- 0:00Speaker 1: Blockchain and the government. Today, we'll be breaking down some
- 0:02Speaker 1: White House winners that are all revealed today. It's going
- 0:05Speaker 1: to be a good woman. Name is Paul Bartt. We'll
- 0:07Speaker 1: come back into the show. Let's get started. I want
- 0:10Speaker 1: to kind of introduce something to you guys, and we've
- 0:12Speaker 1: kind of been talking about this a little bit, and
- 0:14Speaker 1: that is the launch of the Paul Baron Network website.
- 0:18Speaker 1: This is a brand new site that we've completely refactored
- 0:21Speaker 1: in all of our programs and of course the biggest
- 0:24Speaker 1: one that you guys can be a part of is
- 0:26Speaker 1: the Diamond Circle. All you have to do is just
- 0:28Speaker 1: go over to paulbarnetwork dot com, click the link down
- 0:30Speaker 1: below you'll hit and land on.
- 0:32Speaker 2: This page right here.
- 0:34Speaker 1: This is where you guys can get all the edge
- 0:36Speaker 1: on what we're doing, including our Market Edge newsletter. That's
- 0:39Speaker 1: one of the big ones. We do, curated intelligence men
- 0:42Speaker 1: kind of the best videos and podcasts that we put out.
- 0:45Speaker 2: All that is sent to you guys, so you can keep.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Up with what's going on in this bull run and guys,
- 0:50Speaker 1: trust me, there is going to be a lot happening
- 0:53Speaker 1: very very quickly. Let's get into this first story, right
- 0:56Speaker 1: here if you missed eth.
- 0:57Speaker 2: At around fourteen hundred.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Everybody's kind of a little bit sour on that issue
- 1:00Speaker 1: because eight, of course is now running up to around
- 1:02Speaker 1: five k.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Solana might be the next big bet.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I know you're probably saying away, Paul, Solana is over
- 1:08Speaker 1: two hundred bucks.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Right now, why would we go there.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Well, there's a lot of things happening within the Salana ecosystem,
- 1:13Speaker 1: and we're going to break that down for you. But
- 1:16Speaker 1: one of the biggest things that is happening right now
- 1:18Speaker 1: is on Capitol Hill, and that is the US Commerce
- 1:21Speaker 1: Department begins it's distributing of GDP data on open source blockchains,
- 1:25Speaker 1: including Bitcoin E Salana, initially targeting nine blockchains on the
- 1:30Speaker 1: Bloomberg Report. These blockchains right now consist of and this
- 1:35Speaker 1: is primarily for publishing data out there, So it's not
- 1:39Speaker 1: for payments and all that, because everybody's going to ask
- 1:41Speaker 1: about XRP, but this is all about publishing data e Bitcoin, Salona, Tron, Stellar, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Polygon,
- 1:49Speaker 1: and Optimism all being able to identify coming in. And
- 1:52Speaker 1: then of course they also used data through chain link
- 1:55Speaker 1: and PITH and that's an important thing because I'll get
- 1:59Speaker 1: into some d detail on why that's a good thing.
- 2:02Speaker 1: The reason that I think this is positive is it's
- 2:04Speaker 1: really more of an awareness thing because remember this technology
- 2:08Speaker 1: is still very new. If you talk to blockchain to
- 2:11Speaker 1: most people, it's like you're talking about the Internet in
- 2:13Speaker 1: nineteen ninety nine.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Most people were.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Not really using it yet just yet, and not really
- 2:18Speaker 1: understanding what it was going to be able to do.
- 2:20Speaker 1: This is a thing that will transition the technology going forward.
