- 0:09Argon Agents took the Ender Dragon in a sandboxed, randomized survival world, and gadget reported
- 0:15from the paper. Nobody assigned roles, strategies, or game-specific tools. Each one drove a player
- 0:22through the open-source MindFlare library and coordinated an in-game chat and shared memory.
- 0:27They split the work, warned each other, passed coordinates, and pulled items off dead teammates.
- 0:34Jane Sick made tools, Gildenia gathered food, Arasian lit a portal, and Bula came landed the final blow.
- 0:41The clock read 27.23 hours, most of it on the dragon, and they exchanged 229 messages.
- 0:49A fifth agent, the observer, watched for cheating and published reports.
- 0:53The team called it the first end-to-end autonomous finish on standard mind-flare alone.
- 0:58No prescouted seeds, a plan held across thousands of steps for more than a day.
- 1:04Tim Cook, in Beijing, said Apple has approval for a first batch of Apple intelligence tools for Chinese users.
- 1:1136 Krab reported.
- 1:13The batch's real-time translation, the eliminate tool in photos and writing tools in a beta later this month.
- 1:19It leaves out Siri AI and the other next-generation features from this year's Worldwide Developers Conference.
- 1:26A July 15 notice covered a July 8 filing by Apple Technology Development in Shanghai for a model named Apple Smart.
- 1:35Alibaba told the media, Tong Yi Qianwen will sit inside Apple Smart on iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, and VisionOS.
- 1:43A Mac support page for that pairing showed up on Apple site and later came down.
- 1:47on. September 2nd trial licenses covered the National iPhone Duo Foldable and the
- 1:53iPhone 18 Pro series, and a September 29th renewal added filings for Apple Smart, Tong
- 1:59Yi Wan Shang and Tong Yi Qian Wen. Apple's EU Energy Label puts iPhone Duo's battery
- 2:06at 4,883 milliamp hours. Mac rumors reported, that matches a 2-cell leak, 2,962, and 1,921.
- 2:17phone. The phone is eSim only, so the figure should hold worldwide, with no SIM tray eating
- 2:22space. I fix it measured the eSim iPhone 18 Pro at 4,288, and the eSim Pro Max at 5,567.
- 2:33Nvidia has told its next custom high-band with memory suppliers to use TSMC's 3nm process,
- 2:40the sole economic daily reported, via the information.
- 2:43The ask went to Samsung Electronics, SK Heinex, and Micron, and the point was to standardize
- 2:49on that process.
- 2:51Meta said an automated security system mistakenly suspended the No Kings Coalition's Instagram
- 2:57account during nationwide demonstrations.
- 2:59Bloomberg reported, that account names a clawed tool as the trigger.
- 3:04The Minecraft paper's own tally cuts the other way.
- 3:07The agents died 605 times.
- 3:10They consumed 1.35 billion input tokens.
- 3:13The bill was $810 at Gemini's list price, or $1,620 at the standard price.
- 3:21A finished day-long plan that dies hundreds of times is a completed run, and the paper
- 3:26does not show the same stack clearing a second world.
- 3:30Microsoft's UK business software reaches more than a million businesses and public bodies,
- 3:35and about 20 million users a month.
- 3:37And the competition and market's authority has put that stack under a provisional strategic
- 3:42market designation. Result sense reported. The authority said so on October 16th,
- 3:48and a final decision is due by February 2027. It found Microsoft's strong and five activities,
- 3:55relational databases, security tools, PC operating systems, server operating systems,
- 4:00and productivity suites. The name products are Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams,
- 4:06Plus a growing co-pilot and the security and server lines.
- 4:10The findings say switching is hard, which limits choice and weekends rival developers.
- 4:16And commercial terms, plus integration, add more barriers.
- 4:19On a separate cloud track, Microsoft and Amazon Web Services have started connecting
- 4:23their data centers to competitors' networks.
- 4:26Google first.
- 4:27Both have scrapped the charge for moving data out when a customer switches.
- 4:31And another cloud update is due in spring 2027.
- 4:34Talks with both companies on further steps are still open.
- 4:38A designation would not mean a finding of wrongdoing.
- 4:42It would let the regulator consider conduct requirements or pro-competition interventions.
- 4:47The roadmap asks three things, whether buyers can pick their own AI tools and whether
- 4:52co-pilot alternatives get a fair chance, whether security bundling restricts choice, and whether
- 4:58customers can choose which cloud runs their licenses.
- 5:01Chief Executive Sarah Cardell said organizations should be able to choose what works, switch
- 5:07when they want, and combine suppliers.
- 5:09For Microsoft, February 2027 is the gate on co-pilot's place inside those suites.
- 5:15For Amazon, interconnects are underway, and the egress fee on a switch is already gone.
- 5:21For Google, the recorded change is that it was first onto those competitor links, ahead
- 5:26of the spring update.
- 5:27The authority is taking views on the designation and the roadmap before that February decision.
- 5:32On the calendar, iPhone Duo is set for Friday, October 23rd.
- 5:38HomePod Mini 2 is set for Friday, October 30th.
- 5:41Before we go, the China Beta of those approved Apple Intelligence tools is still the step
- 5:46due before this month ends.
