- 0:03Speaker 1: And it has coming on one of my favorite holidays
- 0:07Speaker 1: of the year top three best holidays of the year.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Why Angie, thanks for asking, because on July fourth, you
- 0:13Speaker 1: can wake up and start drinking at nine am and
- 0:15Speaker 1: no one will judge you for it. Okay, now, did
- 0:17Speaker 1: I get to do that this year? Absolutely not, because
- 0:20Speaker 1: I had no idea if I was going to have
- 0:22Speaker 1: to do a little baby hospital run.
- 0:24Speaker 2: That's very responsible. So I did it for you. I
- 0:27Speaker 2: went to Starbucks and I got myself a strawberry assy
- 0:32Speaker 2: energy refresher and then a dump slip tequila in it. Hey,
- 0:36Speaker 2: there you go, and I started drinking. I think I
- 0:38Speaker 2: think it might'ven been before ninety noey for you, Thank you,
- 0:42Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 0:43Speaker 1: How was your July fourth weekend or maybe the day
- 0:46Speaker 1: of what'd you end up doing?
- 0:47Speaker 3: Oh?
- 0:48Speaker 2: It was magical, and you let us know what you
- 0:50Speaker 2: did for fourth of July seven oh one two eight
- 0:53Speaker 2: oho one nine eight seven. We also put this up
- 0:55Speaker 2: on the big ninety eight point seven Facebook page. Honestly,
- 0:59Speaker 2: every year, my birthday, which is on the third, is
- 1:03Speaker 2: overshadowed by America's birthday, and obviously even more so because
- 1:08Speaker 2: it was America's two hundred and fiftieth, So I actually
- 1:12Speaker 2: spent the morning drinking my tequila refresher and watching on
- 1:17Speaker 2: Disney Plus, they had a whole thing about America's tooth,
- 1:21Speaker 2: so I watched that for a bit, but we tried
- 1:23Speaker 2: to focus on me because I'm very selfish, and so
- 1:26Speaker 2: me and the kids and Mikey we did go out
- 1:30Speaker 2: to dinner. We went to Rhombus Guys to celebrate my
- 1:33Speaker 2: birthday slash America's two fiftieth, and the neighbors ended up
- 1:38Speaker 2: having some really I don't know how legal these were,
- 1:44Speaker 2: but they had some dope fireworks, although at one point,
- 1:47Speaker 2: like we ran for cover and Mikey got hit by
- 1:49Speaker 2: like a spark or something. It singed his shirt. Oh nice, yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 2: but it was The neighbors had the fireworks covered, so
- 1:57Speaker 2: we watched that, and then I had myself a good
- 2:00Speaker 2: old fashioned firecracker popsicle. Oh sure, because nothing says America
- 2:07Speaker 2: like a firecracker popsicle or bomb pops there are several
- 2:10Speaker 2: names for those. But we had a really nice time,
- 2:13Speaker 2: and then we played some video games late into the
- 2:16Speaker 2: night because we weren't getting any sleep with the way
- 2:18Speaker 2: the fire works were sounding.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right. Yeah, my fourth of July was pretty
- 2:22Speaker 1: low key. It's kind of just hard when you're sort
- 2:25Speaker 1: of on baby week, Yeah, to do a ton. So
- 2:30Speaker 1: Corey and I ended up very low key. You know.
- 2:32Speaker 1: We had hung out with our dog a little bit.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I washed out and vacuumed down and cleaned out her
- 2:36Speaker 1: entire car. Uh you know, maybe like a very very
- 2:40Speaker 1: pre like push gift. Yeah, I like that, very very
- 2:44Speaker 1: pre push gift. But Winona got to play in her pool,
- 2:47Speaker 1: which she loves, and then I love that.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I love when she gets in the pool.
- 2:51Speaker 1: It's so cute. And then we spent a lot of
- 2:54Speaker 1: time just chilling together, and we started watching what's the
- 3:00Speaker 1: show with the hockey off campus? Off campus? I don't
- 3:04Speaker 1: know why. I want to say obsession. That's the other
- 3:06Speaker 1: thing you're talking about, right, No, off campus. And then
- 3:09Speaker 1: we watched another show on Netflix called I Will Find
- 3:11Speaker 1: You about the guy who is in jail for supposedly,
- 3:15Speaker 1: you know, ending his son's life and it turns out
- 3:18Speaker 1: he didn't do it.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I've heard.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah, we went through that, which was cool, and then
- 3:23Speaker 1: we started Neither her nor I have ever watched a
- 3:27Speaker 1: Tom Holland Spider Man movie. Not one. Nope, not a
- 3:32Speaker 1: single one yet.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I think those are the best movies in the Marvel series.
- 3:36Speaker 2: So you're gearing up for the new one coming out.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Yeah, so we watched the first one. Is it called Homecoming?
- 3:42Speaker 1: We watched the first one and just spent a bunch
- 3:45Speaker 1: of time doing nothing.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I love that.
- 3:48Speaker 1: This weekend, which was very nice, I mean on Saturday
- 3:51Speaker 1: or Saturday or Sunday, we got up and we did
- 3:53Speaker 1: take Wenona for a quick, little, short, short walk for
- 3:56Speaker 1: pregnant mom around the block and it was just a
- 4:00Speaker 1: very low key day. Now on Saturday. One of the
- 4:03Speaker 1: best parts about living in South Fargo is July fourth.
