Latest / The Catholic Current / A Muslim Conquest of Britain? (with Raymond Ibrahim) 7/8/26
Transcript
- 0:00Hey friends, we have a special treat for you today.
- 0:03We're doing a video interview with Raymond Ibrahim, a very distinguished scholar and
- 0:07author.
- 0:08He's very well up to date on what's going on with Islam and the West and the history
- 0:13of Islam and the West, a history that a lot of people I think would prefer to sweep under
- 0:17the rug.
- 0:18I've interviewed him many times.
- 0:20I've read a lot of his work, and I'm happy to be on video with him again.
- 0:24Raymond Ibrahim, welcome back to The Catholic Current.
- 0:26Hi, Fr.
- 0:27McTeague.
- 0:28Great to be with you again.
- 0:29Raymond, I want to give our listeners a bit of a warning here.
- 0:32We're going to be talking about a mature and painful topic.
- 0:36Listener discretion is advised, and if you're listening with young ears in your company,
- 0:41you might want to wait until later.
- 0:43We've got to talk about what I have called on the air as the Muslim rape war against
- 0:49Britain.
- 0:50I've read the recent report that came out from a member of parliament detailing horrifying
- 0:58sexual abuse of young British girls, primarily because they were Christian and white.
- 1:04For at least 50 years, there's at least 250,000 well-identified victims.
- 1:10The numbers are almost certainly worse.
- 1:13I've talked about this on the air.
- 1:15I've written about it.
- 1:17I'm appalled.
- 1:18I'm shaken by it.
- 1:20You've looked at it too.
- 1:21What's your initial thoughts on the report?
- 1:23Well, much like you just characterized it.
- 1:27On the one hand, it's extremely shocking that it went on.
- 1:29It's actually, I think, the first date of a recorded Pakistani-slash-Muslim grooming
- 1:35gang, as they called it, goes to 1955.
- 1:37So we're talking almost 80 years.
- 1:40The 55-record mark or 60-year mark, that's when it was already an epidemic.
- 1:47But it really traces far back.
- 1:50It just makes perfect sense to me in many ways.
- 1:52If you know anything about Muslim countries and how they see non-Muslim women, especially
- 1:59Pakistan, this is par for the course.
- 2:01I write about the persecution of Christians throughout the Islamic world.
- 2:06Every single week, several stories come out of Pakistan and other Muslim countries of
- 2:11how they just prey on the Christian women, forcibly convert them, gang-rape them.
- 2:16And then the judges and the police side with the Muslims.
- 2:20Muslims say things like, literally, I have verbatim quotes about how Christian women
- 2:25are there just for sex.
- 2:27So you bring that sort of mentality and you transplant it into the Western world, and
- 2:34the women there are already sort of taught to be promiscuous.
- 2:37What do you think is going to happen?
- 2:39It's exactly what we're seeing.
- 2:41It's what happens in Pakistan, but times 10, because it's being facilitated here in the
- 2:46West itself.
- 2:47So none of this is shocking.
- 2:48It's exactly what one would expect would happen.
- 2:51No, I'm sure you've heard too that this wasn't really real Islam, and that it's part of a
- 2:58much larger and more complex issue, and that it would be racist or some sort of phobia
- 3:07to speak of this as primarily a Muslim or Pakistani thing in Britain.
- 3:12Maybe we can have a conversation another time about other countries like Sweden and France
- 3:17and Italy and Germany and so on.
- 3:20But I do have in hand a copy of a report issued in 2014 from the Muslim Council of Britain,
- 3:27and it was a symposium on safeguarding everybody's children.
- 3:31And I want to read a line to you from the Secretary General at the time.
- 3:38And he says, as a representative body, it was our responsibility to set the record straight.
- 3:46It was not about apologizing on behalf of the community, but to clearly state that nothing
- 3:51in our faith or culture condones such despicable activities, just as there is nothing in the
- 3:57Christian faith that condones a child abuse revealed in the case of celebrities like Jimmy
- 4:02Seville or politicians like Cyril Smith.
- 4:05And then he adds, Islam's zero tolerance on sexual abuse is clear.
- 4:13What's your response to that?
- 4:15You know Islam.
- 4:16You know the historical records.
- 4:17You follow this every day.
- 4:19You tell me, what do you make of that report?
