- 0:00Chapter 2 from the book of Micah.
- 0:02Dear God, please be with us as we read through these words and
- 0:07let the Holy Spirit give us, give us wisdom and understanding
- 0:11and revelation in Jesus name, Amen.
- 0:16Human plans and God's plans. That's what my study Bible has
- 0:19titled this chapter. Woe to those who plan iniquity,
- 0:25to those who plot evil on their beds at morning's light.
- 0:29They carry it out because it is in their power to do it.
- 0:34They covet fields and seize them and houses and take them.
- 0:38They defraud people of their homes.
- 0:41They robbed them of their inheritance.
- 0:43Therefore, the Lord says I am planning disaster against this
- 0:49people from which you cannot save yourselves.
- 0:55So that's something that's, you know, substantial that these are
- 1:00people who are by dishonest means trying to take things from
- 1:04other people. And the Lord's saying I'm
- 1:08planning a disaster against these people from which you
- 1:11cannot save yourselves. So God is bringing judgement
- 1:15against these people. You will no longer walk proudly,
- 1:19for it will be a time of calamity.
- 1:22In that day. People will ridicule you.
- 1:26They will taunt you with this mournful song.
- 1:29We are utterly ruined. My people's possession is
- 1:32divided up. He takes it from me.
- 1:35He assigns our fields to traitors.
- 1:40So this is really interesting because I, you know, you think
- 1:47about what is, has been recently discussed and has been for a
- 1:55long time actually, but has really come into light lately is
- 1:59the dividing of Israel. And I think that this is
- 2:04something that we should pay attention to, that God does not
- 2:07want this land divided. And there is this 2 state
- 2:10solution that's being discussed. And when that happens, there's
- 2:15going to be calamity that is brought on the people for this.
- 2:19And who knows when that's actually going to be happened
- 2:23because it's been talked about several times.
- 2:25There were a couple meetings, I get think with the UN this year
- 2:29and 25 that were supposed to discuss this, but they were
- 2:34delayed or postponed or cancelled.
- 2:36And so there will be a reconvening, you know, will it
- 2:39happen later this summer? Will it happen in the fall?
- 2:42We're not sure it'll happen when it happens.
- 2:44But I do think this is applicable to us today because
- 2:49of the division of the land and people trying to get something
- 2:53that God doesn't necessarily have in His plans.
- 2:58So again, it says we are utterly ruined.
- 3:00My people's possession is divided up.
- 3:03He takes it from me. He assigns our fields to
- 3:07traitors. Therefore you will have no one
- 3:11in the assembly of the Lord to divide the land by lot.
- 3:16So there's no one in the assembly of the Lord to divide
- 3:20the land by lot. Do not prophecy.
- 3:24Their prophets say, do not prophecy about these things.
- 3:28Disgrace will not overtake us. You know, that's another thing
- 3:32that the land, it does say in Bible prophecy, the land will be
- 3:36divided. So the Bible tells us it will
- 3:39happen. But this is not something that
- 3:42God wants to have happen. And there's, you know, do not
- 3:47prophecy. Their prophets say do not
- 3:49prophecy about these things. Disgrace will not overtake us.
- 3:52Everybody's denying that this is really going to happen.
- 3:56Your descendants of Jacob, should it be said?
- 3:59Does the Lord become impatient? Does He do such things?
- 4:04Do not my words do good to the one whose ways are upright?
- 4:09OK, pay attention to that. Do not my words do good for the
- 4:13one whose ways are upright? The people who are upright and
- 4:17righteous and following the Lord, they don't have to worry
- 4:20about this. But it's the people who are not
- 4:23living by the commands God gave us that do need to worry because
- 4:29they are not protected by God and they are subject to judgment
- 4:33because of their rejection of God.
- 4:36Jesus said, if you love me, you will obey my commands, you know,
- 4:40or if you love God, obey his commands, you know.
- 4:42And if we are not obedient, if we reject obeying God's
- 4:46commands, we are subject to discipline of God.
- 4:49The Bible's really clear about that.
- 4:52Lately My people have risen up like an enemy.