- 4:07Speaker 1: We got our lawn chairs. We heard all the fireworks
- 4:10Speaker 1: going off, and we sat in our driveway and I'm
- 4:12Speaker 1: not kidding. There's like seventeen firework displays that kind of
- 4:16Speaker 1: battle each other out on July fourth. It is wonderful.
- 4:20Speaker 1: It's like going to see the fireworks, but just going
- 4:23Speaker 1: to your driveway. Yeah, it didn't have to leave the
- 4:25Speaker 1: house at all. I so came to you, yes, and
- 4:28Speaker 1: it was very very cool. And it's one of my
- 4:30Speaker 1: favorite parts about sar the South Fargo where I live
- 4:32Speaker 1: at this time. Of the year. And it's just nice
- 4:34Speaker 1: to kind of be able to be a part of
- 4:36Speaker 1: Fourth of July when we can't really do a ton. Yeah,
- 4:39Speaker 1: I still got to do the firework things, so that
- 4:41Speaker 1: was a blast.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Neighborhood, had you covered? I did like this on Facebook,
- 4:45Speaker 2: Miko put watched fireworks at the fair and cheated on
- 4:49Speaker 2: my diet.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Oh I love that.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Good for you.
- 4:52Speaker 3: That's right, celebrating life's little victories.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Every morning.
- 5:01Speaker 3: We practice gratitude on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 5:04Speaker 1: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 5:06Speaker 1: plastic job busted out when it was someone's acton.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Hall and I just really needed to win, you know,
- 5:11Speaker 3: sure your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 5:14Speaker 3: two eight A one ninety eight seven.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And Angie, do you have a little victory for us today?
- 5:20Speaker 2: Why? Yes, Gabe, I'm not dead, which sounds weird, but
- 5:25Speaker 2: I celebrated my birthday over the weekend July third, not
- 5:28Speaker 2: to be confused with Taylor Swift's wedding day. And oh no,
- 5:34Speaker 2: that just means though, if you're celebrating birthday, you haven't
- 5:37Speaker 2: died yet, and that's very exciting. I turned thirty, huh,
- 5:40Speaker 2: and I could not be more grateful. Stepping into the
- 5:46Speaker 2: fine I'll say it, stepping into the final year of
- 5:49Speaker 2: my thirties. I'm really happy. I had such a good
- 5:52Speaker 2: time celebrating my little brother, whose birthday is today. Shout
- 5:56Speaker 2: out Robert, turning thirty six. He sent me a a
- 6:00Speaker 2: Super Nintendo Classic for my birthday so I could play
- 6:04Speaker 2: all the old school video games from my youth with
- 6:07Speaker 2: my children, and that has been so magical. I also
- 6:11Speaker 2: went to the movies at the Fargo Theater. I had
- 6:14Speaker 2: never been to the Fargo Theater. Sure I watched Obsession.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Excellent movie. We need to discuss that at a later time.
- 6:20Speaker 2: What else did we do? Oh? I had brunch with
- 6:23Speaker 2: Corey over on Bob. We went to Plaza Azteca and
- 6:26Speaker 2: I drank all of the tequila in the land.
- 6:28Speaker 1: The one by where we live. Yeah, it's a I
- 6:31Speaker 1: love plaza.
- 6:32Speaker 2: It good and we sat on the patio and it
- 6:35Speaker 2: was perfect weather because the sun was out, but there
- 6:38Speaker 2: was a nice breeze enough where I wasn't sweating my
- 6:41Speaker 2: face off. And yeah, it was just a good It
- 6:44Speaker 2: was just a great time. Oh, Mikey and I went
- 6:46Speaker 2: to Blarneystone to have a drink because that was the
- 6:49Speaker 2: very first place we visited when we moved to Fargo.
- 6:52Speaker 2: He helped me move to Fargo a year and a
- 6:54Speaker 2: half ago, and we'd drank at Blarneystone, so we did that.
- 6:58Speaker 2: It was just such a good time. And then we
- 7:00Speaker 2: went out to Star Fireworks Land so that they had
- 7:05Speaker 2: their big America to fifty bash. Yeah yeah, yeah, And
- 7:08Speaker 2: I just pretended that that was for me because it
- 7:10Speaker 2: was my birthday, as you should, so thank you. So
- 7:13Speaker 2: all in all, just a lovely birthday weekend. I feel good,
- 7:19Speaker 2: thirty nine and feeling fine.
- 7:21Speaker 1: That's right. Corey and I were kind of joking this
- 7:23Speaker 1: past weekend. It would have been on Friday. But if
- 7:27Speaker 1: if our daughter were to arrive on Friday, Angie would
- 7:31Speaker 1: have had Taylor Swift's wedding and then Baby GE's birth yeah,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and her birthday.
- 7:37Speaker 2: So I would have been knocked down a couple pairs.
- 7:39Speaker 1: So a round of applause to Kaylee for Angie's early
- 7:42Speaker 1: and first ever birthday present.
- 7:44Speaker 2: From Baby g.
- 7:47Speaker 1: But it did look like you had a good time,
- 7:48Speaker 1: and I hope you had a good birthday. I sent
- 7:50Speaker 1: you a text. I figured you were kind of running
- 7:52Speaker 1: around a knife. I really didn't really want to like
- 7:54Speaker 1: call as you were, you know, doing stuff.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I know it's because you hate me. No, I did,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and I saw you.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I got to you.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And Corey like to kick off birthday celebration at Unhinged
- 8:04Speaker 2: Thursday night for big happy hours, So that was good.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I felt like that was part of my birthday celebration too.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Definitely was.
