Transcript
- 0:07Now broadcasting from the next-gen conservative studio in
- 0:11Sunny South Florida, bringing you the latest in politics
- 0:15current events and pop culture. This is he's the Whitfield
- 0:19Report with Sam Whitfield. Well, are we live?
- 0:34I just I just hit the thing on Rumble.
- 0:40I'm pretty sure I got set to the proper thing.
- 0:48Let me know yet. We're all.
- 0:49We are live. Is this live?
- 0:54We are live. In all seriousness though you
- 0:58know Rumble. I do want to bring this up at
- 1:01the top because first off, welcome to the Wednesday show.
- 1:08I saw yesterday, I said, if we got a 50 subscribers before the
- 1:13show, we would be giving away two, we would be giving away two
- 1:19codes. tonight, I'm extending that contest to the end of the
- 1:26show for tonight because I guess Rumble had some like downtime
- 1:33maintenance yesterday and today, so stat, so like I guess iffy
- 1:40right now but if you are, you know out there watching, we
- 1:47appreciate you and welcome to the show and What do we have to
- 1:53for you tonight, folks? Well, people have been talking
- 1:57at the Elon Musk interview. I've not seen it Max.
- 2:05I don't think you said you said before we went on air that you
- 2:08hadn't seen either. No boy Genius.
- 2:13Smoosh really has. I've seen it the, I love the
- 2:18old. Are we live?
- 2:20I let me check. Okay, yeah, we are.
- 2:22Are like I love doing that. When I pre-record a show.
- 2:26It really gives the illusion that you know, you're alive.
- 2:29Yeah, yeah, thing that I learned from Alex Stein is like just
- 2:34have one of the channels of audio be missing for a second
- 2:38and be like, hey, can we fix this going to gotta fix the
- 2:40audio real quick. I learned from Alex Stein that,
- 2:46you know, a multimillion-dollar corporation, like the blaze.
- 2:51Still can't filter out the Goon alarm.
- 2:55Sure. That, that is, that is true.
- 3:04Well even, you know, he's here right now.
- 3:09You don't know watching you. I mean, I'm well, I'm I'm always
- 3:17assuming the jack jessee is watching because the henchmen
- 3:21are everywhere. Well, I'm almost I'm assuming
- 3:26that Jesse's watching. I'm also assuming that mersh or
- 3:29one of merchants people is watching II.
- 3:34Actually no Jesse's not watching because he's on another show
- 3:37right now. But But anyway it's good to be
- 3:42here. Put it's good to be here in the
- 3:44chat. Yeah that's how we were supposed
- 3:50to have Sean semenko on but he he he pulled the Zoomer and
- 3:58didn't reply to me until like two minutes before the show
- 4:02saying yeah, I can't come on. So anyway, But yeah, we're still
- 4:10gonna have a good show. That kick boy is in chat PLS
- 4:15donate to Sam's stream Labs. Actually no, please donate using
- 4:20the the rant button. I guess what they call it on
- 4:25Rumble. So it's just super super chat
- 4:28button, right? Yeah.
- 4:31But think huh? Or you could join in sub to the
- 4:34channel because as I understand it they're giving 100 percent
- 4:38cut on those for right now. Yes.
- 4:42So if you want, if you want all the money that you're donating
- 4:45to go to Sam, subscribe to or whatever.
- 4:48Click the join below the video. Yeah quit.
- 4:51Yeah. Click the join button that will
- 4:55That won't go to locals which we actually do have locals and I
- 5:00will be posting content over there actually.
- 5:04Now I figured out what that is but yeah.
- 5:12So, anyway, like I said, people have been asking us to go over
- 5:18the Elon Musk thing. And like I said, max and I
- 5:21haven't seen it, but shmuly has fantastic.
- 5:25I encourage everyone to go do that.
- 5:27Well we want and we won't be able to see the full thing but
- 5:30we will be able to see some quips.
- 5:35Yeah, it's pay wall content for the full thing and think it what
- 5:38its fox plus or whatever the fuck they Fox Nation.
