- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's almost famous podcast. And honestly I would say this.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Ashley correct me if I'm wrong, but definitely we could
- 0:14Speaker 2: argue that our favorite person within the Bachelor franchise is
- 0:19Speaker 2: with us today.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Well, I mean, you're eliminating a lot of our friends,
- 0:23Speaker 3: which is kind of rude, but definitely, you know, somebody
- 0:27Speaker 3: on the.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Top of this, my friends. I don't even think about
- 0:29Speaker 2: it right now. I can't even name my friends.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Someone on your wedding guest list and mine and you
- 0:35Speaker 3: know I had you know, well, you had four hundred
- 0:39Speaker 3: people at your wedding, So I'm not sure what that says.
- 0:41Speaker 3: But I get my friends to my friends and yes,
- 0:46Speaker 3: she's here. She's wonderful, She's one of our favorites. It's
- 0:49Speaker 3: Caitlyn Burstow.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Wow, that was so nice. I didn't know you felt
- 0:53Speaker 4: that way about me. Ben, I like, I feel like
- 0:55Speaker 4: I always like poke your buttons or like press your buttons.
- 0:57Speaker 2: And oh you do, oh you do? Oh you made
- 1:01Speaker 2: me so mad.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Sometimes I make myself mad sometimes.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Goodness gracious, I try so hard to love you and
- 1:09Speaker 2: sometimes it's really hard.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Oh you guys, it's hard. I'm hard to love. Apparently
- 1:16Speaker 4: I'm learning that the hard way.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Okay, which is funny because on your season of the Bachelorette,
- 1:21Speaker 2: I was the one that told you that I felt
- 1:24Speaker 2: unlovable and I meant it and it has been a
- 1:28Speaker 2: marker on my life ever since. Then.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Well the tables have turned, my friend. You're now married
- 1:33Speaker 4: and I am not, and I feel unlovable.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I just found a nice enough girl. She's sweetheart, Caitlin.
- 1:42Speaker 2: We're here for many reasons today. One, we just want
- 1:46Speaker 2: to catch up with you and hear about your life,
- 1:48Speaker 2: and you're always up to incredible stuff. I mean, I
- 1:51Speaker 2: think we're both in awe of what you've made and
- 1:54Speaker 2: done from this world. But also because publicly you've hated
- 1:59Speaker 2: me for the last like two months, I guess, and
- 2:01Speaker 2: I never knew about it, and then all of a sudden,
- 2:03Speaker 2: I did and we had to talk about it on.
- 2:04Speaker 5: It but also neither did anyone else.
- 2:07Speaker 3: And now you're just creating public drama because you happened.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Yeah, look at Bachelor Nation, what is it? Bachelor Nation? Gossip?
- 2:18Speaker 2: Scoop.
- 2:19Speaker 3: I think Scoop would know about this, But it's okay
- 2:23Speaker 3: because we do want you guys to chat about this hilarity.
- 2:26Speaker 4: I do you feel like Bachelor Nation scoop or like
- 2:29Speaker 4: those kinds of pages. I don't know why, but they're
- 2:32Speaker 4: following like like hates me to my core. And it's
- 2:36Speaker 4: so tough because anytime they post something, obviously I want
- 2:39Speaker 4: to partake in my own abuse and shop for Payton
- 2:41Speaker 4: and read all the comments and so I literally just like,
- 2:44Speaker 4: holy crap, people hate me. But it's so bizarre. But
- 2:48Speaker 4: I was like, okay, well you start. What was your
- 2:51Speaker 4: side of the story, Ben.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Okay, So here's my side of the story. So here's
- 2:56Speaker 2: a little background on how we got here today. And
- 2:58Speaker 2: it's not gonna be where we sit for the whole show.
- 3:00Speaker 2: It's not that important, and it really isn't. It's more funny,
- 3:04Speaker 2: and I do want to celebrate Kaitlin and everything she's
- 3:07Speaker 2: up to. But here's what happened. Here's my perspective. We
- 3:12Speaker 2: had a trip to Monterey, California a few months ago
- 3:16Speaker 2: that Ashley wasn't able to attend. Chris Harrison was there
- 3:20Speaker 2: with Lauren Zema. Wells was there because he lives there
- 3:23Speaker 2: with his brother. Dean and Kaylan were there. Jason was
- 3:25Speaker 2: there as an invitee Ashley can attest to this. Jason
- 3:31Speaker 2: was invited for many reasons. We don't always know who's
- 3:33Speaker 2: gonna be there though, like we don't always have control
- 3:36Speaker 2: of who the invite list. We just asked for people
- 3:39Speaker 2: that we like. I obviously am friends with Jason. That's
- 3:41Speaker 2: not a secret, doesn't need to be a secret, but
- 3:45Speaker 2: we have kind of during these times, like we all
- 3:48Speaker 2: sit in on each other's shows, we pound out a
- 3:51Speaker 2: bunch of shows at one time because we're all in
- 3:53Speaker 2: one space. So this evening that we're talking about, I
- 3:56Speaker 2: was on a show, Chris Harrison's show that he co
- 3:59Speaker 2: hosts with Lauren Zema, and Jason was the guest, and
- 4:04Speaker 2: so I was a part of this interview. Well, supposedly
- 4:08Speaker 2: this interview went sideways at some point. I'll be honest,
- 4:11Speaker 2: this was after dinner. I couldn't tell you two things
- 4:14Speaker 2: of what I said until I had to re listen
- 4:16Speaker 2: to it, but pretty much I remember sitting in that
- 4:19Speaker 2: room being like, here's a deal. I'm friends with Jason,
- 4:23Speaker 2: I'm friends with Caitlin. I know Caitlyn very well. My
- 4:28Speaker 2: job here is to get However, Jason's feeling out of
- 4:31Speaker 2: him and then sit in that and never pick sides.
- 4:35Speaker 2: There's no sides to choose here. I don't know what
- 4:37Speaker 2: side to choose. So that interview comes out and Bacheloration
- 4:42Speaker 2: Scoop does this thing where they show that Caitlyn is
- 4:45Speaker 2: very upset with somebody from the franchise, and I immediately
- 4:49Speaker 2: text Ashley Ashley did I not and say, Kaitlyn's not
- 4:52Speaker 2: mad at us, right, Like, I don't know why she
- 4:53Speaker 2: would be, but I just had this feeling that she's
- 4:55Speaker 2: mad at me.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I know. I was like I saw her like
- 4:58Speaker 5: a week and a half ago. I don't think it's us.
- 5:00Speaker 5: I think she would have texted me directly.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I would hope she would text me directly, Like I
- 5:05Speaker 2: hope she'd be like, hey, Ben, you're a jerk, Like
- 5:07Speaker 2: why would you do this to me on air publicly?
- 5:11Speaker 2: And so I was like, yeah, she can't be mad
- 5:14Speaker 2: at me. Well, then all of a sudden, the rumors start.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I get started needing these messages that like why, like
- 5:18Speaker 2: Caitlyn's so mad at you? And then some of them
- 5:19Speaker 2: are like how could you do this to Caitlin? Like
- 5:21Speaker 2: you're and I was like, I don't know what I
- 5:23Speaker 2: did to Kaitlin. So I had to relisten. I was like,
- 5:25Speaker 2: I didn't really do anything to Kaylin. I was like
- 5:27Speaker 2: very balanced here. So I had to text Caitlin and
- 5:31Speaker 2: I was like, Kaitlin, if I hurt you, I am
- 5:32Speaker 2: so sorry. The last thing I want to do in
- 5:34Speaker 2: my life is hurt Caitlyn Bristow. Kaitlin Bristow and I
- 5:36Speaker 2: can talk about her all day has a huge impact
- 5:40Speaker 2: on who I am as a person's to day and
- 5:43Speaker 2: a part of my story. I don't want to hurt Kaitlin.
- 5:46Speaker 2: And she said I didn't hurt her, and so then
- 5:47Speaker 2: we're like, well, I don't know what's happening here. So
- 5:50Speaker 2: that's when I'll transition to you, Caitlin. Is all these
- 5:53Speaker 2: rumors start swirling. You're upset about an interview that was done.
- 5:56Speaker 2: You felt hurt by it, which is fair, and I
- 5:58Speaker 2: don't want to take that away from you. But why
- 6:02Speaker 2: were people associating that with being upse with me?
- 6:06Speaker 4: Okay? So I think everyone by this point knows that
- 6:11Speaker 4: I wear all feelings on my sleeve and I just
- 6:14Speaker 4: like react with emotion and my feelings get hurt very easily.
- 6:19Speaker 4: And I think that's like a big misunderstanding about me.
- 6:23Speaker 4: People would always say, like, what is one thing people
- 6:25Speaker 4: wouldn't know about you? I think people think I'm like
- 6:27Speaker 4: really tough and like rough around the edges and like
- 6:30Speaker 4: shit doesn't bother me. But I actually am like really
- 6:34Speaker 4: sensitive and I've been going through like in the last
- 6:38Speaker 4: I would say, year, I feel like I'm somehow more
- 6:40Speaker 4: sensitive than I ever have been. And so what hurt me?
