- 1:09Speaker 1: Actually, should we do the show pul side? Well, I
- 1:13Speaker 1: think so because we can, we have to do a
- 1:14Speaker 1: show were not have do we get to we could
- 1:17Speaker 1: either do it from our rooms or from Paul side.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I think Paul side. I think Paul side.

- 1:34Speaker 1: Responsibly We were saying though off here.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yeah, massively responsibly. How are you going, Keysy?
- 1:40Speaker 6: Are?
- 1:40Speaker 1: Today has been really great? Guys. Don't want to brag,
- 1:43Speaker 1: but I've done nothing today. Congrats man, A few days
- 1:46Speaker 1: doing a lot of Edmond. I just I just feel great.
- 1:48Speaker 1: You've earned it. Yeah, thanks Mike.
- 1:51Speaker 3: And that's the thing, man, You've pampered yourself because today
- 1:55Speaker 3: you've washed your hair, didn't you.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I've put shampoa in my hair this more, Mike, Yeah,
- 2:00Speaker 1: I did. What shampoo do you use?
- 2:03Speaker 3: That's a good question. I don't know. It's it's the
- 2:06Speaker 3: wife's right. Once every six or seven months, I'll dig in.
- 2:10Speaker 3: I don't wash my hair.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I wash my hair every night and right, and thus
- 2:14Speaker 1: do you seriously. Yeah, is that weird? How do you
- 2:19Speaker 1: wash your hair?
- 2:20Speaker 3: Yes? Great question, let's start with that every day.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So I'm every day. You're never literally never, and Mike
- 2:26Speaker 1: you are every now and then A yeah, right, okay,
- 2:30Speaker 1: who's right here?
- 2:30Speaker 4: And thus I have very lustrous locks. Hey, what's coming
- 2:33Speaker 4: up on the show, magie?
- 2:34Speaker 3: Oh that's a hell of a question.
- 2:35Speaker 6: Man.
- 2:35Speaker 3: We've got a bloody big day to day. But you
- 2:37Speaker 3: know what it is is keep it secret day today,
- 2:40Speaker 3: So you're going to find out as we go along.
- 2:42Speaker 3: One thing I can promise you the Throbbers coming up
- 2:45Speaker 3: your backbone.
- 2:47Speaker 2: The Darkey Big Show week days from four on radio.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Hold ikey owaists there on the radio. Hold Ankey Big
- 2:53Speaker 4: Show this Friday afternoon. The time is fourteen minutes past
- 2:56Speaker 4: four o'clock.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Hey, fellas, you know how he started the show with
- 3:00Speaker 1: hair washed chat? Yes, shampoo chat. Not a lot of
- 3:04Speaker 1: response on that.
- 3:05Speaker 3: What it's joy?
- 3:06Speaker 1: So I guess that content's no good? Three four eight three?
- 3:10Speaker 1: How often do you wash your here?
- 3:12Speaker 3: Yeah? And we're not giving up on it, so you
- 3:14Speaker 3: might as well tell us totally. I know it's good content.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I can feel it in my bones, and you know,
- 3:18Speaker 4: what's really great about it is that we've all got
- 3:20Speaker 4: our own different stories.
- 3:22Speaker 3: That's so true, so we can all add something different.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and hopefully each of our stories will relate
- 3:27Speaker 3: to somebody listening out there.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Hopefully that's the goal of radio. Hey, fellas, got a
- 3:33Speaker 1: bit of a bone to pick, if that's all gen
- 3:35Speaker 1: Oh god, I got a bone to pick. Bone de
- 3:39Speaker 1: Pecker is with my wife. Pick a bone with my wife.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Last night, she was chatting with one of her mates
- 3:46Speaker 1: and I was in the kitchen doing the dishes, and
- 3:49Speaker 1: they were just singing the lounge gas bag and you know.
- 3:51Speaker 3: The world is upside down man, totally.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I was in the kitchen there doing the dishes, and
- 3:59Speaker 1: I overheard her, Yeah yeah, I think my next wedding
- 4:02Speaker 1: dress will be a lot sort of longer than my
- 4:05Speaker 1: last one. And I was like, hang on, you get
- 4:09Speaker 1: married again, you know what I mean? Oh, you know
- 4:11Speaker 1: what I mean. Like I'm not getting mad, but like
- 4:12Speaker 1: if I was to get married again, I think I
- 4:14Speaker 1: would if I get a longer dress. And I was like, well,
- 4:16Speaker 1: it sounds like you've made plans for your next wedding.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Can I just say it's a strange way to phrase it, Kisi,
- 4:22Speaker 3: because I think probably one of the if I if
- 4:24Speaker 3: it was me and I was married to you, First
- 4:26Speaker 3: of all, i'd be blissfully happy. Let me put it
- 4:29Speaker 3: to you that way, I wish man. The second thing
- 4:31Speaker 3: is I would say if I was here, the one
- 4:34Speaker 3: thing I regret about my wedding dress of when I
- 4:37Speaker 3: got married the only time that will ever happen, was
- 4:40Speaker 3: that it wasn't quite long enough, and I wish it
- 4:43Speaker 3: had have been longer.
- 4:44Speaker 1: So if we were to get married, you would have
- 4:45Speaker 1: gone for a dress.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I would have gone something longer, certainly, probably not, I
- 4:48Speaker 3: would have gone shorter like Pamela Anderson.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Right out, like a short mini skirt, like a mini
- 4:56Speaker 1: it's almost like a two piece and boob tube boot.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Certainly. Yeah, not leaving much to the imagination. I'm a
- 5:04Speaker 3: little bit, you know, pervy.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I'm pervy. Yeah, he's just he's out there.
- 5:11Speaker 4: I loved my wife's dress at our wedding, and it
- 5:14Speaker 4: was a friend of ours that made it for her. Yeah,
- 5:17Speaker 4: And it was beautiful, so beautiful that as she was
- 5:20Speaker 4: walking towards me, I forgot all my vows.
- 5:24Speaker 3: That that was because you were esteemed well that as well,
- 5:27Speaker 3: and yeah, because they some woman, oh god, get very
- 5:35Speaker 3: very worked up about that stuff. My wife is very chill.
- 5:39Speaker 3: She was very chill.
- 5:40Speaker 4: It was her friend that was making it that was
- 5:42Speaker 4: getting stressed out about it, But not that my wife
- 5:44Speaker 4: was being massively demanding. Sure, but her friend felt this
- 5:49Speaker 4: huge responsibility and she did a great job.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Why did she make the dress out of it was
- 5:56Speaker 1: sacking of some description like an old like a rice
- 5:59Speaker 1: sack or yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Yeah, rega, it was a bit itchy. Yeah, yeah, rereaked
- 6:04Speaker 3: of spuds.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Sweet. You just cut a hole in the top into
- 6:10Speaker 1: the arm holes and then and.
- 6:11Speaker 4: It had the sort of you know, the lettering across
- 6:14Speaker 4: it too, you know, potatoes.
- 6:19Speaker 2: The Hdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 6:23Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio Hodaki.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Poel jam there on the Radio Hodanikee Big Show this
- 6:28Speaker 4: Friday afternoon. The time is twenty five minutes past four o'clock.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Don't forget that from Monday. To be listening to Radio Hodaki.
- 6:35Speaker 1: And if you hear the roar of the crowd at
- 6:37Speaker 1: any point, to get on the blowers straight away, oh
- 6:39Speaker 1: eight hundred Hodarki and you could instantly win two hundred
- 6:41Speaker 1: and fifty dollars to put towards a gig. It is
- 6:44Speaker 1: gig a little it is returning and thanks so mates
- 6:47Speaker 1: at super Liquor, we've got over ten grand in cash
- 6:50Speaker 1: and the kitty. Yeah man, that's cheers to gigs, Cheers
- 6:53Speaker 1: to super Liquor, Cheers.
- 6:54Speaker 3: To that get it in you. Yeah man, Hey, Kezy,
- 6:58Speaker 3: you were just telling the yarn about how your wife
- 7:00Speaker 3: is planning to divorce you and get married again because
- 7:03Speaker 3: you overheard her whispering to a friend of hers and
- 7:08Speaker 3: saying to her, yeah, and when I get married again,
- 7:11Speaker 3: my wedding dress is going to be long. Yeah.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I mean it wasn't quite like that. I overheard her talking.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Don't tell Chris, do you think it's the guy that
- 7:20Speaker 4: she has a crash on from the.
- 7:24Speaker 3: My next marriage is going to be forever. This is
- 7:27Speaker 3: just my practice one. Anyway, I thought that was a
- 7:29Speaker 3: pretty interesting yarn and reminded me of when I was
- 7:35Speaker 3: getting married or planning. We got engaged, and we're sort
- 7:39Speaker 3: of thanks man, thanks keusy man, and we're sort of
- 7:44Speaker 3: designing the ring because, as I already knew at that stage,
- 7:47Speaker 3: there was no point me just buying one because it
- 7:49Speaker 3: would inevitably be wrong, so let's just design it together.
