- 0:00Speaker 1: Three days you need.
- 0:01Speaker 2: To know, and good morning, just after six o'clock on
- 0:04Speaker 2: this Thursday morning. I appreciate you being here. Ricky Sanchez
- 0:07Speaker 2: has those three things real estate.
- 0:10Speaker 3: That was fancy there, keV. A Madden twenty seven simulation
- 0:15Speaker 3: has predicted that the Cowboys are going to win the
- 0:17Speaker 3: Super Bowl. So for the ninth year in a row,
- 0:19Speaker 3: Yahoo Sports simulated an entire NFL season using the Madden
- 0:22Speaker 3: video game. The simulation picked the Dallas Cowboys to win
- 0:25Speaker 3: the Super Bowl, beating the Denver Broncos thirty one to fourteen.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Denver quarterback bon Nicks was named MVP in the simulation
- 0:32Speaker 3: after throwing for over five thousand yards and forty one touchdowns.
- 0:37Speaker 3: The game also predicted Raiders rookie Fernando Mendoza would win
- 0:41Speaker 3: Offensive Rookie of the.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Year, TJ.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Watt would take Defensive Player of the Year, and the
- 0:46Speaker 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers would post the league's best record. Madden
- 0:51Speaker 3: also projected another horrific season for the New York Jets,
- 0:54Speaker 3: finishing two and fifteen.
- 0:55Speaker 4: That's your team, congratulations, Thank you so much.
- 0:58Speaker 3: But as always, they're cautioning that the simi is often
- 1:01Speaker 3: way off. Although I don't know if it's off for
- 1:03Speaker 3: the Jets unfortunately, or we'll see how that goes. Nashville
- 1:08Speaker 3: Weekday Club is doing a kayak excursion on August eighteenth.
- 1:12Speaker 3: They partnered with Gallatin Kayak Rentals for a group kayak session.
- 1:16Speaker 3: This is just a great way to get out there
- 1:17Speaker 3: and meet new friends with similar interests, which is why
- 1:20Speaker 3: I wanted to tell you about it. No experience is
- 1:22Speaker 3: needed and they'll just kind of show you the basics
- 1:25Speaker 3: when you get there. It's happening on August eighteenth, like
- 1:27Speaker 3: I said, starting at five thirty pm, and they have
- 1:30Speaker 3: tickets available through their Instagram at the Nashville Weekday Club.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I just love that they do things like this, especially
- 1:38Speaker 3: for adults. It's hard to make friends as adults, and
- 1:40Speaker 3: if you've recently moved to Nashville, or maybe you know
- 1:43Speaker 3: you're looking to find a new group of friends, it's
- 1:45Speaker 3: a great way to do that. And changing the way
- 1:49Speaker 3: you sit could help you make better decisions. Once I
- 1:52Speaker 3: said that, Kevin stood up straight, almost like as if
- 1:57Speaker 3: I had told you, you're talking directly to me.
- 2:01Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 2:01Speaker 3: People who naturally sat upright reported more positive emotions and
- 2:06Speaker 3: made more effective choices. During a virtual risk taking game
- 2:10Speaker 3: compared to those who hunched over so, the new study
- 2:12Speaker 3: says that the upright group took bigger but apparently smarter risks,
- 2:17Speaker 3: earned larger rewards, and also reported stronger feelings of pride
- 2:21Speaker 3: in the end. Okay, so sit up straight every so often,
- 2:24Speaker 3: you know, I throw that out there, like the posture shure. Yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 3: push your shoulders back, sit up straight. You just feel
- 2:29Speaker 3: better when you do that. We all tend to hunch,
- 2:32Speaker 3: especially in this day and age when we're on computers
- 2:34Speaker 3: and phones all day long. Hunching is very normal. So
- 2:37Speaker 3: every so often, just posture check. Make sure that you're
- 2:39Speaker 3: sitting up straight. You're gonna make better decisions because of it.
- 2:42Speaker 4: It's a good tip.
- 2:43Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 2:45Speaker 3: need to know.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Ricky. Let's play panic at the disco.
- 2:49Speaker 2: If you want to make a good decision to hang
- 2:51Speaker 2: out for like six minutes, We'll ask you to call
- 2:53Speaker 2: doing his tickets to Music City Brewer's Best. We've had
- 2:55Speaker 2: them all week for the first caller of the day.
- 2:57Speaker 4: You can win them.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Six minutes away on the river, Ricky Zachon in the
- 3:01Speaker 2: morning Rodrigo on the river, saying good morning to Christina.
- 3:05Speaker 2: She's in Gallatin.
- 3:06Speaker 4: What are you doing right now? Christina?
- 3:08Speaker 3: Excited to go get my morning coffee. Okay, what's your order?
