- 1:38Speaker 1: you in it there name now, Beatrice, I need to
- 1:42Speaker 1: ask you before we get into our recap. After watching
- 1:45Speaker 1: the episode, did you have any takeaways, any thoughts, any feelings,
- 1:50Speaker 1: big feelings that you had to let out, big feelings.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I don't know if I got a takeaway. Besides Lydia
- 1:57Speaker 2: looks gorgeous. I can't really every dress I can't take it, dude,
- 2:01Speaker 2: every single one. I'm just like, fuck you gorgeous.
- 2:08Speaker 1: My takeaway is that Veronica is a monster. And as
- 2:13Speaker 1: I was watching this, who was trying to read her
- 2:15Speaker 1: aura and her energy and her vibes vibe check and
- 2:20Speaker 1: my thing was like, what's your astrological sign? Because you're
- 2:23Speaker 1: giving Gemini like you're giving toxic, out of control, coddled Gemini.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You're also giving some fire signs. You're giving some aries. Yeah,
- 2:35Speaker 1: you're giving some aries Mars maybe maybe maybe Scorpio, but no,
- 2:40Speaker 1: because with Scorpio they're a bit more reserved. They're definitely plottin. Yeah,
- 2:45Speaker 1: for sure, they can definitely be monsters, but they're waiting
- 2:47Speaker 1: for the right moment just to sting your ass, whereas
- 2:51Speaker 1: Veronica's just barfing her vitriol and her poison and her
- 2:54Speaker 1: abuse over everybody and everything. I'm like, what's your sign.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I want to know your son's sign. I want to
- 3:00Speaker 1: know your moon, I want to know your risings. It
- 3:03Speaker 1: is your absolute free radical psycho. I bet she's like fire.
- 3:07Speaker 1: She's got to have some fire energy, because that's the
- 3:09Speaker 1: kind of for me as a double fire. I'm like,
- 3:12Speaker 1: you know, you can get uncontrolled, uncontrollable fast because you're
- 3:17Speaker 1: not calming down your flight. There's no anchor, there's no
- 3:21Speaker 1: tether to this dimension. You're floating out there in a hailscape. Hodi, girls,
- 3:27Speaker 1: that's wrong. You let yourself get possessed by demons. You
- 3:30Speaker 1: need to calm down. We need an exercise. And that's
- 3:34Speaker 1: my takeaway. Well based, Okay, So without further ado, let's
- 3:38Speaker 1: get into the recap of Welcome to Blackfel season seven,
- 3:42Speaker 1: episode six, entitled.
- 3:45Speaker 2: The Birds and the Bees. Girl this combo.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I forgot about Barry because I'm focused so much on
- 3:54Speaker 1: Veronica being an absolute demon. Yeah, but like, what's wrong
- 3:59Speaker 1: with bear Berry?
- 4:01Speaker 2: I don't know if he's like trying to be funny.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I think so, but like, is he not aware of
- 4:06Speaker 1: some of the conversations that are happening online about how
- 4:10Speaker 1: he's giving a little bit of that bread energy, no,
- 4:14Speaker 1: a little bit of the pervness? Like has he never
- 4:16Speaker 1: heard that about himself? Because wouldn't you try to watch
- 4:22Speaker 1: what you're saying. I just felt like it was so
- 4:24Speaker 1: inappropriate and weird. Sorry, I'm getting ahead of us, Yeah,
- 4:27Speaker 1: getting ahead of our. It was weird.
- 4:29Speaker 2: It was cringey. There were some moments where I was
- 4:31Speaker 2: laughing and I'm just like, God, but I was like
- 4:33Speaker 2: laughing at the absurdity of it because I just can't
- 4:35Speaker 2: imagine having a conversation.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Like that with my They were talking about boxes.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I know, like cooters, I know.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Like Perry's stop like, but I mean I also had
- 4:46Speaker 1: a million children, so I guess he knows his way.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Around a box. I mean you'd have to write yeah, shit.
- 4:52Speaker 2: But we start the episode off at the Plath family farm.
- 4:56Speaker 2: We have the family doing some landscaping prep in preparation
- 5:01Speaker 2: for Lydia's wedding because she's gonna get married there, and
- 5:04Speaker 2: we have Isaac. He's so handsome, he is so tall,
- 5:08Speaker 2: He's so tall.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Tall drink of water. What a handsome youngness.
- 5:11Speaker 2: So handsome. We got Isaac, we got Barry. And then
- 5:14Speaker 2: we also have Amber and Ethan, who have just returned
- 5:18Speaker 2: from their.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Awful, tense, abusive, tite marriage Boca, and everyone starts kind
- 5:26Speaker 3: of talking some shit subtly about Veronica.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Subtly.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Well, they're not like calling her a big old nasty bitch.
- 5:33Speaker 2: They're just saying like she's.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Crazy, right, and they're bringing up how her behavior when
- 5:38Speaker 1: Ethan and Amber were in Boca was belittling and degrading, yes,
- 5:42Speaker 1: toward Micah. Barry is obviously concerned about what's happening to
- 5:47Speaker 1: his son, and even Isaac is just like, I'm sorry.
- 5:50Speaker 1: We lived through Olivia, Like we already know what this
- 5:56Speaker 1: is like, and I don't want any part of this
- 5:58Speaker 1: with Veronica. And if she's going to be coming my
- 6:00Speaker 1: family and like bugging my fifteen year old sister and
- 6:03Speaker 1: gas lamping Micah, then I'm gonna say something about it.
- 6:06Speaker 1: He's like, I will take care of that, and I'm like,
- 6:08Speaker 1: oh my god, I love it. He's becoming a man. Definitely,
- 6:11Speaker 1: Isaac's becoming a man. I love it.
- 6:13Speaker 2: And Isaac says something like I can smell the bullshit,
- 6:15Speaker 2: like I know after dealing with Olivia, Like I this
- 6:18Speaker 2: is a playbook that's happening, Like I know what's going on.
- 6:22Speaker 1: This is stupid.
- 6:23Speaker 2: And I was wondering, like, while he was expressing all
- 6:26Speaker 2: of this, if that was what the fight was about,
- 6:28Speaker 2: because I wonder if, like at the wedding, Isaac starts
- 6:32Speaker 2: calling Veronica out on some bullshit and like maybe Micah
- 6:35Speaker 2: like is drunkenly trying to defend her God, because he's
- 6:39Speaker 2: still trying to work on their relationship for some reason,
- 6:42Speaker 2: and maybe that's why they get in a fight.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Good call.
- 6:44Speaker 2: And then after Isaac beats his ass, maybe Mikeh's like, oh, yeah,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I'm wrong.
- 6:49Speaker 1: That actually makes sense. I was wondering, Well, when you
- 6:52Speaker 1: think about the intervention scene that they show in the
- 6:55Speaker 1: mid season trailer where everyone's sitting down with Veronica and
- 6:58Speaker 1: telling her that she's a monster, redeemable. Micah does not
- 7:03Speaker 1: have a detached nose or any stitches. So this is
- 7:06Speaker 1: pre wedding that they have this intervention. Yeah, and then
- 7:09Speaker 1: they get to the wedding, and maybe Micah's on his
- 7:12Speaker 1: bullshit in defense of Veronica, who's treated everybody terribly, and
- 7:16Speaker 1: that is what prompts the fight.