- 4:22Well, there's three ways to respond to what he said.
- 4:25We can look at what Islam does doctrinally, what it teaches.
- 4:27We can see how Islam behavior has manifested itself historically, and we can see how it
- 4:33is going on today throughout the world, not just Britain, in which case Britain's not
- 4:38an aberration because they're trying to make, I think, that argument.
- 4:42Also doctrinally, you know, humanity is classified according to if they're believers or not,
- 4:47if they're Muslims or not.
- 4:48And if you're a Khaifah, there's different names in Arabic, Khaifah, Mushrik, et cetera.
- 4:53You are an enemy by default, and you need to be subject to-
- 4:56You're an infidel.
- 4:57You're an infidel, yeah.
- 4:58That's the common translation in English.
- 5:00But actually the Arabic word carries so many worse pejoratives and connotations than the
- 5:05word infidel in English.
- 5:07But I mean, for a Muslim to hear the word Khaifah or other words, Mushrik, they're all
- 5:13the same, it basically means this person's your enemy and you have to hate them, and
- 5:18you have to suppress and subjugate them somehow.
- 5:21And it's really, they do a disservice in the Quran translations, English translations,
- 5:25because they just translate that word into a disbeliever or a nonbeliever.
- 5:29And it sounds eugenic and neutral.
- 5:30It's not.
- 5:31It means an enemy that you have to war against, okay?
- 5:35So that's the first point, is that every non-Muslim from a strictly Islamic point of
- 5:39view is an enemy, okay, that needs to- The Quran talks about hating them, subjugating
- 5:46them, all sorts of things that are bad, and waging jihad, of course.
- 5:51And then in the context of that, you can enslave, for sexual purposes, women.
- 5:58This is in the Quran.
- 5:59Muhammad did it.
- 6:00All the early pious Muslim leaders in Caliphs and Sultans throughout history did it.
- 6:06Slavery was a standard norm up until, I think until the 70s, Saudi Arabia was doing it,
- 6:11until it was forcibly stopped, okay?
- 6:13And all throughout the Islamic world, it was stopped, slavery, including concubinage, thanks
- 6:18to colonial pressure in the 19th century and the 20th century, okay?
- 6:22So it's part of the doctrine.
- 6:24I think Quran 4.3 is one of the many verses that talks about a man can have four wives
- 6:29or can sleep with four wives, and whatever his right hand possesses, and that's known
- 6:35as a non-Muslim infidel woman who's been captured in the context of jihad, okay?
- 6:42So historically, very, very common, absolutely common, the slavery, and especially, and I've
- 6:49covered this a lot, slavery of white women, European women.
- 6:53There was apparently a premium on them, and this even goes back to Muhammad himself, where
- 6:58in a Hadith, and I've quoted it several times, he tries to entice and beguile his followers
- 7:03to wage war on the Eastern Roman Empire, the Byzantines at the time, and he says, don't
- 7:08you want the women of yellow, okay, which is a linguistic curiosity, but a lot of people
- 7:14think it means fair hair, fair skin, and that goes all the way throughout history.
- 7:19The Abbasid Caliphate, the entire Viking phenomenon, and it's, you know, the attacks on coastal
- 7:25European nations, was one of the main reasons was to get white slaves and sell it to the
- 7:30Abbasids who, again, paid top dollar for them, and this just goes on and on and on all throughout
- 7:34history, you know, the Barbary War, the Barbary slave trade of millions of Europeans that
- 7:40went all the way to Iceland, again, sexually enslaved, et cetera.
- 7:45So that's the history, that's the doctrine, and then you fast forward to today, well,
- 7:50you're bringing this very same mentality, and you're putting it in, and now it's much
- 7:54worse, because now, again, it's such a bad cultural combination, because in the West,
- 7:58you have promiscuity, free love, and all that sort of thing, and Muslims, there's also been
- 8:04a stereotype amongst Muslims that goes all the way back to Abbasid times, where they
- 8:09say that it's kind of like this weird fantasy that European women are promiscuous by nature,
- 8:15and for that reason, they should be raped, and this comes out very frequently, I have
- 8:20it documented in my books, like Sword and Scimitar.
