  [SPEAKER_00]: Crazy to think about, but hopefully the Jack Wars will be playing some extra games in 2025 and on that note.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's where you have to begin because that's where the Jack Wars have been just so dominant.

  [SPEAKER_00]: forcing turnovers on the defensive side of the ball, they have 13 forced turnovers and four games.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Three each and the first three games and then four in their most recent win against these San Francisco 49ers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Purely the number of turnovers per game, which is what, like 3.25?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Not a math major, in fact, I'm the opposite of a math major, but.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm pretty sure a 13 divided by four, yeah, 3.25, 3.25 turnovers per game is probably not sustainable.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's fair to say.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think it absolutely is.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, how are the Jaguars forcing these turnovers?

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm doing 3.25 times 17.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That would be 55 turnovers forced in one season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That'd be crazy.

  [SPEAKER_00]: How are they forcing these turnovers?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Lots of punch in at the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is something that Anthony Campanila has preached.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has taught it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has coached it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has hammered it home over and over and over and over again.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you're actually seeing it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jaguar's defenders when they arrive at the football there, punching that ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, there's been multiple opportunities that didn't go the Jaguar's way where they could actually have more turnovers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There hasn't been a ton of like lucky turnover situations.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're forcing turnovers by punching the ball out.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're getting hands on the football, you know, at the release point for the quarterback that's caused multiple interceptions this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Thinking about Josh Hines Allen against the Texans.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You think about Mason Smith last week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're getting their hands on the football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then, they're also just playing smart, communicative coverage, you're seeing, you know, Jordan Lewis baiting, a quarterback, you're seeing Eric Murray baiting a quarterback, getting a ball to pop up and then foil, you can go and get things like this are not on accident.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're being coached, they're being taught, they're playing fundamentally sound.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot going on with the turnovers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Do I think they might average more than two per game?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I do, I really do, because again, you're not only having turnovers forced in a specific way, one way.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You're doing it in all sorts of ways, as these Jacksonville jackwares, again, punching the ball out, getting a hands-on the ball at the release point for the quarterback, jumping routes, playing smart football, and then you've also got,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, the way that Anthony Campanile is coaching X's and O's wise like beyond just teaching about how to turn the ball over, um, you have as diverse of a coverage, uh,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Coverage is that you play in the league.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's highest percentage coverage right now is cover six, which is quarter quarter half.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You also have them playing fair amount of cover three.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You also have them playing some man coverage.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You also have them playing some cover four.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They are running a lot of different coverage looks and they will have post snap rotations as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They also do a lot of sim pressure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Sim pressure is where you've got bodies up the line of scrimmage, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: But you might only be a Russian for.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You don't know where those four are coming from.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That makes it very difficult.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you're marrying what you're doing up front with what you're doing on the back end and vice versa.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so I think it is being very well coached, very well drawn up by Anthony Camponella and company.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So you add the way that they're coaching, forcing these turnovers again, active hands at all levels.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then also the way they're dialing it up X's and O's wise and making it confusing and difficult for the offense to read what's happening.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, you have turnovers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then add in the fact that this is a team that has been leading almost the entirety of the season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They've been leading basically the entire season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That makes it to where your opponent is more likely to turn the football over, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: So all of these factors are leading to the Jaguar as having an incredible amount of turnovers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think that 3.25 per game is sustainable, but I do think more than two is.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I really believe that this is gonna be a team that forces maybe not every single game, but most games when you look back at this season, they're probably gonna have more than two turnovers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then you add in the fact that they stop the run.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And they stop the run really well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think part of that's coaching, part of that is, you have good linebackers that stop the run, you have good edge defenders that stop in the run to bond Hamilton's doing well, stop in the run.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Eric Romsted's a good player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: All of your secondary players are not afraid to come in and make tackles and get dirty, Tyson Campbell, obviously, Travis Hunter, your safeties,