- 7:54Speaker 3: So maybe we've been long and picked a couple out
- 7:56Speaker 3: and the jeweler said, oh, this one is you know,
- 8:00Speaker 3: point let's say, point nine of a carrot. And my
- 8:03Speaker 3: wife said, oh no, no, no, no, we can't have anything.
- 8:06Speaker 3: We don't want any diamond that's under one carrot because
- 8:10Speaker 3: that really affects the resale value.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I mean, she does have a good point. You know,
- 8:19Speaker 1: it's nice to know that stuff. And she obviously knew
- 8:23Speaker 1: that the chances of your relationship working out, you know,
- 8:26Speaker 1: in the long run.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's interesting because and I've got
- 8:31Speaker 3: to say my ears pricked up at that.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I thought, ah, there's probably nothing nothing to worry about there,
- 8:40Speaker 3: thought can sell the engagement ring. When my wife bought
- 8:45Speaker 3: her wedding ring, she brought her own ring.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Well, no, I mean when I when I bought my
- 8:51Speaker 4: wife's wedding ring, right, this is this is how it works.
- 8:54Speaker 4: She said, how about I have a diamond for each
- 8:57Speaker 4: of our kids? And I said that's a lovely idea.
- 8:59Speaker 4: And then I realized I've got like twenty eight kids.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So now she's got a bracelet.
- 9:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Well she had to because they wouldn't fit on one ring.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I can't leave your wife bought her own ring.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Well she didn't.
- 9:11Speaker 4: I bought it and terrible sorry about wedding rings. I
- 9:16Speaker 4: found the coolest one for me, which I bought, and
- 9:21Speaker 4: about three weeks after we got married, I lost it.
- 9:23Speaker 4: On the beach in Corimandel, went for a swim, got
- 9:26Speaker 4: out of the water and was like, hang about.
- 9:30Speaker 3: You know what, that's terrible luck for a marriage. Terrible.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Well, it's taking a long time arriving because we're nearly
- 9:38Speaker 4: thirty years so that's the curse.
- 9:43Speaker 2: The Darchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 9:46Speaker 2: in on radio.
- 9:49Speaker 4: She heard there on the radio Honarchy Big Show this
- 9:51Speaker 4: Friday afternoon. The time is four thirty six now. The
- 9:54Speaker 4: NRL Grand Final on this weekend feels Broncos V the storm.
- 9:59Speaker 3: And a bed in mine.
- 10:01Speaker 4: We had to get the old rugby league legend. Charlie
- 10:04Speaker 4: got back on the line. Charlie has been a while,
- 10:07Speaker 4: your mad bastard.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Pretty hard bastard. It has been too long aft forget
- 10:13Speaker 5: what it's like to get on the airwaves. Really cleaned
- 10:16Speaker 5: up my ax since we last.
- 10:18Speaker 3: But oh well you needed to.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It's been two weeks as well. I mean, hey, Charlie,
- 10:23Speaker 1: before we rip into some NRL finals, chat man, the
- 10:26Speaker 1: iceman's leaving Porter King Bro Caleb Technicians he's off.
- 10:31Speaker 5: Yep, the Iceman love this chemicals. He's off, Bro. Yeah,
- 10:38Speaker 5: that leaves me in the truck Bro. So I don't know.
- 10:40Speaker 5: It's just one of those things, you know. I didn't
- 10:42Speaker 5: want to let him go, but he's gone.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Yeah. Is he off to bigger and better things? Man?
- 10:46Speaker 3: Or what's the gat? Is that possible?
- 10:48Speaker 5: I think he's I think he's chasing men in Australia.
- 10:54Speaker 1: A job. There's a job available at Porter King down
- 10:57Speaker 1: and well with them inn.
- 10:59Speaker 5: It definitely is it. Obviously you've got to get interviewed
- 11:03Speaker 5: by me first, so that's not for everyone.
- 11:05Speaker 3: And you've got to have a work ethic as well. Man,
- 11:06Speaker 3: I understand you've had a few dead beats come along
- 11:10Speaker 3: and waste your time, so don't bother applying if you're
- 11:12Speaker 3: a dead beat.
- 11:13Speaker 5: Yeah, no dead beats, no maggots.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Yeah good, definitely if you want. If you're keep to
- 11:18Speaker 1: it with Charlie, hit them up. Paul King and Z
- 11:19Speaker 1: on Instagram Charlie ahead of the Sunday's Big Grand Final. Mate,
- 11:24Speaker 1: You've got the Melbourne Storm, who for the last two
- 11:27Speaker 1: decades are just always there or thereabouts real pain in
- 11:30Speaker 1: the arts team in my opinion. And you've got the
- 11:32Speaker 1: Broncos with quite a lot of storylines with your Adam Reynolds,
- 11:35Speaker 1: with your Ben Hunts and things like that, and Reese
- 11:37Speaker 1: Walsh as well. Who is your not who's your money on?
- 11:41Speaker 1: But who do you want to win this Grand Final?
- 11:45Speaker 5: I want I want Storm to run just because I
- 11:48Speaker 5: feel like they're just just a good hard team and
- 11:53Speaker 5: Bronx to me that they rugged me the wrong way,
- 11:56Speaker 5: you know, the two cocky they've had they've had a
- 11:58Speaker 5: few incidents. They're all good looking and they all love themselves.
- 12:01Speaker 5: You know. It's like a team. It's like a team
- 12:03Speaker 5: of haughty js. There's a team of pugs. You know.
- 12:06Speaker 5: I'm always going to back pigs.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, they're all peacocks, mate, Yeah, cocks.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Yeah they are Like if your daughter brought one of
- 12:15Speaker 5: their moment you'd be like, oh dang, what does.
- 12:19Speaker 1: You guys say?
- 12:20Speaker 3: Though?
- 12:20Speaker 1: Do you think the Storm will get it done?
- 12:22Speaker 5: I think the Storm will get it done because I
- 12:24Speaker 5: just look at the two teams Storms very meticulous. They're
- 12:28Speaker 5: hard workers. They've got to they stick to a game
- 12:30Speaker 5: plan and they kind of break down teams and get tries.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Where you look at the Broncos, they're just if they're
- 12:37Speaker 5: within striking range, they just have to kind of pullsh
- 12:39Speaker 5: stuff out there. They've got Catni Staggs on the edge.
- 12:42Speaker 5: They got res Roalchs, who's an unbelievable form, but all
- 12:46Speaker 5: their tries kind of just come from him. He's just
- 12:49Speaker 5: beating someone on the outside, throwing a throwing a skipball
- 12:52Speaker 5: that comes off. But I don't know. I don't know
- 12:55Speaker 5: if they're going to come off this a Storm, but
- 12:56Speaker 5: I think it's still a fifty to fifty game. But
- 12:59Speaker 5: I tip the Storm even though Boncos have the best
- 13:05Speaker 5: player in painhass.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Yeah, who knows. I guess that's the thing, isn't And
- 13:08Speaker 3: that's why you watch the game. And on that note,
- 13:10Speaker 3: are you going to stay out till eleven o'clock that
- 13:12Speaker 3: night man? Or you the sort of guy that leaves
- 13:14Speaker 3: it till the morning, watches in the morning and it
- 13:16Speaker 3: doesn't bother.
- 13:17Speaker 5: No, I'm going to stay out bother because remember in
- 13:19Speaker 5: the Curtain Raiser, we got the worries you so wells
- 13:22Speaker 5: Cup teams in the winner of the Queensland Cup team,
- 13:26Speaker 5: which is is going to be a rep snorter of
- 13:28Speaker 5: the game.
- 13:29Speaker 3: It's funny. I didn't realize that they were separate competitions
- 13:32Speaker 3: at all. I just I just thought it was a
- 13:33Speaker 3: unified comp.
- 13:35Speaker 5: Well, I'm glad you realize now that it's not unified.
- 13:37Speaker 3: And they are.
- 13:39Speaker 4: You know, I was thinking, Charlie, if I was coaching
- 13:42Speaker 4: the Storm, I'd get hold of you in my side
- 13:45Speaker 4: and say, oh, Gubby, this this Walsh Feller.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I want you to fold them in the first two minutes.
- 13:52Speaker 3: That's what i'd do.
- 13:52Speaker 4: I'd go, I don't care what you do, Gubby, just
- 13:55Speaker 4: get out there and nail this.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Sob yeah, well that's what that. I'm hoping that someone
- 14:01Speaker 5: does that from the Storm, but I don't know if
- 14:02Speaker 5: they still they still do that sort of stuff. Obviously
- 14:05Speaker 5: Big Nelson does, but he's suspended. Still.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right, he loves it.
