- 0:00Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie in his time for us to
- 0:03Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, and as always I invite
- 0:06Speaker 1: you to join along with me in prayer. I was
- 0:08Speaker 1: talking to a dear friend the other day and we
- 0:11Speaker 1: started talking about something, and it was something that actually
- 0:14Speaker 1: happened in my past, and when I shared it, I
- 0:16Speaker 1: just kind of shared it and kept going. And then
- 0:18Speaker 1: the friend came back later and said, now, share did
- 0:20Speaker 1: you tell me? And they said back to me what
- 0:23Speaker 1: I said to them, And I thought, Lord Jesus, that
- 0:26Speaker 1: was something that apparently I thought was buried. You know,
- 0:30Speaker 1: it happened years ago. I didn't think any more about it.
- 0:32Speaker 1: So today I want to pray that the Lord will
- 0:35Speaker 1: heal us of things that we've buried and probably hidden
- 0:41Speaker 1: from ourselves. Heavenly Father, today we come before you with
- 0:44Speaker 1: hearts that are open and vulnerable. Lord, You know us completely.
- 0:49Speaker 1: You know the parts of our stories that we share
- 0:51Speaker 1: with others, and you know the chapters that we've never
- 0:53Speaker 1: told anyone. You know the pain we've buried, the wounds
- 0:56Speaker 1: we've hidden, the tears that we've cried in secret. Father,
- 1:00Speaker 1: Today we asked you to heal us emotionally mentally from
- 1:04Speaker 1: the things we buried and hidden. Lord, there are things
- 1:08Speaker 1: that happened to us that we never fully processed. There
- 1:13Speaker 1: are words that were spoken over us that we still carried.
- 1:17Speaker 1: There are betrayals we never understood, rejections that wounded our confidence,
- 1:22Speaker 1: losses that changed us, and disappointments that left us afraid
- 1:26Speaker 1: to even a hope again. Some of us learned how
- 1:30Speaker 1: to smile while hurting. We learned how to say I'm
- 1:33Speaker 1: fine when we were falling apart inside. We became strong
- 1:37Speaker 1: for everyone else while silently struggling within ourselves. But today, Lord,
- 1:42Speaker 1: we don't just want to survive the pain. We want
- 1:45Speaker 1: to be healed from it. Father, bring your healing light
- 1:48Speaker 1: into every hidden place. Give us the courage to face
- 1:52Speaker 1: what we have buried, not so that we could relive
- 1:55Speaker 1: the pain, but so that we can finally heal from
- 1:58Speaker 1: it and release it. Heal them that still have power
- 2:01Speaker 1: over us. Heal the wounds that have shaped the way
- 2:04Speaker 1: that we think, love, trust, and even see ourselves. Lord,
- 2:08Speaker 1: heal our minds from thoughts that have tormented us. Break
- 2:11Speaker 1: the cycles of fear, anxiety, shame, insecurity, and self condemnation.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Silence the voices that tell us that we're not enough,
- 2:20Speaker 1: that we're not worthy, that we will always be broken,
- 2:23Speaker 1: and that our past will determine our future. Father, heal
- 2:27Speaker 1: our emotions. Teach us that it's safe to feel again.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Help us grieve what we need to grieve. Help us
- 2:33Speaker 1: forgive what we need to forgive. Help us to release anger, bitterness, resentment,
- 2:38Speaker 1: and regret. Where we built walls to protect ourselves, give
- 2:42Speaker 1: us wisdom to know which walls need to come down
- 2:45Speaker 1: and which boundaries need to remain. Lord, remind us that
- 2:49Speaker 1: healing does not mean what happened didn't matter. Healing means
- 2:53Speaker 1: it no longer has permission to control our future. Today,
- 2:58Speaker 1: we surrender the pain we carry in silence. We surrender
- 3:01Speaker 1: the memories that we've tried to forget. We surrender the
- 3:05Speaker 1: wounds we have hidden from everyone but you and now. Father,
- 3:10Speaker 1: We declare, we are not our trauma. We are not
- 3:13Speaker 1: our mistakes. We are not what someone did to us.
- 3:16Speaker 1: We are not what someone said about us. Our past
- 3:20Speaker 1: does not have the final word over our future. We
- 3:24Speaker 1: declare that God is healing our minds. God is healing
- 3:27Speaker 1: our hearts. God is restoring our peace. God is renewing
- 3:30Speaker 1: our jok. God is teaching us how to live free. Father,
- 3:35Speaker 1: give us grace to seek wise and healthy support when
- 3:38Speaker 1: we need it. Surround us with safe people who will
- 3:41Speaker 1: listen without judgment and love without condemnation. Help us to
- 3:45Speaker 1: understand that asking for help is our weakness is wisdom.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord for being close to the broken hearted.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Thank you for seeing the wounds no one else can see.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Thank You for touching the places we thought could never
- 3:57Speaker 1: be healed. Today we release what we carry for too long.
- 4:01Speaker 1: We give you our hidden pain, our burying members, our
- 4:04Speaker 1: deepest wounds. Heal us, God from the inside, our make
- 4:08Speaker 1: us hold, make us free, and let the testimony of
- 4:11Speaker 1: our healing become evidence that no place is too broken
- 4:15Speaker 1: for your love to reach in the mighty healing and
- 4:17Speaker 1: restoring name of Jesus, Amen, Amen and Amen.
