A horrific family tragedy unfolded in Whitefield when a shooting left three dead and one critically injured — all victims of a single gunman, Eric Blake Jr., who then took his own life. Michael Marro, 41, and his mother Amy Blake, 59, were both killed in the attack; their deaths officially classified as homicides. Eric Blake Jr., 29, died at the scene.