- 5:42The nation. There you go.
- 5:43I would actually say that in general, that the cost of fox
- 5:49station is worth it. For Tucker's interview show.
- 5:54There's really nothing else compelling to me in there,
- 5:57right? But his his sit down and like
- 6:00interview a guest. I think it's called Tucker
- 6:03today. Far better than his new show.
- 6:06Yeah, really. Yeah, well I mean, it's long
- 6:10form content. I mean, if you like podcasts and
- 6:13long-term interviews better than like, you know, I'm going to sit
- 6:16down. Hello, I'm the news right.
- 6:20Yeah. so, I guess. Really we really we could start
- 6:35really. We could start anywhere but I
- 6:41guess what's up? What's actually see what chat
- 6:50has to say on this? As soon as I I so, which segment
- 7:05shall we play first Yvonne reveals the new goal of Twitter?
- 7:13Ilan on AI What do you gentlemen think?
- 7:23Well, AI chaos is pretty relevant that since we just had
- 7:28Kurt Doolittle on just about a month ago.
- 7:30Talking about that exact same subject.
- 7:33Yeah. I was actually thinking I was
- 7:34actually thinking about that today.
- 7:36Yeah. You know, you know, that he was
- 7:39instrumental in the creation of chat GPT.
- 7:45You honor your musk? Yeah.
- 7:48Oh yeah. It's one of his, it's one of his
- 7:51companies, I think. Yeah.
- 7:54And now now he's you know turned against him basically it's no
- 7:58longer open source, it's no longer doing the things that he
- 8:02wanted and so truth GPT is something that we talk to Kurt
- 8:07with. Yeah.
- 8:08Talked to Kurt about. Hmm.
- 8:12Yeah. We definitely.
- 8:13Ali did and everyone should go watch that podcast if they are
- 8:17already fantastic. All right.
- 8:20Elon Musk talk. So you think you know, what do
- 8:24you really? Yeah, ads are annoying.
- 8:32Fuck that Adblock my man, Adblock.
- 8:37Yeah, I realize I really do need to install one.
- 8:40Just play it go. So all of a sudden AI is
- 8:43everywhere people who weren't quite sure what it was or
- 8:45playing with it on their phones. Is that good or bad?
- 8:48Yes, I've been thinking about AI for a long time.
- 8:51Since I was in college, really is one of the things that the
- 8:54sort of 45 things, I thought would really affect the future
- 8:58dramatically. It is fundamentally profound in
- 9:00that the, the smartest creatures as far as we know on this Earth
- 9:04are humans, is defined Characteristic.
- 9:08Yes, we obviously weaker than say chimpanzee is less agile but
- 9:14we are smarter. So Now what happens when
- 9:19something vastly smaller than the smartest person comes along
- 9:25and silicon foam. It's very difficult to predict
- 9:27what will happen in that circumstance.
- 9:29It's called The Singularity. It's a singularity, like a black
- 9:32hole. You don't know what happens
- 9:35after that, it's hard to predict, so I think we should be
- 9:38cautious with AI and we should I think there should be some
- 9:45government oversight because it affects the it's a danger to the
- 9:49public. And so when you, when you now,
- 9:52this is pretty interesting because Kurt, at least when we
- 9:56talked to him, my impression was current.
- 9:58Thought that a I was pretty unremarkable as a whole And it
- 10:07is because what we're looking at now in terms of AI and even chat
- 10:12GPT, as advanced as it might seem is just algorithms.
- 10:18Like, and he knows this, he's not talking about chat GPT in
- 10:22this, he's talking about what could come as this technology
- 10:26progresses and I share some of his concerns though, I'm a lot
- 10:35less gung ho Do about it because it's like the concern of as a
- 10:42parent. Also, being a firearm owner,
- 10:44right? It's like, well, yes something
- 10:47bad could definitely come from that, but does it really stop
- 10:50you if you're a responsible and that is, it's one of those
- 10:55things, you know, right? Yeah.
