- 0:00Speaker 1: Nobody warns you about the fridge. They warn you, as
- 0:03Speaker 1: a parent and as an adult, about kids screaming in public.
- 0:07Speaker 1: They warn you about sleep deprivation, they warn you about
- 0:10Speaker 1: how fast time truly does move, But nobody ever pulls
- 0:14Speaker 1: you aside and says, hey, one day, you're gonna stand
- 0:17Speaker 1: in front of a refrigerator like it personally betrayed you.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Because at some point, the fridge stops being an appliance
- 0:25Speaker 1: and it starts to become a personality test, a stress test,
- 0:29Speaker 1: sometimes even a crime scene. And it always happens the
- 0:32Speaker 1: same way. You open it, You stare and you think,
- 0:37Speaker 1: how do we have this much food and nothing to eat?
- 0:41Speaker 1: That's when you realize parenting isn't about raising kids. Maybe
- 0:46Speaker 1: it's about managing food expectations for people who change their
- 0:49Speaker 1: minds every eleven minutes. This is the Stay Out of
- 0:55Speaker 1: My Fridge podcast podcast where you have a dad, sometimes
- 1:00Speaker 1: a daughter, sometimes just a dad, sometimes daughters, but either way,
- 1:04Speaker 1: we talk about life. We talk about fridge, and we
- 1:07Speaker 1: talk about the things. That's pretty relatable because we're not
- 1:10Speaker 1: the only ones that live the life that we do.
- 1:12Speaker 1: You're thinking, who is it just gonna be mad? Is
- 1:15Speaker 1: it just gonna be Beard Laws this episode. Well nope,
- 1:18Speaker 1: joining me back in the studio for the first time
- 1:21Speaker 1: and what feels like forever, the one the only Lah.
- 1:26Speaker 1: What's up, dude?
- 1:27Speaker 2: Nothing really?
- 1:28Speaker 1: Nothing? Really, it's cold outside my room. You always say
- 1:33Speaker 1: you're cleaning your room and it never gets done. Actually
- 1:35Speaker 1: when today, like you already started or this is just
- 1:38Speaker 1: the plan.
- 1:39Speaker 2: No, I've already started.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Because this is what's gonna happen. You're gonna say you're
- 1:42Speaker 1: gonna clean your room. You're gonna put on YouTube, You're
- 1:45Speaker 1: gonna put a bunch of stuff in the hallway, and
- 1:47Speaker 1: it's just gonna look like a snow Nato went off,
- 1:50Speaker 1: but with clothes and toys.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Right, I'm getting rid of a lot of toys and
- 1:55Speaker 2: clothes actually right now.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Interesting, that's good because all you've been doing is hanging
- 2:00Speaker 1: around shooting me with a NERF gun and a bullseye
- 2:03Speaker 1: that you can't hit.
- 2:03Speaker 2: But interesting, Right, what else all the stuff that I'm
- 2:06Speaker 2: like getting rid of, I'm donating.
- 2:08Speaker 1: We're gonna donate it.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I'm not sure you, but I want to donate though.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Okay, Well, if anybody knows where we can donate it,
- 2:14Speaker 1: let us know, right, all right, yeah, okay, cool, trying
- 2:19Speaker 1: something a little new, a different setup, so hopefully this works.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Hopefully it sounds good, right yeah yeah, what else is up?
- 2:27Speaker 1: You had your first basketball tournament. That was fun, right, Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 1: It was a little bit of a booster tournament. There
- 2:33Speaker 1: was eight teams and what'd you think? You had a
- 2:36Speaker 1: lot of fun. Yeah, yeah, what was fun for you?
- 2:39Speaker 2: I think the funnest part was probably that we went
- 2:43Speaker 2: to the championship.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I went to the championship. But it's silver bracket.
- 2:47Speaker 1: That's pretty cool. Played hard, worked hard, some good stuff,
- 2:51Speaker 1: some ugly stuff, but just in the just in a
- 2:53Speaker 1: couple of games, you really evolved, So that's good. Getting
- 2:57Speaker 1: mo better.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Yeah. And you just had your Valentine's Day party and
- 3:02Speaker 1: that was.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Fun, right Yeah, it was really fun.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Actually telt me about it.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So we watched a movie movie Ramona and bezus never
- 3:11Speaker 2: heard of it. It's based off a book.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Never read it.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Anyway, we did that. We did our party off. We
- 3:20Speaker 2: didn't finish it yet, but we started it. And then
- 3:24Speaker 2: when Logan came, we did our like exchange and then
- 3:34Speaker 2: we ate passed out the extras to teachers and.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Would you eat a lot of food like what I
- 3:42Speaker 1: mean your top three.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Brownies No Bakes and Michaela's Moms.
- 3:47Speaker 1: No Bakes nice, so double no Bakes brownie is high
- 3:50Speaker 1: on the rating list for Isla. It's cool, no bacon,
- 3:53Speaker 1: it's fun, so it was bacon. We made some brownies
- 3:56Speaker 1: the other day. They're pretty good, right, you must not
- 4:00Speaker 1: have been that great because I had to throw a
- 4:01Speaker 1: couple away. Well and probably because you thought that they
- 4:06Speaker 1: were gone, but they were just actually stored the right way,
- 4:08Speaker 1: so our big dog didn't get them into them.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I don't know, but they usually put them on the
- 4:12Speaker 2: other side, but you put them on it.
