- 0:00Speaker 1: Who owns the next generation of investors?
- 0:04Speaker 2: The last time Vlad came on Market Mondays, I threw
- 0:10Speaker 2: out a question of how soon before you introduce agentic
- 0:14Speaker 2: AI into trading? And he said, oh, no, we haven't
- 0:17Speaker 2: looked at it. But even in the interview when he
- 0:20Speaker 2: smirked a little bit, that was a tell. I know
- 0:23Speaker 2: they are known for crypto, but I look at Robinhood
- 0:27Speaker 2: as Bloomberg for retail traders. And if you can now, like,
- 0:33Speaker 2: I love the developments. The summit was just in Houston.
- 0:37Speaker 2: So I got a lot of feedback of what was
- 0:39Speaker 2: going on, but even the development there has been tremendous.
- 0:44Speaker 2: But the agentic trading suite that they are going to
- 0:47Speaker 2: offer over the next couple of years, I think is
- 0:49Speaker 2: going to separate them for sure from Coinbase and the
- 0:54Speaker 2: predictions market. Like they are really a predictions market. derivatives
- 0:59Speaker 2: company that is almost second to none in terms of innovation.
- 1:03Speaker 2: So if I had to pick one, for sure, not
- 1:05Speaker 2: just because of our relationship, but I love from a
- 1:07Speaker 2: trader's standpoint what you can do there, I'm picking Robinhood
- 1:09Speaker 2: all day. What about you, Trevor?
- 1:11Speaker 3: I don't think it's a fair comparison because Robinhood does
- 1:15Speaker 3: what Coinbase does, essentially. I know as far as the ownership,
- 1:18Speaker 3: but you don't own your crypto on Coinbase anyway, but
- 1:20Speaker 3: for the crypto purists, I know it's... But Robinhood does
- 1:23Speaker 3: what Coinbase does.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Better. It does.
- 1:27Speaker 3: five other things that Coinbase does not do. So it's
- 1:30Speaker 3: in stocks. It's in the prediction market. It has an
- 1:33Speaker 3: AI agent now that can trade stocks for you. It's
- 1:36Speaker 3: going to be open 24 hours for stock trading. You
- 1:39Speaker 3: can buy gold. There's so many different things that Robinhood does.
- 1:43Speaker 3: It's a whole entire ecosystem when Coinbase is for cryptocurrency
- 1:47Speaker 3: and 90% of the cryptocurrency is stupid and useless. So, yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 3: I think that it's just not even... It's not even
- 1:57Speaker 3: a fair comparison because Robinhood does so. Robinhood is a
- 2:00Speaker 3: supermarket and Coinbase is a corner store.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Troy, what are your thoughts?
- 2:06Speaker 1: I've always been Robinhood. We call it the hood.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I've been in the hood for a long time and
- 2:11Speaker 4: we watch this. I think if we go back to
- 2:13Speaker 4: our companies of the year in December to watch in 2026. Yeah,
- 2:18Speaker 4: we both had them in there. This was on the
- 2:22Speaker 4: list and at that time it was trading.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Maybe yes. $ 72.
- 2:25Speaker 4: I know we got down to $ 67 and we bought
- 2:27Speaker 4: some calls there at $ 70.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Yeah, big on Robinhood.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Outside of the options market that has done well for them,
- 2:35Speaker 4: the prediction market, I mean, and Vlad told us this too,
- 2:38Speaker 4: he's like, look, it has changed everything. The prediction market,
- 2:42Speaker 4: I mean, 300% growth? And that's not going to slow down.
- 2:49Speaker 1: But yeah, I think you're right.
- 2:51Speaker 4: The plethora of things that they can do and the
- 2:55Speaker 4: opportunities that they present for the retail investors. Like I said,
- 2:58Speaker 4: I would say 90% of the people, especially young people,
- 3:01Speaker 4: when we ask them, like, do you have a brokerage account?
- 3:04Speaker 1: That's the company that they're saying.
- 3:05Speaker 4: And it's not, there's not, I can't even tell you
- 3:07Speaker 4: what number two is because everybody has, this is their entry.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Like I have Rappahood and they've made.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Their suite of products pretty accessible to all traders, really, right?
- 3:17Speaker 1: Even if you're a veteran, their products are really good.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Their products are really good.
- 3:22Speaker 4: So in terms of the next generation, I know most
- 3:25Speaker 4: millennials will say, hey, I have Bitcoin. And if there
- 3:29Speaker 4: is a brokerage that I'm using, a lot of times
- 3:30Speaker 4: it is Coinbase. But it just doesn't have the amount
- 3:34Speaker 4: of verticals that Robinhood presents. So I definitely got to
- 3:39Speaker 4: go with them.
- 3:40Speaker 2: And even on the future side, I'm not switching the
- 3:42Speaker 2: platforms that I use. But their future side and that
- 3:45Speaker 2: pricing ladder that we saw at the conference, it was
- 3:48Speaker 2: great on demo. And it's only gotten better since then.
- 3:51Speaker 2: So for them to be able to dominate prediction markets, options, futures,
- 3:56Speaker 2: it's a hard company to short. It's a mistake to
- 4:01Speaker 2: short this company.
