SPEAKER_01: We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a new world order.
0:13
SPEAKER_01: Good evening, folks.
0:14
SPEAKER_01: You're listening to the hour of the time.
0:17
SPEAKER_01: I'm William Cooper.
0:23
SPEAKER_02: John has a long mustache.
0:25
SPEAKER_02: John has a long mustache.
0:27
SPEAKER_02: It's 12 o'clock Americans another day closer to victory.
0:30
SPEAKER_02: And for all of you out there on the behind the lines, this is your song.
0:41
SPEAKER_01: Veteran of three four wars.
0:44
SPEAKER_01: Entrepreneur and warrior poet.
0:47
SPEAKER_01: Tony Aarburn takes on the issues facing our country, civilization, and planet.
0:53
SPEAKER_01: This is the R Burn radio transmission.
1:56
SPEAKER_00: Thought I'd set the tone for today's transmission.
1:59
SPEAKER_00: And I got to talking to David Knight this morning, and it just fired off a lot of uh compartments in my brain I hadn't thought of in a while.
2:07
SPEAKER_00: So the theme of the show today, which is the Art of Burn Radio transmission, by the way, uh, is going to be uh clouded by war and the effects of that, and maybe the revolution that's already going on and we don't even notice it.
2:23
SPEAKER_00: You know, it's not war's not like it used to be.
2:26
SPEAKER_00: We'll get into that.
2:27
SPEAKER_00: It's um there's not clear sides anymore.
2:30
SPEAKER_00: And uh there's operations inside that, like a Russian doll's multi-layered.
2:35
SPEAKER_00: We'll get into some of that today.
2:36
SPEAKER_00: On the official broadcast of the apocalypse, I am Tony Arterburn, your host.
2:41
SPEAKER_00: Aeropolitics precious metals on this uh fortuitous.
2:46
SPEAKER_00: It's August 6th, 2026, and that's of course the anniversary of a lot of things, but most memorably in history in the 20th century, August 6, 1945, is when uh the United States uh dropped the first atomic weapon on Hiroshima in Japan, one of two atomic weapons that was used in the war.
3:07
SPEAKER_00: And uh there's been a lot of debate uh recently.
3:10
SPEAKER_00: I saw uh Tucker Carlson uh speak about this.
3:14
SPEAKER_00: I first heard opposition from a very intelligent man, one of the most intelligent people that I've ever read was Pat Buchanan, and he visited uh Japan in the 1980s uh while he was advisor to uh Ronald Reagan.
3:29
SPEAKER_00: And Pat was a devout Catholic, uh conservative, uh very thoughtful man, and he is still, by the way.
3:36
SPEAKER_00: I I he doesn't do interviews anymore.
3:39
SPEAKER_00: Um, so he's out of the public eye, but uh, he is still with us, thank God.
3:43
SPEAKER_00: He's one of the one of the great inspirations in my life.
3:45
SPEAKER_00: But he he tells this story in a book called Right from the Beginning, it was his autobiography in the 80s, about m meeting with a um a Japanese waitress, like a little coffee shop.
3:58
SPEAKER_00: And he just got to thinking and like looking at the Japanese people.
4:01
SPEAKER_00: He's like, we had no right to drop that bomb on that.
4:04
SPEAKER_00: And you know, and from a Christian perspective, and you look at Tucker Carlson, that is the correct view.
4:11
SPEAKER_00: You know, I I have such mixed feelings on war and the warrior uh ethos and the lifestyle and what you have to become to be able to be a protector and the the mindset you have to have, the the skill set you have to have, the the nerves you have to uh acquire, and what you're willing to do, you know, because if the other side is more ruthless than you are, you have to be more strategic.
4:38
SPEAKER_00: You know, things like that.
4:39
SPEAKER_00: You have to think long term, and you have to also think in the terms of the just war, like uh St.
4:44
SPEAKER_00: Augustine talked about, which is you know uh a reprisal versus a preemptive strike, a defense, whether uh as opposed to a war of aggression, which we're getting off into some strange territory now.
4:59
SPEAKER_00: And I I wanted to talk about war in this episode.
5:03
SPEAKER_00: There's an article up that we'll get to from Judge Napolitano uh on Louerockwell.com, I think is really important.
5:10
SPEAKER_00: But a lot of the things, it's like William Butler Yates' poem and The Second Coming, you know, things fall apart, right?
5:18
SPEAKER_00: The sinner cannot hold.
5:20
SPEAKER_00: And I often reference that poem.
5:23
SPEAKER_00: It shows up in different, like some of my favorite things that shows up in my favorite movie, which is Oliver Stone's Nixon.
5:29
SPEAKER_00: If you ever have a chance, you well, first of all, brace yourself.
5:32
SPEAKER_00: You're gonna watch like this really strange, like loud Greek tragedy.
5:36
SPEAKER_00: If you ever watch that movie, and it was Oliver Stone's, like he thought it was his masterpiece.
5:40
SPEAKER_00: It didn't very get very good reviews.
5:42
SPEAKER_00: I've probably seen it more than Oliver Stone, who made the movie, but I there's a there's a reference in there when Nixon's talking to the character uh playing uh Dick Helms, the head of the CIA, and he references that poem.
5:56
SPEAKER_00: And I I think that's kind of where we are.
5:58
SPEAKER_00: So I wanted to touch on a little bit of that today, and we'll uh just some quick headlines on the financial system, things that are going on right now that I'm noticing that you probably should pay attention to.
6:11
SPEAKER_00: I mean, if you're listening to this show and you're catching the transmission, you probably know how my mind works, which is a I not just contrarian to be this contrarian's sake, you know.
6:22
SPEAKER_00: It's I don't know.
6:23
SPEAKER_00: It's sometimes, you know, it's funny.
6:25
SPEAKER_00: I'll get to uh going on a stream of consciousness.
6:28
SPEAKER_00: I was talking to David Knight this morning, and we were just talking about presidential scandals and political corruption.
6:34
SPEAKER_00: And I just happen to, I just wanted to I I have to recapture this clip, but um just talking to him, and I mentioned Warren G.
6:41
SPEAKER_00: Harding and the teapot dome scandal.
6:44
SPEAKER_00: And I said, well, at least he had the decency to die.
6:47
SPEAKER_00: You know, just stuff like that.
6:48
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, this is why I love broadcasting.
6:50
SPEAKER_00: Every once in a while I'll come up with something funny.
6:53
SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, it pales in comparison to where we are today.
6:56
SPEAKER_00: And uh I don't even I don't even think the mechanisms of politics are the way that we grew up with them or the way that we understood, I don't think they're relevant anymore.
7:05
SPEAKER_00: I think you have to like look at it from a completely different lens.
7:08
SPEAKER_00: And this is not a political show.
7:10
SPEAKER_00: This is this is uh probably more like open source um stream of consciousness, spiritual intelligence, if you will.
7:19
SPEAKER_00: Um, take it or leave it.
7:21
SPEAKER_00: You know, it's not even it's not financial advice, it's not partisan, it's none of those things.
7:26
SPEAKER_00: Uh it's just a uh a show that I've loved to I'm on episode 555 or something like that.
7:33
SPEAKER_00: And and uh again, thanks to Ashley last week for hosting and Billy Ray Valentine stepping up.
7:39
SPEAKER_00: And it's a great job.
7:40
SPEAKER_00: What a smart show.
7:41
SPEAKER_00: Uh I was out of town and I got back and um put that show up on the feed and always uh loved to have guest hosts.
7:47
SPEAKER_00: And I promised you guys at the beginning of the year, like I I will do everything in my power not to let this feed go, you know, to a best of or not run anything for 2026.
7:58
SPEAKER_00: I think so far uh we've we've uh kept that promise.
8:02
SPEAKER_00: So let's get into something really quick.