- 6:45Speaker 4: It wasn't you at all. You got looped into the
- 6:49Speaker 4: group because I was emotional and I was hurt by
- 6:52Speaker 4: other things, and you just happen to be there. So
- 6:55Speaker 4: I should have not said these three men, I'm so
- 6:58Speaker 4: angry blah blah blah. Should have said two of the
- 7:01Speaker 4: men were pissing me off, and I should have left
- 7:03Speaker 4: you out of it. But it was just I was
- 7:06Speaker 4: in this I don't know dark place and we all
- 7:10Speaker 4: know how like the doom scrolling goes, and how your
- 7:14Speaker 4: emotions can just like hit like rock bottom sometimes scrolling
- 7:18Speaker 4: and you start thinking, like what I was thinking is
- 7:21Speaker 4: how is this breakup still having this shelf life? And
- 7:24Speaker 4: then I heard Chris Harrison say, like, are you surprised
- 7:27Speaker 4: at how long this breakup is having his shelf life,
- 7:30Speaker 4: and I'm like, well, it's because we all keep talking
- 7:32Speaker 4: about it, and like the breakup with Sean is even
- 7:34Speaker 4: still having shelf life sometimes, like that's kind of the
- 7:36Speaker 4: nature of a bachelor relationship. So I understand that it
- 7:40Speaker 4: was more just like I think. I think Jason was
- 7:45Speaker 4: like outwardly so hurt and I was inwardly really hurting,
- 7:50Speaker 4: and he was allowed to have his emotions and process
- 7:52Speaker 4: that however he likes, so if he needs to talk
- 7:55Speaker 4: about it, go on podcast, do whatever. I was like
- 7:58Speaker 4: feeling like, Okay, I hurt him, but like internally I'm
- 8:01Speaker 4: really hurting, And it felt like I have gone through
- 8:04Speaker 4: historically so much drama, so much drama with Chris Harrison.
- 8:09Speaker 4: It just felt like I felt like we were finally
- 8:12Speaker 4: in a good place again. He's somebody that like I
- 8:15Speaker 4: looked up to as a mentor in my life, as
- 8:16Speaker 4: a father figure, as a friend, and we'd been through
- 8:19Speaker 4: so much through like the hosting stuff, and like we
- 8:23Speaker 4: kind of got back on the same page. And of
- 8:25Speaker 4: course I was at his wedding and I love Lauren
- 8:27Speaker 4: so much, and I felt like we were back in
- 8:29Speaker 4: this place where I don't know, I didn't expect, like
- 8:31Speaker 4: him to be like poking for you know, Jason to
- 8:35Speaker 4: come on and talk. And it just felt like like
- 8:38Speaker 4: I speak to Jason every once in a while because
- 8:40Speaker 4: of dogs, and he's like, you know, I talked to
- 8:41Speaker 4: Chris Harrison every day and he's really been there for me,
- 8:44Speaker 4: and it kind of felt like I'm still grieving this
- 8:47Speaker 4: friendship and relationship with Chris that I always thought I had,
- 8:50Speaker 4: and I just get so emotional over things, and I
- 8:53Speaker 4: think I just take it to social media sometimes when
- 8:56Speaker 4: I shouldn't. And I hate when people think I do
- 8:58Speaker 4: that for attention because I actually hate the attention that
- 9:02Speaker 4: comes from it because I get anxiety and then I go,
- 9:04Speaker 4: why did I do that?
- 9:04Speaker 2: Why did I do that?
- 9:06Speaker 4: But I'm just such an open book at all times,
- 9:09Speaker 4: and you know, you just never know what mood I'm
- 9:12Speaker 4: going to be, and I'm either soft, spicy, or mad.
- 9:16Speaker 4: And that day I was angry and I felt like
- 9:21Speaker 4: I was just hurting. I was just hurting.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I get I get where you're hurting. I know Chris
- 9:27Speaker 2: loves you a lot, and I know you respects you
- 9:29Speaker 2: probably very similarly to how he feels about me. I'm
- 9:32Speaker 2: sure he's been really upset with me at times, but
- 9:35Speaker 2: also finds me as a trusted, you know, partner at
- 9:41Speaker 2: some level within this wild franchise. So my question there is,
- 9:47Speaker 2: if you hate the attention, why do you do it?
- 9:53Speaker 4: I don't have an answer for that. I true, it's
- 9:56Speaker 4: I don't like the attention of trying to be a
- 9:59Speaker 4: victim or you know, like being on the Reddit or
- 10:04Speaker 4: whatever the where the negative people like to like hate
- 10:07Speaker 4: on me. I don't like that attention I like I clearly,
- 10:11Speaker 4: like anyone who goes on a television show, likes attention
- 10:14Speaker 4: to some degree. Of course, I like attention to some degree.
- 10:17Speaker 4: I like getting attention on my podcast. I like getting
- 10:19Speaker 4: attention on my social media in a positive light. Sometimes
- 10:23Speaker 4: it's just I can't be perfect and I can't nail
- 10:26Speaker 4: my emotions every time and how I react to things,
- 10:28Speaker 4: and I'm kind of just like a hot mess at times,
- 10:31Speaker 4: and that comes across and then I get the attention
- 10:35Speaker 4: that I don't like, and then I always learn from it,
- 10:37Speaker 4: because anytime I do something that backfires on me, it's
- 10:40Speaker 4: an opportunity for me to go, Okay, let's not do
- 10:42Speaker 4: that again, or let's learn from it. And I feel
- 10:45Speaker 4: like I've just been on this freaking healing journey of
- 10:48Speaker 4: like who I actually am and what I want and
- 10:51Speaker 4: it's been like such a roller coaster and to navigate
- 10:54Speaker 4: it all on social media. Because I'm such an open,
- 10:57Speaker 4: open person, it gets so confusing. Like I think I
- 10:59Speaker 4: confuse myself. I think I confuse people who follow me.
- 11:02Speaker 4: But I'm just I just am who I am, and
- 11:07Speaker 4: it's it's frustrating for myself sometimes.
- 11:11Speaker 3: I think when it comes to social media, when like
- 11:12Speaker 3: we vent about anything, it we like the fact that
- 11:16Speaker 3: we get support and like you get people relating to
- 11:19Speaker 3: you where it's like, oh my gosh, I've been there,
- 11:21Speaker 3: like and then you feel better about your whatever you're
- 11:25Speaker 3: venting about.
- 11:26Speaker 4: I mean, vulnerability creates connection. Community creates connection. Sometimes when
- 11:32Speaker 4: I'm feeling really low and I talk about my mental health,
- 11:35Speaker 4: I'm doing it for the attention of That sounds negative,
- 11:39Speaker 4: but really I'm doing it for like a sense of community.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Something that I love so much is the following that
- 11:45Speaker 4: I've built. I feel like I have like gained their trust.
- 11:49Speaker 4: I feel like they're a digital family. I feel like
- 11:51Speaker 4: I can share things. It's when it gets outside of
- 11:54Speaker 4: my like you know, supportive community that the noise gets
- 11:58Speaker 4: really loud and negative. But I just I love the
- 12:03Speaker 4: majority of people who follow me, and I feel like again,
- 12:06Speaker 4: I've just built this loyalty and share so much with everybody.
- 12:10Speaker 2: The part that I think is how this all comes
- 12:14Speaker 2: full circle really is you have built a community of
- 12:19Speaker 2: people since your time as a bachelorette that loves you
- 12:25Speaker 2: because you are life to them. You aren't like always
- 12:30Speaker 2: saying the right thing right. You aren't always like approaching
- 12:35Speaker 2: things in the perfect way, and then sometimes you absolutely
- 12:39Speaker 2: like are and like then you're learning from your mistakes,
- 12:42Speaker 2: and you're admitting to learning from your mistakes. The roller
- 12:44Speaker 2: coaster of life that all of us experience that all
- 12:47Speaker 2: of us know well that some of us hide from
- 12:50Speaker 2: the public. You aren't hiding, which will bring about like
- 12:54Speaker 2: criticism because if somebody just sees this headline that says, hey,
- 12:58Speaker 2: this is what happened in this moment, Like Caitlyn like
- 13:01Speaker 2: is really mad at Ben and they're like, wait, what's
- 13:03Speaker 2: happening here? I thought they were cool, Like I thought
- 13:05Speaker 2: everything was good, and they are not following you directly,
- 13:09Speaker 2: They're not able to see that, like this is the
- 13:11Speaker 2: roller coaster of life that Caitlyn is able to show
- 13:13Speaker 2: to her followers at all times, then there's criticism. But
- 13:17Speaker 2: if people are engaged with you day to day, they'll
- 13:19Speaker 2: know how you're feeling, and they'll know where you're going,
- 13:21Speaker 2: and they'll know where you're at. And I think that's
- 13:23Speaker 2: a beautiful thing that you've done, but not always easy.
- 13:26Speaker 2: And here's where my question comes again, is how do
- 13:29Speaker 2: you keep up with that?
- 13:29Speaker 4: Like?
- 13:30Speaker 2: How do you keep that pace up where you're always
- 13:32Speaker 2: keeping your followers engaged with where you're at emotionally?
- 13:36Speaker 4: I can't keep up. I honestly feel like and I
- 13:39Speaker 4: truly don't even think people really do know how I'm
- 13:41Speaker 4: feeling day to day because I do share, like I
- 13:44Speaker 4: think what on social media? I don't know if I
- 13:47Speaker 4: could find one person that doesn't just share what they
- 13:49Speaker 4: want people to see. So people are putting out what
- 13:52Speaker 4: they want you to see. I try and put out
- 13:54Speaker 4: things that like I'm like, well, ops, I messed up?
- 13:56Speaker 4: What ups I'm emotional? I have mental health issues. I
- 14:00Speaker 4: have depression, I have anxiety, I have really high highs,
- 14:02Speaker 4: I have really low lows. And I try and not
- 14:05Speaker 4: just put out what I want people to see all
- 14:08Speaker 4: the time, but still to some degree I do. So
- 14:11Speaker 4: it is hard to keep up with this thing that
- 14:16Speaker 4: like is almost like my own little reality show that
- 14:18Speaker 4: people tune into, because sometimes I'm like, I don't know
- 14:22Speaker 4: if I want to share that today, or if I
- 14:24Speaker 4: do share something that can cause assumptions towards somebody else,
- 14:28Speaker 4: or they can think I'm mad about this. Like I
- 14:30Speaker 4: posted song lyrics to something once and people are like, ooh,
- 14:33Speaker 4: that's a dig at Jason, and I'm like, it actually wasn't.
