- 4:28[SPEAKER_04]: With your accurate weather forecast, I'm meteorologist Joe Lundberg on the news and talk authority AM-1240WATM.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_13]: well the hotline with Jeff Graham is right here good afternoon you want it off kind of uh... so so day but uh... a little human but not bad outside enjoy a just a programming note tomorrow congressional candidate Blake
- 5:12[SPEAKER_22]: Now I know we have at least one listeners as well water tones not in the 21st district, but a good piece of Jefferson County is Lewis and St. Lawrence County, and of course our station up north WQTK covers a lot of those folks.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_22]: So Mr. Gendobine will be here and I will do my usual splendid job of interviewing.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_22]: Um, what else?
- 5:40[SPEAKER_22]: Oh, I just watched Channel 7 News, Chad Shirett did a story down in Beaver River.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_22]: That's, uh, down Lewis County way, and Kudos to Julia Caputo, honor student, senior I believe, at Beaver River Central School, she came into class in the first day of school this year, and she had a cup of coffee, a cup of hot Joe, yeah.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_22]: And they said, you got to get that out of here.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_22]: You got to get that out.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_22]: That's, that's an affront to the entire educational system of New York State.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_13]: You got to get that out of here.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_22]: You can either dump it out or you can chug it, they said, well, don't really didn't want to chug it.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_22]: So she committed what she said was an act of civil disobedience and sat down, but I didn't end there.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_22]: She was given in school suspension, whatever that is.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_22]: charge with insubordination well this made it this upset some people never been a public hearing on this old thing and so you know i don't know i i'm on uh... julia side but uh... the whole story made it to the new york post in elsewhere beaver river in the new uh... yeah they don't like that not in the world of superintendents not they don't like that
- 7:04[SPEAKER_22]: So they had a big public hearing last night, good attendance, a lot of people spoke.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_22]: One way, the other one lady said, if the kid comes in and drinks a red bull on his on the honor roll, so what?
- 7:16[SPEAKER_22]: So the school board relented a bit and changed the policy.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_22]: So the teacher can decide if you can have coffee.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_22]: And he teaches out there, one way in and it's a big, big, bit of responsibility.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know if people need a drink in class.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_22]: Um, but on the other hand, what's the harm?
- 7:41[SPEAKER_22]: So that was a big story in Beaver River and, um, hopefully that'll be followed up on by some of the national media, yeah.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_22]: No, I like it.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_19]: We like being in there, yeah.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_22]: Remember the time that a couple other things that we got in the national media for, one was the, uh,
- 7:59[SPEAKER_22]: when that lady wasn't allowed to teach boys in church school.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_22]: This is the Reverend didn't think women should teach young boys.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_22]: And all of that made national news international too.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_22]: Uh, let's see what else is going on.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_22]: Well, the Christmas tree.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_22]: I thought that had been settled last March.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_22]: Council decided to cancel it and all of a sudden it was brought up by the city manager last night where to tell him it's been canceled and you know it's not it's not green it's not the green stewing it no sir it's you to be candid uh... but anyway i don't know what they're going to do i mean it really is an incidental cost
- 8:51[SPEAKER_22]: And a little set up time for traffic barriers, maybe a little bit of overtime, maybe not.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_22]: You know, just because you haven't event doesn't mean you have to call everybody yet on overtime.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_22]: You can rearrange schedules.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, maybe go short in another day, part or something like that.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_22]: But whatever it is, it isn't that much money.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_22]: You know, when they put that vanity door up on the third floor, that was 10,000 bucks.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_22]: There was no line item for that.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_22]: There's all sorts of things that happen.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_22]: In business or government or whatever you just said.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_22]: To then say, incidental expense.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know if we're going to have it.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_22]: But there's differing views on Christmasburg, too.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_22]: woman text to be this morning said, I don't like him.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_22]: It's too dark and cold, and I like just going taking the kids to see Santa over at the library.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_22]: Of course, this is a non-city resident who gets to see Santa for free, but that's okay.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_22]: We're generous people.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_22]: And I guess they're still going to have that and a tree lighting.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_22]: And you'll be happy with it.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_22]: Thank you.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_22]: So I don't know.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_22]: I know
- 10:10[SPEAKER_22]: I mean, it seems to me if the council says through the parade, you don't have to sit there and listen to the finance people do their e-revitations or we've got to move this month.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_22]: We've got to find them.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_22]: No, you don't.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_22]: No.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_22]: Who's just like when those toilets got vandalized over at north, north, the elementary recreation field.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_22]: Now it's been shown, shouldn't I have to fix those?