- 4:14Speaker 1: No, you girls decide to put everything on one side
- 4:17Speaker 1: of the kitchen. I like things in certain spots on
- 4:19Speaker 1: the other side of the kitchen, so you never think
- 4:22Speaker 1: to look on my side. You only go to your side.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Whose side's cleaner?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Same?
- 4:28Speaker 1: No way, my side is way cleaner. And if your
- 4:30Speaker 1: side's cleaner, it's because I cleaned it. Did you know
- 4:33Speaker 1: that there is a mean cleaning?
- 4:36Speaker 2: Huh?
- 4:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll tell you when you're older. But yeah, super cold.
- 4:39Speaker 1: We're in an extreme cold warning and our winter has
- 4:43Speaker 1: been really good. If you're into snow, cold and well,
- 4:47Speaker 1: more cold snow right one through ten? How would you
- 4:49Speaker 1: rank our winter so far? One being boy, this winter stinks.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Ten be in. This winter's awesome. I love it. I
- 4:56Speaker 1: want more of it. I want the groundhog to see
- 4:59Speaker 1: his shadow. I get more winter.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna write it too.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It's how come when the groundhog sees his shadow and
- 5:07Speaker 1: it's sunny out, there's more winter. But when he doesn't
- 5:11Speaker 1: see his shadow and it's not sunny out, then there's
- 5:14Speaker 1: less winter.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I don't get it either.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Why do you think that is? Explain it as a kid?
- 5:20Speaker 2: I don't. I would disagree with that because if there's
- 5:23Speaker 2: a sun out and you see the shadow, and that
- 5:27Speaker 2: should be more less winter because there's sun.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean yeah, I don't get it. There must
- 5:36Speaker 1: be a real reason why.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't get it either.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I rate it a too. I rated it at too
- 5:43Speaker 2: because it's pretty bad outside. But the one part of
- 5:49Speaker 2: it is that your dad always takes us to go well,
- 5:54Speaker 2: Papa always takes us on me and the kids to
- 5:58Speaker 2: go on a ride on the back of his four
- 6:02Speaker 2: wheeler ranger.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah, puts a couple sleds behind. That's pretty fun.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Sometimes we fall out, which is really fun. That's a
- 6:11Speaker 2: really fun movie fallout because they were like running after
- 6:14Speaker 2: it and we're going not because he doesn't even look.
- 6:20Speaker 2: He's just and we're like, what, he's behind the house,
- 6:26Speaker 2: the kid's house. Before they even he even realizes that
- 6:31Speaker 2: you're gone.
- 6:32Speaker 1: He's old. Give him a break.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I realized, whoa did.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You just call my dad old?
- 6:38Speaker 2: You just did it too.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Two wrongs don't make it right now, does it?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Now?
- 6:44Speaker 1: All right, let's move on. Let's go with the Let's
- 6:48Speaker 1: go with the kind of the idea that the fridge
- 6:52Speaker 1: is a museum of lies? What do you think I
- 6:54Speaker 1: mean by that? The fridge is a museum of lies?
- 6:56Speaker 1: What do you think I mean by it?
- 6:57Speaker 2: There's a lot of stuff in it, that's.
- 6:59Speaker 1: What you're thinking. Do you know what a museum is, Yeah,
- 7:01Speaker 1: it's a museum.
- 7:02Speaker 2: A museum is a place that has, like, for example,
- 7:05Speaker 2: like dinosaur bones and stuff. It can be that kind
- 7:08Speaker 2: of museum, a kid's play museum. There can be educational
- 7:16Speaker 2: museums and things that are really old museums.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Okay, so the fridge lies to you, all right, it
- 7:24Speaker 1: looks organized. What are you looking for? Let's look for
- 7:28Speaker 1: it later. Okay, Yeah, because you lost a nail, right, yeah,
- 7:32Speaker 1: which I don't get. You spend so much time and
- 7:37Speaker 1: money on nails and they fall off within two minutes.
- 7:40Speaker 2: No, I've had these on for two days.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Already, two days. They went on yesterday, eight yesterday. It
- 7:46Speaker 1: hasn't even been twenty how many hours are in a day.
- 7:49Speaker 2: That's good though, because they have that's good.
- 7:52Speaker 1: To spend all the time and money they have them
- 7:54Speaker 1: on for less than a day is good.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I mean, it's good that that was my first day
- 7:59Speaker 2: of that.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Because I have Osbourne, I I I I.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I I.
- 8:09Speaker 1: So you use what ozzie.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Because I use a really a really cheap nail glue
- 8:16Speaker 2: from because it's from like nail nail glues.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Glue dot com.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Nope, when I got like my nails at the store,
- 8:25Speaker 2: it comes with like one of those little glue things
- 8:28Speaker 2: in them. If you're a girl and you know what
- 8:30Speaker 2: I mean, try to like explain it because I don't
- 8:32Speaker 2: really know how to explain it.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Not a girl and I don't know.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I know, if you're a girl watching this, try to
- 8:37Speaker 2: explain I don't in the comments so you can because
- 8:39Speaker 2: I don't know how to explain it.
