  launch from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

  The SLS and after launching to Earth orbit, the crew will

  perform systems checks and solar panel adjustments on Orion

  before setting its course to the moon.

  Now, before the crew, launch SpaceX will launch a storage

  Depot to Earth. Orbit reusable, tankers will

  carry propellant to the storage Depot to fuel, the human Landing
• 4:54
  system, the uncrewed Starship, huming Landing system will then
• 4:58
  launch to Earth orbit and rendezvous with the storage
• 5:01
  Depot to fill its tanks before executing a translunar
• 5:05
  injection, engine burn and travel, approximately six days
• 5:09
  to n rho where it will await the Artemis three crew.

  Now we're both spacecraft have arrived in rho.

  Orion will dock with the Starship human Landing system.

  In preparation. For the first lunar surface,

  expedition of the 21st century to astronauts will be aboard a

  Starship and to will remain in Orion.

  The astronauts will down Advanced space suits provided by

  Axiom space to explore the lunar surface.

  Now, during the moon walks, the astronauts will take pictures

  and collect other data to meet specific scientific objectives.

  And the view from the lunar South Pole region will look very

  different from the photos taken on Apollo missions in the

  Three astronauts will increase our understanding of the

  mysterious South Pole region the moon, and our solar system as a

  whole. And when their surf is

  Expedition, is complete, the two astronauts will lift off the

  surface of the Moon and head back to n rho in Starship to
• 6:18
  reunite with their crewmates in Orion.

  And after docking, the crew will spend up to five days in orbit,

  transferring samples between the vehicles and preparing for the
• 6:28
  journey back to earth when they reach the optimal and rho
• 6:32
  departure point with all four. Astronauts back in the Orion
• 6:35
  capsule they'll undock from the starship.

  Ignite Orion's engines, slinging the spacecraft passed the moon
• 6:42
  and allowing it to Coast towards Earth.

  The crew will travel about 25,000 miles, that's about
• 6:50
  40,000 kilometers per hour. During re-entry into Earth's
• 6:53
  atmosphere, will be assisted by 11:00 parachutes and they'll

  Splashdown in the Pacific Ocean where it and the crew will be

  retrieved with support from the US Coast Guard and the US Navy

  Now, Artemis 3 will be one of the most complex undertaking of
• 7:09
  engineering and human Ingenuity in the history of deep space,

  exploration, and all of humankind to date.

  The astronauts observation samples, and data collected will

  expand our understanding of our solar system and our home planet

  while inspiring the Next Generation.

  Now, this Mission will usher in a future in which humans

  consistently access the Moon and human Planetary Exploration

  missions are Within Reach now, each Artemis Mission will

  technology, as we prepare for the first human missions to Mars