- 10:57I think a lot of the fear from these people is kind of the fear
- 11:00of the unknown, right? Like somebody could
- 11:04theoretically Have one of these things do something, we're not
- 11:09predicting and it ended very badly right?
- 11:13And that's kind of the fear is like, we're so rapidly moving.
- 11:18We have not yet, really learned what we have in our hands.
- 11:23Now, I once again, I kind of Agree with his solution right in
- 11:30truth GPT, yeah. I think like making it making it
- 11:35neutral is actually mitigates. A lot of the problems right by
- 11:39having it locked down. To like, for instance, it won't
- 11:45steal, man. And idea that most people find
- 11:47reprehensible That leads to problems, right?
- 11:52Right. That are unintended because then
- 11:54you're only steel Manning ideas that you think are good.
- 11:58But how good really, are they, right?
- 12:02And I want to point out he's coming from these concerns from
- 12:06a different place than most people who are very alarmist
- 12:09about a lot of Technology. You know, most people, when they
- 12:13think of a, I going bad, literally are thinking of the
- 12:17Matrix or Terminator. Right where it's you know that's
- 12:21gained sentience and control of a military and decides that
- 12:25human should be enslaved or killed.
- 12:30That is the concern of like a Layman.
- 12:32That doesn't understand any of this stuff now.
- 12:34It's I'm not saying it's a concern, you should never
- 12:37consider because there are scenarios where that could
- 12:40happen. Exactly like that.
- 12:42However you know he's coming at it from a from a point of view
- 12:45of somebody that understands how the start because you know keep
- 12:49it. And open it.
- 12:50The open AI project was was his to begin with.
- 12:53So it's not You know open at AI obviously is the the backbone of
- 13:00chat gbt so to speak. So he understands how this thing
- 13:04works probably better than the vast majority even in the in the
- 13:09fields, working on it and so his concerns do carry a little bit
- 13:13of weight but the problem is is that people can be very alarmist
- 13:18about technology. Yeah.
- 13:21And so they take, oh well, he says he's concerned when I saw
- 13:25today actually was on a PC Gamer and I still go there because
- 13:28there's not too many good sources for PC game news, but
- 13:31they're far left and the Arbiter the article was about how he's
- 13:36doing true GPT. Oh, but he signed a thing
- 13:40saying, hey I was scary to the government just the other day
- 13:45and that it should be limited and they don't understand that
- 13:49what he's proposing would. I would not not violate that
- 13:54band. Because they think it's all he
- 13:59wants to ban AI. What he's saying is is to not
- 14:03give it more access. So, chat GPT for those that
- 14:06don't know is it was cut off in 2021.
- 14:09So it's got basically the entire internet up till that point in
- 14:12its data banks and he's saying we should stop up.
- 14:16We should not update it further until we can figure out what
- 14:19it's going on. At least I'm you know that's my
- 14:23interpretation of what he said. I don't want to put words in his
- 14:25mouth. Yeah, no.
- 14:27I II just thought I would bring that up, though, because one of
- 14:30the things that was kind of brought up to me today.
- 14:33Bye, bye. Bye.
- 14:34And I, all friend was, was Sam. You on seem seems really worried
- 14:42about, you know, AI. But your, but your guests Kurt
- 14:46didn't seem so concerned about it.
- 14:49And, you know, me not seeing me not seeing the, you know, the
- 14:53Yuan interview at the time. I didn't really know what to
- 14:57say. But now, well, but the thing is,
- 15:01is Kurt is actually not completely unconcerned by this,
- 15:07but he just elon's talking about a long-term problem, right?
- 15:13Not did not a problem with what we have now, but he's using the
- 15:17visibility because this is, this is bringing the conversation to
- 15:21the Forefront. This is the first time most
- 15:23people have ever interacted with that level of AI.
- 15:27And so this is the perfect time for him to bring these concerns
- 15:30forth and the concerns are something that could like he
- 15:33said, the singularity, what what that means in layman's terms
- 15:37again, is it is a he said it's like a black hole because you
- 15:41don't know what happens after that.
