Speaker 3: It's Angie Gildenwater from the Gonaal Charleston Reumaine Association with
• 2:39
Speaker 3: this week's Adopt Me Please Pet of the Week. Angie,
• 2:42
Speaker 3: Good morning, Welcome to the show.
• 2:44
Speaker 5: Good morning, How are you doing this morning?
• 2:46
Speaker 3: I'm doing fine. First of all, I want to say
• 2:48
Speaker 3: sad to hear that my now former co host for
• 2:52
Speaker 3: this segment, I guess the last three or four years
• 2:54
Speaker 3: of so Hannah Gardner no longer part of the team
• 2:56
Speaker 3: with the shelter. She did a great job on the segment.
• 2:59
Speaker 3: I know she did great work for you folks as well,
• 3:01
Speaker 3: so we her wish her the best in her future endeavors.
• 3:05
Speaker 5: Correct. I hope, I hope things are so much better
• 3:09
Speaker 5: and good for her from this point on.
• 3:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, she did a great job on the segment. She
• 3:13
Speaker 3: was as nervous as she could possibly be, and then
• 3:15
Speaker 3: after a while she came in and she's just like, yeah,
• 3:18
Speaker 3: I got this. So but she's a great person and
• 3:21
Speaker 3: I wish her the best in everything. She had a
• 3:23
Speaker 3: great job carrying me through this segment for the last
• 3:26
Speaker 3: three or four years. All right, let's get to our
• 3:28
Speaker 3: adopt me please put of the week. As always, pictures
• 3:30
Speaker 3: posted over my social media Dave Allen Radio on Facebook
• 3:34
Speaker 3: and at day Dave A seventy on Twitter. Let's talk
• 3:37
  Speaker 3: about Chester.
• 3:40
Speaker 5: Let's talk about Chester. Chester is a very unique dog
• 3:44
Speaker 5: in our kennels right now. Not only does he have
• 3:47
Speaker 5: three legs, he was in an incident where we had
• 3:50
Speaker 5: to remove one of his back legs, but he has
• 3:53
Speaker 5: a unique appearance. She's got those uppy ears and very
• 3:56
Speaker 5: unique coloring. But Chester also is very His unique thing
• 4:01
Speaker 5: about him is he hates cars and trucks, vans, all
• 4:06
Speaker 5: anything automobile. He will bark at it, he will chase it.
• 4:09
Speaker 5: A few of our employee cars in the parking lot
• 4:12
Speaker 5: have fallen victim to Chester attacking.
• 4:14
Speaker 3: So do you think, I mean, you have any idea
• 4:16
Speaker 3: where this trauma with cars and trucks comes from from Chester?
• 4:21
Speaker 3: Was it related to something out of his past? Does
• 4:23
Speaker 3: he talk about it a lot? I mean, what's the
• 4:25
  Speaker 3: situation with Chester?
• 4:27
Speaker 5: You know, our Behaviors has sat down with Chester and
• 4:29
Speaker 5: tried to crack the code on that, and there's not
• 4:33
Speaker 5: really an answer that she has a clear answer. It
• 4:35
Speaker 5: could be something from the past. It could be he
• 4:38
Speaker 5: just really hates you know, our kids and our Toyota's
• 4:40
Speaker 5: in the parking lot. It could be any of the above.
• 4:44
Speaker 5: But we know that he definitely hates anything that's big
• 4:46
  Speaker 5: with wheels.
• 4:47
Speaker 3: So I guess once you adopt him, though, I mean,
• 4:50
Speaker 3: and you put him in the vehicle and you get
• 4:52
Speaker 3: into your home, I guess he would be okay from there,
• 4:55
Speaker 3: I would guess, I mean, or does he just is
• 4:56
Speaker 3: he going to go attack the car as it sits
• 4:58
Speaker 3: in the garage or in the under the car port,
• 5:01
Speaker 3: or do we know.
• 5:03
Speaker 5: So he has been adopted from us once before. His
• 5:06
Speaker 5: adopters unfortunately moved and couldn't take them with But he
• 5:11
Speaker 5: did fine at their house, they said, after a couple
• 5:13
Speaker 5: of days, he finally started leaving the car alone, and
• 5:17
Speaker 5: when they would take him on walks, he would mostly
• 5:19
Speaker 5: be more concerned about, you know, running and playing on
• 5:22
Speaker 5: his walk. After a couple of days of defensiizing to
• 5:26
Speaker 5: the area. So I think it'll be, you know, probably
• 5:29
Speaker 5: shocking to see your first couple of days home, But
• 5:31
Speaker 5: once he warms up, he'll be fine.
• 5:33
Speaker 3: He's a beautiful dog. And again, he is three and
• 5:35
Speaker 3: a half years old. He is neutered and vaccinated, and
• 5:38
Speaker 3: he's sponsored Angie, which means he's free.
• 5:40
Speaker 6: Right, that is correct.
• 5:42
Speaker 5: Somebody has already paid for his adoption fee, so you
• 5:45
  Speaker 5: don't have.
• 5:45
Speaker 3: To all right, what else have we got going on
• 5:48
Speaker 3: at the shelter? I mean, I know you've always got
• 5:50
Speaker 3: something big going on. I know you're kind of looking
• 5:51
Speaker 3: forward to Tuxas and Tails that'll be coming up here
• 5:54
Speaker 3: in a couple of months. We're already kind of got
• 5:56
Speaker 3: that on our radar. What else we.
• 5:57
Speaker 5: Got We've got tests and Tails has been taking a
• 6:00
Speaker 5: lot of our attention. We are planning on a few
• 6:04
Speaker 5: adoption specials coming up that just follow our Facebook page
• 6:07
Speaker 5: to keep in tune with when that will be happening.
• 6:11
Speaker 5: And then I think that might is, you know, trying
• 6:14
Speaker 5: to get all of our animals out of there and
• 6:16
  Speaker 5: into home.
• 6:17
Speaker 3: And if you want information on Texas or tails again,
• 6:19
Speaker 3: you guys, and I was used to talking to a
• 6:20
Speaker 3: handa about this. You guys do a fantastic job in
• 6:22
Speaker 3: your social media pages, so all the information. It's one
• 6:25
Speaker 3: of the premier events in Charleston is the annual Tuxes
• 6:28
Speaker 3: and Tales. I think it's in May, is that right?
• 6:31
Speaker 5: Yes, It's usually falls on the day of the Kentuckuy.