8:04
SPEAKER_00: Just kind of set the tone.
8:07
SPEAKER_00: This morning's talk with David really got me thinking.
8:10
SPEAKER_00: And I was I always uncertain whether or not this quote was real.
8:16
SPEAKER_00: And so I went and did some research, but I want to read you a quote.
8:19
SPEAKER_00: We we opened up the show with Leon Trotsky, who we'll get to him in a second.
8:24
SPEAKER_00: But this is a quote uh from 1917 from Leon Trotsky, who was a newspaper and uh reporter in New York at the time of uh the Russian Revolution and was set free to go to Russia to uh accomplish the ends of the world's wealthiest people.
8:46
SPEAKER_00: And that's always been, oh, that's conspiracy theory.
8:48
SPEAKER_00: Well, he was loaded down just like uh Lenin was in that sealed train car over in Germany.
8:54
SPEAKER_00: He was loaded down with gold, you know, go uh create the revolution in Russia.
8:59
SPEAKER_00: And uh Woodrow Wilson saw to it because of his handlers uh that uh Leon Trotsky got safe passage through Canada and then onward to uh to Russia.
9:10
SPEAKER_00: But he had this quote, and I want to read this to you because I verified it today, and uh I always thought it was just insane that this was real.
9:20
SPEAKER_00: It seemed like it was something that would have been revisionist or like uh something uh that was summing up his philosophy.
9:27
SPEAKER_00: No, he really said this in 1917.
9:30
SPEAKER_00: We shall show what real power is by means of terror and bloodbaths.
9:36
SPEAKER_00: We shall reduce the Russian intelligentsia to a state of complete stupefication and idiocy, to an animal existence.
9:44
SPEAKER_00: The biggest bankers across the ocean will work in the closest possible contact with us.
9:51
SPEAKER_00: If we win the revolution, we shall establish the power of Zionism upon the wreckage of the revolution's funeral, and we shall become a power before which the whole world will sink to its knees.
10:07
SPEAKER_00: That was Trotsky in 1917, and this war still goes on, folks.
10:13
SPEAKER_00: We think of the the duel of the post-World War II great powers.
10:20
SPEAKER_00: You had the Soviet Empire and the American Empire, and these were two opposing ideas.
10:25
SPEAKER_00: You had, you know, supposed capitalism and free markets and communism and the Marxist revolution on the other, those were just sideshows.
10:34
SPEAKER_00: This was set into motion by the people, this Bolshevik revolution, the revolution uh that still goes on today, just morphs and takes different forms.
10:45
SPEAKER_00: That's why I quoted Trotsky, you may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.
10:51
SPEAKER_00: This entire system still goes on today.
10:53
SPEAKER_00: If you think about how we live in a world, and I've been saying this for years, but if you look at everything that's been revealed over the last six years, you look at the people that like these commentators, you know, like we talked about Mark Levin this morning and others, and Shapiro and the Fox News types, and I've just warned against this for so many years.
11:17
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, you have to understand, you trace the the intellectual lineage of those people, what they believe in, you trace it back, you know where you find the genesis, like patient zero for how they think it's Leon Trotsky.
11:37
SPEAKER_00: Think of the hijacking, think of the the the mind warfare of that.
11:43
SPEAKER_00: And you think of all the the good folks, you know, the heartland people and and Christians and people that consider themselves conservative, rock rib, you know, Reagan-esque, you know.
11:54
SPEAKER_00: And then they follow people like a Judas goat to the slaughter because you're literally following people who have fruit of a poisonous tree in their own thinking.
12:06
SPEAKER_00: You're following people who follow Leon Trotsky.
12:10
SPEAKER_00: They may not come out and say that, but you look at Bill Kristol, okay?
12:14
SPEAKER_00: He wrote the Weekly Standard, W-E-A-K-L K-L-Y, Weekly Standard, and not Weekly Standard.
12:21
SPEAKER_00: I love that.
12:22
SPEAKER_00: That's a great joke from David Knight.
12:24
SPEAKER_00: But he was one of the most influential conservative writers.
12:28
SPEAKER_00: Well, his father, Irving Kristol, was a Trotsky.
12:32
SPEAKER_00: That's that's the godfather of neoconservatism.
12:35
SPEAKER_00: It's it's really important to understand that.
12:37
SPEAKER_00: Like you want to, and it's a by the way, you can't ever please them.
12:42
SPEAKER_00: It's funny.
12:43
SPEAKER_00: Um, this new footage came out of Lindsey Graham uh bashing Trump like before he died, you know, just uh his indecisiveness is gonna get us all killed, or whatever he said.
12:56
SPEAKER_00: You know, he's really looking weak to the Iranians when we just gotta kill everybody.
13:00
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's it's one of the most, and I've you know, we've mentioned this before, ad nauseum.
13:05
SPEAKER_00: It's sometimes I can't believe he's dead.
13:07
SPEAKER_00: Um, you think like his people are just like a they're a permanence or something around because they've just always been here, just a comp like a gadfly, like completely disrupting the matrix of things and bringing us back to a war footing.
13:21
SPEAKER_00: It's never, you can't please them, you know, it's never enough.
13:24
SPEAKER_00: Uh they have to be in this Trotsky mindset, which is I think demonic.
13:30
SPEAKER_00: If you think about everything that's adding up right now, I mean look at uh let's look at some headlines and just take you through a couple of things.
13:38
SPEAKER_00: The consequences of this, and and maybe I'm right in my assessment that uh just like James Forrestall said, if if they were stupid, uh then they would every once in a while err in our favor, but it just looks like it's planned.
13:56
SPEAKER_00: Uh the stupidity cannot be without some good in it every once in a while, but we never seem to get that.
14:03
SPEAKER_00: Here's a headline I I took off of Drudge.
14:06
SPEAKER_00: It goes to the mirror.
14:09
SPEAKER_00: The U.S.
14:09
SPEAKER_00: has only 43-day emergency buffer of crude oil left and a 45-year low.
14:18
SPEAKER_00: U.S.
14:19
SPEAKER_00: crude oil supplies have fallen to their lowest level in 45 years as President Donald Trump continues to wage war against Iran with only 43 days of global supply left.
14:29
SPEAKER_00: There now exists a thinner cushion against any potential disruption should the fighting in the Middle East escalate further.
14:36
SPEAKER_00: According to Bank of America Global Research data compiled by Bloomberg, it has 43 days of crude oil left, including that of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, compared with a long-term average of about 65 days.
14:52
SPEAKER_00: The data shows the measure falling to its lowest level since the 1980s.
14:56
SPEAKER_00: The decline comes as the market fear tightening crude supplies.
15:00
SPEAKER_00: The U.S.
15:01
SPEAKER_00: continues to bomb Iran, raising concerns over shipments to the Strait of Horamuz.
15:08
SPEAKER_00: Well, I've said this for the longest time.
15:11
SPEAKER_00: Any idiot knew that if you strike Iran, and again, I knew this talking to my dad in the 90s before I even went in the military, that what would happen if you hit Iran?
15:27
SPEAKER_00: They closed the Strait of Hormouths.
15:29
SPEAKER_00: I mean, if I know that, then they know that they've got sophisticated and advanced AI and other simulations and war game scenarios and all that stuff that they've been running for years and years.
15:39
SPEAKER_00: So they know that.
15:42
SPEAKER_00: So it gets down to are we living inside of a controlled demolition of the American Empire, like my friend Charlie Robinson wrote, the book on that, him and Jeff Berwick back in 2001.
15:53
SPEAKER_00: Are they laying the charges for that?
15:55
SPEAKER_00: Are we just being led to believe this is all stupidity?
15:58
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, there's uh probably a great deal of arrogance on there, and maybe it's multi-factioned and multi-layered, but it's just the same effect, regardless.
16:08
SPEAKER_00: I mean, we're up against losing our strategic petroleum reserve.