- 8:41Speaker 1: So I have a theory, you're using cheap products so
- 8:44Speaker 1: they fall off, and then you know, I find just
- 8:46Speaker 1: nails everywhere.
- 8:48Speaker 2: No, no, it's because when I get nails at the store,
- 8:52Speaker 2: it comes with a little bottle like this bake and
- 8:55Speaker 2: super skinny. That's my nail glove that I use, and
- 8:59Speaker 2: it's not very good. But it really depends on what
- 9:02Speaker 2: kind of brands you're getting anything brand, No, I.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Just what's the question. Let's ask my phone. My phone
- 9:08Speaker 1: knows everything. What's the question we need to ask? You
- 9:10Speaker 1: just said, you know, if you're a girl, and you
- 9:12Speaker 1: know leave a comment. Why don't we just ask my phone?
- 9:14Speaker 1: My phone knows everything. No, like about Oh, my phone
- 9:18Speaker 1: doesn't know anything.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Figure like, so ask your phone to show you a
- 9:22Speaker 2: picture of nail glue bottles dot com inside of nail
- 9:26Speaker 2: glue packaging.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Can you show me a picture of nail glue that
- 9:30Speaker 1: comes in nail packages. This is what it showed me.
- 9:33Speaker 2: It's like mini, like skinny Minnie. It's from it's like
- 9:37Speaker 2: inside what nails that you would buy at the store.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Whatever. So you're just trying to say the glue is
- 9:42Speaker 1: cheap so the nails fall off. Yes, okay, Well why
- 9:45Speaker 1: don't you instead of buying nails over and over, and
- 9:48Speaker 1: this is dad and dude logic. Instead of just investing
- 9:52Speaker 1: in nails over and over and over, why don't you
- 9:54Speaker 1: spend the money and get a good glue and like
- 9:57Speaker 1: one set of nails so that way you don't just
- 9:59Speaker 1: put them on and they fall off thirty seconds later,
- 10:02Speaker 1: Because that's what it feels like it does. You're like, oh,
- 10:04Speaker 1: I just spen all this time, and then nail polish
- 10:06Speaker 1: smells so bad, and then you come down here and
- 10:08Speaker 1: just stinks up the whole house. And next thing you know,
- 10:11Speaker 1: nails are everywhere and you're walking around with six nails
- 10:14Speaker 1: and ten fingers. Why don't you put big nails on.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Your toes because I can't wear socks.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Why can't you?
- 10:21Speaker 2: Because it would rip through the socks and it would
- 10:24Speaker 2: be hard to wear. If you're going to do that,
- 10:28Speaker 2: then I would recommend doing it during summer when you
- 10:31Speaker 2: wear like foot flops.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Do people do that? Do people put nails on their toes?
- 10:37Speaker 2: They're special kinds of nails for your toes.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Are they toenails? No?
- 10:42Speaker 2: They're like that long for like a big toe so.
- 10:45Speaker 1: You can climb a tree better or something. Why would
- 10:48Speaker 1: you put them on.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I don't know, just to be cutesy.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I don't think that's cutesy at all.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I don't know either.
- 10:54Speaker 1: No, we're not doing that in this house.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I don't do that anyway. Yeah, mister did it for prom.
- 11:02Speaker 1: She put fake nails on her feet for prom.
- 11:05Speaker 2: They were short, though, they were short, like they were
- 11:08Speaker 2: a little French tips for her.
- 11:11Speaker 1: French tips. Isn't that like how you do a hairstyle,
- 11:14Speaker 1: you give French tips.
- 11:16Speaker 2: No, French tips is like a nail that goes like
- 11:19Speaker 2: I've done it millions.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Of times, millions of times. So then they fell off
- 11:23Speaker 1: millions of times and the dog probably Okay, you know
- 11:29Speaker 1: what I mean now, No, I don't really care. Like,
- 11:32Speaker 1: so she put fake nails on her toes for prom?
- 11:35Speaker 2: Yeah, because she was wearing high heels for prompt and
- 11:37Speaker 2: she wanted off because.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Her because her date thought it would be cool. No, no, okay, anyways,
- 11:45Speaker 1: I think that's dumb and I can't wait to make
- 11:48Speaker 1: fun of her. Did other girls put them on there?
- 11:50Speaker 1: Or she just thinking outside the box?
- 11:52Speaker 2: I don't know. I wasn't there. Are you going to
- 11:54Speaker 2: go to prom? Maybe with like a friend, but not
- 12:00Speaker 2: with a boy.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Now it's on record. Let's go on record. Eyla is
- 12:03Speaker 1: not going to go to prom with a boy.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I said, I most likely will not. I most likely
- 12:08Speaker 2: will go with like my besties.