- 14:11Speaker 5: Yeah. You need someone with miss self speaking, You need
- 14:14Speaker 5: someone like yeah.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Charlie. Actually, Charlie, before that, you go, man,
- 14:19Speaker 1: who's the current player in the NRAL that you sort
- 14:21Speaker 1: of reminds you a bit of you shit.
- 14:24Speaker 5: They're playing Reserve Grove Brother. Yeah, you doing it again.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Friday.
- 14:35Speaker 1: You're in love and I have to play the music.
- 14:37Speaker 1: That's just how radio works.
- 14:39Speaker 5: Man, oh god brother. Let's talk.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Chie see.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Here's the the Hodarchy Big Show week days from four
- 14:49Speaker 2: on radio.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Hold the Killers here on the Radio, Hold Archy Big
- 14:52Speaker 4: Show this Friday afternoon.
- 14:53Speaker 3: The time is four forty eight. Let's talk TV.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Yeah, Mike Minogue.
- 15:04Speaker 6: Yes.
- 15:12Speaker 3: I started watching the new season of Slowses, Oh yes,
- 15:15Speaker 3: starring Gary Oldman on Apple Television. It's very very good,
- 15:20Speaker 3: very bit. But unfortunately, what I didn't realize was that's
- 15:22Speaker 3: released one week, one episode at a time. So I
- 15:25Speaker 3: watched one episode. I was like, oh, I'm going to
- 15:27Speaker 3: smash this, but there was no more that had been released.
- 15:30Speaker 3: So now I'm waiting until it's all out and then
- 15:33Speaker 3: I can knock them all over all at once. First
- 15:35Speaker 3: episode is great, very very funny. Gary Oldman plays and
- 15:40Speaker 3: in My five Secret Agent, he's been around forever in
- 15:42Speaker 3: a day. He's sort of in a ragtag bunch of
- 15:45Speaker 3: people that have, you know, sort of done things wrong
- 15:47Speaker 3: in their career and they've been sort of put away
- 15:50Speaker 3: in a little box in the corner and everyone wants
- 15:52Speaker 3: to forget about them, but somehow they keep on getting
- 15:55Speaker 3: entangled in all sorts of espionage and lo and behold,
- 15:58Speaker 3: who's the one that sorts it out? Gary Oldman and
- 16:02Speaker 3: of slow horses?
- 16:03Speaker 1: Are we sure that my wife wouldn't enjoy this series?
- 16:06Speaker 3: It's there's some pretty full on violence. It's not the
- 16:13Speaker 3: moment I think it would be too tense for her. Yes,
- 16:17Speaker 3: I mean I guess. All that I hear is that
- 16:19Speaker 3: she's she likes country calendar and the house stuff, but
- 16:23Speaker 3: nothing else really, no, no.
- 16:25Speaker 1: No, so anything that's like too thrillery, to like, too stabby,
- 16:31Speaker 1: too stabby, like for example, we watched was It Ludwig
- 16:34Speaker 1: on TV and Z where David Mitchell solves murders but
- 16:38Speaker 1: the murders mostly have already happened, and it's not too graphic.
- 16:42Speaker 1: It's more about the solving and that was really fun
- 16:44Speaker 1: and interesting.
- 16:45Speaker 3: So she liked that.
- 16:46Speaker 1: She loved it?
- 16:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yes, a different cup of tea, I'm guessing, yeah,
- 16:50Speaker 3: I think, so give it a run. I think it's fantastic,
- 16:53Speaker 3: it's very funny, it's very good.
- 16:54Speaker 4: I'm continuing on with Brasset, and I think it's Joseph
- 16:59Speaker 4: gil Gun who's the main the vinny. There's a very appealing,
- 17:04Speaker 4: sort of charismatic type of fella, and I was reading
- 17:07Speaker 4: up about him last night. He wrote the show, or
- 17:10Speaker 4: he writes the show, and it's based pretty loosely on
- 17:13Speaker 4: his life. And in the show he's, you know, a
- 17:17Speaker 4: sort of small time crook with his band of sort
- 17:20Speaker 4: of misfits as well, and they just get.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Up to all these adventures.
- 17:23Speaker 4: And also on the show he's bipolar, and interestingly, in
- 17:28Speaker 4: real life he is bipolar. And what I really like
- 17:32Speaker 4: about this every now and then it gets quite dramatic.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Yes, and it's very good drama. It's very real, and
- 17:38Speaker 3: you go, oh, I wasn't expecting that, but I don't
- 17:41Speaker 3: mind it. So I started watching that months and months
- 17:43Speaker 3: ago and I think he passed the first episode, but
- 17:45Speaker 3: I did love it. And I think I was stealing
- 17:48Speaker 3: a shitland pony or something was going on in that
- 17:50Speaker 3: first episd it's thing to do with a pony. Yes,
- 17:52Speaker 3: he is very much that. But what I like about
- 17:55Speaker 3: it often gets tried. It gets tried quite a lot
- 17:57Speaker 3: of New Zealand that, but oftentimes the attempt ends up
- 18:01Speaker 3: being it's just mostly a drama. Where are the laughs? Yeah,
- 18:04Speaker 3: but I think you have to have the really hard
- 18:07Speaker 3: outlaughs to then be able to enjoy the drama. I agree.
- 18:09Speaker 3: I think it's where the attempts don't sort of quite hit.
- 18:12Speaker 3: And I think it's a very very funny shows.
- 18:15Speaker 4: And there's some real I mean, your wife, geezy, there's
- 18:18Speaker 4: no way, there's no way.
- 18:21Speaker 3: One of the characters are so filthy.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Yes, that's fine. She doesn't mind that.
- 18:26Speaker 3: She doesn't mind a bit of felth.
- 18:27Speaker 4: Hell no, who just says the most outrageous thing.
- 18:30Speaker 1: That's not what she doesn't like. She doesn't like violence
- 18:33Speaker 1: and scariness.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Well, there's a fair amount of violence in it too.
- 18:36Speaker 1: There you go. But some do different.
- 18:39Speaker 3: You love it? Yeah, it's great. It's a great show.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Where did you watch it? How many buzzies out of
- 18:44Speaker 1: five around Netflix?
- 18:46Speaker 3: I give it three point two buzzies? Oh three point
- 18:49Speaker 3: three point four busies?
- 18:50Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's good. Last night, fell As,
- 18:54Speaker 1: I watched an episode of Grand Designs in New Zealand
- 18:55Speaker 1: and I hated it.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Great.
- 18:57Speaker 1: It was terrible, yes, because I saw the idea was
- 18:59Speaker 1: this guy was designing his own house in the country
- 19:01Speaker 1: and he wants it to look like a bomber jet,
- 19:05Speaker 1: like the classic nightmare Formberjit. Right, yeah, nah, that's what
- 19:09Speaker 1: they were sold. As they get there and he goes, actually,
- 19:11Speaker 1: we had to dial it right back. So it's just
- 19:13Speaker 1: a regular house, just a regular looking house. It's kind
- 19:16Speaker 1: of airplane shape, but not really. They build it in
- 19:19Speaker 1: less than a year. It's on budget, so they spent
- 19:21Speaker 1: most of the episode doing other stuff to fill the episode.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Really it was it was like, oh, okay, so this
- 19:26Speaker 1: year it was a real waste of time. I give
- 19:28Speaker 1: it like one point eight busies out of five.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Kezy was few men on the way to the car.
- 19:32Speaker 4: The other day, Mogi about an episode where they built
- 19:34Speaker 4: a house in Wellington on a big hill and it
- 19:37Speaker 4: was really windy and they didn't like it, and they
- 19:40Speaker 4: spent like, was it keazy two or three million?
- 19:42Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking about, but yeah, it
- 19:47Speaker 1: was about two or three million. Yeah, and that turns
- 19:49Speaker 1: out they didn't like living on a hill. It was
- 19:51Speaker 1: two wins, but they already built the house.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Yeah, why not.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Hold aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 20:03Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio.
- 20:05Speaker 7: Hold a Key, It's the big shows Friday Throbber does
- 20:15Speaker 7: indeed it is. That's what's wrong with that?
- 20:19Speaker 3: Man?
- 20:21Speaker 4: Sounded good, it sounded amazing, keezy, it is a Friday throubber.
- 20:25Speaker 3: We don't really have a theme today. It's just whatever.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Couldn't come up with anything?
- 20:28Speaker 1: Nah, I mean we could have asked the audience on
- 20:31Speaker 1: three four eight three.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Yeah, you would have had to have been yesterday if
- 20:35Speaker 3: we did that. Yeah.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Do you remember, like towards the end of our show
- 20:37Speaker 1: you said, and I was like, hey, what should we
- 20:39Speaker 1: do the theme for the Throbber?
- 20:40Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 20:41Speaker 1: And then Jay said Spring, that's right, we should have
- 20:46Speaker 1: done it.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Then, yeah we should Yeah, we should have done Spring.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Damn it.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Well, hey, three four three, what's the next week's Throbber?