• 6:33
Speaker 3: Oh that's right, Yeah, yeah, yeah, Hanna and I talked
• 6:35
Speaker 3: about that. It's actually going to be a Derby theme
• 6:38
Speaker 3: this year. That's right. I forgot about that.
• 6:40
Speaker 5: Yeah, So it should be like one of the first
• 6:42
Speaker 5: weekends in May, I do believe.
• 6:43
Speaker 3: Yeah, And again the information about that is available on
• 6:47
Speaker 3: the social media pages, particularly the Facebook page of the
• 6:49
Speaker 3: Canal Charleston. You made an association quick cominder at the
• 6:52
Speaker 3: day Vallance show on five eighty Live is brought to
• 6:53
Speaker 3: you a part by Pinnacle Consultants. Poor indoor air quality
• 6:56
Speaker 3: can cause a variety of health issues, allergies, respiratory problems,
• 6:59
Speaker 3: and Pinnacles offer specialized indoor air quality services for residential, commercial,
• 7:04
Speaker 3: and industrial type settings. Visit Pinnacle Corp dot net. Because
• 7:08
Speaker 3: what you don't know can't hurt you. What are you
• 7:09
Speaker 3: folks in need of right now? At the at the shelter, Angie.
• 7:13
Speaker 5: I know a lot of our team is out with
• 7:15
  Speaker 5: the flu, so.
• 7:17
Speaker 3: Well, it can't help you there.
• 7:19
Speaker 5: Yeah, so volunteers are a big need. But if you can't,
• 7:23
Speaker 5: you know, if you don't have time to come volunteer,
• 7:24
Speaker 5: we can always take supplies like Purina dog chowl, Purina
• 7:28
Speaker 5: cat chow, pretty much anything pet related will make.
• 7:31
  Speaker 6: Use out of.
• 7:32
Speaker 3: Somebody sent a text to the show and said, any
• 7:34
Speaker 3: updates on a new shelter?
• 7:37
  Speaker 6: Oh?
• 7:37
Speaker 5: Sorry, those are my dogs. So we have a property
• 7:41
Speaker 5: picked out, the property is located. We're not allowed to
• 7:44
Speaker 5: share the name of the property and there it's at yet,
• 7:47
Speaker 5: all I can say is Charleston area, And in about
• 7:51
Speaker 5: three to five years we should have the new shelter
• 7:54
Speaker 5: completely constructed and up.
• 7:56
Speaker 3: Well, certainly we'll be looking forward to that because I mean,
• 7:59
Speaker 3: you guys have been up there for quite some time
• 8:00
Speaker 3: and you have the high water issues. We know that,
• 8:03
Speaker 3: and probably I'm gonna go ahead and say you need
• 8:05
Speaker 3: a bigger space too, because I know you've got them
• 8:07
Speaker 3: at times. You got the dogs in offices and wherever
• 8:11
Speaker 3: you can find a place for them. So I'm hoping
• 8:12
Speaker 3: that this space will not only be on a little
• 8:14
Speaker 3: higher ground, but also will offer you more space.
• 8:18
Speaker 5: Yes, that is correct. We're hoping that the new shelter
• 8:21
  Speaker 5: at least it's capacity. We're hoping that it'll be a
• 8:25
Speaker 5: little bit larger and that we can help even more
• 8:27
Speaker 5: animals than can County that need it.
• 8:29
Speaker 3: All right, we'll let you get back to an Angie,
• 8:31
Speaker 3: I appreciate you being here and the pictures posted as
• 8:34
Speaker 3: always on my social media. We'll talk again soon. Thanks
• 8:37
Speaker 3: a lot, perfect, Thank you.
• 8:39
Speaker 5: You have a good one you as well.
• 8:40
Speaker 3: Angie Gillenwater from the Canal Charleston Humaine Association with Chester
• 8:44
Speaker 3: the Three Legged Dog are adopt me. Please pet of
• 8:47
Speaker 3: the Weekend again. If you want to see Chester's picture,
• 8:49
Speaker 3: just going over to Dave alland Radio on Facebook or
• 8:52
Speaker 3: at Dave A seventy on X. The artist formally known
• 8:55
Speaker 3: as Twitter, and you can check out Chester's picture. Chester
• 8:59
Speaker 3: is three and a half years old. He is neutered
• 9:01
Speaker 3: and vaccinated. He is fully sponsored, meaning he is free,
• 9:06
Speaker 3: does great with playful dogs. And again I've been doing
• 9:08
Speaker 3: this segment with you know, with Hannah, who's no longer
• 9:11
Speaker 3: with them, but for about three four years or so,
• 9:15
Speaker 3: I have never heard of any of the other pets
• 9:18
Speaker 3: that we featured that had a I don't want to
• 9:20
Speaker 3: say a fear, but a downright disdain for automobiles. For
• 9:25
Speaker 3: Henry Ford's creation, you know, that's that's gonna be something
• 9:31
Speaker 3: to kind of work through. But again, he was adopted
• 9:33
Speaker 3: before and he did fine. The only reason that they
• 9:36
Speaker 3: brought Chester back was because the folks moved and they
• 9:38
Speaker 3: couldn't have an animal where they were going. So, you know,
• 9:42
Speaker 3: once you get used to the fact that he's going
• 9:44
Speaker 3: to declare war on your neighbors, you know, Cadillac, other
• 9:47
Speaker 3: than that, he'll be fine. So again, great dog, great
• 9:51
Speaker 3: with other playful dogs, and he will settle down after
• 9:54
Speaker 3: a while once you get him used to the vehicle
• 9:56
Speaker 3: in your in your driveway. Chester is again, he only
• 9:59
Speaker 3: has to three legs. He is three and a half
• 10:02
Speaker 3: years old, neutered, vaccinated, and he's fully sponsored meeting. He
• 10:05
Speaker 3: is free and he does great with the other playful dogs.
• 10:08

Speaker 3: As we get closer to Saint Patrick's Day, suddenly everyone
• 14:12
Speaker 3: identifies as Irish. You have a chance though, for students
• 14:16
Speaker 3: to study abroad in exchange with Ireland.
• 14:19
  Speaker 6: Is that right?
• 14:20
Speaker 10: It's true. So Ireland used to be a coal based economy,
• 14:24
Speaker 10: just like West Virginia. Ireland actually looks a lot like
• 14:27
Speaker 10: West Virginia, and they've done a ton in the last
• 14:31
Speaker 10: several years to diversify their economy and really grow jobs
• 14:34
Speaker 10: and grow grow their income base. And so Marshall University
• 14:39
Speaker 10: and Bridge Valley went together and wrote a grant to
• 14:42
Speaker 10: the State Department to do an exchange with a what's
• 14:46
Speaker 10: called Dandalic Institute of Technology. And they're in Ireland. So
• 14:51
Speaker 10: next week they'll actually come out and visit us, and
• 14:53
Speaker 10: then this summer we'll send groups of students to Ireland
• 14:56
Speaker 10: to visit them so that we can really learn from
• 14:58
Speaker 10: each other and think about how do we grow our economy.
