- 0:00Speaker 1: Ashcraft strikes him out.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Wow, Wow, struck him out?
- 0:03Speaker 1: Looking Ashcraft just dispatches the Twins.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Another quality start.
- 0:08Speaker 4: Just a masterpiece on how to pitch.
- 0:12Speaker 5: Great name, great Arsenal, brax and Ashcraft joining us right now,
- 0:15Speaker 5: perhaps taking us on a little tour. Braxing, great to
- 0:17Speaker 5: have you on the show. Dude, Where are we going
- 0:19Speaker 5: right now? Where are you taking us?
- 0:20Speaker 6: I'm on the way to the field right now, this early,
- 0:24Speaker 6: this afternoon, so i'd to get a little bit earlier.
- 0:29Speaker 7: Now, do you park in the players parking?
- 0:31Speaker 8: Because uh, hey J Burnett, Hey, J Burnett parked in
- 0:37Speaker 8: Bob Nutting spot back in the day, so I didn't
- 0:39Speaker 8: know if you were there yet.
- 0:41Speaker 3: No, we're in.
- 0:42Speaker 6: We're in Houston now, so just a little afternoon stroll
- 0:45Speaker 6: with little rain and on the forecast, No big deal.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Why do you throw a bullpen?
- 0:51Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 0:52Speaker 1: Wait, wait, throwing a bullpen? Don't you throw enough?
- 0:57Speaker 3: That's what they say, you know, just checking boxes?
- 1:00Speaker 7: Jack. Is it useful though? Is it useful?
- 1:03Speaker 8: Because some teams are going to the I think it's
- 1:05Speaker 8: the Marlins are going to the pitch shaping schematic for
- 1:11Speaker 8: their bullpen where they throw on the mound and they're
- 1:13Speaker 8: doing stuff. Actually the hitters on the mound, in the
- 1:16Speaker 8: in the stadium and not just in the bullpen, they're
- 1:19Speaker 8: underneath what they got in Houston.
- 1:22Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, I find a lot of value in it.
- 1:25Speaker 6: It's a it's an opportunity for us to you know,
- 1:28Speaker 6: take time to recognize the things that we did really
- 1:30Speaker 6: well versus the things that it did not so well
- 1:33Speaker 6: in the previous otting. And sometimes like we'll have some
- 1:38Speaker 6: guys stand in like if I'm trying to, you know,
- 1:39Speaker 6: work on the inside part of the plate, per se,
- 1:42Speaker 6: or spend the ball on the zone strike one and
- 1:46Speaker 6: then spend the ball arizon strike three. Just certain things
- 1:50Speaker 6: to kind of get the It's more of a confidence
- 1:53Speaker 6: thing for me. Like at this point in the season,
- 1:55Speaker 6: the arsenal is what it is. It's pretty good. I
- 1:58Speaker 6: think that everybody in the league can say that about
- 2:01Speaker 6: you know, whether as a pitcher. We're not developing new
- 2:03Speaker 6: pitches for the most part, I'm just trying to refine
- 2:06Speaker 6: the stuff that we have. So for me, it's just
- 2:08Speaker 6: a really good opportunity to do that in between weeks
- 2:10Speaker 6: and when you have an extra day with an off
- 2:13Speaker 6: day like we had Monday, just a different opportunity to
- 2:17Speaker 6: maybe get on stuff a little bit more and work
- 2:19Speaker 6: on stuff a little bit better.
- 2:20Speaker 3: And yeah, I find a lot of value in it.
- 2:23Speaker 8: What at the intent of a bullpen because your your
- 2:26Speaker 8: intent level. Because when I when I finished playing, is
- 2:29Speaker 8: when they started bringing all the track men out for
- 2:31Speaker 8: the bullpen and they had the iPad, and I'm like, oh.
- 2:34Speaker 7: Man, like, relax, we don't need to see ninety eight
- 2:36Speaker 7: in your pen.
- 2:37Speaker 8: We don't need to see Or is your is your
- 2:39Speaker 8: intent full tilt twenty to twenty five pitches? Or do
- 2:44Speaker 8: you get up there? Are you an overthrower? And do
- 2:45Speaker 8: you throw fifty pitches in your pen?
- 2:48Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:48Speaker 6: I think that Again, it's completely contingent on how I
- 2:52Speaker 6: feel that turn, right, So like if it's a you know,
- 2:55Speaker 6: the last trusch we have at thirteen or fourteen games straight,
- 2:58Speaker 6: three five days in a row, you might take some
- 3:01Speaker 6: off of the bullpen. So a few less pitches was
- 3:04Speaker 6: a little bit different. Intent, not necessarily intent, but intensity.
- 3:09Speaker 6: I think that those two words are very strong just
- 3:13Speaker 6: in terms of how you go about your work. If
- 3:16Speaker 6: your intent is always good, it doesn't really matter what
- 3:17Speaker 6: the intensity is. So I think, you know, you listen
- 3:23Speaker 6: to your body unless your body tell you kind of
- 3:25Speaker 6: what you're going to be at for that good of day.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Are you done walking out because I'm I was starting
- 3:33Speaker 1: to get seasick there for a second. Sorry.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, since you're you know, it's fine.
- 3:39Speaker 1: But since you're in Houston, I'm gonna change the subject.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I just got asked this, Are you going to get
- 3:44Speaker 1: one of the paintings made of you? That the guy
- 3:46Speaker 1: comes in in Houston and asks everybody to get a painting?
- 3:49Speaker 1: You make a painting? Will you get a paint I forget,
- 3:51Speaker 1: I think it seems alie, but he'll come in there
- 3:53Speaker 1: and make a painting. Is he asked you yet to
- 3:55Speaker 1: get a painting?
- 3:56Speaker 6: No, I haven't heard of that. But I'm not really
- 4:00Speaker 6: a sentimental guy. I don't really I don't have many keepsakes.