- 2:23Speaker 1: US Department of Commerce partners now with chain Link to
- 2:26Speaker 1: bring government macroeconomic data on chain. This is another big
- 2:29Speaker 1: deal because remember that Trueflation is built by the team
- 2:33Speaker 1: behind chain Link, and when you think about the current
- 2:38Speaker 1: trueflation data and what Trueflation has been reporting for quite
- 2:42Speaker 1: some time, it appears that the data economic data has
- 2:47Speaker 1: been accurate coming out of that area of analysis versus
- 2:52Speaker 1: what we've been seeing just with the traditional method, which
- 2:55Speaker 1: has been a very old method of how the FED
- 2:57Speaker 1: collects data on inflation. And this was just showing the
- 3:01Speaker 1: chain link process of the US Department of Commerce, chain
- 3:04Speaker 1: Link and pretty much any blockchain out there, so we'll
- 3:06Speaker 1: be able to really interface with everyone. And then if
- 3:09Speaker 1: you look at trueflation, remember we're at only two percent
- 3:12Speaker 1: right now on trueflation. So in reality, Chair Powell has
- 3:17Speaker 1: already achieved his moderate inflation number if he was using
- 3:22Speaker 1: accurate data, of which he is not. This is the
- 3:25Speaker 1: thing I argue about jobs. It's the thing I argue
- 3:27Speaker 1: about the inflation data that's being used. Maybe all that
- 3:31Speaker 1: will change with the blockchain becoming much more transparent. On that,
- 3:35Speaker 1: another note that I want to get to was in Vidia,
- 3:37Speaker 1: because this is a very important stock. Let me kind
- 3:39Speaker 1: of zoom in on that their Q two earnings were
- 3:42Speaker 1: pretty hot in comparison. What was interesting to me is
- 3:46Speaker 1: that the expectations is very high, and I always wondered,
- 3:50Speaker 1: why are the expectations so high on in Nvidia even
- 3:54Speaker 1: though they're outperforming every quarter And you can kind of
- 3:57Speaker 1: see it their revenues right there, that income fifty nine
- 4:00Speaker 1: percent year over year, seventy two percent gross margins, that's
- 4:03Speaker 1: a plus twenty quarter over quarter, sixty billion in buybacks,
- 4:07Speaker 1: fifty four billion in revenue guide guidance on Q three,
- 4:11Speaker 1: all of this very positive, and then I realize, oh,
- 4:15Speaker 1: if geopolitical issues subside, in Vidia could actually ship another
- 4:19Speaker 1: two billion to five billion H twenty chips to China
- 4:23Speaker 1: next quarter. That is insane, and that would put in
- 4:27Speaker 1: Vidia at a five trillion dollar company. This is the
- 4:31Speaker 1: kind of growth that will most likely propel the stock
- 4:35Speaker 1: market to continue its growth going forward. And of course,
- 4:39Speaker 1: with AI all playing into that, you've got to think
- 4:41Speaker 1: about how AI and blockchain technology is starting to culminate
- 4:46Speaker 1: into one big initiative.
- 4:48Speaker 2: One of course, is around Google.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Google Cloud just launched its own blockchain and it could
- 4:53Speaker 1: reshape global payments. Now, I know that's a big statement.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I want to remind everyone, those of you who are
- 5:01Speaker 1: maybe haven't been in the game that long in terms
- 5:03Speaker 1: of technology, this is the list of items that Google
- 5:07Speaker 1: has failed at.
- 5:08Speaker 2: And i'll kind of zoom in on this.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Remember Google Reader that was the RSS feed everybody used
- 5:13Speaker 1: to love that.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It's gone.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Google Plus that was a social network it was trying
- 5:17Speaker 1: to rival Facebook. Google Talk that's gone, Google Hangouts is gone,
- 5:21Speaker 1: Wave gone health gone glass gone. Do you guys remember
- 5:24Speaker 1: the glass that's kind of like the meta glasses now,
- 5:27Speaker 1: but it was like this goofy looking glass that would
- 5:29Speaker 1: record everything. Yeah, all of those were gone and then
- 5:32Speaker 1: they discontinued products. And this was as early as back
- 5:35Speaker 1: in twenty three and twenty four. Did you even know
- 5:38Speaker 1: that Google had a VPN. That's because nobody's using it.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I don't know if they don't trust them what the
- 5:43Speaker 1: deal is. But the point being is that if blockchain
- 5:47Speaker 1: goes this way, that could be another failed product. So
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'm not really totally positive on it yet. Until I
- 5:53Speaker 1: see something come out on it, change my mind, Google,
- 5:56Speaker 1: and I'll be happy to look at it. I also
- 5:58Speaker 1: want to thank our sponsor today and that is Coinbase.