- 8:23So you take that mentality, and you put it and transplant it in Western nations, and
- 8:27they see women scantily clad, walking about, acting promiscuous, and it just all validates
- 8:33it, and that whole entire, you know, phenomenon just activates, and they prey on them, they
- 8:39groom them, they sexually enslave them, they, it's also interesting, because you read the
- 8:44report, and I did too, when you look at the early, I was telling you how there's a sort
- 8:49of degrading mentality, they say all Western women, even nuns, are by nature harlots who
- 8:54are just promiscuous.
- 8:56This comes out all throughout the report, where the Muslims, really, the way they talk
- 9:00about these girls, they, in very dehumanizing language, they call them, you know, you're
- 9:06an animal, you're just, you just exist for sex, et cetera, et cetera, so this has a very
- 9:12long history, and so when I see it, all I see is absolute and perfect continuity with
- 9:17the doctrine, with the history, and it's important to note also, because a lot of people
- 9:21are saying, well, maybe this is a Pakistani thing, and I even early on said this is very
- 9:25prevalent in Pakistan with Christians, but it's interesting, because if you leave Britain,
- 9:30what you see in Britain, of course, is, it has a large Muslim population, but the majority
- 9:34are Pakistanis and Indians, Bangladeshis, if you go to other countries in Europe that
- 9:39are having the same problem, like Sweden, it's not Pakistanis, because there's not a
- 9:44lot of Pakistanis, it's actually Arabs and Syrians, and you go in other European countries,
- 9:49and you find it's, again, others, it's not Pakistanis, so it's very clearly an Islamic
- 9:54thing, and, but as you indicated earlier, you know, people are too terrified of the
- 10:00racist suggestion, or, you know, this is Islamophobic to even touch on this, so they're
- 10:05more than happy to sacrifice a quarter million girls rather than be called names.
- 10:10See, the racist name, I don't understand, because, you know, Islam is not a race,
- 10:17you know, it's a religion, it's a political ideology, it's not a race, so that confuses
- 10:24me as well, so the bottom line, that 2014 report from the Muslim Council of Britain,
- 10:28when they talk about the zero tolerance of sexual abuse in Islam, in your view, to summarize,
- 10:36the record shows that's simply not true, is that correct?
- 10:40It's absolutely not true, this is, it's, if the prophet of Islam, who's extolled as the
- 10:46most perfect and complete man, and you have an example, that's what the Quran says, and
- 10:50the prophet Muhammad had sex slaves, there's even one anecdote, I forget her name, but
- 10:57he killed, you know, he took one woman from her husband, and her father, and tortured
- 11:01her father and husband to death, or had them tortured to death, and this woman, at one
- 11:08point she even says, I hated this man more than anyone else, and this is his quote-unquote
- 11:13wife, right, but that, above and beyond wives, he had concubines, formal sexual slaves, and
- 11:19again, it's all throughout the Quran, every, virtually every caliph and sultan, especially
- 11:24in the Ottomans, in Cordoba, in Spain, especially as the years went by, they were almost entirely
- 11:31non-Arab, and they were purely Spaniard, or Greek, in the Ottomans, because every single
- 11:37mom was a sex slave, a European sex slave, you know, and so it kept diluting and diluting,
- 11:42so the last Umayyad caliph was something like 0.01% Arab.
- 11:48Now, it also strains credulity to me, I mean, England is a relatively small country, geographically,
- 11:53I mean, it's not Canada, so the idea that hundreds of thousands of girls could have
- 11:59been abused over 50, 60 years, did nobody in the Muslim community know?
- 12:06Were all the imams taken by surprise? All the Muslims in law enforcement, higher education,
- 12:13mental health, medical services, none of them knew? Is this what we're being asked to believe?