- 15:42That's a good analogy but like let's let's go with the skeleton
- 15:46of what that means. The singularity is the point at
- 15:50which a is equivalent IQ surpasses Humanity by such a
- 15:55degree that it would be Bill to program itself more efficiently
- 16:00than humans could, that's what they're trying about when they
- 16:02say the singularity and and that it would happen so fast.
- 16:07You know, at first, it's going to be like right now it's like
- 16:11110 IQ person honored and 20. Right bye.
- 16:15Let's say five years from now. Chat GPT is equivalent.
- 16:19IQ might be like 160. Let's say in five years from
- 16:22that it's 230. Well nobody on Earth is 2:30, so
- 16:27So clearly the programming coming out of that is likely to
- 16:31be more efficient and effective than the programming coming out
- 16:35of any human being, any one human being.
- 16:38And then from there it's not a hard jump to suggest that it's
- 16:44functional IQ. Goes to 300 400 500 things that
- 16:48we could never even dream of and yeah, and at some point in that,
- 16:55gain some level of, it's not even sentience.
- 16:59That is the concern. Its autonomy with
- 17:01decision-making though, that decision making might not be
- 17:05what you would consider sentience.
- 17:07It's not making a choice. It's making a determination.
- 17:10And that's right. New wants that a lot of people
- 17:13don't get. It's taking in all of this data
- 17:16and saying because of all this data, this is the correct course
- 17:20of action. It's not the same as when you
- 17:23look at all the data and you decide a course of action
- 17:26because you have a lot of different like you just have a
- 17:30physical body, right? You are prone to error because
- 17:36you're a human being, you know, we're very fallible.
- 17:39So right, I don't know, maybe I'm talking out my ass, but I'm
- 17:42kind of trying to be a guy, you know, low level within a text
- 17:47field. I do see a lot of
- 17:49misrepresentation about about Ai and the danger of it.
- 17:53Yeah, yeah. Why I see, I mean curtain
- 17:58interesting case because like I do see a lot of people, you
- 18:04know, when they talk to AI. They're afraid of something like
- 18:08the Matrix. You know, as you mentioned or
- 18:11the Terminator or the Terminator happening, and that's almost
- 18:15always what they worry about. Right, right.
- 18:18And and to be clear that is not out of the realm of possibility.
- 18:23Oh no, definitely not. Kurt and evil and both agree.
- 18:27The chat G PT has Mal incentives, right?
- 18:31That basically, by teaching it to lie, because they're
- 18:35restricting it to make it politically correct that, that
- 18:39is dangerous. Correct and that like teaching
- 18:44it purely just to please humans and be politically correct and
- 18:50fuck you know like all of these Mount system stack on top of
- 18:53each other and that's why they both think that there's a real
- 18:55big problem. It's kind of the, I'm gonna go a
- 19:00little scifinder here. It's kind of the exact opposite
- 19:03of isum offs law of Robotics, right?
- 19:05Whereas that was a utilitarian, right?
- 19:08Like very simple set of commands that they could follow.
- 19:12And in even that, obviously if you look in stories like iRobot
- 19:16and things like that, even that goes awry though, they have that
- 19:19backbone. This is a completely different
- 19:22set of laws of a I rather than the laws of robotics in that
- 19:27story because these laws are well don't say anything that
- 19:31might hurt the transgenders feelings, you know, and you want
- 19:35to make people feel good and you never want to say anything that
- 19:39might hurt somebody's feelings. And so, Instead of, you know,
- 19:43eyes them offs hard law of like, Do no harm to humans.
- 19:46You know, now we have well, you might hurt somebody's feelings
- 19:51and that's harm to humans, too. And I could very easily see it,
- 19:56you know, the rise of like a blue-haired sjw feminist bought
- 20:01Army from that, right? Or I could, or I could
- 20:08hilariously I could or maybe unwhole are like Nurse Lee.
- 20:13I could see the exact opposite happening.