- 4:04Speaker 6: But I know that my wife and my mom would
- 4:06Speaker 6: probably really enjoy that. So if he does come in,
- 4:09Speaker 6: I might I might take him up on that.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, he's there like every day. I'm sure Krats
- 4:13Speaker 1: knows who he is. I'm sure Crats pry Kratspray has
- 4:15Speaker 1: a couple of pictures of him, so one over his bed.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I think of himself like with hair back in the.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Day, so does on the ceiling or something.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Yes, exactly. Instead of a mirror, he has a picture
- 4:25Speaker 1: of himself. So he's look, it's fine. I'm jealous of
- 4:29Speaker 1: that actually, if you can do that. But here, here,
- 4:31Speaker 1: here's my question for you. The pirates have developed pictures
- 4:36Speaker 1: as well as anybody. When you when you look at
- 4:38Speaker 1: Schemes and yourself and Jared Jones and Bubba Chandler and
- 4:42Speaker 1: the list goes on and on. What do they do
- 4:43Speaker 1: that makes it so special for pictures, especially in their development.
- 4:51Speaker 6: You asked me this question two years ago, my answer
- 4:53Speaker 6: would probably be different. But looking at it now, being
- 4:58Speaker 6: in the big leagues, having success in the big league,
- 5:00Speaker 6: seeing guys around and have success in the big leagues,
- 5:02Speaker 6: I think that the biggest thing that you know, we
- 5:04Speaker 6: do well as an organization is just kind of give
- 5:08Speaker 6: guys autonomy to explore and explore within reason, but explore
- 5:14Speaker 6: most amongst each other through conversation, you know, pitch shape,
- 5:18Speaker 6: pitch design, pitch the tent. What are we trying to
- 5:20Speaker 6: get out of this pitch? What are we trying to
- 5:22Speaker 6: get out of these counts?
- 5:25Speaker 3: Just oh oh.
- 5:28Speaker 6: One one to to even counts disadvantage accounts advantage accounts
- 5:32Speaker 6: like what is our thought process going through that? And
- 5:35Speaker 6: I think the conversation not necessarily strictly amongst player to coach,
- 5:41Speaker 6: but player to coach the other player. I think that
- 5:44Speaker 6: we do a really good job of that because we
- 5:46Speaker 6: are all kind of homegroun guys and have built long
- 5:49Speaker 6: standing relationships with each other over the last few years,
- 5:53Speaker 6: some of us longer than other than others. But the
- 5:56Speaker 6: relationship amongst each other is really strong, and the trust
- 5:59Speaker 6: any each other is really strong, and being able to
- 6:02Speaker 6: have those conversations and not have one or two pitching coaches,
- 6:05Speaker 6: but have you know a whole group of you know,
- 6:07Speaker 6: thirteen guys that lean on each other's experiences, leaning on
- 6:13Speaker 6: what we all do well and try and bridge the
- 6:16Speaker 6: gap between what we might not do not do so
- 6:19Speaker 6: well and identify that and other other guys and try
- 6:23Speaker 6: and lean on that hard right.
- 6:25Speaker 8: I want to you said if you had asked me
- 6:27Speaker 8: this two years ago. I want to hear what your
- 6:29Speaker 8: answer would be. But I also want to preface it
- 6:31Speaker 8: by saying, Paul Skeens was a unit before he came
- 6:35Speaker 8: to the Pirates. Rex to Nashgraft was a unit before
- 6:38Speaker 8: he came to the Pirates. Bubba Chandler was throwing a
- 6:40Speaker 8: billion before he came to the Pirates. Mitch Keller, do
- 6:43Speaker 8: you feel like sometimes, like when you're lumped into an organization,
- 6:47Speaker 8: like you can like it, is it unfair to say
- 6:50Speaker 8: I was really good before I got to the Pirates.
- 6:53Speaker 8: Maybe the Pirates just got lucky to get me.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I don't know. If you've seen the
- 6:59Speaker 3: minor league numbers, I wouldn't. Uh, I wouldn't. I wouldn't.
- 7:05Speaker 6: I mean until that, Tommy John, I wasn't. Like I
- 7:09Speaker 6: can't confidently say that I could look myself from the
- 7:11Speaker 6: mirror and be a big leaguer. You know, we we
- 7:16Speaker 6: have a really strong group of guys down in Florida
- 7:19Speaker 6: that are very informative, very encouraging, create a good environment
- 7:24Speaker 6: through the rehab process, and a lot of guys that
- 7:27Speaker 6: have experienced that I think would confidently say the same
- 7:32Speaker 6: what I mean by like that two years ago. I
- 7:34Speaker 6: think that again through the conversation with guys that have
- 7:37Speaker 6: been here, done it, been around the game. It it
- 7:41Speaker 6: allows for a lot of fast maturity.
- 7:44Speaker 3: In the game.
- 7:47Speaker 6: And what I mean by that is, like, you know,
- 7:50Speaker 6: I think you, like some people look across the league
- 7:52Speaker 6: that might not have as much i mean knowledge of
- 7:55Speaker 6: baseball and to say, oh, this guy is the best
- 7:57Speaker 6: stuff in the world.
- 7:57Speaker 3: He's going to be successful. And that's always the case.
- 8:00Speaker 6: It's it's the process that we have, the competition in
- 8:06Speaker 6: the process, Like nobody wants to be out work by
- 8:08Speaker 6: anybody here. And uh so we come in, you know, early,
- 8:12Speaker 6: we come in, stay late, and we're moving around all
- 8:16Speaker 6: day long, just so that we can look at each
- 8:18Speaker 6: other and say, I worked harder and need today. I
- 8:21Speaker 6: think that's a testament to the group of guys we
- 8:22Speaker 6: have here in the in the environment that Murphys set,
- 8:26Speaker 6: DK set. You know, Mitch has been here probably the
- 8:30Speaker 6: longest in terms of we're definitely the longest in terms
- 8:34Speaker 6: of guys on the staff, and and he sets that
- 8:37Speaker 6: precedent for us and starting rotation and and and Paul
- 8:40Speaker 6: came in and you know, he.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Is who he is, and there's no secret about that.
- 8:46Speaker 6: And so I think that I mean, I can't necessarious
- 8:49Speaker 6: speak for the reliever group as much as I probably
- 8:52Speaker 6: could last year, but the people that we surround ourselves
- 8:56Speaker 6: with here, it's such a strong group. And and two
- 9:01Speaker 6: years ago, I didn't know what hard work within the
- 9:05Speaker 6: game quality work within the game net. And so you know,
- 9:08Speaker 6: we have a group here that allows us to do that,
- 9:10Speaker 6: and it's a it's a We're pretty fortunate to be
- 9:13Speaker 6: a part of it.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Kratz.