- 7:18Speaker 2: That's what I'm wondering.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I can see it act because.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Isaac is like totally upset about how Mike is being treated.
- 7:24Speaker 2: He's upset that Veronica's talking shit to Amber, who is
- 7:27Speaker 2: a minor. He's like just frustrated about this whole situation,
- 7:30Speaker 2: And like, Barry is annoying to me because I'm like,
- 7:33Speaker 2: why don't you just be a dad, Like, why don't
- 7:35Speaker 2: you like talk to Micah and ask him how he's doing.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Barry doesn't care. Barry's just be bootbopping.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I think Barry cares. I just don't think that Barry
- 7:43Speaker 1: knows how to be a dad in that way. Yeah,
- 7:46Speaker 1: he's being a Disney dad and just kind of being
- 7:48Speaker 1: available for when his kids approach him, as opposed to
- 7:52Speaker 1: interjecting himself into some problematic situations, whether it's Lydia and
- 7:57Speaker 1: this rushed marriage, or whether it's Micah was literally being
- 8:01Speaker 1: abused by his partner. Because he's hearing all of this,
- 8:04Speaker 1: and it struck me as we were watching the four
- 8:07Speaker 1: of them that they had already talked about this, like
- 8:10Speaker 1: the family has been talking about Veronica. But for whatever reason,
- 8:15Speaker 1: Barry wanted to litigate this on camera, like he wanted
- 8:18Speaker 1: to put it all out there so everybody understood what
- 8:21Speaker 1: Veronica has been doing, because maybe maybe Barry does intend
- 8:26Speaker 1: to confront it at some point. It's trying to make
- 8:29Speaker 1: a case as for why. But it's clear to me
- 8:31Speaker 1: that everybody has been talking about Veronica.
- 8:34Speaker 2: You know. I could see that he was doing that
- 8:36Speaker 2: to cover his butt because maybe they learned their lessons
- 8:38Speaker 2: from Olivia, because they were kind of like keeping things
- 8:42Speaker 2: under wraps when it came to Olivia. Olivia was coming
- 8:44Speaker 2: out with these stories and these accusations and stuff, and
- 8:47Speaker 2: like Kim and Barry were just kind of keeping quiet
- 8:50Speaker 2: to themselves, and like they would occasionally throw jabs to Olivia,
- 8:53Speaker 2: but they weren't like calling it out because they were
- 8:55Speaker 2: just trying to keep the peace. But I could see
- 8:57Speaker 2: this because in this scene, Barry's something to the effect of, like, well,
- 9:01Speaker 2: I don't know why Veronica would think that we called
- 9:04Speaker 2: her a liar. I've never thought that she was a liar.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I've never even said that. I like Veronica. I think
- 9:10Speaker 2: she's cool, So he's like doing damage control a little bit,
- 9:13Speaker 2: and I could see why. Like Veronica before the season aired,
- 9:16Speaker 2: was on Reddit saying all this shit because she looks
- 9:20Speaker 2: terrible in this season and it's not the editing, like,
- 9:23Speaker 2: it's just her behavior. Yes, And the Plaths are just like,
- 9:26Speaker 2: what the fuck's going on with you though? Right?
- 9:28Speaker 1: And the Plaths are gonna do what the Plaths know
- 9:31Speaker 1: how to do, which is to rally around each other
- 9:33Speaker 1: exactly and close in ranks. And so Veronica, you don't
- 9:36Speaker 1: have a chance, but you've got Amber upset. You've got
- 9:41Speaker 1: Ethan upset, Like Ethan's got your number, and now you're
- 9:45Speaker 1: an enemy because you're talking to his ex wife, who
- 9:48Speaker 1: he blames everything on I know, which is wrong. Yeah,
- 9:52Speaker 1: but like Ethan does not like you, and even Isaac
- 9:55Speaker 1: is ready to like confront you about what you're doing
- 9:57Speaker 1: to his brother because they've been through like this traumatic
- 10:00Speaker 1: thing with Olivia, which is like I feel to me,
- 10:03Speaker 1: they're making too much out of that because I feel
- 10:05Speaker 1: like Olivia, you know Olivia, and I'm not gonna say
- 10:09Speaker 1: it again, but Olivia was in process. Olivia was a
- 10:11Speaker 1: young woman. Olivia had some things that she was working through.
- 10:15Speaker 1: But like she I think for the most part, she
- 10:17Speaker 1: was doing the best that she could. Veronica, on the
- 10:21Speaker 1: other hand, is not. Veronica is so deeply emotionally unregulated
- 10:27Speaker 1: and does not seem interested in the least in trying
- 10:30Speaker 1: to figure out how to curb her abusive tendencies. Like
- 10:34Speaker 1: she's proud of the fact that she interrupts Micah, She's
- 10:38Speaker 1: proud of the fact that she's calling him a worm
- 10:40Speaker 1: and a weak man, like she likes that aspect of herself.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I never saw that in Olivia. And so when we
- 10:46Speaker 1: get to the conversation in this scene where they're talking
- 10:49Speaker 1: about how Teagan is such a great girlfriend and Kaylin
- 10:52Speaker 1: is perfect in the family, I'm like, well, is that
- 10:55Speaker 1: because these girls are just thoroughly submissive and doing their
- 10:59Speaker 1: very best to not cause any waves, whereas Olivia was
- 11:03Speaker 1: trying to assert her own power and figure out herself.
- 11:06Speaker 1: It was just like that was a little weird to me.
- 11:09Speaker 1: What did you think of them saying that?
- 11:11Speaker 2: I mean, I could totally see how it could be
- 11:13Speaker 2: construed that way, because, like, especially with their like religious
- 11:17Speaker 2: background and everything, like, there could be like an element
- 11:20Speaker 2: of like these women need to just stay in their
- 11:23Speaker 2: lane and shut up and just be submissive and feminine
- 11:26Speaker 2: and like not speak their minds. I could see that,
- 11:29Speaker 2: But I could also see a point with when Micah
- 11:32Speaker 2: and Ethan were talking about Olivia, Like Veronica's talking to
- 11:36Speaker 2: a person who actively hates their family and like doesn't
- 11:40Speaker 2: like them, hasn't liked them for many years. She has
- 11:44Speaker 2: gone on Facebook, not Facebook, but she's gone on Instagram
- 11:46Speaker 2: and TikTok outing them and like posting secret recordings and
- 11:50Speaker 2: stuff like that. And like, again, there's like truth to
- 11:53Speaker 2: some of this, I get it, but like they are
- 11:55Speaker 2: coming from a perspective of they love their family. They
- 11:59Speaker 2: want people to love their family, and if you want
- 12:01Speaker 2: to be married to me or you want to be
- 12:03Speaker 2: in a relationship with me, you're gonna have to get
- 12:04Speaker 2: along with my family. Because I think Micah or no
- 12:07Speaker 2: Isaac's the one that says families first. I'm like, I
- 12:11Speaker 2: wouldn't want to be with a woman who didn't like
- 12:13Speaker 2: my family and didn't get along with me.