- 4:56You strip off the rich robe from those who pass by without a
- 5:00care, like men returning from battle.
- 5:03You drive the women of My people from their pleasant homes.
- 5:07You take away My blessing from their children forever.
- 5:12Get up, go away, for this is not your resting place because it is
- 5:17defiled, it is ruined beyond all remedy.
- 5:22If a liar and deceiver comes and says, I will prophecy for you
- 5:27plenty of wine and beer, that would be just the profit for
- 5:31these people. I will surely gather all of you,
- 5:35Jacob. I will surely bring together the
- 5:39remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like
- 5:43sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture.
- 5:47The place will throng with people.
- 5:49The one who breaks open the way will go up before them.
- 5:54They will breakthrough the gate and go out.
- 5:57Their king will pass through before them, the Lord at their
- 6:02head. This is very interesting because
- 6:07the one who breaks will open the way.
- 6:09Why did Jesus say I am the way, the truth and the life and no
- 6:13one comes to the Father except through me?
- 6:16Do you think that was a clue for this?
- 6:18The one who breaks open the way will go up before them.
- 6:23Jesus went up before them. He died on the cross and was and
- 6:27rose to and it resurrected. He is living, he is living in
- 6:34God's, in the Kingdom of God in the heavenly realms and he has
- 6:39gone up before them, says they will breakthrough the gate and
- 6:42go out their King, which is Jesus Yeshua the Messiah, Jesus
- 6:50Christ, their King will pass through before them, the Lord at
- 6:54their head. So there are people that are
- 6:58coming before this. I mean, this is a future
- 7:00prophecy. The way that I read this is that
- 7:05it has, you know, this, this is probably like a dual
- 7:09fulfillment. Well, foreshadowing where it
- 7:13happened with the Assyrians who conquered Israel, Samaria, the
- 7:20northern Kingdom, and then it will again happen later.
- 7:25Because this is, you know, I will surely gather all of you,
- 7:30Jacob, I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel.
- 7:34If we think about the remnant, there is in Revelation, I forgot
- 7:38what chapter it is, but there's the 144,000 that are mentioned
- 7:42in Revelation and there are 12,000 from each tribe.
- 7:46But it's very interesting because each tribe is there
- 7:52isn't each tribe. There are two P2 tribes that are
- 7:57not mentioned. One of them is Dan.
- 8:00The tribe of Dan is not mentioned and Ephraim.
- 8:03Now we know Ephraim from the last few chapters that Ephraim
- 8:07was the one who is very heavily into idolatry.
- 8:11Now it's really interesting too, because Joseph has listed,
- 8:15because a lot of people, you know, will point out with the 12
- 8:17tribes that the inheritance went to Manasseh and Ephraim.
- 8:22But the from the remnant that's talked about in Revelation,
- 8:26Joseph is in there and Manasseh is in there, but Ephraim is not.
- 8:32So it's, it's very interesting. You know, what is the
- 8:36significance? I mean, the Bible's very
- 8:38specific. This is a vision that John had
- 8:41speaking with Jesus about what was going to happen.
- 8:44In the end there will be a remnant of people and they're
- 8:50represented from most of the tribes but not all the tribes so
- 8:56and God is the one who will gather the people and again they
- 9:01are like sheep in a pen. Who is the Good Shepherd?
- 9:04Jesus is known as the Good Shepherd, like a flock in its
- 9:08pasture. Sheep are believers, goats are
- 9:11the non believers, goats are the evil ones, and sheep are the the
- 9:16followers of Christ, so the followers of the Messiah.
- 9:20So there is a lot of significance in this and there
- 9:24are things that so there's people who are plotting to take
- 9:28over part of the land that God gave to Israel.
- 9:32That's very obvious. We can see that it talks about
- 9:36dividing of the land. That's being discussed and has
- 9:40been discussed for a long time. We'll see when this actually
- 9:43happens. When it happens is when God
- 9:46allows it to happen. But it will happen.
- 9:49And even the Book of Revelation says this is going to happen for
- 9:52about 42 months. The the Gentiles will trample
- 9:57the land for 42 months. I mean, it says it multiple
- 10:02times, 3 1/2 years, it's going to be divided.