- 14:36Speaker 4: But I guess you wouldn't know that because you don't
- 14:37Speaker 4: know the other situation I'm in. Because now I'm trying
- 14:40Speaker 4: to keep like if I go on dates or if
- 14:42Speaker 4: I'm seeing somebody, like I want to keep it so sacred.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I don't.
- 14:46Speaker 4: I don't want to hide as in like I'm not
- 14:48Speaker 4: ever going to dinner with them, or I'm not going
- 14:49Speaker 4: to go to a movie or whatever. But I want
- 14:52Speaker 4: I don't want to like be teasing my audience that
- 14:54Speaker 4: I have like built trust with. I want to like
- 14:57Speaker 4: protect my relationship and I want want to introduce It's
- 15:01Speaker 4: almost like they're my kids, Like I want to introduce
- 15:03Speaker 4: them when I feel ready, when I know that this
- 15:05Speaker 4: actually could be the person because I feel like, you know,
- 15:09Speaker 4: we get we all get so excited. And my last relationship,
- 15:11Speaker 4: we got so excited to put there, put it out there,
- 15:14Speaker 4: and we got attention from that, and I think we
- 15:16Speaker 4: both really liked that attention. And then we were like, Okay,
- 15:20Speaker 4: look people are rooting for us. This is fun. Kind
- 15:22Speaker 4: of what you were saying, Ashley, where like you find
- 15:24Speaker 4: this sense of like support a support system online and
- 15:28Speaker 4: then you get lost in it and I'm I'm really
- 15:31Speaker 4: trying to figure out what it is that that I
- 15:34Speaker 4: want to share, that I want to keep sacred, and
- 15:36Speaker 4: that I that I want to like.
- 15:40Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 15:40Speaker 4: It gets very confusing because I don't know how to
- 15:44Speaker 4: keep up with it myself. So the answer is I
- 15:46Speaker 4: don't know. How do I keep up? I don't know.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Yeah, you have any more questions for Caitlin about well.
- 16:02Speaker 2: I don't know if I have any more questions. This
- 16:05Speaker 2: is the best part about And if Kaitlyn ever would
- 16:07Speaker 2: like to speak with me and be the controller of
- 16:11Speaker 2: the arena, I would love that to happen. I think
- 16:14Speaker 2: what I would like people to know about Caitlyn and
- 16:18Speaker 2: I's relationship, this is how.
- 16:20Speaker 6: I would explain my relationship Son of a Biscuit. Actually
- 16:25Speaker 6: stay quiet and it can, Kaitlyn, you can correct this.
- 16:34Speaker 6: Since the first time we've met, there has always been
- 16:37Speaker 6: this admiration towards you from me and this confusion from
- 16:42Speaker 6: me towards you. Like, I think we're very different humans
- 16:44Speaker 6: and we see the world very differently, but there's a
- 16:47Speaker 6: an intersection there that has always been this kind of
- 16:50Speaker 6: beautiful like intersection and this beautiful moment of like, but
- 16:54Speaker 6: like it's a safe place, it's a safe it's a
- 16:58Speaker 6: safe space. But yeah, we we're going to battle, we're
- 17:01Speaker 6: going to be confused, but we're also just going to
- 17:03Speaker 6: like have a really good time because the world, for
- 17:06Speaker 6: as different as we see it, we also like enjoy
- 17:08Speaker 6: the same similar things.
- 17:09Speaker 2: We enjoy people. We do enjoy the attention, we enjoy authenticity,
- 17:14Speaker 2: and we never really know what we're feeling at any moment,
- 17:16Speaker 2: and it can always go sideways quickly, Yes, And I
- 17:21Speaker 2: think that's where throughout the last I don't mean how
- 17:24Speaker 2: many years since we've done the Bachelorette together, eight nine years, Like,
- 17:30Speaker 2: I think it's always been the way that like we've
- 17:32Speaker 2: stayed at least reasonably close compared to most you know
- 17:36Speaker 2: past contestants and leads, is because there always has been
- 17:40Speaker 2: that understanding, right like I was the lead after you,
- 17:43Speaker 2: Like that's sometimes a very awkward dynamic, and I think
- 17:48Speaker 2: I would want everybody to know that our relationship for
- 17:52Speaker 2: as like even if these things, these stories swirl. The
- 17:56Speaker 2: thing that I never want people to do, and what
- 17:58Speaker 2: hurt me the most was that, like anybody would ever
- 18:00Speaker 2: think that I lost any type of care for Kaitlin Bristow.
- 18:03Speaker 2: I've always respected you, I've always cared about you. I
- 18:07Speaker 2: always want what's best for you, and I would always
- 18:09Speaker 2: believe that you would want the same for me. That's
- 18:14Speaker 2: where this whole thing got really hurtful for me personally.
- 18:18Speaker 4: I totally understand that, Like I wish I could take
- 18:21Speaker 4: that moment back, because you did get looped in and
- 18:23Speaker 4: that is totally on me, And I told you when
- 18:26Speaker 4: we were texting back and forth, I'm just like, oh
- 18:29Speaker 4: my gosh, no it was not you. I was hurting
- 18:31Speaker 4: in the moment. We all know how I do this sometimes,
- 18:34Speaker 4: and I am so deeply sorry for even involving you
- 18:37Speaker 4: in that because I should have involved anyone. I should
- 18:39Speaker 4: have just kept it to myself and processed it alone
- 18:44Speaker 4: or with my therapist, which I did later, and I
- 18:47Speaker 4: did delete it because I was like, Caitlin, does stop
- 18:50Speaker 4: and I deleted it, but of course there's screenshots. But
- 18:53Speaker 4: I am I am sorry that you got looped into
- 18:55Speaker 4: that because I, like you said, we've always had this great,
- 18:59Speaker 4: healthy relationship over nine years, like during the show, after
- 19:03Speaker 4: the show, when you became the lead, Like, I feel
- 19:05Speaker 4: like we've always been nothing but supportive of one another
- 19:08Speaker 4: and super transparent. And some people just see this, like
- 19:11Speaker 4: you know, on a zoom or a podcast or on
- 19:14Speaker 4: social media, but we do have a friendship outside of
- 19:17Speaker 4: all of that, and I feel like, I feel like
- 19:19Speaker 4: what I really know about us is we can be
- 19:21Speaker 4: totally transparent, sorry, transparent and authentic with each other, even
- 19:27Speaker 4: if it's like Caitlin, what the fuck are you doing?
- 19:29Speaker 4: And I'm like, yeah, that was stupid. I'm sorry. So
- 19:31Speaker 4: that was stupid, and I'm sorry, And.
- 19:33Speaker 2: If you were mad at me, like I would just
- 19:35Speaker 2: hope you call me now to transition this whole conversation
- 19:40Speaker 2: this started, I think literally, and what people might not
- 19:43Speaker 2: know is it happened in the Fantasy Suite during your
- 19:47Speaker 2: season of the bachelorette now. No, no, no, no, no, I
- 19:52Speaker 2: won't go as far as.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Is this where I'm supposed to take over with that
- 19:55Speaker 5: new narrative.
- 19:56Speaker 2: No, no, no, you won't not yet. Yeah, I go
- 20:00Speaker 2: as far as you'll go prior. But what I will
- 20:04Speaker 2: say is there as a moment and I knew I
- 20:08Speaker 2: was going home, Like it was not an It was
- 20:10Speaker 2: not a shock to me. I was sad about it.
- 20:12Speaker 2: There was confusion about it. There was like, hey, this
- 20:16Speaker 2: whole thing's been awesome, But I knew I was going
- 20:18Speaker 2: home because I asked you directly, what in the world's
- 20:21Speaker 2: happening here? And you're like a lot like Sean and
- 20:26Speaker 2: Nick are fighting every day. They have not stopped fighting.
- 20:30Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, it's why I've been locked in
- 20:31Speaker 2: a hotel room for a week, Like they won't stop fighting,
- 20:34Speaker 2: so I can't even come out and hang out like
- 20:36Speaker 2: they've been everywhere. And I was like what what, Like
- 20:39Speaker 2: where are your feelings at towards this, Like how's this
- 20:41Speaker 2: thing going to end? And you're like, I don't know,
- 20:44Speaker 2: but I have to figure it out. But like pretty much,
- 20:46Speaker 2: I think what you said was between those two, like
- 20:48Speaker 2: I've got to figure that out, and I think you knew.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I don't think there was like a question mark on
- 20:53Speaker 2: like who's right for me. It's like I got to
- 20:54Speaker 2: figure that whole thing out. And it was very obvious
- 20:57Speaker 2: to me that I'm going home, which is fine. I
- 21:00Speaker 2: get it, totally cool, Like I had a good time.
- 21:03Speaker 2: We had a lot of fun. I knew I was
- 21:05Speaker 2: gonna like be friends with you for a long time
- 21:08Speaker 2: or at least I hope that. Do you like, do
- 21:11Speaker 2: you remember it the same way?
- 21:13Speaker 5: I really?
- 21:14Speaker 4: I have like a very sweet, funny and the amazing
- 21:21Speaker 4: memory of our fantasy sweet because it was like I
- 21:25Speaker 4: remember sitting by the fire and asking you like straight
- 21:30Speaker 4: up like like Shaunnick, and you're like, wow, okay, so
- 21:34Speaker 4: it's not me. It's like like who are you thinking
- 21:39Speaker 4: like Shaunnick? And you're like, oh okay. And then I
- 21:42Speaker 4: was like, well no, no, no, no, no, you can tell
- 21:45Speaker 4: you it was We had a great time. But it
- 21:50Speaker 4: was funny because I remember saying that and being like
- 21:53Speaker 4: that was so stupid, Caitlin, because it was more like
- 21:58Speaker 4: that was like produces he manipulation in my brain of
- 22:02Speaker 4: like I got to ask Ben what the real side
- 22:05Speaker 4: is because Ben's honest, and he's gonna tell me the
- 22:07Speaker 4: truth of what is really going on behind the scenes.