16:14
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, if you look at history, you go back and look at the Roman Empire, and you know, my main calling in this life as far as financially is to tell people about the history of money and the monetary system and what gold is and what what silver is, what Bitcoin possibly could be.
16:32
SPEAKER_00: And I keep reading these histories, and the theme I find over and over again is you look at you could base the United States, just like lay it over the goals of what ancient Rome was, the the height of the empire.
16:43
SPEAKER_00: And they had expansion, they had territories to maintain, you got to hold the empire.
16:48
SPEAKER_00: You have this demographic shrinking of the native Romans internally.
16:54
SPEAKER_00: So they have a shrinking population, a booming population in the empire, and those surrounding territories that are periphery that they control.
17:02
SPEAKER_00: You have a booming native population uh outside of Rome.
17:06
SPEAKER_00: And then you have to maintain that, and so you have to supply these soldiers with gold.
17:10
SPEAKER_00: They would Rome would uh collect all the gold that it could from places that it would raid, and it would pay its own soldiers, or it would pay uh mercenaries and outside soldiers not to fight or to fight, or whatever that was.
17:23
SPEAKER_00: And all that gold, it didn't stay in Rome, it flowed eastward, went to places like India, it went to places like Persia, which is Iran.
17:32
SPEAKER_00: And it's interesting, that's what that was the catalyst to what eventually brought Rome down.
17:38
SPEAKER_00: I mean, they they had times where they paid Roman soldiers in salt, you know, that's that was a big commodity through the ancient world and still is a uh technically a commodity today.
17:49
SPEAKER_00: It's where you get the term salary from paying someone in salt.
17:53
SPEAKER_00: But that's where they had their internal collapse was that gold didn't flow back in.
17:59
SPEAKER_00: And because they just consumed and they didn't produce, that's what makes a great nation.
18:04
SPEAKER_00: A great nation is about what we used to be.
18:07
SPEAKER_00: We were the world's greatest creditor, and we had the 50, like even after the World War II, we were 5% of the world's population and had 50% of the world's wealth.
18:20
SPEAKER_00: Then we opened up our markets, we did things the founding fathers would have never done.
18:24
SPEAKER_00: You know, uh it wasn't even about laissez-faire or free markets, it was strategic, and we opened up with these free trade agreements and other things that just repositioned us to consumption.
18:35
SPEAKER_00: And then we became not the world's greatest creditor, we became the world's greatest debtor.
18:40
SPEAKER_00: And we lived off that.
18:42
SPEAKER_00: And you can do that for a while.
18:44
SPEAKER_00: Uh and it looks healthy for a little while.
18:47
SPEAKER_00: Then you start to see things like the rust belt, and then you see, well, you know, there has to be this is physics, right?
18:54
SPEAKER_00: So, like you if you have uh a certain amount of energy going out, it goes somewhere.
18:58
SPEAKER_00: It doesn't just like it's not it's not in a vacuum.
19:02
SPEAKER_00: Someone benefits, and over the last 50 years, you know, since David mentioned the oil embargo of 73, well, that was the last year that the United States ran a trade surplus.
19:15
SPEAKER_00: It's the last time that you know net positive on the balance sheet, uh, we produced more than we consumed.
19:22
SPEAKER_00: So 53 years ago.
19:25
SPEAKER_00: And now you're paying the price for that.
19:28
SPEAKER_00: So all of this is showing up in our our body politic and our headlines.
19:36
SPEAKER_00: Here's another one.
19:37
SPEAKER_00: And the consequences of that, and I don't know how much of this is is that's funny, I could play on I don't know how much of this is real.
19:44
SPEAKER_00: It is a real uh let's put this up.
19:47
SPEAKER_00: I want to this is zero hedge.
19:51
SPEAKER_00: And they're denying this, but I 100% believe this happened.
19:54
SPEAKER_00: Camp David Clash.
19:56
SPEAKER_00: Trump hammered Heg Seth for misleading him on arms supply.
20:02
SPEAKER_00: This is the Washington Post reports.
20:06
SPEAKER_00: That's funny.
20:06
SPEAKER_00: I turned my phone to silent, it still rings.
20:09
SPEAKER_00: Falling reports that the U.S.
20:11
SPEAKER_00: forces have used up virtually all of their precision long-range missiles in futile attempts to first trigger an Iranian regime change and then to compel Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, now comes reporting that an angry President Trump confronted Defense Secretary Pete Heggseth in recent days, accusing the Pentagon of misleading him on critical munition shortages that leave Trump increasingly powerless in the five-month-old fiasco of a war.
20:41
SPEAKER_00: According to sources cited by the Washington Post, who spoke on condition of anonymity, due to concern about retaliation, Trump's ire erupted alongside a cabinet meeting held Friday at Camp David.
20:55
SPEAKER_00: Trump expressed consternation that he'd been assured that the weapon shortage has been fixed when that is apparently far from true.
21:06
SPEAKER_00: According to multiple officials who, reading between the lines, clearly seemed to have had it with Fox News talking head suddenly turned defense secretary, well, Secretary of War, thank you.
21:47
SPEAKER_00: That's one way of leadership there, Pete.
21:50
SPEAKER_00: You know the Secretary of War.
21:54
SPEAKER_00: You go have the buck stops with you with all things.
21:57
SPEAKER_00: You cannot, I don't know.
21:59
SPEAKER_00: This is.
22:00
SPEAKER_00: If it wasn't so tragic, it would be a comedy, but it is a tragedy, folks.
22:07
SPEAKER_00: The officials characterize Trump as increasingly exasperated by Hegeth, who's described as one of the most enthusiastic, enthusiastic supporters of launching a war on Iran.
22:16
SPEAKER_00: Well, there's your first red flag.
22:19
SPEAKER_00: This reminds me a lot, you know, I mentioned the fog of war this morning, you know, that had that great documentary at the early 2000s.
22:28
SPEAKER_00: I think my dad turned me on to that.
22:30
SPEAKER_00: If you haven't watched it, just sit down and watch it sometime.
22:33
SPEAKER_00: It's a they got MacNamera, who was uh, I think he was CEO of Ford Motor Company.
22:39
SPEAKER_00: He'd been uh statistician in World War II, working under Curtis LeMay, like all the bombing raids they would do over Tokyo and the firebombing of Tokyo.
22:50
SPEAKER_00: He thought it was basically a mathematical equation.
22:53
SPEAKER_00: You know, everything was um mathematics.
22:55
SPEAKER_00: And so you know, this was the Vietnam War was run by that kind of CEO thinking.
23:02
SPEAKER_00: You know, they weren't thinking in terms of history.
23:05
SPEAKER_00: It shows up in the film.
23:08
SPEAKER_00: Like you didn't, you know, he meets with the leaders, I don't know, in Cuba, but he he meets with uh you know some of the his counterparts later in life in Vietnam, and they're like, Don't you understand?
23:20
SPEAKER_00: We've been, you thought the domino theory was real, but uh we were fighting the Chinese for a thousand years.
23:26
SPEAKER_00: You think we're gonna let them rule us?
23:27
SPEAKER_00: You know, you think we're gonna become a conglomerate just because of our politics?
23:31
SPEAKER_00: It's you know, the lack of historical sense and the lack of humility uh in the face of like real-world things is uh it's really striking today, isn't it?
23:43
SPEAKER_00: I mean, think about the last resort somehow becoming the first resort.
23:49
SPEAKER_00: And you always pay a price for this.
23:51
SPEAKER_00: Did they not see that?
23:53
SPEAKER_00: Um again, that's what argues to me.
23:55
SPEAKER_00: Like, are you just filling a role?
23:57
SPEAKER_00: Like, is this something that uh you're supposed to do to hasten that Trotskyite revolution that uh he mentioned in 1917?