- 3:12Speaker 3: We gotta know it's a salted Oh that sounds really nice.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Right now, I need caffeine. I haven't had any caffeine yet.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Where do you go? Where's your uh? What's your go to?
- 3:26Speaker 3: You know, I've never tried Dutch Bros.
- 3:29Speaker 6: You should totally go.
- 3:31Speaker 4: I want to ask you a question about Dutch Bros.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Do they have a thing where their employees are like
- 3:35Speaker 2: over the top happy and nice?
- 3:38Speaker 4: Okay, because they want to talk.
- 3:41Speaker 6: To you early for all that.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't know if it was like the first
- 3:44Speaker 2: time I went, I was like, oh my god, that
- 3:45Speaker 2: guy was nice. And then I went back I was like,
- 3:47Speaker 2: she was nice too, And then I started to pick
- 3:50Speaker 2: up on the pattern.
- 3:51Speaker 7: I definitely think they're nice.
- 3:53Speaker 3: So then, you know, one of their competitors, I won't
- 3:55Speaker 3: blast them. Oh you're so nice, Christina. You don't want
- 3:59Speaker 3: to blast any I would have flat out just set
- 4:01Speaker 3: it right away. Right well, Christina, you haven't gotten your
- 4:06Speaker 3: coffee yet, but you're already thinking about booze and I
- 4:10Speaker 3: like that about you because we got ticket We got
- 4:14Speaker 3: tickets to Music City Brewers Best on August twenty second
- 4:17Speaker 3: at the Music City Walk of Fame for our first
- 4:19Speaker 3: caller of the day, and that's you, Christina.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Yeah, figure out come, it's coming up.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I have two coffees that morning, so you can really
- 4:27Speaker 2: go all night. We're to put you on hold and
- 4:29Speaker 2: get all your information. Thank you so much for waking
- 4:31Speaker 2: up and starting your day with us.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Perfect.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Thank you got it.
- 4:34Speaker 2: We've had this all week. We have one final chance
- 4:36Speaker 2: to get you in tomorrow morning, same time.
- 4:38Speaker 8: Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning One.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Zach has two dogs, one of which is his and
- 4:46Speaker 3: one of which is his boyfriends, which can make things
- 4:48Speaker 3: a little rough around the house.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Yeah, and I feel like my boyfriend finally likes me.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I don't think I ever realized that those dogs, like
- 4:56Speaker 2: one was yours, one was David's.
- 4:57Speaker 4: I never knew yet, don't.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, very rapecifically tell us right after zarral Arson,
- 5:03Speaker 2: why his dog finally likes you?
- 5:05Speaker 1: Okay, Ricky is Zach and man in the morning.
- 5:09Speaker 4: It's the river. Good morning. Zach said that his boyfriend's
- 5:12Speaker 4: dog finally likes him.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I'm still a little bit hung up on the fact
- 5:14Speaker 2: that you and David live together but have separate dogs.
- 5:17Speaker 4: That doesn't track in my head. But we'll put that
- 5:19Speaker 4: to the side for now.
- 5:20Speaker 5: What do you mean it doesn't track in your head?
- 5:23Speaker 2: I feel like a dog in a home is the
- 5:25Speaker 2: family dog.
- 5:26Speaker 4: It's not his dog and your dog. They are your dogs.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Okay, But when you have two different dogs, like they
- 5:32Speaker 6: attached to different.
- 5:33Speaker 4: People, Okay, I get that. I get that.
- 5:36Speaker 2: So George's David's and yours is emily correct.
- 5:40Speaker 3: So now George likes you. What happened?
- 5:42Speaker 6: Okay, I'm so excited because whenever we came home. So
- 5:46Speaker 6: Ricky and I went to Cleveland this weekend, and whenever
- 5:48Speaker 6: I came home, George was so excited to see.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Me, like tail wagging, jumping on me, so excited.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yes, we missed you, he did.
- 5:57Speaker 2: He was like licking me, and this is a first,
- 6:00Speaker 2: this is new behavior.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 5: I was so excited.
- 6:03Speaker 6: And so now my boyfriend is out of the town also,
- 6:06Speaker 6: he's on a work trip, and George is like cuddling
- 6:10Speaker 6: me on the couch and in the bed, and I'm like,
- 6:13Speaker 6: oh my god, I think he actually likes me, big deal.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Well, I mean the true chest is going to be
- 6:20Speaker 3: when David comes back home.
- 6:22Speaker 5: No, don't let him come home.
- 6:23Speaker 3: That's the true chest. But that he still pays attention
- 6:26Speaker 3: to you, then I think he really does.
- 6:29Speaker 5: No, don't let him come home.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And how how long has George been in the picture?
- 6:33Speaker 5: Seven years?
- 6:35Speaker 4: It took him this long to warm up to you?