- 12:15Speaker 1: And likewise, I will respect and love her family exactly.
- 12:18Speaker 1: That's just my value, and that's a fair value, and
- 12:20Speaker 1: I like that value. But I just feel like they're
- 12:23Speaker 1: in these characterizations, they're being too hard on Olivia because
- 12:27Speaker 1: Veronica is not Olivia. Like, Olivia is so much better
- 12:31Speaker 1: in every way to me than Veronica, who I just
- 12:33Speaker 1: feel like is such a trash person. Yeah, just an awful, mean, terrible, verbally, violent,
- 12:46Speaker 1: abusive person. Olivia had her issues, and yeah, she was
- 12:50Speaker 1: passive aggressive and sometimes aggressive aggressive, but she was never
- 12:54Speaker 1: that that I saw.
- 12:56Speaker 2: No, she was definitely more covert, I think, And I
- 12:59Speaker 2: to give Olivia credit, like she came from the same
- 13:02Speaker 2: world as the Plaths and so like there was a
- 13:05Speaker 2: lot of validity to some of the things that she
- 13:07Speaker 2: was saying, and like she was I think projecting some
- 13:10Speaker 2: of her family bullshit onto the Plaths, which I don't
- 13:12Speaker 2: think they necessarily deserved, but she has every right to
- 13:15Speaker 2: not like them. Yeah, and she was the one that
- 13:17Speaker 2: chose to leave and got out of it, and she's
- 13:19Speaker 2: just like done, I'm gonna go swim in the fucking
- 13:22Speaker 2: oceans of Croatia.
- 13:23Speaker 1: And that's the difference though, Like Olivia's not in the family,
- 13:26Speaker 1: but Veronica, you purport to want to be a part
- 13:28Speaker 1: of the family act or be with Micah. If you
- 13:31Speaker 1: want to be with Micah, then you've got to figure
- 13:33Speaker 1: out how to heal the issue with the family, and
- 13:35Speaker 1: yet the way not to do that is to talk
- 13:37Speaker 1: to somebody who hates the family and is no longer
- 13:39Speaker 1: in it by choice.
- 13:40Speaker 2: It doesn't make any sense exactly. Yeah, and Ethan says
- 13:42Speaker 2: something like, if you want to have friends, you need
- 13:44Speaker 2: to be friendly, and he said that a couple times,
- 13:46Speaker 2: and that's true. It's like, Veronica, when you're coming out
- 13:49Speaker 2: with this hard, nasty energy and you don't want to
- 13:53Speaker 2: talk to anybody because they hurt your feelings or whatever, like,
- 13:56Speaker 2: you're not gonna have any kind of resolution, and that's
- 13:58Speaker 2: why you're gonna have your plath under and you're probably
- 14:01Speaker 2: gonna cry. I can't wait to see Anni do. And
- 14:05Speaker 2: then we move on to Mike and Veronica at their
- 14:08Speaker 2: house in Boca, and we have more of like a
- 14:11Speaker 2: continuation of their fight from last episode. I guess they
- 14:16Speaker 2: like took some time apart, probably slept in different houses
- 14:20Speaker 2: or something to cool off, and so now they're going
- 14:23Speaker 2: to talk again. And Veronica wants us to know that
- 14:26Speaker 2: she wants to talk to him in a healthy way,
- 14:29Speaker 2: and she thinks that they have really good communication. They
- 14:31Speaker 2: just need to understand each other. He needs to hear
- 14:34Speaker 2: me and my big feelings because I'm coming to him
- 14:37Speaker 2: with like honesty and I'm trying to I'm trying to
- 14:41Speaker 2: healthily communicate. It's Micah that's the problem.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Right, and he just doesn't know how to hold all
- 14:46Speaker 1: of my feelings which I constantly regurgitate all over him violently.
- 14:53Speaker 1: And I thought that Micah was really insightful in his
- 14:57Speaker 1: commentary about Veronica, like having these emotional explosions and just
- 15:03Speaker 1: exploding all over him and anybody else until it was
- 15:07Speaker 1: all gone inside of her and then she was able
- 15:09Speaker 1: to kind of reset and go back to a peaceful
- 15:11Speaker 1: space until she was angry again, and then she exploded.
- 15:15Speaker 1: And I felt personally like the body language in this
- 15:19Speaker 1: scene was very meaningful and important, because again we have
- 15:23Speaker 1: Micah shrinking away, leaning his whole body away from Veronica
- 15:29Speaker 1: who's leaning into him. And I'm just like, you look
- 15:33Speaker 1: like an abused man. You look like an abused person
- 15:37Speaker 1: who is trying so hard to walk on eggshells within
- 15:41Speaker 1: this conversation so you don't set this woman off again crazy.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And I feel for him because I think for Micah,
- 15:49Speaker 1: he probably has been gas lit into thinking that he's
- 15:53Speaker 1: the problem, and in many ways, he is, like, if
- 15:56Speaker 1: he cheated, he's a cheater, that's dogshit. You should not
- 15:59Speaker 1: have done that. He gave her an STD because he
- 16:02Speaker 1: was a cheater. That is absolutely awful. Obviously, Isaac, other
- 16:06Speaker 1: than cheating, has not verified a lot of the other
- 16:08Speaker 1: things that Veronica has said. But like, if you did that,
- 16:10Speaker 1: that is bad. That doesn't negate the fact that Veronica,
- 16:13Speaker 1: you chose to stay with him, Yeah, and he chose
- 16:17Speaker 1: to stay with you, and he doesn't know how to
- 16:20Speaker 1: talk to you. He doesn't feel safe even being around you.
- 16:24Speaker 1: In these extremely volatile conversations which you leverage. I feel
- 16:29Speaker 1: like she on purpose leverages these conversations and her emotions
- 16:33Speaker 1: in order to intimidate him because she wants him to
- 16:37Speaker 1: feel as small as possible, because that is how she
- 16:40Speaker 1: felt when he cheated on her. And it's just thoroughly toxic.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Throw the whole relationship away. You guys do not need
- 16:48Speaker 1: to be together. And of course we know they break up,
- 16:50Speaker 1: but like watching it right before the whole thing gets
- 16:54Speaker 1: burnt down is painful. It's painful for Micah. I'm sure
- 16:59Speaker 1: it's painful for Veronica. But because she's acting so horribly,
- 17:02Speaker 1: I have absolutely no sympathy for.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Her well, and like that's the thing. It's like, obviously
- 17:08Speaker 2: no one is justifying his cheating him allegedly giving her
- 17:12Speaker 2: an STD, like nobody's justifying any of these actions on Micah.
- 17:16Speaker 2: But like Veronica, you can be mad about that, but
- 17:19Speaker 2: you don't have a right to like abuse him. You
- 17:22Speaker 2: don't have a right to be so aggressive in your
- 17:26Speaker 2: speech to call him a spineless worm, a weak little man.