- 20:51Speaker 3: Ben? That's good from you man? Great radio right there?
- 20:54Speaker 1: Well do you want to go first? Jason?
- 20:58Speaker 3: Sure? Listen this song, I was said at Harvard.
- 21:00Speaker 4: I was listening to it at home and it was raining,
- 21:02Speaker 4: it was gray, made me feel a bit sexy.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Is it like imagining dragons or something?
- 21:27Speaker 3: No? Who is it deaf Tones?
- 21:29Speaker 1: What's the song?
- 21:30Speaker 3: Sex tape?
- 21:31Speaker 1: Sex Tape by the Deaf Tones?
- 21:34Speaker 4: Well, you know, it's just it just felt right today
- 21:37Speaker 4: with this weather that's just terrible.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, man, what about you make you want today?
- 21:42Speaker 3: Ago for choose a song that is a throbber?
- 21:46Speaker 1: Oh wow, boyselves, all the boys round yourself, all my
- 21:52Speaker 1: boy for the scrillis they're bangering you like that one?
- 22:06Speaker 3: Actually he made me think of Pugs a right, it's
- 22:08Speaker 3: very yummy boys an absolute tune.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I decided today to just pick a tune that I
- 22:12Speaker 1: think we should play more of on hode Oh. Sure,
- 22:14Speaker 1: it's from Idols. It's called Gift Horse, bloody ripper of
- 22:32Speaker 1: a tune. Actually you're like that, Yeah, we should play
- 22:34Speaker 1: we should play Idols. You're a great band. Okay, yeah, yeah.
- 22:37Speaker 3: I'll do it.
- 22:38Speaker 4: I'll talk to the boss. I'll talk to Boggsy, see
- 22:41Speaker 4: what he thinks.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I don't think Boggsy, the CEO of the entire company
- 22:44Speaker 1: is picking our music.
- 22:45Speaker 3: He loves our tunes. Yeah, Idols absolutely is.
- 22:50Speaker 4: But ultimately and he's gonna you decide to give us
- 22:52Speaker 4: a call now on eight hundred Hodaki and we'll go
- 22:54Speaker 4: from there.
- 22:54Speaker 3: In the meantime, he's David Bali.
- 22:56Speaker 2: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Darky.
- 23:03Speaker 7: It's the hoy big shows Friday Throb.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Yeah yeah.
- 23:12Speaker 4: On guys, no theme today, just whatever, whatever, whatever you
- 23:17Speaker 4: feel like.
- 23:18Speaker 1: It's a throuble wild card Jason, Yeah, man, which means
- 23:21Speaker 1: just the standard throm of no theme. Jace went for
- 23:24Speaker 1: what song? Imagine dragon something? What was it?
- 23:28Speaker 3: Six tape by the one of the biggest wounds.
- 23:46Speaker 4: It's a great chance, it's a great chant sounds.

- 24:14Speaker 1: you're loving it too.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I chose the band Idols that I think we should
- 24:18Speaker 1: play on radio. Jocky the song Gift Horse's shore a
- 24:37Speaker 1: fel Yeah man, it's.
- 24:38Speaker 4: Great stuff, Fellers, great stuff. Let's go to the phone lines.

- 25:15Speaker 1: voting for?
- 25:15Speaker 6: Brother?
- 25:16Speaker 3: Well it's pretty slim, pretty flags, but on the mirror
- 25:19Speaker 3: to be not the shiftest.
- 25:20Speaker 5: I'm going to give it to Keysy.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Well done, man, that's good from you.
- 25:23Speaker 4: You take it, not the sest, just going to hate
- 25:28Speaker 4: old Hayden.

- 25:35Speaker 1: Good mate?
- 25:35Speaker 3: Good?

- 25:38Speaker 1: What are you up to? Men?
- 25:40Speaker 3: I was just getting some wood okay, yeah for winter?
- 25:46Speaker 3: Yeah you're on it, man, get it early.
- 25:49Speaker 5: It's not hot like New Aukland, you know.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Yeah, totally mate? What are you running with the Hayden?
- 25:54Speaker 5: I'm ready to fingering.
- 25:57Speaker 3: We've got it. Did here on your hate and your
- 26:00Speaker 3: mad dog.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Good luck with your would mate. Oh wow, that's a
- 26:04Speaker 1: loud Graham you there, dog? What do you want to
- 26:10Speaker 1: vote for?
- 26:10Speaker 6: There?
- 26:11Speaker 3: Graham?
- 26:11Speaker 1: You're the tie breaking mate?
- 26:14Speaker 2: He chose an absolute non throbber.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Who did he chose?
- 26:18Speaker 8: Good?
- 26:19Speaker 5: You? What?
- 26:21Speaker 1: Mogi? You're the final? Yeah?
- 26:27Speaker 3: How long does it last for? So I can go? Graham?
- 26:32Speaker 3: Va there? Pugs can we give Graham a million bucks man,
- 26:35Speaker 3: he's a backbone.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Definitely give him, like you know, a voucher because he
- 26:38Speaker 4: was a deciding vote.
- 26:39Speaker 1: What do you what do you think? He's on three
- 26:42Speaker 1: four eight three? What do you think of today's throbber?
- 26:44Speaker 1: At his scrillis bang ring bang a ring. That's the one.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Crank it up, Keysy Man.
- 26:51Speaker 2: The Whole Archy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio
- 26:54Speaker 2: hod Ikey.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Right now giving a.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Sorry, huh what was that? You put a k on
- 27:03Speaker 1: the end of that way? Yeah, scrills, it's pronounced skrillex.
- 27:10Speaker 1: I have actually no idea Moggi wins the Friday Throbber.
- 27:13Speaker 1: That means the scores are Mogi and Jays tied in
- 27:16Speaker 1: first place with eleven wins. Wow, although Jase has two
- 27:20Speaker 1: asterisks for playing a Pantera song with a million f
- 27:24Speaker 1: bombs in it and also coercing a listener, and I
- 27:28Speaker 1: am coming last on seven wins with two asterisks, one
- 27:31Speaker 1: for playing Freebird when it wasn't related to the theme
- 27:34Speaker 1: and the other for bullying Mogi.
- 27:36Speaker 3: I remember that like it was yesterday. Yeah, well you're
- 27:39Speaker 3: still recovering from it, aren't you.
- 27:40Speaker 4: I mean it was vicious it was absolutely vicious.
- 27:45Speaker 1: A lot of great texts here on three four eight three,
- 27:49Speaker 1: that's effing terrible. About time you played some decent music.
- 27:53Speaker 3: About time you played some decent music, or about time
- 27:57Speaker 3: you guys played some decent music. It's hard to hell. Yeah, yeah, yeah, one.
- 28:02Speaker 1: A lot of people enjoyed my choice. But texting through
- 28:05Speaker 1: doesn't matter.
- 28:05Speaker 3: You've got to call. It's annoying, isn't it crazy when
- 28:07Speaker 3: you get all these texts coming through. It's not the
- 28:09Speaker 3: way we count the votes.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Someone here saying, chalk this one down as an asterisk
- 28:12Speaker 1: for everyone and give the point to pugs. Yeah, it's
- 28:17Speaker 1: always it's always revery devisive the Friday throbber. But you
- 28:19Speaker 1: guys are way out in front. There's no way I
- 28:21Speaker 1: can catch you.
- 28:22Speaker 3: All you need is.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's very possible because you remember, I remember
- 28:28Speaker 4: when you did win, the year you won, you went
- 28:29Speaker 4: on a bit of a run.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Wait, so you remember I remember the year you did
- 28:34Speaker 1: win and you went on.
- 28:35Speaker 3: A bit of a run, did I? Yeah?
- 28:37Speaker 1: Okay, I think of your.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Head like a teen point lead at one point. That's
- 28:41Speaker 3: a dance, right, I remember that one that was ridiculous.
- 28:44Speaker 3: That was when I went on a run. He was
- 28:46Speaker 3: up fourteen to five and then he got mowed down.
- 28:50Speaker 1: That was shocking from I also went on holiday for
- 28:53Speaker 1: a month, which didn't really help as well, So I
- 28:56Speaker 1: went to Europe.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Jays, Oh man, I should have believe Moscow there. You
- 29:00Speaker 3: should have played this.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Band the Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on radio.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Is the boys light up Australian Crawl there on the
- 29:08Speaker 4: radio Hodarky Big Show this Friday afternoon? And boy boy,
- 29:12Speaker 4: we've got a musical legend in the studio with us fellows.
- 29:15Speaker 4: I don't know if you know that. Oh yeah, Jane's
- 29:18Speaker 4: rained from the band Australian Crawl and James, yes, are
- 29:22Speaker 4: you still going strong?