- 4:02Speaker 1: This is a toss-up.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Now, some companies are aligned, and then there's one and
- 4:09Speaker 4: two in the space.
- 4:10Speaker 1: We're talking about cybersecurity on this one. CrowdStrike and Palo Alto.
- 4:16Speaker 1: This is one and two. This is one and two now.
- 4:19Speaker 2: It's like splitting hairs, man. Um, I, I really like both.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I'm not going to do my both answer. If I
- 4:27Speaker 2: have to pick just off top of my head, I'm
- 4:28Speaker 2: going to lean towards crowd strike, but you cannot go
- 4:32Speaker 2: wrong with either. Um, profit margins. Amazing. Definitely both are needed. Um,
- 4:40Speaker 2: given the landscape that we're in, especially with the influx
- 4:42Speaker 2: of AI and agentic stuff, that's going to happen over
- 4:44Speaker 2: the next four or five years. Um, But I think
- 4:48Speaker 2: Crowd is an amazing company. Personally hold it, like it
- 4:53Speaker 2: a lot. I hope Paula Esho as well. But I
- 4:57Speaker 2: really just like CrowdStrike a lot better.
- 5:02Speaker 4: I'm a firm believer of investing in the top two.
- 5:04Speaker 4: That may come as a surprise. And CrowdStrike has been
- 5:08Speaker 4: the one in cybersecurity. I'll tell you one thing that
- 5:11Speaker 4: has caught my attention recently. And that is Jensen Wang
- 5:15Speaker 4: saying that Paolo Alto is the cybersecurity of the future.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Hey.
- 5:20Speaker 4: He, you know, he alludes to its vast array of
- 5:26Speaker 4: products for enterprise.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And when I hear him talk like that. Yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 2: You know, it's interesting.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I got to, I got to start paying attention a
- 5:36Speaker 1: little bit more.
- 5:36Speaker 4: So I probably will, you know, have a position in
- 5:39Speaker 4: Paolo Alto been long on CrowdStrike for years. It reminded
- 5:43Speaker 4: me of Doug McDermott and ServiceNow when they were getting
- 5:46Speaker 4: beat up. And Jensen said, no, this is going to
- 5:48Speaker 4: be the sole application of the future. I was like,
- 5:51Speaker 4: all right, let me go research this. And lo and behold,
- 5:53Speaker 4: you saw a return here. But yeah, I think both
- 5:57Speaker 4: are great. I'm leaning CrowdStrike. But Palo Alto might be
- 6:03Speaker 4: adding a portfolio shortly.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Rashard, to you really quick, I would say they're like
- 6:07Speaker 2: Apple and Microsoft in the early 2000s or mid-2000s. Can't
- 6:11Speaker 2: go wrong with either. I think they're going to serve
- 6:12Speaker 2: different demographics. CrowdStrike's recurring revenue grew 51% to $ 332 million.
- 6:19Speaker 2: So I like CrowdStrike, but I think it's the Mac
- 6:22Speaker 2: versus PC debate all over again. Rashad, who do you have?
- 6:26Speaker 3: I have a vested interest in CrowdStrike. So for all
- 6:29Speaker 3: intents and purposes, that's... The Jensen move?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. Move the markets.
- 6:37Speaker 3: LeBron James reportedly will be paid four times more from
- 6:42Speaker 3: Polymarket than he's from 76ers this year.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Speaking about prediction markets.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Yeah. That's interesting. Can that be on the topic?
- 6:53Speaker 2: For sure.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Just like a detour really quickly.
- 7:00Speaker 4: We've had conversations about this internally, just about that brand
- 7:04Speaker 4: and athletes aligning with them. But we did see an
- 7:06Speaker 4: athlete recently who said I would never do that. So
- 7:10Speaker 4: I'm interested to hear the take on that.
- 7:12Speaker 5: And no disrespect to Polymarket, by the way.
- 7:14Speaker 1: No.
- 7:15Speaker 3: But I'm just reporting the facts. And Wimbyamba, yeah. Yeah,
- 7:18Speaker 3: we can talk about it on the back out. I
- 7:19Speaker 3: think it's worth talking about. We can have a conversation
- 7:21Speaker 3: about if a pro athlete has any moral obligation when
- 7:26Speaker 3: it comes to aligning themselves with either gambling companies or
- 7:30Speaker 3: prediction market companies, especially if money has already has no
- 7:35Speaker 3: longer been an object.
- 7:38Speaker 5: But then again, they said a billion is not what
- 7:40Speaker 5: it used to be.
- 7:41Speaker 1: What about three? Still.
- 7:46Speaker 2: And do you think Wim be lying?
- 7:48Speaker 5: No, I don't think he's lying.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yeah, he sounded pretty sincere when he talked.
- 7:52Speaker 5: I don't think he's lying.
- 7:53Speaker 3: But then also, people, you know, people's Views on things
- 7:58Speaker 3: change over time.
- 7:59Speaker 1: That's true.
- 8:01Speaker 4: In the press conference, you can listen to his point
- 8:04Speaker 4: of view change. He said, there were things that I
- 8:06Speaker 4: was asked to do in my first few years that
- 8:09Speaker 4: I did because I thought I needed more income at
- 8:12Speaker 4: this point.
