- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becka Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Hey everyone, how's it going?
- 0:20Speaker 2: We got to think of something because it does sound
- 0:25Speaker 2: drab without it.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I wish we could delve though, Like we got the numbers,
- 0:31Speaker 1: but I'd be curious if it's because it's the same
- 0:33Speaker 1: every time. Should you change it up every time? Or
- 0:35Speaker 1: do they want to gone?
- 0:36Speaker 2: So what I think it is? I think scrub it
- 0:38Speaker 2: up Dub was fine. Yes, I think in the tub
- 0:41Speaker 2: is what people were like, Well.
- 0:43Speaker 1: That is kind of weird.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I mean I've found it ever since she
- 0:46Speaker 2: said it. I think I made a comment about it.
- 0:48Speaker 2: But I think we can keep scrubing up dub if
- 0:51Speaker 2: you feel like you want to sing, I'm good I didn't.
- 0:55Speaker 2: What are you mad at me about? I'm not mad
- 0:58Speaker 2: at you? Why am I getting attitude?
- 1:00Speaker 3: No attitude?
- 1:00Speaker 2: There's attitude, not.
- 1:02Speaker 1: A strong attitude happening. See. So, just if people aren't aware,
- 1:08Speaker 1: we did a poll feel Sad on the Facebook group
- 1:10Speaker 1: asking what do they think about Tanya's scrip.
- 1:12Speaker 2: We did it an anonymous yeah, yeah, Oh Yeahbert, unless
- 1:16Speaker 2: it was one of you guys, I didn't do it.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Okay, Scrubber do that like something Mark would do.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Scrub Tonya asking since this came up in today's episode,
- 1:26Speaker 1: how do we feel about scrub a dub dub and
- 1:27Speaker 1: the tub of tub tub seventy not a fan that
- 1:33Speaker 1: hurts some comments, Abigail said, if there was a doesen't
- 1:37Speaker 1: phase me option, I would take that.
- 1:41Speaker 3: It's meant to delight, not to not phase Nikki.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I didn't realize people hated it so much. I think
- 1:47Speaker 1: it's funny and cute. Doesn't bother me, Abigail, I literally
- 1:50Speaker 1: hate it. When Tanya says it at the top of
- 1:52Speaker 1: the episode, it reminds me how far we've strayed from
- 1:55Speaker 1: the Gray's commentary, and it makes me sad brook It
- 1:59Speaker 1: is so cringe. I fast forward through it.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Wow, whoa, that's like three seconds Nareda.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I sing it with Tanya at the beginning of the podcast.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Jenna is not necessary, but I'm so used to it.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I sing along April, who cares. It's so on brand
- 2:15Speaker 1: for Tanya and that's what makes it cute and funny
- 2:16Speaker 1: and it makes me laugh every time. And it's energetic
- 2:18Speaker 1: and it sets the tone. I like the whole segment.
- 2:20Speaker 1: It's one second. It's one second, Alyssa. I sing with
- 2:24Speaker 1: Tanya when she says it. I love it, Kelly Ray
- 2:28Speaker 1: in the most loving way possible. It and that to
- 2:32Speaker 1: be continued to the end. Can both go. They feel forced,
- 2:35Speaker 1: and they make me cringe so much love. I'm a
- 2:37Speaker 1: Day one listener and I'll listen forever.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Cringe is tough, cringes.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Ouch, Rafaela, I love it. No complaint's Lindsay. My son
- 2:45Speaker 1: says it with Tanya every time, so you know it's
- 2:47Speaker 1: across the board.
- 2:48Speaker 2: And I told her that. I told her that, you know, I.
- 2:51Speaker 4: I think I've lived enough life to know that I'm polarizing.
- 2:54Speaker 4: A boss once told me that I was a cartoon
- 2:57Speaker 4: character of a person and that people can only handle
- 2:59Speaker 4: me and sizes, and maybe he's right.
- 3:02Speaker 1: For some people, he's not right.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Maybe he was right.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I don't think that you're scrub a dub dub in
- 3:07Speaker 2: the tub of tub tub tune like in Cops. Cops
- 3:12Speaker 2: late to you as a person kind of does it really.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Doesn't doesn't, not as a person nor as a radio person, right.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I think it's just a preference and we got the
- 3:23Speaker 2: the opinions on it.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but.
- 3:27Speaker 2: So yeah, oh yeah, and they said in general, they said,
- 3:30Speaker 2: in general, our intro and our intros are just like
- 3:33Speaker 2: so dull compared to other podcasts. Yeah, you know what.
- 3:37Speaker 4: You know what it is that the Toast created a
- 3:39Speaker 4: song and it's so cute. Every time I hear I
- 3:41Speaker 4: sing along a good morning, it's the toes thin.
- 3:48Speaker 5: Clawden where you're hut that the next time's here, Sorry everybody,
- 3:55Speaker 5: Easton's not here, but next time he's here, he may
- 3:56Speaker 5: have when that somebody sent in that maybe we could adopt.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Maybe that's a better move, like a little fun jingle
- 4:01Speaker 3: is so cute.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I know, I agree, but I I know that.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I can ask chat chips to do it.
- 4:08Speaker 2: But is it an iHeart thing where they all the
- 4:10Speaker 2: intros are very similar.
- 4:12Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be.
- 4:13Speaker 3: It doesn't have to be. We don't have to follow suits.
- 4:15Speaker 2: We can do whatever we want, can do whatever we want.
- 4:17Speaker 3: I'm speaking of Mark.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Yes, did you know all the other podcasts have their
- 4:22Speaker 4: own mic flags.
- 4:24Speaker 1: This is a thing as well. This is not a
- 4:26Speaker 1: Mark thing. I wouldn't even know how to change in
- 4:30Speaker 1: mic flag.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I know how to change a mic flag, you.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Have to take the whole microphone.
- 4:34Speaker 3: There's a whole, but I'll show you there's no Oh no,
- 4:36Speaker 3: I don't want.
- 4:37Speaker 2: To do it.
- 4:37Speaker 1: It's a terrible idea. What are you doing?
- 4:40Speaker 3: Do it on this one?
- 4:41Speaker 4: But I can do it on the one Beca's using.
- 4:43Speaker 4: It's very easy. So basically all you do is you
- 4:46Speaker 4: undo that.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I don't want to do that. Undoing anything makes me nervous.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I told, I explained that to her. I said, I
- 4:51Speaker 2: think we definitely should have them when we do it
- 4:53Speaker 2: in the other room with guests. We should have our
- 4:55Speaker 2: own mic flag because I don't know how we have
- 4:57Speaker 2: been one of the longest running podcasts that I HEARTMA
- 5:00Speaker 2: and don't have our own microphone.