24:05
SPEAKER_00: Is that what we're doing?
24:07
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he uh Pete uh war Pete is saying he persuaded Trump that victory would come quickly and easily.
24:15
SPEAKER_00: The war that the administration once projected to the last three or four weeks is now in the sixth month.
24:21
SPEAKER_00: Well, that's so funny.
24:23
SPEAKER_00: It's always the case, isn't it?
24:24
SPEAKER_00: Like you go back and look at history, and you always the boys will be home by Christmas.
24:28
SPEAKER_00: You know, you have the guns of August and 1914, and everything is going to be done by Christmas, and four years later, it's a literal wasteland, and humanity is up-ended in the West.
24:41
SPEAKER_00: It's completely decimated and uh ravaged, and uh cultures have been changed, and uh new horrible weapons have been unleashed.
24:50
SPEAKER_00: Oh, they'll all be home by Christmas.
24:52
SPEAKER_00: It's a two-week war.
24:53
SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, or the people showing up during the Civil War, because it'd been a long time really since we'd had you know internal war since the American Revolution, really.
25:03
SPEAKER_00: It wasn't we'd had the War of 1812, but it was limited engagement for the most part.
25:08
SPEAKER_00: And uh, but that was, you know, you go to the 1860s and people would show up for these picnics to watch the battle, you know.
25:16
SPEAKER_00: These proper, proper gentlemen and their ladies and their little uh wagons would roll up, and then all of a sudden, you know, a cannonball would cut through and you know, take out people's legs and there are people screaming.
25:26
SPEAKER_00: Oh, this isn't so this isn't so fun.
25:29
SPEAKER_00: This isn't very entertaining.
25:31
SPEAKER_00: I might have trauma now.
25:32
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you think so?
25:33
SPEAKER_00: War is like that.
25:34
SPEAKER_00: It's it's again, we have the last resort being picked first by these people, which kind of shows you the spirit in which they're animated.
25:44
SPEAKER_00: Iran has used both its sophisticated missile technology and its inexpensive but huge arsenal of drones to wreak havoc on U.S.
25:52
SPEAKER_00: and Allied forces around the Gulf.
25:55
SPEAKER_00: Hammered by a shock and awe campaign, peppered with multiple incidents involving mass casualties among innocents, including scores of elementary schoolgirls, the Iranian people have rallied around the Islamic regime for all its faults.
26:10
SPEAKER_00: And you didn't see that coming either.
26:12
SPEAKER_00: You know, it's so we repeat these mistakes, and it is something I think the philosopher Hegel and then saying something that Pat Buchanan said, the only lessons we learn from history is that we do not learn from history.
26:29
SPEAKER_00: You ignore it at your own peril.
26:31
SPEAKER_00: Like even the Iraq war, let's see, was I greeted as a liberator?
26:37
SPEAKER_00: Uh no.
26:38
SPEAKER_00: And if if if well I was greeted um with you know grenades, uh sniper fire, uh, you know, IEDs, um, random mortars killing people, going into uh medical tents or in the chow hall line, just standing there to get some lunch, you know.
26:56
SPEAKER_00: I guess that was my greeting as a liberator uh in Iraq.
27:00
SPEAKER_00: And they thought this is gonna create like this this uh cascading series of events.
27:05
SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's how delusional these neocons are.
27:10
SPEAKER_00: And Pete is uh no exception, even though he went on Tucker and said he's a recovering neocon, whatever the hell that means.
27:18
SPEAKER_00: At least 18 U.S.
27:19
SPEAKER_00: service members lay dead.
27:21
SPEAKER_00: It's probably more than that.
27:22
SPEAKER_00: I mean, you've got to think of all the forces in periphery, too, and people that serve under the flag.
27:28
SPEAKER_00: It's gotta be more than that, and God forbid it increases.
27:31
SPEAKER_00: It's an awful number on both sides.
27:35
SPEAKER_00: Several hundred have been wounded, and some estimates of the war costs to date exceed$100 billion.
27:45
SPEAKER_00: The White House and Pentagon denied the account given by the Washington Post as sources.
27:50
SPEAKER_00: Well, this is one time I I think this one this absolutely happened.
27:56
SPEAKER_00: They said this is 100% fake news.
27:58
SPEAKER_00: Literally, never happened.
28:00
SPEAKER_00: And President Trump has the most utmost confidence in Secretary Hegseth.
28:03
SPEAKER_00: White House press secretary uh Caroline Levitt told the Post.
28:08
SPEAKER_00: Speaking more broadly, Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell said claims about depleted stockpiles, internal disagreements, and the secretary's position on Iran are fictional.
28:20
SPEAKER_00: As for Heggseth's job security, Parnell said, he isn't going anywhere.
28:28
SPEAKER_00: It might be at this point, it might be like the Hotel California.
28:32
SPEAKER_00: You can check in, but you can never leave, Pete.
28:36
SPEAKER_00: Over the weekend, Trump's backtracking on his threat to launch the biggest attack since World War II was widely attributed to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Solomon, urging Trump to refrain.
28:48
SPEAKER_00: During a large attack would accomplish little more than triggering massive and devastating retaliation against the kingdom and other Gulf states.
28:57
SPEAKER_00: Trump's calculus, I don't think there was any calculus here, also likely reflected Pentagon warnings about its shrinking capacity to attack.
29:07
SPEAKER_00: On Saturday, the Post reported that the commander of U.S.
29:10
SPEAKER_00: European command told superiors in writing that his forces were stretched thin and that he might be put in a position where he'd have to choose between defending his homeland and the state of Israel.
29:22
SPEAKER_00: Hmm.
29:24
SPEAKER_00: Well, that's where we are, folks.
29:26
SPEAKER_00: Uh, you know, for all for all the military-industrial complex, for all of the the fact that we spend now uh and we have I think this is goes back 20 plus years or maybe more, but we spend more on defense than our next, like in line of our next seven rivals combined a year.
29:50
SPEAKER_00: Because we have to defend this empire.
29:53
SPEAKER_00: And you have to remember, you know, even me uh 12, 13 years ago was saying, hey, we signed treaties uh during the Cold War, uh, these men that are no longer alive, uh putting uh children yet unborn on the line to defend places that most Americans can't find on a map.
30:13
SPEAKER_00: It's like irrelevant.
30:15
SPEAKER_00: But we still hold down this empire.
30:19
SPEAKER_00: What is it like uh we have uh 700 and some odd bases in 132 countries, something like that.
30:29
SPEAKER_00: Something that's a metric that I got from Ron Paul years and years ago.
30:33
SPEAKER_00: But it is it it really is.
30:36
SPEAKER_00: Uh we are in a massive fourth turning, uh, and I think that's going pretty much cyclical as the book predicted back, Neil Strauss and Howe back in 1995, where you have the the institutions we long thought were permanent are being reimagined like they're like they reimagined the Alamo.
30:57
SPEAKER_00: Like it's being put through uh this uh morphing machine, if you will.
31:04
SPEAKER_00: And we are seeing uh uh shortages, whether it's the strategic petroleum reserve, our own stockpiles, weapons systems across the board, and spending all this money, this is what corruption does.
31:19
SPEAKER_00: This is the end game for grift, you know, for people that put profit ahead of patriotism, that put their own uh well-being ahead of the well-being of the country.
31:32
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it used to be service held some sort of it was lofty, you know, there was sacrifice that, and not all the time, but that's that was the at least the premise.
31:44
SPEAKER_00: Like you were, you know, putting country first.
31:46
SPEAKER_00: I mean, even McCain ran on that in 2008.
31:49
SPEAKER_00: That was a great slogan, country first.
31:50
SPEAKER_00: You know, what does that mean anymore?
31:52
SPEAKER_00: Uh, you have people that have put us in this trajectory for all sorts of unknowns, and you can tell from a spiritual component, you can tell when you go around and talk to people in the real world.