- 10:37[SPEAKER_23]: You just call?
- 10:39[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know if I can't be done in the house, you call up a firm to do it.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_22]: Isn't that how the real world does it?
- 10:49[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know about the Christmas period.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_22]: I just don't know what to think of it.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_22]: Here's a text, nothing to do with that.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_22]: Well, one person says water town is the Grinch who stole Christmas.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_22]: Now, maybe you don't want that parade.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_22]: Some years are whether it's bad and, yeah.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_22]: Another person writes in, I think the fire department should blast the homeless sleeping on benches with fire hoses.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_22]: You don't know about that.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_22]: It would clean him up a bit, but they were debating shopping cards again last night, don't you know?
- 11:36[SPEAKER_22]: The word about money for a Christmas parade, they're going to spend more money on billable hours with Harris Beach to craft an ordinance on shopping carts that passes constitutional muster than they will on any parade.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_22]: So just keep that in mind.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_22]: But do we really need an ordinance on shopping carts?
- 11:56[SPEAKER_22]: If they are stolen, first of all, maybe the stores should put identifying tags on them.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_22]: Some do, I think.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_22]: If they want to report them as stolen,
- 12:06[SPEAKER_22]: person having one can be arrested for that there are laws against stealing, you know, but just having one, I guess I'm with the, I can't belong that, you know, what do you want him to do?
- 12:19[SPEAKER_22]: Get a little red wagon or something?
- 12:20[SPEAKER_22]: They got to move and have something to put their stuff in.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_22]: So, if they're stealing them, you can arrest him for that, but there's a rule
- 12:33[SPEAKER_22]: If you're in the police blotter and there's a comma and the word homeless after you get that comma, you're not going into any jail or anywhere else.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_22]: They're not going to do a damn thing to you.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_22]: Incidentally, speaking of damn things, speaking of justice, and I hope we get it on Friday.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_22]: I hope the hell we get it.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_22]: Millia's on trial Friday, over in the city court, Judge Wood presiding.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_22]: We'll see what happens there.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_22]: The heavy hand of justice will have come down on her, but we'll should be vindicated in some way.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_22]: It's an awful lot of people at City Hall saying, we got to convict her of something.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_22]: Does this look stupid otherwise?
- 13:24[SPEAKER_22]: But then again, there's people who say, so what if it looks stupid?
- 13:27[SPEAKER_22]: That's not an uncommon occurrence.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_22]: We'll see who testifies.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_22]: We'll see what video is introduced as evidence.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_22]: And we'll see if maybe it's delayed again if the DA asked for another delay.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_22]: Is there a period of time in which something just goes away on its own?
- 13:58[SPEAKER_22]: I was suggesting that maybe Millie, I'll forget my false arrest allegations if you put the Christmas parade on for the kids.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_22]: No.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_22]: It's something to think about.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_22]: Something to think about.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_22]: Well, what else we got here on the show of shows.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_22]: And that too much, you know, I was, I'll tell you something, you know, service is something.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_22]: Everybody says, I've always got a shop at local and all that, but it's hard to get anything at local.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_22]: Yesterday, I did an order for a bunch of cleaning supplies, paper products, toilet paper, paper towels, or ox, you know, whatever, or so, some other things.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_22]: Pretty big order, I just wanted to get a bunch of stuff last a while, did it through
- 15:07[SPEAKER_22]: And, uh, at least that I'm lying yesterday afternoon, that truck was there this morning.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, I'm trying getting that kind of service anywhere else, aren't you?
- 15:17[SPEAKER_22]: You pay a shipping fee, there's no doubt about it.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_22]: But boy, it's nice to know that you can get it the next day.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_22]: Because there really is no water in a restaurant supply, black river paper is gone.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_22]: All the places you used to get a lot of that stuff, and I guess you can get some of it from the fruit outlets.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_22]: And US food's pretty good.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_22]: I go to their bed and maybe the other ones I don't know.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_22]: But, um... Yeah, I just want to say that Uline is good service.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_22]: Oh, let's see.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_22]: Things in the national news?
- 15:50[SPEAKER_22]: Well, you know, I don't know what.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_22]: Oh, AI.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_22]: I asked chat last night how AI is going to kill us by the end of the decade and it told me.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_22]: This thing is cropped up in such a hurry.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_22]: There's something on the one hand you say, what's the big rush on the other hand?
