Dell Pro Precision 9 T2 Review: Xeon 6 Brings Four Channels of DDR5-6400 and E3.S to the Single-GPU Tower
The Dell Pro Precision 9 T2 is the Xeon version of the single-GPU tower we reviewed a year ago as the Dell Pro Max Tower T2, and it arrives with two changes at once: a new name, as Dell moves its workstations back under the Precision brand, and a new platform, with Intel’s Xeon 6 replacing the Core Ultra 9 285K inside the same 32-liter chassis. Our unit shipped with the 24-core Xeon 658X, 128GB of DDR5-6400 RDIMM ECC, the 300W RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q, and two 2TB E3.S Gen5 drives striped in the front FlexBay. Configured the same way on Dell.com, it lists at about $28,300.