- 8:12Speaker 5: In my life.
- 8:13Speaker 1: And this is just a short amount of time, less
- 8:14Speaker 1: than five years.
- 8:15Speaker 4: He's looking at it like that doesn't actually align with
- 8:18Speaker 4: what I need in my life or what I want
- 8:19Speaker 4: to do or the message I want to portray.
- 8:21Speaker 5: I think Kevin Durant's response is interesting.
- 8:24Speaker 2: For sure. And we can have a conversation, maybe not now,
- 8:28Speaker 2: maybe Wednesday, but is it more dangerous to promote the
- 8:31Speaker 2: gambling or to promote the consumer packaged goods that leads
- 8:34Speaker 2: to diabetes? Yeah, that's way more.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Double negative.
- 8:42Speaker 4: Let's go with this. This is this last one here.
- 8:46Speaker 4: And this is in the AI infrastructure, specifically in cooling.
- 8:50Speaker 4: One of my companies that I've been here on for
- 8:53Speaker 4: at least two or three years, Shout out to everybody
- 8:55Speaker 4: that was in our mastermind. We talked about this one.
- 8:58Speaker 4: I think this is in 2025, January?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Vertiv or Eaton.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Tickets VRT and ETN. Which power and cooling stock do
- 9:08Speaker 4: you trust with your money?
- 9:11Speaker 2: Man, this is another tough one. Both are phenomenal. But
- 9:16Speaker 2: if I have to give a quick answer, I'm going
- 9:19Speaker 2: to lean with Vertiv. Like them a lot. you can't
- 9:25Speaker 2: really go wrong with either. If you hold them for
- 9:28Speaker 2: a long period of time, um, free cash flow margin
- 9:32Speaker 2: is 25.9%. Gross margin is 38. Net margin is 15
- 9:37Speaker 2: solid company. I like the performance of the company. Um,
- 9:43Speaker 2: price wise, if it falls back to two 33 51,
- 9:46Speaker 2: I like it. Um, But yeah, I'm going to lean
- 9:55Speaker 2: on Vertiv for sure. What about you?
- 10:00Speaker 4: I'm a huge, huge proponent of liquid cooling and Vertiv
- 10:06Speaker 4: is leading.
- 10:07Speaker 1: And this is sometimes just paying attention and being aware
- 10:09Speaker 1: of your surroundings. When we had.
- 10:11Speaker 4: The privilege of going to GTC a few years ago
- 10:16Speaker 4: and we went in the display hall And I just
- 10:19Speaker 4: kind of looked around at companies that had the largest activations.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I still have the pictures. I took the picture. It
- 10:26Speaker 1: was Micron. I'm like, all right, cool. We already know
- 10:29Speaker 1: that that's going to be a player. We're here.
- 10:30Speaker 4: I looked to my left. I said, oh, here goes Supermicro.
- 10:34Speaker 4: They've had some issues. And then it was Vertiv. And
- 10:38Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, cool. I've been studying that company. Let
- 10:40Speaker 4: me go over there and talk to them about what
- 10:42Speaker 4: they're doing. And then to actually be in NVIDIA and
- 10:45Speaker 4: see what a rack looks like, see where the memories place,
- 10:48Speaker 4: see where GPUs place, but see what keeps this all together.
- 10:51Speaker 1: And that was the liquid cooling. Why is it important?
- 10:53Speaker 4: Because these chips have to be relegated at a certain
- 10:57Speaker 4: temperature and it can't be off by like a degree.
- 11:00Speaker 4: It has to be extremely precise. So each plate has
- 11:04Speaker 4: a liquid cooling, more demand, more racks, more liquid cooling.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Ian's a good company.
- 11:10Speaker 4: They actually do, you know, they sell electronic equipment for
- 11:13Speaker 4: data centers. So that demand will keep going.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Both are good.
- 11:16Speaker 4: I think they're both are needed. I just see Vertiv
- 11:19Speaker 4: with the companies that they have now partnered with. And
- 11:22Speaker 4: that's always one of my telltale signs, find out which
- 11:25Speaker 4: hyperscalers they're working with. The fact that the NVIDIA is
- 11:28Speaker 4: one of their leads is a good sign for me
- 11:30Speaker 4: going into the future until we hear something in technology
- 11:33Speaker 4: that changes that.
- 11:34Speaker 1: And what do I mean by that?
- 11:36Speaker 4: Like a year ago, Microsoft said, Hey, liquid cooling is
- 11:38Speaker 4: going to be an issue. We know what Vertiv does
- 11:41Speaker 4: rather than having their, piping come through the actual GPU,
- 11:46Speaker 4: they're building GPUs that have cooling on them.
- 11:48Speaker 1: So that was preliminary stages.
- 11:50Speaker 4: They haven't had a prototype built yet, but that type
- 11:52Speaker 4: of talk, you just got to pay attention to.
- 11:54Speaker 2: So for now, right now. For now, yeah, that's a
- 11:57Speaker 2: good point. In this moment. Yeah, in this moment.