- 22:10Speaker 4: But it came across as like Ben or not being
- 22:14Speaker 4: Sean or Nick, and you were kind of like, oh, okay.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I like all that. Let's just finish this bottle
- 22:20Speaker 2: of whiskey and see what happens.
- 22:22Speaker 4: We did drink a lot of whiskey. I will tell
- 22:25Speaker 4: you after our fantasy suite, I actually liked you more
- 22:29Speaker 4: than before after our fantasy suite, and I think you
- 22:34Speaker 4: know this by now debated I wanted to send Nick
- 22:37Speaker 4: home over you because at the end of the day,
- 22:38Speaker 4: I knew I was picking Sean, and I wanted you
- 22:40Speaker 4: to come along further, but they wanted you to be
- 22:42Speaker 4: the bachelor.
- 22:43Speaker 3: So that's when I'm supposed to come into this conversation
- 22:46Speaker 3: and say that you basically tell Jared the same thing,
- 22:49Speaker 3: and you and Jared talk about this every time you
- 22:50Speaker 3: see each other, and it's always a good laugh that basically, Nick,
- 22:54Speaker 3: Ben and Jared were all interchangeable in your top four
- 22:58Speaker 3: because you were just so soild shot and you kind
- 23:01Speaker 3: of like, I kind of enjoyed all three of their
- 23:04Speaker 3: company equally.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I like loved you guys, all so much and like
- 23:13Speaker 4: not in similar ways, very different, but it was it
- 23:16Speaker 4: was just like my season was the Nick and chancho
- 23:19Speaker 4: And it's so funny because still to this day, like
- 23:22Speaker 4: talk about shelf life. I'm still to this day talking
- 23:26Speaker 4: about those two on podcasts and interviews and situations because
- 23:30Speaker 4: I mean, it is such a pivotal moment in your
- 23:32Speaker 4: life and a big part of your life and where
- 23:33Speaker 4: you are at today. And it's so funny.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Because you and Nick are so relevant. Still.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Oh then, I mean, it's crazy, It's it's actually crazy.
- 23:43Speaker 4: And then you know, I heard Sean say something on
- 23:47Speaker 4: a podcast where he was like, yeah, well clearly it
- 23:50Speaker 4: wasn't like a real relationship or real love, and like
- 23:53Speaker 4: that was.
- 23:53Speaker 2: The one that was the That was the interview with
- 23:57Speaker 2: Lauren where I was like, whoa, hey, wait.
- 23:59Speaker 5: Wait who said this?
- 24:01Speaker 2: Sean and Lauren did a together when I was acually
- 24:05Speaker 2: what was two years of my wife. Then both of.
- 24:08Speaker 5: Them were kind of an agreeance.
- 24:11Speaker 4: I say that sad, my feelings are so hurt. Were
- 24:14Speaker 4: you the same?
- 24:15Speaker 1: Ben?
- 24:15Speaker 4: I was like, that was so real to me. That
- 24:18Speaker 4: was like one of the most in love I've ever
- 24:20Speaker 4: been in my whole life, and I thought I was
- 24:21Speaker 4: going to marry them, and it was so real to me.
- 24:23Speaker 4: So to hear and be like, yeah, obviously wasn't real.
- 24:25Speaker 4: I was like, that was including the season and our
- 24:29Speaker 4: time together that's four years.
- 24:31Speaker 3: And yeah, I was offended for both of you. Yeah,
- 24:34Speaker 3: and it wasn't true. I could just tell that that
- 24:36Speaker 3: was a lie, especially from Shanside.
- 24:39Speaker 5: Sorry man.
- 24:40Speaker 4: And my biggest year in life, Like, my biggest fear
- 24:44Speaker 4: is from like still rocks me from my parents' divorce.
- 24:48Speaker 4: I thought they had the most beautiful relationship. They were
- 24:51Speaker 4: so close, but I feel like my dad fell out
- 24:54Speaker 4: of love with my mom and they got divorced. My
- 24:57Speaker 4: biggest fear always is that someone's going to be so
- 24:59Speaker 4: in love with me and then they're going to fall
- 25:00Speaker 4: out of love with me. And I felt like that's
- 25:02Speaker 4: what happened with Sean, and then to hear him validate everything,
- 25:05Speaker 4: I was like eight years later, nine years and still like, wow,
- 25:09Speaker 4: it still hurts.
- 25:10Speaker 2: It was because they are very real to us. I mean,
- 25:13Speaker 2: they're yeah, like there. I don't see that relationship as
- 25:16Speaker 2: just like out, you know, offset of my life. This
- 25:19Speaker 2: was a relationship that affected me greatly and then also
- 25:23Speaker 2: led me to my wife. Let me see, hey, where
- 25:25Speaker 2: did we not work here in this past relationship that
- 25:28Speaker 2: led me to my wife today? And that's beautiful and
- 25:31Speaker 2: good and all works out in the end. But even
- 25:34Speaker 2: to hear that that piece of my story was not
- 25:37Speaker 2: impactful for somebody else who was also very involved, was hurt. Yeah.
- 25:41Speaker 2: It did sadden me. It did confuse me a lot,
- 25:44Speaker 2: Like it made me go back to the Hey, Kaylin,
- 25:47Speaker 2: I don't know what you think of this, but I
- 25:49Speaker 2: feel unlovable like that. It brought me back to that moment,
- 25:52Speaker 2: did you guys Tach?
- 25:53Speaker 5: After that podcast came out it no, no, no, you
- 25:58Speaker 5: and Ben.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Know you and be like, hey, our exes got together
- 26:03Speaker 3: and said that they really didn't love us.
- 26:05Speaker 2: They can say what they want. At this point, in
- 26:07Speaker 2: my opinion, it's like I know what it was for me,
- 26:10Speaker 2: and that's all that matters. Like that really is all
- 26:12Speaker 2: that matters. I know what it meant to me. And
- 26:14Speaker 2: if if somebody's like, hey, I did this for two
- 26:16Speaker 2: and a half years and it didn't mean that to me,
- 26:18Speaker 2: then I'm like, well that's you can figure that one out,
- 26:21Speaker 2: Like I don't know what Yeah, Well.
- 26:23Speaker 4: It's kind of like that same thing where I feel
- 26:26Speaker 4: something so much in the moment where my feelings were
- 26:28Speaker 4: so hurt, and then once you think about it and
- 26:31Speaker 4: process it, I'm like, well, if that was his experience,
- 26:33Speaker 4: like I can't change what he felt or what his
- 26:36Speaker 4: experience was, like I I and I don't know if
- 26:39Speaker 4: that's true what they're saying. You know, they could just
- 26:41Speaker 4: be like, oh, yeah, it wasn't real because it didn't
- 26:43Speaker 4: work out whatever, But I just have to be like, well,
- 26:47Speaker 4: we both had different experiences there, and like you said,
- 26:50Speaker 4: it led you to your wife, and imagine all the
- 26:54Speaker 4: imagine who this is going to lead me to. I've
- 26:56Speaker 4: got all the practice in the world. I've learned so
- 26:58Speaker 4: many lessons. I feel like that next one, I'm like,
- 27:01Speaker 4: third times.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Of Charm, that's right. Well, I mean that is a question.
- 27:06Speaker 2: I don't know how to phrase this. Caitlin. Do you
- 27:09Speaker 2: feel like, at this point in your life you have
- 27:11Speaker 2: experienced authentically true love?
- 27:15Speaker 4: Yes? Yes, I know. I think sometimes this is so crazy.
- 27:25Speaker 4: I'm always so embarrassed to say this out loud, and
- 27:28Speaker 4: anyone who listens to my podcast knows this story. But like,
- 27:32Speaker 4: I think I truly experienced true love with before I
- 27:34Speaker 4: even went on the show. I think my relationship before
- 27:37Speaker 4: going on that show was like the right person, wrong timing,
- 27:43Speaker 4: Like I still to this day will always say like
- 27:45Speaker 4: he was the one that got away and I had
- 27:48Speaker 4: similar similar feelings to him with Sean and then yeah,
- 27:55Speaker 4: so I think I did, and like I think with Jason,
- 27:58Speaker 4: it was so much like you know, when you date
- 28:01Speaker 4: somebody for so long and all of their qualities that
- 28:04Speaker 4: made you hurt so badly, and then the next person
- 28:07Speaker 4: they are the opposite of that, so you're like, this
- 28:10Speaker 4: must be what is right for me because they're the
- 28:12Speaker 4: opposite of this person. I feel like that's what I
- 28:14Speaker 4: experienced with Jason, where he was opposite of Sean in
- 28:18Speaker 4: so many ways. So I thought like, oh I broke
- 28:20Speaker 4: the cycle. Oh I'm going different, I'm doing something that
- 28:24Speaker 4: this is going to work out. And then you know,
- 28:27Speaker 4: relationships are hard, man, Relationships are so hard, and especially
- 28:32Speaker 4: when there's a third person involved, aka the Internet, and
- 28:36Speaker 4: that's a lot of you know, voices, and it's just
- 28:39Speaker 4: relationships are so challenging. And I don't know if it's
- 28:42Speaker 4: just me or if it's all relationships, but I find
- 28:45Speaker 4: them so hard.
- 28:48Speaker 5: Do you keep tabs on the guy from before.
- 28:52Speaker 4: No, Okay, see this is another difference. I can't. He
- 28:55Speaker 4: is totally private. He retired from playing.
- 29:00Speaker 2: He was the one that got away. If he's totally
- 29:02Speaker 2: private and like off the radar, gosh thing, he would.