- 17:31Speaker 2: You're choosing to forgive him and to work on things
- 17:35Speaker 2: in your relationship, and if you actually wanted to do that,
- 17:39Speaker 2: then you should reflect that in your actions and in
- 17:42Speaker 2: your speech to him. But no, you want to just
- 17:44Speaker 2: make him feel like shit more than he already does.
- 17:47Speaker 1: You want to punish him, and you feel like you're
- 17:49Speaker 1: entitled to have him sit there and take the punishment
- 17:51Speaker 1: because he's the first one who hurt you.
- 17:54Speaker 2: And she like talks about like she tells him and
- 17:57Speaker 2: she tells the cameras and stuff that she has a
- 17:59Speaker 2: hard time regulating her emotions. But at the same time,
- 18:02Speaker 2: she doesn't want to bottle any of them up. She
- 18:04Speaker 2: doesn't want to keep any of them to herself, so
- 18:06Speaker 2: she's just gonna spew it and basically Micah, You're just
- 18:09Speaker 2: gonna have to deal with it. You're gonna have to
- 18:11Speaker 2: deal with me verbally abusing you, because that's just who
- 18:14Speaker 2: I am. I'm allowed, strong, outspoken woman, and I'm allowed
- 18:18Speaker 2: to have these big feelings. Yeah, exactly, that's what it is.
- 18:22Speaker 2: And she talks about like how she's always felt like
- 18:25Speaker 2: her feelings are too much, and Olivia felt the same way.
- 18:28Speaker 2: So she's being treated the exact same as how Olivia
- 18:32Speaker 2: was treated, and it's like, no, sometimes your emotions are
- 18:36Speaker 2: too much. People have irrational emotions. Everybody experiences that, but
- 18:40Speaker 2: we learn how to regulate, how to be emotionally mature,
- 18:45Speaker 2: and learn how to express that in a healthy way.
- 18:47Speaker 1: And here she is again co opting Olivia's lived experience
- 18:52Speaker 1: right in her marriage that lasted much longer than this
- 18:57Speaker 1: punk cast relationship you have with Micah. And then your weapon,
- 19:00Speaker 1: your idea of Olivia's experience to use against Micah, Like
- 19:04Speaker 1: you don't have a right to do that. Speak from
- 19:06Speaker 1: your own space, speak from your own feelings, your own experience,
- 19:10Speaker 1: but don't continue to use her, you know, as some
- 19:13Speaker 1: sort of stand in for the feelings that you have
- 19:16Speaker 1: in order to legitimize them. Yes, yeah, no, we don't
- 19:20Speaker 1: do that. That doesn't work. It's not fair.
- 19:22Speaker 2: And like anytime Micah tries to express to her that
- 19:26Speaker 2: like her emotions are hurtful because she is just spewing
- 19:30Speaker 2: all of this hateful, awful, toxic shit to him constantly,
- 19:34Speaker 2: she will say something like, well, yeah, like when I'm angry,
- 19:37Speaker 2: I say some things that I probably shouldn't, but like
- 19:39Speaker 2: I'm angry, so like I'm allowed to just express my anger.
- 19:42Speaker 1: You're not.
- 19:43Speaker 2: It's like you just justify your bullshit. Like she cannot
- 19:46Speaker 2: see that she is wrong and she's manipulative when she says, yeah,
- 19:51Speaker 2: I say things that I probably shouldn't, but I'm gonna
- 19:53Speaker 2: say it anyway, and you're just gonna have to deal
- 19:55Speaker 2: with it because that's my fiefe's and you're gonna have
- 19:58Speaker 2: to nalidate it.
- 19:59Speaker 1: And this is why we have her completely setting out
- 20:01Speaker 1: online on Reddit and on Instagram, because I think she
- 20:06Speaker 1: got dumped because she's an abuser and Micah finally got
- 20:09Speaker 1: the strength to walk away.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Yep.
- 20:10Speaker 1: And here again, like you had a very valid message
- 20:13Speaker 1: about Micah and the things that he did that were wrong,
- 20:16Speaker 1: but like you've completely invalidated your argument and your position
- 20:20Speaker 1: by behaving like a devil and a nightmare yep.
- 20:23Speaker 2: And then you want to use Instagram therapy speak to
- 20:26Speaker 2: continue to belittle him, to try and justify your actions,
- 20:30Speaker 2: and like I think she says something like I'm in
- 20:33Speaker 2: fireflight around the plaths and he's like why, and she
- 20:37Speaker 2: just doesn't have an answer. It's like, you can't justify
- 20:41Speaker 2: your irrational feelings, which means they're irrational and they're crazy
- 20:44Speaker 2: and they are too much. You are too much, m m,
- 20:47Speaker 2: and maybe you should learn to tone it down a
- 20:48Speaker 2: little bit. I just can't. I just I felt bad
- 20:51Speaker 2: for Micah, and like I shouldn't feel bad for a
- 20:53Speaker 2: guy who's a cheater and like allegedly gave her an STD,
- 20:56Speaker 2: but I feel bad because of how you're acting towards him.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean, let me just be the problematic
- 21:02Speaker 1: person on the podcast when I bring up the fact
- 21:05Speaker 1: that he was living in la she was living in Florida.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I'm not sure what the terms of their relationship was.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I mean, maybe he was leading her on a little bit,
- 21:14Speaker 1: and maybe she was. She had stars in her eyes
- 21:17Speaker 1: because it's Mica and he's beautiful. But like it happened
- 21:20Speaker 1: at the very beginning of the relationship when they weren't
- 21:22Speaker 1: even in the same place together. Then they got in
- 21:24Speaker 1: the same place, and then he traveled for work to
- 21:26Speaker 1: New York and otherwise. Remember when he went to watch
- 21:29Speaker 1: What Happens Live, Yeah, and he saw Andy Cohen and
- 21:33Speaker 1: Andy Cohen was flirting with him on the show, and
- 21:36Speaker 1: then he cheated when he was in New York. And
- 21:38Speaker 1: I'm just kind of wondering to myself, like, was it
- 21:40Speaker 1: with Andy? Oh my god, was it with Andy Cohen? Anyway? So, yeah,
- 21:44Speaker 1: that's all bad, But it sounds like in the beginning
- 21:46Speaker 1: of the relationship things were just a little bit murky maybe,
- 21:50Speaker 1: but then once he moved in or once he made
- 21:51Speaker 1: a formal commitment, things changed. I'm not giving him a pass.
- 21:56Speaker 1: It's still not good. And he was texting people, but
- 21:58Speaker 1: I'm just like, I don't trust her. She's not a
- 22:02Speaker 1: reliable narrator. And then when we get the preview of her,
- 22:05Speaker 1: like not allowing Micah to even be in the presence
- 22:08Speaker 1: of Teagan because of some OnlyFans stuff like, I'm just like, girl,
- 22:12Speaker 1: you can't control everything. I realize you're anxiously attached in
- 22:16Speaker 1: your life, but you can't control other people. The only
- 22:18Speaker 1: thing you control is.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yourself, yep, and you give yourself no credit when you
- 22:23Speaker 2: are lying, like with the teak and stuff with the
- 22:25Speaker 2: only fans, like girl, please shut up. I just can't
- 22:29Speaker 2: with her. And then we shift gears and we go
- 22:32Speaker 2: wedding dress shopping with Lydia.