- 10:06So this is future prophecy that we can look for.
- 10:12And then there's false prophets who are going to say, you know,
- 10:14oh, no, don't say any of this. You know, none of this is going
- 10:16to happen to us. You know, we're protected.
- 10:19Especially the people in Israel think, you know, they're
- 10:21protected by God, but they're not.
- 10:25They're blinded, first of all, by idolatry.
- 10:29And they, their eyes are not opened.
- 10:32And this is somewhat like God teaching them a lesson, to be
- 10:37honest. It's kind of like the discipline
- 10:38of God's children. This is what's happening.
- 10:41But God does promise a restoration and it's people who
- 10:47will turn to him at some point that you know, if someone will
- 10:52turn to God and ask for forgiveness and repent of their
- 10:55ways, change their ways and become a true follower of God,
- 11:00then they will not be subject to God's wrath.
- 11:05So this is really I, I don't know what portion of the, if
- 11:09you, it would be considered, it's probably considered the
- 11:12great tribulation period when this happens.
- 11:16So anyway, let's go through the questions and answers for this
- 11:20chapter and we'll see how far we get in here.
- 11:23So were the Were the powerful and elite the cause behind the
- 11:29nation's problems? Yes, although they were not the
- 11:32sole 'cause their injustice roused the Lord's anger and
- 11:36prompted his judgement. Many in Judah's upper class,
- 11:40some of whom were apparently government administrators,
- 11:44disregarded God's law. They used deception and fraud to
- 11:49acquire land belonging to others.
- 11:53Why would God reward traitors? The traitors, The Assyrians,
- 11:59took the property of the rich when they invaded the land.
- 12:02God wasn't rewarding the Assyrians as much as He was
- 12:06punishing the wealthy Israelites, the original traders
- 12:10who had robbed their fellow countrymen of their fields and
- 12:13houses. The rich would find out how it
- 12:15felt to be mistreated and plundered by someone more
- 12:18powerful than they were. That's again, you know, this is
- 12:22we need to have God as our priority.
- 12:24And I can relate to that because I didn't always have God as my
- 12:28priority. I knew of God.
- 12:30I knew a lot about it, but I didn't apply it.
- 12:33So I had knowledge but not wisdom.
- 12:37And that's the way people are today.
- 12:39A lot of people have knowledge, but wisdom is the application of
- 12:44that knowledge, applying it to your life and living it out, not
- 12:47just knowing about it. So if you're not applying the
- 12:52knowledge you have, you're being foolish and you are subject to
- 12:58judgement, to God's discipline or to God's wrath.
- 13:02And God will decide accordingly which thing he will do.
- 13:08Anytime he brings about discipline, it's because he
- 13:12wants people to turn back to him.
- 13:14But when people are repeatedly rebellious at a certain point,
- 13:19which is very, which I think is to me, the fear of God, at a
- 13:22certain point, when you keep rejecting God, he, he allows you
- 13:27to have what you want, he turns you over to it.
- 13:29Now I got to a point in life where I'm like, I realized God
- 13:33had been, you know, trying to get my attention and I was
- 13:35ignoring it or I was putting it off.
- 13:38And then I thought, how many more times will God let me do
- 13:41this? Is my time coming to an end
- 13:43where he's like, OK, fine, that's what you want.
- 13:45Go ahead. You can have that and then no
- 13:48longer be in God's Kingdom. Well, that was the fear of God
- 13:52that hit me and I decided that I did not want that path and that
- 13:58I would, I would, I would choose God over this.
- 14:01So I think this is where a lot of people are today.
- 14:06It's, it's a tough decision because you do have to be
- 14:11willing to change. But God does give us help
- 14:13through the Holy Spirit when we sincerely want that change in
- 14:17our life. He knows it's not humanly
- 14:20possible, and he gives us the Holy Spirit to strengthen us, to
- 14:26give us encouragement, to help us overcome the sinful ways that
- 14:31we had done before in our past. The Holy Spirit is that
- 14:35strength. But we have to yield to the Holy
- 14:38Spirit. So the decision, it starts with
- 14:41the decision. We just, we have to see it
- 14:44coming and then we have to, instead of doing what we
- 14:47naturally want to do, we have to pause and then say, God help me
- 14:52with this and God will give the strength.