- 8:10Speaker 2: And I also celebrate the entire month, so if anybody
- 8:14Speaker 2: missed it, that's fine. I'll be celebrating all July.
- 8:17Speaker 1: A happy birthday two hour ye Angie her or her
- 8:21Speaker 1: mid thirties.
- 8:23Speaker 2: No, I'm officially in my late are trying to save
- 8:25Speaker 2: you all? No, it's late thirties. I can accept it. Now.
- 8:28Speaker 2: What about you, Gabe, what's your little victim?
- 8:30Speaker 1: I'd be Corey and Mario Party. Oh well, no, that.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Kind of major because in Mario Party, it always happens
- 8:38Speaker 2: where like you think you're gonna win, and then all
- 8:40Speaker 2: of a sudden, it's like we're gonna award a bunch
- 8:42Speaker 2: of stars to the person.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Losing right now, yes, and then they win. That's exactly
- 8:46Speaker 1: what happens. Yeah, the time that play. But no, Corey
- 8:51Speaker 1: and I were really just kind of sitting around sort
- 8:54Speaker 1: of I don't know. On baby watch, I guess what
- 8:59Speaker 1: was kind of nice though, And Corey mentioned this, and
- 9:01Speaker 1: sadly I didn't even think about it. But we kind
- 9:04Speaker 1: of were just naturally spending a lot of time together
- 9:06Speaker 1: this weekend as opposed like maybe her going to read
- 9:09Speaker 1: or like me like take the dog for a walk
- 9:11Speaker 1: by myself or and she had mentioned. Corey and I
- 9:15Speaker 1: were sitting on the couch as we watched a bunch
- 9:18Speaker 1: of shows, finished them, we started a new movie kind
- 9:20Speaker 1: of series that we're gonna go through, and our dog
- 9:24Speaker 1: tried to sit between us on the couch, and Corey
- 9:26Speaker 1: had joked and she was like, hey, it's like not
- 9:29Speaker 1: a whole lot of time with just me and dad around.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Can we sit by each other on the couch? And
- 9:34Speaker 1: I didn't. It never registered to me that, like, oh yeah,
- 9:36Speaker 1: that's kind of true, you know, with baby g on
- 9:39Speaker 1: the way a little bit. So we spent a lot
- 9:42Speaker 1: of time together this weekend, just kind of hanging out.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I mean I cleaned out and washed out and vacuumed
- 9:47Speaker 1: out her car and I washed it and she just
- 9:50Speaker 1: chilled and hung out with me, and I was kind
- 9:52Speaker 1: of a car wash babe. With no shirt on you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: It was super hot. The dog, well, I was super hot.
- 9:59Speaker 1: The weather was also super and the dog was hanging
- 10:02Speaker 1: out and it was just kind of fun. We really
- 10:04Speaker 1: just kind of spent a lot of time together doing nothing.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Honestly, this could be your last week and that could
- 10:09Speaker 2: have been the last weekend as just Gabe and Corey
- 10:12Speaker 2: about baby Geese. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
- 10:21Speaker 1: It has officially arrived. I mean we've been kind of
- 10:24Speaker 1: on baby watch I think a little bit, but now
- 10:28Speaker 1: we really really on baby watch.
- 10:29Speaker 2: This week baby watched twenty twenty six.
- 10:32Speaker 1: We had never really shared baby G's you know, supposed
- 10:36Speaker 1: to do date. Yeah, but supposedly it will be this Thursday,
- 10:40Speaker 1: which the odds of it hitting that date, you know,
- 10:43Speaker 1: kind of slim to none. Whether she's a tiny bit
- 10:45Speaker 1: after or a tiny bit before, but either way.
- 10:47Speaker 2: You never know.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Yeah, either way, we really on baby baby watch. Now.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Every time my wife moves or makes us single noise,
- 10:54Speaker 1: you just sit up a little straighter on the couch. Yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 1: you kind of just check the phone a little bit faster.
- 10:59Speaker 1: You know.
- 10:59Speaker 2: It was so funny. We were at unhinged for big.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Happy as I know, exactly what you're talking about.
- 11:03Speaker 2: There was a moment where Corey like kind of stopped
- 11:06Speaker 2: for a second and was like, oh, like she realized
- 11:10Speaker 2: something she wanted to share with the table. But all
- 11:12Speaker 2: of it, myself, Gabe and Mikey, all of us were like,
- 11:16Speaker 2: is a baby cum Yeah.
- 11:17Speaker 1: We all stopped.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and I was like, no, oh, I just remembered something. Yeah,
- 11:21Speaker 2: It's like, you can't do that.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Poor Corey can't even contribute to a conversation now for
- 11:27Speaker 1: this week. But I guess I just really wanted to
- 11:30Speaker 1: say I am so grateful and humbled by the fact
- 11:34Speaker 1: that there have been so many people who have taken
- 11:36Speaker 1: an interest or care or I've just received so many
- 11:40Speaker 1: kind words the past few weeks, especially going out and
- 11:43Speaker 1: doing things for Big ninety eight point seven and going
- 11:46Speaker 1: to Unhinged and spending time there with ang and just
- 11:49Speaker 1: all the people who are so kind and you know,
- 11:52Speaker 1: seemingly excited.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Yeah, they'll be asking me when you're not around, right.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And I'm just I'm very grateful for that. Ye know,
- 12:00Speaker 1: not everyone gets to experience that. Obviously, I work here,
- 12:03Speaker 1: so I get to kind of share this journey or
- 12:07Speaker 1: this story with you, Angie. Every day and you who's
- 12:10Speaker 1: riding in your car at work, and it's just I'm
- 12:13Speaker 1: just so grateful for all of the kind words that
- 12:16Speaker 1: have been said to me the past i don't know,
- 12:17Speaker 1: two weeks and dudes coming up and explaining what it's
- 12:21Speaker 1: like being a dad and giving me little advice and
- 12:24Speaker 1: things to watch out for, whether it's a joke or serious.