- 5:02Speaker 3: You know why? Because we're just nice and kind and agreeable.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Why with that?
- 5:07Speaker 2: I didn't know anything about it until you sent me.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I didn't even know what that's.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Called desk, and I see call it what it is.
- 5:14Speaker 4: I see, I'm a Charlotte Mike flags. I see all
- 5:18Speaker 4: these new podcasts have these shiny, bright new toys.
- 5:21Speaker 3: What a scrubbing and have nothing nothing? Well, I'm about.
- 5:26Speaker 1: To I don't think mike flags are something that our
- 5:28Speaker 1: listeners care about.
- 5:29Speaker 3: You never know they care about an intro.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Well, they have to hear that every week. The Mike
- 5:33Speaker 1: flags that can be oblivious to.
- 5:37Speaker 2: About the respect.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah. By the way, the Mike flags is a little
- 5:40Speaker 1: cube thing under the microphone that has a logo.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're watching the videos, this little.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Square say honor with Ryan Seacrest.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I know that's what I said. I said, since we
- 5:51Speaker 2: do the podcast most of the time in the studio,
- 5:53Speaker 2: it's fine. You don't want to have to switch them
- 5:54Speaker 2: every time. Feels annoying. However, in the other room, WHI
- 5:57Speaker 2: should ever, even if we hold them by themselves, What
- 6:02Speaker 2: if we just held them while we were in here.
- 6:04Speaker 3: It's really not that hard. We could do it ourselves.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I could teach you.
- 6:07Speaker 4: I'm not gonna do it now because we had to
- 6:08Speaker 4: unplug the microphones, but it really takes five seconds.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Anything unplugging is too much to me, especially I would
- 6:14Speaker 2: imagine for Easton as the engineer who has to deal
- 6:16Speaker 2: with the sound, and we had our.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Home studios, I would change my flag all the time.
- 6:20Speaker 4: I don't know why now that I think about it,
- 6:22Speaker 4: but I know how to do it, so I could
- 6:24Speaker 4: do it.
- 6:24Speaker 2: For us.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I'm happy to volunteer as tribute.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Did you notice anything new about me?
- 6:31Speaker 3: Your hair is different? It is different. Did you curl
- 6:34Speaker 3: it differently?
- 6:35Speaker 2: Yeah? I waved it with the curling iron because I
- 6:39Speaker 2: normally have it blown out with like the dice and
- 6:40Speaker 2: air up. It was kind of supposed to be a
- 6:42Speaker 2: joke because of your hair thing, because I was dying
- 6:45Speaker 2: at the comments and people were like, I went through
- 6:47Speaker 2: the last five weeks and her hair is pulled back.
- 6:50Speaker 2: And I went through and I was like, there's no way.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Her hairs down a lot, and then every video it's
- 6:55Speaker 2: pulled back in like a low ponytail braider bun.
- 6:59Speaker 3: So so here's the here's the skinny on that.
- 7:04Speaker 4: My hair is usually half a half down like it
- 7:06Speaker 4: is today, so it is pulled back on the top.
- 7:09Speaker 3: But I'm it's always down.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Not always, not always.
- 7:12Speaker 2: No, there was one where it was like this, and
- 7:14Speaker 2: the rest were like all that. It was so eye
- 7:18Speaker 2: opening because I was like, oh, maybe she's right, like
- 7:21Speaker 2: I normally notice hair stuff, But I get why I
- 7:23Speaker 2: didn't notice anything different because there wasn't anything different.
- 7:26Speaker 4: I never wear it in that topsy turley hair thing,
- 7:29Speaker 4: but I did.
- 7:30Speaker 1: But the problem is that was behind you, Like, we
- 7:32Speaker 1: can't see behind you right right.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I know the back of my hair is no no
- 7:36Speaker 3: issue for me.
- 7:36Speaker 1: That was a good problem Crystal put together.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah, she kills it. It was Crystal's birthday. I don't
- 7:42Speaker 2: even know when this is airing, but last week La
- 7:45Speaker 2: and I just need to say, happy birthday, christ We
- 7:48Speaker 2: love you and appreciate you so much.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Happy birthday, Crystal.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Happy birthday, Happy birthday, Crystal.
- 7:58Speaker 3: We love you, we love you, we love you.
- 8:03Speaker 4: What a gift again to the world, a gift to
- 8:06Speaker 4: our scrubbing in community, a gift to all.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I got my lips tattooed. So it's called lip blush.
- 8:15Speaker 3: By the way, we're reverting back to your hair. I
- 8:16Speaker 3: like it. Like this, I think better, Okay, thank you.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll take that into consideration while I'm doing my hair.
- 8:24Speaker 2: If I'm going to see you, what just tan you like? No?
- 8:29Speaker 2: I got so I went and it's called lip blushing,
- 8:32Speaker 2: and it's where they do tattoo lip color. So they're
- 8:36Speaker 2: really it's really intense right now. So once so basically
- 8:39Speaker 2: it does what it tattoo does. Well, I guess it
- 8:42Speaker 2: feels intense to me because I don't normally wear like
- 8:44Speaker 2: bright pinkish colors. But basically after a week it'll go
- 8:49Speaker 2: through the process like a tattoo, and it'll like really
- 8:51Speaker 2: dry and scab and then it'll and then it'll just
- 8:54Speaker 2: be like natural and I'll just have like a permanent
- 8:55Speaker 2: lip color.
- 8:56Speaker 1: So then you don't have to ever wear a lipstick.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I don't have to. I do, but I don't have to,
- 9:00Speaker 2: Like if I wake up and I'm just like gorgeous glowing.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Yeah, but if the tattoo takes whatever a fact a
- 9:08Speaker 1: month from now, are you done with lip gloss and
- 9:10Speaker 1: lipstick or you're going to keep doing it.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I'll put gloss on to give it shine, and I'll
- 9:15Speaker 2: use lip liner, but I don't need to put a color.
- 9:18Speaker 3: There's two different things.
- 9:19Speaker 4: There's a color color, I put the color, and then
- 9:23Speaker 4: you put the gloss on top.
- 9:24Speaker 2: So that's just like clear, right.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yeah, So the tattoo is to stop using what product this?
- 9:28Speaker 2: No? Well yeah, but it's really nute. It's just to
- 9:31Speaker 2: like enhance my like not having to wear makeup. If
- 9:36Speaker 2: I don't want to wear makeup, I can just like
- 9:38Speaker 2: feel like I like this because.
- 9:41Speaker 1: She literally did. Yeah, Okay, how painful.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Was that Okay, so this is a good question. You
- 9:47Speaker 2: get numbed, so, oh it's that bad? Yeah, you get
- 9:51Speaker 2: um Yeah, you have so many nerve dings in your lips.
