  Speaker 1: because I've never really been a big Bachelor in Paradise.

  Speaker 1: this year's whole season was really different, right, I mean

  Speaker 1: there were some twists in there, kind of some survivor

  Speaker 1: lot of they through the kitchen sink at this show

  Speaker 1: this year, and for the first time ever, they had

  Speaker 1: goldens on and you guys were there. How did you

  Speaker 1: feel about that? Like you came into the situation. I

  Speaker 1: know that the two of you have always been good

  Speaker 1: friends and you have a great friendship, but you immediately

  Speaker 1: were providing counsel for these kids, and it's just because

  Speaker 1: you both couldn't just couldn't help yourselves, right, It was

  Speaker 1: just like you're watching a hot mess.

  Speaker 2: I mean, let's think about this. We each have three children. Yeah,

  Speaker 2: we've raised three children each. I think we probably have

  Speaker 2: opinions on how young adults should think, behave and act

  Speaker 2: and make decisions. So yeah, it kind of came to

  Speaker 2: a second nature.

  Speaker 3: I mean, out of all the Goldens, I think I
• 2:13
  Speaker 3: have the youngest kids on everybody, so, you know, with

  Speaker 3: everybody being twenty five to thirty ish whatever, I mean,

  Speaker 3: it just was in my wheelhouse. I get along. I'm
• 2:21
  Speaker 3: hanging out with my kids friends, you know. Yeah, so
• 2:24
  Speaker 3: it just it was just easy just to get along.

  Speaker 3: I know when to be quiet, no, when to listen,
• 2:29
  Speaker 3: no when to talk.

  Speaker 1: And then they'd ask your opinions on some stuff. And

  Speaker 1: one of the things, you know, we we were sitting

  Speaker 1: around when we first came in today and Kathy, you

  Speaker 1: were pretty emotional getting back together with the cast, and
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: I thought that was very sweet, and it was, you know,
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: it really resonates with what you said on the show,
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: which was like, you know, I love these people, I
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: love seeing love. Yeah, but you were like, I'm just
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: so excited to be with them again.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, for me, it wasn't about coming back. Well, first
• 2:52
  Speaker 2: of all, I stayed out of the drama, so yeah,

  Speaker 2: it was easy for me to come back. But it

  Speaker 2: really was about seeing the youngins and seeing how other
• 3:00
  Speaker 2: lives have developed, and being so happy that so many

  Speaker 2: of the relationships have have taken off, because as Keith

  Speaker 2: and I have said, you know, for us, it's not
• 3:09
  Speaker 2: about money at this chapter in our life and in
• 3:12
  Speaker 2: my life, it's about connection with people. And both of
• 3:17
  Speaker 2: us just forge these really close relationships with these young kids,
• 3:21
  Speaker 2: and it was just so nice to see them again.

  Speaker 3: We both keep in touch with different one so yeah,
• 3:28
  Speaker 3: and all of I had no idea what how the
• 3:31
  Speaker 3: show ended it all, And so when I would talk
• 3:33
  Speaker 3: to him, I say, don't tell me. I don't want
• 3:35
  Speaker 3: to listen.
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: You didn't want to spoiler to spoiler or whatever.

  Speaker 3: And I talked to Alex probably out of most everybody, Yeah,

  Speaker 3: and she started to say sounding like.

  Speaker 1: Don't stop, don't tell me, don't tell any any big

  Speaker 1: surprises for you guys today getting back together with your
• 3:48
  Speaker 1: old castmates. I mean, any relationships that you thought were
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: going to make it that you were shocked to find
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: out didn't or any that you feel like they told
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: you that they're not together anymore and your wish and.
• 3:58
  Speaker 2: They were really No, No.

  Speaker 1: I didn't realize you had such a counseling type of

  Speaker 1: relationship with Parisa.

  Speaker 3: Me.

  Speaker 1: I was shocked by that. Now. Yeah, not that you

  Speaker 1: would have a counsel relationship with because that's that's who

  Speaker 1: you are as a nursing person, but you know that

  Speaker 1: you were basically like she openly said, yeah, yeah, I
• 4:15
  Speaker 1: took Kathy everything.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, priests would come to me, and you know, she

  Speaker 2: was stressed about the relationship with Brian and what he
• 4:22
  Speaker 2: thought and was she doing the wrong thing? And honestly,
• 4:26
  Speaker 2: that's why we talked about voting them off because Paris
• 4:30
  Speaker 2: and particularly was really struggling with the emotion of being
• 4:35
  Speaker 2: on the show in a relationship. And remember I said.
• 4:38
  Speaker 3: Oh yeah, because I wasn't good advice. I didn't want
• 4:40
  Speaker 3: to vote Brian off.