• 15:00
Speaker 3: So this is a student based thing. Are you bringing
• 15:03
Speaker 3: the educators as well or a mix of both, or.
• 15:04
Speaker 10: What it's a mix of We always send an educator
• 15:08
Speaker 10: with groups of students. It really is intended to help
• 15:11
Speaker 10: get students thinking about what kinds of businesses could they
• 15:14
Speaker 10: replicate and what kinds of things could they bring right
• 15:16
Speaker 10: here to West Virginia.
• 15:17
Speaker 3: So when they come here to West Virginia, I mean,
• 15:20
Speaker 3: I'm sure you'll be a part of this as well
• 15:22
Speaker 3: with the other staff at Bridge Valley. What are you
• 15:24
Speaker 3: going to tell them about about us?
• 15:28
Speaker 10: So they'll do a whole tour here in South Charleston.
• 15:30
Speaker 10: They'll get to see our facilities. We'll talk a lot
• 15:33
Speaker 10: about manufacturing and nurse nursing and it we'll talk a
• 15:37
Speaker 10: lot about healthcare. Really, we'll talk about many of the
• 15:39
Speaker 10: things that you and I talk about when I'm on
• 15:41
Speaker 10: your show, and get to show them what we're doing
• 15:44
Speaker 10: that's so great around job training, and then we hope
• 15:47
Speaker 10: to learn from them what they've done around economic diversification.
• 15:51
Speaker 3: So when you get to when when the trip is
• 15:52
Speaker 3: made to Ireland, will you get to go.
• 15:55
Speaker 10: I'm not going, I'm sending a faculty man.
• 15:57
Speaker 3: Have you ever been to Ireland?
• 15:58
Speaker 10: I have been to Ireland.
• 16:00
Speaker 3: What's your impression because I've never been.
• 16:02
Speaker 10: It's great. I actually went for Saint Patrick's Day one
• 16:04
Speaker 10: year and got to go to Mass in Saint Patrick's Cathedral.
• 16:07
Speaker 10: It was an incredible experience.
• 16:09
Speaker 3: Because I've heard that you know, it's kind of like
• 16:11
Speaker 3: sinking to Mayo is se because they say that sinking
• 16:13
Speaker 3: to Mayo is really not a thing in Mexico. But
• 16:16
Speaker 3: Saint Patrick's Day really is a thing in Ireland.
• 16:18
Speaker 10: Saint Patrick's Day is really a thing in Ireland.

• 16:38
  Speaker 3: that a possibility?
• 16:39
Speaker 10: Oh, that's actually that's a great idea for breakfast.
• 16:42
Speaker 11: Give them a little Tonic.
• 16:43
Speaker 3: Please give him a little of the West Virginia culture here.
• 16:47
Speaker 3: You know I can sick take don't take him down
• 16:50
Speaker 3: to see Tony the Taylor though, okay, a sponsor of
• 16:52
Speaker 3: this show, keep them away from Tony to Taylor for
• 16:54
  Speaker 3: at all possible.
• 16:54
  Speaker 10: We're Tony.
• 16:56
Speaker 3: I say that because Tony and I is. Tony's been
• 16:58
Speaker 3: texting me, you know, here on show. So you like
• 17:02
Speaker 3: to come on talk about this now award winning FAME
• 17:05
Speaker 3: a program at Bridge Valley. Let's talk about it again.
• 17:08
  Speaker 12: Yeah.
• 17:09
Speaker 10: So FAME is the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education. It
• 17:12
Speaker 10: actually was something that Toyota started in Kentucky when they
• 17:16
Speaker 10: saw that lots of manufacturers in the region really had
• 17:19
Speaker 10: the same workforce needs and that they should be working collaboratively.
• 17:23
Speaker 10: So they brought it here to West Virginia and chose
• 17:25
Speaker 10: Bridge Valley as their education partner. And the idea for
• 17:28
Speaker 10: the same program is how do we get more people
• 17:31
Speaker 10: to go into manufacturing careers. And the businesses that participate
• 17:35
Speaker 10: help recruit students into the Bridge Valley program, and then
• 17:38
Speaker 10: they come to school at Bridge Valley three days a
• 17:41
Speaker 10: week and they work with the businesses two days a week,
• 17:44
Speaker 10: and most of the businesses end up hiring those students
• 17:47
  Speaker 10: when they graduate.
• 17:48
Speaker 3: Again, we're talking with doctor Casey Sachs Abridge Valley, and
• 17:52
Speaker 3: I know that we talk a lot about the need
• 17:55
Speaker 3: for healthcare professionals here in estate of West Virginia, and
• 17:58
Speaker 3: you folks are doing an expansion of the nursing program,
• 18:02
Speaker 3: and you got a pretty big grant to do that
• 18:05
Speaker 3: and some other cool stuff as well.
• 18:06
Speaker 10: Right, we did so when a few years ago we
• 18:10
Speaker 10: said we want to double the size of our nursing program,
• 18:12
Speaker 10: so we were at about one hundred and twenty students.
• 18:14
Speaker 10: Then we've crossed the three hundred mark, so we've more
• 18:17
Speaker 10: than doubled it. But we really when we set that
• 18:20
Speaker 10: as an initial goal, we came up with a whole
• 18:22
Speaker 10: bunch of things that we said, if we did all
• 18:24
Speaker 10: these things, it would really help nursing at the college
• 18:28
Speaker 10: and in the region. And so how do we do
• 18:30
Speaker 10: all these things? So we've been slowly working on how
• 18:34
Speaker 10: do we get more equipment, how do we get more
• 18:36
Speaker 10: clinical spaces, how do we make sure we have the
• 18:38
Speaker 10: experiences for students that they need. And we were just
• 18:41
Speaker 10: awarded a one and a half million dollar grant to
• 18:44
Speaker 10: buy some more of those really critical things. One of
• 18:48
Speaker 10: the coolest things for students that's here at Bridge Valley
• 18:51
Speaker 10: and unique to us, is we have our Booker T
• 18:53
Speaker 10: Washington nursing wing and when students sit for their clinicals,
• 18:58
Speaker 10: they can do actually do half of their clinical experiences
• 19:01
Speaker 10: in a simulated environment. But we want that to be
• 19:04
Speaker 10: so authentic. So when you come here and visit our
• 19:07
Speaker 10: mannequins that sometimes students practice on, they have age spots,
• 19:10
Speaker 10: they can give birth, they can throw up deeve, So
• 19:13
Speaker 10: we really want them to be that authentic.