- 12:10Speaker 1: And who knows who your besties will be. Maybe it'll
- 12:12Speaker 1: be in a whole different school. Maybe maybe not. We'll
- 12:16Speaker 1: see done, done done. All right, So let's go back
- 12:21Speaker 1: to before where we were before we went on this
- 12:24Speaker 1: tangent about fake nails and how dumb and expensive they are.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Would you rather have fake nails for the rest of
- 12:32Speaker 1: your life? You get one package of fake nails every
- 12:35Speaker 1: month or one package of football cards every month?
- 12:39Speaker 2: Cards?
- 12:40Speaker 1: So if I get you one pack of football cards
- 12:43Speaker 1: every month, you'll stop with nails.
- 12:46Speaker 2: How many are we talking of? Like? How many us
- 12:49Speaker 2: in the football pack?
- 12:50Speaker 1: Twenty cards in one pack? It's almost a card today?
- 12:54Speaker 2: Or nails thirty pack?
- 12:55Speaker 1: They don't come in those yes to do? I was like,
- 12:58Speaker 1: don't you get twenty cards in one pack?
- 13:00Speaker 2: Twenty packs? And then yes each month?
- 13:03Speaker 1: All right? You could just say no to both. So
- 13:04Speaker 1: you just negotiated your I've been watching mister Beast with you.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I know how to negotiate. You just turned down an offer.
- 13:09Speaker 1: You get nothing, you lose everything.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I'll quit shay long fake nails. I'll do like paint nails.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You can still paint your own nails, that's fine.
- 13:20Speaker 2: And if I do my nails that month, I don't
- 13:24Speaker 2: get a car packed.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Them up and then one time you skip it, it's
- 13:28Speaker 1: gone forever. No, yep, Well you should have read the
- 13:32Speaker 1: rules in agreements. So fine, all right, she's quitting nails
- 13:35Speaker 1: and getting no cards. Deal cool?
- 13:37Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no to the twenty cards each month.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll see, okay, all right, So the fridge lies
- 13:45Speaker 1: to us. We're going back to it. Sorry, everybody. It
- 13:47Speaker 1: lies to us because it looks organized right most of
- 13:50Speaker 1: the time, and it looks responsible. When you look at
- 13:52Speaker 1: a fridge, you can potentially judge. Do you think you
- 13:55Speaker 1: could You could kind of not judge, But do you
- 13:58Speaker 1: think you could get a good grasp of somebody in
- 14:01Speaker 1: their like the household and the rest of the house
- 14:04Speaker 1: looking at just their fridge. So what do I mean
- 14:06Speaker 1: if you have a messy fridge, do you have a
- 14:07Speaker 1: messy house? Do you have a clean fridge? Do you
- 14:09Speaker 1: have a clean house? Do you think they go together
- 14:11Speaker 1: like peanut butter and jelly or do you think somebody
- 14:14Speaker 1: can have a messy fridge in a dirty house and
- 14:17Speaker 1: a clean fridge, or yeah, a clean fridge in a
- 14:19Speaker 1: dirty house and a dirty house and a clean fridge.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Dirty fridge and clean.
- 14:23Speaker 1: House like peanut butter, and so you think they go together.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I'm not dirty fridge with a dirty.
- 14:28Speaker 1: House or a clean and clean so you think they
- 14:30Speaker 1: go together?
- 14:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:32Speaker 1: Interesting?
- 14:33Speaker 2: It depends if you have kids.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Actually, so you think kids mess everything up.
- 14:37Speaker 2: If you have a kid, then their room is probably most.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Likely going to be dirty, you think, So why.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Experience with myself?
- 14:47Speaker 1: Yeah, your room is disgusting. Why do you think it's
- 14:50Speaker 1: so dirty? Is it just lack of caring? Because I
- 14:55Speaker 1: feel like you have the proper education on how to
- 14:57Speaker 1: clean a room. Because let's give so, let's give the
- 15:00Speaker 1: listeners a little bit of some context. So you were
- 15:03Speaker 1: within the last year or so, got a brand new room,
- 15:07Speaker 1: perfectly spotless, clean, and then completely dirty. So then we
- 15:12Speaker 1: spend some time cleaning it again and then completely dirty again.
- 15:18Speaker 1: So I want to know, from kid to parent, how
- 15:21Speaker 1: does it get so dirty? And why is there an excuse?
- 15:25Speaker 1: I want the truth and nothing but the truth for me. Yes,
- 15:30Speaker 1: you I don't care about the nephews and nieces. I
- 15:32Speaker 1: care about why your room is filthy? Have ever seen
- 15:37Speaker 1: the show Hoarders?
- 15:38Speaker 2: Kind of like it's because it's boring to clean?
- 15:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but wouldn't it be easier? Like I've told you before,
- 15:47Speaker 1: and I'm just giving off some parent advice in case
- 15:49Speaker 1: somebody else is listening. Isn't it easier to take five
- 15:53Speaker 1: minutes to put things away, to hang up clothes, to
- 15:54Speaker 1: put the clothes away properly than having to spend an
- 15:57Speaker 1: entire weekend cleaning your room? Little moments like me, I
- 16:01Speaker 1: come in when my clothes, I'm done with them, I
- 16:04Speaker 1: hang them back up and put them in there. And
- 16:05Speaker 1: everything has a spot and I just put it back
- 16:07Speaker 1: in that spot and it takes minutes. But if I
- 16:09Speaker 1: just throw them all over the place, then I'd have
- 16:11Speaker 1: to spend hours cleaning up all the stuff that was
- 16:15Speaker 1: just little minutes. It's probably the same amount of time,
- 16:17Speaker 1: But why wouldn't you just do minutes instead of there?