  [SPEAKER_00]: 82.8 yards per game on the ground is top four in the league allowed.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 3.9 yards per carry allowed is top 10, but 3.9 yards per carry isn't really illustrating what the Jaguars are doing to stop the opposing rushing attack from a run game perspective.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They faced Bryce Young who did a really good job on the ground against them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: CJ Stroud and Brock

  [SPEAKER_00]: When you look at just what the Jaguars have done against opposing running backs, they are allowing only 3.4 yards per carry to opposing running backs.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That is entirely inefficient for a running game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of these situations, most of these games they've been doing even better than that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, like Christian McAfrey, only average 2.9 yards per carry.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he got his through the air.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The 49ers are going to do things against you that are going to make it difficult to win.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're a good football team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Christian McAfrey's still a really good player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But you're stopping the run at an extremely high level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: you are as diverse and coverage and your fronts as any team in the league and you communicate and you're smart and you're tough.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's a tough defense, they hit, they bring it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They want to play for their coaching staff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'd say the Jaguar's defense is sustainable again.

  [SPEAKER_00]: To the extent of three over three turnovers per game, maybe not, but I think there's gonna be a lot of games the rest of the year where they do get three turnovers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'd be very surprised if it completely falls off a cliff, so like is it sustainable at that level?

  [SPEAKER_00]: No, but are they still going to be one of the best turn over teams in football moving forward?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Offensively, you're running the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'd say that's pretty darn sustainable based on what we've seen from Liam Cohen as a head coach slash offensive

  [SPEAKER_00]: Last year with the Buccaneers, he took that team from one of the worst in the league to one of the best.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This year with the Jaguars, he's done the same exact thing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: His running game is incredible.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It helps to have guys like Buccaneerving and Travis E.T.N.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and Bacial Tutan and Rashad White and Lee Quinn Allen, yes, it does.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It helps to have tough guys up front, and I think they've got some tough guys, I think they've got some good athletes as well up front.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They've got Britain's strange too, he helps out a lot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And now you're starting to see the receivers get in on the action in the blocking game a lot more effectively.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's a big time development.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think the running game is going anywhere.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis CTN is playing the best ball he ever has.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Basial Tutan is tough and obviously extremely good athlete and when he actually gets some space, I mean he's going to be tough to deal with.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Stopping the run, running the ball, playing smart, aggressive defense, playing tough football on both sides.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'd say that's pretty sustainable.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, to reach your peak, you need to keep taking steps in the passing game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: needs to keep looking more comfortable.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He looked a lot more comfortable in week four against the 49ers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You need the army brown to come back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You need Britain's strange to keep playing well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You need Trevor Lawrence to make progress.

  [SPEAKER_00]: In this passing game, you need more vertical shots.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You need Travis Hunter to keep getting more involved.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think the Jaguars absolutely will continue to force turn our verse.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think they will continue to get pressure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think they will continue to stop the run and be diverse in their coverage looks and their front looks, especially in the clear passing situations.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think they'll continue to run the ball and then you add in a little bit of a better passing game and this could be one of the best teams in the game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You can also talk about getting a little better on special teams as well, Logan Cook and Proving, Cam Little and Proving, and these are guys that I would guess will improve because they're that talented, they're that good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, to me, and you know, the lighting has massively changed since we started this.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was a gloomy morning in Jacksonville.

  [SPEAKER_00]: To me, I do think the Jaguars are sustainable and I think that in fact that they are extremely dangerous because they could get a lot better.

  [SPEAKER_00]: think even if Trablem Walker misses some time, which we don't know what's going to happen there yet, you're going to be okay.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, eager to find out what's up with Eric Murray if he's going to be okay.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They do have Antonio Johnson, so I mean, it's not the end of the world, but Eric Murray is a really good player for them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I think the Jaguar is sustainable, and in fact, I think that there's a lot left on the table for them to improve on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited to see what they can do here moving forward and one more note on what they did against Christian McCaffrey One of his best runs was on a third and seven when the jag wars were clearly expecting the pass I mean to one smooth was lined up at defensive tackle Take away that run and he's average in like two yards per carry instead of 2.9 so again
