Hypnosis to Change a Meaning of a Childhood Symbol
This session uses a library storytelling metaphor to help listeners change the unconscious meaning of a childhood symbol. After a breathing induction referencing neuroplasticity, Adam tells the story of Alex, a boy who developed shame and disgust around buttons after witnessing another child’s odd behaviour. As Alex grows older he notices successful, respected people wearing buttons, and gradually his association shifts from shame to pride and status.