- 6:37Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 6:38Speaker 6: Oh my god, and I have both golden retrievers. Yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 6: and so they love everybody. And this is the first
- 6:46Speaker 6: time that he's ever been like so affectionate and so lovely.
- 6:50Speaker 4: I think he's having your dog now, bro. Yeah, I think.
- 6:54Speaker 3: David will fight him for him. I don't know that.
- 6:57Speaker 4: I think it is the family dog. It is both
- 7:00Speaker 4: of your dogs.
- 7:00Speaker 3: You know, George belongs to about to be agree to disagree, keV.
- 7:03Speaker 6: How does Emily feel about David? Oh, Emily loves everything. Okay,
- 7:08Speaker 6: that is true.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Emily can fall in love with a piece of grass outside,
- 7:12Speaker 3: literally loves everything.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Ricky walks in the door, what does she do?
- 7:16Speaker 3: She loses her mind, like almost topples me over, loses
- 7:20Speaker 3: her absolute mind. I have to do a specific stance
- 7:24Speaker 3: in the doorway because I'm gonna fall over.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's so funny. Well, congratulations on getting yourself a
- 7:31Speaker 2: new dog.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Zag for you. Three things you need to know, right,
- 7:35Speaker 4: Welcome to Thursday Morning friends.
- 7:38Speaker 2: I guess a nice little note there. Note just seven o'clock,
- 7:43Speaker 2: Ricky sand those three things.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Kiki Palmers pushing back on the Sean Evans romance rumors
- 7:49Speaker 3: while chatting with the podcast Shut Up Evan. She acknowledged
- 7:54Speaker 3: that fans have been shipping her and Sean Evans, who's
- 7:56Speaker 3: the host of the YouTube show Hot Ones. Everyone's been
- 7:59Speaker 3: going crazy for this because their chemistry on camera is phenomenal,
- 8:03Speaker 3: but she said that the two of them don't really
- 8:05Speaker 3: know each other outside of work, so this has all
- 8:08Speaker 3: the shippers devastated. Obviously, everybody wanted their girl Kiki to
- 8:12Speaker 3: find romance and love because right now everybody loves Keki Palmer.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I mean everybody always did. But she is everywhere right now,
- 8:20Speaker 3: so you don't know who she is. You probably now
- 8:22Speaker 3: do because of the fact she's everywhere. So now everybody's devastated.
- 8:26Speaker 3: They've found that Sean is also on dating apps, and
- 8:30Speaker 3: Kiki had posted a cryptic Instagram post saying, quote, I'm chill,
- 8:34Speaker 3: but you shouldn't be. I want the glamour, the romance
- 8:37Speaker 3: and the fun done playing koy for who and for what.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I'm grown with the sun. No time to watch you fail.
- 8:43Speaker 3: So they kind of thing it might be about him,
- 8:45Speaker 3: and that's why she's kind of pushing back on these
- 8:47Speaker 3: romance rumors. Uh bummer. But you know, everybody finds love
- 8:51Speaker 3: and that's all we want for everybody. So if it's
- 8:53Speaker 3: not the two of them, it'll be somebody else. TSA
- 8:56Speaker 3: is not accepting some Tennessee driver's license right now. Tennessee
- 9:00Speaker 3: Department of Safety has noted that there are some Tennessee
- 9:03Speaker 3: driver's license that are not scanning at TSA, which is
- 9:07Speaker 3: causing people to miss their flights. They're looking into the cause.
- 9:10Speaker 3: They don't really know why this is happening just yet,
- 9:13Speaker 3: but they said for now, anybody who is experiencing this
- 9:15Speaker 3: issue can go and get their license replaced for free.
- 9:20Speaker 3: And it's in your best interest to just bring another
- 9:22Speaker 3: federal form of ID to travel, like your passport, So
- 9:26Speaker 3: everybody should be bringing their passport to the airport as
- 9:30Speaker 3: of right now. Is you don't know if it's going
- 9:32Speaker 3: to scan or not, and then you don't have to
- 9:34Speaker 3: worry about missing your flight. Learn from what is happening
- 9:37Speaker 3: to everybody else.
- 9:37Speaker 4: That's a great tip. Spread the word.
- 9:39Speaker 3: And seven Up is switching their recipe for the first
- 9:42Speaker 3: time in fifteen years. They're shifting from a traditional lemon
- 9:46Speaker 3: lime flavor to a lime lemon flavor. It's gonna be
- 9:50Speaker 3: more lime forward, okay. The company says that this new
- 9:53Speaker 3: formula is brighter and crisper. The taste testers are saying
- 9:57Speaker 3: that it's not noticeable, it's kind of at all, but
- 10:00Speaker 3: that it tastes better and has a more refreshing finish.