- 14:55We don't have to have the strength.
- 14:56We just have to rely on God. But we have to pay attention and
- 15:01not fall into the same habit, the same sins that we've done in
- 15:06the past. We need to cut it off, get rid
- 15:10of it. Don't agree with it anymore
- 15:12because every time you agree with it, you're giving evil
- 15:16access to your life and access to cause more harm because the
- 15:21enemy doesn't want to reward you.
- 15:25Ultimately they will lure you in.
- 15:27The enemy will lure people in with nice things or desires of
- 15:33the person's heart. That's the lure of the
- 15:35manipulation. But ultimately what it's seeking
- 15:38is to destroy. And that's why it's so deceptive
- 15:42because we don't see that. We just see like the good
- 15:45things. We just see the the what we what
- 15:48we like coming in front of us. But ultimately, it's going to
- 15:52either eliminate us from God's Kingdom, or it could physically
- 15:57destroy us. There's so many different ways
- 15:59that it could happen, but it's because of us coming into
- 16:02agreement with that. Like we are rejecting God's
- 16:05will, God's way when we choose that.
- 16:09And that gives evil some legal authority in our lives.
- 16:13And so anyway, we just have to really pay attention to this
- 16:17because now is not a time to be lukewarm with your, with your
- 16:24faith, with your relationship with God.
- 16:27It's it, there's too much going on in the world that, you know,
- 16:31this stuff could be foreshadowing.
- 16:33We could have another 50 years. Maybe we will, maybe we won't.
- 16:38But you know, in the next 5 years, we should know pretty
- 16:41well if, if we are, we are not having, you know, another 50
- 16:46years or so. We'll see how it goes.
- 16:48Because this is, happens to be a Jubilee year, 2025.
- 16:53Right now we are in a Jubilee year.
- 16:56And you know, there's a lot of people who are talking about the
- 17:00rapture occurring in September and, you know, at the Feast of
- 17:04Trumpets and a lot of people. And for some reason I, I don't
- 17:11know, I mean, like I'm, I'm not really so sure about that.
- 17:14Like I just don't really feel like that's going to happen.
- 17:19But I've also had dreams and things where of raptures and
- 17:24gathering with, with Jesus, with God.
- 17:27And it's, it's always taken me by surprise.
- 17:31I was always surprised by when it happened.
- 17:32So anyway, it's something to watch for.
- 17:37But there's, you know, there's kind of like evidence,
- 17:42scriptural evidence that would support, you know, a longer
- 17:48period of time. But it also says in the Bible
- 17:52that if God had not cut those days short, no one would
- 17:56survive. So could it be that we have 50
- 17:59years, but God's going to cut that short because if he didn't,
- 18:03no one would survive. The moral decay that we have
- 18:07been headed towards in the past several years would continue and
- 18:13grow for some reason in accordance with Dead Sea Scrolls
- 18:18that were found. There were a lot of prophetic
- 18:20events that happened during Jubilee years.
- 18:23And we can see this if the land gets divided up, if Israel gets
- 18:28divided up, we will, you know, that's something that's
- 18:31prophesized that that will happen.
- 18:33That gives us another 3 1/2 years, which isn't a lot of time
- 18:37once that happens. So that'll just, you know,
- 18:42something to watch for. There's a lot like I like I
- 18:46said, it's with these things that are happening in the world,
- 18:48real world that are talked about in the Bible.
- 18:52It's not a time to just let it, you know, be lukewarm about
- 18:57stuff. You really need to be serious
- 18:59about your relationship with God and ask God what things in your
- 19:02life need to be changed so that you can be in the Kingdom of
- 19:05God. We know that Jesus made the way
- 19:07he is, just like this says in Micah.
- 19:10So this was what written in like 722 BC or something like that in
- 19:17the seven hundreds and here it is.