- 16:12[SPEAKER_22]: They say, well, we better do something.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_22]: You know, it's like the Borg in those Star Trek movies.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_22]: It's a collective consciousness and it turns on us.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_06]: And yeah, that's what they say.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_22]: And it's a good issue for the Democrats.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_22]: Because you don't have to understand it.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_22]: You just have to scare the, but Jesus out of people.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_22]: So anyway, we'll see what happens 755, 1240 or phone number, if you'd like to be on the air, talk about whatever you want, AI, beaver river school, do you have coffee, I don't think we don't have any great coffee when I was in school, you'd be getting a trip to Mr. Sky's office for that.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_22]: But I am, do I have admiration for the, the Pito family and their daughter, Julia, for standing up and, you know, these high-flying administrators and superintendents and all of that, they need their come up and so once in a while.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_22]: Good afternoon, Ronny Air.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: Not a nice day, I just wanted to say, do you think I'll go and run into it and then that because that's what he was saying locked I'm ago, when it just came out?
- 17:38[SPEAKER_22]: Well, I don't really know.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure the internet was- No, he must've heard him saying that.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, but I think the internet was like radio or a lot of other things.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_22]: There were a lot of people working on it.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_22]: I don't think there was one person who invented it.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_02]: No, I know.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: same thing with the time of bomb.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, Oppenheimer wasn't the only one working on it.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's correct.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, group of scientists and everything else.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_02]: Some of them people didn't know what they were working on.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: They're like, do you?
- 18:13[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: You blah blah blah.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_02]: What's the other thing is about shopping carts, you know, they didn't, they didn't
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: that some places have balls on them so you can't take them off the door.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: You don't want to mean because, like, over by he sells or not same name, but he's bad.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_22]: Right, oh.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like, you're going to Kenny's just out of the store.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_22]: It's got a pole on it.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_22]: You forget it.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_22]: You go to the towards the door and all of a sudden, boom.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: You, yeah.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: That means you can't go down the sheet with us.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_22]: Right.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_02]: Put a tank in there and everything in awesome, all your goodies.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_22]: Exactly.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody does that and all these you've got to pay a quarter, but that's pretty cheap but I mean if they catch you in eight, Grimes even said something about a hundred, they're going down the arsenal, so you're shopping cards and everything and not, so I don't know where they got them from, but yeah, yeah, they're all the time, yeah, three, four or a bunch of bop, yeah, okay, all right, thanks man, bye now.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_22]: Well, I'm just looking at the new agenda being commercial.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_22]: I didn't hear the audio, but it's pretty hard hitting.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_22]: I mean, it's got some what appeared to be some pretty serious accusations in it and I don't know about that.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_22]: Wow.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_22]: I'd like to see that commercial again.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_22]: It's gonna get rough and tumble, but I think the commercial sort of suggests that
- 19:55[SPEAKER_22]: Mr. Concentino wants to kill the police or something from what I could see on the commercial now I doubt that's the case and there's a picture of a Concentino with Roger stone and then they're like anybody in water town or north in the North country knows who Roger stone is nobody and He's I don't know that another thing about
- 20:23[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know, I look pretty harsh to me.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_22]: I'm gonna have to wait and see that again.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_22]: But it's nothing.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_22]: Unlike his one where he, uh, as the manure coming out of the, hose.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know, do you like that guy?
- 20:41[SPEAKER_22]: If you live over on that side?
- 20:45[SPEAKER_22]: Over in our part of the world, it's Claudia Tenney against, uh,
- 20:50[SPEAKER_22]: somebody.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know, never matter.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_22]: So, um, no thoughts on that?
- 21:00[SPEAKER_22]: Well, you all have a chance to Mars, meet Mr.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_22]: Gender Bean, and ask them.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_22]: You think your opponent wants to kill the police?
- 21:10[SPEAKER_22]: It's a fair question.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_07]: Now, um, that's a message
- 21:24[SPEAKER_22]: somebody taxing new lines of quality company yes it is so i know what about your bureau deliver what we did get out deliver last week a lot of people are you know hopefully uh... back on track but it still speaks to a a bigger problem in the europe but uh... somebody said or thank god we get the coffee taking care of that's important well maybe it is
- 21:52[SPEAKER_22]: Somebody else said, I'm sure the home room teacher had a cup of coffee though.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah?