- 9:55Speaker 2: So the first I would say hour, it's probably like
- 9:59Speaker 2: a hour and a half total. It's like a vibration.
- 10:03Speaker 2: You don't feel any pain, Like I could fall asleep
- 10:06Speaker 2: because I hear the sound of the.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 2: And then the last thirty minutes when she starts going
- 10:13Speaker 2: over places that she already went and like the like
- 10:16Speaker 2: like the cup, it's bow quite painful. I would say
- 10:20Speaker 2: a six point five out of ten.
- 10:21Speaker 1: That's to wear off.
- 10:23Speaker 2: At that point, I'm either assuming yeah, I guess that
- 10:26Speaker 2: is that. Yeah, it's a commitment, but I love it.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I've had it done before, so it's a little bit
- 10:33Speaker 2: about me.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Why have you had it done multiple times because it
- 10:36Speaker 1: wears off?
- 10:36Speaker 2: Yeah, because you know, like with your lips, and it's
- 10:39Speaker 2: not like going super deep like a regular tattoo, because
- 10:42Speaker 2: you don't want to go like that deep into your lips,
- 10:44Speaker 2: so it's it's more like surface level, so you just
- 10:46Speaker 2: get them touched up.
- 10:47Speaker 1: It's probably been like a year and a half since
- 10:49Speaker 1: I did it.
- 10:51Speaker 2: It's so fun. I love stuff like, I just love it.
- 10:57Speaker 3: I don't.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Oh, it's like.
- 11:02Speaker 3: You know what, yeah, profound.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Sometimes I think like I'm like, you know, I go
- 11:09Speaker 4: back and forth with this, like I just want to
- 11:11Speaker 4: wear sweats every day, but I also want to look
- 11:13Speaker 4: cute and I also want to like, you know, all
- 11:15Speaker 4: the things. And it's exhausting being a woman feeling like
- 11:21Speaker 4: like for me personally, I can't speak for you or
- 11:23Speaker 4: for any other woman out there wanting to present yourself
- 11:26Speaker 4: in like a nice way, you know, Like I don't
- 11:28Speaker 4: want to look like slobko bob, even though I do
- 11:30Speaker 4: a lot of the times like roll out in my
- 11:32Speaker 4: sweats and stuff. I don't want to present that way.
- 11:35Speaker 4: I want to present myself like a strong business woman,
- 11:37Speaker 4: you know. So I do have to put some effort
- 11:39Speaker 4: into it, but gosh, the crimping of the hair, putting on,
- 11:45Speaker 4: like putting on makeup every day and I don't do it,
- 11:47Speaker 4: but the last three days I put makeup on every
- 11:49Speaker 4: single day for three days in a row, and it's
- 11:52Speaker 4: just like exhausting.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I love.
- 11:54Speaker 4: It, Oh, I like look forward to doing it, you
- 11:59Speaker 4: like we get already. Like there's two types of people
- 12:01Speaker 4: in this world. The ones who travel like me, who
- 12:05Speaker 4: I use that as my excuse to like not wear makeup,
- 12:08Speaker 4: wear whatever comfy is, clothes I can possibly put on
- 12:10Speaker 4: my body and that's how I travel. Becca puts makeup
- 12:15Speaker 4: on to get on the airplane.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I just want to you want to which
- 12:21Speaker 2: is I know?
- 12:22Speaker 3: Which is like so nice? Like I wish I had that.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I also think my mom always like made herself presentable
- 12:29Speaker 2: when she left, so it was like and not in
- 12:30Speaker 2: a way. She never made me feel like I had
- 12:32Speaker 2: to do that. But I just saw, you know, I
- 12:35Speaker 2: just watched that, and so I love it. But I
- 12:37Speaker 2: don't feel any type of like resentment about it.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Yeah, like you if I had put makeup on to
- 12:45Speaker 4: go to the airport, I would be.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Annoyed it myself.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Yeah, but again, different types of people in the world,
- 12:52Speaker 4: different strokes for different folks.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Is anyone watching the Pit?
- 12:56Speaker 1: No, I feel like I'm cheating on grays if I
- 12:59Speaker 1: watched the pitch.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Okay, so about the Pulse, So okay, I'm hearing I'm
- 13:03Speaker 2: hearing about the Pulse. The pit I tried to watch.
- 13:06Speaker 2: It was a little too glory for me. But everyone
- 13:08Speaker 2: has been like, just get through the first episode, you'll
- 13:10Speaker 2: ad just so I did. Now I'm like very locked in.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I want I'm just like I'm excited to go home
- 13:14Speaker 2: and watch after this eight or nine. Okay, it's very
- 13:21Speaker 2: there's no music, so it's very just like it feels
- 13:25Speaker 2: like you're in the er. It's very intense storylines, and
- 13:30Speaker 2: it's going hour by hour of this shift in the er.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Oh, that's cool. An hour of Yes, it's like twenty four,
- 13:37Speaker 1: like it's real.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Time, yes, or of a shift, so it's not twenty four,
- 13:41Speaker 2: it's like whatever, the shift forty twelve maybe tween episodes
- 13:45Speaker 2: of okay, so fifteen hour shift.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, so episodes.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Every episode is an hour from the same shift.
- 13:52Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 13:53Speaker 2: It's cool, but it is little glorier and there's no.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Nine am. Oh that's great.
- 14:00Speaker 2: A lot of people said, now that they've watched The Pit,
- 14:02Speaker 2: trying to watch any other medical shows that they feel
- 14:05Speaker 2: so corny.
- 14:06Speaker 1: That's the problem and corny.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Yeah, and I heard the everyone's like, you need to
- 14:13Speaker 2: watch the Pulse. It's more like Gray's And I'm like, but.
- 14:17Speaker 4: I'll I can't make a decision the Pulse or Pit.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Pulse or Pit Pit pulsor pit. Maybe start with the
- 14:24Speaker 2: pulse and then watch the pit if it's hard to
- 14:25Speaker 2: go back.
- 14:26Speaker 1: The pulse is ten episodes. If that's.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Say, I imagine you'll like the pulse more.
- 14:35Speaker 3: We'll do you.
- 14:36Speaker 2: But I think you watch the pulse and I'm watching
- 14:38Speaker 2: the pit and then we can compare and see. You
- 14:41Speaker 2: can be like, oh you should watch that.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Okay, I'll watch it tonight.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Do it.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I will have time, okay, town so Mama gets what
- 14:50Speaker 3: she wants.