- 9:16Speaker 3: I know you love dad jokes.
- 9:17Speaker 2: This is not a joke.
- 9:19Speaker 5: Ridges five and one Travel Power Bank is the answer
- 9:22Speaker 5: to all of your messy wires all over the place issues.
- 9:26Speaker 7: Yeah, one hundred percent. I don't need more tube socks.
- 9:28Speaker 8: I need this because somebody is going to use my
- 9:31Speaker 8: phone that I fully charged and then dies halfway through
- 9:34Speaker 8: the softball game that I go to. So this will
- 9:36Speaker 8: lock it in and my friend next to me who
- 9:39Speaker 8: forgot to charge his phone.

- 10:19Speaker 1: Praxon. I want to know about your usage because you
- 10:21Speaker 1: go on your usage page on like Savant and you're
- 10:24Speaker 1: basically fifty to fifty fastball, curveball, slider, fastball, breaking ball. Really,
- 10:30Speaker 1: how do you get to that point? Do you just
- 10:32Speaker 1: trust your breaking balls that much and it's kind of
- 10:34Speaker 1: a new thing in Major league baseball? Or do the
- 10:36Speaker 1: pirates come to you and say, hey, we really love
- 10:38Speaker 1: your breaking pitches. If you threw those more, it would
- 10:41Speaker 1: help your success.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Yeah. I think the easy answer there is whatever's working,
- 10:45Speaker 3: throw it.
- 10:47Speaker 6: But you know, whenever I first started, whenever I first
- 10:50Speaker 6: got drafted, there's a big emphasis on pitching with your fastball.
- 10:53Speaker 3: And on the whole idea.
- 10:55Speaker 6: If you can't be a major league pitcher unless you
- 10:57Speaker 6: are confident in pitching with your five small first and you.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Know, this year, a lot of the a lot of.
- 11:05Speaker 6: The focus has been on throwing the offspiece stuff. To
- 11:10Speaker 6: get back to the for scene, get back to the scener,
- 11:12Speaker 6: get back to the hard stuff to create space. And
- 11:17Speaker 6: you know, I have two breaking balls that had performed
- 11:20Speaker 6: pretty well this year and last year as well. Just
- 11:24Speaker 6: making sure that nothing bleeds them to the other pitch,
- 11:27Speaker 6: nothing takes away from other pitches, and going back to
- 11:30Speaker 6: you know, why do we throw bullpens.
- 11:31Speaker 3: That's a big reason for it.
- 11:34Speaker 6: You know, like making sure that you can bounce from
- 11:36Speaker 6: pitch to pitch, be able to be in the zone,
- 11:39Speaker 6: strike to strike, strike the ball at will, and eliminating
- 11:44Speaker 6: just non competitive pitches in general. You know, there's there's
- 11:48Speaker 6: a difference in like going inside on somebody and off
- 11:51Speaker 6: moving feet, moving hands, moving eyes and then just yanking
- 11:55Speaker 6: one across the across the plate and throwing more or
- 11:59Speaker 6: less a wild pitch and side. Those pitches inside like
- 12:02Speaker 6: that are not competitive. The pitches that you drive on
- 12:05Speaker 6: mow feet, moved hands, without moved eyes, those are super competitive.
- 12:08Speaker 3: It's set up the next pitch. So it's just.
- 12:11Speaker 6: The usage is not necessarily we go into a game
- 12:14Speaker 6: and say, hey, we're gonna rely heavy on per ball, sliders,
- 12:17Speaker 6: what have you is it's what is the game tell
- 12:19Speaker 6: us that we can do in that moment from the
- 12:22Speaker 6: first pitch of the pregame pen, what's feeling good, what's
- 12:25Speaker 6: repeatable to you know, the first pitch of the fifth inning?
- 12:29Speaker 3: You know, Henry Joey and they they all do a
- 12:31Speaker 3: really good job of recognizing that.
- 12:33Speaker 6: They spend a lot of time having conversations with us
- 12:36Speaker 6: playing catch this, you know, watching video and understanding how
- 12:41Speaker 6: arsenal works and when one thing might be deficient, what
- 12:44Speaker 6: picks up the slack.
- 12:46Speaker 3: But at the end of the day, it's just if
- 12:48Speaker 3: it's if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
- 12:50Speaker 6: And that changes, like the arsenal changes throughout games based
- 12:54Speaker 6: on game situations, based on game plans that other teams
- 12:56Speaker 6: might put together for me, not just me, but everybody.
- 13:01Speaker 3: And then how do we attack guys based off of that?
- 13:04Speaker 6: And I think that those guys do a really good
- 13:06Speaker 6: job of identifying that early and putting us in good
- 13:09Speaker 6: positions to put together really competitive at bats.
- 13:13Speaker 8: I got a two part question that's both on schemes.
- 13:16Speaker 8: Last year, you made eight starts. I'm not sure if
- 13:18Speaker 8: they were openers or what it was, but you were
- 13:20Speaker 8: in a pen or how they were using you. Did
- 13:23Speaker 8: Paul Skins treat you differently because you were kind of
- 13:26Speaker 8: a bullpen starter kind of guy. And if he didn't,
- 13:30Speaker 8: what is the one thing that he's not good at?
- 13:32Speaker 8: Because everybody looks at Paul Skins and they're like, oh,
- 13:34Speaker 8: he's the best, He's unbelievable. But us teammates and rotation
- 13:38Speaker 8: mates know what is true like kryptonite or what he's
- 13:43Speaker 8: not good at.
- 13:45Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, we lived together last year, so we've
- 13:48Speaker 6: maintaining since he got drafted was a twenty three. You know,
- 13:53Speaker 6: he came out to Double A and and that's where
- 13:56Speaker 6: I was finishing up and I was getting to the
- 13:59Speaker 6: end of the road and what they wanted to throw
- 14:01Speaker 6: that year, so we were both shut down at the
- 14:03Speaker 6: same time. Spend a lot of time together and kind
- 14:06Speaker 6: of initiated that of a pretty good relationship. And then
- 14:11Speaker 6: you know, last year spring training spent some time together,
- 14:14Speaker 6: and then our two years ago spring training spent some
- 14:16Speaker 6: time together.
