the people that are
- 56:11Speaker 1: trying to cover it up be held accountable so that
- 56:13Speaker 1: they would think twice before trying to pull this again,
- 56:16Speaker 1: you know, as boldly as they did the first time.
- 56:19Speaker 1: So thank you so much.
- 56:21Speaker 4: Be right about it and definitely let Trustan know and
- 56:24Speaker 4: you know, Chandra that we do have you guys back,
- 56:27Speaker 4: and we're praying, and not only praying, but we're physically
- 56:31Speaker 4: on top of this moment and behind you guys, and
- 56:34Speaker 4: whatever way we need to be, we will be in
- 56:36Speaker 4: all of our platforms, in our lives. We are there
- 56:39Speaker 4: for you because I understand that pain. And yeah, like
- 56:42Speaker 4: I told you before on TikTok, I apologize to someone
- 56:46Speaker 4: that lived near your community that just kind of overlooked
- 56:49Speaker 4: this thing and took the news media's report as go
- 56:53Speaker 4: and didn't look into it. And that's that's an error
- 56:57Speaker 4: on our part for doing so. Yeah, and so we
- 56:59Speaker 4: have to, as Angelust say, we have to be accountable
- 57:03Speaker 4: for each other, to each other and make sure that
- 57:06Speaker 4: these type of things don't happen. Because Tristan went through
- 57:09Speaker 4: something that is horrible and the more that I hear
- 57:13Speaker 4: about it, the more I listened to it, the more
- 57:15Speaker 4: I see that it was and that's why I was traumatized.
- 57:19Speaker 4: And so we do need to hold them accountable because
- 57:22Speaker 4: they know, and that's bottom line, they know what happened
- 57:25Speaker 4: to that baby, and they don't want to let us
- 57:27Speaker 4: know because it looks bad for the political and the
- 57:30Speaker 4: financial history interests of Frisco, Collin County and the state
- 57:33Speaker 4: of Texas. And so we have to call it out
- 57:36Speaker 4: and we have to hold them accountable.
- 57:38Speaker 8: Yes, one last thing before we go. Miss Weekly is