- 14:51Speaker 2: MoMA. The other day we were supposed to meet for
- 14:54Speaker 2: a walk and Tanya.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Was like, I first she didn't.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Mean, but she said, I have Sonny. I just parked
- 15:03Speaker 2: at the Maybourne Hotel and I'm gonna go to Daddy's
- 15:07Speaker 2: office while I wait for you. And I thumbs downed
- 15:10Speaker 2: it because I was like, why would you say daddy
- 15:12Speaker 2: to me? And she was like And so then I'm
- 15:15Speaker 2: going into a doctor's appointment and she's rapid fire. I'm
- 15:18Speaker 2: like trying to listen to the doctor. My phone is
- 15:19Speaker 2: just like vibrating, and I'm like, who is texting me?
- 15:23Speaker 2: And she's like, why did you thumbs down it? Are
- 15:25Speaker 2: you okay? Hi? What's going on? And I finally get
- 15:29Speaker 2: out the doctors. I'm like, I thumbs downed it because
- 15:31Speaker 2: you said daddy, and she was like, oh my god,
- 15:33Speaker 2: that's a typo. And I'm like, okay, well you're typing
- 15:35Speaker 2: it too much of big honor correct to daddy? What
- 15:38Speaker 2: is that?
- 15:40Speaker 3: What are you trying to run, Robbie?
- 15:42Speaker 1: That doesn't work that way.
- 15:44Speaker 2: No.
- 15:44Speaker 4: I meant to say, I have Sonny, I'm gonna go
- 15:46Speaker 4: to Robbie's office, and the I'm gonna walk your way
- 15:48Speaker 4: to your doctor's appointment, and it's correct it to daddy's office.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yea.
- 15:52Speaker 3: In my mind, I didn't know that I wrote daddy.
- 15:54Speaker 4: So I just see her thumbs down. I'm like, does
- 15:55Speaker 4: that mean she's not meeting me for my walk?
- 15:57Speaker 2: Like?
- 15:57Speaker 4: What am I supposed to do with this thumb's down?
- 15:59Speaker 4: I had no idea what that thumbs down? So I
- 16:00Speaker 4: was panicking.
- 16:01Speaker 3: I'm like, hello, hello, right mind.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Just parked at the Maybourne, Gonna go visit Daddy at work,
- 16:08Speaker 2: then head toward Bedford. It's even worse than I remembered.
- 16:14Speaker 2: It deserved it thumbs down, visit Daddy at work. The
- 16:18Speaker 2: fact that your phone autocorrect Robbie did daddy? Lets me
- 16:22Speaker 2: know that language is being used too often.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Honestly, or maybe it was like I don't even know.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't need to know more details about what
- 16:34Speaker 2: I'm just gonna go with autocorrect.
- 16:36Speaker 3: That's enough. Oh my gosh.
- 16:39Speaker 2: But we do have some dear bonnier questions. So we're
- 16:42Speaker 2: gonna take a break and we'll be right back. All right,
- 17:03Speaker 2: we are back with some dear bonya cues.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Hi bt m e. This one starts. I like that.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I just looking at pictures of Walton gogin speedo.
- 17:14Speaker 4: So I was just very alarming on the TV. Quickly
- 17:21Speaker 4: yellow banana hammock.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Yeah, since you loved wanting to help people found your podcast.
- 17:26Speaker 1: It was my sister. I would often wake up and
- 17:28Speaker 1: she had you on blast while getting ready and giggling
- 17:30Speaker 1: to herself. I am part of the l g B
- 17:32Speaker 1: t Q plus community and she had me listen to
- 17:34Speaker 1: Becka's episode about going public with Haley, and I've been
- 17:37Speaker 1: hooked ever since. I don't think you'll realize how much
- 17:39Speaker 1: you brighten people's days. Well, that's very sweet. This is
- 17:41Speaker 1: from Oh she signed this PDA PTSD. I want to
- 17:46Speaker 1: ask Beca how she and Haley have become so comfortable
- 17:49Speaker 1: with PDA in public. I admire how you are so yourselves,
- 17:52Speaker 1: even in large settings like Tanya's wedding. It's probably a
- 17:55Speaker 1: testament to the people you surround yourself with. I have
- 17:57Speaker 1: been with my girlfriend two years and I'm still very
- 17:59Speaker 1: heah to hold hands in public because of people staring
- 18:02Speaker 1: or judging. In the beginning of our relationships, she was
- 18:04Speaker 1: okay with but her love language is physical touch. It's
- 18:07Speaker 1: become a rift lately. We're both accepted by friends and
- 18:10Speaker 1: most family, but it's the others that stressed me out.
- 18:13Speaker 1: We've gone to functions where you wouldn't even think we
- 18:15Speaker 1: were together, as I'll just keep myself busy talking to others,
- 18:18Speaker 1: which leads to arguments, especially because I've been hit on
- 18:22Speaker 1: before because it's not clear that I'm with someone. I've
- 18:24Speaker 1: just had bad experiences in the past with things said
- 18:26Speaker 1: to me or stare that it's always in the back
- 18:28Speaker 1: of my mind. We have two weddings to attend this year.
- 18:31Speaker 1: My girlfriend has made it clear that she wants us
- 18:33Speaker 1: to act and look like a couple. I know she's
- 18:35Speaker 1: my person, but I am scared that she will become
- 18:37Speaker 1: frustrated with my insecurities around this and a note. We
- 18:40Speaker 1: do live in a city that is very accepting of
- 18:42Speaker 1: the community, but I still feel uncomfortable. Any advice would
- 18:45Speaker 1: be appreciated in Tanya, congrats on such a picturesque wedding,
- 18:49Speaker 1: Love you all.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of when we first started. I
- 18:54Speaker 2: think around family and people that I wasn't sure how
- 18:58Speaker 2: they'd react. I was a little more are held back
- 19:02Speaker 2: with PDA, but I think Haley and I had a
- 19:04Speaker 2: conversation about it, and she was always very clear she
- 19:07Speaker 2: didn't want to feel hidden or like put back in
- 19:10Speaker 2: the closet, and so I think as soon as she
- 19:13Speaker 2: explained that feeling to me, I was like, Okay, then
- 19:15Speaker 2: I think I need to practice when I'm in situations.
- 19:18Speaker 2: I would say I'm very rarely in situations where I'm
- 19:21Speaker 2: around people who make me feel un comfortable. I try
- 19:24Speaker 2: to avoid those at all costs. But I also think
- 19:27Speaker 2: living in LA like that part of it is super easy,
- 19:30Speaker 2: Like I've never questioned it, just walking around with her
- 19:32Speaker 2: in public, and again, you're right, I do surround myself
- 19:35Speaker 2: with people who are very supportive and loving, and even
- 19:38Speaker 2: at weddings. Not that Tanya's wedding felt like there was
- 19:41Speaker 2: anyone there.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Who would care, literally no one.