- 12:29Speaker 1: And I'm just really grateful for that. And it's kind
- 12:31Speaker 1: of weird. I remember the day I got to tell
- 12:33Speaker 1: everyone here on Big ninety eight point seven that baby
- 12:35Speaker 1: g was created. Yeah, I love that, not how but
- 12:38Speaker 1: that she was. And then it's kind of weird, it's wow,
- 12:43Speaker 1: we've made it to this point where she's due this week.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Yeah. This is what I love about you, Gabe, is
- 12:49Speaker 2: that whenever we're out in public and you see someone
- 12:52Speaker 2: who has like a baby in the stroller and the carrier,
- 12:56Speaker 2: your first thought is, I wonder if they're going to
- 12:59Speaker 2: go to school with baby g oh, And I always
- 13:02Speaker 2: think that's so sweet. Aby, you are pregnant right now,
- 13:07Speaker 2: if you're in the final stretch, if you are expecting
- 13:10Speaker 2: this week, let us know seven oh one two eight
- 13:13Speaker 2: ah one nine eight seven, who's gonna have classmates baby
- 13:17Speaker 2: going this week for Baby G. I love this.
- 13:20Speaker 1: It was kind of funny. I was outside with Winona
- 13:22Speaker 1: the other day and our neighbor, she's this nice lady,
- 13:25Speaker 1: was outside like watering her plants or something, and she
- 13:28Speaker 1: always is talking to Cory, how you doing or how
- 13:31Speaker 1: things going, And she had ass Oh, we gotta be
- 13:34Speaker 1: getting close, right, And I was saying, yeah, it should
- 13:37Speaker 1: be you know, seven ish or so days is the
- 13:39Speaker 1: actual date, so we'll see, and she was like, yeah,
- 13:41Speaker 1: our neighbor actually just across the pond, they just had
- 13:44Speaker 1: a baby. This was on like July first or second
- 13:47Speaker 1: or something.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Oh, I love this.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, I wonder if Baby G
- 13:51Speaker 1: and this kid will go to the same school. I
- 13:53Speaker 1: mean they're in the same neighborhood and they ride the
- 13:55Speaker 1: same bus.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you'd be zoned for the same school or yeah.
- 13:58Speaker 1: So it's pretty cool. But I just wanted to really
- 14:01Speaker 1: say thank you to everyone who has been so kind
- 14:03Speaker 1: to me, and all of the moms who have given
- 14:05Speaker 1: me advice, and all of the dads, And it's all
- 14:08Speaker 1: gonna sum up for all of the classes, all of
- 14:10Speaker 1: the practicing, all of the advice to where I absolutely
- 14:14Speaker 1: lose my you know what on that day and forget
- 14:17Speaker 1: everything I've ever learned or had been taught. But I'm excited.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I'm very excited to share this with you.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I'm super excited for you. The only thing that I'm
- 14:26Speaker 2: upset about it was like, You're gonna go on paternity leave.
- 14:30Speaker 2: It I have myself so rude.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I did kind of want to talk about that as
- 14:35Speaker 1: well here. So when baby G does arrive, I will
- 14:38Speaker 1: be gone for just a tiny bit. It will not
- 14:40Speaker 1: be that long, it won't be that many shows. But
- 14:42Speaker 1: you still, I believe we're gonna hear from me during
- 14:45Speaker 1: that time. It's not like I'm completely gonna go away,
- 14:48Speaker 1: So you gotta do like a daily daddy diary. Yeah,
- 14:51Speaker 1: we'll do something for sure, and then I'll be back
- 14:53Speaker 1: before you know it. It really won't be as long
- 14:55Speaker 1: as you think. It might feel like it for Angie,
- 14:59Speaker 1: for you hanging out with us. I'll be back sooner
- 15:01Speaker 1: than you think. So I just thank you for all
- 15:04Speaker 1: the kind words I've received, especially the past month.
- 15:09Speaker 3: This is am I the problem, it's me, Hi the problem,
- 15:15Speaker 3: it's me.
- 15:16Speaker 1: We'll hear one side of the story and with your help.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Decide if it's right, or if maybe you're the.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Problem, that's right, I am the problem on.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 15:30Speaker 2: This is from Dylan. Hi, guys, love listening to you
- 15:34Speaker 2: in the morning. My wife also listens on the way
- 15:36Speaker 2: to work, so I'm hoping she hears this.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Wow, we'll find out how much you're hoping after I
- 15:42Speaker 1: thank you.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I need to know if I'm the problem spoiler. She thinks,
- 15:46Speaker 2: I am. She bought a spray tanning package because she
- 15:50Speaker 2: wants to beat tan for summer. Makes sense, but this
- 15:53Speaker 2: woman lays out all the time and she's already tan
- 15:57Speaker 2: without spending money on it. Obviously she already spent the money.
- 16:02Speaker 2: But for me, it's the principle. Why would you pay
- 16:04Speaker 2: for tanning when you literally can tan for free? She says,
- 16:09Speaker 2: the spray tan is to enhance the tan. What does
- 16:12Speaker 2: that even mean? I just think this would make sense
- 16:15Speaker 2: for winter and not summer. She thinks, I'm a hater, Gabe.
