- 0:19Now, I'm your host will Walden. And today, we'll be discussing
- 0:23how Elon musk's SpaceX is making history by partnering with NASA
- 0:28and Axiom of space. The Artemis 3 mission in the
- 0:33world of space exploration. Elon Musk has long been a
- 0:36Visionary and a driving force. But Space X is ambitious, plans
- 0:40to make space travel accessible and sustainable musk has time.
- 0:44And again, proven that the impossible can become possible
- 0:48and now with SpaceX is Starship taking center stage in NASA's
- 0:52Artemis 3 mission. We're witnessing a new chapter
- 0:55in space history unfold now. Artemis 3 is NASA's Bowl.
- 1:00Initiative to return humans to the moon and pave the way for
- 1:03future missions to Mars and SpaceX is Starship.
- 1:06Will play a critical role in transporting the astronauts from
- 1:10lunar orbit to the surface of the Moon and Back Again, marking
- 1:13a major milestone in human space exploration.
- 1:17Now as we discussed the Journey of SpaceX and it's remarkable
- 1:20partner with NASA, let's take a moment to appreciate the
- 1:23unwavering determination and sheer Brilliance of Elon Musk
- 1:26and his team who've led the way to redefining what's possible.
- 1:30Possible in the final frontier. Now, we also have to talk about
- 1:35Axiom space in their brand-new space suit when astronauts
- 1:41return to the moon for the first time in over 50 years, as part
- 1:44of NASA's Artemis 3 mission, they'll be wearing Axiom spaces.
- 1:49Next Generation space suit to walk on the lunar.
- 1:52Surface, Axiom spaces, Artemis three space suit aims to meet
- 1:58the complex challenges of the lunar.
- 2:00South Pole and help grow our understanding of the Moon, in
- 2:04order to enable a long-term presence there, the Axiom
- 2:08extravehicular Mobility unit, the axe emu, spacesuit revealed
- 2:12that Space Center Houston's Moon to Mars Festival is a prototype
- 2:17designed to accommodate a wide range of crew members.
- 2:20The full Fleet of training space suits is set to be delivered to
- 2:23NASA by late summer of this year.
- 2:27Now, the advanced space suit ensures astronauts are equipped
- 2:30with high performing robust equipment for their missions.
- 2:33And The Leverage NASA's exploration, extravehicular
- 2:37Mobility unit. The X emu space suit designed
- 2:40the Axiom space space suits, provide increased flexibility
- 2:46greater protection and specialized tools for
- 2:48exploration and scientific opportunities and the new space
- 2:52suit will enable exploration of more of the lunar surface than
- 2:56ever. Before.
- 2:58For display purposes. The spacesuit has a custom cover
- 3:01layer. Designed by Esther Marquis from
- 3:04the Apple TV series, For All Mankind.
- 3:08Using the Axiom space logo and brand colors.
- 3:11They made this suit striking the actual space suit worn on the
- 3:14moon, will be white to reflect heat, and protect astronauts
- 3:19from extreme temperatures. As this one is a darker Navy or
- 3:23black color right now. Now, the Artemis 3 mission,
- 3:27which is scheduled to land near the lunar, South Pole in 2025 is
- 3:31a significant milestone in American leadership in space
- 3:35exploration. NASA's Orion spacecraft will
- 3:38transport the crew to, and from Earth, and in, and out of lunar
- 3:42orbit, the crew will be selected from the most diverse astronaut
- 3:46Corps in history. Each equipped with unique skills
- 3:49and intensely trained. And this Mission will include a
- 3:53launch from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
- 3:55A top. The space launch system rocket.
- 3:57The SLS and after launching to Earth orbit, the crew will
- 4:00perform systems checks and solar panel adjustments on Orion
- 4:04before setting its course to the moon.
- 4:07Now we'll Ryan at that point will perform a series of engine
- 4:10Burns to place the spacecraft and near rikyu kneeler Halo
- 4:16orbit. And NASA has selected SpaceX to
- 4:19provide the human Landing system that will transport Artemis,
- 4:22three astronauts from Orion in lunar orbit to the surface of
- 4:26the Moon and Back Again, SpaceX plans to use a unique concept of
- 4:30operations to increase the overall efficiency of their
- 4:33Lander. And after a series of tests
- 4:36SpaceX will fly at least one uncrewed demo mission that lands
- 4:40the Starship on the lunar surface.