- 29:23Speaker 6: I'm still going stronger than ever and I'm not in
- 29:25Speaker 6: the band Australian.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Crawl and your soul I work? Of course I was
- 29:31Speaker 3: going to say very much.
- 29:32Speaker 6: Yeah, I still introduce as the lead singer of Australian Crow.
- 29:36Speaker 3: What happened to the band? Disband?
- 29:39Speaker 6: The band imploded? Blew up?
- 29:41Speaker 3: Can you tell me? Was it in a sort of
- 29:43Speaker 3: an ocean of alcohol and a mountain of drugs? That's
- 29:46Speaker 3: the best way to.
- 29:47Speaker 6: Slow it was. It was a rivulets of alcohol.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Right, yeah, was there any sort of was there any
- 29:53Speaker 4: love making involved?
- 29:55Speaker 1: Well, you know max styles between the band.
- 29:59Speaker 3: I can get very in you know what I mean.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Like with my group of friends, everyone ended up going
- 30:04Speaker 4: out with everyone else.
- 30:05Speaker 3: People got them.
- 30:08Speaker 6: We're not with other people's wives or girl from There
- 30:10Speaker 6: was only that going on, Okay, But people were having.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Relationships yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah they were. Yeah at the
- 30:16Speaker 3: end of any.
- 30:17Speaker 6: You know that went on, you know, healthy.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Healthy, Yeah yeah.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Well there was no sorry, no that you carry on, James.
- 30:26Speaker 6: No, there was no kind of you know, cheating or
- 30:29Speaker 6: any weird that stuff. That's what you're implying.
- 30:32Speaker 3: We implaying what I think what Jason is trying to
- 30:36Speaker 3: do here is normalized his own cheating behavior from a
- 30:39Speaker 3: similar time in his life. So he's trying to find
- 30:42Speaker 3: out if you were doing the same thing, and it's
- 30:43Speaker 3: disgraceful quite frankly.
- 30:45Speaker 6: I didn't cheat.
- 30:47Speaker 3: I was single form How rock and roll are you?
- 30:49Speaker 6: Man? I stayed single for most of them, right, Okay,
- 30:53Speaker 6: so it was you know.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Yeah, right, See, Jason, he's a guy that sleep at night.
- 30:57Speaker 1: He goes from relationship to relationship. He can't be single
- 31:00Speaker 1: like a barnacle that jumps from boats as they pass,
- 31:02Speaker 1: and they don't overlap at any point.
- 31:04Speaker 4: That might have been the case, James. But you know
- 31:10Speaker 4: it makes for an interesting life, doesn't it.
- 31:13Speaker 6: I don't know. I yeah, I'm sure it does. I
- 31:15Speaker 6: couldn't handle the stress fell me stress.
- 31:18Speaker 4: When you say, and I don't mean to dive into
- 31:21Speaker 4: your personal life for you when you say you went
- 31:24Speaker 4: in relationships. Was that a decision you made because it
- 31:27Speaker 4: interfered with your with your passion?
- 31:30Speaker 6: Well, I was in I was in a couple of
- 31:33Speaker 6: relationships when it started. I was in a relationship. Yes,
- 31:35Speaker 6: when the band that I was in called Australian Crawl
- 31:38Speaker 6: that I'm still I'm not the Loaded in nineteen eighty six. Yes,
- 31:44Speaker 6: I was in a relationship when that band started. But
- 31:47Speaker 6: then unfortunately this the the riggers of being on the road.
- 31:50Speaker 6: It didn't survive, the relationship didn't survive. Unfortunately. She was
- 31:53Speaker 6: a beautiful, wonderful woman.
- 31:55Speaker 3: That's that girl.
- 31:56Speaker 6: Man.
- 31:56Speaker 1: That's the common theme you see in any like biopic
- 31:58Speaker 1: of any band, right as they always have partners and
- 32:00Speaker 1: it's like we're going to stay together, We're going to
- 32:02Speaker 1: make this work, and it just never does.
- 32:04Speaker 6: It's very hard genuinely the yours said that. But it's
- 32:06Speaker 6: hard to make it work as you're and in those
- 32:08Speaker 6: days you you'd go over three months, you know, because
- 32:11Speaker 6: your touring all it's only playing five nights a week
- 32:13Speaker 6: all over, certainly in Australia and New Zealand, and so
- 32:18Speaker 6: you weren't home and there were you know, you're young,
- 32:22Speaker 6: ye and your rock and roll and your rock and roll,
- 32:25Speaker 6: you're playing the chains, many playing the chin.
- 32:28Speaker 4: You're a good looking philow too. I mean I say
- 32:30Speaker 4: that in a purely platonic way.
- 32:33Speaker 1: With your history, Jason, I just forgot you said before.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yea.
- 32:39Speaker 4: So how much time with your solo stuff and with
- 32:41Speaker 4: the band have you spend.
- 32:42Speaker 3: In New Zealand.
- 32:45Speaker 6: On occasion?
- 32:46Speaker 3: Quite a bit?
- 32:46Speaker 6: I mean we used we come here a bit and
- 32:48Speaker 6: then not come here for a while and then come
- 32:49Speaker 6: back a bit. But it's always been it's always in
- 32:53Speaker 6: our hearts. Let me say that, beautiful.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Well, we're brothers, aren't we.
- 32:57Speaker 6: We are brothers. We're across the sea, and of course
- 33:00Speaker 6: our band, Josh is in our band. Yes, And Josh
- 33:02Speaker 6: has a New Zealand background and now base player Andy
- 33:05Speaker 6: has a full New Zealand background and we're sort of
- 33:07Speaker 6: almost half New Zealand our band, then Zach, we are
- 33:11Speaker 6: we're true truly antick and Josh hasn't got a mic.
- 33:13Speaker 6: If you want to speak, you want to speak in
- 33:15Speaker 6: this one speaking.
- 33:17Speaker 8: Yeah, Josh, I just noticed on the on the bench
- 33:20Speaker 8: you've got Peter Snell signed week.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, that's right.
- 33:24Speaker 8: Tell the story well, Peter Snell four minute mile, yes,
- 33:27Speaker 8: and that happened is sixty three years ago now there
- 33:30Speaker 8: it is something like that, and Cook's Garden in Logan Union,
- 33:34Speaker 8: That's where I was born.
- 33:38Speaker 3: I just mean Peter.
- 33:39Speaker 8: Snell did the four minute mile it Cooks Garden in
- 33:42Speaker 8: So there you go. That's an interesting story right there
- 33:44Speaker 8: about that.
- 33:45Speaker 6: That's how local we are.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Yeah, totally very New Zealand. If you've just joined us.
- 33:49Speaker 1: We've got James Rain, former frontman of Ozzie Crawl, and
- 33:52Speaker 1: also Josh Owen and with us, you guys are playing
- 33:54Speaker 1: a gig tomorrow night at the Auckland Town Hall. James,
- 33:58Speaker 1: you were saying you were trying to remember if you've
- 33:59Speaker 1: ever played there before, do you like, because if I
- 34:02Speaker 1: would remember, if I played at the town Hall, I
- 34:03Speaker 1: would remember that for the rest of my life.
- 34:05Speaker 6: Well, maybe I haven't.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Maybe I have.
- 34:07Speaker 6: Maybe I haven't.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Genuinely, I know, I.
- 34:10Speaker 6: Keep hearing some great venue, so I probably haven't. To
- 34:13Speaker 6: be honest, I mean, last a few times I played it.
- 34:16Speaker 6: We played outdoor shows the first time I came here,
- 34:18Speaker 6: but we did. I did a show, was in that band.
- 34:20Speaker 6: I was no longer in the front man too with
- 34:23Speaker 6: Willie Nelson And yeah, we played here, but we played
- 34:28Speaker 6: the big what's the Big Park Springs and we played
- 34:32Speaker 6: the last show the police ever did at Western Springs.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Oh wow, what was Willy Nowson?
- 34:39Speaker 6: It was great? He was really good. They were really sweet.
- 34:41Speaker 6: We were kids, we were really young and we're onto.
- 34:45Speaker 6: It was them and Little River Band in US and
- 34:48Speaker 6: Willy had at the time his band. I remember at
- 34:51Speaker 6: the time his band. His drummer's name was Paul. His
- 34:54Speaker 6: nickname was Satan Okay, I think it was Satan. And
- 34:58Speaker 6: he played with Willy for twenty five years when we
- 35:00Speaker 6: found out going that's incredible. How do you play with
- 35:02Speaker 6: someone for twenty five years? But I think he's one
- 35:05Speaker 6: of his guitar players. They had the twenty five year
- 35:07Speaker 6: memory of tattoos of the Hell's Angels. Oh well, and
- 35:09Speaker 6: Hell's Angels joined the tour, right wow, which meant that
- 35:13Speaker 6: the another bike group of bikes joined the tour who
- 35:17Speaker 6: weren't friends with the Hell's Angels, so that made some
- 35:20Speaker 6: interesting There was an interesting kind of dust up at
- 35:22Speaker 6: Western Springs really at the gig.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, because there's the really famous one with it.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Was it the Hell's Angels in the States with the
- 35:27Speaker 1: rolling stones and stuff?