- 16:20Speaker 2: I would like your thoughts first, because I already this
- 16:23Speaker 2: makes sense to me the wife's logic, So let's hear
- 16:26Speaker 2: what you have to say.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Well, first off, this seems like a very lighthearted hobby wife.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Goofy disagreement.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I don't think they're getting divorced.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Yeah, right, Every relationship has these kind of discussions. This
- 16:39Speaker 1: is a ludicrous. Dylan could not be more correct. I
- 16:42Speaker 1: could not think of a bigger waste of money. Now,
- 16:45Speaker 1: what is it? It's a like a lotion you put on.
- 16:47Speaker 1: What is it?
- 16:48Speaker 2: A spray tanning package? Like you go in and you
- 16:51Speaker 2: get spray tank.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Oh okay, how much does that cost.
- 16:54Speaker 2: For I want to say, like one hundred bucks fall
- 16:57Speaker 2: und dollars, but you get like unlimited.
- 17:03Speaker 1: One hundred dollars to be tanner. Yeah, that's insane to me.
- 17:10Speaker 1: There's no shot. Dylan, you are one thousand percent correct.
- 17:14Speaker 1: If she needs to do this in December when she
- 17:16Speaker 1: looks like the snow on the ground, fair, okay, But
- 17:19Speaker 1: in July lay in the backyard for fifteen minutes hundred dollars.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Okay, what are your thoughts? Let us know we have
- 17:29Speaker 2: this up on the big ninety eight points of a
- 17:30Speaker 2: Facebook page and you can text us call us seven
- 17:34Speaker 2: oh one two eight h one nine eight seven. Uh.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Don't let logic get in the way of someone's dreams. Okay,
- 17:41Speaker 2: that's that's a game. Glyndenism if I inspire no reason,
- 17:48Speaker 2: I this does make sense. I am somewhe I'm about
- 17:51Speaker 2: to go get a tanning package myself, if I'm being honest. Yeah,
- 17:55Speaker 2: obviously the sun can do the work. But when she
- 17:58Speaker 2: said that it enhanced is the tan? It makes it
- 18:01Speaker 2: more even which does n't haance the tand like there's
- 18:06Speaker 2: only unless you want us to lay out naked and
- 18:10Speaker 2: don't say you do want that. Okay, you can't tan
- 18:14Speaker 2: everything evenly, so like once you get a base hand,
- 18:17Speaker 2: the spray tan can just like help, you know, polish
- 18:20Speaker 2: it all off. I understand this completely, and I feel
- 18:23Speaker 2: let your wife live, Dylan. I totally understand this. It's
- 18:28Speaker 2: a both and you do it in the summer and
- 18:30Speaker 2: in the winter. Okay, that's like all that. Yeah, it's
- 18:35Speaker 2: a tanning membership. So it's like a hundred bucks a
- 18:38Speaker 2: month or whatever is usually how the packages are.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Yes, okay, but it.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Keeps her nice in tan and golden and bronzed goddess
- 18:49Speaker 2: for the entire year. And listen, I'm not gonna lie
- 18:52Speaker 2: to you, Dylan. The hotter your woman feels, the better
- 18:56Speaker 2: that is for you, if you know what A mean
- 18:57Speaker 2: wink wink, nudge, nudge.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I don't know what you mean. What are you saying, Angie?
- 19:00Speaker 2: Dylan knows. Dylan knows. What are your thoughts? Seven O
- 19:04Speaker 2: one two eight on one nine eight seven? Is it
- 19:06Speaker 2: ridiculous for Dylan's tan wife to get a spray tan package?
- 19:11Speaker 3: Dylan?
- 19:12Speaker 1: Is that wink wink, nudge nudge worth a one hundred
- 19:15Speaker 1: dollars brother?
- 19:23Speaker 2: Dylan wants to settle a debate between he and his wife.
- 19:27Speaker 2: She bought a tanning package for the summer to be tan.
- 19:31Speaker 2: He thinks that's ridiculous she should do that in the
- 19:34Speaker 2: winter because she quite literally is already tan. She lays
- 19:39Speaker 2: out all the time in the actual sun. But she
- 19:43Speaker 2: still got this tanning package to quote enhance the tan.
- 19:47Speaker 2: I understand this. Gabe is not on board.
- 19:50Speaker 1: This is insane.
- 19:51Speaker 2: What do you think is Dylan the problem for thinking
- 19:55Speaker 2: it is ludicrous to spend money on a tanning package
- 19:59Speaker 2: when quite literally it is summer and his wife is
- 20:02Speaker 2: already tan.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Yeah, one hundred dollars to get tanner is crazy.
- 20:06Speaker 2: One hundred dollars. I feel like it's worth it. It
- 20:09Speaker 2: keeps the tan consistent because let me remind you, consistent. Ya,
- 20:16Speaker 2: you know what's not consistent mother nature here in the Fymia. Okay.