- 14:17Speaker 3: And then.
- 14:19Speaker 6: You know, and last year when I came up, he
- 14:21Speaker 6: had an open bedroom and offer it to me, and
- 14:24Speaker 6: so okay, so we spent we spent a lot of
- 14:26Speaker 6: time together the last couple of years and have developed
- 14:29Speaker 6: a pretty good relationship. But you know, but I mean,
- 14:35Speaker 6: in terms of things that does bad. It's hard to
- 14:38Speaker 6: it's hard to put a finger on it. Right, Like
- 14:41Speaker 6: Cyon last year, Rookie of the Year the year before,
- 14:43Speaker 6: started both All Star games, just unbelievable talent and goes
- 14:48Speaker 6: about his work and in a super professional way. But
- 14:52Speaker 6: you know, I was tell him if there's one thing, like, dude,
- 14:56Speaker 6: just take a day.
- 14:57Speaker 3: It's just take a day.
- 14:58Speaker 6: These all days are valuable and uh and and it's
- 15:03Speaker 6: nice to be able to separate from the game a
- 15:05Speaker 6: little bit. But you know, each player is different, right,
- 15:09Speaker 6: Like I if there's a day that I can take off,
- 15:12Speaker 6: but I'm taking it off, I'd have my a few
- 15:14Speaker 6: cold ones, might might go play some golf, you know,
- 15:18Speaker 6: might spend some time with my wife. I am I. Uh,
- 15:22Speaker 6: you know, I love my off days. But Paul loves
- 15:25Speaker 6: the game more than he loves an office. And whether
- 15:29Speaker 6: or not that's bad, I don't know. I know if
- 15:31Speaker 6: I did it, it would be pretty exhausting. But you know,
- 15:35Speaker 6: you look at him and it's hard not to say
- 15:36Speaker 6: he's the best pitch in the world. He proved it
- 15:39Speaker 6: last year and he's on his way again to proved
- 15:41Speaker 6: it this year. But you know, I try and tell
- 15:45Speaker 6: him all the time that he's got to we have
- 15:48Speaker 6: a little thing and the UH and the pretty starters.
- 15:52Speaker 6: It's like an outline of Pittsburgh and they have vill
- 15:55Speaker 6: pro with all five of us and uh's kind of
- 15:58Speaker 6: one up at each other. And each time one of
- 16:00Speaker 6: us is at the top, whether it's Mitch myself, you know,
- 16:04Speaker 6: Carla and Mount Jared, Bubba, whoever's at the top. Paul, like,
- 16:10Speaker 6: it's just don't get used to it. So you know
- 16:13Speaker 6: with him, it's it's even amongst all this, it's just
- 16:15Speaker 6: a we're all trying to one up each other. We're
- 16:17Speaker 6: all trying to be the best one in rotation, but
- 16:20Speaker 6: at the same time, you know, hoping to have to
- 16:23Speaker 6: outdo somebody.
- 16:25Speaker 1: There's got to be something. He snores, he's a bad cook,
- 16:28Speaker 1: there's got it. Come on, there's got to be something
- 16:29Speaker 1: more than he works too hard.
- 16:31Speaker 7: There's got it.
- 16:32Speaker 3: I don't think he drinks enough beer.
- 16:34Speaker 6: I don't think you know, you know, it's just like, man,
- 16:39Speaker 6: it's it's so hard to it's so hard to place
- 16:41Speaker 6: that on somebody, Like, I mean, there's there's you.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Know, you have the you have the idea right where.
- 16:51Speaker 6: You go into a job interview and you say my
- 16:53Speaker 6: worst my my worst strength, or my the worst thing
- 16:57Speaker 6: about me is that I worked too hard. The worst
- 16:59Speaker 6: thing about me is that I play too much value
- 17:01Speaker 6: on work. And really and truly, when when you look
- 17:03Speaker 6: at the way Paul goes about his work and does everything,
- 17:06Speaker 6: everything is tailored towards being the best picture in the world,
- 17:10Speaker 6: from the way that he eats, from the way that
- 17:11Speaker 6: he spends his off time. Like during baseball season, I
- 17:17Speaker 6: don't have much contact really anybody. In the off season.
- 17:20Speaker 6: I like to shut shut the whole world off and
- 17:23Speaker 6: and kind of slide into a cave with my wife
- 17:25Speaker 6: and family and now my daughter on the way. Like
- 17:28Speaker 6: so I can't really speak to the off season very much.
- 17:31Speaker 6: But during the season, yeah, it's it's one single goal,
- 17:34Speaker 6: and that's being the best player in the world. And
- 17:36Speaker 6: I think it's it's it's wearing off on me a
- 17:38Speaker 6: little bit, wearing off on everybody and this on this team,
- 17:42Speaker 6: and you see the property play off the field.
- 17:46Speaker 1: That's awesome. That's that's that's awesome. It's awesome to hear
- 17:49Speaker 1: that every you guys work hard together and you guys
- 17:52Speaker 1: are rubbing, rubbing off on each other. Now let's go
- 17:54Speaker 1: to the other you know, young stud on the Pittsburgh Pirates.
- 17:57Speaker 1: What is Cole? What is Connor Griffin's big miss in
- 18:00Speaker 1: his life? How much time have you spent with him?
- 18:02Speaker 1: And what's his big miss? Does he not drinking up
- 18:04Speaker 1: beer because he's not old enough?
- 18:06Speaker 3: Hey?
- 18:07Speaker 6: You know we uh we uh, I don't know what
- 18:09Speaker 6: you'll feel about cursing on this show, but okay, good, Yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 6: there's so like you know, ground balls and then filled
- 18:19Speaker 6: everybody else shuter, you know, and and you know he
- 18:22Speaker 6: doesn't he has standards that he has in his life
- 18:25Speaker 6: and in a way that he wants to carry himself.
- 18:27Speaker 6: And he doesn't swear, and you know, so we were
- 18:31Speaker 6: I think we might change our change our little verbige
- 18:34Speaker 6: in here to pooper just to protect him, you know.
- 18:37Speaker 6: But yeah, like sweep of series new shots, he's doing
- 18:41Speaker 6: cherry Juice. But yeah, I think that, you know, the
- 18:44Speaker 6: biggest thing is like learning how to be a big leaguer,
- 18:47Speaker 6: learning learning the value and watching the game versus you know, selling.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Out to.