- 35:28Speaker 6: I've heard about that Altamont. Yeah, it was in seventy two,
- 35:31Speaker 6: I think that's right.
- 35:32Speaker 1: So we had our own version of that and you
- 35:33Speaker 1: were in the middle of it, just punching dudes.
- 35:36Speaker 6: Yeah, I was. I was No, I was just a kid.
- 35:40Speaker 6: We were standing, we were backstage and it all happened,
- 35:41Speaker 6: but we were watchingly, going, WHOA.
- 35:43Speaker 3: When it comes to your songwriting, I wanted to ask
- 35:46Speaker 3: you because I've heard there's a lot of great interviews
- 35:49Speaker 3: or there's interviews and there's points of views from great
- 35:51Speaker 3: songwriters like McCartney, Keith Richards and No Galluher from Oasis
- 35:56Speaker 3: all sort of feel the same thing, and that is
- 35:58Speaker 3: that songs already exist and you have to be there
- 36:01Speaker 3: to get them. No Gallagher sears it's like flesh and
- 36:04Speaker 3: he just picks up his guitar and he starts playing
- 36:05Speaker 3: and something will come along. And he has written so
- 36:09Speaker 3: many songs where he writes them an almost real time,
- 36:11Speaker 3: they just come straight through him. Have you had that
- 36:13Speaker 3: experience with with your songs?
- 36:15Speaker 6: Yes, I believe to a great to an extent, that
- 36:19Speaker 6: is true. And it really is this really odd, uncanny,
- 36:24Speaker 6: almost spiritual kind of thing that just suddenly happens in
- 36:27Speaker 6: a song, will kind of almost just fall out, you know,
- 36:29Speaker 6: and you're surprised. You go, what's happening? Yeah, that's weird,
- 36:33Speaker 6: that's how did that happen?
- 36:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 36:35Speaker 6: I mean when it happens a couple of times you
- 36:38Speaker 6: start to think about it. When it happens the first
- 36:39Speaker 6: few times, you're just doing it because but you really do,
- 36:43Speaker 6: and when you hear other people talk about it like that,
- 36:45Speaker 6: you think, yeah, I understand, I do understand that feeling.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Well, no, Galagher, see is he That's why he writes
- 36:51Speaker 3: so much because he's worried that if he doesn't go
- 36:53Speaker 3: down to the river, Bono will steal a song.
- 36:57Speaker 6: That's just a really good line. I got to use
- 37:01Speaker 6: that line because he's got a million.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Of Speaking of great songs, I believe you've got a
- 37:05Speaker 3: tune for us.
- 37:06Speaker 6: Well, speaking of the song I think we're going to play,
- 37:08Speaker 6: is that song? I never thought it was any good
- 37:10Speaker 6: because it wow took about as long as it takes
- 37:13Speaker 6: to play it. To write it. I just came out,
- 37:15Speaker 6: and I was it came out so seemingly, so easily,
- 37:20Speaker 6: And I would never put myself anywhere near the league
- 37:21Speaker 6: of the other people you mentioned, but this came out
- 37:23Speaker 6: so easily that I didn't think it was any good,
- 37:25Speaker 6: and I thought, lyrically, I thought it doesn't hang together,
- 37:28Speaker 6: and I thought I'll fix it up one day. One day,
- 37:30Speaker 6: I'll just go back and I don't know it's there,
- 37:33Speaker 6: and I'm just my inherent laziness. I never did and
- 37:36Speaker 6: I didn't really play it to anybody for about a
- 37:38Speaker 6: year and then someone, someone in the band heard it
- 37:40Speaker 6: and said, you know, we should record that, and really,
- 37:44Speaker 6: but it just went that is a classic. Well thanks,
- 37:48Speaker 6: do you want to play it?
- 37:49Speaker 3: Man?
- 37:50Speaker 1: What are they playing? Jayson?
- 37:52Speaker 3: Now, I'm going to ruin the surprise.
- 38:24Speaker 6: Eating me down by the jetty landing where the pontoons
- 38:32Speaker 6: bumping spray all the others read and standing as a
- 38:44Speaker 6: manly ferry cuts its way to circular case here the
- 38:55Speaker 6: captain blow is with so so long she's been away,
- 39:07Speaker 6: I miss sourling morning re so not say very happy
- 39:18Speaker 6: way to start in the day.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Sit. Ou't lie.
- 39:27Speaker 9: That can heavyhavey.
- 39:31Speaker 6: Shit.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Ou't lie.

- 40:25Speaker 9: That cannobyhavy, shet out lie that cannobyhavy.
- 40:34Speaker 3: Yah.
- 40:35Speaker 6: So throw down your gone, don't be so reckless, throw
- 40:45Speaker 6: down your gone, don't be so reclect.
- 41:22Speaker 2: She don't lie.

- 41:34Speaker 3: Yes, So.
- 41:37Speaker 6: Throw down your org gone. Don't be so reckless, throw

- 42:55Speaker 4: that we actually never got to that, and I'm really
- 42:58Speaker 4: fascinated to know what the outcome of that was.
- 43:01Speaker 1: All Right, So shampoo chat was I wash my hair
- 43:05Speaker 1: every night, Mike, I do it maybe once a month.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Ah and ja he never yeah, yeah, yeah. A lot
- 43:13Speaker 1: of people texting three on three four eight three. So
- 43:15Speaker 1: it turns out it is good content, is it? Doug
- 43:18Speaker 1: text Now that's going to be have to say, yeah, yeah,
- 43:23Speaker 1: I'm halfway through saying.
- 43:24Speaker 3: What Doug takes. Why don't we tease it with Doug
- 43:26Speaker 3: and people will know they're in for a good chat.
- 43:28Speaker 3: Give us Doug, then we'll go from there.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Hey, guys, what's the frequency and funk? Sorry, it's not
- 43:35Speaker 1: even related. Man.
- 43:39Speaker 2: The Hold Aching Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kezy
- 43:42Speaker 2: tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 43:45Speaker 3: I can sure is the biggest show. It's the big
- 43:47Speaker 3: Show brought to you by Reburger.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Handcrafted Burger's, loaded fries and Gorme eats. It will change
- 43:51Speaker 1: the game, you.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Fellas.
- 44:08Speaker 4: Incidentally, Oh, we had some Reburger today, the butter chicken Burger.
- 44:13Speaker 3: How good.
- 44:15Speaker 1: That's right. That's the one with crispy fried chicken tenders
- 44:17Speaker 1: dipped in a secret chili butter and cold and a
- 44:20Speaker 1: freshly ground spice mixed tops with a Reburger signature butter
- 44:23Speaker 1: chicken mayo.
- 44:24Speaker 3: I'll tell you what I did. I saved mine. I
- 44:28Speaker 3: saved it.
- 44:29Speaker 1: You still got it?
- 44:30Speaker 3: No, I went out there in some other bastard it
- 44:32Speaker 3: eatn't it? Can I just say on that front?
- 44:34Speaker 4: Yes, I chopped mine in half because they're massive for
- 44:38Speaker 4: a start, and I thought I left my other half
- 44:42Speaker 4: a little bit later on in the show, and then
- 44:44Speaker 4: I just went out there before to finish her off.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Gone Burger gone.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Nice use of gone burger there, that's really clever.
- 44:53Speaker 5: Jay.
- 44:53Speaker 3: Thanks man.
- 44:55Speaker 1: I watched you at your burger. First thing you did
- 44:58Speaker 1: was open it, so I'm actually really full. Cut it
- 45:00Speaker 1: in half, pulled the chicken out of it, and then
- 45:03Speaker 1: just pull the burger to pieces and just leave it
- 45:05Speaker 1: in a heap. It was a disgrace. You weren't saving it.
- 45:10Speaker 3: How well, that was exactly what I thought when we
- 45:13Speaker 3: went past it. About two hours later, I saw it
- 45:16Speaker 3: on the desk, opened up the other half. There was
- 45:18Speaker 3: a bit of chicken in there. I thought, I'll have that, bastard,
- 45:21Speaker 3: so I ate the fellad out of it, son of
- 45:23Speaker 3: a bitch. But there's still the bread there, which is
- 45:25Speaker 3: delicious red and I did partake as always heavily in
- 45:29Speaker 3: the fries.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it was delicious. Get along and get stuck in.
- 45:33Speaker 1: You can also get massala fried chicken tenders?
- 45:38Speaker 3: Was that what the little nuggies were?
- 45:40Speaker 5: Now?
- 45:40Speaker 1: Those are nuggies?
- 45:41Speaker 3: Well they's tenders.