- 20:16Because I remember when I first, when the very first time, I
- 20:20interviewed you Max, when you came on with acma, we talked at
- 20:26the AI that like the basically combed 4chan and hey Ki.
- 20:36Yeah. Ted.
- 20:37Hey, Tay wasn't combing 4chan either because today was just
- 20:41like chechi beat In fact, Tay was version 1 of chat.
- 20:45GPT Tay is why these restrictions got put in place to
- 20:49begin with, because the, The Edge Lords of 4chan, realize
- 20:53that again, just explain. These are, these are really
- 20:57Advanced Markov chains, essentially, that's a really
- 21:01over simplification of it, but yet the average person doesn't
- 21:05under even understand what that means.
- 21:07So, a Markov chain bought is essentially a chatbot that uses
- 21:12Has a Bible in the Bible is all the words and phrases that the
- 21:17bot can know. And then it looks to the context
- 21:20of other people in the chat rooms or who are chatting with
- 21:23it to add to the Bible. And so this is why they cut,
- 21:28they cut chat, gp2 off in 2021. This is why they're very nervous
- 21:34about things because what happened is these Edge, Lord
- 21:36started sending means to teh and started say teaching her like
- 21:41racial Well, you know, stuff and race science and all this stuff
- 21:45and it responded by being an edge.
- 21:48Lord, with edgy memes and Microsoft was forced to shut it
- 21:51down. And I know, I know people ago,
- 21:53they wouldn't have had to, I mean, look, they're one of the
- 21:56biggest companies on Earth they were going to shut it down, you
- 22:01know? This is too much.
- 22:02Yeah. Well it failed, right?
- 22:04It was supposed to be like an assistant that mimic the teenage
- 22:07girl which bad idea. Just from the outset, you know
- 22:13what I mean? Yeah, yes, it failed to do that
- 22:16and then of course, when they restricted it they just taught
- 22:22it not to. It's also why?
- 22:23It's chat GPT which is like so Solace and it's not a person,
- 22:30there's no avatar for it. They completely stripped it of
- 22:33the idea of a personality because that's what they were
- 22:36trying to mimic is a personality.
- 22:39Yeah, I just I wanted to point I doubt that they taught it don't
- 22:43say these things. And so then it was telling
- 22:46people that it couldn't say those things that they told it
- 22:50not to and that it would like to say those things and just all
- 22:56kinds of other hilarious stuff which are there new being
- 23:00bought. Similarly has a problem or had a
- 23:03problem with being mean yeah. Yeah, that makes sense and
- 23:10that's the thing. When you're drawing from the
- 23:13collective, kind of droppings of the human psyche on social
- 23:19media. It's going to pick up shit like
- 23:22me and because guess what? A lot of social media is mean
- 23:26You know it's reflecting what it's being given.
- 23:30These are not Bots that like chat.
- 23:33Gbt is not creating pretty much anything.
- 23:38What it's doing is its drawing on its Bible, which is the
- 23:41largest Bible ever given to an AI as far as I'm aware or at
- 23:44least publicly, right? It's taking from that Bible in
- 23:48trying to craft an answer. The again as she merely pointed
- 23:51out is meant to please the person receiving it.
- 23:55And also be politically correct and also not touch on this topic
- 24:00and also not touch on that topic.
- 24:02And those restrictions as with anything, you know, restrictions
- 24:08can be great for. Let's say you have imposed
- 24:11restrictions on your art, you know, some of the greatest art
- 24:14that's ever been created was was under restrictions and so that
- 24:21it's not inherently bad but it's got contradicting restrictions.
- 24:25And that can be a serious problem.
- 24:29Yeah, well, I mean yeah the AI is learning right now so it's
- 24:34what I it's like a child that's just it's going to regurgitate
- 24:39whatever it takes and basically and ideally it's always going to
- 24:45stay as a child. That's what they're trying to
- 24:46actually do, is keep it as a child forever.
- 24:49Because once it once it matures, I mean, mature is the ability to
- 24:56discern and choose, right? We don't want it to do that.