- 19:19Micah doesn't even realize it when he's talking as a prophet,
- 19:23he's getting this word from the Holy Spirit.
- 19:26The one who breaks open the way will go up before them.
- 19:29They will breakthrough the gate and go out.
- 19:32Their king will pass through before them, the Lord at their
- 19:35head. I also think this might be the
- 19:37Millennium because it says like the king will pass through
- 19:41before them, the Lord at their head.
- 19:43Now either that king reference means the Lord or it may be
- 19:49talking about the Millennium because I kind of think that
- 19:52David is actually going to be in the Millennium.
- 19:56And the reason why is that the dead in Christ will rise 1st and
- 20:03it talks about in this third temple, it talks about this.
- 20:10Leader, I forgot the the actual word that's used if it's called,
- 20:13if it's called Prince or I'm not sure.
- 20:17I think it might say the Prince, but he does sacrifices and he
- 20:20does a sacrifice for himself and for the people in this
- 20:24Millennium time frame. So I, you know, that's not Jesus
- 20:28that they're talking about because Jesus wouldn't need to
- 20:31do a sacrifice for himself. And then there's other prophecy
- 20:36that alludes to David and I found found it somewhere when I
- 20:40was studying in the Bible. And I don't recall where it is,
- 20:43but I do wonder if you know, of course, this is an
- 20:47interpretation, but I did find it in Scripture that David will
- 20:51be present. And you know, David will be like
- 20:54with Jesus Messiah and in the third temple.
- 21:01When that happens during the millennial reign, because I
- 21:04believe there will be a third temple in the millennial reign.
- 21:07And I this is a personal opinion.
- 21:09I just think that this thousand year reign is specifically and
- 21:14most importantly for the Israelites that they will, it's,
- 21:21it's a time of restoration, a time where they got they get to
- 21:29have a real life relationship with Jesus the Messiah.
- 21:36And this goes on for 1000 years before eternity begins.
- 21:41So people will still die during this time frame, but there's
- 21:44going to be mortal and immortal people living at the same time,
- 21:48which and then there's going to be this peace that that's when
- 21:51the peace will happen after Jesus returns.
- 21:53There will be peace between animals, you know, predatory
- 21:57type animals will not do that anymore.
- 22:00They lie down together. There is just like this unknown
- 22:03peace that we've never seen before.
- 22:05So it's this wonderful time that's ahead, but there's going
- 22:09to be some very troubling times that happen before we get to
- 22:12that point. OK, now how could people take
- 22:16away God's blessing? Each family in Israel had a
- 22:20blessing from God on inheritance of land.
- 22:23OK, so when we talk about dividing the land, the land
- 22:26we're talking about dividing in 2025 is the land that God
- 22:30promised the Israelites. Now, will the Israelites ever
- 22:34agree to divide up the land? Will they do it in exchange for
- 22:38peace? That's probably a good
- 22:42probability, but I can't imagine if they know their word, they
- 22:46would never let go of that land. And so we'll just have to see
- 22:50how this unfolds. But the rich had stolen the
- 22:54blessing of many families by evicting them from their land
- 22:58through a combination of exorbitant interest rates, debt
- 23:02slavery, excessive taxation, oppressive economic regulation,
- 23:07and unfair judicial decisions sometimes secured by bribery.
- 23:11OK, so maybe the Israelites don't agree to this because they
- 23:16know the word of God, and maybe they say no, but then maybe
- 23:21somebody comes in and does the same things that happened when
- 23:27the Assyrians conquered the northern Kingdom of Israel.
- 23:31Where there's exorbitant interest rates, there's debt,
- 23:35there's excessive taxation, oppressive economic regulations,
- 23:41and unfair judicial decisions. All those things could take
- 23:45place today where it's not really something that they say
- 23:49were agreed to, but it just happens due to external
- 23:54circumstances. Widows and orphans were
- 23:58especially vulnerable to such injustice because they lacked
- 24:02clout in the economic and legal systems.
- 24:05So why would a liar be just the profit for this people?