- 22:00[SPEAKER_22]: That could be.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_22]: That could be.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_22]: Somebody texted in Roger Stone as a well-dressed man.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_19]: Yes, he is.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_22]: Obviously, when I say nobody in the North Country knows who he is, some people do.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_22]: interesting thing in our pharmacist centers it was an article from the New York Post disturbing number of Americans don't socialize at all on any average day research shows well that to me would make the case for uh... neighborhood taverns you don't have to get drunk or get in the fight or something like that you just socialize yeah just sitting at home alone smoking weed all day and
- 22:47[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know, more than two-thirds of Americans according to this do not socialize at all on an average.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_22]: Two-thirds, that's two out of three.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_22]: That means if you see three people, two of them don't socialize all day.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_22]: Wow.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_22]: One associate professor of psychology at Washington University in St. Louis's Gen Z struggles to form connections.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, only 30% of Americans overall engaged in socializing or communicating on an average day down from 38% a decade ago.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_22]: There are average time socializing drop from 41 to 35 minutes.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_22]: Wow, wow.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_22]: Gen Z years age 15 to 19, spend the most time on their computer or phone screens.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, much of the shift can be traced to COVID-19 lockdowns before they were a great thing with them.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_22]: Yep, particularly the forcing of young people stay inside at a format of age.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_22]: So nobody socializes anymore.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_22]: Do you notice that?
- 24:02[SPEAKER_22]: Is that true in your circle of friends?
- 24:08[SPEAKER_22]: You could very well be.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_22]: I mean, obviously, I mean,
- 24:14[SPEAKER_22]: The American Revolution was born in taverns.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_22]: Taverns are an important part of the social fabric, but people don't socialize anymore.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_13]: Oh.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_22]: Somebody said, that's what happens when values in philosophy fall below social media and sleep.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_22]: They're values.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_22]: They're underneath anymore.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_22]: So, no opinions on the Christmas parade, whether we should have one or not.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_22]: There's two viewpoints.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_22]: One is that it's, it's pass-a.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_22]: It's cold, dark, whatever.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_22]: Whether it's not always good, not much to see on the other hand.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_22]: You know, just going over to the library to see Santa's gratifying, too.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_22]: Is there money for Santa this year or something?
- 25:05[SPEAKER_08]: You may ask.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_22]: Well, that's another story, I guess.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_22]: And let's see.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_22]: On the loneliness thing, somebody takes in thanks to your buddy Steve Jennings.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_22]: Well, yeah, I like Mr. Jennings, but I do think he has something to do with the lack of socializing.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_22]: I don't hold him personally responsible for it all, but he was certainly an advocate for all of that stuff back in 20, 20, 20, 21, what we now call nonsense.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_20]: Yes.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_22]: All right, 75, 5, 12, 40 will take time out for messages, be right back.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, I'm State Senator Mark Wallsick.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_01]: There is nowhere on Earth quite like upstate New York, from our natural resources and landscapes to the grit and determination of our hardworking families, I am incredibly proud to represent seven beautiful counties.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: But your utility bill is too high, tax bill too big and the return on your hard work squandered in Albany.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: Our state government has lost its way and New York has been a leader in what not to do.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: One party rule has created a severe imbalance of power.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody elected me to manage the decline of our great state and I'm fighting every single day to bring balance back to state government.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_01]: Please know that when you vote to send me back to Albany, you're hiring a Patriot who's not afraid to speak up for you and stand up against policies that make it harder for you to earn a living.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate your vote for me, Senator Mark Walsek.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: Pade for by Friends of Walsek.

- 28:47[SPEAKER_03]: RIVITING READY-O.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_03]: AM-1240.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_13]: RIVITING READY-O.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_13]: Don't you AT&T, the news and talk authority.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_22]: That news and talk authority will take a little listen to last night's council meeting in the city manager, Wagner, discussing Christmas.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_22]: There, well, we're going to find it.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_20]: Christmas this coming.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_20]: As you know, we did not put budget for the parade this year.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_20]: However, we still wanted to do the Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_20]: That ceremony is going to be on the 11th of December out front here in front of the city hall.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_20]: We'll have Santa in the library again.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_20]: And then I just would like to get after the meeting or at any time get council feedback on
- 29:45[SPEAKER_20]: Last thing, and also kind of a good no story, we had a meeting last Friday, I think it was, on Potential Solar, with our contractor that was doing the initial assessment for the solar for the landfill.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_20]: So that was phase one to confirm whether or not that site is developable, the contractor believes it is, up to at least 48 acres.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_20]: If there's a combined option for maybe to do all 78 acres over there, there's potential for generating up to almost 15,000 megawatts.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_20]: So we're going to put together, we're still getting into it.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_20]: We just had the meeting last week.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_20]: We owe you more information on this and how to go forward with that.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_20]: and what the best way to do it is and validate the capacity is the next step and the project value will give you some funding requirements and how that's going to look.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_20]: But we have to somewhere work to do that, Karen, is running that for us.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_20]: But the other thing that's out there just for your information, we have had several requests in the last couple months about battery energy storage capacity.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_22]: Um, well, anyway, we're going to no Christmas parade, but you might get some solar panels out of the way.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_22]: For those of you who don't know, the former city landfill is located right off of water street.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_22]: Yes.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_22]: And it was taken out of business back in the 90s by the environmental extremists, and that sent the cost of getting rid of our garbage way up.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_22]: It's not used for anything else.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_22]: I suppose you can argue, yeah, um, if it's free, is it free?