• 19:16
Speaker 3: So that's a selling point right there.
• 19:17
Speaker 10: And they can throw up too, they can.
• 19:23
Speaker 3: One of the more unique things. Promo Ryan, promo on that.
• 19:27
Speaker 3: That's a kind of a code where between me and
• 19:28
Speaker 3: my producer Ryan Nicholson, you know, I just got a
• 19:32
Speaker 3: really brilliant idea. I get one like every three or
• 19:34
Speaker 3: four months, and you just have it to be the
• 19:35
Speaker 3: recipient of it today. Okay, great, when and this does
• 19:39
Speaker 3: not have to do with throwing up mannequins. Okay, when
• 19:42
Speaker 3: you have the students and the faculty and whatnot from
• 19:46
Speaker 3: Ireland in why not bring them by the studio here
• 19:50
Speaker 3: and put them on the air with me. Okay, do
• 19:53
Speaker 3: you think he can maybe work that into the studio
• 19:55
Speaker 3: or just want to not expose them to me?
• 19:57
Speaker 10: No, I can handle exposing them to you. Let me
• 20:00
Speaker 10: play with their schedule today.
• 20:02
Speaker 3: Let me see what the schedule is and you, you
• 20:04
Speaker 3: and I will talk maybe later in the day. We'll
• 20:05
Speaker 3: see if we can get them in here. I think
• 20:07
Speaker 3: it would be kind of cool and we don't have
• 20:08
Speaker 3: to have them for the whole show, but if the
• 20:10
Speaker 3: schedule works out, we'd like to have them in here.
• 20:12
Speaker 3: We get to know them and get to get to
• 20:13
Speaker 3: know what they're doing there in Ireland, and they can
• 20:15
Speaker 3: get a little like a little radio culture here. We'll
• 20:19
Speaker 3: expose them to Steve Animal and all these fine folks here. Well,
• 20:21
Speaker 3: that's probably not a good idea. Ksey Sas a Bridge

Speaker 3: Commissioner Kent Leonhard will join us a little bit later
• 28:21
Speaker 3: on the show to talk about that. Want to welcome
• 28:23
Speaker 3: to the show now, lady who I've not gotten to
• 28:24
Speaker 3: meet in person, but we've exchanged a lot of correspondence.
• 28:27
Speaker 3: That is Marnie Rustmeyer. Good morning, Welcome to the show.
• 28:29
Speaker 3: I got to turn your microphone on there. Sorry, I'm
• 28:31
Speaker 3: new on the job. Welcome to the show.
• 28:34
Speaker 11: Thank you, I'm good morning to you. It's great to
• 28:36
  Speaker 11: be here.
• 28:36
Speaker 3: Thank you for joining us this morning. Tell us overall
• 28:39
Speaker 3: about you give us your bio before we talk about
• 28:42
Speaker 3: your work, because you got a fascinating story that has
• 28:44
Speaker 3: to do a lot with right here in Charleston talking
• 28:46
  Speaker 3: to sure.
• 28:47
  Speaker 6: Sure.
• 28:47
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 28:48
Speaker 12: I just want to say thank you again for having
• 28:50
Speaker 12: me on the show. And it is an important month
• 28:53
Speaker 12: because February is cancer prevention month, and this sort of
• 28:56
Speaker 12: leads into my story because my mom was diagnosed with
• 29:00
Speaker 12: breast cancer at the age of forty, and because of
• 29:04
Speaker 12: her her diagnosis and my family history and my increased
• 29:10
Speaker 12: risk of getting breast cancer, I decided to get genetic
• 29:13
Speaker 12: testing and tested positive for the breast cancer gene mutation,
• 29:17
Speaker 12: and that resulted in me getting a double mistectomy, a
• 29:22
Speaker 12: preventative double mystectomy, and reconstructive surgeries.
• 29:25
Speaker 3: Okay, so, and I thought it was interesting going back
• 29:29
Speaker 3: to your mom that she was diagnosed at age forty
• 29:31
Speaker 3: because a lot of times people think that when they
• 29:33
Speaker 3: think the C word, they think it's only older people.
• 29:36
Speaker 3: But there's people a lot younger than forty that have
• 29:39
Speaker 3: been diagnosed with cancers of all kinds, including breast cancer.
• 29:42
Speaker 12: Absolutely, and more and more people are getting diagnosed now,
• 29:46
Speaker 12: and I think a lot of it has to do
• 29:48
Speaker 12: with the increased awareness and people really taking advantage of
• 29:54
Speaker 12: all of the tools that are out there to get
• 29:56
Speaker 12: the genetic testing, and just being aware that they need
• 30:00
Speaker 12: to take care of theirselves and do their self exams
• 30:05
Speaker 12: on a monthly basis and really be proactive about their health.
• 30:09
Speaker 3: So talk about the work that you're doing. That's why
• 30:11
Speaker 3: you're here. I wanted to give people a little bit
• 30:12
Speaker 3: of background on you and.
• 30:15
Speaker 11: Now you are from West Virginia.
• 30:17
  Speaker 3: You're a West Virginia person, but you're living in I.
• 30:19
Speaker 11: Live in West Virginia, live in West Virginia.
• 30:21
Speaker 3: Okay, okay, Okay, you're righty.
• 30:23
Speaker 11: So I was living in New York.
• 30:25
Speaker 3: I grew up in Please don't make me think I'm
• 30:28
Speaker 3: totally crazy because I was reading, Well, I am, but
• 30:31
Speaker 3: it's another story, because I was reading the bio and
• 30:33
Speaker 3: I was under the impression that you were still in
• 30:35
Speaker 3: that you're still in New York, but you're actually here
• 30:36
  Speaker 3: in West Virginia.
• 30:37
  Speaker 11: Now, I am.
• 30:38
  Speaker 6: I am.
• 30:38
Speaker 12: I grew up here, and I did live in New
• 30:41
Speaker 12: York for quite a little while because I was in banking.
• 30:44
Speaker 11: I have a degree in finance.