- 6:01Speaker 1: You guys can go over and get into crypto for
- 6:03Speaker 1: the very first time. And I know there's a lot
- 6:04Speaker 1: of you right now that are entering crypto. You're watching
- 6:07Speaker 1: the stock market, you're trying to figure out you're listening
- 6:10Speaker 1: to all these analysts talk about we missed bitcoin, we
- 6:12Speaker 1: should have just bought bitcoin. Well, you can do that
- 6:15Speaker 1: right there on coin base dot com. And the way
- 6:17Speaker 1: you do it is sign up for an account using
- 6:19Speaker 1: our link. It's going to give you up to two
- 6:21Speaker 1: hundred bucks in crypto just to get started to make
- 6:25Speaker 1: your first trade.
- 6:25Speaker 2: So check it out.
- 6:26Speaker 1: You guys deserve it. Let's get into another clip here.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I want to lead off with this one because this
- 6:32Speaker 1: is where it gets interesting. On disconnecting fundamentals and sentiment
- 6:38Speaker 1: in the market.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Take a look one of there.
- 6:41Speaker 3: You know, never forget stock price. Don't care about what's
- 6:44Speaker 3: happened in the past. They only care about the future.
- 6:47Speaker 3: And I think, and certainly the AI sentiment and the
- 6:52Speaker 3: very large companies in the SMP that are very much
- 6:57Speaker 3: focused on this, that's where the best earnings are visions
- 7:00Speaker 3: are coming. So I think the stock market is acting
- 7:04Speaker 3: very rational here in terms of rewarding the best fundamentals,
- 7:09Speaker 3: and the best fundamentals seem to be in these very
- 7:12Speaker 3: very large companies. And so I am surprised that sentiment
- 7:19Speaker 3: is not higher than it is currently because corporate earnings
- 7:23Speaker 3: have come in very strong this year, and estimates should
- 7:28Speaker 3: be being raised across the board and for the S
- 7:31Speaker 3: and P, and yet you know, they haven't. That suggests
- 7:35Speaker 3: to me that there's a dislocation between sentiment and fundamentals.
- 7:41Speaker 3: It's very surprising to me that there's more bears than bulls.
- 7:45Speaker 3: We're at two and a half years, We've had twenty
- 7:47Speaker 3: twenty three, twenty twenty four, now a good year again,
- 7:51Speaker 3: Why aren't people more optimistic? They should be.
- 7:53Speaker 2: That's the norm, all right, and that is the norm.
- 7:57Speaker 2: It is people should be optimistic and it is a
- 8:00Speaker 2: curious situation.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Right now where we've seen so much money setting on
- 8:04Speaker 1: the sidelines that hasn't really activated, and we've also seen
- 8:08Speaker 1: very early movement. But I want you guys to remember
- 8:11Speaker 1: there are a lot of strategic plays that are going
- 8:13Speaker 1: along in the market right now. One of which that
- 8:18Speaker 1: is interesting is this institutional move that has been done
- 8:21Speaker 1: by Kathy Wood. This was a tweet done by my favorite,
- 8:24Speaker 1: my new favorite Twitter account, which is the Tom Lee Tracker,
- 8:28Speaker 1: and they basically reported Kathy Wood and Ark invest bought
- 8:31Speaker 1: three hundred thirty nine thousand shares of Tom Ley's bm
- 8:33Speaker 1: and R. Bm and R is an ETH treasury company.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Simple.
- 8:37Speaker 1: But what gets into is that they're on their way
- 8:41Speaker 1: to try to hold five percent of the total supply.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Think about that.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Right now they hold one billion in ETH. So this
- 8:49Speaker 1: is a huge validation not only for Tom Lee, but
- 8:52Speaker 1: I think for Kathy Wood who's jumping into this as well.