- 31:35[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, if it's free, it's for me.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_22]: That's what they say at City Council.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_22]: But, um, I don't know.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_22]: Anyway, it sounds like that Christmas thing might be nice without that damn parade.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_22]: Don't have to set up barricades or no overtime for... Yeah, it's great.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_22]: But after you do it around the air.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_23]: You don't listen to me.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_22]: What's up?
- 32:05[SPEAKER_23]: I'm not for the questions, right?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_23]: But whatever I talk about, would the coffee, okay, so she's honest with it?
- 32:12[SPEAKER_23]: But when I was in school, you couldn't live until gone.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_23]: You don't believe.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_23]: What are you going to do?
- 32:18[SPEAKER_23]: Coffee?
- 32:19[SPEAKER_23]: What's next?
- 32:19[SPEAKER_23]: You're going to sell it?
- 32:21[SPEAKER_23]: This is no candy?
- 32:23[SPEAKER_23]: No gum?
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_23]: You don't bring nothing.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_23]: Unless you got enough money, buddy.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_23]: And then you got to wait when we're not disrupting the rest of the class.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_23]: Just because he's out of school doesn't give her a ride.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_22]: Right.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_23]: Priority, you had me, oh, we're not out of the students.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_23]: Can't bring coffee, but she can.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_23]: You know, I'm saying there was rules.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, I mean, you couldn't walk into class with a sandwich.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_23]: Yeah.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_23]: Yeah.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_23]: I guess we couldn't even show coming.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_23]: You can't show it.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_23]: Come here.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_23]: Go away fast.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_23]: Just put it out.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_22]: Those were the days.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_23]: Yeah.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_23]: And I thought it was, uh, to keep discipline.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_23]: No, okay.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_23]: Yeah.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_23]: We need, uh, I was like a solo in the school too.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_23]: I don't know why the kids were eating runching fast.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_23]: No too much.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_23]: That's clean up.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_22]: And yeah, and who are these people that could get up there and says, I was practicing civil disobedience.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_22]: Who do they think they are?
- 33:25[SPEAKER_23]: Yeah.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_23]: Yeah.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_23]: People who are a special treatment are... She's going to grow up to be a Bernie Growers up.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_23]: Yeah, rich kids.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_23]: And they says, you know, if you do work in the poor schools, because when the kids get disciplined,
- 33:46[SPEAKER_23]: the parents would also discipline the children at home.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_22]: I know.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_23]: The spoiled rich kids, and they got in trouble, all the teachers in trouble.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_23]: I kid couldn't do not wrong.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_23]: Let's be the teacher, make a false accusation or trouble.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_22]: Mm-hmm.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_22]: Wow.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_23]: Okay, I just wanted to share all that with you.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_22]: No, I see what you're saying.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_22]: Thank you.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_23]: All right, thanks.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_22]: Anyways, there's a good point there.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_22]: We need a little discipline, yeah.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_22]: bring in your coffee into school like that, was it in subordination or was it civil disobedience who tell me, yeah, actually I think the young lady is going to have a very successful life because she's able to speak in public and make a stand and understand, imagine using it as a teenager in the North country using words like civil disobedience, I think they knew what that meant.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_22]: So, good for her, it probably comes from a great family.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_22]: Probably some hard-working farmers down near Crogan, somewhere in there, right?
- 34:51[SPEAKER_22]: I know people who went to Beaver River School.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_22]: They're good, Godfaring, smart, hard-working people.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_22]: They know how to show up and pay attention.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_22]: So, there you go, if they want to have a cup of coffee, it's all right with me.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_22]: Just like I don't care if the teacher has a wife.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_22]: Now, I don't know, there's probably other stuff you shouldn't be eating while you're in class.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_22]: But what do you have in a opinion on it?