- 29:04Speaker 5: Have got to have some friend follow him.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Oh my god. I'm all the way turned on by
- 29:09Speaker 4: him still because he's private on Instagram. He retired from hockey,
- 29:15Speaker 4: he's in like the finance world. He's private, his family's private.
- 29:20Speaker 4: I like can't creep him at all, which is so
- 29:23Speaker 4: wonderful because imagine if I could. But he's married with
- 29:26Speaker 4: three kids.
- 29:27Speaker 7: So let me.
- 29:30Speaker 4: I'm not trying to like go get him back by
- 29:32Speaker 4: anything good for her, Yes, but it's I still found
- 29:38Speaker 4: that the most challenging breakup I've ever been through in
- 29:41Speaker 4: my life. Now with Sean, we broke up and he
- 29:44Speaker 4: kind of went under the radar. He you know, worked
- 29:46Speaker 4: out at his gym and he did his own thing,
- 29:48Speaker 4: and he didn't really date in the public, and I
- 29:50Speaker 4: didn't really have to even though we were living in
- 29:52Speaker 4: the same city. Like I kind of just moved on
- 29:55Speaker 4: really quickly and kind of didn't have to see anything.
- 29:59Speaker 4: And then and now I'm like, oh my gosh, everything's
- 30:02Speaker 4: so in my face because I'm trying to like say
- 30:06Speaker 4: private with like anyone I date. But Jason's like.
- 30:09Speaker 5: Oh, hey, why don't you post the.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Same video with the same song at the same time
- 30:12Speaker 4: as me. Let's get people talking about us. And I'm like, ah,
- 30:16Speaker 4: I've never heard a deal with this before, and it's
- 30:18Speaker 4: just so in my face. And even though like it's
- 30:20Speaker 4: it was my decision and I have respect for him,
- 30:24Speaker 4: it's just still like, damn, he liked those.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Numbers, and how do you know that he has this
- 30:30Speaker 3: strategy going on where they post the same time Because people.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Send me shit, I'm like, I'm I'm the best at
- 30:39Speaker 4: I really, I really don't go looking at X's things. Now.
- 30:42Speaker 4: If my first one was open and not private, I
- 30:45Speaker 4: probably would, but I will, like, I just don't want
- 30:47Speaker 4: to see things. So when anything shows up on my
- 30:50Speaker 4: for you page or on TikTok, where I just immediately
- 30:54Speaker 4: click not for me or mute or not interested in this,
- 30:58Speaker 4: so I I like try to not see it because
- 31:02Speaker 4: I just don't want to overthink it or be hurt
- 31:04Speaker 4: or overreact. And so the people just say they're like,
- 31:07Speaker 4: did you see this? Do you see what?
- 31:09Speaker 5: Does happening?
- 31:09Speaker 4: Did you see this? Do you see this picture? Did
- 31:11Speaker 4: you see what it was on dumis? And I'm like, no,
- 31:14Speaker 4: I didn't, and I don't want to, so thanks for
- 31:16Speaker 4: bringing it to my attention.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Mom.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I am mom, some rapid fire here to kind
- 31:33Speaker 2: of figure this whole thing out with you, because it's
- 31:36Speaker 2: always a blast, and you are also very vulnerable and
- 31:39Speaker 2: nobody's gonna not know where you're thinking at what moment.
- 31:44Speaker 2: One of my confusions towards your life choices, Kaitlin, before
- 31:48Speaker 2: we get into how you co parent dogs, because that's
- 31:50Speaker 2: everybody's question is why, like how National is not a
- 31:54Speaker 2: big city. My wife's in Nashville. I've been to Nashville
- 31:56Speaker 2: many times. Knowing you, how do you not have extreme
- 32:01Speaker 2: anxiety every time you go out on a date or
- 32:04Speaker 2: go anywhere in public that you're going to run into
- 32:06Speaker 2: one of the people that you've dated now that I've
- 32:08Speaker 2: also would like make you feel very awkward. I never
- 32:11Speaker 2: wanted to run in the lorn for years. I could
- 32:14Speaker 2: you know at this point I don't care this taking me.
- 32:16Speaker 2: I would say it took me a good six years
- 32:18Speaker 2: to never want to like run into her in public again.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Yes, thank you for that is so relatable. I always
- 32:24Speaker 4: feel like I'm so dramatic or like such.
- 32:26Speaker 2: A baby, but I'm like, I have no interest.
- 32:29Speaker 4: It takes time to like grieve a person, grieve a relationship,
- 32:33Speaker 4: grieve who you thought somebody was. Like it is so
- 32:36Speaker 4: I do. I still to this day have anxiety every
- 32:38Speaker 4: time I go out thinking I'm going to run into someone.
- 32:41Speaker 4: It's a little different with Jason because we do co parents,
- 32:45Speaker 4: so we can get into that. So it's a little
- 32:47Speaker 4: different because I could be like, hey, look at this
- 32:51Speaker 4: funny thing wrong and then today and then like move on.
- 32:54Speaker 4: But with Sean, I feel like there's still some sort
- 32:56Speaker 4: of level of bitterness there, or I guess there is
- 33:00Speaker 4: in this relationship too. I don't know. I just haven't.
- 33:02Speaker 5: Committed a conversation that could have been had or could
- 33:06Speaker 5: be had.
- 33:07Speaker 4: Right Like, I wouldn't even know what to say. I
- 33:10Speaker 4: don't know if he'd want to even say hello, I've
- 33:11Speaker 4: a run I've only run actually.
- 33:14Speaker 5: Had the conversation. You did run into him ones.
- 33:17Speaker 4: Only one time, and he was on the other end
- 33:19Speaker 4: of a restaurant and I was sitting at a table
- 33:23Speaker 4: and I was like, I remember looking I was like,
- 33:26Speaker 4: it's like a trendy Sean booth. Like he's like, looks
- 33:28Speaker 4: really trendy. And then I was like, oh, that is
- 33:30Speaker 4: a trendy little Sean booth. Oh wow, he looks great.
- 33:33Speaker 4: And then we've had a couple like text exchanges, but
- 33:37Speaker 4: that's pretty much it.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Yeah, So how do you function in your city? Knowing
- 33:42Speaker 2: this is always a possibility. I would not be okay,
- 33:44Speaker 2: I wouldn't like and there's no there There isn't even
- 33:47Speaker 2: anger or like resentment. It's just like I don't know
- 33:50Speaker 2: what I would say. I don't know how. It's uncomfortable,
- 33:52Speaker 2: like to a person that I, once in my life
- 33:54Speaker 2: was the most comfortable with. Now I am the least
- 33:58Speaker 2: comfortable with. And I don't want to have to figure
- 34:00Speaker 2: that one out in the moment, Like I don't even
- 34:03Speaker 2: know how to prepare myself.
- 34:04Speaker 4: No, And I go through so many different phases again
- 34:07Speaker 4: of like feeling mad or sad, or like rooting for him,
- 34:10Speaker 4: like him as a dad I think is so cool
- 34:12Speaker 4: because I saw the way he parented a dog and
- 34:15Speaker 4: I was like, oh, I bet he's going to be
- 34:16Speaker 4: an incredible father, and like there's certain things I just
- 34:19Speaker 4: have so many different emotions, So I honestly don't know,
- 34:21Speaker 4: but I do get anxiety about that. But I don't
- 34:25Speaker 4: I don't really go out in Nashville. I really just like,
- 34:28Speaker 4: I mean, what I would really like is him to
- 34:30Speaker 4: pull up next to me and I'm in my bronco
- 34:32Speaker 4: and I'm like, but yeah, I don't know. I'm just
- 34:42Speaker 4: I'm surprised it hasn't happened. But I wouldn't know how
- 34:45Speaker 4: to I wouldn't know how to act. I think I
- 34:47Speaker 4: would want to like hug it out and be like, hey,
- 34:50Speaker 4: should we talk, But then I'm scared he's gonna be like,
- 34:53Speaker 4: I hate you.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you might not get it. I get it this. Yeah,
- 34:58Speaker 2: Lauren is a is a great I've never questioned that,
- 35:01Speaker 2: but this year was the first time that I've seen
- 35:04Speaker 2: her in person. I actually didn't see her. I'm lying
- 35:06Speaker 2: when I say that. She her husband played in one
- 35:10Speaker 2: golf group behind me in a celebrity and she walked up.
- 35:14Speaker 2: She think about how cool this is of her. She
- 35:16Speaker 2: walked up to my mom and my wife. My wife
- 35:19Speaker 2: was like a little bit ahead and just said hi,
- 35:22Speaker 2: which was like huge for me. So my mom told
- 35:24Speaker 2: me afterwards, like, hey, I got to see Lauren. She
- 35:26Speaker 2: was really sweet and she came and said hi to me,
- 35:28Speaker 2: and I was like, that's amazing. I didn't see her,
- 35:30Speaker 2: but like that's all I really wanted, Like I just
- 35:33Speaker 2: need to know that she's cool to say hi to
- 35:34Speaker 2: me too, Like I don't know. I feel like it's
- 35:36Speaker 2: a given that it should be okay, but I just
- 35:38Speaker 2: want to know that she's cool to say hi to me.
- 35:40Speaker 2: If I'm cool to say, like, I don't know, it's weird.
- 35:43Speaker 4: I feel the same way, but okay, my dog's like
- 35:45Speaker 4: pulling the charger out of my computer. I feel the
- 35:49Speaker 4: same way. Like I just don't know, And like our
- 35:51Speaker 4: text exchanges haven't been like the most friendly, so then
- 35:55Speaker 4: I just don't know how it would be in person.
- 35:58Speaker 4: But I want it to be cool, like I want
- 36:01Speaker 4: I'm a big closure guy. I want closure on things,
- 36:05Speaker 4: and I don't think i've really felt that with that relationship.