- 8:56Speaker 2: And it's very very early.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Tom Ley's BMR just acquired another seventy eight thousand and
- 9:00Speaker 1: in eighth He's becoming the new Michael Sailor in terms
- 9:03Speaker 1: of buying when even the the token itself is continuing
- 9:08Speaker 1: to rise and still trading well above what market has
- 9:12Speaker 1: been as well. So keep an eye on this one.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I think this will continue to push ETH. This will
- 9:17Speaker 1: start to move some other players into the limelight, and
- 9:20Speaker 1: I'll show you some of those here in a second.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I want to go to a clip real quick, because
- 9:24Speaker 1: this is van x Lead talking about Eth's position in
- 9:30Speaker 1: Wall Street.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Right now, take a look.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Ether has suddenly reared its head and hit new records.
- 9:36Speaker 4: It's very much what I call the Wall Street token.
- 9:39Speaker 4: And what I mean by that is if you think
- 9:41Speaker 4: that because of stable coins, now every bank and they
- 9:45Speaker 4: are and every financial services company has to have a
- 9:47Speaker 4: way of taking in stable coins. If I want to
- 9:50Speaker 4: send you stable coins, your bank has to figure it
- 9:52Speaker 4: out yep, or you will find some other institution to
- 9:55Speaker 4: do that. So the winner is who's going to be
- 9:59Speaker 4: building on these blockchains. It's going to be some etherium
- 10:03Speaker 4: or something that uses Ethereum's kind of methodology, which is
- 10:06Speaker 4: called EVM. And so that's why eths is because the
- 10:10Speaker 4: Wall Street CTO is going to turn around saying what
- 10:12Speaker 4: the hell is this stuff? When am I going to
- 10:14Speaker 4: build on? And it's going to be a theory.
- 10:16Speaker 1: All right, So he is hitting on the very point.
- 10:19Speaker 1: What am I going to build on. It's going to
- 10:21Speaker 1: be ethereum as we start to see banking and fintech
- 10:24Speaker 1: start to transition in and it is early in that phase,
- 10:28Speaker 1: remember most of these companies. The only thing I think
- 10:31Speaker 1: that the reason it's being magnified so much right now
- 10:34Speaker 1: is because crypto has a way of being able to
- 10:38Speaker 1: magnify data and information and it's primarily because of crypto
- 10:42Speaker 1: Twitter that helps this go like it's going right now.
- 10:46Speaker 1: And when you look at the flow inflows this was August, okay,
- 10:51Speaker 1: and Matt, how can put this out? Is pretty strike
- 10:55Speaker 1: a pretty striking comparison here negative eight hundred million for
- 10:58Speaker 1: bitcoin plus four billion for Eth. So this is a
- 11:02Speaker 1: relentless bid for Eth at the moment. Now we'll see
- 11:06Speaker 1: how this plays out throughout the fall. Maybe it will change,
- 11:10Speaker 1: but right now, Eth it's definitely on a tear. Let
- 11:13Speaker 1: me jump over to this right here, and this is
- 11:16Speaker 1: talking about DJT Junior investing in Polymarket, the prediction platform,
- 11:22Speaker 1: and we broke news on this earlier in the week.
- 11:24Speaker 2: But the point being.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Is that this starts to set up a beta play again.
- 11:29Speaker 1: If you missed ethereum and you're trying to look at
- 11:31Speaker 1: an alternative to that still within the eth ecosystem, well
- 11:34Speaker 1: that is the potential here. This is Polygon right now,
- 11:38Speaker 1: this is the daily and let me kind of zoom
- 11:40Speaker 1: out here, guys, to just give you an idea of
- 11:42Speaker 1: where this chart has come from. And remember this used
- 11:45Speaker 1: to be the Mattic token for those of you who
- 11:47Speaker 1: haven't been around crypto very long, a lot of trade
- 11:50Speaker 1: activity over historical on this. But a key here is
- 11:53Speaker 1: that this might be finally in a position where it's
- 11:55Speaker 1: starting to break out and if it gets above that
- 11:57Speaker 1: twenty seven cent range, that's where it's going to ge
- 12:00Speaker 1: interesting for Polygon. And the reason that all this is
- 12:03Speaker 1: happening is this right here, most bullish chart and crypto
- 12:06Speaker 1: right now, polymarkets TVL. This will be orders of magnitude
- 12:11Speaker 1: higher next year. So this is up only if this
- 12:13Speaker 1: thing goes into a token or an ipo.
