- 0:00Welcome to another edition of the Urancha Radio podcast where
- 0:03we talk about the fifth epical revelation, the Urancha book.
- 0:07Long time student. I'm your host been doing.
- 0:10I think we're probably over 250 episodes.
- 0:14So we're making some progress and and we still haven't even
- 0:17gotten started. I do want to tell you there are
- 0:19some things coming up. If you haven't heard, a couple
- 0:22of events, social events for your various Urancha groups
- 0:26around the world. IC 26 is coming up.
- 0:30That will be July 12th. That's the one that's out in
- 0:35California, in Monterey. What is the name of that town?
- 0:39I can't remember it. It's kind of a unusual name.
- 0:42Solaris or Solimar Solimar. Is that it?
- 0:46Solimar, SOLIMAR. That'll be on July 12th.
- 0:52Also, there's a conference coming up August 21st on
- 0:55Michael's birthday, a Day with the Angels Conference.
- 0:59And you can find some of this information is on the Center for
- 1:02unity.org website, but that's coming up.
- 1:06It will be a sacred gathering to explore the gentle whispers of
- 1:11the angels. The first conference in this
- 1:13series will focus on our planetary angels.
- 1:16Future conferences will address local Universe Angels, Super
- 1:20Universe Angels and central Universe angels and that will be
- 1:24held in San Antonio. And the event you can call
- 1:31210-288-2863. And you can talk to Katrina
- 1:38Glavin Heiss again, 210-288-2863.
- 1:44San Antonio, if, if you get it right, is a great city,
- 1:48especially if you love Mexican food.
- 1:52Anyway, that's August 21st. And that sounds nice, doesn't
- 1:56it? Again, what was that number that
- 1:58I gave you? 210-288-2863 Maybe angels will
- 2:03be there. I'm sure.
- 2:05I'm sure they will be. I know that the angels are
- 2:07trying hard. They're trying to bring peace to
- 2:11the world, that's for sure. You know, there's a whole
- 2:14section in the Urantia book about angels and what they do.
- 2:18And I often read it for comfort. I find that I, I'm, I'm more at
- 2:24ease on my home planet knowing that there are angels working on
- 2:31our behalf. So, and, and that's an uplifting
- 2:35idea. And, and a lot of people believe
- 2:37in angels. I know people who are not even
- 2:39religious and they believe in guardian angels, and that's a
- 2:43step. It's a small step.
- 2:45I like the fact that the Urantia book says the only good can come
- 2:49from knowing more about your unseen friends.
- 2:53OK, so the topic of this subject is The Cave, The Cave, Steven
- 3:00Spielberg, the Urantia book, and the silo.
- 3:03Now, what do they all have in common?
- 3:06Well, I'm going to talk about them on this program and they do
- 3:09have something in common. They there's a philosophical
- 3:12thread that runs through those four things.
- 3:16And there's a new movie out that I've been watching with my wife
- 3:19called Silo and they start their third season.
- 3:24It's pretty good, could be a lot better.
- 3:26I'm, I'm hearing that the book is really good, but it plays on
- 3:32a very old allegory really. And it's a movie with Rebecca
- 3:37Ferguson. And if you like her and Dawn or
- 3:39Dune, which I think she's fabulous, I think you'll like
- 3:43her. I think she really pulls this
- 3:44off. And it takes place in the
- 3:46future. And the scenario is that there's
- 3:4810,000 people for unknown reasons living underground in a,
- 3:53in a, in a silo that is extremely deep, big enough to
- 3:58accommodate these people. Later they learned that there's
- 4:03actually more than one silo. But for this particular silo,
- 4:07the group lives in relatively law and order.
- 4:11They have justice, they have tribunals, they have, they seem
- 4:15to have a sort of an echo of a constitutional government.
- 4:21And the people inside cannot go outside because if they, they,
- 4:26if they do, they'll die. They see that because there's a
- 4:29big monitor and all the social rooms like a window that shows
- 4:33them what's outside. And what's outside is darkness,
- 4:37deadness, dead trees, dead landscape, no life.
- 4:41On occasion when people are in desperate positions or they,
- 4:46they just feel they got to get out, they don't believe it
- 4:48anymore. People say I want to go out and
- 4:51they're allowed to go out. And then people watch them
- 4:55literally die because once they get outside, they realize, uh
- 4:58oh, I made a mistake. I thought there was something
- 5:02more. So from birth to death, these
- 5:05people believe that there is no anything else other than where
- 5:08they are. So watching that show made me
- 5:12think of Plato's Cave and from my college days when I took
- 5:17philosophy, that one of the first things you learn is The
- 5:21Cave and the whole metaphor of The Cave.
- 5:25Plato used that as as an allegory that shows that people
- 5:30can be conditioned to accept and and create an entire reality
- 5:35over the accepted notion of what they think is reality and this.
- 5:42So in a sense, they're sort of shackled in this cave and they
- 5:47see a lighted wall and they see shadows of what they imagine is
- 5:51outside of The Cave, but they do not know for sure and they can
- 5:55never leave The Cave. And except that someone does
- 6:00leave The Cave. And when they go outside, they
- 6:03are at first blinded by everything that they see.