  Speaker 2: Well I didn't either, and you came to me.
• 4:44
  Speaker 3: And said, no, you don't understand what Priese is telling
• 4:47
  Speaker 3: me in the background, So what.

  Speaker 2: They were going through, she was just really struggling with
• 4:52
  Speaker 2: the environment and could they make it and what would
• 4:55
  Speaker 2: it be like when they left and so I said,
• 4:57
  Speaker 2: you know, Parisa, she had told me she didn't care

  Speaker 2: about the money. I don't care about the money. I'm
• 5:02
  Speaker 2: not sure where Brian was on that, but Prisas said
• 5:05
  Speaker 2: she didn't care about the money. And I said, then
• 5:07
  Speaker 2: you need to leave because if this is causing you stress,
• 5:11
  Speaker 2: it's not a place for you to be.

  Speaker 3: Yeah.

  Speaker 1: No, I think that's great advice. I mean, you guys

  Speaker 1: were great with that for that though. I mean, it's

  Speaker 1: kind of interesting and Keith, we can we can speak

  Speaker 1: candily about this now. So when I first found out

  Speaker 1: about the Goldens, I called Keith. I go, Keith, don't
• 5:26
  Speaker 1: take the bait. I don't think you should do this, remember,
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: And he's like, what do you mean? I go, Bud,
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: I just these producers.
• 5:32
  Speaker 2: Man, why didn't you call me?

  Speaker 3: Well?
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: Be cause I knew you'd be fine. I was more
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: worried about the guys, in all honesty what I was.
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: And I love Keith's personality and it reminds me of me,
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: and we got this kind of big and my fear
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: was that the yeah, like like, here's here's you and
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: tell you. But I was concerned that the guys would
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: go on there and they would edit the guys to
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: look like creepy old men. That's what I was worried about,
• 5:57
  Speaker 1: if I'm being frank, and so I was like, I
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: even said to Keith, I'm like, dude, if you're going
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: to do this, please don't take the bait, because just
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: just keep in mind, it's a reality show. Cameras are
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: runn one hundred miles an hour all the time. I'm like,
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: watch your back, bro because I don't know these new producers.

  Speaker 1: I know the old ones, and they sure as hell
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: would have done it. So my mindset was like, please, Bud,
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: just watch out for yourself because I love them so
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: much and I love you so much. I just didn't
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: want to, but I felt like the guys had more
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: of a risk at looking bad, you know what I mean.

  Speaker 3: Maybe just follow your guys. The guys actually talked about it.

  Speaker 3: They go, what happens if one of these young gals
• 6:27
  Speaker 3: walks by in one of their bathing suits, and you know,
• 6:30
  Speaker 3: they're just gonna they could even edit your eyes just
• 6:32
  Speaker 3: like this. They can't do anything.

  Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. I would have been walking
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: around like a zombie, just looking straight. I had twenty

  Speaker 1: four to seven. Yeah, I don't even know what I
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: would have done, but I was concerned that I'm so
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: glad I was wrong.

  Speaker 3: Yes, like I was.

  Speaker 1: I was wrong about The Golden Bachelor, the Golden Bachelor

  Speaker 1: when when they originally cast everyone, because my fear and

  Speaker 1: I told you this, Kathy, was that they were going
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: to do stunt casting. Yeah, remember, And I was so
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: glad they did age appropriate casting. And then I was
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: really happy with how the Guy season worked out with
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: Joan and all the guys at the cast. And then
• 7:00
  Speaker 1: so I've been wrong. Guys, I don't think it's ever happened,
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: but I've been wrong.