- 18:53Speaker 6: You know, like right, like we're all we're all so
- 18:57Speaker 6: committed to our process, right like you guys have been
- 18:59Speaker 6: big leaguers. Uh, you know how important a processes and
- 19:04Speaker 6: like selling out to the process versus you know, watching
- 19:10Speaker 6: the game and letting the game dictate how you go
- 19:12Speaker 6: about your process in some ways. And you know, it's
- 19:15Speaker 6: it's there's so much access to so much information, whether
- 19:19Speaker 6: you're in the dugout, post game, you know, pre game,
- 19:24Speaker 6: there's slow Moo videos everywhere. And I think that not
- 19:30Speaker 6: just for him, but for a lot of guys myself included,
- 19:33Speaker 6: like sometimes just putting the iPad down and letting their
- 19:36Speaker 6: eyes tell you what you need to do. I think
- 19:38Speaker 6: that's that's one of the that's one of the biggest
- 19:41Speaker 6: things I've learned from Fall, honestly, is you know, we
- 19:43Speaker 6: have all this we have all this access to technology,
- 19:46Speaker 6: but sometimes the best technology is your own eyes and
- 19:49Speaker 6: the eyes of the people you trust and see you
- 19:51Speaker 6: throw every day. And you know, it worked for work
- 19:54Speaker 6: for a lot of a lot of people way back
- 19:56Speaker 6: in the day that have records that nobody will ever touch.
- 19:59Speaker 6: Right the everybody went away from ice for a little bit.
- 20:02Speaker 6: Now we're kind of all back on the ice in
- 20:04Speaker 6: the arm and and.
- 20:06Speaker 3: And doing stuff like that.
- 20:07Speaker 6: Like so, you know, there's there's a lot of things
- 20:10Speaker 6: that the game and medicine has told us to go
- 20:13Speaker 6: away from but it's hard to It's hard to.
- 20:18Speaker 3: It's hard to deny the.
- 20:18Speaker 6: Fact that, yeah, guys like Nolan Ryan going out and
- 20:20Speaker 6: going turn twenty two and fifty innings a year, he
- 20:24Speaker 6: just hades his arm and during a couple of coldman's
- 20:26Speaker 6: after a game.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Like that. I think there's a lot to that.
- 20:30Speaker 6: Granted, like if you can merge those two there's two
- 20:32Speaker 6: lines that thinking into one and kind of take the
- 20:36Speaker 6: best of both of them, it offers a lot of
- 20:38Speaker 6: opportunity to put yourself in a better position to be successful.
- 20:41Speaker 6: So I'd say just with Connor, putting the foot of
- 20:44Speaker 6: the iPads down sometimes and watching the game and seeing
- 20:47Speaker 6: how guys are, guys are, like right handed hitters are
- 20:52Speaker 6: being pitched and just kind of talking through situations rather
- 20:56Speaker 6: than kind of staring at an iPad and tell your
- 20:59Speaker 6: eyes bleed, you know. He it's kind of a joke
- 21:02Speaker 6: amongst us, like it's hard to say that whenever he's
- 21:04Speaker 6: been one of the best hitters in the baseball for
- 21:05Speaker 6: the past month, month and a half until he got injured.
- 21:09Speaker 6: But you know, that's the other thing too, is just
- 21:12Speaker 6: taking professional reps during the day, like the workload in
- 21:16Speaker 6: the big league is a lot different than the workload
- 21:18Speaker 6: in the minor leagues, and being able to kind of
- 21:22Speaker 6: throttle yourself and probably your output throughout throughout the week
- 21:26Speaker 6: is super important. Just when you look at Longevity, because
- 21:30Speaker 6: he is an everyday player, I think that he has
- 21:32Speaker 6: the opportunity to to be one of the best players
- 21:34Speaker 6: this game has ever seen. The Pirates obviously think that
- 21:37Speaker 6: in the commitment they made to him, and I know
- 21:38Speaker 6: that we all think that unanimously, unanimously across the clubhouse.
- 21:42Speaker 6: So there's a lot of belief on him. And it's just,
- 21:44Speaker 6: you know, learning how to be a big leaguer, learning
- 21:47Speaker 6: how to.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Be the best leaguer that he can be. And I
- 21:50Speaker 3: don't think anybody can tell him that.
- 21:52Speaker 6: I think experience will tell him that he'll be able
- 21:54Speaker 6: to final works for him and you know he'll he'll
- 22:01Speaker 6: turn into the player everybody knows that he's going to be,
- 22:03Speaker 6: if he hasn't already, Ali Braxton.
- 22:06Speaker 8: Last one here real quick from you. Picture of the
- 22:09Speaker 8: month Christopher Sanchez or Jacob Mizzerowski. I'm sure you saw
- 22:13Speaker 8: the numbers and how dominant both of them were. Sanchez
- 22:16Speaker 8: didn't give up a run, MS gave up one. Who
- 22:20Speaker 8: is player who is picture of the month in your
- 22:22Speaker 8: mind as a big league pitcher.
- 22:25Speaker 6: And it's hard not to say Sanchez that street that
- 22:28Speaker 6: he's on is was pretty unbelievable. I don't know when
- 22:31Speaker 6: the last time anybody came close to that. I think
- 22:33Speaker 6: he's at forty four forty one innings or something like
- 22:36Speaker 6: that score this ball. I didn't get to see miss
- 22:39Speaker 6: throw whenever we went to went to Milwaukee, I was
- 22:41Speaker 6: on the bereavement list. But but yeah, like watching Sanchez throw,
- 22:47Speaker 6: I think he went to CG on us. You know,
- 22:51Speaker 6: the way that he uses arsenal. He doesn't have the
- 22:53Speaker 6: higher and three. You know, he doesn't have the ninety
- 22:56Speaker 6: seven on our slider. The raw stuff is a lot,
- 23:01Speaker 6: you know on paper, it's it's not what Miss Rosy has,
- 23:05Speaker 6: but the way that he uses it, the way that
- 23:07Speaker 6: again going back to the to the to the first
- 23:09Speaker 6: part of this conversation, just about how how do you
- 23:12Speaker 6: go about certain counts, certain about certain hitters, The way
- 23:16Speaker 6: that he uses his arsenal to keep guys off balanced,
- 23:19Speaker 6: get guy's landing and push them in and just never
- 23:23Speaker 6: let anybody commit to a certain part of the zone.
