Welcome to The Crew Podcast, Season two, episode number eighty three. I hope everyone had a wedding Wednesday on today. I know that I did, and like always, we're gonna start with a prayer, Dear Heavenly Father and the precious, matchless name of your son Jesus, we give this it's the these airways to you on tonight. May you give me the words to say, in the name of Jesus, made someone be edified on tonight in the precious name of Jesus. Amen and amen and amen, And welcome once again to the Crew podcast. And I am the host of Inspirational Moments with Prophety's Tea, and I am Minister Almerton Thomas, better known as Prophetess T. We're gonna start the night off with a quote by one of my favorite personalities, wat the lout King Mather Luther King said that faith is taking the first step on a staircase that you cannot see. The Bible tells us that faith is that the evidence of things not seen and the hope of those things that I hoped for. So on tonight we're gonna talk a little bit about faith. We know that any people that are Bible scholars know that Chapter eleven of Hebrews is known as the faith chapter in the Bible. And so why were these particular people singled out for being heroes and the Bible because no matter what God told them to do, they was obedient even when they don't understand it. Sometimes God will ask us to do things that we don't understand, but we do it in obedience to His word. As I was studying the faith heroes, I came across the first faith hero that is mentioned in the Bible, and that is Abel. And we know that Abel is known because he brought a more acceptable sacrifice to God. And instead of his brother learning what his sacrifice was and why it was more acceptable to God, he got mad at his brother and slaying his brother. And when God asked them, Abel, where is your brother? And he said to him, am I my brother's keeper? And God said, I heard your brother crying from the ground. So he's one of the first martyrs in the Bible, and he is still known today because of his faith the giving of his life. That is why we remember him on today. He left his legacy even in depth. And then another one of the faith heroes that I'd like to read about is Noah. Because Noah was a righteous and faithful man and when God told him to build the Ark, it was at a time when no rain was falling, no rain had ever fallen that no people didn't know what rain was. And we know people, they haven't changed much in their characteristics. So I'm sure as Noah was telling people, I'm building this ark because it's gonna rain, that they were saying, oh, foolish man, what are you talking about. It's not gonna rain, and we don't even know what rain is. And they laughed and mocked him. But he kept on working. He kept on building that arg he kept on listening to the instructions that God had gave him. Specifically, he didn't mind mind that people were mocking him. He didn't stop working because people doubt it, just like on today, people doubt that Jesus is coming back again. How many people have you heard said I've been hearing that since I was a little girl. My grandma used to say, Jesus is coming back. But if we look at the sign on today, we realized that Jesus is nearer today than he was when our grandparents were talking about the return of Jesus. And then we look at Brother Abraham. In this faith walk tonight, we're going to take a faith walk down memory Lane, and we look at brother Abraham, and God told him to leave his country, leave everything that's familiar to him. Just imagine that God told you to go to Africa, go back to Africa. He was like, I've never been in Africa. I'm not an African. I'm an African American. I can't leave all my family and my job and everything that I built up. And we began to question God about did you God? Is this really God? Did God really say? This is God telling me to pack up my family and pack up all that I know and leave. And then we see in that story that he tried to take his cousin with him, and his cousin's wife a look back, and she was turned to a excuse me. We know that sometimes when you're asked to leave everything that you know, that you'll look back. Maybe her family members was there, maybe she was leaving her childhood home, and she looked back and she was turned to a pillar of salt. And then God promised Abraham that he was going to be a father to many natures. And Abraham was an old man, he was his wife was pissed the child bearing years, and so Sarah decided that she was gonna help for God. They were faith heroes. But sometimes your faith waivers come. Sometimes your faith needs a little bit more faith. So Sarah tried to help for God out and he gave She gave her handmaiden to Apralham. But God didn't say that, Hey God child was gonna be a father many nations. He promised Abraham and Sarah that death seed was gonna be blessed. So when Sarah helped ask hey God, the help her husband out. When she saw hey God rocking her promise, when she saw hey God walking the that which was promised to her by God, she got mad. She got angry, she got jealous because that promise was meant for her. But God wasn't through with them yet. See, sometimes this is what I like about God, that you can make some mistakes. God knows and we're gonna fail. God knows we're gonna make mistakes. God knows that we're gonna have times when we fail him, when we let him down. But God, there is a God of a second chance. And when you mess up, when you mess up and you think you messed up too bad for God to use you, that's when God is able to use you. And when you become sorry, when you don't give up the faith when you hold on to God's unchanging hands. I know about faith because my faith needed a little bit more faith when I was laying in the rehab unable to