- 35:24[SPEAKER_22]: Lead Story on Channel 7.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_22]: It noon today made the New York Post.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_22]: That's the problem these days.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_22]: There's no sense of community common experience when it comes to news.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_22]: It was like the giant tortoise.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: story I told you the other day because the other media doesn't cover that they choose not to and maybe it's not news I understand nobody it's hard to talk about it on a talk show but after noon you're on the air mayor excuse me if you're not to do it to on Tuesday it's not talk or Tuesday well does talk or Tuesday some places but the thing is I want to say about discipline in schools if you went to I.A.C.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_02]: stuff like that
- 36:10[SPEAKER_02]: then they would hit you hand with the rulers.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_02]: This girl at Watertown, the K-Junior, made me write, I will not talk in class 400 times.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_02]: I take three pants together, so that would go in the spiral notebook thing, and then they put me in the cubicle.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_02]: And I did write it.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_02]: I mean it.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_02]: And then she goes, no, I'm not accepting that.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_02]: And the principal goes, no, she's not.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Democrat, Democrat, get you.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_02]: Because we didn't get along.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_22]: There's any other guy.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_02]: I'm so sorry.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_22]: Well, listen, I mean, did you, yeah, but could you?
- 36:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to write it again on my father come down here or whatever.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_22]: Did you talk in class again?
- 37:01[SPEAKER_02]: No, I didn't.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_02]: I was just talking to somebody else.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: Here's what happened.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_02]: I want to tell you exactly a story.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: This teacher was talking about all there's no such thing as smelling and everything.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: This and then, and I'm like, and they're talking about taste buds.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_02]: And I said, well, I don't believe in that.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_02]: I go, I walk
- 37:37[SPEAKER_02]: When I'm even looking at them and the kid in class next to me is going down my mouth water right now when I was just describing it.
- 37:46[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_22]: Okay.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, it's a true story.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_22]: All right.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_22]: Well, you survived it also.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_22]: That's the important thing.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_02]: Don't I?
- 37:56[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't rewrite them again.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_22]: All right.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_02]: Me into the detention.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_22]: Okay.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_22]: Thanks.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_22]: I know.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_22]: I mean, everybody's.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_22]: disciplined in school, back in the day we were, right?
- 38:12[SPEAKER_22]: Back in the day we were disciplined.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know if they do that now.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_22]: Um, because he's right.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_22]: I mean, a lot of these toy toy parents say, well, Mike could couldn't do anything wrong or something like that.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know if in the Catholic schools, I could still wrap your knuckles with a ruler.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_22]: It's a good idea if they can.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_20]: Mm-hmm.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_22]: Good idea.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_22]: Alright, we're going to take time out for messages and we'll be back with more of the hotline in a moment.

- 41:57[SPEAKER_22]: all you need to know you know getting back to that maybe it is a good idea not to have the Christmas parade and just have the Santa thing in the tree lighting and you can make a nice event out of it yeah so maybe it is a good thing not to have the parade now in the other hand I wouldn't go out of a public meeting in an hour so there's an apparel way it's not a great
- 42:25[SPEAKER_22]: Now, I just let it slide and promote your other activities.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_22]: Our Christmas activities this year include visiting with Santa at the library, a tree lighting in front of City Hall, and a reception afterwards with milk and cookies, raw.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_22]: That's the better way to present it, not cancel on the parade.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_22]: Well, if you want to come see Santa again, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey

- 42:54[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know you, but probably most of you don't go to the parade.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_22]: I went couple three years ago we tried to get involved with a float vehicle in it and the weather was just terrible rain and everything, you know, I'm not doing that again.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_22]: I wouldn't do that again.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_22]: So, maybe it's not a good thing.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_22]: You could have a snowman contest or a bunch of other things you could do.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_22]: What do we got here?
- 43:32[SPEAKER_22]: Oh, let's see.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_22]: You guys, as Shane, I assume that's Councilman Garibrand about plans for the power plant.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_22]: Time is running short.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_22]: Well, that's okay.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_22]: Somebody else says,
- 43:50[SPEAKER_22]: we could have a pro-Palestinian march instead of a Christmas parade.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_22]: Uh, somebody else says, well, the socialist win first, you get rid of the Christmas parade.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_22]: Next it will be Christmas all together.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_22]: That's somebody who texted in, ask that self-proclaimed millionaire on your blog how he's stocks are doing now.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_22]: It's a market down or something.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_22]: I know it's been kind of mixed the last couple weeks, but I don't know exactly what's going on, but I don't even
- 44:37[SPEAKER_22]: Must be my icons.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_22]: I got moved around on the phone.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_22]: I can't find it.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_22]: Well anyway, yeah, it's been up and down lately.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_22]: No doubt about it.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_22]: No doubt about it.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_22]: Oh, there it is.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_22]: Stocks.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_22]: Middle East is going nuts, gas, and gas, and diesel fuels going up, yeah.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_22]: A.I.s going to kill us.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know if that's true or not.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_22]: What do you think of it?