- 16:21Speaker 1: Did you fix the drawer mess that I asked you to?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Did you fix?
- 16:25Speaker 2: So?
- 16:25Speaker 1: If I we're gonna end the podcast, I'm gonna go
- 16:27Speaker 1: up there The drawers are fixed?
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:31Speaker 1: The interesting I'm gonna go. Look, did you turn your
- 16:36Speaker 1: light off before you came down?
- 16:38Speaker 2: Yep, I've been using my lamp all there.
- 16:42Speaker 1: To turn your lamp off. Look at this, everybody. It
- 16:45Speaker 1: only takes a five hundred and twenty five dollars power
- 16:47Speaker 1: bill for the kid that turn the lights up.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I've been turning them off.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Oh, like for a day. I've been doing it all day.
- 16:54Speaker 2: No, I've been doing it for like a week, a
- 16:56Speaker 2: week before I go to school.
- 16:59Speaker 1: What was that? That's cool? Did you smell your breath
- 17:03Speaker 1: and ABC and disgusting?
- 17:07Speaker 2: No, it's because I had to, Like I know, actually
- 17:11Speaker 2: I think I had a sneeze. I don't really know.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I think I had a sneeze.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Because interesting, all right, we're gonna take two seconds before
- 17:18Speaker 1: the episode is over, and we're gonna give shot outs
- 17:21Speaker 1: to the friends at the show, all of our you know,
- 17:23Speaker 1: uh companies that we work with, and I'm gonna have
- 17:26Speaker 1: you do the ad read so tell us all about
- 17:28Speaker 1: Live Bearded.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Live Bearded is a company that sells beard stuff for
- 17:33Speaker 2: your beard.
- 17:34Speaker 1: You wouldn't say.
- 17:35Speaker 2: And in that beard stuff, they have a bunch of
- 17:37Speaker 2: different like stuff for your beard, like beard butter beard.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Ship, mm hmm. Beard. What else? Beard?
- 17:47Speaker 2: Beard?
- 17:47Speaker 1: Well, yeah, girl.
- 17:49Speaker 2: And they all smell good, spell different.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Do you know what which one your favorite is or no?
- 17:54Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I don't know the name of it.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I don't know the name of it, but I think
- 17:59Speaker 2: it smelled like fruit loops and was cream.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the seasonal sentence.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Zeus, Yeah, that one was good.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I like, you're a big fan of that one. I
- 18:08Speaker 1: can't say anything because it's not released yet, but you
- 18:11Speaker 1: wait after the episode. I'm gonna go. Let you smell
- 18:15Speaker 1: the new scent that's coming out of the season all
- 18:18Speaker 1: I don't want to see if you like it. It's good,
- 18:21Speaker 1: real good. So live bearded. What else do you guys think?
- 18:26Speaker 1: What's the code? You know the code that they gotta use.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Yeah? Beard loss, beard beard loss?
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah, because you want everybody else to have a good,
- 18:34Speaker 1: healthy looking beard, right, And it's not just for beards,
- 18:36Speaker 1: do you take it? Sometimes put a little oil on
- 18:38Speaker 1: your skin, so what smells good, feels good. Puts them
- 18:41Speaker 1: in your hair.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, hair, that's good too.
- 18:44Speaker 1: That's good too. Are you a ro is actually.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Good for every hair? Like not your eyebrows, not your eyelashes,
- 18:54Speaker 2: but like your arms, your hair.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Especially during win when it's dry in the house dry outside.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Hands get dry from washing so much. Yours don't because
- 19:05Speaker 1: you don't know how to wash your hands. I do too,
- 19:07Speaker 1: All right, what about squatch juice? Tell them about squatch juice?
- 19:10Speaker 1: If you try it yet, I thought you took.
- 19:12Speaker 2: No, I didn't try it. But squatch juice is in
- 19:15Speaker 2: the background if you can see it, there's a cup
- 19:17Speaker 2: right there.
- 19:17Speaker 1: And if only listening, Yeah, squatch juice. Do you know
- 19:20Speaker 1: that you go to squatch juice dot com, slash beard
- 19:22Speaker 1: laws or use code beard laws don't save you some money?
- 19:25Speaker 2: No, I didn't.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Do you know what? Do you know what the actual
- 19:27Speaker 1: reasoning is for the squatch juice and what it does?
- 19:29Speaker 2: It's good for you better than coffee?
- 19:33Speaker 1: No, yeah, because they have the energy and focus. But
- 19:37Speaker 1: the main goal too, is to keep you hydrated so
- 19:39Speaker 1: you can be mentally better, physically better. And hydration. Do
- 19:44Speaker 1: you know what it means to be dehydrated? Not like
- 19:47Speaker 1: beef jerky? What's it mean?