do anything for myself at the mercy of people. Uh huh, and God had promised me that I'm gonna walk again. And even now as I'm laying in this hospital bed with my right side compromise, I still have the faith to believe God, believe the promises of God. See can you believe God when everything is going wrong? Can you believe God when your body is rocking in pain? Can you believe God when you see your dreams slowly slipping away? How can you believe God when your finances of funny? How can you believe God when your husband is going up beside your head? Can you believe God? How when your children are strung out on drugs? Can you believe the promises of God? Then it's easy, how That's what they said. Faith is the evidence of things not yet seen. Because you have to have faith to believe these things that God has spoken into your life. You can't get discouraged, you can't throw in the towel. You gotta be steadfast and unmovable. We are more than conquerors. And Christ Jesus, Howeluiah, how Lleluiah. I came by the night, ah to motivate somebody, how Ah to increase somebody's faith. On tonight, somebody's faith might be getting a little weary. How don't get weary and well doing Ah Luijah, you shall reaper. Holler Lujah. I have many seeds in the ground, and I'm gonna reaper my harvest. Sometimes I gotta plant my seed in secret. Now sometimes I got a water my seeds with tears. But I'm gonna harvest what I have sown. Glory be to God. On tonight. You gotta give God your oil. See people, Ah, they see me laying in my bed of a flitch. And some people say, why do you show up on Facebook? Why do you show up on YouTube? And what I say to that up is, don't try to dim my light because you've been disconnected from the thought. Why aren't you not on praise booker? Why ain't you doing what God told you to do? And the name of Jesus, How we give excuses, but when we have faith in God, that no matter what comes, and no matter what goes, I'm gonna do what God has called me to do. I learned a long time ago to stop pleasing people, try and stop trying to make people happy, because the same people that put you up on a better still today tonight, when you don't sing in their tune tonight, they'll take you down. So I played to an audience of one. I play to please Jesus. Hollerluijah, Hollerluijah. You can't make me doubt him because I know too much about him. See I know how that when I was on my death bed, when the doctor said it was nothing that they can do, when the nurse wanted to hold my hand, why I transpire her. Glory be the God. Now I didn't receive the reports of the doctor. I didn't want anybody that was speaking death to touch me. Hollerluijah, Glory be to God. See these people that are named as fath heroes, some of them you wouldn't have picked. Uh huh. How many of you have would pick? Ray have prostitute a woman of the night to put on How the list of faith heroes, Glory be to God? But God? How users ordinary people? How to do extra ordinary things? If you want to be the change Ah that you want to see. Step out on faith. Do like Martin Luther King said, take the first step on a staircase that you can't even see. A Glory be to God. But at this time, glory be to God. We're gonna go to commercial break for a minute now. Holleredlujah, Thank you Jesus, thank you. Hally lujas. Yeah, allelujah, hallelujah, allelujah, hallelujah. How many of us have faith that what God has promised us is going to come to for witch. And there's another high personality on the faith heroes that I love to talk about. I love to talk about Brother Joseph. H How you know the story of brother Joseph. His brothers hated him and they plotted against him to kill him. And he went into Potter's house and he was doing good, and all of a sudden, now a handa enemy got mad and Potts's wife wanted to lay with him, but Joseph ran and she told us lie on him. Glory be to God. When you are doing something for God, how people will lie on you. People will send to live your name, people will run your name down in the ground. That's why I don't please people. I'm not looking her to be a people please, but I'm looking how to please my God. Glory be to God on tonight. And so we're talking about brother Joseph. Uh huh. He went to prison, but when he was in prison, he had favor with God. If you got favor with God, uh, ty ben, I got favor. I got favor on tonight. Well, Joseph had favor with the warning, and he became the head of the prisoners. And then two prisoners in jail. I had a dream, and Joseph was able to interpret that dream, and he said, listen here, when y'all get out of here, remember me, uh huh. But sometimes when we get out of our situation, we forget, we forget what God has done for us. But the two the one man, because one man's fate was he was gonna die. And the man who lived remembered Joseph uh high, and he said, I know a man that knows all about me. I know a man that told me what my dreams mean. I know a man holler Louijah. So Pharaoh called Joseph, and Joseph said, listen here, Pharaoh, huh, you gonna have seven good years, and no seven years. I don't use up everything that grows, but put some aside, because after the seven good years, it's gonna be seven bad years. And a famine was in the land and over back in cannon Land where he left his brothers, where he left those that plotted to kill him. How many people know that is not strangers that plot to kill your character. It's not strangers that plot to kill your influence, but it's your own family her Glory be the God. So Joseph's brothers needed some food, and his father said, come on over here, boys, I heard that there was some food and cannon land. Go over and see if you can buy some. And when the boys got there, they didn't notice how dude Joseph was. They