• 30:46
Speaker 12: And after I had the double mistectomy, it really was
• 30:50
Speaker 12: a life altering decision for me because that's when I
• 30:53
Speaker 12: decided that I wanted to find a different line of work,
• 30:57
Speaker 12: one that was more fulfilling to me but it also
• 31:00
Speaker 12: help other people. And that led me into the field
• 31:03
  Speaker 12: of restorative tattooing.
• 31:04
  Speaker 3: All right, and that's why we're that's what you're here
• 31:05
Speaker 3: to talk about. So what exactly is restorative tattooing?
• 31:08
Speaker 4: What do you do?
• 31:09
  Speaker 2: So?
• 31:09
Speaker 12: And what I do is do three d nipple aerolite
• 31:14
Speaker 12: tattooing for breast cancer survivors and previbers.
• 31:18
Speaker 11: It basically it's a pre viber.
• 31:19
  Speaker 3: It's a term.
• 31:20
  Speaker 11: I haven't had so a preb I'm a previb Okay, So.
• 31:23
Speaker 3: I mean I can. I could put it together to
• 31:24
Speaker 3: figure out what it is, but I never heard it
• 31:26
Speaker 3: called a pre viber. Talk about that.
• 31:27
Speaker 12: So, a previver is somebody that alects to have a
• 31:33
Speaker 12: double mistectomy as a result of either their family history
• 31:36
Speaker 12: or a diagnosis with a genetic gene mutation, and they
• 31:42
Speaker 12: have the surgery they to prevent themselves from getting breast cancer.
• 31:46
Speaker 3: Okay, all right, So uh so let's talk about the
• 31:50
Speaker 3: what goes into this.
• 31:51
Speaker 11: Well, there's a lot that goes into it.
• 31:53
Speaker 3: We got we got time, so okay, all right.
• 31:57
Speaker 11: I had a lot of I did a lot of training.
• 31:59
Speaker 12: I've been doing this for about eight years, and I
• 32:03
Speaker 12: trained at Pen Medicine, the Solar Institute at Penn Medicine,
• 32:07
Speaker 12: and did a ton of practice and work and additional training.
• 32:14
Speaker 12: And it was really scary to tattoo somebody for the
• 32:17
Speaker 12: first time because I had never done it before. But
• 32:20
Speaker 12: I really was passionate about it, and I started later
• 32:24
Speaker 12: in life. I started doing this when I was almost
• 32:27
Speaker 12: fifty years old. So it just kind of goes to
• 32:31
Speaker 12: show that if you do have a passion and you
• 32:35
Speaker 12: want to make a change in your life in somebody
• 32:37
Speaker 12: else's life for the better, that if you really put
• 32:41
Speaker 12: your heart into it, you can do anything.
• 32:43
Speaker 3: Talking to begin with Marnie Rushtemeier. Now what goes into
• 32:46
Speaker 3: the process? How does this work?
• 32:48
Speaker 12: So the process starts with a consultation with the breast
• 32:52
Speaker 12: cancer survivor, and what I do is basically an evaluation
• 32:58
Speaker 12: of their individual situation. Are all different kinds of reconstructions
• 33:02
Speaker 12: that a patient can undergo. There is a deep flat reconstruction,
• 33:06
Speaker 12: there's implant reconstruction, there's flat reconstruction or static flat reconstruction.
• 33:11
Speaker 12: So it's important to be able to evaluate what the
• 33:15
Speaker 12: person's individual situation is. And the consultation lasts about thirty minutes.
• 33:21
Speaker 12: I review what we can do with their individual situation
• 33:26
Speaker 12: and go over the process from beginning to end. So
• 33:29
Speaker 12: it basically starts with a drawing where I feel like
• 33:32
Speaker 12: the placement would be best for the tattoos, and after
• 33:36
Speaker 12: I get their approval, I do some swatching on their
• 33:40
Speaker 12: skin to determine a color that matches their skin tone,
• 33:43
Speaker 12: and of course I run it by the patient to
• 33:45
Speaker 12: make sure that they're okay with this as well. I
• 33:47
Speaker 12: don't just take it upon myself put whatever I want
• 33:51
Speaker 12: on their body, So after they approve the design, I
• 33:54
Speaker 12: proceed with the tattooing. Most of the time, patients are
• 33:58
Speaker 12: concerned about pain comfort, but after you have the surgery,
• 34:02
Speaker 12: you typically don't feel anything. There have been a lot
• 34:06
Speaker 12: of medical advances where resensation is a great way for
• 34:12
Speaker 12: patients to feel something, and sometimes it does take a
• 34:15
Speaker 12: little bit longer for that feeling to come back after
• 34:18
Speaker 12: they have the surgery, but typically it doesn't hurt at all.
• 34:23
Speaker 12: And I do work with a topical anesthetic just in case.
• 34:26
Speaker 12: So when I'm finished, I have the look in the
• 34:29
Speaker 12: mirror they you know, they just make such a difference,
• 34:33
Speaker 12: and a lot of the times after they look at themselves,
• 34:37
  Speaker 12: it's a surprise because they're so used to seeing a
• 34:41
Speaker 12: blank slate and a reminder of everything that they went through.
• 34:46
Speaker 12: But after they have the tattoos, it's sort of like
• 34:49
  Speaker 12: a new beginning.
• 34:50
  Speaker 3: I guess I'm having a and I did, and I
• 34:53
Speaker 3: appreciate the research that you provided of the information you
• 34:56
Speaker 3: provided me in I guess when you say when you
• 34:58
Speaker 3: say tattooing, people may be listening already. You're getting some
• 35:01
Speaker 3: text here I'll read to you here. Moments the other
• 35:03
Speaker 3: people are thinking is this a traditional tattoo or I mean,
• 35:09
Speaker 3: what does that explain that a little bit for it.
• 35:11
Speaker 12: So people call them medical or paramedical tattoos, and it
• 35:17
Speaker 12: differs in from a traditional tattoo, and that a traditional
• 35:22
Speaker 12: tattoo is more like body art that you would put on,
• 35:27
Speaker 12: you know, a really colorful design.
• 35:29
Speaker 3: Or maybe something you're passionate about or something like that,
• 35:31
  Speaker 3: right right.
• 35:32
Speaker 12: So something else that's meaningful, and you may want to
• 35:35
Speaker 12: put it on your shoulder, arm or back. A restorative
• 35:40
Speaker 12: tattoo is something that we're highly specialized trained artists to
• 35:46
Speaker 12: work with compromise tissue. So oftentimes if a patient has
• 35:51
Speaker 12: a deep flapp reconstruction and the tissue is taken from
• 35:54
Speaker 12: their belly and put on, their breasts are created with
• 35:58
  Speaker 12: the tissue.