- 19:48Speaker 2: Dehydrated is when you don't drink enough water or something.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Yeah, or you sweat it all out. So this replenishes them.
- 19:54Speaker 1: They have vitamins in them and they have different flavors.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Do you know what the flavors are? You don't do it?
- 20:00Speaker 1: Ample Mango, strawberry, Kiwi lemonade and watermelon are in the
- 20:03Speaker 1: hydration ones and also with the energy and focus, but
- 20:06Speaker 1: they have a whole just focus, no caffeine that locks
- 20:09Speaker 1: you in. Its kind of like coffee for kids without
- 20:12Speaker 1: the caffeine and everything. And it's all pina colada flavored.
- 20:16Speaker 1: So do you think people should check out squat schus
- 20:18Speaker 1: thirty packets and any one thing?
- 20:20Speaker 2: And I think you should also go chuck out that bearded.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I think so too. And what was that new game?
- 20:26Speaker 1: We've been playing?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Golf, the golf dice game, also golf on his hat.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I got it. That's a fun game, right, really fun?
- 20:34Speaker 1: Why do you love it? We've been playing it honestly NonStop,
- 20:36Speaker 1: haven't we that?
- 20:38Speaker 2: It's just so fun. I don't want to.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Explain it, but you should try it because they're on
- 20:42Speaker 1: a podcast and they're wondering. Well, I think you don't
- 20:44Speaker 1: have to explain how to play it. I'm just curious
- 20:46Speaker 1: why you love playing it with a family.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I love playing it with the family because it has
- 20:50Speaker 2: like it doesn't take very long and it's good for
- 20:54Speaker 2: hanging out with a family and getting closer to family members.
- 20:57Speaker 1: And Sissy loves it, and Sissy never leaves her them
- 21:00Speaker 1: to come to games.
- 21:01Speaker 2: And it can actually bring your family to come downstairs
- 21:05Speaker 2: and play it in what if you don't have stairs, well,
- 21:08Speaker 2: come to play.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Come to play? Uh yeah, and I mean where we are.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Obviously it's winter, it's cold, so you can't go and
- 21:17Speaker 1: play golf, even though I like to hang out and
- 21:21Speaker 1: just practice my golf swing and somebody likes to make
- 21:24Speaker 1: fun of me while I do it. It's all you.
- 21:29Speaker 1: But yeah, you guys can check it out. It's a
- 21:31Speaker 1: fun game. I love it. They're on Instagram Golf Dice
- 21:35Speaker 1: Game or you can go to the golf Dice game
- 21:38Speaker 1: dot com check it out. No promo code, they're not
- 21:41Speaker 1: a they're not a like a sponsor or anything like that.
- 21:43Speaker 1: We don't get any money for saying that. I just
- 21:46Speaker 1: genuinely love it, and so do you. So I just
- 21:48Speaker 1: want you guys to have fun. And the other thing,
- 21:50Speaker 1: did you see what I just got today with a
- 21:52Speaker 1: beard in the back? Did you see what those were?
- 21:55Speaker 1: I waited on the show so you could you could
- 21:56Speaker 1: react to them. Did you see what they are? Do
- 21:59Speaker 1: you know what they are?
- 21:59Speaker 2: All of them in the kitchen when you were on
- 22:01Speaker 2: boxing them. But I don't know what they are.
- 22:03Speaker 1: They are bro picks. So it comes in this cool
- 22:07Speaker 1: little like metal travel case. You can put it on
- 22:09Speaker 1: your keys. You know what they are? What they are
- 22:12Speaker 1: bro picks? You know what a bro pick is? No,
- 22:15Speaker 1: it's an amazing toothpick. Wherever you go, a lot of people.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Have you seen a lot of people just chewing on toothpicks? Yeah,
- 22:21Speaker 1: so you just chew on a bro pick or if
- 22:23Speaker 1: you need to get some stuff out of your teeth,
- 22:26Speaker 1: you're just nice quality smooth wood.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Chip, or you can stick it in the beard to
- 22:34Speaker 2: get out the food that you do.
- 22:35Speaker 1: That's what I wonder. How many of these I could
- 22:37Speaker 1: fit in my beard?
- 22:39Speaker 2: Million?
- 22:39Speaker 1: I could do a lot. I wonder. So bro picks
- 22:41Speaker 1: if you're listening, hopefully you are, but you guys can
- 22:43Speaker 1: definitely check them out. I saw them on Instagram and
- 22:46Speaker 1: I just kind of fell in love with them. I
- 22:48Speaker 1: had been a guy that would love to just kind
- 22:50Speaker 1: of chew on a toothpick every once in a while.
- 22:53Speaker 1: And I love the case, I love the cause, and
- 22:56Speaker 1: you can just these are going to go in our camper,
- 22:58Speaker 1: but there's also going to be stumbing the beard loss
- 22:59Speaker 1: to udo. But yeah, check them out bro Picks I
- 23:02Speaker 1: saw him on saw on Instagram follow them. Got some
- 23:07Speaker 1: pretty awesome right Yeah.
- 23:09Speaker 2: So during the summer when we go camping, if we
- 23:11Speaker 2: even get to.