- 20:21Speaker 2: And so some days there is sunshine and then other
- 20:25Speaker 2: days it's weird and you can't lay out even if
- 20:28Speaker 2: you wanted to, because it's like, oh it's sunshine, but
- 20:30Speaker 2: also weirdly raining for no reason, and that's not going
- 20:33Speaker 2: to give you an even tan. Okay, So you are right,
- 20:38Speaker 2: she I love hearing that. I'm right. I don't like
- 20:40Speaker 2: the tone in which you said is the real problem?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Sound like.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Julia commented on Facebook. Your wife is right. You are
- 20:51Speaker 2: a hater. If it makes her feel good about herself,
- 20:54Speaker 2: then support her. Just because you wouldn't do it yourself,
- 20:56Speaker 2: does it mean she can't. You probably do things all
- 20:59Speaker 2: the time. She thinks they're dumb, but she lets you
- 21:02Speaker 2: because she knows you like it, Okay, Julia, And it's
- 21:05Speaker 2: important to you coming in hot Julia.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yeah, there is a little bit of heat going on
- 21:10Speaker 1: in the comments. Julia commented that, and to an extent,
- 21:15Speaker 1: she is right. But I mean, one hundred dollars is
- 21:18Speaker 1: a lot of money in twenty twenty six. Can we
- 21:20Speaker 1: find something else to spend one hundred dollars on? Or
- 21:23Speaker 1: we're gonna spendzon this and you one of my favorite
- 21:25Speaker 1: activities of all time. Oh gosh, Dylan, here's what you do. Okay,
- 21:30Speaker 1: you let your wife's not let. That's not the right word,
- 21:32Speaker 1: but you just know what you mean, go about your way,
- 21:35Speaker 1: fine with it, Yeah, be fine with your wife spending
- 21:37Speaker 1: one hundred dollars to get Tanner and then once you
- 21:40Speaker 1: go do Call of Duty comes out in September, you
- 21:44Speaker 1: get the Vault edition for one hundred bucks instead of
- 21:46Speaker 1: the standard edition for sixty nine to ninety nine. Okay,
- 21:50Speaker 1: you just now you get to spend one hundred dollars
- 21:52Speaker 1: on something stupid. It's that simple.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Well, it's not stupid. That's where I take issues, not stupid, arguable.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Call of Duty is stupid. Don't call it stupid.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I don't know. Being Tanner and playing Call of Duty
- 22:05Speaker 1: are about in the same wave length of dumb to me.
- 22:07Speaker 2: I don't know what it's like, Gabe. You don't get it.
- 22:11Speaker 2: As someone who lives for a tan I understand where
- 22:15Speaker 2: this woman is coming from. Dylan, you know what, connect
- 22:18Speaker 2: me with your wife? Oh, he says, she listens. Dylan's wife.
- 22:22Speaker 2: You and I let's have a tanning party together.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Okay, I like this, Mary said, he's still allowed to
- 22:30Speaker 1: have opinion and thoughts on his wife's behavior. She said
- 22:34Speaker 1: that to Julia in the comments.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Which gets fiery in our contre.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it is a little bit spicy in there, which
- 22:40Speaker 1: you know, they're both kind of right. Could he let
- 22:42Speaker 1: this go? Sure? Now, let's say maybe that squad is
- 22:46Speaker 1: struggling a little bit and Dylan is thinking this one
- 22:49Speaker 1: hundred dollars could really go a long way to something else.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Then yes, all right, being tanner for one hundred dollars
- 22:57Speaker 1: is very stupid to me.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Okay, Well, Mary said, I don't feel any tanning is
- 23:01Speaker 2: healthy son or bed, but it seems like a true
- 23:04Speaker 2: waste of money to enhance a tan in this economy
- 23:07Speaker 2: of all times. Okay, Mary, you just said something. You
- 23:10Speaker 2: don't think it's healthy son or bed. If you looked
- 23:13Speaker 2: a little closer, it's spray tanning, not son or bed.
- 23:18Speaker 2: It's spray tanning, which means that's the healthier option, which means, actually, Dylan,
- 23:24Speaker 2: you should be in support that she's choosing the spray
- 23:28Speaker 2: tan and maybe don't stay out in the sun too
- 23:32Speaker 2: long because that can have harmful effects. Look how I
- 23:34Speaker 2: spinz See that's.
- 23:35Speaker 1: The spin zone for the wife to tell Dylan, hey,
- 23:38Speaker 1: I will stop going in laying outside because it's really
- 23:41Speaker 1: bad for my skin. Yeah, it's it's you know, melanoma
- 23:44Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Yes, So spray tanning is the way to go. The
- 23:47Speaker 2: membership costs what it costs, whatever. I think, Dylan, you
- 23:51Speaker 2: should just let your wife live. And if you are
- 23:54Speaker 2: still listening on your way to work, Dylan's wife, you
- 23:57Speaker 2: are not the problem.
- 23:58Speaker 1: He is. I think it all de pens. The real
- 24:00Speaker 1: answer would be it all depends on can you afford it?
- 24:03Speaker 1: And in the lighthearted nature of this email, the one
- 24:07Speaker 1: hundred dollars probably isn't necessarily going to break them or
- 24:10Speaker 1: have them living on the sill iving.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Dylan new when he wrote in at least my Blake
- 24:16Speaker 2: gable Bee on message.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Right, Dylan, you get that vault edition of Call of
- 24:20Speaker 1: Duty in October. Right, it's a one hundred bucks. You
- 24:22Speaker 1: don't get mad, you get even all right. I will
- 24:36Speaker 1: say I love living in South Fargo. It has been
- 24:41Speaker 1: a wonderful place to call home for the past one
- 24:44Speaker 1: year and nine months. South Fargo's July fourth, I'm not
- 24:48Speaker 1: even kidding you, better than any neighborhood I've ever lived in.