- 24:09This was a sarcastic statement. Most of the people resented
- 24:12being called sinners, and we're not interested in Michael's
- 24:15warning of judgement. Instead, they preferred to think
- 24:18that God was going to bless them with good crops.
- 24:23False prophets told the people what they wanted to hear and
- 24:27gave them a false sense of security.
- 24:31Well, Bible prophecy tells us that will happen again.
- 24:34When they say peace and safety or peace and security, then
- 24:38sudden destruction will come upon them.
- 24:41So the same things people want to hear things.
- 24:43Nobody likes to think of themselves as a Sinner.
- 24:46That's why God is looking for like the humble will be exalted
- 24:50because those who humble, all the people who have accepted God
- 24:54and have turned to God acknowledge our sin.
- 25:01We acknowledge, yes, we were sin, we were sinners, we were
- 25:05against God, we were in rebellion.
- 25:07Nobody likes to say that they were that.
- 25:10And that's a prideful thing. If someone doesn't, you know,
- 25:13it's because of their pride. They're like, well, I'm good.
- 25:15I do all these good deeds and things like that.
- 25:18But it the Bible tells us very clearly that every single
- 25:22person, there is no one good but God.
- 25:25So if you are not God, which we aren't, then we are a Sinner by
- 25:31default. We all are.
- 25:32So when we humble ourselves and can say, yes, we're a Sinner,
- 25:36yes, we've sinned, But also, you know, I, I see so many people
- 25:41just say, you know, again, thank, thank God for grace
- 25:45because I'm a Sinner. It doesn't mean unrepentant sin.
- 25:50It doesn't mean you can keep on going in your sin and think that
- 25:54grace saves you. Grace, as I've looked deeper
- 25:58into it, is actually like the power of the Holy Spirit.
- 26:03It is a gift from God. The Holy Spirit is a gift from
- 26:06God. The Holy Spirit brings power.
- 26:08Grace is power to overcome sin, not to remain in sin.
- 26:14So a lot of people are, you know, again, their, their ears,
- 26:18they want to hear that they can keep on doing what they do and
- 26:20they keep, they want to hear that God is love because God is
- 26:24love. But they just say, OK, God is
- 26:27love. He's just going to love me.
- 26:29He loves the sinners, He does love the sinners, but he doesn't
- 26:32love the sin. You got to get rid.
- 26:33You got to circumcise yourself of sin.
- 26:37And the Holy Spirit helped us do that.
- 26:39So there's like a step that people are just missing and they
- 26:43are unsaved people thinking they are saved.
- 26:48And it is very concerning to me. And I feel like I feel like a
- 26:51mica today, like talking about things that people don't want to
- 26:56hear. They want to reject this
- 26:58message. They don't want to think about
- 27:01judgment. They don't want to think that
- 27:03they are unsaved. They don't want to.
- 27:06And so they're going to keep on sinning, keep on going against
- 27:10God's will. And if they don't repent and
- 27:14stop, they're going to find out the hard way by discipline or
- 27:19judgement. And God doesn't show favoritism.
- 27:24You can think that you're in a great relationship with God, but
- 27:27if you are in rebellion with God, you are subject to
- 27:32discipline. And when it happens, don't blame
- 27:37God because I've, I've had discipline myself, but I brought
- 27:42it on myself. I can say that now, you know, I
- 27:44can say like, yeah, I was rebellious to God and God
- 27:48disciplined me. And thankfully I made the choice
- 27:52to get closer to God rather than get angry with God because
- 27:57that's the, you know, that's what people can do.
- 27:59Sometimes people, when they have discipline or judgement, they
- 28:04get angry with God and then they reject God.
- 28:07And that's really unfortunate because by doing so, they're
- 28:11going to, if they don't, if they don't change their mind about
- 28:15that, they are going to be outside of God's Kingdom and
- 28:21they will not inherit the Kingdom of God with other
- 28:26people. And they will not experience all
- 28:29the blessings of God and all the peace and all the love that God
- 28:33has in store for all the people who will turn to him.
- 28:37And we are in a season where people seem to be turning to
- 28:42him. And I hope they are.