- 10:04Speaker 3: The updated recipe, along with new packaging, is going to
- 10:06Speaker 3: roll out nachewide this month. So if you're a seven
- 10:09Speaker 3: up fan and you don't want them to change this
- 10:11Speaker 3: recipe and you love it so much, go buy up
- 10:14Speaker 3: as much seven Up as you possibly can right now
- 10:16Speaker 3: before you get stuck with a more lime forward instead
- 10:19Speaker 3: of lemon forward flavor. Rick Sanchez and those are the
- 10:23Speaker 3: three things you need to know.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Ricky.
- 10:26Speaker 2: After Ella Langley, we are going to learn together on
- 10:28Speaker 2: this Thursday morning. School is back in session. School is
- 10:31Speaker 2: always in session around here. Zax Fax, He's got one
- 10:34Speaker 2: for us.
- 10:34Speaker 6: Next class is in session SAX Facts brought to you
- 10:39Speaker 6: by Mark Spain real Estate on one O the River.
- 10:43Speaker 6: Did you guys know that Mountain dew, moon pies, and
- 10:46Speaker 6: crystal Hamburgers were all first created in Tennessee?
- 10:50Speaker 1: Oh?
- 10:51Speaker 3: Okay, all three of that by the same person.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Are different people, different people?
- 10:55Speaker 3: Okay, I just wanted to clarify.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Could you imagine if it was all the same person?
- 10:59Speaker 3: I never know. Maybe we just have like a food
- 11:01Speaker 3: genius that lived here in Tennessee.
- 11:04Speaker 6: And Airseer fact to the.
- 11:07Speaker 8: Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning, here's our question.
- 11:13Speaker 4: What Disney movie would you like to live in? It's
- 11:15Speaker 4: one oh seven five the River.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Disney is creating a Disney themed neighborhood. So if you
- 11:21Speaker 3: have a specific movie that you're obsessed with and would
- 11:23Speaker 3: love to be inside of in a neighborhood setting, we
- 11:26Speaker 3: want to know which one it would be.
- 11:27Speaker 6: Girl, I want to bop to the top with high
- 11:30Speaker 6: school music.
- 11:30Speaker 8: Hole.
- 11:31Speaker 3: That would be a lot. Yeah, everybody in the streets
- 11:36Speaker 3: singing and dancing.
- 11:37Speaker 4: I would love doing.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Musical numbers to life a lot.
- 11:41Speaker 4: There's so many options.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I didn't even think along those lines, like high school
- 11:43Speaker 2: musical I was thinking, like the big Blockbusters and stuff.
- 11:45Speaker 4: But that's a good call.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Maybe, uh, Peter Pan live on the Ship with the Lost,
- 11:50Speaker 2: But no, are you going to be Peter Ban? I
- 11:52Speaker 2: could be Peter ban six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 11:55Speaker 2: one oh seven. What Disney movie, there's a lot of them.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Would you want to live in?
- 11:59Speaker 8: Let us know, Ricky zachon mano in the morning.
- 12:01Speaker 3: What Disney movie would you love to live inside of?
- 12:05Speaker 3: It's Ricky Zachamno in the morning on one oh seven
- 12:07Speaker 3: five the River. Disney's creating a Disney themed neighborhood, which
- 12:10Speaker 3: really got us going on, like the movies we'd love
- 12:13Speaker 3: to like live in Daria and Nashville. Which movie is
- 12:16Speaker 3: it for you?
- 12:17Speaker 1: Oh?
- 12:17Speaker 6: I'm here with my seven year old daughter, actually Mercy
- 12:20Speaker 6: and we were collaborating and we both.
- 12:22Speaker 7: Agree that we would love to live.
- 12:24Speaker 3: In Princess and the Fraud with Princess Tiana. Oh, I
- 12:27Speaker 3: love that choice.
- 12:29Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 12:30Speaker 3: That is such a good chodure. The food, the masserade balls, like,
- 12:35Speaker 3: we love all things New Orleans, so we feel like
- 12:37Speaker 3: it would be perfect. Oh my god, imagine living inside
- 12:40Speaker 3: of a ball every day. That would be so amazing. Phenomenal.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Great choice, guys.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Thanks TERI.
- 12:48Speaker 7: Guys, take care YouTube.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I love.
- 12:51Speaker 2: My first thought was she said that was food. I
- 12:52Speaker 2: feel like they made the food really look good in
- 12:54Speaker 2: that memo.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, all the food looks great. But I just
- 12:56Speaker 3: love the ball every day. No dressed up? Yeah, but
- 13:01Speaker 3: you're dressed up eating the food. You get best of
- 13:03Speaker 3: both worlds.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Let's grab Noah right now. Noah's on the line. Noah,
- 13:07Speaker 2: what Disney movie would you like to live in?