- 24:50Speaker 1: In my life. It is incredible on July fourth, that's
- 24:55Speaker 1: the key word there on July fourth, to watch the
- 25:00Speaker 1: firework displays and my neighbors kind of just battle it
- 25:04Speaker 1: out for the biggest, the baddest, the best. It is wonderful.
- 25:08Speaker 1: But I will say I am sorry that I am
- 25:10Speaker 1: not sorry if you are still lighting off fireworks like
- 25:13Speaker 1: I heard last night at ten thirty pm on a
- 25:15Speaker 1: Sunday night, we've officially crossed the line from patriotic to
- 25:19Speaker 1: that neighbor. Okay, the fourth of July was great. America
- 25:23Speaker 1: had its birthday. We celebrated, we grilled hopefully. The only
- 25:27Speaker 1: thing we lost was a couple eyebrows. It was beautiful.
- 25:31Speaker 1: And you know how much I love July fourth. I
- 25:33Speaker 1: think it's one of the top three best holidays of
- 25:34Speaker 1: the entire year.
- 25:35Speaker 2: You do say it all the time.
- 25:37Speaker 1: But Sunday night at ten thirty some of us had
- 25:40Speaker 1: alarm set for four Monday morning. The dog had already
- 25:44Speaker 1: filed emotional damage claims, the babies had given up on sleep,
- 25:47Speaker 1: and half the neighborhood was playing the game of firework
- 25:50Speaker 1: or did someone run into a dumpster? Can? Oh my god,
- 25:53Speaker 1: I'm all for celebrating freedom, but can we also celebrate
- 25:57Speaker 1: that freedom and still get eight hours of sleepe on
- 26:00Speaker 1: a Sunday. I'm sorry that I'm not sorry. I heard
- 26:03Speaker 1: people light not fireworks last night after ten thirty, and
- 26:05Speaker 1: to me, I live bit ridiculous on a Sunday.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I could not agree with you a little bit ridiculous.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I should not agree with you more now, someone who
- 26:14Speaker 2: celebrates her birthday for the entire month. I'm very down
- 26:19Speaker 2: for America to celebrate its birthday the entire month. But
- 26:23Speaker 2: just you know, a little quieter, do it, little quieter?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Do it at nine. I know it's not as dark
- 26:28Speaker 1: at nine as it is at ten thirty, but it's
- 26:31Speaker 1: a Sunday. Okay. You have a neighbor who has a
- 26:33Speaker 1: four o'clock alarm, and there are very few people in
- 26:36Speaker 1: South Fargo who have a four am alarm. There are some,
- 26:39Speaker 1: but very few. You know how I know that, Angie,
- 26:41Speaker 1: because every single day, when I get up and leave
- 26:43Speaker 1: my house, there's no one on the road that time. Okay,
- 26:46Speaker 1: please help me when July fourth comes around next year
- 26:50Speaker 1: and it is on a Sunday and we probably have
- 26:53Speaker 1: I don't know what we'd have off the Monday or
- 26:54Speaker 1: the Friday. Either way we'll find out then, you know what,
- 26:57Speaker 1: to your heart's content light those bad boys. Could we
- 27:02Speaker 1: just be a little bit careful on the day after
- 27:05Speaker 1: when people have to go to work. Thank you the Boukay.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Taylor Swift, Travis Kelcey. They're officially married. They've tied the knot.
- 27:17Speaker 2: They did so in a thousand guest wedding Madison Square Garden.
- 27:25Speaker 2: The looks were serving. Okay, you could see star after
- 27:29Speaker 2: star arriving in of their best looks. I mean honestly,
- 27:35Speaker 2: everybody looked fire af So that begs the question. We
- 27:41Speaker 2: do know that there were some regulars there, Okay, some peasants,
- 27:45Speaker 2: some people in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's lives who
- 27:48Speaker 2: aren't super famous. The team of Good Morning America shared
- 27:54Speaker 2: that it was such an intimate thing because also there
- 27:57Speaker 2: were like friends and neighbors and family members there. Okay,
- 28:02Speaker 2: if you are one of those people, how do you
- 28:05Speaker 2: even attempt to get dressed right for this wedding?
- 28:09Speaker 1: Right?
- 28:09Speaker 2: Jlo? Was that the wedding?
- 28:11Speaker 1: Now?
- 28:11Speaker 2: How is anybody supposed to compete with Jlo?
- 28:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you'r Taylor Swift's high school friend. Yeah, Okay, and
- 28:19Speaker 1: you work at the local clerk's office. Yeah, great job.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I'm sure you have a wonderful life. You're about to
- 28:26Speaker 1: go to a wedding with j Lou. You're about to
- 28:30Speaker 1: go to a wedding with Bradley Cooper.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Gigi Hoodid, a literal supervisor supermodel.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Yeah, how could you possibly get ready? Now?
- 28:40Speaker 2: I don't think that a little dressed from Shean is
- 28:43Speaker 2: gonna cut it right.
- 28:46Speaker 1: What would you do if you were in this situation, Angie,
- 28:49Speaker 1: Because I'll tell you as a guy, this is a
- 28:52Speaker 1: slam dunk, easiest bit of all time. Okay, you just
- 28:56Speaker 1: get yourself a nice button up, white T shirt, a
- 28:59Speaker 1: nice tie, get yourself some suspenders, a jacket, some dress pants.
- 29:03Speaker 1: You might not have a suit that costs the same
- 29:06Speaker 1: as Bradley Cooper's. Yeah, but you and Theory look the
- 29:08Speaker 1: same from a distance.
- 29:09Speaker 2: You know what, That's true?