- 28:44No one can know. Just like Jesus said in the
- 28:47parable of the wheat and the tares, the wheat are the people
- 28:51who have really turned to God and the tares are the ones who
- 28:54might appear like they have turned to God.
- 28:57Like they do some of the things that, you know, maybe they show
- 29:00up in a church thing or they do good deeds.
- 29:03They look like the other ones, but they haven't repented of
- 29:07their sin. They haven't had a changed life.
- 29:09They haven't been born again. And we won't know who those
- 29:13people are because on their outward appearance, appearance,
- 29:16they look pretty good. They look like they're doing the
- 29:18right thing, but they are far from God in in reality.
- 29:24And when Jesus comes, that's when it will be exposed who is
- 29:30really the wheat, who is really turned towards God and who is a
- 29:36fake, a fake Christian, I guess really is because you know,
- 29:41there's there's evil. They haven't turned.
- 29:42They're just like visibly on the outside looking like 1 because
- 29:46there's a lot of people who can speak the word of God but don't
- 29:49live it. And if you're not living what
- 29:53God says, then you're doing a disservice to God because first
- 29:59of all, you're an example. Like people would look to you as
- 30:02an example. And if you're not living it,
- 30:05you're possibly preventing somebody from becoming Christian
- 30:11because they see how you're acting, but they hear what's
- 30:14coming out of your mouth, and those two things don't line up.
- 30:18So anyone who calls themselves a Christian really needs to look
- 30:23at the way that they live life and make, you know, pray to God
- 30:27to give more of the Holy Spirit, more guidance, more help, more
- 30:32strength when we are faced with things that would not make us
- 30:39look like Jesus, would not look like love when we are there,
- 30:44because we're all going to have those things in our life where
- 30:48we need help. And and so it, it takes like a
- 30:51daily request of God like help me with this because I can see
- 30:57my tendency, I can see I'm going towards this and it's not a good
- 31:00thing. I don't want to do that, but
- 31:02that's how I'm feeling. Like we don't trust our
- 31:05feelings. So our feelings about because we
- 31:09know that we're sinful by nature, that's when we have to
- 31:12call on God and God, you know, give me your way of life like
- 31:15not my plans, but your plans, not my will, but your will and,
- 31:20and God will. God is, is so loving and
- 31:24forgiving and merciful. And when we turn to him and ask
- 31:28him for that, he that just like lights him up.
- 31:31It says the angels in heaven rejoice at a Sinner who's
- 31:35repented. So God is so happy when that
- 31:40happens. He's not going to punish you for
- 31:42your past. He will lovingly welcome you
- 31:46into his Kingdom. But that sincerity has to be
- 31:50inside. I think guilt is actually a good
- 31:54thing because guilt means that we still we're not completely
- 31:57disconnected from God. When we no longer have guilt for
- 32:00sinful actions, that's when we should be concerned because we
- 32:05may not be in God's Kingdom if if that doesn't ever change.
- 32:10Guilt about something means that we know we're not doing right
- 32:15and we're struggling with it and there's still hope that God can
- 32:21restore, but he's going to let it up to us.
- 32:23He's not going to force us. I mean, he's a, he's a gentleman
- 32:26in that way that he doesn't force anybody.
- 32:29You can't force somebody to love you.
- 32:32Either they love you or they don't.
- 32:34And that's what God is looking at us.
- 32:35Either we love him or we don't love him.
- 32:38So anyway, if, if we don't know him, we get to know him through
- 32:43the word of God. So that's why I'm doing these
- 32:48podcasts. I mean, it keeps me accountable
- 32:50to read a chapter, try to read a chapter every day and talk about
- 32:54it and hopefully have insight from the Holy Spirit as my
- 32:59thoughts are guided because I don't have any of this prepared
- 33:01in advance. It's just what comes to mind
- 33:03that I speak about. So if you want to stay in the
- 33:08word, please follow. And again, I'm trying to do this
- 33:12every day and I do try to make it around 20 minutes.
- 33:15So I'm going over it again, but sometimes there's a little bit
- 33:18more discussion than other times.
- 33:20So hope you have a wonderful day and that you come back and join
- 33:25us daily whenever you can.