- 19:44Speaker 2: I think we've also been together for a long time.
- 19:47Speaker 3: But I think I've met most of those people.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Yeah, But I think it's also how you approach the
- 19:53Speaker 2: confidence of your relationships. So it's kind of like how
- 19:58Speaker 2: we've talked about We've talked about this a lot on
- 20:00Speaker 2: the podcast, Like if you're going on a date with
- 20:02Speaker 2: someone and you have a kid, instead of instead of
- 20:05Speaker 2: presenting it like timidly like oh I have a by
- 20:08Speaker 2: the way, like, don't be upset, but I have a kid,
- 20:11Speaker 2: it's kind of.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Tell you something. Yeah.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I think it's so important to practice confidence, and a
- 20:19Speaker 2: lot of that comes with just ignoring any of the
- 20:22Speaker 2: noise that could come or who cares what people are
- 20:25Speaker 2: looking or staring. I think if you're confident about who
- 20:27Speaker 2: you're with and you love the person you're with, you
- 20:29Speaker 2: want to show them affection. I think it just shows
- 20:32Speaker 2: people like, Wow, they're very confident in who they are
- 20:35Speaker 2: and like how they love their person.
- 20:37Speaker 3: But also like who cares what strangers think?
- 20:41Speaker 2: Like I do care, like you're very much.
- 20:45Speaker 3: I don't care about people I know.
- 20:47Speaker 2: So I'm trying to come at her from a perspective
- 20:49Speaker 2: of someone who does care.
- 20:50Speaker 4: Because like somebody who I feel like, I'm probably like
- 20:53Speaker 4: your partner, because I also like physical touch and I
- 20:56Speaker 4: love PDA, and like I feel like I take it
- 20:58Speaker 4: to an extreme, like all grab Robbie's crotch.
- 21:00Speaker 6: And Yeah's crotch, So I feel like that would be
- 21:07Speaker 6: really that would hurt my feelings if he my partner,
- 21:12Speaker 6: didn't reciprocate that PDA back.
- 21:14Speaker 4: So like I can empathize with your partner feeling that way,
- 21:16Speaker 4: feeling slighted.
- 21:18Speaker 2: It's also though sometimes I know Haley will always be like, oh,
- 21:21Speaker 2: like it made me feel so loved when you came
- 21:23Speaker 2: up and just like put your hand on my back.
- 21:25Speaker 2: It doesn't have to be these like brand displays of affection.
- 21:30Speaker 2: But I think even going up and touching her back
- 21:33Speaker 2: or rubbing her back or just like holding squeezing her hand.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I think little things like that will just even if
- 21:38Speaker 2: that's how you have to ease into it. It doesn't
- 21:40Speaker 2: need to be anything like grabbing her crotch, right, It
- 21:44Speaker 2: doesn't need to be that, And it can be something
- 21:46Speaker 2: as simple as letting her know that you're letting other
- 21:50Speaker 2: people know who are watching you, that that is your
- 21:53Speaker 2: person and that you are not single or available to
- 21:55Speaker 2: be hit on. And I think just making her feel
- 21:58Speaker 2: like you're proud of her, because even though you can
- 22:00Speaker 2: say it in words and when you're alone do things,
- 22:04Speaker 2: It's like showing that type of love and affection in
- 22:07Speaker 2: front of the world is really important, I think, and
- 22:11Speaker 2: especially in a queer relationship. It's especially right now, like
- 22:16Speaker 2: it's just so important to feel like proud and confident
- 22:18Speaker 2: in your relationship and make the person that you love
- 22:22Speaker 2: proudly know that you love them.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Yes, I'm Atanya. I could care less what anyone thinks.
- 22:28Speaker 1: And I'm in the minority in my family because my
- 22:29Speaker 1: wife is a Becca or a PDA PTSD. She's very,
- 22:34Speaker 1: very always concerned about other people thinking. It drives me
- 22:36Speaker 1: crazy because who cares? And I guess the point is
- 22:41Speaker 1: in your situation, the people who care are biggots, and
- 22:45Speaker 1: so why would you care what biggots think? Like that
- 22:47Speaker 1: should be the last thing on your mind. I think
- 22:50Speaker 1: you need to get to a place of out and
- 22:51Speaker 1: proud and everything BECA just said is right, And I
- 22:53Speaker 1: know it's a process, yeah, but out and proud with
- 22:56Speaker 1: whatever that out inness may be, it doesn't even have
- 22:59Speaker 1: to be your part and your relationship, your sexual leanings.
- 23:05Speaker 1: It could be anything. Be proud with who you are
- 23:07Speaker 1: and what you want to be. And I have a
- 23:09Speaker 1: quote because we always have quotes. We love quotes. Life
- 23:11Speaker 1: is a game of three parts, and the first part
- 23:13Speaker 1: you're very concerned about what people think about you, and
- 23:16Speaker 1: in the second part, you don't care what people think
- 23:18Speaker 1: about you. But in the third and final part, you
- 23:20Speaker 1: realize people were never thinking about you.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Oh wow, so true.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Think about that.
- 23:26Speaker 4: I never look at people that are like kissing in
- 23:28Speaker 4: public and think like weirdos.
- 23:31Speaker 1: No, but I will look at people kissing in public
- 23:33Speaker 1: because it's great and holding hands love is love, and
- 23:36Speaker 1: yeah is wonderful. I think it's fantastic love. I love
- 23:39Speaker 1: out and proud people. I think it's awesome.
- 23:41Speaker 2: I also think I always see, like when I see
- 23:44Speaker 2: two women holding hands, I'm like, oh my god. Like
- 23:47Speaker 2: I feel like it's like a secret club that I
- 23:49Speaker 2: get to be a part of. Like I like, we're
- 23:51Speaker 2: all in this club together. And so I think it's
- 23:54Speaker 2: so important for people who are maybe scared or in
- 23:56Speaker 2: the closet to see people like you and your girlfriend
- 23:58Speaker 2: out showing book affection. Like, it's so important for people
- 24:03Speaker 2: to see that. And also people who are out like
- 24:04Speaker 2: Haley and I have been to see people and be like,
- 24:06Speaker 2: oh my god, lesbians, you know it's fun. So I
- 24:12Speaker 2: hope that you can lean into feeling confident and making
- 24:15Speaker 2: sure that you don't care about because Mark's so right,
- 24:18Speaker 2: like the people who who, the people who care don't matter,
- 24:20Speaker 2: and the people who matter don't care.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm just spinning out the clots like it's nothing.
- 24:26Speaker 1: That's good. All right, let's see from a confused scrubber. Hello, Tanya, Becka,
- 24:32Speaker 1: Mark and Easton. Last year, I ended up in a
- 24:34Speaker 1: situationship with a guy after we both ended previous relationships.