32:05
SPEAKER_00: Uh, there's something and you interact with folks, you can just tell.
32:09
SPEAKER_00: Like if you're sensitive to this to this stuff like I am, like people know there's something wrong, and they just can't quite articulate it.
32:16
SPEAKER_00: And I'm seeing because also, like I'm talking about this, but uh the the main headlines, right?
32:24
SPEAKER_00: The things that are going on outside of like this massive blunder is the construction of the new financial world order, which isn't getting a lot of play.
32:38
SPEAKER_00: You know, uh here's some metrics for you.
32:42
SPEAKER_00: The Chinese uh reported last month that they had bought about 15 tons net of gold, right?
32:50
SPEAKER_00: Which seems like in it, that's a big order, but it's uh you know, it's sizable, nothing crazy.
32:56
SPEAKER_00: I think uh central banks ordered even with the sell-off, there was like net 17 tons of of gold purchased, even with the big sell-off after the uh Operation Epstein Fury exploded.
33:09
SPEAKER_00: Um, but they brought in supposedly 15 tons, but if you read the customs report of the gold that crossed the border, it was 178.
33:18
SPEAKER_00: You see, I'm paying attention to stuff like that.
33:21
SPEAKER_00: That's the stuff you should pay attention to as well, because those are things that aren't getting big headlines.
33:26
SPEAKER_00: It's not getting big play.
33:28
SPEAKER_00: Or the fact that the Hong Kong gold exchange, and I'm not just talking about an exchange like the Shanghai Exchange or the London Exchange.
33:37
SPEAKER_00: This is storage.
33:39
SPEAKER_00: They're building massive storage facilities in Hong Kong.
33:44
SPEAKER_00: Remember the Roman Empire.
33:46
SPEAKER_00: Remember how the gold flowed eastward, it flowed outward, it flowed to Persia, it flowed to India, it also flowed to China, even in those days.
33:55
SPEAKER_00: It flowed away.
33:56
SPEAKER_00: And that's where the wealth is.
33:57
SPEAKER_00: You know, remember the golden rule.
33:59
SPEAKER_00: He who has the gold makes the rules.
34:01
SPEAKER_00: At least that's how it in the material world in which we live, you know, this is all God's creation anyway.
34:07
SPEAKER_00: I mean, you can get off into the weeds about oh, what if that makes it right?
34:11
SPEAKER_00: But that is in our world, the way that it exists, the golden rule makes a lot of sense.
34:16
SPEAKER_00: And you can see the new uh the bones of that new system are being constructed, they're being built.
34:25
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, it's funny, I was thinking of an I want to bring this quote up too.
34:30
SPEAKER_00: This is something I, you know, I read this years ago and I had to do a little bit of searching for it.
34:35
SPEAKER_00: It was one of Buchanan's books, and this is something that I think that even me, I'm guilty of this because I can only take in so much information, but um, I do think like something else is happening.
34:47
SPEAKER_00: And this is a quote um by Garrett Garrett, and this was uh he was a writer back in back in the 30s, and he says, those who those who think we st are still holding the pass against a revolution that may be coming up the road, but they are gazing in the wrong direction.
35:09
SPEAKER_00: The revolution is behind them.
35:11
SPEAKER_00: It went by in the night of depression, singing songs to freedom.
35:17
SPEAKER_00: It went by in the night.
35:18
SPEAKER_00: You're looking up the road, but the revolution already passed you by.
35:22
SPEAKER_00: That seems to be where our country is at this moment.
35:26
SPEAKER_00: We have our focus on uh foreign hobgoblins and uh you know whatever narrative is constructed by the powers that be.
35:36
SPEAKER_00: But the rest of the world and those powers are already making plans, looking at something completely different.
35:42
SPEAKER_00: And when you look at the blunders, whether on purpose or stupid or staged or whatever it is, they have real consequences.
35:50
SPEAKER_00: We just haven't felt those yet.
35:52
SPEAKER_00: It's like Nietzsche said, you know, you you've uh you've seen the lightning, but you haven't felt the thunder.
35:59
SPEAKER_00: I feel like we're on the precipice of exactly that.
36:03
SPEAKER_00: All right, if you have questions for me, if you want to engage in the show, I'll check the comments really quick.
36:09
SPEAKER_00: Um and uh I'll try to do spot prices today before we close out.
36:13
SPEAKER_00: But I want to get to this article from Judge Napolitano.
36:18
SPEAKER_00: As I said, the the theme is a little bit of war today.
36:22
SPEAKER_00: I try to steer clear from always uh staying on point about that, but it just bothers me.
36:28
SPEAKER_00: Uh let's see.
36:30
SPEAKER_00: Um let's go back to the comments.
36:32
SPEAKER_00: If you haven't, again, if you have anything, and I'll go to Rumble too.
36:36
SPEAKER_00: If you've got anything you want to share with me or have questions, be sure and put it in the comments, and I'll do my best to get to it.
36:43
SPEAKER_00: Beans is producing, by the way.
36:44
SPEAKER_00: I've got Beans the Brave in Studio.
36:47
SPEAKER_00: Uh Yeka's running the front uh office here, and we're uh we're doing limited stuff here at in Denison.
36:53
SPEAKER_00: I'm um getting some personnel issues switched up.
36:58
SPEAKER_00: So everybody, I appreciate everybody being patient.
37:00
SPEAKER_00: If you're a customer, uh I'm having to travel to uh Branson here shortly and all that stuff that you know I got to transport.
37:08
SPEAKER_00: I'm always on the road.
37:09
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I forget what year it is.
37:11
SPEAKER_00: Uh Kenny Powers for Life says, uh, good afternoon, Tony.
37:15
SPEAKER_00: Uh have to head out to run errands.
37:17
SPEAKER_00: We'll catch the show on a replay.
37:18
SPEAKER_00: Well, when you catch it on a replay, brother, appreciate you.
37:21
SPEAKER_00: Thanks for tuning in.
37:22
SPEAKER_00: Nicholas Wiley's in the chat.
37:24
SPEAKER_00: Uh let's see.
37:27
SPEAKER_00: Umbrk Stopper 111 said, I can't imagine having a family picnic on a hillside overlooking a battlefield.
37:37
SPEAKER_00: They did that.
37:37
SPEAKER_00: You can go look this up.
37:38
SPEAKER_00: And that's the it just kind of smacks of the arrogance of people not understanding reality.
37:45
SPEAKER_00: I think we do that a lot in this country.
37:47
SPEAKER_00: You can get like, oh wow, that's really happening until you this until you see it up close.
37:52
SPEAKER_00: Like you'll never you'd never forgive one of these uh dead-eyed uh automatons for Satan for throwing us into an unconstitutional war if you ever went and did one.
38:02
SPEAKER_00: If you ever went and saw uh the faces of kids and and families and uh you know just innocent people and like in collateral damage and all that, you just you would go, What what the hell was this for?
38:16
SPEAKER_00: Let's see.
38:18
SPEAKER_00: Uh I'm trying to I'm going through the the uh comments and a lot of people talk amongst themselves, which is great.
38:27
SPEAKER_00: You're always welcome to uh I think change review.
38:31
SPEAKER_00: Ashley says, Great job, Beans.
38:33
SPEAKER_00: She's doing a good job.
38:34
SPEAKER_00: Um, she keeps me safe, and she keeps the vibe good, and uh, you know, the integral part of the transmission always means the brave.
38:44
SPEAKER_00: Let me check out uh Rumble really quick.
38:47
SPEAKER_00: By the way, I didn't mention anything.
38:50
SPEAKER_00: Uh you know, you guys can leave a review on either the the Paratrouther podcast link or uh Artiburn Radio on anywhere those podcasts were for Apple.