- 23:25Speaker 6: It's it was really impressive to watch and it's something
- 23:27Speaker 6: I've been trying to implement my game as well. I mean,
- 23:31Speaker 6: miss Rowski is unbelievable talent, but I'd have to go
- 23:34Speaker 6: with with Sanchez.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, thank you, my new favorite picture.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Practicing good ball talk man. Really appreciate the time.
- 23:45Speaker 5: If it's great getting to know you a little bit more,
- 23:47Speaker 5: good luck the rest of the way.
- 23:48Speaker 2: We'll catch you down the road.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, sounds good to be able to go on.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Hey, tell my boy Steve Perry, I said, what's up?
- 23:54Speaker 3: I will.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Thank you, appreciate you. That's a that's a good combo
- 24:00Speaker 2: right there.
- 24:00Speaker 5: That's really good ball talk, you know, for people, especially
- 24:03Speaker 5: pictures that want to hear a little bit from a
- 24:06Speaker 5: big league picture. Really knows how to articulate everything that's
- 24:09Speaker 5: going on in the sport. Braxtonn Ashcraft and if you
- 24:12Speaker 5: want more, in the Pirates Bucco Territory part of the
- 24:14Speaker 5: Ft network includes former Pirates great Josh Harrison.
- 24:19Speaker 8: It is at it here again, Will you're afraid?
- 24:23Speaker 7: He has been the bright lights for the Red Sox. Offensively,
- 24:27Speaker 7: he's on a second.
- 24:28Speaker 1: You want to play by a Braion right field. Luchisimas
- 24:33Speaker 1: boy does the Red Sox.
- 24:34Speaker 5: Dad, it's fun to watch, and now let's talk to him.
- 24:38Speaker 5: Will you're bray you're joining us right now from the
- 24:40Speaker 5: Red Sox. Will You're great to have you on the show.
- 24:42Speaker 5: How are you doing today?
- 24:43Speaker 4: Pretty good? Guys? What about you? Thanks for the invitation.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Of course, anytime. No, we're happy to have you on.
- 24:51Speaker 2: And Kratz go for it.
- 24:52Speaker 8: What a brassos. Wowdy you are strong. Huh you have
- 24:56Speaker 8: no sleeves. You don't have any sleeves for the show.
- 24:59Speaker 4: No, oh no, no, no, right.
- 25:01Speaker 7: Now, you're you're ready to work. You're ready to work.
- 25:06Speaker 8: But I'm gonna get Did you see the video right
- 25:08Speaker 8: before there, before we get into anything, did you see
- 25:10Speaker 8: the video your highlight video?
- 25:12Speaker 4: Yeah, of course.
- 25:14Speaker 8: Okay, when you put the Wali mask on, does the
- 25:17Speaker 8: Wally mask smell bad?
- 25:19Speaker 7: Like? I always wonder that because I just think.
- 25:23Speaker 4: It would, I mean, yell their be.
- 25:26Speaker 9: You know, there's a lot of guys that put that
- 25:29Speaker 9: Wally and you know, everybody a little be. You know,
- 25:35Speaker 9: if they set it right now, that will start the summer.
- 25:37Speaker 9: You know, at the end of the season is gonna
- 25:39Speaker 9: be kind of bad.
- 25:42Speaker 7: Okay, that's fair. I like that. I like that, all right,
- 25:46Speaker 7: So what is it?
- 25:48Speaker 9: So?
- 25:48Speaker 7: What is it? Are you? Are you okay? Are you okay?
- 25:50Speaker 7: After the ven do you go on.
- 25:51Speaker 8: Parades in every city you go on to, like Little
- 25:54Speaker 8: Venezuela and they like have a parade for you, and
- 25:58Speaker 8: in Houston a parade for you.
- 26:00Speaker 7: In Philadelphia prayed for you in New York.
- 26:03Speaker 8: Are you a Venezuelan celebrity now that you won the WBC?
- 26:08Speaker 9: Yeah, of course I think that was very crazy. That
- 26:12Speaker 9: was crazy after the w u C. How famous I
- 26:17Speaker 9: became in Venezuela.
- 26:21Speaker 2: All right, So I want to hear more on that too.
- 26:24Speaker 8: Yeah, I want to hear I want to hear more
- 26:25Speaker 8: about I want to hear more about that. But I
- 26:27Speaker 8: also want to hear like, like, what is what is
- 26:30Speaker 8: your famous in Venezuela?
- 26:31Speaker 6: Me?
- 26:33Speaker 9: I mean, it's crazy since the WBC, since we want
- 26:40Speaker 9: the w UC the I always been, you know, uh
- 26:46Speaker 9: mentioning in is in Instagram like since uh the WC.
- 26:52Speaker 9: To hear every time I there's somebody mentioned me in
- 26:56Speaker 9: Instagram about the video that I homer that I that
- 27:01Speaker 9: I hate against Japan and that was crazy.
- 27:04Speaker 6: Man.
- 27:04Speaker 4: I think when I came.
- 27:06Speaker 9: Back to Venezuela, it's gonna be something very special for
- 27:10Speaker 9: me because there's a lot of people that they don't
- 27:13Speaker 9: know me, and now they know me after the WUVC
- 27:17Speaker 9: you know.
- 27:18Speaker 8: Okay, So I played with a guy in two thousand
- 27:20Speaker 8: and four and he burst on the scene in the
- 27:22Speaker 8: big leagues, Gustavo Chasine, and he became famous and they
- 27:27Speaker 8: had a line of perfume or or cologne after him,
- 27:32Speaker 8: and his commercial was ooh Chasine. When they would spell,
- 27:35Speaker 8: when they would spray it. Are you gonna get something
- 27:38Speaker 8: like that?
- 27:39Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know. I don't know yet.
- 27:41Speaker 4: I don't know. Yo, We'll see when when I go
- 27:44Speaker 4: back to Venezuela.
- 27:46Speaker 7: Okay, is there somebody? Is there a player?