thought that Joseph was still where they left him. They left him in prison. They don't know whether he lived or died, but he was there standing in front of him. But they didn't know him, but he knew them. Glory be the God, and he could have been like some of us. So we would have said, now it's a chancer for us to get back at these jokers. They tried to kill me. They sold me into slavery. Ah huh. But Joseph helped them. And then when they found out who Joseph was, they was trembling in their boots. It's time for him to take revenge. They remembered, Glory be the God. Excuse me, they remembered what they did to Joseph, and Joseph said to them, you meant it for my bad, for God, turning around for my good. There's some things that happened in your life that the enemy ment for bad, for God is turning around in your life. He's turning around. He's turning around in your life. Don't give up. Have faith for the sigh of a mustard seed. Glory be to God. I led Luiah. I am grateful, grateful, grateful for the things that God has done in my life. Yeah, sometimes I made some mistakes. Sometimes I turned my back on God, Hollered Luijah. But I got that little bit of faith. And once I got a hold of that little bit of faith, I held don now and tell my faith begin to grow to the fact that I didn't believe of the reports of the world, but I believe the reports of my God. Glory be to God. Hollered Louiah, Thank you Jesus. And but on tonight, I have a freebee that I'm getting into everybody who is listening to this broadcast is an ebook called The Magic of Starting Over. Because that's a good thing about having faith in God. Yeah, Abraham fail God, Sarah fail God, Gideon fail God, Hallelujah, hallelujah. But the great thing about it is that God is a God of many chances. As long as we want to start over. As long as we have a repenting heart, you can start over. So on tonight, I'm offering everyone who is listening to this broadcast and might be listening to the replay of this broadcast or for in them, a free ebook which is entitled The Magic of Starting Over. I am also in the process of publishing my book Faith, which explores the Faith heroes and how that all that they went through they still held on to their faith. Paul went through a lot. Excuse me. He started out persecuting the Jews, but when he was on that road to Damascus, God struck him down with blindness and he said, Ah, what do you want with me? Lord? And he said, I've got something for you to do in the name of Jesus. And then everything that Paul did to the early Jews they tried to do to him. He was stoned, he was beating her, he was shipwrecked. But he never gave up on his faith. He held on because in order the basis of being a Christian is having faith. You have to believe that Jesus is who he said he is, that he died on the cross for our sittings. But it don't in there the chapter don't in there. He got up on that third morning now with all glory in his hand. That's the hope that we have that one day when his old life is over, when all the pain is over, when all the suffering is over, when all the tears I have stopped flowing. Now, Holler Louiah, We're gonna cross that river. Holler Louiah. The study war no more. We ain't gonna cry no more. We're not gonna be hurt no more. We're not gonna be betraying no more. We're not gonna be rejected no more. If we just hold on now to our faith, our faith, and know that when we go into that grave, that's not it. The story doesn't end gonna be the God. The story doesn't end there. So keep your faith on tonight. Don't let your faith waver. Don't get tired and weary well doing, because you're gonna reap what you have sown. So make sure that what you're sewing is good seed on good ground. Don't give up. Hold on to your faith. And if you look on the screens, the freebie is on the screen that you can get your freebe on tonight. The magic of starting over. Thank you thank you, Thank you for listening on tonight. If you know somebody that needs to be inspired, that needs to be motivated, that needs a little bit more faith in their life, like this and sharing and let them make a comment on tonight. I'm here every first and third Wednesdays of the month with whatever it is that God gives me to give the people on tonight, like always, We're gonna end in prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, and the pressions matter the name of your Son, Jesus, I come boldly to your throne on tonight, thanking you for the faith that you have given me. God. God, let him ask for a little bit more faith in the dark times and the troubled times when they can't fill your presence. God, let them ask for a little bit more of faith God. And those that don't know you God, on tonight and the parton of their sins, God repent, God, let them become God, excuse me, let them become godly sorry on tonight, and they have enough faith to accept You as their Lord and savior, to know that you died on the Cross for our sins. And there's nothing that we did so bad yesterday. It's even nothing that we did so bad five minutes ago that you won't forgive us for God. And let them find a Bible, believe in church God, and growing their relationship with You God, so they can see the manifestation of Your promises over their life. In the name of Jesus, I pray, I believe you God that this prayer is gonna reach where it was sitting in Jesus' name a man, a man and a man. And once again, welcome, welcome, thank you for coming on tonight. Share this, Share this, Shiites, and subscribe to anyone who you know that might need a little bit more faith. And I will see you in two weeks at this same channel, at this same time. And Jesus name, I pray, I hope you all have a terrific, terrific Thursday. See you in two weeks.