- 45:23[SPEAKER_22]: Does anybody in the North country, this would be a good man on the street for a channel seven.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_22]: Does anybody up here that even nobody I is?
- 45:34[SPEAKER_22]: You know, it became a big, uh, subject of conversation when, um, Councilman Olney was an office.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_22]: And he would use AI to review documents and craft policy things and stuff like that.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_22]: You know, it is handy for doing that.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_22]: You can take certain legal documents and then scan a man and get him analyzed.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_22]: I mean, don't get me wrong.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_22]: It was not.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_22]: And same thing with the medical information, same thing with finance, if you wanted to know your, you know, if you had a lease on a car and you were thinking of getting out of it, you could enter all the parameters and we'll tell you how bad you're going to get bent over or something like that.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_22]: I mean, there's all sorts of things that AI does.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_22]: It's kind of handy.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_22]: And certainly in the area of graphic arts, making posters, pictures, having fun.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_22]: Sometimes people get in the lower board, you know.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, obviously there's abuse in it, but now they say it's going to kill us.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, I don't know what it's going to do.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_22]: Now I wrote that down, like I said, I got an opinion out of that last night when the heck did that go.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_22]: Now let's see, where it goes here, oh there it is.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_22]: It's kind of a long explanation.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_22]: But it says AI killing humanity by 2030 is possible in some scenarios, but far from inevitable.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_22]: If AI becomes substantially more capable in humans, it can conduct research, write into
- 47:27[SPEAKER_22]: Um, acquire resources and prove its own capabilities, yeah.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_22]: If humans give it to much autonomy, well, it's like your kids, you don't want to do that either.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_22]: If objectives don't reliably match human interests, if it becomes extremely difficult to shut down, there's a lot of things that can do, I mean, if I go, I guess,
- 47:57[SPEAKER_22]: Well, what was that movie where war games started, uh, ran a whole series of scenarios and started World War 3 or something like that, and then there were all sorts of, of course, 2001 of space Odyssey, Dave, I can't do that, uh, structure self-off, how Dave, you know, I can't do that.
- 48:28[SPEAKER_22]: But who knows, who knows?
- 48:33[SPEAKER_22]: But the great thing about AI is not only can it kill you, but if you ask it, it'll tell you how it's going to kill you.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_22]: It did not a great thing.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_22]: 755, 1240, our phone number.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_22]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today, do we have any data centers up there?
- 48:48[SPEAKER_23]: That's another thing to Democrats are all set over data.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_22]: Those don't bother me.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_22]: we all use all these gadgets you know when you like I said yesterday when you get to the point where your cat's litter box is hooked up to the internet maybe things have gone too far you ever think of that so what are you gonna do grinning bear it I guess grinning bear it
- 49:25[SPEAKER_22]: going to be up to those young graduates at Beaver River in elsewhere to deal with all of that.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, let's see, no other, you know, it's funny, we've got no shortage of topics here.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_22]: A. I came along and killed us all in the county still had that huge funds balance.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_22]: What would happen to it?
- 50:02[SPEAKER_22]: Get that.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_22]: Who'd get to spend that?
- 50:06[SPEAKER_22]: Beats me.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_22]: Beats me.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_22]: Well, city's going to demolish a couple more buildings.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_22]: You'll ask cars market.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_22]: Remember, ask cars on flower Avenue East?
- 50:18[SPEAKER_22]: Or did they have some meat back in the day?
- 50:20[SPEAKER_22]: That was their claim to fame.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_22]: They had the best meat.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, everybody.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_22]: living over another part of the south side you go over to askers get your beef and then the other one they're talking about it right near uh... the corner opposite gole star deli think that you should be a pizza thing in air insurance office and that's kind of nothing building to so i guess those are headed for the demolition block well that's something
- 50:58[SPEAKER_22]: Well, gradually, there's a lot of buildings that need demolition.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_22]: I've got about it, but actually, that one there that, uh, what is it, orchard in arsenal?
- 51:09[SPEAKER_22]: That's not a bad looking building.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_22]: You're fixed it up, but if nobody wants it, and ash cars wasn't a bad looking building either, but I don't know whether it was made into an apartment, but it doesn't look like much now.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_22]: Now, that's too bad.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_22]: Anybody used to shop at ash cars?
- 51:28[SPEAKER_22]: number of calendars market there was so many of those little markets all over town major's market was the whole come street market it's different now it's more specialty shop but there was a one i think there was one down the corner of water and there was one over i'm grants three and uh...