- 12:20One of the absolute worst places is London and the adjoining vicinities that this was happening,
- 12:24and of course, the mayor there, Sadiq Khan, who's Pakistani, when this was brought up,
- 12:30over the years, he would mock it and dismiss it, okay? And now we know the extent of it,
- 12:35and just how well-documented and how real this is. This is something, it was kind of like the
- 12:39dirty secret that everybody knows. Everybody knows it. And he acted like, no, no, what are
- 12:44you talking about? And until finally, you know, we got this very comprehensive report, and he's still,
- 12:50of course, in denial. No, this has nothing to do with, oh, these are just bad actors, and,
- 12:55you know, and you can't castigate an entire religion, and et cetera, et cetera. Well,
- 13:00again, like I said, if you leave the current context and you just look at the Islamic world
- 13:05today, it's happening, okay? Slavery is back big time in Africa, especially sex slavery,
- 13:12and who's doing it? It's Muslims, okay? So this is an Islamic thing. It only ever stopped
- 13:17because back when Western European Christian powers still had a spine in the colonial era,
- 13:23they actually exerted pressure and forced the Islamic world to stop it. Now, as the West
- 13:27withdraws in all ways, you're seeing it come back. It's coming back all around the world,
- 13:32and it's coming back even in the West. Right, right. Now, I want to shift a
- 13:37little bit and talk about the people who turned a blind eye. I know in the secular West,
- 13:44the very, very worst thing you can be called is racist, and then maybe second or third would be
- 13:54to be an Islamophobe or any other kind of phobe. I think it's actually wise and prudent to be
- 14:00afraid of things that can really hurt you. So, again, looking at the report, law enforcement,
- 14:06medicine, mental health, education was not only just a blind eye, but oftentimes facilitated as
- 14:15well. What happened in the West, what happened in former Christendom that you could spend an entire
- 14:26career, 20, 30 years in law enforcement or medicine and education, and know that minor girls
- 14:35were being preyed on by gangs of men, and not only do nothing but vilify the victims and those
- 14:44who tried to defend them, and then also teach your colleagues, those whom you're mentoring,
- 14:51to do the same? What died in the Western soul that this could happen for so long?
- 15:00I mean, there's many ways to try to unpack this, but to be succinct,
- 15:03it's just the turning away from God, reason, logic, and truth, and just an embracement of
- 15:08nihilism, and all I care about is how I look, and that I don't get called the bad name, I don't get
- 15:14called racist, and that my job goes smoothly, and it's selfishness, and who cares about these people
- 15:20as long as we're all in cahoots? And then there's another element that I didn't see it in the report,
- 15:25maybe it was, but that I always wonder, which is, okay, well, Britain has a large Muslim population,
- 15:31large Pakistani population, a lot of them are in positions of power, so to what extent were the
- 15:37turning of the blind eye, and the police who act this way, and the authorities, to what extent were
- 15:42they actually Muslims and Pakistanis who were actually facilitating it, or at the very least,
- 15:46trying not to be embarrassed about it, and trying to suppress it? So you probably had a lot of that
- 15:51going on, you probably had a lot of native whites who were just freaked out and too terrified of
- 15:55touching this because of how they'll look bad, and like I said, it's much better to just sacrifice
- 16:00these girls, who cares about them, I have a career, so that's the civilization that the West is now,
- 16:06it's not, it has no honor, it has no, you know, self-respect, including for its own daughters,
- 16:13it's happy to just sell them, sacrifice them for, you know, its own gain and reputation.
- 16:20I have a dear, I lived in London for two years to study many years ago, and I have a dear friend
- 16:24there who is originally Welsh, lived in London for many years, and has since relocated to a small
- 16:29island off of Scotland, because he said London has become unlivable, and he says, father, you're an
- 16:34American, you're underestimating the role of the class system in Britain. Nearly all of these girls
- 16:43were from working class, from poor, these were not Oxbridge graduates, these were not the daughters
- 16:50and granddaughters of nobility, so they were expendable, and I find that horrifying, and also,
- 16:59isn't it the case, now it was maybe say different in the 70s, but certainly now, Muslims in Britain
- 17:06tend to vote in blocks, and they tend to vote for the Labour Party, did the Labour Party make a
- 17:14calculation that to have a reliable Muslim voting block was worth the sacrifice?