- 22:33Speaker 1: We don't need to spend a ton of time on this,
- 22:35Speaker 1: do we not?
- 22:36Speaker 2: Really? I mean, the only thing that was interesting was
- 22:39Speaker 2: like when Kim had Lydia try on her wedding dress.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, which Lydia looked beautiful in, I mean, just
- 22:47Speaker 2: gorgeous in every dress that she tries on. But I
- 22:49Speaker 2: couldn't help. But wonder if Kim was like feeling like,
- 22:54Speaker 2: oh my God, like I can't believe my daughter is
- 22:57Speaker 2: like getting married in the same kind of way that
- 22:59Speaker 2: I did, door like Zach who probably won't be good
- 23:03Speaker 2: at it, Like I wonder when she was wearing Kim's
- 23:06Speaker 2: wedding dress, Kim was like seeing her life flash before
- 23:09Speaker 2: her eyes and regretting it because you raised Lydia to
- 23:13Speaker 2: be this way.
- 23:15Speaker 1: I wonder. I mean, I think there are a lot
- 23:17Speaker 1: of things Kim would like to say, but she probably
- 23:20Speaker 1: feels she doesn't have the family credit to say yeah,
- 23:23Speaker 1: because she's discredit her discredited herself with her behavior, with
- 23:28Speaker 1: leaving Barry, with being a drunk, and with having an
- 23:31Speaker 1: adulter this affair, So she can't really counsel Lydia on
- 23:35Speaker 1: like what she needs to do in a relationship because
- 23:38Speaker 1: she again has no credit, so kind I kind of
- 23:41Speaker 1: felt for Kim a little bit, like she's just trying
- 23:43Speaker 1: to be there for Lydia. Lydia's gonna do this whether
- 23:46Speaker 1: you approve of it or not, and so she's trying
- 23:48Speaker 1: to be supportive. But I do think there was a
- 23:51Speaker 1: lot that she wanted to say. And then of course
- 23:54Speaker 1: we had Mariah being like two hours late, I know,
- 23:57Speaker 1: which I thought was really strange. And I think I
- 24:01Speaker 1: mentioned a couple of episodes ago that I kind of
- 24:04Speaker 1: sniff some substance abuse, and of course we've seen Mariah
- 24:07Speaker 1: drinking in this season, and it just feels like there's
- 24:11Speaker 1: something more. I know, somebody in the comments of her
- 24:14Speaker 1: YouTube was talking like opiates or like other substances like that,
- 24:18Speaker 1: and I don't know, but I'm just like, how are
- 24:20Speaker 1: you going to show up two hours late to like
- 24:23Speaker 1: the sister that you're the closest to like she's gonna
- 24:27Speaker 1: get married, like this special day, you're gonna be this late,
- 24:30Speaker 1: and then you're gonna kind of shit on it all
- 24:32Speaker 1: because you don't believe in marriage and you don't believe
- 24:35Speaker 1: in wedding dresses and you don't like them. I'm like,
- 24:37Speaker 1: what has happened to Mariah? Like I feel very concerned
- 24:42Speaker 1: about her trajectory?
- 24:44Speaker 2: Me too in life, me too, And like maybe she's
- 24:48Speaker 2: depressed because maybe mister potato head like did some bad
- 24:51Speaker 2: shit to her. I don't know what their relationship was like,
- 24:54Speaker 2: but like the fact that you have Mariah in her
- 24:57Speaker 2: like goth phase and she is depressed and she's like
- 25:01Speaker 2: I hate love. I don't believe in love. I'm like, dude,
- 25:05Speaker 2: you're like mentally broken right now. I mean, I hope
- 25:09Speaker 2: Montana's gonna be great for her, but like I'm worried, dude,
- 25:12Speaker 2: I'm really worried. And the only other thing that came
- 25:15Speaker 2: out of this scene was Kim also expressing to the
- 25:18Speaker 2: camera that this whole wedding is rushed and nobody feels
- 25:23Speaker 2: like they know Zach or they can get to know
- 25:25Speaker 2: him at all. Kim doesn't feel like she knows him
- 25:28Speaker 2: well enough Barry doesn't know him well enough, but Lydia
- 25:32Speaker 2: probably doesn't know him well enough. And I'm just like, yeah, Kim,
- 25:35Speaker 2: well this is your parenting though, Like, this is a
- 25:39Speaker 2: direct result of the indoctrination that you gave to all
- 25:41Speaker 2: of your kids. Luckily, some of the older ones pave
- 25:45Speaker 2: their own way and realize all that shit was bullshit.
- 25:48Speaker 2: But Lydia was praying in a closet the whole time,
- 25:51Speaker 2: and you thought that was great. And now she's doing
- 25:54Speaker 2: what you programmed her to.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Do, right, And I can just imagine how Kim feels
- 26:00Speaker 1: like knowing the path that Lydia is taking, which is
- 26:04Speaker 1: the same path that she took and how it didn't
- 26:07Speaker 1: work out. And I also think with Mariah, it's not
- 26:10Speaker 1: just Potato Head and the relationships that she had that failed,
- 26:13Speaker 1: but she also saw her parents, Yeah, and their twenty
- 26:16Speaker 1: five year relationship just completely fall apart and the complete
- 26:20Speaker 1: implosion of her family. So yeah, she doesn't believe in
- 26:23Speaker 1: weddings and marriages and symbols of love like that because
- 26:27Speaker 1: she probably doesn't really have faith in love generally.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I wouldn't blame her, yeah at all. And speaking
- 26:34Speaker 2: of Mariah, we have Amber, We have this like little scene,
- 26:37Speaker 2: and it's when Mariah, I guess, is leaving for Montana.
- 26:41Speaker 2: She's leaving a month before Lydia's wedding because she just
- 26:43Speaker 2: wants to get the fuck out of Dodge, and she's
- 26:46Speaker 2: packing all of her shit, and we have Amber and
- 26:48Speaker 2: her have like a little conversation. Amber seems to kind of,
- 26:52Speaker 2: in my opinion, be a little worried about Mariah, but
- 26:55Speaker 2: like she's trying to advocate for her. They talk a
- 26:57Speaker 2: little bit about Veronica and how they're they've both shared
- 27:00Speaker 2: some nasty experiences with her and they both don't like
- 27:03Speaker 2: that bitch. And Mariah's just like, yeah, I just want
- 27:07Speaker 2: to leave.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I just want like a fresh star.
- 27:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna go to Montana with my many many many
- 27:12Speaker 2: job interviews that I have lined up, but I don't
- 27:15Speaker 2: have a job lined up. I just have a place
- 27:17Speaker 2: to stay. And I'm just like, what do you mean
- 27:20Speaker 2: I'm worried about her? Dude?