- 23:13Speaker 1: We're gonna be pretty busy, aren't we.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Yeah, but if we do, you're gonna bring those with you.
- 23:18Speaker 1: You know it, guys. Check them out bro picks brand
- 23:22Speaker 1: on the Instagram. Pretty cool. Huh, those are the friends
- 23:26Speaker 1: of the show.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Anything else, make sure to be kind everybody.
- 23:31Speaker 1: We're not done yet, we got like five more minutes.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Why do you want to be done? Interesting? I want
- 23:36Speaker 1: to I want to ask you this question. There was
- 23:38Speaker 1: a bunch of stuff that I was gonna do on here,
- 23:40Speaker 1: but we just had a fun time, just free flowing chatting,
- 23:43Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I want to know why
- 23:46Speaker 1: is dinner for us seemingly the hardest meal to come
- 23:50Speaker 1: up with? It doesn't appear that we can ever agree,
- 23:53Speaker 1: or at least we rarely agree. You know what we
- 23:57Speaker 1: can come up with for dinner? Why do you think
- 23:59Speaker 1: it's so different? Or do you think it is the
- 24:01Speaker 1: toughest meal to plan in the house. Breakfast seems pretty easy.
- 24:06Speaker 1: You just gotta get up, I have my routine, I
- 24:09Speaker 1: do my smoothie, or I.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Come downstairs and I come downstairs and eat a bagel
- 24:15Speaker 2: or a toast or something. Click.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Yeah, just quick some you know, a sissy or them,
- 24:19Speaker 1: grab a protein bar, a breakfast bar, maybe a pop tire,
- 24:23Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Just quick meals and lunch.
- 24:27Speaker 1: You're either probably on the go or you're at school
- 24:31Speaker 1: most of the year and you just have a lunch there.
- 24:33Speaker 1: You guys just eat mac and cheese, like it seems
- 24:35Speaker 1: easy going. But there's never like a big dispute on lunch.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Why is dinner so difficult? If we were to sit
- 24:40Speaker 1: down at the table and be like, all right, what
- 24:41Speaker 1: are we having for dinner tonight? What's the answer that
- 24:43Speaker 1: almost everybody says.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Because dinner is like the only meal that we actually
- 24:49Speaker 2: eat together.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Which not all the time during busy sports seasons. But
- 24:54Speaker 1: when I go, all right, girls, what are we going
- 24:55Speaker 1: to have for dinner? What does everybody say?
- 24:58Speaker 2: Bezza?
- 25:00Speaker 1: That'd be cool if everybody did. But no one week
- 25:02Speaker 1: gave he likes pizza, one week.
- 25:04Speaker 2: She peels off for cheese. And Pepperona.
- 25:07Speaker 1: No, you know what everybody says. I don't know that.
- 25:14Speaker 2: We don't have that ales.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Sorry, try, that's not how I sound, is it my voice?
- 25:21Speaker 1: Your foot fall asleep? Everybody in the counter. Three, we're
- 25:23Speaker 1: gonnake your foot up. We're gonna wake up one, two, three,
- 25:25Speaker 1: wake up. That's weird, all right? So why, in your
- 25:29Speaker 1: words as a kid, is dinner the hardest meal for
- 25:32Speaker 1: everybody to agree on?
- 25:33Speaker 2: Probably because I don't know.
- 25:37Speaker 1: That's a great answer. Maybe that's what the answer I
- 25:40Speaker 1: get when I ask what we're having for dinner?
- 25:42Speaker 2: Maybe because we're picky.
- 25:47Speaker 1: No, that isn't Maybe you could have just said it's
- 25:49Speaker 1: because we're picky. You are probably the pickiest. I want
- 25:52Speaker 1: you to rank in order from pickiest to least pickiest
- 25:56Speaker 1: in our house. So there's me, Mom, you Eaves, and sissy.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Who is the pickiest eater coming in at number one? Pickies?
- 26:05Speaker 1: Let's go five, four, three, two one. Who's the least
- 26:07Speaker 1: pickiest eater in the house. Yeah, we'll pick it. So me,
- 26:11Speaker 1: I'll eat anything, rarely say no unless it's a sweet potato. Okay.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Who comes in at number four?
- 26:18Speaker 2: My sister?
- 26:19Speaker 1: Okay, why would you say your sister.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Because I'm saving my mom for third.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Well, obviously, but my.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Sister eats a lot of things does even if she
- 26:31Speaker 2: doesn't even like Sometimes she'll be like, I don't love
- 26:33Speaker 2: prussels spouts, still gonna eat it. But my mom is
- 26:40Speaker 2: gonna be third because she has this thing where she
- 26:45Speaker 2: can't handle some textures.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Yes, that is tough.
- 26:49Speaker 2: So when she eats and she.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Doesn't like the text, no, no, no, can't do it right,
- 26:55Speaker 1: she goes no.
- 26:56Speaker 2: And she also can't eat at a late time. She
- 26:59Speaker 2: is really bad flexed.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Okay, so there's five four three? Who's two?
- 27:04Speaker 2: Avery?