- 17:20I have no doubt that that's the way their brain would work, absolutely, and you know, the voting
- 17:27block thing is another interesting point, it just shows you what a clash you have there of
- 17:32civilizations, where Brits are conditioned, you know, if I tell you, oh, I vote for this guy because
- 17:38he's my skin color and my religion, that's considered horrible, right? Imagine if whites
- 17:43said, I only vote for the white guy, well, that's, that's Hitlerian, but that's what all the Muslims
- 17:47do in Britain, openly, and they say it, oh, we're voting for the Muslim guy because he has my back,
- 17:52he's got what's good for me, not what's good for society, or for all of us, and it's so open,
- 17:58and like you said, of course, Labour and these other groups are just trying to curry Muslim
- 18:02favour, and they're expendable as well, when the time comes, you know, they'll, these leftist
- 18:09elements always go out of their way to curry favour with Muslims, and try to win them over, and you
- 18:15know, be their servants until they're no longer needed, and they're also dispensed with as well,
- 18:21so the overall though, really, the climate in countries like Britain is just, to me, surreal,
- 18:26and it's only because people are so used to it, you know, they're born into it, this is all they
- 18:32know, if you could like, objectively just transcend it, and just look at it as a nation,
- 18:36it's beyond, it's surreal doesn't do it justice, okay, a nation that was once so powerful and
- 18:43glorious, and now it's bringing in an element that's raping its children, and it does nothing
- 18:49but sit around, and watch, and complain, and go put a hashtag, I mean, it's just completely done,
- 18:57I don't see any, I honestly see no hope for it, to be perfectly blunt with you, and I know they
- 19:02have a lot of, oh, this party, that party, no, this has been one slow degradation, and I think
- 19:08it's just going to continue. Well, I'm afraid you're right, because, you know, along the way,
- 19:13there was a horrifying case last fall, of a white college student being stabbed, I believe, by a
- 19:22Sikh, and the police arrested the young white man, bleeding out, there was another video case
- 19:29recently, just a few days ago, I believed were a number of, how should we call them,
- 19:35cultural enrichers, were beating the bejabbers, out of a young white boy, and then the police
- 19:41grabbed him, and he thought the police were assaulting him, so he pushed back, so he got
- 19:45arrested, and the police asked everyone not to spread the video around, so it seems that
- 19:54police and institutions are being trained to facilitate this kind of abuse, you know,
- 20:03in the report that I read from Parliament, the complaining mother said to the school,
- 20:09I think the abusing men were Asian, and the teacher said, don't call them Asian, that's
- 20:16racist, you should just be glad that your daughter's learning about another culture. I want
- 20:21to talk about the voting thing for just a moment. I voted recently, last month, in the United States,
- 20:28and the polling places are clearly demarcated, and absolutely no one is allowed, within hundreds
- 20:35of feet, to pass out literature, make a speech, influence the voter in any way, but apparently,
- 20:41in Britain, there's something called family voting, where Muslim men will bring in a wife
- 20:46or two, or three, and in the polling place, instruct them how to vote. Now, I don't know
- 20:54if that's illegal in Britain or not, I don't think it's a gold star in the British voting system,
- 21:00but if that happened with a white family, even if a white man brought only, if a native Briton
- 21:06only brought just one wife with him, and in full Christian modesty, surely he would be arrested
- 21:12or vilified, wouldn't he? Absolutely. This is, again, the problem, you know, Western society,
- 21:17especially secular civic society, has become so, you know, very delicate, but it's something that
- 21:25you have to be a delicate person to actually do it, but then you bring an element that just
- 21:30exploits the heck out of it, okay, and just for its own gain, and you have to sit back and watch it,
- 21:35and do nothing, because again, you're crippled by these words, racist, or Islamophobic, or whatever,
- 21:41okay, and like you said, that young man, I think, Henry Nowak, yeah, he was, it was much worse to
- 21:46the police that he might have said something, okay, out of his mouth, than the fact that he
- 21:50was stabbed, okay, right, that's the culture now of, that's governing Britain, okay, that is insane,
- 21:57that it's become like a sacrament to them, these words, racism, you know, multiculturalism,
- 22:04they're magic words, yeah, and if you say the magic words, everything is excused, or forgiven.