- 24:37Speaker 1: At the time, I was happy to keep things casual
- 24:39Speaker 1: as I was still healing. Along the way, I caught
- 24:41Speaker 1: feelings for him. I caught myself caring a lot and
- 24:43Speaker 1: getting upset if he didn't match my energy. Long story short,
- 24:46Speaker 1: he got a job at my company, so now we
- 24:48Speaker 1: see each other a few times a week. Over the
- 24:50Speaker 1: last few months, we've transitioned to being friends, keeping things
- 24:53Speaker 1: friendly in a work environment. He always seemed to reach out,
- 24:55Speaker 1: never letting too much time pass without having some contact.
- 24:58Speaker 1: But there's always been mixed signals. Recently asked me to
- 25:00Speaker 1: get a drink, but then on the day of he
- 25:02Speaker 1: seemed disengaged and it became difficult to confirm, which is
- 25:05Speaker 1: a common theme for him. After months of confused mixed
- 25:08Speaker 1: signals and mental exhaustion wondering where I stood, I asked
- 25:11Speaker 1: him please never speak to me again, which he didn't
- 25:14Speaker 1: take well. I know I can be reactionary. I realized
- 25:17Speaker 1: I still had feelings for him and cutting off contact
- 25:19Speaker 1: was the best option. I've never told him that. I
- 25:22Speaker 1: can't help but think I self sabotaged with someone I
- 25:24Speaker 1: genuinely connected with, and I really enjoyed his company. I'd
- 25:27Speaker 1: love to hear from Tanya and Becca how you navigated
- 25:29Speaker 1: each of your relationships during the difficult phases. Tanya, you've
- 25:32Speaker 1: spoken about Robbie not wanting to be exclusive early on,
- 25:35Speaker 1: and then you had to navigate the trigger event. Becca
- 25:37Speaker 1: you've shared that it took years for you to introduce
- 25:39Speaker 1: Haley to your parents, knowing how close you are to
- 25:41Speaker 1: your family. Did these events ever make you doubt you
- 25:43Speaker 1: were with the right person. Did you ever debate cutting
- 25:45Speaker 1: things off and thinking you deserved better? How did you
- 25:48Speaker 1: keep your cool during the times when things maybe didn't
- 25:50Speaker 1: go the way you pictured. Thank you so much.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Well, I didn't introduce Haley to my parents for a
- 25:56Speaker 2: long time, not because of anything Haley did me questioning
- 26:00Speaker 2: my my relationship with Haley. It was nothing about that,
- 26:05Speaker 2: But I also my whole thing with this confusion that
- 26:08Speaker 2: people experience with these people, you're the right person, isn't
- 26:12Speaker 2: going to make you feel confused?
- 26:16Speaker 3: True but false as well?
- 26:20Speaker 4: Why Yeah felt good to say, because two things can
- 26:24Speaker 4: be true at the same time.
- 26:26Speaker 3: So early days when I was dating Robbie.
- 26:29Speaker 4: I was as confused as she was because I was like,
- 26:32Speaker 4: I want to be with him, but he wasn't ready
- 26:33Speaker 4: to be an exclusive relationship.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Remember, but you know I'm gonna date someone else. And
- 26:39Speaker 3: then he was like oh no, no, no, no, what to do job?
- 26:42Speaker 3: Then he keep crawling.
- 26:43Speaker 2: But he wasn't non communicat He didn't bail on plans
- 26:46Speaker 2: or like disengage. He was very engaged when you were.
- 26:48Speaker 4: Together, municative and honest about not being ready to be
- 26:51Speaker 4: in an exclusive relationship. But that's confusing to me because
- 26:53Speaker 4: you're acting like we're in an exclusive relationship, but yet
- 26:56Speaker 4: you can't be in an exclusive relationship.
- 26:58Speaker 2: See, I disagree he was dating. He was in a
- 27:00Speaker 2: dating season, so I think you totally caught him off guard,
- 27:04Speaker 2: and so I think he was like, wait, I'm wanting
- 27:07Speaker 2: to like date and be single, but I just like
- 27:09Speaker 2: met the best girl ever, and so I have to
- 27:11Speaker 2: be honest with her about where I'm at so that
- 27:14Speaker 2: the intentions are set if she doesn't want to do this.
- 27:16Speaker 2: And so when he told you where he was, he
- 27:19Speaker 2: was very clear, and you said, okay, well I'm going
- 27:21Speaker 2: to date other people, and then he goes, wait, I
- 27:23Speaker 2: don't want you to do that. Yeah, correct, that's not this.
- 27:26Speaker 2: This is different.
- 27:27Speaker 3: It's all confusion, you know.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I just don't think the person that is meant for
- 27:32Speaker 2: you is going to make you overthink every little thing
- 27:35Speaker 2: you do like this and also throw a fit when
- 27:38Speaker 2: you set a boundary. She said a boundary and said,
- 27:41Speaker 2: don't talk to me like you're confusing me, and he
- 27:44Speaker 2: did not like it.
- 27:48Speaker 3: I don't think this is not not your guy.
- 27:50Speaker 2: If he comes back and is a man and has
- 27:53Speaker 2: like intentional conversation like hey, I'm sorry, I've been confusing
- 27:58Speaker 2: you and I really want to be with you and
- 28:00Speaker 2: date you exclusively. Great, I'm all about it. But this
- 28:04Speaker 2: guy doesn't seem like the type he's going to do that.
- 28:06Speaker 3: You might just need a little more time.
- 28:07Speaker 1: T I M.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Well, don't wait on him, is what I'm trying to tell.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Don't wait, go date other people. Don't let his paldiness
- 28:17Speaker 2: or whatever he's doing at work distract you, like you
- 28:21Speaker 2: do your own thing. And if he comes back and
- 28:24Speaker 2: can be have a mature conversation and talk to you
- 28:28Speaker 2: like a man that you deserve, email us let us know. Okay,
- 28:38Speaker 2: we do have one more email, but first we're going
- 28:42Speaker 2: to take a break. A right, we are back, So
- 29:02Speaker 2: before we get into our next dear Bonya's, we have
- 29:04Speaker 2: a jingle that was submitted for our intro song from Amanda.
- 29:08Speaker 2: This was back in March.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yeah, last month. This came in. I think we had
- 29:11Speaker 1: talked about because you had mentioned that other show with
- 29:13Speaker 1: their fun theme song, and we said, if anybody has anything,
- 29:16Speaker 1: send it on in. We'll see what we like. So
- 29:18Speaker 1: this is what she sent in, Amanda, Amanda, here we go.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Sometimes about a TV show.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Fenshion. It's too.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Named bed Tivvy and Tony.