• 35:58
  Speaker 11: From their belly.
• 35:59
Speaker 12: They have stretch marks and they have scars. So what
• 36:03
Speaker 12: I do is create a beautiful work of art out
• 36:08
Speaker 12: of the reconstruction that I've presented with, and a lot
• 36:11
Speaker 12: of the body art tattoos don't deal with the compromise skin.
• 36:15
Speaker 12: It's on normal skin, right like an arm or a leg.
• 36:18
Speaker 12: So you really have to understand the different types of scars,
• 36:22
Speaker 12: skin type, the different modalities that you need to use
• 36:27
Speaker 12: in order to have a successful tattoo on this sort
• 36:30
  Speaker 12: of situation.
• 36:32
Speaker 3: Charged in with the Marty Rushmeyer a Dave Allen showing
• 36:34
Speaker 3: five Any Life brought to you apart by your holdingtown
• 36:36
Speaker 3: baseball team, the Charleston Dirty Birds. The big season kickoff
• 36:39
Speaker 3: party over to Ballpark is happening one week from tomorrow
• 36:43
Speaker 3: noon to six. Season tickets available, then all sorts of giveaways,
• 36:46
Speaker 3: free mini golf inflatables for the kids, picks with Dusty
• 36:49
Speaker 3: the mascot, and more and it's all free. For more
• 36:51
Speaker 3: information to visit the Dirty Birds Facebook page or Dirtybirds
• 36:54
Speaker 3: Baseball dot com. Let's talk about the time that it
• 36:57
Speaker 3: takes too. I mean, I know every medical proceped it's
• 37:00
Speaker 3: hard to put a time on it, but just on
• 37:02
Speaker 3: average from start to finish, what's the time frame.
• 37:06
  Speaker 13: Look like here?
• 37:07
Speaker 12: So from start to finish, it does depend on the
• 37:10
Speaker 12: specific type of surgery the patient has, but it's two sessions.
• 37:15
Speaker 12: So the first session is laying the foundation of the
• 37:20
Speaker 12: color and the you know, just making sure everything heals right.
• 37:26
Speaker 12: It takes about an hour and a half from start
• 37:28
Speaker 12: to finish, so the design, the color matching, and the
• 37:32
Speaker 12: actual tattooing and applying the aftercare that's about an hour
• 37:36
Speaker 12: to an hour and a half. The tattooing time takes
• 37:40
Speaker 12: me about thirty minutes. So a lot of it is
• 37:42
Speaker 12: working with the design because a lot of times people
• 37:44
Speaker 12: are asymmetrical and it takes more time to make sure
• 37:49
  Speaker 12: the placement's proper.
• 37:50
Speaker 3: Now where do you do this? I mean and physically,
• 37:53
Speaker 3: I mean right here in So I do it.
• 37:54
Speaker 11: Right here in Charleston, and I also do it in
• 37:56
  Speaker 11: New York.
• 37:57
Speaker 3: Okay, where's your facility in Charleston?
• 38:00
Speaker 12: I work at the Charleston Area Medical Center.
• 38:02
Speaker 3: Okay, in the sty Well, make sure we get to
• 38:04
Speaker 3: your contact information that because a lot of people may
• 38:07
Speaker 3: be interested. I have a texture for you. It says
• 38:09
Speaker 3: my father passed away from colal rectal cancer. My mother's
• 38:12
Speaker 3: oldest sister passed away from breast cancer, and her youngest
• 38:15
Speaker 3: sister had a double misseectomy after her diagnosis. Does my
• 38:19
Speaker 3: risk increase for both breast and coal and co electoral
• 38:22
Speaker 3: cancers or any type of cancer. Considering those two type
• 38:26
Speaker 3: of those different sides of my parents.
• 38:29
Speaker 12: Well, if you have a strong family history, it could
• 38:33
Speaker 12: mean that you have an increased risk of cancer. But
• 38:36
Speaker 12: I think that since they're different kinds of cancer. Yeah,
• 38:42
Speaker 12: you know, you may want to talk to a genetic
• 38:44
Speaker 12: counselor to see what best route to that's good for you.
• 38:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, we don't want to go given medical advice here.
• 38:51
Speaker 12: Right right, I mean for me personally, I saw I
• 38:54
Speaker 12: saw genetic counseling when I realized that I had a
• 38:58
Speaker 12: strong history of cancer in my family, ranging from breast
• 39:02
  Speaker 12: to brain cancer.
• 39:04
Speaker 11: My father actually ended up passing away of brain cancer.
• 39:08
Speaker 3: How many are there a lot of people that do
• 39:10
Speaker 3: this kind of work that you do across the country.
• 39:13
Speaker 12: Well, we're growing, which is good because we're able to
• 39:16
Speaker 12: make the service available for a lot more people. A
• 39:20
Speaker 12: long time ago, there were only a handful of people
• 39:22
Speaker 12: doing restorative tattooing. So I think it's a good thing
• 39:26
Speaker 12: that there are more artists out there and they're learning
• 39:28
Speaker 12: to do it the right way.
• 39:30
Speaker 3: And how long has this been a thing as far
• 39:32
Speaker 3: as this procedure, I mean, I know how long you've
• 39:34
Speaker 3: been involved in it, But how long has this been
• 39:36
Speaker 3: part of the It goes.
• 39:37
Speaker 12: Back fifteen twenty years that I'm aware of, and tattooing
• 39:41
Speaker 12: goes back even for hundreds of years.
• 39:44
Speaker 3: Yeah. Absolutely, I had no idea until you reached out
• 39:48
Speaker 3: to me, Marnie, that this was a thing. And you
• 39:50
Speaker 3: reached out to me, and I appreciate that because you said,
• 39:52
Speaker 3: I'd really like to come on to your show and
• 39:53
Speaker 3: talk about this. And when I first read it, I thought, Okay,
• 39:56
Speaker 3: what exactly am I reading here? And I would say
• 39:58
Speaker 3: you probably get that response from a lot of people
• 40:00
Speaker 3: until you take the time, as you did with me,
• 40:03
Speaker 3: and as you've done with the listeners today, to explain
• 40:05
Speaker 3: what it is that you do. What do you want
• 40:08
Speaker 3: the big takeaway to be here today?