- 27:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, if that was my daughter, I would
- 27:24Speaker 1: be so scared for her. And so like watching Barry
- 27:28Speaker 1: just send her off with all this celebration and like
- 27:31Speaker 1: not just like giving her some sort of a tracker
- 27:35Speaker 1: or like putting some sort of tag on her car
- 27:39Speaker 1: or like, I don't know, girl, Like you're just going
- 27:41Speaker 1: to a place where you've never been before, to a
- 27:44Speaker 1: culture that you've never experienced before. And I can understand
- 27:47Speaker 1: the sense of adventure. And again I said this a
- 27:50Speaker 1: couple episodes ago, like if I could have done that,
- 27:52Speaker 1: gone to Montana as a young woman, so so fantastic.
- 27:57Speaker 1: But so I appreciate her wanting to do that, but
- 27:59Speaker 1: I'm questioning why it's happening, and I'm just wondering, and
- 28:03Speaker 1: I'm wondering if anybody else is also thinking this, Like
- 28:06Speaker 1: is there a dude?
- 28:06Speaker 2: There?
- 28:07Speaker 1: Is she talking to somebody online? Has she met a
- 28:11Speaker 1: new person? Because I see her pictures in Montana she
- 28:15Speaker 1: looks really happy, but she's not taken those pictures. Who
- 28:18Speaker 1: is Yeah, is it a dude? What's happening in your life?
- 28:22Speaker 1: For real? And I see just Mariah going down this
- 28:26Speaker 1: road of secrecy that we've seen the Browns go down
- 28:29Speaker 1: and some of the Plaths go down, just like not
- 28:31Speaker 1: telling the full truth. But at the same time, maybe
- 28:36Speaker 1: she can't because she's so mentally and emotionally troubled right now,
- 28:42Speaker 1: like she's not connected to the inner workings of her
- 28:45Speaker 1: own self, so she can't really talk about it. But like,
- 28:47Speaker 1: I'm just worried about her. I'm really worried about her.
- 28:49Speaker 2: I'm really worried about her because I think that's when
- 28:51Speaker 2: she loses all of her hair in Montana. Yeah, because
- 28:54Speaker 2: she's still in Montana. I think, Yeah, I believe so
- 28:57Speaker 2: the Internet and stuff. So like you move to Montana
- 29:00Speaker 2: for this new start and then all of your hair
- 29:02Speaker 2: falls out and you have no family or any support system,
- 29:05Speaker 2: and I wonder you may prick up a a point
- 29:08Speaker 2: like what if she is there for a dude? Ugh.
- 29:11Speaker 2: I just feel like she's going down this like terrible
- 29:13Speaker 2: path because again, like her parents didn't prepare her for
- 29:17Speaker 2: the real world and like didn't teach her how to
- 29:19Speaker 2: find like a good person to be around. So she's
- 29:22Speaker 2: going after like unhealthy relationship after unhealthy relationship, and I
- 29:27Speaker 2: worry about her mental state. And again with Barry just
- 29:30Speaker 2: like sending her off being all happy, go lucky. This
- 29:33Speaker 2: is why he's annoying me this season. Yeah, because he's
- 29:35Speaker 2: not like pushing back in a way a dad should.
- 29:39Speaker 2: You're not questioning Zach on anything. You're actually wanting him
- 29:42Speaker 2: to bang your daughter out and pop out baby her. Yeah,
- 29:46Speaker 2: and you don't even know this guy. You're sending Mariah
- 29:49Speaker 2: off to Montana where there's literally no support system for
- 29:53Speaker 2: her at all, but you're like, have fun bye. Yeah,
- 29:56Speaker 2: you're not talking to Micah about him being abused by Ironica.
- 30:00Speaker 2: You're just like, Yeah, that sucks. Then that's it. It's
- 30:04Speaker 2: just like Barry, you suck. Sometimes it's so annoying.
- 30:07Speaker 1: He's just emotionally disconnected. Yea and Amber told Veronica, I
- 30:12Speaker 1: think in the last episode that they were a family
- 30:15Speaker 1: of thinkers, and I really think that that originates with Barry,
- 30:19Speaker 1: Like he doesn't. I'm sure he feels something, but I
- 30:22Speaker 1: just feel like he's not connected to those feelings. And
- 30:24Speaker 1: so this is his approximation of what a feeling person
- 30:28Speaker 1: would do, like, Oh, I'm just going to support my daughter,
- 30:31Speaker 1: like I'm going to show up in a way that
- 30:34Speaker 1: that will appear supportive because he doesn't. He doesn't have
- 30:37Speaker 1: that innate knowledge of what a father should do and
- 30:40Speaker 1: be in a feeling way, and that is what Mariah needs.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I don't know if she would accept it at this point,
- 30:45Speaker 1: but that is literally what she needs, and what she
- 30:48Speaker 1: doesn't have is a good example from a parent.
- 30:51Speaker 2: I agree. And now she just going to Montana and
- 30:53Speaker 2: I wish her the best, Like, I hope she has
- 30:55Speaker 2: the best time there. I hope she finds herself. I
- 30:57Speaker 2: hope she finds peace and finds you a cowboyhood, finds
- 31:01Speaker 2: you a nice cowboy. It treats you, right, That's all
- 31:04Speaker 2: I want. But I'm really worried about her, I really am.
- 31:07Speaker 2: And then the last scene is the cringiest scene of
- 31:10Speaker 2: them all, where Barry, Kim, Zach, and Lydia all share
- 31:15Speaker 2: a bunch of champagne and talk about fucking apparently why.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I just don't understand.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Why are we doing that?
- 31:22Speaker 2: Why? Why this? It's so cringey because Lydia just turned
- 31:28Speaker 2: twenty one, and like I think this is probably like
- 31:31Speaker 2: a couple weeks before their wedding because they get married
- 31:35Speaker 2: in February, like just after her birthday. So they're all
- 31:38Speaker 2: sharing champagne. And this is where Barry and Kim find
- 31:42Speaker 2: it appropriate to like ask them, you know how to
- 31:46Speaker 2: fuck though?
- 31:47Speaker 1: You know what fucking is? You know men and women
- 31:50Speaker 1: fuck men, fuck people?
- 31:52Speaker 2: Fuck? You know what a penis is, Lydia.
- 31:53Speaker 1: You know you've got a vagina, right, you know.
- 31:55Speaker 2: That you're biologically hardwired and programmed and built.
- 31:59Speaker 1: And crack and crafted at this time in your life
- 32:02Speaker 1: quickly crafted? What was that biologically crafted to have children?
- 32:09Speaker 2: Now? Stop?
- 32:11Speaker 1: It was like, are you talking about her fertility?
- 32:14Speaker 2: Though?
- 32:15Speaker 1: He feels like you're talking about her ability to opulate
- 32:18Speaker 1: her fertility and it's giving weird. And you're talking about
- 32:23Speaker 1: her twenties being her like fertile time. I'm just like,
- 32:26Speaker 1: this is a time not what any young woman, much
- 32:29Speaker 1: less her partner, wants to hear from her dad. I know,
- 32:32Speaker 1: talking about like the ideal circumstances to become impregnated. Barry,
- 32:36Speaker 1: what are you doing just because you want a grandkid?