- 6:06They see the sun and but after a while they, they come to realize
- 6:11that there is abundant life outside of cave.
- 6:16And this person eventually goes back into The Cave and tries to
- 6:19tell everyone, hey, there's something out there.
- 6:23It's beautiful. It's wonderful.
- 6:24You, you should come see it. There's things of substance,
- 6:29There's fresh air, there's beautiful flowers and tiny
- 6:33little animals that flatter their wings and they fly around.
- 6:38It's it's beyond compare. But the people in The Cave, they
- 6:43don't believe him, and they refuse to leave because they
- 6:47don't believe him and they're safe.
- 6:51And so that leads to this discussion that I have in my
- 6:55mind about the Urantia Book and why over the years so many
- 7:00people are hesitant to consider new truth or ideas or are
- 7:07hesitant to believe that a book could exist, such as the Urantia
- 7:11Book, a book coming from the other side, a book that informs
- 7:15us what is outside of our cave. And that cave is called earth.
- 7:21Now, some people don't want to leave The Cave.
- 7:24Others, those who have power and maintain status and position in
- 7:30The Cave would lose that status. Possibly, if people were to
- 7:34discover life outside The Cave, they might shift their
- 7:39priorities. They might even revolt because
- 7:42they know the truth of what is outside of The Cave.
- 7:48When the Urantia book reveals the Father's plan and informs us
- 7:53of his galactic family of spirit beings who help orchestrate the
- 7:57plan of universal progress and growth, many refuse to believe
- 8:02it. Or they've been taught that such
- 8:06reality is for children and doesn't really exist.
- 8:10They are taught this reality that life on earth is the only
- 8:14thing and the only thing that matters, and it makes people
- 8:18feel safe. It also makes people get nervous
- 8:22and restless, like me. Now, you could say the same
- 8:26thing about Christianity, a religion that helps people feel
- 8:29safe because that they know that life ultimately is in God's
- 8:33hands. And that's a shared principle
- 8:36with the Urantia book. God is centered to everything,
- 8:41not mortal man. And man, yes, has limited
- 8:45control on what we can do and how we can feel.
- 8:47And but it's so limited. It's finite and it's also short
- 8:52lived. It's understandable why people
- 8:56remain in the silo or in The Cave and why they reject people
- 9:00who try to tell them what's outside of The Cave.
- 9:03It's because of this simple fact many people prefer safety above
- 9:09all other things. Anything that threatens that
- 9:12security or safety is dangerous. The Urantia book is as much a
- 9:18wonderful document as it is a dangerous and powerful weapon
- 9:23against evil and untruth. And This is why I think it's
- 9:29easier to watch a Steven Spielberg film about ETS than it
- 9:34is to read the Urantia book, which tells us exactly who they
- 9:38are and where they are. And in every generation, there
- 9:44will be those who seek truth, and those who are just happy
- 9:48living day by day, being told what is true and what isn't.
- 9:54And it is also true. There are those who reject truth
- 9:57because it might require them to change their way of thinking and
- 10:03look at a new paradigm or a new philosophy or a new
- 10:07responsibility. It is a wondrous universe, but
- 10:12it is not for the timid. That's a quote from Q on Star
- 10:18Trek The Next Generation, but it's an appropriate one.
- 10:22It is a wondrous universe, but it is not for the timid.
- 10:25Because if we are to be the future builders of this new
- 10:30universe, and if there is a personality continuance, a plan
- 10:35that I can be a part of, limited only by my willingness to
- 10:40participate, then count me in. And such a commitment requires
- 10:47spiritual courage. It's not always easy to leave
- 10:52The Cave. It's a common thought that we
- 10:57explore on on the Urantia book, and I wanted to share it with
- 11:00you today. All right, so as you're watching
- 11:04the political stuff going on, think of this from the Urantia
- 11:08book, the Angels of Nation life. These are the angels of the
- 11:12trumpets, directors of the political performances of
- 11:16Urantia National life. The group now functioning in the
- 11:20over control of international relations is the 4th 4th core to
- 11:25serve on the planet. It is particularly through the
- 11:29ministry of this seraphic division that quote the most
- 11:33highs rule in the kingdoms of men.
- 11:37So there is that seraphic influence.
- 11:39How how do you say Jim? What do you mean?
- 11:42What are they doing inculcating trust in their hearts?
- 11:47Think about the people that are behind the scenes working to try
- 11:51to bring about a coalition because they they see that yes,
- 11:56peace is very prosperous. Ask the leaders of Katra if
- 12:01peace is prosperous. Ask the people of Saudi Arabia.
- 12:05Ask the people that are sitting in the stands of the World Cup.
- 12:11Until next time, Thanks again for stopping by the Your Rancher

- 12:31If you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to
- 12:33go back home and crawl under your bed.
- 12:35It's not safe out here. It's wondrous with treasures to
- 12:40satiate desires both subtle and gross.
- 12:44But it's not for the two men.