- 13:09Speaker 3: I don't like to live in an elemental neighborhood.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Elemental is a great choice, very cool, that's clever. What
- 13:16Speaker 2: element would you want to be? Would you want to
- 13:18Speaker 2: be water or fire? Or you just Noah walking around?
- 13:21Speaker 2: You're a human walking around with all these elements.
- 13:25Speaker 3: A cloud? Okay, see, I was gonna go with fire.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I think being fire would be really cool. A cloud
- 13:31Speaker 3: might be even cooler because you're just vibing. You're just
- 13:34Speaker 3: hanging out like you are fire. Yeah, you're right, You're right. Noah,
- 13:39Speaker 3: you sound like a cloud though, too. I get that
- 13:41Speaker 3: from you. Heah, the cloud MoMA grees, have a great
- 13:47Speaker 3: day at school.
- 13:47Speaker 4: No you, guys, thank you so much for calling.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Thank you by you know what. I Finally, I've gone
- 13:53Speaker 2: over a lot of things in my head, but I
- 13:54Speaker 2: think I've landed on Wally because like, I'm lazy and
- 13:59Speaker 2: I want one of those Like you know how people
- 14:00Speaker 2: just like sit on their little motorized scoon and they're
- 14:02Speaker 2: plugged in.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Wally makes me cry every time I watch it.
- 14:04Speaker 6: When you watch the least lazy person that I've ever met,
- 14:08Speaker 6: I want to be late.
- 14:09Speaker 5: I have to move.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I aspire to be lazy though, Like if I in
- 14:12Speaker 2: a dream scenario, if I could just plug into the
- 14:14Speaker 2: matrix and just veg out, I would.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Okay, See, I'm in between Alice in Wonderland. So it's
- 14:19Speaker 3: just a trippy vibe every day. You never know what's
- 14:21Speaker 3: going to happen or Leelo and Stitch because that was
- 14:25Speaker 3: one of my favors. I mean, yeah, live in Hawaii,
- 14:29Speaker 3: you get to serve Stitch. My dog that I had
- 14:32Speaker 3: looked a lot like Stitch, so I very much felt
- 14:34Speaker 3: related to that vibe.
- 14:36Speaker 8: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Zach and Menno. In the morning, I.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Hope everybody is ready to get really nervous and very nauseous.
- 14:46Speaker 3: We're gonna play five and five for Kevin Mano's Game
- 14:48Speaker 3: of the Day on one O seven five the River.
- 14:51Speaker 3: This is for Pentatonic tickets at bridget An Arena December ninth.
- 14:54Speaker 3: The reason you might get a little nauseous is because
- 14:57Speaker 3: it's very nerve wracking.
- 14:58Speaker 4: It is a little nerve wrecking.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Five seconds to name five things in a given category
- 15:03Speaker 2: and penta pentatonics penta means five. That is what inspired
- 15:07Speaker 2: the game. Kelsey and galaton is on the line, and
- 15:09Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 15:09Speaker 4: Kelsey?
- 15:10Speaker 5: I'm great?
- 15:11Speaker 2: Uh do you feel sharpen with it this morning? Because
- 15:14Speaker 2: you really got to have your brain firing?
- 15:16Speaker 3: Mighty, I don't have one cup of coffee.
- 15:18Speaker 2: That's better than zero cups of coffee. You got to
- 15:20Speaker 2: get two out of three of these. Right, we give you,
- 15:22Speaker 2: you know, your first category.
- 15:24Speaker 4: If you got it, you still have to tackle one more.
- 15:25Speaker 4: You're ready.
- 15:26Speaker 5: I'm ready, all right, Kelsey.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Your game starts right now. Kelsey and Gallatin. You have five.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Seconds to tell us five words that start with PR Go.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Right five.
- 15:46Speaker 4: I'm gonna stop you right there for five seconds?
- 15:48Speaker 3: Is up?
- 15:48Speaker 2: You didn't get that one? It's okay, No, that's okay.
- 15:52Speaker 2: You were you guys. Now you know how the game works,
- 15:54Speaker 2: and now you're ready. Okay, all right, still you're still alive. Here,
- 15:57Speaker 2: you got two more chances. Ricky's getting nervous.
- 15:59Speaker 3: I'm knock.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I'm already not.
- 16:03Speaker 3: A really really intense game.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Resetting the clock here, and you know what, that person
- 16:08Speaker 2: next to you that was whispering, he can.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Shout out to you. Guys can play together.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Okay, okay, let's go, Carson, Kelsey.
- 16:13Speaker 2: And Carson name five. You have five seconds. Five breakfast foods, go.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Eggs, pancakes, bacon, smoothies. Okay, we'll take that.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, you can't feel a little bit better now?
- 16:29Speaker 2: Oh thank god, good job, Carson. Wait to come alive, buddy,
- 16:32Speaker 2: right when it counted. Okay, here we go. I'm gonna
- 16:37Speaker 2: stick in the food category. Give us five pizza toppings.