  Speaker 2: We love you, though, but I do think that most
• 7:11
  Speaker 2: of the women thought. So I knew Keith, I knew
• 7:14
  Speaker 2: most of the guys that came before, from my podcast
• 7:16
  Speaker 2: on Golden Hour to doing iHeart events. I knew most
• 7:20
  Speaker 2: of them. And I love Keith. I love all the
• 7:23
  Speaker 2: guys that were there, with a couple of exceptions. And
• 7:27
  Speaker 2: so for me, I knew for myself there wasn't going
• 7:31
  Speaker 2: to be a love connection, but that didn't stop me
• 7:34
  Speaker 2: from the experience because I honestly thought, you know, I'm
• 7:37
  Speaker 2: a mom of three and I felt like we could
• 7:41
  Speaker 2: be of help to these young kids. And how many
• 7:44
  Speaker 2: times did I say to you. I said to Keith,
• 7:46
  Speaker 2: I don't want to leave. I feel like we have
• 7:48
  Speaker 2: purpose here to help the young ones.

  Speaker 1: And they felt like you did too. I remember that
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: kind of powow session that happened second to the last episode,
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: and you guys just and you were ready to go,
• 7:57
  Speaker 1: and it was very touching. You were like, I just
• 8:00
  Speaker 1: want to go home. I want to see care.

  Speaker 3: It was it was Bailey, Jess, and Jess actually voted
• 8:05
  Speaker 3: for me to go home also, but she really meant
• 8:07
  Speaker 3: somebody had called me. And they said, well, I think
• 8:09
  Speaker 3: she was fake in the words and go no everywhere
• 8:11
  Speaker 3: and and Alex, but all three of them, their words
• 8:14
  Speaker 3: resonated with I knew that they were being totally honest
• 8:16
  Speaker 3: with you. Uh, And they said, no, we want you
• 8:19
  Speaker 3: to stay. We you know, we just you know, they
• 8:21
  Speaker 3: enjoyed our company. They enjoyed the words that we would share.

  Speaker 2: I mean, we really did, honestly. I think Keith and
• 8:28
  Speaker 2: I provided sound wisdom with humoral counsel and.

  Speaker 1: And your fun to hang out with.

  Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, wanted me out of therese Yeah.

  Speaker 1: He said, he's like, you're drinking them dry.

  Speaker 2: When we left the bar night, Keith would say, wait,

  Speaker 2: I need one to go, and he would take it

  Speaker 2: to his room.

  Speaker 1: Smart. Yeah, are all these love triangles getting you twisted?

  Speaker 3: call this guy called do this? She ended up not

  Speaker 3: She did her own thing. But yeah, we've gone camping

  Speaker 3: and it's it's it's all good, Na, that's awesome. It

  Speaker 3: just all hit me at once. One the shows are grind.

  Speaker 3: one because Natasha he went off and natashauld talk to him,

  Speaker 3: and he flirted. Instead of being honest and saying, hey,

  Speaker 3: I don't have an interest, he flirted with her. So

  Speaker 3: then during the roast ceremony, she gives him the roads
• 12:29
  Speaker 3: and Leslie was already to give the rose to Gary,

  Speaker 3: and then all of a sudden she had to think

  Speaker 3: on her feet, like what am I doing? So she
• 12:35
  Speaker 3: gave rose to Captain Kim.

  Speaker 2: Then wait and then wait. Leslie said to me she

  Speaker 2: didn't like him, and she said, I don't know. I

  Speaker 2: didn't want to give the rose to him. I should

  Speaker 2: have given it to k and so I love k

  Speaker 2: I adore him and this guy. Here are my two guys,

  Speaker 2: them and so so. But you know, the wheel was

  Speaker 2: in motion, and she she gave it to Jonathan and

  Speaker 2: c k went home, and that said a whole.

  Speaker 3: Yea yeah, because then it screwed up. However, the producers

  Speaker 2: the real truth. We're all sitting in the bedroom and

  Speaker 2: all the Golden Girls are sitting in my room, and

  Speaker 2: and Leslie's saying, you know, I want to give the

  Speaker 2: rose to Keith. And Natasha says, well, I want to

  Speaker 2: So Leslie said, I'm going to give the rose. I

  Speaker 2: want to give the rose to Gary. And Natasha said, well,

  Speaker 2: looked up at the camera in the bedroom. I said, well,

  Speaker 2: you just solved a problem for the producers, because Natasha,

  Speaker 2: you're going to be giving the rose first. So Leslie

  Speaker 2: figured it out. Well, they didn't believe me show enough.

  Speaker 2: pay Natasha, and he never mind the next day, and

  Speaker 2: upset and then and fast forward then Nancy comes.

  Speaker 1: And that sort of sets everything up.

  Speaker 2: Well, and you know, he's told Nancy he's only there

  Speaker 2: for her, and Nancy thinks she's getting the roads, and