- 12:16Speaker 2: All this is very.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Good for Polygon, the token going forward, especially as people
- 12:22Speaker 1: start to understand it, and then the US Department of
- 12:25Speaker 1: Commerce they're posting real GDP data on Polygon also, that's
- 12:28Speaker 1: just another benefit to it. Okay, So let's jump over
- 12:31Speaker 1: to Solona now, because this is a new case study
- 12:33Speaker 1: that just dropped for teams scaling tokenized financial products. You
- 12:37Speaker 1: got sixty plus tokenized US stocks. That's an advantage. Solona
- 12:41Speaker 1: is first there. You also have kind of this whole
- 12:44Speaker 1: idea around twenty four to seven trading near instant settlement.
- 12:47Speaker 1: This is going to be a big deal on what
- 12:49Speaker 1: this is going to look like. X Stocks, of course
- 12:51Speaker 1: is the big one right now. They did two billion
- 12:53Speaker 1: in volume in six weeks. Guys two billion in volume
- 12:55Speaker 1: in six weeks, and this is like not even.
- 12:59Speaker 2: The tip of the iceberg.
- 13:00Speaker 1: The iceberg hasn't even been formed yet, that's how big
- 13:03Speaker 1: it is. And if you look further into this token
- 13:06Speaker 1: is stocks on Solona near ninety million in trading in
- 13:08Speaker 1: the first month. This was July, and this is insane
- 13:13Speaker 1: when we see the potential here for what this is
- 13:16Speaker 1: going to look like. And Wall Street does not want
- 13:18Speaker 1: to be left behind here, so you can imagine what
- 13:20Speaker 1: this is going to look like, especially if they start
- 13:23Speaker 1: to embrace it going forward. Let's not forget Jupiter dropped
- 13:27Speaker 1: another big bomb, and that is Jupiter lend is now
- 13:31Speaker 1: available or will be available, and this is going to
- 13:33Speaker 1: be huge because it's going to open up the lending markup,
- 13:35Speaker 1: which has been a factor in Solana that I think
- 13:38Speaker 1: has been a little bit behind the scenes. This is
- 13:41Speaker 1: a good thing in general because it's going to open
- 13:43Speaker 1: up the ability for you not to tell your solana,
- 13:45Speaker 1: being able to go out and take a loan on it,
- 13:47Speaker 1: do other things with it, whatever it might be.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Always, just like.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Any asset or any loan, don't over collater or undercollateralize.
- 13:54Speaker 1: That's a thing you should always do. It's kind of
- 13:56Speaker 1: like when you go out and buy a car, don't
- 13:57Speaker 1: get upside down, as they say in the car basins,
- 14:00Speaker 1: don't get upside down on these.
- 14:01Speaker 2: In other words, loan more than the vehicle or the
- 14:04Speaker 2: asset is worth.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Now, if you look at Matt Hogan, he also kind
- 14:07Speaker 1: of was dunking on the banks right here, and what
- 14:10Speaker 1: he's talking about is just the simplicity issue of banks
- 14:14Speaker 1: not paying any kind of yields, and this I think.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Has to change. Guys.
- 14:18Speaker 1: This is going to change for them to keep up.
- 14:21Speaker 1: And the way it's going to happen is through stable
- 14:23Speaker 1: coins and also just in general, how yields are going
- 14:26Speaker 1: to be being paid and as we get out of
- 14:29Speaker 1: this crypto bull run, there's going to be times where
- 14:33Speaker 1: you're going to be taking profits. I'm going to make
- 14:35Speaker 1: you take profits, and the reason that you're going to
- 14:39Speaker 1: do that is because you can also earn just by
- 14:42Speaker 1: holding a core asset like USDC or another stable coin,
- 14:46Speaker 1: then re ingest that into vaults, make sure it's diversified
- 14:51Speaker 1: in a variety of vaults, and be able to earn
- 14:53Speaker 1: a lot more than just the core three to five
- 14:56Speaker 1: percent interest that we're earning right now on money markets.