- 36:10Speaker 4: I feel closure with Jason, and I still don't feel
- 36:13Speaker 4: like i've had that closure with Sean.
- 36:17Speaker 5: Well, you can invite him on your podcast.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Just bring them on. You could ask any question you want,
- 36:22Speaker 2: and if they say something weird and mean, it's all recorded.
- 36:25Speaker 2: It's amazing.
- 36:26Speaker 4: That's why he would say, no, there's no way he'd
- 36:29Speaker 4: come on my podcast.
- 36:30Speaker 3: For your own comfortability sake. You probably that would be
- 36:34Speaker 3: the preferred method, right, one hundred percent?
- 36:38Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, yeah, But then I would then it's like,
- 36:41Speaker 4: how honest when you're on a podcast, how honest. That's
- 36:44Speaker 4: why it's scary. I'm always so scared to do podcasts,
- 36:46Speaker 4: Like I had so much anxiety even about doing this one,
- 36:48Speaker 4: because I'm like, well, I'm just going to say what's
- 36:50Speaker 4: on my mind, and then it's going to turn into
- 36:52Speaker 4: a damn headline and then nobody's going to read the
- 36:54Speaker 4: actual article. They're just going to think I'm this raging Countey.
- 36:58Speaker 2: That No, that the best headline they could exist from
- 37:02Speaker 2: this whole episode would be Kaylen Bristow hates Ashley I
- 37:05Speaker 2: Ken Eddie. That's all I want and I want to
- 37:07Speaker 2: thought like that would be the most.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Shocking and the thing you just said it so now
- 37:11Speaker 3: they could make that.
- 37:12Speaker 2: That'd be amazing.
- 37:13Speaker 4: They could take anything.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and then they'd have to read below to find
- 37:16Speaker 2: out exactly what the truth is. Kaylin, I have only
- 37:20Speaker 2: one more weird question before you before we like kind
- 37:22Speaker 2: of dive into the last few minutes on all the
- 37:24Speaker 2: cool stuff you're up to, and I know there is
- 37:25Speaker 2: a lot. How do you co parent? Because I know this,
- 37:29Speaker 2: I do know this, and I'll tell you this from
- 37:30Speaker 2: Jason that it is probably the most difficult, like not
- 37:37Speaker 2: even the most rest just the most difficult thing to
- 37:39Speaker 2: figure out. How do you co parent dogs in the
- 37:42Speaker 2: midst of this situation? How are you doing it and
- 37:46Speaker 2: how are you making it work?
- 37:48Speaker 4: Well, it's it's really challenging because we're both obsessed with them,
- 37:54Speaker 4: and we're both really good dog parents, and the dogs
- 37:57Speaker 4: love both of us very much, and so I'll never forget.
- 38:03Speaker 4: Sean told me like, you can never see Tucker again
- 38:05Speaker 4: when we broke up, and I was like, I would
- 38:06Speaker 4: never do that to anybody. I would never do that
- 38:09Speaker 4: to Jason, and so co parenting seem like the only
- 38:12Speaker 4: option here. But I will say I don't think it's
- 38:15Speaker 4: good for the dogs. It's they have seemed more anxious
- 38:19Speaker 4: with the transitions. Romen specifically, like he gets really emotional
- 38:24Speaker 4: and like if Romin won't take a treat, like something's wrong,
- 38:27Speaker 4: and he's been doing that lately, and he doesn't want
- 38:29Speaker 4: to leave either house once he gets there, and he
- 38:31Speaker 4: doesn't know what to do, and I actually don't think
- 38:33Speaker 4: it's healthy for the dogs. And I think we're being
- 38:35Speaker 4: a little bit selfish because we both just want them
- 38:39Speaker 4: so badly. But I think it's also nice because you know,
- 38:44Speaker 4: like I would, I don't like the idea of putting
- 38:46Speaker 4: them in a kennel or leaving them somewhere. And we
- 38:51Speaker 4: both travel so much so we're able to look at
- 38:53Speaker 4: each other's schedules and say, look, I'm gone this time
- 38:56Speaker 4: and you're here, so could you watch them here? And
- 38:59Speaker 4: then either way, we both have really incredible people that
- 39:02Speaker 4: come house it and watch the dogs, who the dogs love.
- 39:04Speaker 4: So I feel like we're literally two humans that are
- 39:08Speaker 4: trying to do our best in that situation. But I
- 39:11Speaker 4: honestly don't think it's good for the dogs, and it
- 39:13Speaker 4: breaks my heart.
- 39:15Speaker 3: A couple questions. Did you have Romen before you got
- 39:17Speaker 3: together with Jason?
- 39:19Speaker 4: So I rescued Romen. Jason and I were doing long
- 39:23Speaker 4: distance okay, and Ramen, Yeah, and then Jason moved in
- 39:29Speaker 4: like I think five days after I got Ramen. I think,
- 39:31Speaker 4: which is.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Why in my head perhaps like Ramen is like yours, well,
- 39:35Speaker 3: and I could never but you don't like because of
- 39:38Speaker 3: the Sean thing. You don't even like want to say
- 39:40Speaker 3: that like it's yours because that was because also Sean's dog, Tucker,
- 39:45Speaker 3: was like felt like.
- 39:46Speaker 4: You're no, no, Romen's definitely mine. But I would I
- 39:51Speaker 4: would just I would also never separate these dogs. They
- 39:54Speaker 4: are so dependent on each other and they're like best friends.
- 39:58Speaker 4: So sometimes it's like, well why can't he and I'm
- 40:00Speaker 4: like absolutely not without each other. So yeah, it's really
- 40:05Speaker 4: it's really challenging and sad and scary, and it's like
- 40:08Speaker 4: you already have not enough time with the dog, and
- 40:11Speaker 4: to cut that in half again, I'm just like like
- 40:14Speaker 4: I'm way too sensitive about it. I could cry right
- 40:16Speaker 4: now just thinking about it.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I would never insinuate you separating the dogs
- 40:20Speaker 3: at all. I just feel like, why do I think
- 40:22Speaker 3: that the dogs are yours just because I'm closer friends
- 40:25Speaker 3: with you?
- 40:26Speaker 4: Yeah? Maybe maybe?
- 40:28Speaker 3: So then I'm also like I feel like Jason like
- 40:31Speaker 3: he went to Nashville because of you, and I think
- 40:34Speaker 3: that he could be happy other places, and it's like
- 40:36Speaker 3: I feel like he's actually staying in Nashville because of
- 40:38Speaker 3: the dogs.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know, because he definitely didn't seem to
- 40:43Speaker 4: be like the biggest fan of Nashville while we were together,
- 40:45Speaker 4: because I always wanted to well, at the first couple
- 40:48Speaker 4: of years, I didn't want to move. I loved my
- 40:49Speaker 4: house so much. And then I was like, don't you
- 40:51Speaker 4: think we should like get a house together, And he
- 40:54Speaker 4: was like, I'm just not sold on Nashville. And then
- 40:59Speaker 4: when we broke up, he was like, Nash's kind of
- 41:01Speaker 4: grown on me. I'm like, I hate you.
- 41:04Speaker 5: Give me my city back, okay. And then I think it's.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Like all good that you guys, you know, are sharing
- 41:11Speaker 3: the dogs right now.
- 41:12Speaker 5: Even though you're shaying that's not like necessarily the best
- 41:14Speaker 5: of the dog's mental health.
- 41:16Speaker 3: But in the fact that you, you know, you're both
- 41:20Speaker 3: singleish in the sense that like you're not married, you
- 41:22Speaker 3: don't have kids, right, So, how do you do you
- 41:26Speaker 3: feel like your things will change if, like, say, fast
- 41:29Speaker 3: forward five years, you're both married and with kids and
- 41:32Speaker 3: then you're like transferring dogs every weekend.
- 41:35Speaker 4: I asked him that, I said that, I said, what
- 41:37Speaker 4: is going to happen if, like, say, you meet a
- 41:40Speaker 4: girl in well, we're I don't know where, Florida, or
- 41:44Speaker 4: you meet another girl in New York and you get
- 41:46Speaker 4: married and you settle down, or maybe I find somebody
- 41:49Speaker 4: here and like, are you really going to come back
- 41:52Speaker 4: every two weeks just to like share the dogs and
- 41:55Speaker 4: is your partner going to be okay with that? Or
- 41:57Speaker 4: I'm like, in my head, I'm just like, can I
- 42:00Speaker 4: just rescue you a doggie for you and you just
- 42:03Speaker 4: fly fly?
- 42:07Speaker 2: I don't. I don't, honestly, Like, there's so many things
- 42:10Speaker 2: that would be easier to me than sharing dogs. I
- 42:15Speaker 2: can't imagine. I can't imagine the emotional roller coaster, and
- 42:20Speaker 2: I don't want to make you cry, Caitlin. But here's
- 42:22Speaker 2: what I'm thinking. I travel a lot right now, and
- 42:25Speaker 2: Whalen when I'm home sleeps on my legs like his
- 42:27Speaker 2: head lays on my legs every night, on my ankles.
- 42:30Speaker 2: And when I'm in a hotel room, you know what
- 42:31Speaker 2: I've had to start doing. That little son of a
- 42:34Speaker 2: biscuit makes me lay a pillow on my ankle so
- 42:37Speaker 2: I can fall asleep at night. It makes I'm tearing up.
- 42:42Speaker 2: That little asshole who drives me crazy also is the
- 42:47Speaker 2: one that controls my life when I'm in a hotel
- 42:49Speaker 2: room and makes me go I want to be home,
- 42:51Speaker 2: not only because my wife is there and she's my
- 42:53Speaker 2: best friend and we can like laugh and have fun.
- 42:55Speaker 2: But then at night when everything comes down, he lays
- 42:57Speaker 2: his head on my ankles and I can't sleep without it.