• 40:11
Speaker 12: Well, I want to raise awareness that this is an
• 40:14
Speaker 12: important procedure that West Virginians should know that it's available
• 40:20
Speaker 12: to them. And I also want to let them know
• 40:24
Speaker 12: that I started a foundation called Restored after Breast Cancer,
• 40:29
Speaker 12: and I founded this after my experience with working with
• 40:36
Speaker 12: multiple situations and insurance companies and other foundations who have
• 40:42
Speaker 12: really strict income requirements in order to qualify. And I
• 40:46
Speaker 12: want to make the tattooing available and affordable to everyone, Okay,
• 40:52
Speaker 12: not only people that are in a certain income level.
• 40:55
Speaker 3: Because is this something that insurances will cover or.
• 40:58
  Speaker 11: Well, it's a struggle.
• 41:02
Speaker 3: I's going to say, that's another show for another time.
• 41:04
Speaker 12: Me and there are different insurances out there, and it
• 41:07
Speaker 12: depends on your level of coverage. It depends on what
• 41:10
Speaker 12: kind of insurance you have. They should cover it.
• 41:14
Speaker 3: But often they don't. They don't, they don't.
• 41:17
Speaker 12: And in those circumstances, I I usually direct the person,
• 41:22
Speaker 12: the patient to a foundation that I work with, and
• 41:27
Speaker 12: it's just become harder and harder to get the grants approved.
• 41:30
Speaker 12: So that's why I wanted to start my own foundation.
• 41:33
Speaker 3: Okay, where can people learn more about this? This is
• 41:35
Speaker 3: fascinating stuff and I know people are going to probably
• 41:38
Speaker 3: be reaching out to you. So where what's the best
• 41:40
Speaker 3: way to learn more? Give us your contact information?
• 41:42
Speaker 11: So my website is Mediinc l LLC dot com spelled
• 41:48
  Speaker 11: that for us, M E D I I N K
• 41:50
  Speaker 11: two I s okay I in k l C dot com.

• 42:35
Speaker 12: done by me. You can see me working, you can
• 42:38
Speaker 12: see the process, mixing colors, doing the drawing, telling more
• 42:43
Speaker 12: about my story, and also she tells about her story
• 42:47
Speaker 12: and just how complete she felt afterwards.
• 42:50
Speaker 3: All right, Martie, appreciate your reaching out to me. I
• 42:52
Speaker 3: appreciate you coming in the studio to talk about this

  Speaker 3: this morning.

• 45:27
Speaker 6: Good morning, sir, Good morning Dave. It's great to be
• 45:32
Speaker 6: with you, and thanks for putting that plug out right
• 45:34
  Speaker 6: up front.
• 45:35
Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, absolutely all right, So talk about what this.
• 45:39
Speaker 3: I know you guys do this every year, and I
• 45:40
Speaker 3: love the name Winter Blues. We'll talk about that. A
• 45:42
Speaker 3: little bit later on. But what all goes on here tomorrow, sir.
• 45:47
Speaker 6: Well, it's our sixteenth year of doing the Winter Blues Market.
• 45:52
Speaker 6: There's going to be one hundred and twenty vendors of
• 45:55
Speaker 6: farmers and Niagra businesses from all over West Virginia. I
• 46:00
Speaker 6: need in the West Virginia Grown program, and they were
• 46:04
Speaker 6: going to be set up at the convention center and
• 46:06
Speaker 6: they were going to be selling their wares. It's a
• 46:08
Speaker 6: free event. It's a family event. Come out, buy the
• 46:13
Speaker 6: products from these farmers and get know your farmer, know
• 46:17
Speaker 6: your food. It will be a great day and everybody
• 46:20
Speaker 6: has an awful lot of fun doing it.
• 46:22
Speaker 3: It always is. And I want to ask you about,
• 46:24
Speaker 3: you know, Winter Blues because this has been a winner
• 46:28
Speaker 3: that we'll be talking about for some time, a little
• 46:30
Speaker 3: bit more harsh than what the other winters have been
• 46:32
Speaker 3: in previous years from an agricultural standpoint, though we know
• 46:36
Speaker 3: we had the drought and everything last year. How was
• 46:38
Speaker 3: this winner for the ag World Commissioner.
• 46:42
Speaker 6: Well, they're recovering from the drought, so that you know,
• 46:46
Speaker 6: it just it's just very difficult for the farmers these days.
• 46:49
Speaker 6: You know, we've had you know, we went through this
• 46:52
Speaker 6: COVID thing, and then we went through this Avian influenza
• 46:55
Speaker 6: and the poultry farmers or having to be on guard
• 46:57
Speaker 6: and practicing more and more biosecurity. And now we're ending
• 47:02
Speaker 6: up with this winter and the harshness and all the
• 47:06
Speaker 6: rains and some of the floods that are devastating some folks.
• 47:10
Speaker 6: But the winter blues the times of people to come
• 47:14
Speaker 6: together see their friends and families, see their neighbors, like
• 47:18
Speaker 6: the old time markets when our state was first formed,
• 47:22
Speaker 6: and people can just come out and get to know
• 47:24
Speaker 6: their farmers and get those goods that they really will enjoy.
• 47:28
Speaker 6: And we know that it's fresh and buying locals healthier.
• 47:31
  Speaker 16: It is.
• 47:31
Speaker 3: Indeed, again we're talking to State Agriculture Commission Can't Lee
• 47:34
Speaker 3: and Hart and again if you want to put those
• 47:36
Speaker 3: winter blues behind you, that's the whole idea behind this.
• 47:38
Speaker 3: Weather's going to be great, a little bit on the
• 47:40
Speaker 3: cool side, but it is still technically winter. Great time
• 47:43
Speaker 3: to come down to the Connellseema Convention Center tomorrow to
• 47:45
Speaker 3: take in all the stuff that they have, and I
• 47:47
Speaker 3: love it. It's absolutely free of charge for the people.
• 47:51
Speaker 6: Yes, free. It's from twelve to five the vendors will
• 47:55
Speaker 6: be sitting up in the morning. We do this in
• 47:56
Speaker 6: conjunction with our Small Farms Conference, where I love our
• 47:59
Speaker 6: farms coming together and learn and share experiences and ideas
• 48:03
Speaker 6: on how to make their farms more profitable, because that's
• 48:06
Speaker 6: one of the toughest businesses, but it's also one of
• 48:09
Speaker 6: the most important businesses in our nation, because we all
• 48:13
Speaker 6: have to eat three times a day or we'd like
• 48:15
  Speaker 6: to eat.
• 48:15
Speaker 3: Yeah, or some of us more. All right, can't lie
• 48:19
Speaker 3: and heart the State Agriculture Commissioner again. Winter Blues is
• 48:22
Speaker 3: happening tomorrow at the Conloseum and Convention Center. Starts at noon.