- 14:58Speaker 1: And that is what is going to to be happening
- 15:01Speaker 1: with a company like Veda. This is not a sponsor,
- 15:04Speaker 1: but this is a company that's out there that's talking
- 15:06Speaker 1: about a DeFi engine for fintech. If this starts to
- 15:10Speaker 1: get in to the cool kids camp, which is all
- 15:14Speaker 1: the fintech companies as well as the emerging banks and
- 15:19Speaker 1: neobanks that I think are going to be hitting the
- 15:21Speaker 1: market any time now, this is where you're going to
- 15:23Speaker 1: start to see a lot of these yields start to
- 15:25Speaker 1: pay out. And if you look at what they're doing,
- 15:27Speaker 1: four point four billion locked up here user about one
- 15:29Speaker 1: hundred thousand and seventy five million in yield generated.
- 15:33Speaker 2: And the way they're doing.
- 15:34Speaker 1: It is through all sorts of things around different protocols,
- 15:39Speaker 1: what they're going to do with vaults, how they're going
- 15:41Speaker 1: to do savings accounts. The point is they're going to
- 15:43Speaker 1: be paying yield in a lot more financial assets than
- 15:45Speaker 1: what you've been seeing in the old financial business. Guys,
- 15:49Speaker 1: welcome to the next generation. That's what we're dealing with
- 15:52Speaker 1: right now. I want to go to their CEO because
- 15:54Speaker 1: he has some very interesting things to say about this.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Say, vaults are very similar to things like asset management
- 16:01Speaker 5: and funds in the real world. You know, the kind
- 16:05Speaker 5: of in between of if you took the idea of
- 16:07Speaker 5: a vault but put it in an opaque, centralized offering,
- 16:11Speaker 5: you'd get something similar to like a Block five or
- 16:13Speaker 5: like a Celsius. Right, and that product experience was super successful. Right.
- 16:17Speaker 5: People have crypto assets and they want to earn yield
- 16:19Speaker 5: on it. It's why those companies were really successful until
- 16:22Speaker 5: they weren't. And the reason they weren't is because all
- 16:26Speaker 5: of the leverage was hidden, right, Like, users had no
- 16:28Speaker 5: idea the levels of misbehaving and misappropriating the funds that
- 16:33Speaker 5: were going on. So what a vault fundamentally is is
- 16:36Speaker 5: you take that vehicle that's pooling capital, but you put
- 16:39Speaker 5: everything on chain, right, so users can see exactly what
- 16:42Speaker 5: the leverage is, what's happening to their assets. They know
- 16:45Speaker 5: the rules right, so they know if they wan't earning
- 16:47Speaker 5: yield on EAT or something. The vault can't just yolo
- 16:50Speaker 5: into some meme coin and it physically shouldn't be able
- 16:53Speaker 5: to do that. The accounting is all on chain. So yeah,
- 16:56Speaker 5: I definitely agree. I think to some extent, what we're
- 16:57Speaker 5: doing is taking asset management or managed capital just as
- 17:02Speaker 5: a category, bringing that on chain and expanding it making
- 17:05Speaker 5: it accessible to anyone.
- 17:07Speaker 1: All right, So the key words that he was talking
- 17:11Speaker 1: about there is transparency, because that was he's talking about
- 17:14Speaker 1: a couple of companies that did not do well in
- 17:17Speaker 1: the last run and they are circumventing that. The idea
- 17:21Speaker 1: is to get more transparent, well, be completely transparent on
- 17:24Speaker 1: how your assets are being held and exercise to be
- 17:27Speaker 1: able to gain these yields for you. The demand was
- 17:29Speaker 1: there in the past bull run and it was very clear,
- 17:33Speaker 1: but the problem was they were just bad actors. The
- 17:35Speaker 1: concept was solid, and I think that's what they've changed
- 17:38Speaker 1: in the model here many companies like Vega, so it's
- 17:41Speaker 1: not just them. But I want to go to his
- 17:43Speaker 1: second clip here that kind of goes a little bit
- 17:45Speaker 1: more into how the yield problem can be attacked.