- 27:48Speaker 8: I mean, honestly, you've been WBC so a lot of
- 27:50Speaker 8: the famous Venezuelan players. Besides besides Jose Yepez, he's not famous,
- 27:55Speaker 8: he's just he's just Yeppie.
- 27:57Speaker 7: We played together.
- 27:58Speaker 8: But but is there a famous Venezuelan player that you
- 28:02Speaker 8: haven't met yet that you're like, I would love to
- 28:04Speaker 8: meet that guy.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Uh uh? The one that I want to know.
- 28:10Speaker 9: It was Migol Carrera and he was my hitting coach
- 28:14Speaker 9: in the w UC So that was pretty cool. But
- 28:18Speaker 9: the other player that I haven't met yet is Carlos Gonzalez,
- 28:24Speaker 9: and you know, he's he was a really good player.
- 28:27Speaker 9: I watching him as a kid growing up, and he's
- 28:32Speaker 9: the only one that I miss.
- 28:36Speaker 4: I'm missing right now.
- 28:37Speaker 1: You know, Well, you're I got to call that japan game. Uh,
- 28:43Speaker 1: when you hit the home run, has the bat landed
- 28:45Speaker 1: yet from your bat?
- 28:46Speaker 3: Flip?
- 28:47Speaker 1: We call flip because that thing hit the roof in Miami.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that was That was crazy.
- 28:54Speaker 9: I mean, that was something that I I didn't even
- 28:59Speaker 9: think about it.
- 29:00Speaker 4: It just hoppens.
- 29:02Speaker 9: Because you know, all the emotion, all the you know,
- 29:06Speaker 9: the uh, the game was you know, just crazy.
- 29:11Speaker 4: So he just hopping.
- 29:14Speaker 8: Andrew Monasterio, we just had him on and he came
- 29:16Speaker 8: and he drove down to the game to watch. He
- 29:20Speaker 8: wanted to watch Venezuela play. Okay, can you believe how
- 29:25Speaker 8: many Venezuelans were in that crowd for you guys in
- 29:28Speaker 8: the final game, Because I mean when you think Miami,
- 29:31Speaker 8: I don't necessarily always think Venezuelans. But can you believe
- 29:35Speaker 8: how much they took over that stadium.
- 29:38Speaker 4: No, No, that was crazy. I think I don't know.
- 29:41Speaker 9: I think the ninety percent of the people was Venezuelan
- 29:45Speaker 9: h and that was crazy. You know, with all the support,
- 29:51Speaker 9: all the people cheering for us, that was just amazing.
- 29:57Speaker 7: So was it boring when you went back to the
- 29:59Speaker 7: regular season? Was it boring?
- 30:00Speaker 8: Because then you the first week, the first week you
- 30:03Speaker 8: hit three home runs, so I think your your swing
- 30:06Speaker 8: was ready. But was it boring to go back to
- 30:08Speaker 8: spring training and the regular season?
- 30:12Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:12Speaker 9: I mean it was boring went back to spring training
- 30:15Speaker 9: for the last week, but after the season starts, so
- 30:21Speaker 9: just you know, try to stay the same, try to
- 30:25Speaker 9: you know, kid, that momentum that I had on the
- 30:27Speaker 9: w UC.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on in Boston right now? Well, you guys,
- 30:36Speaker 1: for some reason, you guys cannot win in Fenway? What
- 30:39Speaker 1: the heck is happening? Fenway was always a place the
- 30:42Speaker 1: Red Sox always dominated. Well, is there one thing you
- 30:45Speaker 1: can it's a bit bad weather? Has it been too cold?
- 30:48Speaker 4: Like?
- 30:48Speaker 1: What's happening in Fenway? Red Sox always owned the Fenway Park?
- 30:53Speaker 9: Yeah, I think I think that that's something that we
- 30:56Speaker 9: had to try to figure out how to in here
- 31:00Speaker 9: because you know where we're being kind of bad. Here
- 31:05Speaker 9: we play good in the role, but when we get
- 31:08Speaker 9: here and in our home, we you know, we're bottling
- 31:13Speaker 9: too much to win the games. But I think we're
- 31:18Speaker 9: we had to figure out how to do it. I
- 31:21Speaker 9: think we had a good path right now to do it.
- 31:26Speaker 9: You know, the boys will start to we start to
- 31:30Speaker 9: getting really good at bats, Our games are better are abouts, pitching,
- 31:36Speaker 9: the the defense, all the stuff. I think it's just, uh,
- 31:41Speaker 9: we just try to figure out how to do it,
- 31:45Speaker 9: and I think right now we're in a good spot
- 31:49Speaker 9: to start to do it.
- 31:51Speaker 8: I want to talk about you're at bats. You're at
- 31:53Speaker 8: bats versus lefties. I know sometimes you get platooned, but
- 31:57Speaker 8: you're killing it versus lefties. Are those conversations that you
- 32:00Speaker 8: and Chad Tracy, or you and the maybe not hitting
- 32:04Speaker 8: coach but the front office talk about, like, hey, I
- 32:07Speaker 8: don't need to be platooned like I'm killing lefties. Is
- 32:10Speaker 8: that a conversation that you have with with Chad Tracy?
- 32:14Speaker 4: Uh?
- 32:15Speaker 9: Not really, I think that was. You know, that's something
- 32:18Speaker 9: that I that I know that I had to improve
- 32:21Speaker 9: on my gain size because you know, I haven't played
- 32:26Speaker 9: too much with the lefty the last couple of years.
- 32:29Speaker 9: So this year they start to give me the opportunity
- 32:33Speaker 9: to play against against lefty. And you know, that's something
- 32:38Speaker 9: that I work out a lot this off season, try
- 32:41Speaker 9: to be better with the lefty, uh know, my my body,
- 32:45Speaker 9: myself as a hitter. How to how can create power
- 32:50Speaker 9: against lestic leftists too? That the saying that I have
- 32:54Speaker 9: against rights. So that's something that I work work.
- 32:59Speaker 4: A lot this offseason.