- 29:41Speaker 3: I mean Amanda's voice is poor.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that was the bop. Also, we'd have to change
- 29:45Speaker 2: it to Tanya Yad.
- 29:46Speaker 4: Right, yeah, Tanya Rad is still technically going to be
- 29:49Speaker 4: my name.
- 29:50Speaker 3: It's gonna be Tanya Rad.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's your middle name.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, say sometimes about a TV show friendship.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Yeah, there was a couple of words. I didn't hear it.
- 29:59Speaker 1: I didn't get Yeah, more time, let's take it step through.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Let's go through the lyrics. Swimbing, Hey, sometimes about a
- 30:08Speaker 1: tee shop, mostly fenship.
- 30:14Speaker 3: It's too man?
- 30:16Speaker 1: What was that?
- 30:17Speaker 2: Too odd? Woman?
- 30:20Speaker 1: I don't think I love that?
- 30:22Speaker 2: It is too odd women?
- 30:27Speaker 3: Was it mod women?
- 30:28Speaker 1: Maybe? Mod women?
- 30:30Speaker 2: Modern woman?
- 30:31Speaker 3: Reverse? Can you rewind just a smidge?
- 30:34Speaker 1: Not really? But I can go back this much? No,
- 30:38Speaker 1: I guess I can't.
- 30:39Speaker 3: All Right, here we go swembing, hey.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Scrubbing and hey, hey, got that sometimes about a TV
- 30:46Speaker 5: show mostlyship, it's.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Too too mod women? But what did she say? Friendship and.
- 30:58Speaker 3: No friendship?
- 31:00Speaker 4: I think it's double friendship friendship friendship.
- 31:05Speaker 2: And two more women.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Here's the rest. Shoot, I'm sorry, Tilly Antony, two women
- 31:18Speaker 1: named Becket till Anton you're at Yeah, okay, I love it?
- 31:21Speaker 3: Yeah, Amanda, throw send us the lyrics.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Amanda and then well we're.
- 31:25Speaker 6: Down all it was fun, it's cute, and.
- 31:29Speaker 1: If anyone else has options, we can rotate them whatever.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Nothing i'd love more than a rotator.
- 31:35Speaker 1: We're coming to the end, I think the end of
- 31:37Speaker 1: these days scrubbing with that that is maybe coming to
- 31:41Speaker 1: an end.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I'm with it, okay, Tatum.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Day one listener and the biggest fan of the whole
- 31:46Speaker 1: scrubbing in fam here. I wrote your four names and
- 31:49Speaker 1: different orders a million times, and none of them felt right,
- 31:51Speaker 1: so we landed on scrubbing and fam. Thank you for
- 31:54Speaker 1: bringing light and love to my life every week. I
- 31:56Speaker 1: would like to hear what each of you are most
- 31:58Speaker 1: proud of in your personal life and your professional life. Tatum,
- 32:03Speaker 1: I like the name Tatum.
- 32:05Speaker 2: It's a great name. It's my cousin, my cousin's daughter's name.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a good one.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Tatum Tilly, No, that'd be good too, That's cute. Yeah.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Do you have anything off the topic.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I'll go first while you guys think of it.
- 32:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Personal life, I'm just really proud to have been in
- 32:24Speaker 1: a relationship now for twenty eight years. The summer will
- 32:26Speaker 1: be twenty.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Years, honestly. Yeah. In these days, well, sure lifetime, very
- 32:31Speaker 2: proud of that.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I'm very proud of my daughters. I'm very proud of
- 32:34Speaker 1: that whole family we've created and that kind of environment,
- 32:38Speaker 1: proud of that. Professionally, I'm very proud that I own
- 32:42Speaker 1: a house in southern California and I'm putting my daughter
- 32:44Speaker 1: through college without debt, and that is I feel like
- 32:47Speaker 1: an amazing accomplishment. And when this relationship started twenty eight
- 32:51Speaker 1: years ago, I'm not sure I was very confident that
- 32:54Speaker 1: that was going to happen. So it's pretty it's pretty great,
- 32:57Speaker 1: and I don't want to lose sight of that or
- 32:58Speaker 1: take it for granted. I need to think, Wow, I've
- 33:00Speaker 1: actually done something here.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I love that.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say personally, I would say the growth
- 33:07Speaker 2: of not I mean, I would say I'm a recovering
- 33:11Speaker 2: people pleaser, Like it still happens, but I really feel
- 33:13Speaker 2: like I've leaned into like living my life the way
- 33:17Speaker 2: that I want to despite any opinions about it and
- 33:23Speaker 2: my relationship with Haley, I feel a lot of pride
- 33:25Speaker 2: in And then I think professionally also, I was going
- 33:28Speaker 2: to say buying my house and like extending the house
- 33:30Speaker 2: into my ad like I just feel very proud that
- 33:32Speaker 2: I'm able to do that at my age and also
- 33:36Speaker 2: like not being married or having someone that's like like
- 33:40Speaker 2: being able to do it by myself. I guess yeah
- 33:43Speaker 2: feels really cool and I feel a lot of pride
- 33:45Speaker 2: in that.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Personally, I feel most proud that I really.
- 33:55Speaker 4: Feel like I march the beat of my own drum.
- 33:57Speaker 4: I really just like live my life the way I
- 34:00Speaker 4: want to live it, which I always have. And I
- 34:05Speaker 4: think in high school I was like a little embarrassed
- 34:07Speaker 4: of it, you know what I mean, Like I was
- 34:08Speaker 4: like I cared more about what people thought. I still
- 34:12Speaker 4: was myself and I was like the way that I
- 34:15Speaker 4: am now just like loud and out and like yeah
- 34:18Speaker 4: silly and goofy. But I think I cared more in
- 34:21Speaker 4: high school. Now I like really don't care, which I
- 34:23Speaker 4: like am proud of, you know. Yeah, Because like I
- 34:26Speaker 4: posted this video, the viral, the video of me that
- 34:28Speaker 4: went viral, it was like thirty three million views, Like
- 34:30Speaker 4: thirty three million views. Now I got like the meanest
- 34:33Speaker 4: comments literally on planet Earth. And I really truly can
- 34:36Speaker 4: say with like every bone in me that not one
- 34:40Speaker 4: of those comments hurt my feelings. That people that like
- 34:45Speaker 4: if it was you guys saying that stuff, it would
- 34:46Speaker 4: really hurt my feelings. I think I care about like
- 34:49Speaker 4: the people in my life with the people in my
- 34:51Speaker 4: life think about me. But strangers I like literally do
- 34:54Speaker 4: not care. And like I'm proud of that.