- 45:42Speaker 1: There were tenders, do not have any?
- 45:44Speaker 3: I didn't see any tinders, but I just didn't get anything,
- 45:48Speaker 3: so standing can.
- 45:49Speaker 1: You say that gone burger joke again?
- 45:51Speaker 3: Gone burger?
- 45:53Speaker 2: The whole key big show was Jason, Mike, and Kyzy
- 45:56Speaker 2: tune in on radio.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Here on the radio ho Donkey Big Show this Friday
- 46:02Speaker 4: evening now Shadows. At the very start of the show,
- 46:05Speaker 4: we were talking about how often we wash our hair.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Oh is this shampoo chat?
- 46:09Speaker 3: Yes? And I don't know if you have been serious
- 46:14Speaker 3: or not keeasy, but you said you wash your hair
- 46:17Speaker 3: every day.
- 46:18Speaker 1: I wash my hair every day.
- 46:19Speaker 3: That is terrible for your hair.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Can I just say that strips oil from yours?
- 46:25Speaker 3: Just copying him and you were saying, Maggie, what was it?
- 46:30Speaker 3: Once a month? Probably once a month. Man, It's not
- 46:33Speaker 3: something that's a huge no prior. I mean once somebody.
- 46:37Speaker 3: If I am a Lits'm in an aisle at the
- 46:40Speaker 3: supermarket and somebody tells me that my hair is reeking
- 46:44Speaker 3: like a stranger, then maybe i'll wash it. Other than
- 46:47Speaker 3: that that, yeah, I.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Mean I watch it just because I'll put product in
- 46:51Speaker 1: my hair and I don't like having product on my pillow.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Oh really, but you won't, can't you just you don't
- 46:56Speaker 3: have to shampoo it. You can just rinse it. Just
- 46:58Speaker 3: rinse it with the whole order, will melt it totally.
- 47:01Speaker 4: It does, Okay, So because I'm going to be bold
- 47:04Speaker 4: as by the time you're like forty.
- 47:07Speaker 1: That's not You're not even forty at Jos. That's not
- 47:09Speaker 1: how baldness works totally.
- 47:11Speaker 3: It is man excessive shampooing you reckon? Yes, yeah, I
- 47:16Speaker 3: don't know, man, it says here because what would what
- 47:18Speaker 3: kind of here would you say you got? Guys, there's
- 47:20Speaker 3: options here? Would you like to hear them?
- 47:21Speaker 1: Are human?
- 47:23Speaker 3: Oily here?
- 47:24Speaker 1: That's j normal here, that's me.
- 47:26Speaker 3: Dry or curly that's me, that's you textured or lightly
- 47:30Speaker 3: coiled or totally coiled here, that's like a frow No,
- 47:33Speaker 3: no that And after a workout or sweaty boy, I'd say,
- 47:38Speaker 3: what are you? I think I've got like wavy thick
- 47:41Speaker 3: here like you like me? Yea every three to seven days,
- 47:45Speaker 3: no more, no more. Those heo types need to need
- 47:48Speaker 3: the natural oils for moisture, so less frequent washing helps
- 47:51Speaker 3: prevent dryness. Jas who's got super oily like he's really
- 47:55Speaker 3: greasy looking past.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Yeah, he's like like when my wife makes like a
- 47:59Speaker 1: pie and then she'll get like a paintbrush thing, dip
- 48:02Speaker 1: it in melted butter, and the peet the top of
- 48:04Speaker 1: the pipe. Jason's hair is like that paintbrush.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right.
- 48:07Speaker 4: It's like when you cook a pan of portmants day
- 48:11Speaker 4: and then all the oils just seep out of it. Yes,
- 48:13Speaker 4: and then you take the you take the portmants out
- 48:16Speaker 4: and put it in your tacos, for example.
- 48:18Speaker 3: There's just a pool of oil left.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Yeah, like that, and then Jason puts his togs on
- 48:22Speaker 1: it dives into it, and it's like that.
- 48:25Speaker 3: Yeah. But what I want to you, jays you should
- 48:27Speaker 3: be washing your hair every day or every two days.
- 48:30Speaker 4: Sure, But because we put it out to the audience,
- 48:33Speaker 4: what was the general tenor of the reply.
- 48:36Speaker 1: I have long hair that I wash every second day
- 48:38Speaker 1: and condition once a week. That's a bloke.
- 48:41Speaker 3: Yeah. It depends on the hair type, doesn't it, As
- 48:44Speaker 3: we've just learned.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Yeah, right, I never wash my hair. I have none.
- 48:48Speaker 4: Yeah, And can I just point out that I recently
- 48:51Speaker 4: had a haircut and the hairdresser refused to shave my
- 48:54Speaker 4: hair because he thought I had great hair, and he
- 48:57Speaker 4: also said I had very healthy here.
- 48:59Speaker 3: I agree. I think you've got great year. I think
- 49:01Speaker 3: you give yourself enough credit for a great year here,
- 49:03Speaker 3: So I think you've got the mess here in the world.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Here is the best in the world. What Jay best
- 49:07Speaker 1: in the world ain't number one, thank you, fellows.
- 49:10Speaker 3: And I never wash it, that's true, Oh I do
- 49:12Speaker 3: with hot water.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Obviously you're lying well.
- 49:15Speaker 4: I mean I'm standing under the shower and it's hot
- 49:18Speaker 4: and heat under it.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Why are you under the shower? I hop in my shower,
- 49:23Speaker 1: so you're like under the floorboards.
- 49:25Speaker 3: It's just getting stupid, now, kiezy.
- 49:28Speaker 1: I'll read another text of that.
- 49:29Speaker 3: It's all good.
- 49:29Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, it's just that guy asking for the frequency
- 49:33Speaker 1: and funk it a again.
- 49:35Speaker 2: For the Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on
- 49:38Speaker 2: Radio Darky.
- 49:39Speaker 4: I took monkeys there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 49:42Speaker 4: this Friday evening now. Earlier in the show also we
- 49:44Speaker 4: were talking about diamond rings and engagement rings.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Two hours ago, two hours ago.
- 49:48Speaker 3: But with that in mind.
- 49:49Speaker 4: Funnily enough, our good mates at Diamonds on Richmond have
- 49:53Speaker 4: got on board with a big show again and we've
- 49:55Speaker 4: got an eight thousand dollars engagement ring to give away
- 49:59Speaker 4: for you.
- 49:59Speaker 3: Quietly. It has been valued at fifty thousand dollars. You said,
- 50:03Speaker 3: you said it was half a million. You got a
- 50:05Speaker 3: terrible memory.
- 50:06Speaker 1: No, no, I've got a really good memory. You see
- 50:09Speaker 1: you say half a million dollars and now it's dropped
- 50:11Speaker 1: to fifty thousand.
- 50:12Speaker 3: Look, the diamond markets are all over the show at
- 50:14Speaker 3: the moment. I blame Trump, right, Okay, is it like
- 50:17Speaker 3: diamond tariffs? Yes, Jace, would you like to comment on.
- 50:21Speaker 5: That at all?

- 50:33Speaker 3: thousand dollars?
- 50:34Speaker 1: Oh, because it's valued at fifty thousand.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Well, and here's the thing. It's an engagement ring. So
- 50:39Speaker 3: how do you value thank you? Emotionally? It's worth a
- 50:43Speaker 3: million million dollars, possibly more, possibly less.
- 50:46Speaker 1: I think the one I gave to my wife emotionally
- 50:48Speaker 1: is worth a billion dollars.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Oh, I thought it looked a bit teddy. Actually, you
- 50:52Speaker 3: thought she would have been more excited about it and
- 50:54Speaker 3: not want to look forward to a new marriage that's
- 50:57Speaker 3: coming up.
- 50:58Speaker 1: That's a reference to two hours ago.

- 51:18Speaker 1: damage your knee. Do you reckon if you have a genius?
- 51:20Speaker 1: Do you if you had a ducky knee pad on?
- 51:22Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 51:23Speaker 1: And then you propose. Do you think that would take
- 51:24Speaker 1: away from the proposal or.
- 51:26Speaker 3: You're trying to fit in a little bit of a
- 51:28Speaker 3: yack in there, you know, a little bit of a
- 51:29Speaker 3: radio And then you'd have to explain it to her
- 51:32Speaker 3: and then once she got it, Oh, I mean she'd
- 51:34Speaker 3: just say yes straight away. I think. So I've got
- 51:36Speaker 3: two nudge pads at home. Why do you have two
- 51:39Speaker 3: knee pads? None of your business, keezy.
- 51:41Speaker 1: You spend a lot of time on your knees. Yes, sanding,

- 52:33Speaker 4: Yeah, Well I wasn't really paying attention to be honest. Hey,
- 52:37Speaker 4: let's give out some advice. Fellows sixteen.