39:00
SPEAKER_00: If you'll leave me a five-star review, you can say anything.
39:03
SPEAKER_00: I'll read it on there.
39:04
SPEAKER_00: I haven't seen any new reviews, guys.
39:06
SPEAKER_00: But if you have something to say, uh I will read it if you give me a five-star review, which you know, even if even if it's bad.
39:13
SPEAKER_00: Uh I've same same rule for America Unplugged.
39:17
SPEAKER_00: Let's see.
39:18
SPEAKER_00: Um Rusty Fan Black said, what happened to the last Saturday's America Unplugged?
39:24
SPEAKER_00: Look for a few times on YouTube and Rumble.
39:27
SPEAKER_00: Well, the great Don Jeffries and I got really off into the weeds on COVID-1984 and some other things, and I decided to make it a podcast RSS feed uh exclusive.
39:41
SPEAKER_00: So if you'll go to Apple Podcasts or anywhere podcasts are found, you can find that episode unedited uh with uh the legendary Don Jeffries and myself, who, by the way, one of the best shows because Don just talked the most time.
39:56
SPEAKER_00: You know, I think that's always the best show.
39:58
SPEAKER_00: I always want to know what Don thinks.
40:00
SPEAKER_00: Uh let's see.
40:05
SPEAKER_00: Let's see.
40:05
SPEAKER_00: I, you know, I I'm not always the best at getting to the uh the comments.
40:13
SPEAKER_00: This is a good one.
40:14
SPEAKER_00: Uh from Nostra Dummas Domus.
40:18
SPEAKER_00: Revolution is always one generation away.
40:20
SPEAKER_00: Old men start wars, old men don't fight wars, 17 and 18-year-olds fight, not the 30-somethings.
40:26
SPEAKER_00: Yep, that's true.
40:28
SPEAKER_00: And you know, it always seemed to me, and maybe I'm taking this in a much more esoteric position, it seems to me like a ritual, right?
40:38
SPEAKER_00: Um like a culling.
40:40
SPEAKER_00: It's just something demonic about it.
40:42
SPEAKER_00: And one of the great, uh, what was it, one of the most like decorated uh soul, I I forgive me history for not knowing this like recall right off the top of my head, but it was one of the most highly decorated World War I veterans, and it lived to be a ripe old age.
40:57
SPEAKER_00: But he somebody asked him about it, uh, his service, and he said, uh, war is organized murder and nothing else.
41:04
SPEAKER_00: And again, I'm not a pacifist.
41:07
SPEAKER_00: I I do believe in uh having uh violence as a skill.
41:12
SPEAKER_00: You have if you're gonna live on this planet, you better prepare for war.
41:16
SPEAKER_00: But it's something that George Washington talked about, you know, a great warrior.
41:21
SPEAKER_00: And he said, you know, if you if you to secure peace, you prepare for war.
41:26
SPEAKER_00: And then you look at some of the great writers like A.G.P.
41:29
SPEAKER_00: Taylor, who wrote this like the mark of a great nation is to be able to fight a great war, and how you remain a great nation is by not fighting one.
41:36
SPEAKER_00: And we've ignored all of that wisdom.
41:40
SPEAKER_00: All right, let's uh it's kind of slim pickens today on other stories that were relevant.
41:46
SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, you guys know my views on precious metals and other things.
41:50
SPEAKER_00: Market watch stuff was uh was even really interesting.
41:53
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's kind of like uh the nothing that happens before um that quote from Leon Trotsky.
42:01
SPEAKER_00: Maybe I just do I live in quotes too much, folks.
42:03
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I it's one of my my brain works in quotations.
42:08
SPEAKER_00: Like I think veterans too, they we speak in movie quotes.
42:12
SPEAKER_00: If you know, if you know a combat veteran, everything's a movie quote or a show quote or something like that.
42:18
SPEAKER_00: But it's it's it's funny, uh, you know, uh I look to I look to quotes for for bits of wisdom, right?
42:27
SPEAKER_00: And um I will uh I'll get back to that in a second.
42:31
SPEAKER_00: Let me let me jump let me jump I'm gonna get on too many quotes and then we'll uh we won't get to our articles.
42:38
SPEAKER_00: Let me jump into the article.
42:39
SPEAKER_00: Uh this is uh Judge Nepalitano, who I like uh a lot.
42:44
SPEAKER_00: I think he's a very thoughtful human being.
42:47
SPEAKER_00: Let's put this on the screen.
42:51
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the normalcy of American wars.
42:56
SPEAKER_00: The war in Iran is unlawful and unconstitutional, but in a post-World War II America, it is normal.
43:03
SPEAKER_00: And here's the backstory.
43:05
SPEAKER_00: When President Donald Trump decided to begin bombing Iran last June, he did not state a coherent or lawful reason for doing so.
43:13
SPEAKER_00: His director of national intelligence in his own CIA had publicly told him that Iran did not possess a nuclear weapon and had ceased building one in 2005.
43:23
SPEAKER_00: His Secretary of State told him that Iran and Israel had threatened each other, but he could not articulate how Iran immediately threatened the United States.
43:32
SPEAKER_00: Yet since Israel planned to attack Iran, he wanted the U.S.
43:37
SPEAKER_00: to help Israel do so.
43:39
SPEAKER_00: This was not a lawful request, as the U.S.
43:42
SPEAKER_00: has no treaty with Israel, and under treaties, which the U.S.
43:46
SPEAKER_00: is a party, the legal basis for all offensive wars can only be treaty compliance or prevention of an imminent attack.
43:55
SPEAKER_00: When Trump addressed the nation, his helter skelter rationale argued.
44:00
SPEAKER_00: For replacing Iran's government, destroying its civilian use uh enriched uranium, destroying its ability to build a bomb, but it wasn't building that it wasn't building and neutralizing its offensive and defensive weaponry.
44:13
SPEAKER_00: None of these goals was lawful, nor was attacking a Tehran girls' school.
44:18
SPEAKER_00: There was no mention of an imminent attack on the U.S.
44:21
SPEAKER_00: or any economic effect of war on the vital internal oil superhighway, the Strait of Hormuz.
44:29
SPEAKER_00: No one in Trump's inner circle registered disagreement except his vice president and his director of counterterrorism.
44:37
SPEAKER_00: They told him there was no legal or constitutional basis for his war.
44:42
SPEAKER_00: They were correct.
44:43
SPEAKER_00: But Trump had history on his side.
44:48
SPEAKER_00: For much of American history, presidents have steadily accumulated the power to wage war, while Congress has gradually surrendered the constitutional authority that the framers explicitly entrusted to it.
45:01
SPEAKER_00: This transformation has weakened constitutional checks and balances, expanded executive power beyond its constitutional limits, claimed millions of lives, cost trillions of dollars, and has repeatedly drawn the United States into conflicts that had little or nothing to do with defending America.
45:22
SPEAKER_00: Well, this is true.
45:23
SPEAKER_00: You know, there was the last declared war was World War II.
45:27
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, if you're listening to the show, you probably already really know all of that, and there's nothing new here.
45:33
SPEAKER_00: But, you know, it was Harry Truman that was asked in a press conference what the Korean War was.
45:38
SPEAKER_00: And one of the reporters uh asked him, and I don't know if this was a plant or something, but is this a police action?
45:45
SPEAKER_00: So that's what it is.
45:46
SPEAKER_00: It's a police action.
45:47
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, there was the national security state was born in 1947, strangely enough, you know, on the heels of Roswell, uh, which I always find, I think is a connective issue, whether you're talking about the Majestic 12 or whether or not that really was true.
46:05
SPEAKER_00: I think it was.
46:06
SPEAKER_00: I think there's some validity to that, like the the 12 people that were assembled to um control the narrative on what extraterrestrials were, what these crafts were, or what flying saucers were, or whatever.