- 32:40Speaker 1: Maybe baby rabies?
- 32:41Speaker 2: I mean, hey, look, you are always telling me where's
- 32:44Speaker 2: my grandchildren? And you're always asking if we're fucking who?
- 32:48Speaker 1: Don't like you're almost thirty, I.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Know, see here you are telling me about you brought
- 32:54Speaker 2: it up.
- 32:54Speaker 1: You brought it up though.
- 32:57Speaker 2: I feel like Barry was kind of giving me like
- 32:59Speaker 2: I think he was trying to be funny, but he
- 33:01Speaker 2: doesn't know how to be because he's a literal robot
- 33:04Speaker 2: and he doesn't understand how humans talk and act. He's
- 33:08Speaker 2: just being so weird. And like in him and Kim's
- 33:11Speaker 2: talking heads, he's like making sexual innuendos and jokes and stuff,
- 33:16Speaker 2: and I just like, I can't. But I was laughing
- 33:20Speaker 2: about it though, because I think Kim says something like,
- 33:24Speaker 2: you know, Lydia has to know that there's ways to
- 33:26Speaker 2: prevent pregnancy, right, like maybe I'll have to have a
- 33:29Speaker 2: talk with her, and Barry's like, yeah, you'll have to
- 33:31Speaker 2: educate her orally, and then everybody laughs.
- 33:34Speaker 1: But I'm like, that's why are you laughing. I'm like,
- 33:37Speaker 1: that's like incestuous.
- 33:39Speaker 2: I I just can't, but they all bust up laughing.
- 33:45Speaker 2: I feel like Kim was the only one that felt
- 33:47Speaker 2: awkward because I feel like Barry never pleasured her With.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Kim, right, I thought, well, you never know what those
- 33:53Speaker 1: kind of guys sometimes they're magical at it. But I
- 33:55Speaker 1: just felt it was kind of funny watching Kim because
- 33:57Speaker 1: she did not know what to say, She did not
- 34:00Speaker 1: know what she could say, she didn't know what her
- 34:02Speaker 1: standing with Barry was in order to say anything, so
- 34:04Speaker 1: she just kind of stood there. I was just like,
- 34:07Speaker 1: I don't know what's happening right now, and Yarry was
- 34:10Speaker 1: just being super goofy and everybody was laughing.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Well, and I'm just like wondering because at this point
- 34:15Speaker 2: in time, like, I think Kim's the only one that's
- 34:17Speaker 2: had sex outside of their marriage because she fucked Ken
- 34:21Speaker 2: Palmer or something. But like, I don't think Barry is
- 34:23Speaker 2: out here fucking and sucking right now. I think he's
- 34:25Speaker 2: just keeping himse up.
- 34:26Speaker 1: But maybe maybe he is.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Maybe he's a lothario.
- 34:29Speaker 1: He's talking about wanting to find somebody who's fit and
- 34:32Speaker 1: active and has a sense of humor, So maybe that
- 34:35Speaker 1: means he's already on the tinder, like swiping left or
- 34:38Speaker 1: right or whatever these kids do. Well, Yeah, he's the
- 34:41Speaker 1: man who's got me and stuff. And I'm just wondering.
- 34:45Speaker 1: As I was watching Barry and Kim, I'm like, is
- 34:48Speaker 1: there a world where you guys are just meeting up occasionally?
- 34:52Speaker 1: I want to bang it out?
- 34:54Speaker 2: I wondered that too. I'm wondering if they're like hooking up.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I feel like Kim wouldn't mind, Oh she would love it.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I think Barry's like pass a Dina, pass a Diana.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Barry looks at her and her sugar body and he's like, nah,
- 35:10Speaker 2: no way. But Kim is probably looking at Barry all
- 35:13Speaker 2: jacked and shit.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Well, she's seeing things differently. Yeah, now that she don't
- 35:17Speaker 1: have no buddy. Now she's renting a home and she
- 35:20Speaker 1: can't afford a lawyer. She's putting it on credit cards.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Now Barry's starting to look better than he used.
- 35:25Speaker 2: To look, and Ken left her ask so what is
- 35:27Speaker 2: she going to do?
- 35:28Speaker 1: Well, she's trying to make it work.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess you're trying to get.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Back in with Barry, do you think. I don't know.
- 35:34Speaker 1: I had a vision of, like next season, Barry going
- 35:38Speaker 1: out on a date and the camera's following him and
- 35:41Speaker 1: it's a date with Kim. I actually had that in
- 35:44Speaker 1: my mind, Like I wonder.
- 35:46Speaker 2: I would pass away because that would be so.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Crazy, it would be crazy. I would love it that
- 35:50Speaker 1: they just like get back together. I mean they start dating.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I mean they're still spending a lot of their time
- 35:55Speaker 2: together because they're trying to co parent and they're like
- 35:57Speaker 2: doing family things together. And I mean, honestly, like, I
- 36:01Speaker 2: feel like there could have been a whirld where Kim
- 36:03Speaker 2: could have avoided this whole midlife crisis. Her and Barry
- 36:06Speaker 2: could have talked some things out. Maybe they could have
- 36:08Speaker 2: gone to sex therapy or something, and they could have
- 36:11Speaker 2: had a sexual renaissance maybe, or like a renaissance in
- 36:15Speaker 2: their marriage, and it could have worked out because they
- 36:17Speaker 2: had all these years together, they had all these children together.
- 36:20Speaker 2: And she ruined it.
- 36:23Speaker 1: She did, and then she stepped out and she saw
- 36:25Speaker 1: that the grass was not always greener. I had the
- 36:28Speaker 1: same experience, what should we go uncensored? Cons back from uncensored.
- 36:35Speaker 1: So maybe Kim thought the grass was going to be
- 36:38Speaker 1: greener out there and that there were going to be
- 36:41Speaker 1: guys that had it better than Burry. But like, maybe
- 36:44Speaker 1: nobody makes money like Barry. Yeah, maybe nobody has the
- 36:49Speaker 1: anatomy that Barry. Maybe nobody eats the box like Barry does.
- 36:55Speaker 1: And so now you had to learn the hard way. Kim.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Now you're trying to insert yourself back into the city,
- 37:00Speaker 1: but you can't fit.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Can't.
- 37:01Speaker 1: No, you can't fit.
- 37:03Speaker 2: She especially can't.
- 37:04Speaker 1: You can't get back go through that, That's right.
- 37:07Speaker 2: She did. Yeah, But I was just like this whole
- 37:09Speaker 2: scene with Kim and Barry was just interesting. Like I
- 37:11Speaker 2: feel like Barry was more comfortable. He was just being
- 37:15Speaker 2: weird and goofy, and maybe he was drunk on champagne.