- 52:45Speaker 1: At gmail dot com. Get in touch with the Feelers.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Real email address meet Petty Nips sixty anymous real email
- 52:55Speaker 1: address meet Petty Nips sixty nine at gmail dot com.
- 52:59Speaker 3: What it's not a anonymous I just get annoyed by
- 53:02Speaker 3: the anonymous. But I don't know.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Why do you want me to read the real names?
- 53:05Speaker 3: Well, I mean the email is an anonymous. It's a
- 53:07Speaker 3: real email.
- 53:08Speaker 1: No, it's a real email.
- 53:09Speaker 3: It's got a title, so it's not anonymous.
- 53:11Speaker 1: This one here says from anonymous. So they asked to
- 53:14Speaker 1: be anonymous, and we have promised they'll be anonymous.
- 53:17Speaker 3: So I think it's the word anonymous that annoys me.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Okay, this is from mystery person. Does that better?
- 53:26Speaker 3: It's really good. That's cool. And if you could do
- 53:28Speaker 3: that with your arms every time the people obviously.
- 53:30Speaker 1: Again a rainbow with my hands my head, mystery person,
- 53:34Speaker 1: it's really good, like SpongeBob. If you get the reference,
- 53:37Speaker 1: if you know, get a fellow's anonymous here yesterday.
- 53:41Speaker 3: Mystery person.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Ah, shit, mystery person, mystery person. Good a fellows mystery
- 53:48Speaker 1: person here yesterday, my cousin Wayne got married to his
- 53:52Speaker 1: now wife after being engaged for over a year. I
- 53:56Speaker 1: was disgusted to find out today that they eloped overseas
- 53:59Speaker 1: without telling anybody. Yeah, this upset me in the family
- 54:02Speaker 1: to say the least. Am I the wrong for thinking
- 54:04Speaker 1: that eloping is one of the most disgustingly selfish things
- 54:07Speaker 1: he could have done? Or am I just overacting because
- 54:09Speaker 1: I have now lost an opportunity to get on the
- 54:11Speaker 1: hammer all day for free. Yes, as mystery person, I
- 54:16Speaker 1: love this.
- 54:17Speaker 3: What do you know, Well, I've got an opinion on
- 54:19Speaker 3: this because we were going, my wife and I were going,
- 54:23Speaker 3: we were going to Elope. Yes, because it's just such
- 54:27Speaker 3: a punish the wedding, the planning, the costs, all those things,
- 54:31Speaker 3: and you sort of think to yourself, well, you could
- 54:33Speaker 3: you know, you could be investing this money anywhere else,
- 54:36Speaker 3: and can you please everybody? And blah blah blah. We
- 54:38Speaker 3: just well I want to, well just go, so we'll
- 54:39Speaker 3: go to Europe or something like that, you know what
- 54:41Speaker 3: I mean, kesy Man. And then we went to a
- 54:43Speaker 3: mate's wedding and it was magnificent. And what dawned on
- 54:47Speaker 3: us was that the wedding is actually not about you.
- 54:49Speaker 3: The wedding is about your famili's her family and your family,
- 54:53Speaker 3: and it's the bringing together of two families. But it's
- 54:56Speaker 3: also your opportunity to say thank you to your respective
- 54:59Speaker 3: family le for getting you to the point where you
- 55:02Speaker 3: are now marrying the person of your dreams or in
- 55:05Speaker 3: my wife's case, me old moggy, old mGy. Yes, So
- 55:10Speaker 3: it's sort of that for us. Once we once we
- 55:12Speaker 3: realize that, and we came to the same realization by
- 55:15Speaker 3: being at this wedding, then it's a lovely thing to do.
- 55:18Speaker 3: It's not about you, it's about your family, can I
- 55:20Speaker 3: just say? And that's definitely about your family, because you're
- 55:23Speaker 3: the one that pays for it all.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's tough, right, and there are situations
- 55:26Speaker 1: where like your parents might help pay or whatever it
- 55:28Speaker 1: might be.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Well, you know, my dad's dead.
- 55:32Speaker 1: You not talking about. What I was saying, was he
- 55:41Speaker 1: paid with his life. I wasn't saying that either. That's
- 55:46Speaker 1: not what I was saying, although I would have said
- 55:49Speaker 1: he paid the ultimate price. Yes I was, which I'm not.
- 55:55Speaker 1: What I was saying was when I I loved my wedding,
- 55:58Speaker 1: and when I looked out and saw, like, you know,
- 56:00Speaker 1: while everyone's dancing and having a good time, and you
- 56:01Speaker 1: see like my mates chatting to like my uncle, my
- 56:05Speaker 1: holy Chad, mogi're up in Auckland, well away from the
- 56:08Speaker 1: wedding because I didn't really know them that well at
- 56:10Speaker 1: the time. But when you see these people interacting, You're like,
- 56:13Speaker 1: oh wow, it's pretty cool, Like I never would have
- 56:15Speaker 1: thought I would have seen that person with that person.
- 56:17Speaker 4: And then one of your family members gets really steamed
- 56:21Speaker 4: and starts having to go to another family member, you know,
- 56:24Speaker 4: and that family member has got all that resentment there
- 56:27Speaker 4: from years ago. And then some of the young fellow's
- 56:31Speaker 4: smoker got too much gunga behind the bushes there and
- 56:34Speaker 4: they get hammered and make a spectacle of themselves and
- 56:37Speaker 4: throwing up in the corner of the of the sort
- 56:39Speaker 4: of wedding reception area.
- 56:41Speaker 3: And then there's someone.
- 56:42Speaker 4: Shagging and the bushes just totally you know, oblivious to
- 56:47Speaker 4: what's going on.
- 56:48Speaker 3: That sort of stuff.
- 56:49Speaker 2: This is the way an invite the Huriarchy Big Show
- 56:52Speaker 2: week days from four on Radio Hdarchy.
- 57:03Speaker 4: Well there you get your mad bards. That's a big
- 57:05Speaker 4: show done and dusted this Friday. And indeed for the
- 57:07Speaker 4: week fellows, question for you you're getting on at this weekend?
- 57:10Speaker 3: Wow, fellowose fellows. I'm three weeks deep in my sobriety. Yeah,
- 57:14Speaker 3: you know, I've got some mates that have come to stay. Yeah.
- 57:18Speaker 3: And I said to the Missus they're bringing gin Yeah,
- 57:21Speaker 3: I said, because the Missus is doing it with me.
- 57:23Speaker 3: We're staying sober until Fiji. Yes. And I've had a
- 57:26Speaker 3: text message saying I'm on the gins. Bring home some lemons,
- 57:32Speaker 3: some lemons, yes, and some tonic that sounds great, and
- 57:37Speaker 3: a couple of bags of you know chaps, yeah.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Nose chips. No, just joking the fellas, fellas, We're just
- 57:51Speaker 1: joking about the.
- 57:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 57:56Speaker 3: No, an actual fact. I don't even know why I'm asked.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Of course you are well to be honest. Tomorrow night's
- 58:02Speaker 1: euro Night at a house atay so hot.
- 58:06Speaker 3: Do you know what it is? It's I get Eurovision
- 58:09Speaker 3: in my head the song competition that they have, which
- 58:12Speaker 3: is really sort of camp and I just I'm seeing
- 58:15Speaker 3: you dancing around your land.
- 58:16Speaker 4: I get it weirdly like bondage outfits and some sort
- 58:21Speaker 4: of really weird kinky euro.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Action, right, what does that mean? Euro Action? Do you
- 58:27Speaker 1: even know what euro Action is?
- 58:28Speaker 3: You know what they do on the dungeons in Germany?
- 58:30Speaker 3: Wet it?
- 58:31Speaker 1: Yeah, he hasn't been dungeons Germany. There's no dungeons in Germany.
- 58:38Speaker 4: Hey.

- 58:58Speaker 1: an Imperial.
- 58:58Speaker 3: Olivetti, Oh, the Olivetty classic.
- 59:02Speaker 1: For Jiz to pump out some poetry, that's what Mike
- 59:04Speaker 1: Minogue said yeah, and then I was expecting that. Yeah,
- 59:08Speaker 1: And then Ja said totally. The words have been piling
- 59:10Speaker 1: up for years. And then Mike said, start with one
- 59:13Speaker 1: about you writing a bumblebee and then I said, between
- 59:16Speaker 1: that and your piano, you'll be so busy. And then
- 59:19Speaker 1: Mike said another thing. You can sell it a year
- 59:21Speaker 1: as new and Jay said, you may laugh, Fellers, but
- 59:25Speaker 1: it cemented my retirement plans. In the meantime, just focus
- 59:29Speaker 1: on some content a fellas. It was an insight into the.
- 59:37Speaker 3: It was a great chair. It's a great chat.

- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Yeah, you hold down.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Your finger on it, yes, and then stop your foot
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: three times.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Three times, and then say candy man three times okay,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: and then shove your phone up your ass.