- 16:41Speaker 6: Go pepperoni, cheese, onions, sardines, olive peppers.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Also the fact that you said sargines.
- 16:53Speaker 3: That's disgusting and I don't know why I came.
- 16:56Speaker 5: Why did you say that? That's awesome?
- 16:59Speaker 3: It works.
- 17:00Speaker 4: You guys what you're going.
- 17:01Speaker 2: To see Pentatonics at Bridgestone in December.
- 17:05Speaker 3: You congrats, guys, truly impressed. Thank you for not making
- 17:08Speaker 3: me throw up.
- 17:09Speaker 5: No, thank you, I'm gonna throw up now because of
- 17:12Speaker 5: the sardines.
- 17:15Speaker 4: What's even better, my son is a pizza maker at
- 17:18Speaker 4: a restaurant. Oh that do sardine.
- 17:22Speaker 3: But that was perfect category category to get.
- 17:26Speaker 2: All right, you guys, hang on, thank you so much
- 17:28Speaker 2: for starting your day with us.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Have fun at the show.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Hold on, okay, thank you, and hey, we kind of
- 17:32Speaker 2: figured out like a hack for this game call with
- 17:34Speaker 2: somebody else.
- 17:35Speaker 4: You know what I mean.
- 17:36Speaker 3: You both need great or it could be your demise. Yeah,
- 17:40Speaker 3: you know your relationship before you do that.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Three things you need to past eight o'clock. Thanks for
- 17:47Speaker 2: joining us. Ricky Sanchez has those three things. Presented by
- 17:50Speaker 2: Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Our partners at Global Citizen have officially revealed the lineup
- 17:55Speaker 3: for the twenty twenty six Global Citizen Festival. This year's
- 17:58Speaker 3: event will feature headliners Miss Lauren Hill and Why Cleve, Jean,
- 18:02Speaker 3: John Legend, Lany Wilson, Lenny Kravitz, Shaboozi, and Tomorrow By Together.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Hugh Jackman is going to host, featuring Rachel Brosnahan and
- 18:12Speaker 3: Gail King. The festival will return to Central Park September
- 18:16Speaker 3: twenty six. This is cool. Okay, so the whole festival
- 18:19Speaker 3: is free. Tickets are free. You have to download the
- 18:21Speaker 3: Global Citizen app to earn points by taking action and
- 18:24Speaker 3: then enter for your chance to win free festival tickets,
- 18:27Speaker 3: which is really awesome. Nashville Public Libraries Courtyard Concert Series
- 18:31Speaker 3: is coming back next month, starting September first. You can
- 18:34Speaker 3: check out this concert series every Tuesday through October thirteenth
- 18:37Speaker 3: from eleven forty five am to one pm. But instead
- 18:41Speaker 3: of the courtyard, they're gonna do performances inside the Popular
- 18:44Speaker 3: Materials Area on the main libraries first floor. They're gonna
- 18:48Speaker 3: have local artists performing R and B, jazz, folk, and
- 18:51Speaker 3: alternative rock. The full lineup is on their website. All
- 18:54Speaker 3: of these artists look phenomenal. So if you have the
- 18:56Speaker 3: chance to check it out, you want to take a
- 18:58Speaker 3: little break from work and you know, under down to
- 19:00Speaker 3: the library and eat your lunch or something like that
- 19:02Speaker 3: while you listen to some free local artists. I think
- 19:05Speaker 3: that's amazing. Go support the library and the local artists
- 19:09Speaker 3: and Bumble. They have gotten rid of the women first rule,
- 19:13Speaker 3: which is the whole defining feature of Bumble, the rule
- 19:16Speaker 3: that made made it so that women had to send
- 19:18Speaker 3: the message first. In heterosexual matches no longer applies, so
- 19:23Speaker 3: men can now reach out first. The app is also
- 19:25Speaker 3: extending the response window for first messages from twenty four
- 19:29Speaker 3: hours to seventy two hours, which gives you more time
- 19:31Speaker 3: to reply. They said that changes reflect feedback from users,
- 19:34Speaker 3: including nearly two thirds of surveyed women who say that
- 19:38Speaker 3: they prefer men to make the first move. So this
- 19:41Speaker 3: whole shift is coming because you know, apps are getting
- 19:43Speaker 3: slower growth, declining users and things like that, so they're like,
- 19:47Speaker 3: you know what, let's try and switch it up a
- 19:49Speaker 3: little bit. So if you're on Bubble now the men
- 19:51Speaker 3: can reach out first. I'm Rique Sanchez, and those are
- 19:54Speaker 3: the three things you need to know.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I didn't realize the dating apps were having slower growth
- 19:57Speaker 2: these days.