- 17:49Speaker 5: Take a look sometimes like the obfuscation is a feature, right, Like,
- 17:53Speaker 5: what do you think about this dynamic? Oh, that's a fact, right?
- 17:56Speaker 5: And you always have these vested interests that will try
- 17:58Speaker 5: to stop progress. I think to some extent, the Genius
- 18:01Speaker 5: Bill as a result of this, Right, Like, the concept
- 18:03Speaker 5: of you can't pay yield on a stable coin is
- 18:06Speaker 5: just absurd, Like there's no fund There shouldn't be any
- 18:08Speaker 5: fundamental reason for that, except that now you get parity
- 18:11Speaker 5: with the legacy banking systems. Smart contract risk is just
- 18:15Speaker 5: very difficult to assess, right, Like, even in spite of
- 18:19Speaker 5: JP Morgan's credibility, I wouldn't use their first attempt at
- 18:23Speaker 5: a defied protocol, right Like, increasingly the robin hoods, the
- 18:26Speaker 5: coinbases of the world, they're the ones who are providing
- 18:29Speaker 5: financial rails and financial solutions to users, and they're leading
- 18:34Speaker 5: a pack. Right, So either they're going to eat the
- 18:35Speaker 5: lunch of the traditional institutions or the traditional institutions will
- 18:39Speaker 5: have to step up and start offering these kind of experiences.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Okay, So he makes a very good statement here, and
- 18:45Speaker 1: the point is that this is happening in all sorts
- 18:49Speaker 1: of technology. It's happening in media, you know, the legacy
- 18:53Speaker 1: media not able to keep up with what's happening in
- 18:55Speaker 1: new media. It's happening now in AI.
- 18:58Speaker 2: A lot of the emerging.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Companies now even AI challenging search. And it's going to
- 19:02Speaker 1: happen in the finance products as well. And I believe
- 19:05Speaker 1: that he is dead on there, and that is the
- 19:08Speaker 1: next generation of finance companies are going to be the
- 19:10Speaker 1: new ones that come out because they are happening at
- 19:14Speaker 1: a time that is very unique. One last thing I
- 19:16Speaker 1: want to get at before we leave here is when
- 19:19Speaker 1: you look at where your dollars should be going. And
- 19:22Speaker 1: I've always said I still believe digital asset is the
- 19:25Speaker 1: only way to go forward.
- 19:27Speaker 2: It is the way.
- 19:28Speaker 1: The inflation adjusted all time high for eth in twenty
- 19:31Speaker 1: twenty five right now is fifty eight hundred dollars, which
- 19:33Speaker 1: would be an all time high. That means that ethereum
- 19:37Speaker 1: has not made a new all time high yet. So
- 19:40Speaker 1: if you look at the calculator that was done here
- 19:42Speaker 1: just between twenty one and twenty five, nineteen percent basically
- 19:46Speaker 1: nineteen percent cumulative inflation since then over that.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Period of time.
- 19:50Speaker 1: If you had put that those same dollars into ETH,
- 19:53Speaker 1: you are ahead of inflation right now. That's the difference
- 19:57Speaker 1: right now on digital assets. And I think this is
- 19:59Speaker 1: the market that we're entering into, is that if you're
- 20:02Speaker 1: not in digital assets on this go round, what have
- 20:06Speaker 1: you guys been doing? You know, let's get it clear.
- 20:10Speaker 1: This is the future. And I hope you're paying attention
- 20:12Speaker 1: out there. If you're not well, join the diamond circle.
- 20:15Speaker 1: It's the way you'll learn to pay attention and get
- 20:17Speaker 1: in on what's happening in this next evolution of finance.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Tech and many more things are going to be going
- 20:24Speaker 1: on to help you guys.
- 20:25Speaker 2: If you are not.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Following me on acts, make sure and do that. It's
- 20:28Speaker 1: just at Paul Baron. We'll catch you next time right
- 20:30Speaker 1: here on The Paul Baron Show.