• 48:24
Speaker 3: Is that right, sir?
• 48:26
Speaker 6: That's right, starts at noon, and there'll be a lot
• 48:29
Speaker 6: of meat products, convent infections, honey, maple syrup, different cottage
• 48:36
Speaker 6: foods from our small processors. It'll be an awesome time.
• 48:39
Speaker 3: All right, we'll see you there tomorrow. I appreciate you
• 48:41
Speaker 3: being here, Sarah, thanks a.
• 48:42
Speaker 6: Lot, thanks for having us.
• 48:44
Speaker 3: All right, can't Leonhart say the Agriculture commission winner. Blues
• 48:47
Speaker 3: Farmers Market happening today over the Conloseum. I'm sorry. Tomorrow, Tomorrow, tomorrow,
• 48:51
Speaker 3: that's tomorrow, the day after today tomorrow starting at noon
• 48:54
Speaker 3: at the Conloseum and Convention Center. TJ Meadows is with
• 48:57
Speaker 3: this right now. I saw you light up when he
• 48:59
Speaker 3: said me like yeah, yeah, but the Ron Swanson and
• 49:03
Speaker 3: me just you know, give me a big steak, serious
• 49:06
Speaker 3: biz though, you and your TJ, You and Wilson did
• 49:11
Speaker 3: a show down to Talk one yesterday live from the
• 49:14
Speaker 3: Welsh Armory. I get to hear a great deal of
• 49:15
Speaker 3: the show. Great show, by the way. Wish she didn't
• 49:18
Speaker 3: have to be there, if you know what I mean too,
• 49:20
Speaker 3: would rather have had you in the capitol. Your takeaway
• 49:24
Speaker 3: from your visit and your day in Welchester. The resilience
• 49:29
Speaker 3: of the people there is remarkable. I think many people
• 49:34
Speaker 3: would pack up and call it a day and leave
• 49:35
Speaker 3: the area and shut it down completely. The mud is
• 49:39
Speaker 3: beyond thick. It's everywhere four to six inches. The water
• 49:43
Speaker 3: I think got his high as thirty one feet in
• 49:45
Speaker 3: the river is what we were told. Homes are completely gutted,
• 49:48
Speaker 3: belongings that are now completely useless, strawn throughout the lawns
• 49:54
Speaker 3: and the fence lines waiting to be picked up. You
• 49:59
Speaker 3: can't see the still in many places because of the
• 50:01
Speaker 3: mud and you have baccos and bobcats and different things
• 50:05
Speaker 3: out trying to clear it. You've got the National Guard
• 50:07
Speaker 3: going throughout the town to try to pick up as
• 50:09
Speaker 3: best they can as things are being thrown away. Three
• 50:12
Speaker 3: young boys were walking down McDowell Street yesterday. I snapped
• 50:15
Speaker 3: a picture of them. These are kids that I would
• 50:18
Speaker 3: think would be heading to play basketball or do something
• 50:20
Speaker 3: on a nice day like it was yesterday. They all
• 50:21
Speaker 3: had squeeges and mops in their hands and the rain
• 50:23
Speaker 3: boots on and they're just going down the sidewalk trying
• 50:25
Speaker 3: to make it so something the West Virginia does it not.
• 50:28
Speaker 17: It says a lot.
• 50:29
Speaker 3: And that's one of the reasons why, you know, you
• 50:31
Speaker 3: guys wanted to go down there, and you were there
• 50:34
Speaker 3: as reporters, of course, but you were more there, I think,
• 50:37
Speaker 3: to tell the stories of the people, and you did
• 50:41
Speaker 3: a great job of it. And the people, the county
• 50:43
Speaker 3: commissioners that their restaurant owners, the health department, whomever, the
• 50:46
Speaker 3: school superintendent, people that you had there, and I know
• 50:50
Speaker 3: you've got some remarkable stories.
• 50:51
  Speaker 2: We did.
• 50:52
Speaker 17: We talked to the school superintendent. She told us of
• 50:55
Speaker 17: many school system employees who have multiple issues at home.
• 51:00
  Speaker 3: Mud water.
• 51:01
Speaker 17: They need to muck out everything they need to do
• 51:02
Speaker 17: with their own home, yet that is left untouched because
• 51:06
Speaker 17: they are in the schools working four five, six hours
• 51:08
Speaker 17: a day, try to provide meals. Kids still need to eat,
• 51:11
Speaker 17: and minus the school, many of those children wouldn't eat.
• 51:13
Speaker 17: People need a place to stay. So you've got folks
• 51:16
Speaker 17: that have their own issues that they should focus on,
• 51:20
Speaker 17: need to focus on, and yet they put that aside
• 51:22
Speaker 17: and they're in the school system working. You talk about
• 51:25
Speaker 17: business owners that have lost everything and have to start over,
• 51:29
Speaker 17: one of which had no flood insurance, and her attitude
• 51:33
Speaker 17: is I'll figure it out, I'll make a way.
• 51:35
Speaker 3: All right, good stuff there yesterday. What do we got
• 51:37
Speaker 3: on today's show, sir.
• 51:38
Speaker 17: So coming up at ten oh six, we'll talk with
• 51:40
Speaker 17: Brad mclahaney. We'll get back to the legislature, find out
• 51:43
Speaker 17: what went on there yesterday. Ten thirty three. It's Hoppy
• 51:46
Speaker 17: Thursday on a Friday. He's talking about his chainsaw. We'll
• 51:49
Speaker 17: get into that. I know, right, we'll get into that.
• 51:52
Speaker 3: Hoppy has a chainsaw.
• 51:53
Speaker 17: Apparently, or he thinks most West Virginians do.
• 51:55
Speaker 3: Okay, we'll get into that. Chris Steier Wall.
• 51:57
Speaker 17: To eleven oh six, and then of course thirty It
• 52:00
Speaker 17: is Steam really always popular Steam.
• 52:02
Speaker 3: Rely, yes, sir, and I'm going to be interested to
• 52:04
Speaker 3: hear about that. We didn't get into it, but that
• 52:06
Speaker 3: exchange that happened yesterday with Rucker and with Rose and
• 52:10
Speaker 3: the teacher from Nitro. You guys are gonna get into
• 52:12
  Speaker 3: that today.
• 52:12
  Speaker 10: We are.
• 52:13
Speaker 3: And as you might imagine, I have an opinion of come,
• 52:15
Speaker 3: what are the odds you're like me? All right? DJ
• 52:18
Speaker 3: and Dave Wilson coming up with talk line at ten