- 19:58Speaker 4: I didn't know they were going down.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Well, yeah, people aren't looking for relationships as intensely as
- 20:02Speaker 3: they used to.
- 20:03Speaker 8: Ricky, Zach and Meadow in the morning.
- 20:05Speaker 2: And parents are paying up to twenty thousand dollars to
- 20:08Speaker 2: decorate their kids' dorm rooms these days.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Is this like they're buying the furniture or.
- 20:12Speaker 2: They're hiring a service to decorate, and like, what are
- 20:15Speaker 2: they putting in the room.
- 20:16Speaker 3: It's Turkey Zachamanno in the morning on one of seven
- 20:19Speaker 3: five the river. They're putting everything in the room. Okay.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Sometimes they're hiring a service, yeah, and sometimes they're just
- 20:25Speaker 3: decking it out with furniture. These big mirrors. They're getting
- 20:30Speaker 3: like these actual like fridges that are filled and stocked
- 20:34Speaker 3: with things like it is insane. They're getting light fixtures. No,
- 20:38Speaker 3: not just the fairy lights, you know, like what a
- 20:41Speaker 3: lot of people did in their dorm rooms, not those
- 20:43Speaker 3: little twinkle lights that are five dollars on amazons. Yes, literally,
- 20:48Speaker 3: and I'm not kidding you. They have eighteen pillows on
- 20:51Speaker 3: these beds. Guys, hey, so many pillows.
- 20:54Speaker 2: If this is you, if you're one of those families,
- 20:55Speaker 2: we are not judging you. I mean it sounds like
- 20:57Speaker 2: we're judging a little bit. But you know, to each
- 20:59Speaker 2: their be have that much money to burn through, go
- 21:01Speaker 2: for it. I do remember though, Like I part of
- 21:04Speaker 2: the fun of decorating my room in college was like
- 21:06Speaker 2: I would drive I found my couch on the side
- 21:08Speaker 2: of the road and sure, that's dirty, that's a little
- 21:11Speaker 2: scary katy.
- 21:12Speaker 4: Spray with liesole your fine.
- 21:13Speaker 2: I would go to thrift stores and I would go
- 21:15Speaker 2: to little antique shops and stuff to find these things,
- 21:17Speaker 2: and it was fun.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Was the thrill of the hunt.
- 21:20Speaker 3: I had a bunch of five dollars posters all over
- 21:24Speaker 3: my wall and like string lights and that was it.
- 21:27Speaker 3: And cheap vodka. Yah had cheap whiskey that I hid
- 21:31Speaker 3: behind my bed because I was not of age. But
- 21:34Speaker 3: that's what my dorm room was. I had one singular cup, Guys,
- 21:37Speaker 3: I had one singular cup. And I will never forget
- 21:39Speaker 3: this because my best friend at university always brought this
- 21:42Speaker 3: up that I got from McDonald's. They had these cups
- 21:46Speaker 3: that were like insulated like cups. This one time, okay, nice,
- 21:50Speaker 3: I was like a happy meal and I got it
- 21:52Speaker 3: in a happy meal and I used it all the time.
- 21:56Speaker 3: That was the only cup I used for anything. And
- 21:58Speaker 3: I had one other mug for my coffee, so mugg
- 22:00Speaker 3: and a cup. Every time I went to somebody's dorm
- 22:02Speaker 3: to drink, I had that cup with me.
- 22:05Speaker 4: So funny.
- 22:05Speaker 2: I liked that when you said that it was an
- 22:06Speaker 2: insulated cup for McDonald Zach was like, okay, nice, I.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Got it as a happy meal and I was like.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yeah, A nice cup six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 22:19Speaker 2: one o seven. If you want to reminisce and uh,
- 22:21Speaker 2: you know, discuss how insane this twenty thousand dollars dorm
- 22:23Speaker 2: room thing is.
- 22:24Speaker 8: We're here for you, Ricky Second in the morning.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Seven to five the River. We've been talking about college life.
- 22:30Speaker 2: A lot of parents these days are spending up to
- 22:32Speaker 2: twenty thousand dollars to decorate their kids dorm rooms. April
- 22:36Speaker 2: just dropped her daughter off at college. April's on the line,
- 22:38Speaker 2: what are your thoughts.
- 22:41Speaker 7: Dollars to decorate a dorm room?
- 22:43Speaker 1: Yes, I got the same.
- 22:45Speaker 7: All from her second year, and I think I maybe
- 22:48Speaker 7: one hundred and fifty bucks for things for her dorm room.
- 22:52Speaker 3: And that sounds all right, that sounds normal. But this
- 22:55Speaker 3: is the thing that's happening.
- 22:56Speaker 7: Like she's like, I want this and this and this
- 22:58Speaker 7: and this is homegirl.