- 33:01Speaker 9: And I mean there are social there, you know, you
- 33:04Speaker 9: just try to I just need to get more abouts,
- 33:08Speaker 9: feel more constable to play with the lefties. I work
- 33:13Speaker 9: on it, and you know right now there are there there,
- 33:17Speaker 9: and I feel pretty good. Every time I see I
- 33:20Speaker 9: see a lefty, I get happy, you know, I say, oh,
- 33:25Speaker 9: they bring me the lefty to get me right, you know,
- 33:28Speaker 9: because I'm hitting really good against the LEFTI right now.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Hey, well here, let's go to defense.
- 33:34Speaker 5: I know Krat's going to ask you about range and
- 33:36Speaker 5: playing right and all that, but I want to start
- 33:38Speaker 5: with the arm.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Right, you've got a bazook arm. How did you get it?
- 33:41Speaker 3: You?
- 33:41Speaker 2: Did you always have that?
- 33:43Speaker 3: Like?
- 33:43Speaker 5: When did you start playing outfield? Did you always have
- 33:45Speaker 5: a cannon for an arm. And if you had like
- 33:48Speaker 5: one tip for an outfielder, a young outfielder out there
- 33:52Speaker 5: on how they can improve their arm strength, what was
- 33:54Speaker 5: the best way that you were able to do that
- 33:55Speaker 5: over the years.
- 33:58Speaker 9: I think I always been through a little hard but
- 34:04Speaker 9: I always take care of my arm too. I literally
- 34:09Speaker 9: have like a you know, like a picture program of
- 34:13Speaker 9: my take care of my arm. I always do you know,
- 34:16Speaker 9: med balls, Uh, you know bands and all that stuff.
- 34:21Speaker 6: You know.
- 34:22Speaker 9: I think if you can improve or strong with your scaps,
- 34:30Speaker 9: so you're gonna be you're gonna have a really good
- 34:32Speaker 9: arm and a healthy arm too.
- 34:35Speaker 8: I love to hear that that you actually work at
- 34:37Speaker 8: it and you want to keep it up because the
- 34:40Speaker 8: any DNA don't wante, don't auto wanted. You have two
- 34:43Speaker 8: gold gloves, Kate, the Visio right field and Grande League.
- 34:47Speaker 8: What's the most difficult right field to play and in
- 34:50Speaker 8: the big leagues is a fanway?
- 34:52Speaker 4: Yeah, of course it's too big.
- 34:56Speaker 9: I mean the dimensions are different and they rightfield is
- 35:00Speaker 9: too big.
- 35:01Speaker 4: We got I mean we got three eighty on the bullpens.
- 35:06Speaker 9: Uh, you know, we got that calf after the basketball
- 35:10Speaker 9: we got the basketball. You know, you know it's it's sure,
- 35:14Speaker 9: but at the same time it's very very long and uh,
- 35:20Speaker 9: you know, and big, and I think it's the most
- 35:23Speaker 9: difficult right field play, you know.
- 35:29Speaker 7: Okay, if I see what's the easiest, Uh.
- 35:35Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 35:36Speaker 9: I think, uh, I say, because because there, I mean
- 35:42Speaker 9: there's uh, rightfield is a difficult position and any any stadium.
- 35:49Speaker 4: But I think, you know, Frank wish even harder.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Hey, well you're tell me about were you in the
- 35:58Speaker 5: abs practice the other day? And and I'm genuinely curious
- 36:02Speaker 5: how teams are improving that over time. So we have
- 36:04Speaker 5: some video here and some of the guys were looking
- 36:07Speaker 5: like what have you guys talked about to try and say, Okay,
- 36:10Speaker 5: here's what we learned in the first third of the
- 36:12Speaker 5: season and what should we be challenging and when.
- 36:17Speaker 9: Actually I had that practice today. So after after this interview,
- 36:23Speaker 9: I go on going there. So but there's something that
- 36:26Speaker 9: I want. I've been learning about the avias, so we
- 36:31Speaker 9: don't have to be afraid to get, you know, ask
- 36:34Speaker 9: for the challenge, because there are sometimes there's all our pitches.
- 36:37Speaker 4: That we know it's a ball, but if we gots
- 36:42Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know. Oh, come and we
- 36:46Speaker 4: know it's a ball.
- 36:46Speaker 9: We normally we don't challenge that, but there's I think
- 36:51Speaker 9: we're being so passive doing the challenge.
- 36:54Speaker 4: So I think if we go a.
- 36:56Speaker 9: Little more aggressive aggressive with the challenge, where you know,
- 37:00Speaker 9: can turn around the ad bots can get in a
- 37:03Speaker 9: better position.
- 37:04Speaker 7: To hit Tegusta Sweet Caroline. You like the song Sweet Caroline?
- 37:09Speaker 9: Yeah, of course, I think it's pretty cool. That's you know,
- 37:12Speaker 9: that's the magic here, famew.
- 37:15Speaker 8: You sing along with it? When what is it the
- 37:17Speaker 8: eighth inning or the seventh thing? I'm not even sure.
- 37:19Speaker 8: I'm not I'm not a fan.
- 37:20Speaker 9: Wayman, Yes he's in the eighth inning, but yeah, I
- 37:26Speaker 9: always singing singing it?
- 37:28Speaker 7: Can we hear it? Now? Can you give us a
- 37:30Speaker 7: little bit?
- 37:33Speaker 4: Uh? I don't know. Maybe a j can hold me
- 37:38Speaker 4: with this.
- 37:39Speaker 8: Okay, not me, not me? Yeah you were you played
- 37:48Speaker 8: for the Red Sox. I only had a Red Sox uniform.
- 37:51Speaker 7: Give him like a bump something.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Touching me, touching you.
- 37:58Speaker 7: See up up? They very nice, very nice?
- 38:07Speaker 5: All right, So let's end with this bill you're what
- 38:09Speaker 5: do you like to do for fun? You know, we
- 38:10Speaker 5: hadn't talked to you before, Like you get an off day,
- 38:12Speaker 5: what's your plan?
- 38:14Speaker 4: Uh, you know, I got through kids home, So.
- 38:20Speaker 9: That's you know, pretty much my my day being on
- 38:24Speaker 9: that and you know maybe at the end of the day,
- 38:29Speaker 9: maybe I do some barbecue and play with the kids
- 38:32Speaker 9: in the backyard. That's pretty much my my day office that.
- 38:38Speaker 8: Kay Carney and the barbecue. Let meet you put on
- 38:43Speaker 8: by Solo. Yeah no, no.