46:18
SPEAKER_00: But 1947 was the birth of the national security state.
46:24
SPEAKER_00: And that's where you get the CIA, you get the Air Force, you get the NSA, uh, all of these other uh breakaway things that happened that were outside of the original intended purpose of United States defense.
46:40
SPEAKER_00: So there's a lot of things that happened in post-1947.
46:43
SPEAKER_00: You get the Korean War, then you get Vietnam and it's the Gulf of Tonkin, and uh there's all sorts of high strangeness around that.
46:52
SPEAKER_00: But Lyndon Johnson gets this uh basically a War Powers Act or something.
46:56
SPEAKER_00: It's not a declared war, but it's open-ended, so they set precedence for this.
47:02
SPEAKER_00: And it's funny, you know, it both uh parties, the duopoly, they agree on this.
47:08
SPEAKER_00: They agree on this executive power for wars forever and without congressional oversight, without congressional say.
47:15
SPEAKER_00: So this the the framers of the Constitution were were geniuses.
47:19
SPEAKER_00: They set this up.
47:20
SPEAKER_00: Only Congress can declare war because supposedly it's it's supposed to have the uh power of the purse, you know.
47:27
SPEAKER_00: But uh the Congress is a farce now.
47:30
SPEAKER_00: It's it's a fun house mirror version of itself.
47:32
SPEAKER_00: It's a caricature, it's not what it was intended to be.
47:36
SPEAKER_00: I mean I wouldn't want to be in Congress.
47:39
SPEAKER_00: I mean, uh Thomas Massey, what a blessing.
47:41
SPEAKER_00: You get to be a martyr.
47:42
SPEAKER_00: You get to be, you had the most money ever spent against anyone to oust you when you're doing a good job.
47:48
SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's that's Congress today, and there's no incentive uh by anyone to actually have a soul.
47:55
SPEAKER_00: So it's like it's like a I think it's a moot point.
47:57
SPEAKER_00: They they've abdicated both houses, you know, like not only not only the Senate, but the the Congress itself, and then even the executive branch has abdicated so much of its power even to the judicial, which was supposed to be the weakest of all the branches.
48:13
SPEAKER_00: We are so upside down here.
48:15
SPEAKER_00: Like this is not this is in no way, shape, or form uh does it resemble the intent of where we were supposed to be?
48:24
SPEAKER_00: You guys get all that, and you know, I'm just at this point, I'm reading these articles, I'm just embarrassed.
48:30
SPEAKER_00: Like you you think back, we launched that strike on Iran on June 22nd, 2025, which is again, like you does somebody just at least do a Google search, like, hey, is there any like significance to this date?
48:45
SPEAKER_00: Uh that was the date, uh June 22nd, 1941, was the uh launch of Operation Barbarossa, which was the the invasion by the Third Reich into the Soviet Union.
48:56
SPEAKER_00: It's like you know, are we which was a blunder, by the way.
49:00
SPEAKER_00: Like these are like bad omens.
49:03
SPEAKER_00: And I don't know.
49:04
SPEAKER_00: I I have uh this was something that was on my mind, and I just keep my there was something strange about the the end of 24, and it was December 4th.
49:13
SPEAKER_00: I've told the story a million times, but I was on going on Tenfoil Hap, and they asked me that.
49:19
SPEAKER_00: You know, they asked me what I thought the second Trump administration was going to be about.
49:23
SPEAKER_00: And I just like for whatever reason, I just thought I was, I was, you know, this was live, and I said, I think it's gonna be about Iran, like the whole thing.
49:32
SPEAKER_00: And this is summing up like this is like Lyndon Johnson with with Vietnam.
49:36
SPEAKER_00: And look, I hope I'm wrong, but the uh the consequences are these are reverberating and go on for a long time, unfortunately.
49:43
SPEAKER_00: Like we kicked the horn in its nest, and we didn't have to strategically, uh, a real blunder.
49:50
SPEAKER_00: Let's see, I'm gonna finish this article.
49:54
SPEAKER_00: No one in Trump's inner circle registered disagreement except his vice president.
49:58
SPEAKER_00: Oh, we read that already, sorry.
50:00
SPEAKER_00: Uh for much of American history, presidents have steadily accumulated the power to wage war while Congress has gradually surrendered it.
50:09
SPEAKER_00: The Constitution is remarkably clear on the question of war.
50:13
SPEAKER_00: Article I grants Congress, not the president, the power to declare war.
50:17
SPEAKER_00: The president, under Article II, wages war, but only after Congress has authorized it.
50:23
SPEAKER_00: James Madison argued the executive branch is the branch most interested in war and most prone to it, which is precisely why the Constitution deliberately divided the war power.
50:35
SPEAKER_00: The framers believe that no single individual should possess the authority to plunge the nation into armed conflict, yet over the past eight decades, presidents from both parties have steadily ignored these constitutional limits.
50:49
SPEAKER_00: President Harry Truman committed hundreds of thousands of American troops to combat in Korea without obtaining a declaration of war from Congress because he said U.S.
50:57
SPEAKER_00: troops were constituting a police action.
51:01
SPEAKER_00: The pattern only intensified during the Vietnam War, although Congress passed the Gulf of Tonkin resolution.
51:09
SPEAKER_00: It was based on a fraud and effectively delegated its congressional authority responsibility to the president.
51:16
SPEAKER_00: The result was years of escalating conflict that ultimately claimed the lives of more than 58,000 Americans and millions of Vietnamese while achieving none of its stated objectives.
51:29
SPEAKER_00: The attacks on September 11, 2001 fundamentally accelerated this trend.
51:35
SPEAKER_00: Congress passed the authorization for use of military force and the Patriot Act.
51:41
SPEAKER_00: By the way, the Patriot Act also helped along by uh then Senator Joe Biden.
51:49
SPEAKER_00: Uh, they tried to get the same thing after Oklahoma City.
51:53
SPEAKER_00: It just didn't have the heft politically to get it over the finish line.
51:58
SPEAKER_00: And boy, did they just they had it already built, ready to go, conveniently so, like accidentally on purpose, as uh some of my brothers in arms would say in the military.
52:11
SPEAKER_00: Accidentally on purpose.
52:12
SPEAKER_00: They had it ready to go uh after September 11, 2001.
52:18
SPEAKER_00: Uh, granting the president broad authority to pursue those responsible for the attacks, and the latter substantially impairing rights protected by the Fourth Amendment.
52:28
SPEAKER_00: What was presented as a targeted war authorization evolved into legal justifications for military operations across multiple countries against groups that did not even exist in 2001.
52:43
SPEAKER_00: Well, my favorite uh part of all of this was the uh what's the culmination of all of these lies.
52:52
SPEAKER_00: And I don't know, I I must have been one of the only people on planet Earth at the time uh saying this, but I was watching the debates in 2016, and Hillary Clinton was like vehemently arguing for the authorization to uh shoot down Russian aircraft that were bombing al-Qaeda in Syria because we needed to, for what whatever god-awful stupid reason, or on the behalf of the uh the Israeli government or whatever, to keep uh chaos in the region, we were gonna risk World War III to protect Al-Qaeda.
53:33
SPEAKER_00: That's the that was the culmination of the global war on terror.
53:39
SPEAKER_00: The war in Afghanistan lasted two decades before ending with the return of the Taliban to power.
53:44
SPEAKER_00: Iraq was invaded based on fabricated or erroneous intelligence assessments regarding weapons of mass destruction.
53:51
SPEAKER_00: The proper role of government, according to Thomas Jefferson, its only role, is to protect life, liberty, and property, not to remake foreign societies through military force.
54:04
SPEAKER_00: Beans is uh actively at the door.
54:08
SPEAKER_00: Come get bean bean.
54:10
SPEAKER_00: He's gonna bark.
54:12
SPEAKER_00: Beans is protecting the door.