- 43:01Speaker 5: He really is crying, Guys, I know it's bullshit.
- 43:06Speaker 4: No, I totally get it. That makes me love you
- 43:09Speaker 4: even more that you're that much of a dog guy
- 43:11Speaker 4: like me, Like I my toxic trait is crying like
- 43:15Speaker 4: my dog's already passed when he's right in front of me.
- 43:17Speaker 4: Like I am so like they are. I feel like
- 43:22Speaker 4: they're both my soul dogs. I feel like I can't
- 43:25Speaker 4: when I go away from like even for three days,
- 43:28Speaker 4: I am like so sad. Hotels have been like putting
- 43:33Speaker 4: picture of frames in my hotel room of the dogs
- 43:35Speaker 4: for me, and I'm like, I don't know if this
- 43:37Speaker 4: helps or makes me even more sad, because I just
- 43:39Speaker 4: like stare at it and cry like I my obsession
- 43:43Speaker 4: with the dogs is honestly, I don't think it's healthy. Yeah,
- 43:47Speaker 4: I don't think it's healthy.
- 43:48Speaker 2: It's weird. It isn't healthy. There's nothing healthy about it
- 43:51Speaker 2: because they're not here for that long, and that's really sad.
- 43:55Speaker 2: And tough, and I have to get over it, the
- 43:58Speaker 2: fact that my life is going to be moving on
- 44:01Speaker 2: far beyond it. But it is absolutely ridiculous the amount
- 44:06Speaker 2: of emotion that little squirt can bring out in me,
- 44:10Speaker 2: especially when he frustrates me all the time.
- 44:12Speaker 3: I laughed still because Ben used to like roll his
- 44:16Speaker 3: eyes at me when I talk about Louis and then
- 44:20Speaker 3: he got waylan and now he's crying on the podcast.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just stupid. I don't know, it's just just.
- 44:27Speaker 4: It's not stupid. No, it's not it's not stupid. And
- 44:30Speaker 4: I get it. And you say, like, even though your
- 44:31Speaker 4: dogs frustrate you, my dogs could my dog could shit
- 44:34Speaker 4: on my face and I'd be like, it's okay, people,
- 44:38Speaker 4: I swear. I'm like, whatever they do is I'm like, oh, oh, it's.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Just he's just a weirdo.
- 44:52Speaker 5: It's time to hear her side of the story.
- 44:56Speaker 4: I love the show so much. I was like, please
- 44:59Speaker 4: throw my name in the mix.
- 45:00Speaker 5: I need to be in on this.
- 45:01Speaker 7: We were sure she was going to be the next bachelorette,
- 45:04Speaker 7: and then something changed.
- 45:07Speaker 4: I'm keeping things very very hush hush.
- 45:09Speaker 7: Fans of the Bachelor know exactly what we're talking about
- 45:13Speaker 7: Joe and Serena sit down for an intimate conversation with
- 45:16Speaker 7: Maria Georgis on Bachelor Happy Hour.
- 45:19Speaker 5: I have to ask.
- 45:21Speaker 3: I heard a rumor that you were dating at one
- 45:24Speaker 3: point one of Drake's best friends.
- 45:27Speaker 4: Oh, we have mor Sammy.
- 45:29Speaker 7: Listen to Bachelor Happy Hour on America's number one podcast network,
- 45:33Speaker 7: iHeart Open your free iHeart app and search Bachelor Happy Hour.
- 45:37Speaker 7: Listen now everywhere you listen to podcasts, and don't miss
- 45:40Speaker 7: Park two Monday Night.
- 45:47Speaker 2: All right, Caitlyn, are you dating?
- 45:50Speaker 4: Yeah? I am good.
- 45:52Speaker 2: So if somebody's listening, or if I know somebody in
- 45:55Speaker 2: Nashville who's an attractive, successful and.
- 45:58Speaker 4: In my way, I didn't say I'm dating scifically only
- 46:00Speaker 4: one person for the rest of my life. Well, I
- 46:03Speaker 4: do you know someone?
- 46:06Speaker 2: Yes, we have a hotbed in Nashville. Jess has a
- 46:08Speaker 2: lot of really cool, good looking friends that have good roots.
- 46:13Speaker 4: Oh wow, I like roots. Yes, I'm dating. I just
- 46:17Speaker 4: feel like I swear I'll always like say like, yeah
- 46:21Speaker 4: I'm dating or I'm going on a date. But I'm
- 46:23Speaker 4: I am literally never gonna introduce the internet or podcast
- 46:28Speaker 4: to anyone until I'm like married and pregnant, like I
- 46:31Speaker 4: would be like surprised, and then they'd be like what,
- 46:33Speaker 4: and I'll be like, well, I just wanted to make.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Sure we waited six months and it was worth it.
- 46:40Speaker 2: It's too much pressure when you do it earlier in
- 46:42Speaker 2: that and Jess wasn't. She had no following, she had
- 46:45Speaker 2: no like you know, she didn't really even understand this
- 46:48Speaker 2: whole thing, and so when we introduced her it was
- 46:49Speaker 2: a whole new ball game. But at that point we
- 46:52Speaker 2: were like, no, this is this is the real deal,
- 46:54Speaker 2: and so we'll walk through this together now. Instead of like.
- 46:58Speaker 4: Yeah, early that I could see that do it together,
- 47:02Speaker 4: I think I just don't. I just don't want to
- 47:10Speaker 4: up another relationship. Not that it was all my fault,
- 47:12Speaker 4: but like, I just feel like it's such the noise
- 47:16Speaker 4: is so loud all the time, especially and I understand
- 47:18Speaker 4: that people feel entitled to my dating life because of
- 47:21Speaker 4: being the Bachelorette and sharing my relationships, and I get that,
- 47:25Speaker 4: but I just I will as soon as I'm like, Okay,
- 47:29Speaker 4: this is this is the one now, m I.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Kaitlin, you just finished a tour, as we close out here,
- 47:38Speaker 2: a very successful tour. In fact, Bachelor Data just ranked
- 47:41Speaker 2: you one of the top podcasts. They really don't know
- 47:45Speaker 2: how many numbers you're pulling. I'm assuming you're very, very,
- 47:48Speaker 2: very successfully high. But I don't know how they keep
- 47:52Speaker 2: your numbers private.
- 47:53Speaker 5: From Yeah, your numbers are private. I want our numbers.
- 47:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:56Speaker 2: I don't want our numbers to be seen. I want
- 47:58Speaker 2: to always live. Yeah. Back, So Davey just said, let's
- 48:01Speaker 2: say this. You are a very successful podcast host. You
- 48:03Speaker 2: just finished a tour, a kind of a tell all tour.
- 48:07Speaker 2: You obviously have been kind of doing the Dance with
- 48:10Speaker 2: the Stars things for a while. You're loved with in
- 48:12Speaker 2: Bachelor Nation. What have you been up to? What's next?
- 48:16Speaker 2: What can people look forward to? What's going on in
- 48:19Speaker 2: your life? As we close up here?
- 48:22Speaker 4: The tour was so fun. Again, I called it the
- 48:25Speaker 4: tell all tour when I was feeling really petty. So
- 48:27Speaker 4: when I got there, I was like, m time has passed,
- 48:32Speaker 4: but it was still so fun. It's just like, I mean,
- 48:36Speaker 4: you did the Bachelor one where it was on the road, right,
- 48:40Speaker 4: you did that for a bit.
- 48:41Speaker 2: It got canceled because of COVID.
- 48:43Speaker 4: Oh well, it just gets so it's so nice to
- 48:46Speaker 4: interact with people like sometimes I just talked to a
- 48:49Speaker 4: wall and through a microphone and be like, is anyone
- 48:51Speaker 4: out there listening? And so to actually like be in
- 48:55Speaker 4: a room and feel the energy of all the listeners
- 48:58Speaker 4: and meet them, and I just I love being on stage.
- 49:02Speaker 4: I feel like I've loved it since I was little,
- 49:05Speaker 4: from dancing until today, Like I love entertaining. So that
- 49:09Speaker 4: was so fun for me to be able to go
- 49:10Speaker 4: out on tour and do that. And I've been on
- 49:13Speaker 4: tour so many other times, but this time just felt different.
- 49:15Speaker 4: I felt like, I'm like, I just love podcasting and
- 49:18Speaker 4: I love meeting these people that want to listen to me.
- 49:22Speaker 4: So that was really nice. My wine has been doing
- 49:25Speaker 4: really well. It's rolling out and a lot of targets
- 49:28Speaker 4: over different states all the time. And I still have
- 49:31Speaker 4: my wine club, which is really fun. We do like
- 49:34Speaker 4: get togethers every three months on Zoom. I also have
- 49:37Speaker 4: a book club where we raise money for charities and
- 49:39Speaker 4: it's really nerdy but really fun.
- 49:41Speaker 2: How can people find that I don't know. I know
- 49:42Speaker 2: Spadin Sparrow the Wine, but I don't know about the
- 49:44Speaker 2: book club.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:46Speaker 4: So the book club is just through my podcast off
- 49:47Speaker 4: the Vine. We I just post on the off the
- 49:51Speaker 4: vine page and then we'll pick a book. We're gonna
- 49:54Speaker 4: pick Hannah Brown's book Connect and then I've had all
- 49:57Speaker 4: the authors come on our zooms for our book club
- 49:59Speaker 4: meetings and it's actually so cute. I get cuted out
- 50:01Speaker 4: every time because I'm like, I'm such a nerd for books.
- 50:05Speaker 4: And then people have to pay to come into the zoom,
- 50:07Speaker 4: but all the proceeds go to a charity that aligns
- 50:09Speaker 4: with the book. So that's been really fun. So maybe
- 50:11Speaker 4: I'll read a book about coffee.
- 50:13Speaker 2: No, you could read my book kell On and plain Sight.