- 51:59[SPEAKER_22]: I think that was Cindy's family.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_22]: I'm not sure.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_22]: It was on middle street.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_22]: A lot of markets all over the place.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_07]: Well, not as much of that anymore.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_22]: But now we've combined functions.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_22]: We've got convenience stores where they can get all the food you want, which you can also take your laundry in there into the bathroom and clean it, and as long as you come out and use your wet underwear to clean the windows.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_22]: A lot of people were talking about it, but you won't see that in your mainstream media.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_22]: Well, they don't like that kind of news.
- 52:37[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_22]: Just think, go on up in Ogden'sburg, I mean, to people do their laundry and the convenience store bathrooms, probably not over in Canton or Protsdam, there's a little more sophistication there, but you never know, maybe in theburg, you don't know what might be happening.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_22]: No, well, what are we going on?
- 53:05[SPEAKER_22]: Anything else?
- 53:09[SPEAKER_22]: Um, where do you social, we made that story from the post on lack of socialization?
- 53:14[SPEAKER_22]: Where do our friends with this in the WQTK and Arkansas?
- 53:17[SPEAKER_22]: Where do they socialize?
- 53:21[SPEAKER_22]: I don't even know what the bars are up.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_22]: Is the, is the grand view still open?
- 53:28[SPEAKER_22]: I know the dark sides gone.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_22]: bachelor's three all of those things all the places were john more used to haunt all those bars on ford street most of them are gone you know friend of mine was telling me that back in the day and this is before he be tea cards there was one customer who's nickname was food stamp up in higgensburg
- 53:54[SPEAKER_22]: and he would always come in and trade his food stamps for cash and you know ten dollars in food stamps and you give me a six dollars in cash whatever the deal was at the time and there was a lot of that going on i mean it was a barter economy i don't know if that happens anymore but it sure used to but imagine you nicknames food stamp
- 54:23[SPEAKER_22]: There's probably someone in water town right now with that nickname.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_22]: So, um, anyway, 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call, we'll take time out for messages, we'll be right back.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_09]: Some businesses invest in their online presence.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_09]: Others apparently declare war on their customers.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_07]: At badwebside.com, we believe websites should take as long as possible to load.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_07]: We are convinced that our customers enjoy searching for contact information like it's a treasure hunt.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_07]: We reject modern mobile optimization in favor of microscopic buttons inside ways scrolling.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_07]: We maintain that every home page deserves at least six competing fonts, cheesy music, distracting graphics and one blurry stock photo of executives pointing at nothing.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_07]: We proudly support outdated plugins, broken links, and layouts that make your head spin.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_07]: We believe customers should have to work hard for basic information.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_07]: And finally, we suspect your competitors sincerely appreciate all of this.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_09]: Your website should build trust.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_09]: Not test patients.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_09]: Let Kaufflin help you create an online presence customers actually want to use.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_09]: Go online at Kaufflin.co to get started today.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_09]: That's Kaufflin.co.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_19]: Hey, it's Nick O'Brien.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_19]: Put it around here.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_19]: Most people know me as veterans.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_19]: When I'm not helping put out fires with the rest of the volunteer firefighters at North Pole, I'm over at FX Crapare Honda, helping move tires.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_19]: And if you need a truck, you need to come see me, because fall in a North country means hunting season.

- 57:46[SPEAKER_22]: They, I'm pro-40 W-A-T-N.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_22]: I was just looking at it.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_22]: They say that getting rid of that ash car's market building is going to cost 50 grand.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_22]: That's because the government's doing it.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_22]: If it was your own property, you could just do it on a Saturday morning.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_22]: Nav it out of there by 5 for 15, 20, maybe.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_22]: but uh... it looks like it was converted into some kind of apartments and the outside of the building now but uh... a lot of meat in there in the day a lot of meat and uh... you know just part of that neighborhood character that's gone now you know he used to go down there never like like but jolly's market over on each man he used to go there get

- 59:05[SPEAKER_22]: He's not that I don't like Glenn, but I generally don't catch his show because I'm doing something else at that time.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, like sleeping or something.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_22]: And so anyway, we'll see what he has to talk about later today.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_22]: I'm sure it'll be a good show.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_22]: And I'm sure many of these same topics will come up.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_23]: So anyway, um, that's it for today.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_22]: Okay.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_22]: Somebody said don't forget another message came in.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_22]: Um, don't forget the jolly chair.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_22]: I mentioned that.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, there's a lot of different places.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_22]: A lot of different places.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_22]: So anyway, that's our show for today.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_22]: You're listening to a community broadcast or stations.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_22]: You've got WQTK 92.7 in Ogden'sburg.