- 22:10Now, I said, some of my best friends are British, I've lived there as an American, I trace the roots
- 22:17of America to Britain, you know, and it's part of Western civilization, it's part of Christendom,
- 22:26you know, Britain used to be so Catholic, it was referred to as Our Lady's Dowry, I'd like to see
- 22:34Britain turn around, and put a stop to this, and reclaim its Christian identity, but now,
- 22:42the King, who used to be known as Defender of the Faith, says that he's Defender of Faith,
- 22:48unspecified, and is just, wants to make a safe place for multiculturalism,
- 22:55what does Britain need to do to begin to turn this around? In a word, repent, metanoe,
- 23:05in the Greek term, you know, have a change of mind, that's what the word literally means,
- 23:10a complete change of mind, and a change of gear, and get back to sanity, and being normal,
- 23:17and objective, and rational, that's what they need to do, all of which, in my mind, is becoming
- 23:24Christian again, actually, that's one with it, and yeah, the point about the King, you know,
- 23:30that just seals it right there, the King, the monarchy, was so interwovenly connected with
- 23:36Christianity, and he goes, you know, from Defender of the Faith, to Defender of the Faiths,
- 23:42plural, yeah, he says he's the protector of faith in the multi-faith nation, well, you know,
- 23:47if a faith, once a faith becomes plural, then, in other words, to put it simply, okay, if all
- 23:54faiths are equal, then no faith is true, and that's really what he's saying now, it made sense
- 23:59when he was a Defender of the Faith, you can be a Defender of the Faith in Britain, Christianity,
- 24:03and allow people to have whatever faith they want, that's one thing, but if you're defending
- 24:07all the faiths, then you are implicitly saying they are all equal, and if they're all equal,
- 24:11then none of them are true, because they all contradict each other, to one degree or another,
- 24:16especially Islam, so, and we all know he made this change, especially for Islam,
- 24:22Islam is the one religion that condemns the gospel message, that says Jesus is not the son of God,
- 24:27he was not crucified, he wasn't killed, and he wasn't resurrected, and you bring that in,
- 24:32and now you're going to defend it equally with Christianity, yeah, I don't think so, I think
- 24:36actually, this is another example of how Britain, it will again become a Defender of the Faith,
- 24:42it just won't be Christianity, it'll be something else, it'll be Islam. Well, I, and I have to
- 24:47wonder too, how well informed his majesty is about how the religion of peace treats homosexuals,
- 24:54for example, so, but that's, that's another topic for, for another time, I know that
- 24:59outgoing Prime Minister Keir Starmer, when he worked for Crown Prosecution, so basically he was
- 25:04kind of an Attorney General, he sent as many as 13,000 strongly worded letters to men who had
- 25:13been arrested for raping British girls, and he, he very sternly asks them not to do it again,
- 25:21and he's the Prime Minister, and his likely successor apparently has absolutely no interest
- 25:31in doing anything in terms of immigration, we've only got about five minutes left, can we talk
- 25:36about immigration policy and the present crisis of Britain, I would say they're not unrelated,
- 25:42what do you say? Well, of course not related, if you look at it, again, all these problems,
- 25:48all you have to do is look at another European country that shares similar dynamics with,
- 25:52let's say Britain, and, but it doesn't have the migrants and the Muslims, and you're going to
- 25:56find none of this is happening, okay, I was in Hungary for a while, yeah, Hungary and Poland,
- 26:03they are against having Muslim migrants, these issues are not happening, there is no
- 26:07rape gangs going on, but then I look at other countries that do have a large Muslim population,
- 26:12and I see the same dynamics, Sweden, Germany, remember in Germany a few years ago there was that
- 26:18rape festival on New Year's Eve in Cologne, where Muslims were, okay, and all throughout,
- 26:24so wherever you have this large Muslim populations in Europe, it's the same exact phenomenon is
- 26:30occurring, so how can we see it in the doctrine, see it in the history, see it in the Islamic world,
- 26:37what's happening to Christians and other non-Muslim minorities, and then see it in the West,
- 26:41and still plug our ears and say, no, no, it's not what you think it is, that's the problem,
- 26:45so when you ask me what needs to change, that, you need to stop being stupid.
- 26:49Well, yes, and I think part of not being stupid is to have our, we need to have a cultural come
- 26:55to Jesus moment, quite literally, Christianity says, love your enemies, pray for those who
- 27:00persecute you, it doesn't say you have no enemies, and it doesn't say no one is persecuting you,
- 27:07and one of the best ways you can win an enemy over to be a real friend is to convert them to
- 27:15Christ, so I would like to see Christianity reclaim its missionary spirit, because when you
- 27:23have a Christian culture, you don't have a rape culture, and I think that needs to be sent up
- 27:30front. Raymond Ibrahim, I am so grateful for your time, I'm so very, very grateful for your good
- 27:34work, keep on doing what you're doing, and maybe someday we'll have a pleasant conversation,
- 27:40but meanwhile, I'm glad that you're with The Catholic Current today,
- 27:44and I hope we can talk again soon. Thanks, Fr. McTeague.