- 50:16Speaker 4: Oh okay, okay, read your book. And yeah, this pretty much.
- 50:22Speaker 4: I just podcasts every Tuesday and Thursdays come out and
- 50:26Speaker 4: if people like wine, I'm really really that was the hardest.
- 50:29Speaker 4: The wine business is ten million times harder than I
- 50:32Speaker 4: thought it was going to be. So if people want
- 50:34Speaker 4: to support and buy the wine, you can just go
- 50:37Speaker 4: on Spade and Sparrows dot com and type in your
- 50:39Speaker 4: zip code and see where it is near you.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Well, speaking of Hannah Brown, we had her on our
- 50:44Speaker 3: podcast recently. We also had Tyler on our podcast recently,
- 50:47Speaker 3: and then we just were next wedding and I just
- 50:50Speaker 3: feel like you're the next natural fit for Special Forces.
- 50:55Speaker 3: Oh God, they've had to have called you.
- 50:58Speaker 4: No, I don't think I could do that.
- 51:01Speaker 5: I feel like you could do it. I feel like
- 51:03Speaker 5: you would probably.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Win because you know us Bachelor Nation on Special Forces,
- 51:07Speaker 3: all we do is win, win, win.
- 51:08Speaker 4: That's true, but you know what it is actually For me,
- 51:11Speaker 4: I have a very big phobia of throwing up, and I.
- 51:14Speaker 5: Know I hear about this all the time.
- 51:16Speaker 4: For me, I'm so scared that I would throw up
- 51:18Speaker 4: on that show. It's like a very crippling fear of mine.
- 51:22Speaker 4: And so I feel like I could do anything except
- 51:24Speaker 4: for throw up. But I do have an idea for
- 51:27Speaker 4: a TV show that I want to do. So I've
- 51:30Speaker 4: been talking to people and networks and certain companies and
- 51:34Speaker 4: I have two really big ideas that I want to do.
- 51:36Speaker 4: So maybe maybe not Special Forces, and maybe I just
- 51:39Speaker 4: come out with my own show because I have really
- 51:41Speaker 4: good ideas.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Have good to do that?
- 51:44Speaker 5: Ben, Have they not asked you either?
- 51:46Speaker 2: Special Forces? I don't think so. Traders, yes, I think so,
- 51:50Speaker 2: You're like, I'm not sure. I don't know people. I
- 51:54Speaker 2: say no to a lot because well, because I got
- 51:57Speaker 2: married two years ago and like to go from marriage
- 52:01Speaker 2: to like, be on a show for what.
- 52:03Speaker 5: Special Forces is only ten days?
- 52:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think I be. I don't think I've
- 52:07Speaker 2: ever been asked to be in specially.
- 52:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's only ten days, which is why they get
- 52:10Speaker 3: the best cast.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:12Speaker 3: Oh that's why I like, Oh I could do ten days.
- 52:16Speaker 4: I'm going to maybe do ten days. But I also
- 52:18Speaker 4: think I would rather do Traders because they still have challenges.
- 52:23Speaker 4: But I'm like, it's bucketless for me to go to Scotland.
- 52:25Speaker 4: And I just love the host of that show so much.
- 52:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm so done and the show makes me feel dumb.
- 52:32Speaker 5: I have no idea what's going on. The game gameplay
- 52:35Speaker 5: is not my thing.
- 52:37Speaker 4: I love a gameplay.
- 52:39Speaker 5: You could rocket.
- 52:40Speaker 4: I'm so competitive Ashley is.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Ashley is just too authentic. She's too much of a mom.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Now I can't lie.
- 52:48Speaker 5: I can't.
- 52:49Speaker 3: I've never been able to lie or fake anything. Yeah,
- 52:55Speaker 3: I'm a Gemini, so we're good liars.
- 52:56Speaker 2: Just kidding, Kaitlin, here's the deal. Whatever season and life
- 53:00Speaker 2: takes you in next, it's going to be great. And
- 53:02Speaker 2: whatever you're doing now is incredible. And you've made not
- 53:06Speaker 2: only a foundation and a legacy for yourself that has
- 53:09Speaker 2: not only far outreached so many others who have been
- 53:12Speaker 2: a part of the show, but also just the influence
- 53:15Speaker 2: that you've had on your following will far outreach anything
- 53:18Speaker 2: you can ever imagine. And so whatever you're up to next,
- 53:21Speaker 2: whatever you do next, is going to be absolutely spectacular.
- 53:26Speaker 2: It's absolutely incredible. Jared and I kind of got to
- 53:29Speaker 2: talk about this at the wedding last weekend, But we
- 53:31Speaker 2: have a thousand times where we question our identity, we
- 53:34Speaker 2: question our impact, we question what in the world we're
- 53:36Speaker 2: doing with this whole thing, and we look around us
- 53:39Speaker 2: and we see so many people doing awesome stuff, and
- 53:42Speaker 2: you're always one of those. And so I want you
- 53:44Speaker 2: to like rest tonight and the idea that when I
- 53:47Speaker 2: think about people that have done great stuff with the
- 53:50Speaker 2: opportunity that was given to them, you're one of those people,
- 53:54Speaker 2: and you're doing a great job. And so whatever is
- 53:56Speaker 2: going to come in your future, it's going to be great,
- 53:58Speaker 2: and you've already done great. So I mean that and
- 54:02Speaker 2: I believe that. Thank you for coming on. It means
- 54:04Speaker 2: a lot to us, and we hope to talk to
- 54:07Speaker 2: you soon somewhere or another. Don't get mad at meeting now.
- 54:10Speaker 2: I don't like it. It makes me feel all weird.
- 54:12Speaker 4: I never was. You thought I was, and I should
- 54:15Speaker 4: have told you I wasn't, and I should have. If
- 54:17Speaker 4: I'm ever upset with you, I will text you directly.
- 54:19Speaker 4: You know that I have before. Thank you for saying
- 54:22Speaker 4: all that, because even even though you might think that,
- 54:26Speaker 4: I still feel like I'm not doing enough and I'm
- 54:29Speaker 4: not making a big enough impact and that like I'm
- 54:32Speaker 4: like questioning what I'm doing next and why there isn't
- 54:35Speaker 4: anything in the pipelines, and like I'm probably getting old
- 54:38Speaker 4: and blah blah blah. Like I do that too. I
- 54:40Speaker 4: feel like we're we're just all human beings trying to
- 54:43Speaker 4: do our best. But thank you for saying that. It
- 54:45Speaker 4: means a lot to me. I love you both so much, Ashley.
- 54:48Speaker 4: I feel like you didn't get to get much of
- 54:50Speaker 4: a word in, but I love you so much. And no,
- 54:52Speaker 4: I like this. This is supposed to be a hashing
- 54:54Speaker 4: out of good too. I'm just here for as a
- 54:55Speaker 4: sidekick today. And sometimes, you know, it feels weird when
- 54:59Speaker 4: you have like real ends on the podcast because you're like,
- 55:01Speaker 4: I'm Internet the real front, right. I know we're like
- 55:04Speaker 4: just caught up recently. But also I'm like, I don't.
- 55:07Speaker 4: I also don't want people to think like we just
- 55:09Speaker 4: come on here and talk about my exes like that's
- 55:11Speaker 4: It's just like the nature of the show and people
- 55:15Speaker 4: knowing who other people are, so it comes up. But yeah,
- 55:19Speaker 4: nothing but love for everybody.
- 55:21Speaker 5: But speaking of that, let's just get one headline. How
- 55:24Speaker 5: do you feel about Nick's wedding this weekend?
- 55:28Speaker 4: Was and I invited? That's the best headline I could
- 55:31Speaker 4: I didn't think I was going to get invited, but no,
- 55:34Speaker 4: I'm so happy. It's so funny because you know, people
- 55:38Speaker 4: people on in the world and who follow the Bachelor franchise,
- 55:42Speaker 4: they think of marriage and babies as the biggest accomplishment.
- 55:46Speaker 4: So I think that's why sometimes I feel like what
- 55:48Speaker 4: am I doing? And I look at you know, Nick,
- 55:51Speaker 4: It gets married, Sean has a baby, Jason has a
- 55:53Speaker 4: new girlfriend, and I'm like, fuck, But really, I'm just
- 55:56Speaker 4: so proud of like where I'm going and where I'm
- 55:59Speaker 4: at and who I'm trying to be. So I just
- 56:02Speaker 4: hope people see that.
- 56:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I said that. I meant what I
- 56:05Speaker 2: said that was not just said that was that was meant.
- 56:08Speaker 2: I believe you from the bottom of my heart.
- 56:10Speaker 4: Now.
- 56:10Speaker 2: Actually, to close this out, you said you'd be a sidekick.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Whose sidekick would you have been mine? Or Kaylin's?
- 56:17Speaker 3: Well, I feel like today I was. I was your
- 56:19Speaker 3: side cake then, but typically it'd be Kaitlin's. I would
- 56:25Speaker 3: be a sidekick to both of you. But I think
- 56:26Speaker 3: I'm more naturally your sidekake.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Then, because we're sidekicks every day.
- 56:30Speaker 5: Every like, multiple times a week.
- 56:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that makes sense.
- 56:34Speaker 4: Sidekick.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Yeah, she's a great sidekick. I love Ashley a lot.
- 56:37Speaker 2: We've done this eighty years. I couldn't do it without her. Well, hey,
- 56:40Speaker 2: I couldn't do without all of you listening. Uh, Caitlyn,
- 56:43Speaker 2: thanks for coming on. We appreciate you so much. Until
- 56:45Speaker 2: next time. This has been the Almost Famous podcast and
- 56:47Speaker 2: I've been been Ashley.
- 56:49Speaker 4: And I've been Caitlin. Yet.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 56:54Speaker 5: Gets it.