- 22:59Speaker 1: You gotta job.
- 23:00Speaker 7: I said, I will buy this. And then we went
- 23:03Speaker 7: to Walmart and they had a pot and pants set
- 23:05Speaker 7: en claars for twenty dollars. Just like I want what
- 23:08Speaker 7: you have in the house, I said, I have worked
- 23:10Speaker 7: my entire life. Yeah, potts and pants, you can have
- 23:14Speaker 7: a twenty dollars cent or you can.
- 23:16Speaker 5: Go to Goodwill because we are doing this twenty dollars.
- 23:19Speaker 4: That's like a nice that's nice for a college.
- 23:21Speaker 5: I also love that you called your child homegirl.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I was like, no way, April, thank you for calling.
- 23:28Speaker 4: I hope she has a great year this year.
- 23:30Speaker 7: All right, bye, guys.
- 23:32Speaker 3: We got Sondra here. She said that she just dropped
- 23:35Speaker 3: off another kid at college. What was that experience, like, Sondra.
- 23:38Speaker 8: They were you haul trucks bringing in kids things, you
- 23:42Speaker 8: haul trucks.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I'm not talking with those little ones, the big U
- 23:44Speaker 1: haul trucks.
- 23:45Speaker 8: What's what?
- 23:46Speaker 5: Banty mouse?
- 23:47Speaker 8: They had drag rugs. That's the craziest thing I think
- 23:50Speaker 8: was the wallpaper if a wallpaper.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Woods lost their minds, Sondra.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Not the wallpaper.
- 23:58Speaker 1: They want to put grown paper underneath the.
- 24:00Speaker 7: Wallpaper because they couldn't hear it to the cinder block.
- 24:04Speaker 3: And then they would put that up.
- 24:05Speaker 1: They had they had lighted mirrors.
- 24:08Speaker 3: I would the comments.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I took two suitcakes.
- 24:10Speaker 8: Two suitcakes.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't think it was unbelievable.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Part of me is jealous, Like being in a dorm
- 24:18Speaker 2: room with like a nice chandelier and wallpaper.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Like that sounds cool. It just sounds like a waste
- 24:23Speaker 4: of mind.
- 24:23Speaker 7: It looked like.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Flip my house.
- 24:25Speaker 5: It looked like pimped my rise.
- 24:27Speaker 3: They had.
- 24:31Speaker 2: It's absolutely thank you for calling Sondre. It's great to
- 24:35Speaker 2: hear from you. We appreciate you weighing in on this.
- 24:37Speaker 8: Thank you, dear Ricky zach in Meadow in the morning.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Another disclaimer, before we played today's daily double tabrick, he said,
- 24:48Speaker 2: this is a second ago, but we don't normally play
- 24:50Speaker 2: videos audio of kids.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Crying like this.
- 24:52Speaker 3: We don't love when parents post, you know, their kids
- 24:55Speaker 3: crying on social media, so we typically avoid it. But honestly,
- 24:59Speaker 3: this is all of us. We relate to this feeling.
- 25:02Speaker 3: So that's why we're gonna play it for you.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the day to be able to tap on
- 25:05Speaker 2: the river. In case you have trouble hearing exactly what
- 25:07Speaker 2: she's saying through the tears, she's talking about how she
- 25:09Speaker 2: does not want to get.
- 25:10Speaker 4: A job when she gets older.
- 25:11Speaker 5: Here, do want a job?
- 25:16Speaker 3: You don't want a job when you get old? How
- 25:19Speaker 3: are you gonna how are you gonna make money? I
- 25:23Speaker 3: don't want a job. I got thousands of money. You
- 25:27Speaker 3: have thousands. What are you gonna do when you run out,
- 25:32Speaker 3: go to the store and if I don't have any
- 25:36Speaker 3: more moody yet, but I'm calling you.
- 25:40Speaker 4: So sweet I want to give her a hug.
- 25:42Speaker 5: That's also literally what I do.
- 25:45Speaker 3: My dad still pays for my phone bill, so if
- 25:49Speaker 3: you got to call mom and dad, it's just the light.
- 25:52Speaker 4: Yeah, oh my god.
- 25:53Speaker 2: It's so sweet, it's so cute, it's so funny. Everything
- 25:56Speaker 2: about it. It's heartbreaking. It's it's uh, yeah, I don't
- 25:58Speaker 2: want her.
- 25:58Speaker 4: To get job.
- 25:59Speaker 5: Thousands of money.
- 26:02Speaker 3: I don't want also so funny, thousands of money.
- 26:05Speaker 4: She has no idea what that means.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Is, I don't even have thousands of.
- 26:10Speaker 8: Money and I work Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the
- 26:14Speaker 8: morning
- 26:15Speaker 1: On one of seven five the River