- 37:17Speaker 2: I don't fucking know he was being odd. Kim felt
- 37:20Speaker 2: awkward to me, and Kim did make a comment I
- 37:23Speaker 2: don't know if you caught it to Lydia where she
- 37:25Speaker 2: was just like, I just want to make sure that
- 37:27Speaker 2: you know how to fuck or whatever, because I don't
- 37:29Speaker 2: want people to think that they're watching that we just
- 37:32Speaker 2: like raised all these kids to live inside this box.
- 37:36Speaker 2: And it just spoke to me that Kim is aware
- 37:38Speaker 2: of the camera, she's aware of the criticism of how
- 37:42Speaker 2: they raised their children, and she's trying to be like, no,
- 37:45Speaker 2: but like we did prepare them though, like don't listen
- 37:48Speaker 2: to Ethan when he said I didn't tell them about
- 37:50Speaker 2: sex or anything. Don't listen to Hoseanah while Hoseanah doesn't
- 37:54Speaker 2: say nothing, but like, they'll listen to my other kids,
- 37:56Speaker 2: like we did good. Lydia, right, you know how sex works.
- 38:01Speaker 1: But it struck me that Lydia really didn't. No, like
- 38:05Speaker 1: Lydia does not know what to expect on her wedding night.
- 38:08Speaker 1: She understands I've got a vagina and he's got a pen.
- 38:13Speaker 1: The pen goes into the vagina. But that's the extent
- 38:16Speaker 1: of her sexual education. And I'm worried about her.
- 38:20Speaker 2: I'm worried about her too, and Kim does say like
- 38:23Speaker 2: something like I feel like a mom would say, just
- 38:25Speaker 2: like you can talk to me though, like we can
- 38:27Speaker 2: have girl time and if you like have any questions
- 38:30Speaker 2: or issues or whatever, you can you can talk to me.
- 38:33Speaker 2: And I feel like Lydia was like, no, mom, you're
- 38:35Speaker 2: a drunk, cheating adulterer, Like why would I talk to you.
- 38:39Speaker 2: I feel like Lydia just doesn't give a shit about
- 38:42Speaker 2: what her mom has to say. And it's unfortunate because
- 38:44Speaker 2: it's Kim's fault. But like, I worry about Lydia and
- 38:48Speaker 2: her marriage to this nice man, Zach.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Well, And ironically, Kim could probably impart a lot of
- 38:57Speaker 1: information yeah to Lydia, based on all the mistakes that
- 39:02Speaker 1: she made in her life exactly. But it's that divide
- 39:05Speaker 1: between parent and child, and especially if you've blown it
- 39:07Speaker 1: as a parent, exactly, you've lost.
- 39:09Speaker 2: All credibility with the child. And now Lydia is going
- 39:12Speaker 2: to have to figure it out on her own. And like,
- 39:14Speaker 2: luckily with Lydia, she has the Internet, so maybe she
- 39:17Speaker 2: can google some stuff, maybe she can read some smut
- 39:19Speaker 2: and realize, like, oh, this is what I'm missing maybe,
- 39:22Speaker 2: but like when Barry starts pressuring them about kids and stuff,
- 39:25Speaker 2: He's like, bring on the grand children. I want babies, Like,
- 39:29Speaker 2: let's go, you're biologically ready. We have like this segment
- 39:32Speaker 2: with Lydia and Zach, like I think, and they're talking
- 39:34Speaker 2: head being like no, we're gonna wait, and Lyddya's like, well,
- 39:38Speaker 2: but like I want to have kids though, and Zach's
- 39:40Speaker 2: just like awkward, like he doesn't say anything, and I'm
- 39:44Speaker 2: just like, I wonder what their sex life is, like,
- 39:48Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm worried about it. I'm just gonna
- 39:51Speaker 2: say that I'm just worried about it.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Agreed.
- 39:53Speaker 2: And then we get to the preview and we have
- 39:55Speaker 2: Lydia and Zach visiting Micah and Veronica why down in Boca,
- 40:01Speaker 2: and Veronica makes a comment about like how she doesn't
- 40:05Speaker 2: even want to go to the wedding and she hopes
- 40:07Speaker 2: that they don't light any fires at the wedding.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I'm like, Okay, this is foreshadowing NonStop drama. It's like constant,
- 40:14Speaker 1: and it's Lydia's upcoming nuptials. Can't you just be supported?
- 40:20Speaker 2: She can't because she's bitter. And then we have Teagan, Caylin, Ethan,
- 40:24Speaker 2: and Isaac doing like a double date or whatever. And
- 40:27Speaker 2: this is where like Ethan, I think, draws a little
- 40:30Speaker 2: naked photo of Teagan. And then we have like another
- 40:36Speaker 2: scene where Micah apparently called Ethan to tell him that
- 40:41Speaker 2: Veronica was starting some rumors about Teagan having an only fans,
- 40:47Speaker 2: which pissed Ethan off. Ethan hangs up the phone with
- 40:50Speaker 2: Micah and then calls Teagan immediately. And I think this
- 40:53Speaker 2: is what causes a rift between Teagan and Veronica, because
- 40:57Speaker 2: I don't think Teagan's out here show a hole on
- 41:00Speaker 2: because I don't think she's.
- 41:02Speaker 1: I had no idea. But then we have this scene
- 41:06Speaker 1: in the preview with Veronica and Micah at a counselor
- 41:11Speaker 1: or a therapy appointment, and Veronica is talking about how
- 41:15Speaker 1: Micah went up online and started looking for nude photos
- 41:19Speaker 1: of Teagan. Yeah, so it almost kind of gives that
- 41:22Speaker 1: there are existing nude photos of Teagan, which would be
- 41:26Speaker 1: wild if she had an OnlyFans. But like, also, sex
- 41:29Speaker 1: work is real work. She don't saying anything, but like,
- 41:32Speaker 1: so now Veronica's telling Michael, well, you can never be
- 41:35Speaker 1: in Tagan's presence again because you were looking at those
- 41:38Speaker 1: nude photos and.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and she's like you're gonna fuck her, like you
- 41:42Speaker 2: can't be around her because you can't control God. Yeah,
- 41:44Speaker 2: And I think, like Micah, we will probably see the
- 41:47Speaker 2: next episode like their scene and everything. But I think
- 41:49Speaker 2: Micah is trying to say, like, no, you don't understand
- 41:52Speaker 2: the context, because maybe he was just like looking it
- 41:54Speaker 2: up to see if Veronica's claims were true about the
- 41:57Speaker 2: only fans, and then Veronica's like construing it. I don't know, right,
- 42:01Speaker 2: somebody's gotten OnlyFans. Maybe I'm curious. Now I'm gonna go
- 42:04Speaker 2: look it up.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and please do and report back to the Raccoons,
- 42:08Speaker 1: because this season is I'm so loving it.
- 42:13Speaker 2: It is so late.
- 42:14Speaker 1: If you're not watching because you were disappointed over the
- 42:17Speaker 1: last two or three seasons. First, I understand so as
- 42:20Speaker 1: that we almost didn't watch this. We I am so
- 42:23Speaker 1: glad we're watching it because it is really good. Bravo
- 42:26Speaker 1: to the producers, Bravo to Teal.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Keep it up.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Well, is there anything else that we should say to