54:13
SPEAKER_00: Well, if you hear beans bark, we got five minutes in the show.
54:16
SPEAKER_00: We're still live, beans.
54:20
SPEAKER_00: I may have to let bean I may have to let beans out the door in real time.
54:23
SPEAKER_00: Come here, bean bean.
54:24
SPEAKER_00: Come here, say hi.
54:28
SPEAKER_00: She's trying to protect the door.
54:29
SPEAKER_00: You don't you're coming through live on audio, honey.
54:35
SPEAKER_00: Here, let me minimize the screen.
54:36
SPEAKER_00: We only got a few minutes left.
54:38
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna put you on the screen, Beaman, and we're gonna finish the article.
54:44
SPEAKER_00: The economic and human consequences are equally profound.
54:47
SPEAKER_00: Massive defense expenditures have pushed the debt of the federal government to nearly 40 trillion.
54:53
SPEAKER_00: A government willing to kill millions and spend trillions on foreign wars while borrowing money to pay the interest on borrowed money will one day collapse on its own weight, as have all empires.
55:04
SPEAKER_00: Well, there's a lot of wisdom in that.
55:06
SPEAKER_00: And I don't think you have to think that hard to get there, you know?
55:09
SPEAKER_00: That's sad part.
55:10
SPEAKER_00: Nobody thinks anymore.
55:12
SPEAKER_00: A genuinely constitutional foreign policy would look very different.
55:16
SPEAKER_00: Military force should be reserved for defending the United States against actual or truly imminent attacks, not speculative threats or ambitious nation-building projects or favors for other countries.
55:30
SPEAKER_00: Congress should debate and vote openly before committing American forces to any combat.
55:36
SPEAKER_00: Strong national defense does not require perpetual war.
55:39
SPEAKER_00: A capable military can deter aggression.
55:42
SPEAKER_00: Diplomacy, commerce, and peaceful engagement generally serve American interests more effectively than military intervention.
55:48
SPEAKER_00: And that is true.
55:49
SPEAKER_00: That's called soft power.
55:51
SPEAKER_00: That's also called strategy.
55:53
SPEAKER_00: And uh we lack that as well.
55:55
SPEAKER_00: Or maybe there is a strategy.
55:57
SPEAKER_00: It's something I said David Knightware and I were talking about today about four D chess.
56:04
SPEAKER_00: Or perhaps there is Ford D chess uh played against us.
56:08
SPEAKER_00: I think that's really the real story here.
56:13
SPEAKER_00: The constitutional allocation of war powers exists not as a procedural rule, but as a substantive lifeguard to freedom itself.
56:22
SPEAKER_00: Even unnecessary war expands executive authority, enlarges government, consumes wealth, risks American lives without clear necessity, and diminishes personal liberty.
56:33
SPEAKER_00: The best protection against endless conflict is a less powerful presidency and a renewed commitment to the Constitution's deliberate separations of power and the principle that the United States should fight only when its own security is imminently and genuinely requires it.
56:51
SPEAKER_00: Is it any wonder that the U.S.
56:54
SPEAKER_00: is unwilling or unable to justify its recent killings of 163 Tehran schoolgirls and their teachers?
57:05
SPEAKER_00: Again, it it you look at this, you digest it, you let it sit in your subconscious mind, and it really only gives you uh it's it's watching a a waking nightmare.
57:18
SPEAKER_00: And I don't think that you can ignore the ignore the consequences, even the not just the financial, but the spiritual consequences at your own peril.
57:28
SPEAKER_00: Uh and I think the one of the things we always hit on this show is uh at least I hope, right, is to encourage thinking.
57:39
SPEAKER_00: Something the late great Bill Cooper said.
57:41
SPEAKER_00: Like, don't don't believe me, don't follow me, go do your own research.
57:46
SPEAKER_00: Do the hard work of reading and thinking.
57:50
SPEAKER_00: You know, uh Henry Ford said that.
57:53
SPEAKER_00: He said it was the hardest job thinking was the hardest job of all.
57:56
SPEAKER_00: That's why so few people do it.
57:59
SPEAKER_00: Well, we'll try to do that here uh on the Transmission Weekly.
58:02
SPEAKER_00: I appreciate all of you uh stopping by.
58:05
SPEAKER_00: Thanks for my WWCR listeners, Worldwide Christian Radio, proudly uh on shortwave across the globe.
58:12
SPEAKER_00: And even even my folks following me on all these technocratic approved platforms.
58:18
SPEAKER_00: I appreciate you.
58:19
SPEAKER_00: But don't forget, follow us on the podcast channels for those shows.
58:23
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes if they get a little, if we get a little spicy, right?
58:27
SPEAKER_00: If we if we say some things that we might uh get banned for, you might find us on a podcast only or an audio only.
58:36
SPEAKER_00: You never know.
58:36
SPEAKER_00: I try to keep as much stuff on uh on the channel as possible.
58:43
SPEAKER_00: Let me see.
58:44
SPEAKER_00: Uh I've got one question left and then we'll uh we'll end the transmission.
58:48
SPEAKER_00: Tony, do you think Pete Blatter, Delta Force Commander, was correct about Powell being wrong about the satellite pictures of the mobile WMD in the desert?
58:58
SPEAKER_00: I don't know that particular reference, uh, but I do I followed that very closely at the time, and I thought, and I what I know now too, I think that um Colin Powell was a was a good man.
59:10
SPEAKER_00: I think that he got um caught up in the whirlwind of history, and I think he had to go uh before the UN for whatever reason, it could have been a lot of, it could have been personal, I don't know.
59:25
SPEAKER_00: But that I think that was uh his greatest mistake, and um you know a resignation would have been called for.
59:33
SPEAKER_00: And that's unfortunate, you know.
59:35
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes in life we meet those challenges and uh we don't get to have our best moment.
59:41
SPEAKER_00: That was not his best moment, uh, given what we knew and given our history and what we had given to Iraq and all the things leading up and all the the weapons to fight the Iranians and that famous video of Donald Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam.
59:56
SPEAKER_00: I mean, come on, guys.
59:57
SPEAKER_00: You know, there was there was um that wasn't the real reason for the war.
1:00:02
SPEAKER_00: These were manufactured reasons, and that's an unfortunate thing.
1:00:04
SPEAKER_00: That was uh that was Powell's darkest day.
1:00:08
SPEAKER_00: So uh I hope that answers your question.
1:00:12
SPEAKER_00: All right.
1:00:12
SPEAKER_00: Uh we'll be back next week.
1:00:15
SPEAKER_00: Same channel, Thursdays, uh 12 Eastern, 11 uh central time, uh politics, parapolitics, especially, precious metals, uh, all that stuff.
1:00:26
SPEAKER_00: Um markets in the monetary system, wealth and warfare, whatever.
1:00:31
SPEAKER_00: Whatever, I whatever things I can make rhyme.
1:00:33
SPEAKER_00: Uh we'll uh for two words I could put together.
1:00:36
SPEAKER_00: Uh Bitcoin and banksters.
1:00:38
SPEAKER_00: We'll get to that.
1:00:39
SPEAKER_00: Uh Wise Wolf Golden Crypto show coming back very soon.
1:00:41
SPEAKER_00: I'll be working with uh Ashley on that.
1:00:44
SPEAKER_00: So stay tuned.
1:00:45
SPEAKER_00: I'll I'll uh I'll give you guys a link here uh very soon as I get that show up and running.
1:00:51
SPEAKER_00: We'll we'll won't talk so much politics, but we'll be talking macro stuff, and uh we'll focus on that new economic world order that's being built.
1:01:00
unknown: All right.
1:01:00
SPEAKER_00: You guys have a great weekend.
1:01:02
SPEAKER_00: Take care of each other.
1:01:04
SPEAKER_00: End of transmission.