- 4:44Now, before the crew, launch SpaceX will launch a storage
- 4:47Depot to Earth. Orbit reusable, tankers will
- 4:50carry propellant to the storage Depot to fuel, the human Landing
- 4:54system, the uncrewed Starship, huming Landing system will then
- 4:58launch to Earth orbit and rendezvous with the storage
- 5:01Depot to fill its tanks before executing a translunar
- 5:05injection, engine burn and travel, approximately six days
- 5:09to n rho where it will await the Artemis three crew.
- 5:14Now we're both spacecraft have arrived in rho.
- 5:17Orion will dock with the Starship human Landing system.
- 5:20In preparation. For the first lunar surface,
- 5:23expedition of the 21st century to astronauts will be aboard a
- 5:28Starship and to will remain in Orion.
- 5:32The astronauts will down Advanced space suits provided by
- 5:34Axiom space to explore the lunar surface.
- 5:38Now, during the moon walks, the astronauts will take pictures
- 5:41and video survey. Geology retrieve samples bowls
- 5:44and collect other data to meet specific scientific objectives.
- 5:49And the view from the lunar South Pole region will look very
- 5:52different from the photos taken on Apollo missions in the
- 5:55moon's. Equatorial region the
- 5:58information and materials collected by Artemis.
- 6:00Three astronauts will increase our understanding of the
- 6:02mysterious South Pole region the moon, and our solar system as a
- 6:07whole. And when their surf is
- 6:10Expedition, is complete, the two astronauts will lift off the
- 6:13surface of the Moon and head back to n rho in Starship to
- 6:18reunite with their crewmates in Orion.
- 6:21And after docking, the crew will spend up to five days in orbit,
- 6:24transferring samples between the vehicles and preparing for the
- 6:28journey back to earth when they reach the optimal and rho
- 6:32departure point with all four. Astronauts back in the Orion
- 6:35capsule they'll undock from the starship.
- 6:38Ignite Orion's engines, slinging the spacecraft passed the moon
- 6:42and allowing it to Coast towards Earth.
- 6:45The crew will travel about 25,000 miles, that's about
- 6:5040,000 kilometers per hour. During re-entry into Earth's
- 6:53atmosphere, will be assisted by 11:00 parachutes and they'll
- 6:57Splashdown in the Pacific Ocean where it and the crew will be
- 7:01retrieved with support from the US Coast Guard and the US Navy
- 7:05Now, Artemis 3 will be one of the most complex undertaking of
- 7:09engineering and human Ingenuity in the history of deep space,
- 7:13exploration, and all of humankind to date.
- 7:16The astronauts observation samples, and data collected will
- 7:19expand our understanding of our solar system and our home planet
- 7:23while inspiring the Next Generation.
- 7:26Now, this Mission will usher in a future in which humans
- 7:30consistently access the Moon and human Planetary Exploration
- 7:34missions are Within Reach now, each Artemis Mission will
- 7:38increase our knowledge refine our operations improve our
- 7:41technology, as we prepare for the first human missions to Mars
- 7:46aboard, a SpaceX Starship Of the development of Axiom space, next
- 7:52Generation, space suits and the Artemis 3 mission are poised to
- 7:55change the landscape of space exploration and they'll bring
- 8:00about new discoveries and opportunities for scientific
- 8:03advancement including Starship and SpaceX.
- 8:08The mission success will not only be a testament to the
- 8:11incredible progress in space technology but also a reflection
- 8:15of the diverse and talented individuals contributing to this
- 8:17Monumental endeavor. And as we look forward to the
- 8:20Artemis 3 mission, and the first woman, and the first person of
- 8:24color setting foot on the moon, we stand at the threshold of a
- 8:27new era in space exploration. This Milestone serves as a
- 8:31reminder of the power of human Ingenuity and the endless,
- 8:34possibilities that lie ahead when we dare to dream.