- 34:57Speaker 2: It's it's such a like I don't think anyone who
- 35:01Speaker 2: isn't in this like specific industry of having moments where
- 35:06Speaker 2: you go viral and having that much a spotlight or
- 35:09Speaker 2: attention on you. How incredible it is that you feel
- 35:12Speaker 2: that way, Yeah, because I would not.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but literally.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Video in two seconds? Would it have lasted?
- 35:18Speaker 4: I was like fighting back at it for a while,
- 35:20Speaker 4: And then when I went real viral, I was like,
- 35:22Speaker 4: I can't keep up with the negative, negative comments, but
- 35:24Speaker 4: I kept responding to like everybody that would say something
- 35:26Speaker 4: like you're so ugly, I was like, actually think I'm gorgeous.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Like I'm just like responding just like rage bait. Yeah,
- 35:32Speaker 3: I don't really know what that means. I just like
- 35:34Speaker 3: use it in terms.
- 35:36Speaker 4: And then professionally, I'm really proud of the fact that
- 35:42Speaker 4: just what I do every day. I feel like, especially
- 35:45Speaker 4: in this industry, things are getting so weird now, Like
- 35:50Speaker 4: TV shows are just like going away. Things are dropping,
- 35:53Speaker 4: things aren't working. Everything's shifting, and I feel like the
- 35:55Speaker 4: entertainment industry is changing, and so I just feel very
- 35:58Speaker 4: proud and grateful that I have been doing what I'm
- 36:02Speaker 4: doing now for fifteen years.
- 36:04Speaker 1: The one who calls you a cartoon character, he's not
- 36:06Speaker 1: around anymore. You're still here.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Yeah, Mom is still here, baby.
- 36:11Speaker 4: Yeah, she didn't go anywhere, and he gone, well, he's
- 36:13Speaker 4: not really gone, gone adjacent gone to Jason.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:19Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm really proud of that.
- 36:24Speaker 4: Some may say I'm a creature of habit, but I
- 36:25Speaker 4: also at the end of the day too like I'm
- 36:27Speaker 4: proud of that.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Yeah, fine, yeah, love one quick life. I had to
- 36:33Speaker 1: update from Macy Day one scrubber with a life update.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Y'all helped me out when I was dating, and I
- 36:37Speaker 1: updated you on the show when I got married, so
- 36:39Speaker 1: I thought it update you again.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Then.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I'm a proud mom to a precious baby girl. We
- 36:42Speaker 1: had March. She's a scrubbing in baby. Just wanted to
- 36:45Speaker 1: that Your show has always been a light to me,
- 36:47Speaker 1: but now you all keep me laughing during late night
- 36:48Speaker 1: nursing sessions. Thank you for keeping the show strong eight
- 36:51Speaker 1: years later. It's been a joy for me through so
- 36:52Speaker 1: many seasons of life. Tanya, I can't wait for your
- 36:55Speaker 1: mom journey. Keep us posting all the things the scrubbers
- 36:58Speaker 1: need to hear. Love you all, xox So there's.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Just something so cool thinking about someone sitting up in
- 37:03Speaker 2: the middle of the night nursing their baby and like
- 37:05Speaker 2: giggling while we just talk about nonsense. Yeah, I love it.
- 37:09Speaker 3: I did too. Podcasts.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Congratulations Macy.
- 37:12Speaker 3: So happy for you to bring up full circle.
- 37:14Speaker 2: What'd you say?
- 37:15Speaker 3: I'm proud of our podcast.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Like the obvious answer, but like having a podcast that
- 37:21Speaker 2: runs for as long as ours have, first.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Of all, is such a blessing.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Blessing and also doesn't happen for everyone who starts a podcast,
- 37:29Speaker 2: And I feel really proud and grateful for like what
- 37:33Speaker 2: we've done in the community we've created and.
- 37:35Speaker 3: And how we've handled the podcast.
- 37:37Speaker 4: I feel like we want this to be a place
- 37:39Speaker 4: of like light and levity, and it really is for people.
- 37:41Speaker 2: It really is for like Macy nursing nurse away. All Right,
- 37:46Speaker 2: it's time to say goodbye. I'm staring. I'm so hungry
- 37:50Speaker 2: I could eat a Ryan Compton. I'm literally so starming.
- 37:56Speaker 2: I could eat Ryan Compton. What, I'm so hungry?
- 38:05Speaker 3: Is he in the rundown? Brian Compton? Yeah? Do you
- 38:09Speaker 3: know who that is?
- 38:10Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 38:11Speaker 2: I know Ryan Compton. Do you know what Ryan Compton is?
- 38:13Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 38:14Speaker 3: This guy had my first kiss with what. I'm so confused.
- 38:20Speaker 2: It's a trend. Just say, I'm so hungry. I could
- 38:27Speaker 2: eat and they fix someone from like someone's life that
- 38:29Speaker 2: they like would be like, how do you know that name?
- 38:34Speaker 1: Tagged photos and find their name just to freak someone out.
- 38:37Speaker 1: And it worked.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it was perfect, Thank you so much.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Trends are so weird, so weird, but they're so fun.
- 38:42Speaker 3: So should make our own trends. Be trendsetters.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Give me some.
- 38:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna follow the trends.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Let's do oh Mark. I was thinking we should do
- 38:51Speaker 2: this because I was trying to tell Tanya that there's
- 38:53Speaker 2: these TikTok videos where people will hear blindly hear Taylor
- 38:57Speaker 2: Swift songs are like whoever whatever artists and then without
- 39:01Speaker 2: knowing what's next, they have to give it a spot
- 39:03Speaker 2: one through five, but they can't switch it. So I
- 39:05Speaker 2: think we should make our own with like the hardest. Yeah,
- 39:08Speaker 2: but I don't know how to do that. I mean,
- 39:09Speaker 2: I guess you just.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Reported to do it for you.
- 39:11Speaker 2: You just but it just needs to be a sound
- 39:14Speaker 2: that people could reuse. That's how we could start a trend.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Oh what now you're taking? Yeah, I thought we could
- 39:21Speaker 4: play that fun game. I think that's cute.
- 39:23Speaker 1: The blind ranking is fun.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, we could do that. But I
- 39:26Speaker 2: was thinking we could go any even further and do it.
- 39:29Speaker 2: We could have our own trend on TikTok. It's okay,
- 39:32Speaker 2: I'll do it. Don't you worry about it. I'll tell
- 39:33Speaker 2: Ashley all right. We love you so much. Hope you
- 39:37Speaker 2: have a great week.
- 39:44Speaker 4: The haters win, Yeah, they don't like that to be continued.
- 39:47Speaker 4: It's gone in the trash down the drain