- 27:05Speaker 1: Avery's too? What would land her at two? More picky
- 27:09Speaker 1: than your mom, but not as picky as you.
- 27:11Speaker 2: She doesn't she doesn't eat the cheese on her pizza.
- 27:14Speaker 2: She doesn't eat.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Some weeks, she does some weeks.
- 27:18Speaker 2: She doesn't like some textures, doesn't like flavors. Maybe she's
- 27:25Speaker 2: just kind of picky.
- 27:27Speaker 1: If it's not bell, try not get eaten. And number
- 27:30Speaker 1: one pickiest eater in the house goes to why would you?
- 27:36Speaker 1: Why would you say you?
- 27:37Speaker 2: Because I'm gonna say it and I know it. I'm
- 27:40Speaker 2: very picky.
- 27:42Speaker 1: It is true.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I don't eat a lot of things.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Why is it.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I don't, I don't. I don't like a lot of things.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But every time lately you've tried things and you go, oh,
- 27:53Speaker 1: that's pretty good.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I know. At least I'm trying things.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I know, But then you have to keep trying them
- 27:58Speaker 1: and keep eating them because you're getting where you can't
- 28:01Speaker 1: just eat the same three things.
- 28:03Speaker 2: But tomatoes, I cannot do tomatoes. I've tried, but I've
- 28:08Speaker 2: tried since I was three. I've tried tomatoes since I
- 28:11Speaker 2: was three.
- 28:11Speaker 1: What about mustard hot sauce?
- 28:15Speaker 2: Eat hot sauce on my noodles. I like it. But
- 28:18Speaker 2: I used to tow on my fingers so much in
- 28:20Speaker 2: my sleep that I had to eat mustard and hot sauce.
- 28:23Speaker 2: That sounds weird, Yes, it sounds wrong, and it sounds weird.
- 28:27Speaker 2: But I would chew on my fingers so much that
- 28:30Speaker 2: these two that you were having, they can't see it,
- 28:33Speaker 2: like my middle finger, my ring finger so much that
- 28:36Speaker 2: I put rubber gloves on.
- 28:39Speaker 1: But do you know why it was a prob hairtie
- 28:41Speaker 1: because it was starting to affect your teeth.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Yes, my teeth would get grinder.
- 28:46Speaker 1: They were getting grinded down from chewing it and stuff
- 28:48Speaker 1: like that. So in order for her to stop, and
- 28:51Speaker 1: we trained her to stop, we would put on ofn mids,
- 28:54Speaker 1: but I did.
- 28:56Speaker 2: I decided to do this. I decided to put on
- 28:58Speaker 2: gloves and put a rubber band on them and then
- 29:02Speaker 2: put another mail on because if the oven mint falls off,
- 29:05Speaker 2: then I would have a backup.
- 29:06Speaker 1: And then we would put mustard and hot sauce on
- 29:08Speaker 1: them sometimes.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Too, Yeah, because then I would be like because then
- 29:15Speaker 2: in the middle of the night, when I go in
- 29:17Speaker 2: the middle of and I start like putting, and it's
- 29:24Speaker 2: like a warning to stop.
- 29:25Speaker 1: It seemed crazy at the time, didn't it. Yeah, someday
- 29:28Speaker 1: when you're a parent.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I remember crying so hard, because when.
- 29:33Speaker 1: You're a parent, someday probably that mad super smart dude.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Unless my kids like sauce are mustard.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Which is absolutely possible. All right, I want to wrap
- 29:44Speaker 1: this up. All right, let's wrap this up. It was
- 29:48Speaker 1: fun right time, when you're having fun. Yeah, I appreciate
- 29:50Speaker 1: you taking some time out of your busy day, taking time,
- 29:54Speaker 1: you know, from not shutting the lights off and cleaning
- 29:57Speaker 1: your room. We're gonna take a couple of minutes. We're
- 29:59Speaker 1: gonna put some stickers on. The sticker door, and yeah,
- 30:02Speaker 1: we're gonna enjoy the rest of the day. Right, all right,
- 30:03Speaker 1: who's gonna win the Super Bowl? Seahawks or the Patriots?
- 30:07Speaker 1: You heard it here first, even though the Super bowls
- 30:08Speaker 1: over by the time this comes out, but she is
- 30:12Speaker 1: predicting it a day before. All right, well, let's have

- 30:18Speaker 1: us with an outro. You got an outro? Ready? Give
- 30:20Speaker 1: us a quote about a fridge. Got a quote about
- 30:22Speaker 1: a fridge.
- 30:22Speaker 2: At the end of the day, make sure your fridge
- 30:25Speaker 2: is shut.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Oh, I like it, because if it's not, then you
- 30:30Speaker 1: have pesky little kids running through it and stealing my
- 30:32Speaker 1: snacks and grabbing stuff out of there. And all I
- 30:34Speaker 1: gotta do is yellow is steal my bed. We'll be
- 30:38Speaker 1: back next week knocking.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Who's there?
- 30:42Speaker 1: It's the podcast super Doors. Stay out of my fridge?
- 30:46Speaker 1: Well ready to store. Gotta tail a tale gonna make