- 29:11Speaker 1: I think you're hanging on your own.
- 29:13Speaker 2: In fashion land. There's only so much men can do
- 29:17Speaker 2: before you're getting into the territory of like the Harry
- 29:21Speaker 2: Styles who does like weird, crazy wacky fashion, you know whatever,
- 29:27Speaker 2: not that you should want to be there. I don't
- 29:29Speaker 2: love his sense of style. But you know he wasn't
- 29:31Speaker 2: even there. He was doing a concert. His fiance Zoe
- 29:34Speaker 2: Kravitz had to go on her own. Oh yeah, Zoe
- 29:37Speaker 2: Kravitz was there. Yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Another like the Nines.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I feel like it is easier for a dude for
- 29:42Speaker 2: a lady. Listen. I don't want to stick out as
- 29:47Speaker 2: the frumpy sore thumb at my friend's wedding.
- 29:50Speaker 1: It's such a way.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I don't like that. So I think I would say,
- 29:54Speaker 2: now we know she can afford it, I would say, hey, Taylor,
- 29:58Speaker 2: and maybe she did do this, we need more inside scoop.
- 30:01Speaker 2: I would say, Taylor, can you pay for me to
- 30:04Speaker 2: get a nice dress, a nice gown.
- 30:07Speaker 1: For this or do you have one laying around that
- 30:09Speaker 1: doesn't fit all that?
- 30:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure she's got an archive of fashions. But
- 30:15Speaker 2: then maybe you don't want to be the one wearing
- 30:17Speaker 2: like oh Taylor Slift.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Eighteen. Yeah, so what would you that's you would just
- 30:23Speaker 1: say hey.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Hey, I would say, would you help me? Like, girl,
- 30:27Speaker 2: you got so much money, I'm not trying to look
- 30:29Speaker 2: like a frumpy rinketing next to these people. Help a
- 30:32Speaker 2: girl out. Because also at the wedding, I think I
- 30:35Speaker 2: saw that she was like making these donations to charity.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Tons of dons of donations, millions of dollars.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Donation, you donate to charity. Your friend needs a dress?
- 30:45Speaker 1: Yeah? Can you donate to charity and your friend charity dress?
- 30:50Speaker 1: You know what's a little five what's a little five spot? Yeah?
- 30:54Speaker 2: I think you get Christian Siri Christian Siriano. He makes
- 30:58Speaker 2: you a dress and then Taylor Swift pays for it,
- 31:01Speaker 2: and then you're good. Your gol did.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Yeah, we want to know what would you do. Let's
- 31:06Speaker 1: say you're Taylor Swift's friend just from high school. You
- 31:09Speaker 1: are a regular person, just like the rest of us,
- 31:12Speaker 1: but you get to attend this star studded wedding and
- 31:15Speaker 1: you know you don't have star studded money. What are
- 31:19Speaker 1: you doing? Are you trying to hire a makeup artist?
- 31:21Speaker 1: Are you trying to do a YouTube tutorial in the mirror?
- 31:24Speaker 1: And how are you going about it? What are you
- 31:25Speaker 1: doing with your hair?
- 31:26Speaker 2: I didn't even think about the hair and the glam
- 31:29Speaker 2: aspect of it. If worse comes to worse, I would
- 31:32Speaker 2: just search up Amazon wedding dress deals, wedding guest dress deals. Yeah.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 31:41Speaker 1: If you were in this situation, are you pulling an
- 31:43Speaker 1: Angie and just going straight out asking its great for
- 31:45Speaker 1: the no shame at all, Taylor? Can you help me please?
- 31:50Speaker 1: Or are you just gonna try to work with what
- 31:52Speaker 1: you got? Let us know this morning at seven oh
- 31:54Speaker 1: one two eight zero one nine eight seven, because you
- 31:56Speaker 1: know there are a group of girls, maybe even guys too,
- 31:59Speaker 1: who have this conversation together, like, hey, we got to
- 32:02Speaker 1: go to this wedding. We've known Taylor since she was twelve?
- 32:05Speaker 1: How am I supposed to sit next to Brandley Cooper
- 32:07Speaker 1: and gg.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Hunted starting off the day with something good. This is
- 32:17Speaker 3: Gabe's good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 32:20Speaker 1: And speaking of animals, you can meet Edison, the newest
- 32:24Speaker 1: member of the Clay County Attorney's Office. Now, don't expect
- 32:28Speaker 1: this dog to argue cases. He is specifically, he's a
- 32:33Speaker 1: specifically trained facility dog whose job is helping crime victims, witnesses,
- 32:39Speaker 1: and even staff feel a little more comfortable during some
- 32:43Speaker 1: really difficult moments. Whether it's sitting beside someone during an
- 32:47Speaker 1: interview or simply offering a calming presence, Edison is already
- 32:52Speaker 1: making a big impact It's one more reminder that sometimes
- 32:55Speaker 1: the best support doesn't necessarily come with words. It comes
- 32:58Speaker 1: with four paws, a wagging tail, and a heart that's
- 33:01Speaker 1: always ready to help. I think this is so adorable.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I should get Winona into this.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you should. I love this. It is
- 33:08Speaker 2: really so true, like emotional support. Animals are real for
- 33:12Speaker 2: a reason. And I love Edison.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Let's go Edison. You know my favorite quote. If you
- 33:17Speaker 1: don't hear it is broken crans still color, and the
- 33:19Speaker 1: world is full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 33:22Speaker 1: you gotta be one.