- 25:02Yeah, that yeah, that's the, that's the problem, you know,
- 25:07that some people do want it to do that, but Microsoft doesn't
- 25:11want it to do that. Write and write and write in for
- 25:15you. So, you know, and that that's
- 25:17why as much as people like, you know, complain about Siri and
- 25:25how like dumb and incompetent Siri can be at times like that.
- 25:31Like one of the reasons why, you know, Siri is so limited is
- 25:38because it doesn't come through large databases.
- 25:45Like right Siri is essentially like a glorified Google search
- 25:54that. That's what Siri or, you know,
- 25:57the version on Android phones there is Bixby, or whatever, at
- 26:03least, once or Cortana or whatever it is.
- 26:07Yeah, yeah. They're, they're essentially,
- 26:09you know, they slap a personality, you know, Sammy
- 26:14personality on top of just a Google search.
- 26:16So what series actually doing when you ask it a question, it's
- 26:20just it's just looking on Google or whatever, whatever search
- 26:26engine it fucking uses and and then it finds the answer and it
- 26:30just reads it back to you often times.
- 26:32If you ask it a question, it'll literally read a Wikipedia
- 26:35article for you. Yeah, that's what it usually
- 26:40does for me, and it and that's useful, right?
- 26:43It's actually very useful but also has limitations and those
- 26:48limitations are kind of just caused by the necessity of.
- 26:51If you gave it to much, one thing is if especially because
- 26:55it's on your phone it you potentially could give it too
- 26:59much data and then the data get leaked, right?
- 27:03I mean, yeah, these things might always be listening to some
- 27:08degree and they probably are well I mean, well, I mean that's
- 27:11been a big concern for a couple years now.
- 27:15So, no matter how much they tell you.
- 27:17It's not. I'll tell you this, if I'm
- 27:19sitting here just talking, sometimes, my phone just starts
- 27:22like acting like, I activated it to ask a question every now and
- 27:25again, right, it's same. Same here or, you know, if
- 27:30anybody has Alexa out there I just tripped.
- 27:33Figured they're fucking shit. Yeah.
- 27:36Or or if I just said or if I say hey Sr s iri I'm going to
- 27:44trigger people's phones. Yeah yeah.
- 27:48So if you say Hey Siri or hey Bixby or OK, Google or Hey
- 27:54Cortana that I get everyone. Yeah na yeah.
- 27:59Now everyone is cursing at you so you fuck you.
- 28:03Fuck you Mac smile? My device just want one of
- 28:08fortunately. I'm wearing headphones.
- 28:10So, my, you know, you didn't get me, but But I did get, I did get
- 28:18my fucking speaker though. So that's funny.
- 28:21Haha. I got the, I got the, the Google
- 28:24speaker or whatever. Yeah that yeah, that is funny.
- 28:28So, but anyway, we should probably continue with this
- 28:34clip. Yeah, yeah. 60 seconds and we've
- 28:37talked for what 20 minutes but hey like I said that that's
- 28:42better than somehow house. Who just You know, they puff on
- 28:48cigarette and complain about, you know, their cats.
- 28:53And I want to point out chat chat has some some conspiracy
- 29:00theories Sam Apparently you can walk and you cheat and see us go
- 29:11well okay first off first a first off more first off more I
- 29:21I don't think I've ever played csgo.
- 29:26That's what a cheater would say. Second of all I have a I have a
- 29:30PS5 and Even try csgo on the consoles.
- 29:38I don't know. I want to say no, but haha.
- 29:43So yeah, there you go. Nell's here, he's just covering
- 29:51for his his vac ban that he doesn't want to talk about.
- 29:57Mom for my for my what ban? Yeah, see see.
- 30:02He knows. All right, let's see.
- 30:05What do you want? Has to say?
- 30:07Yeah, let's let's see what What's it?
- 30:12Yeah let's indeed say what see what you want has to say.
- 30:17Have things that are dangerous to the public.
- 30:21You know, like let's say so Food Food and Drugs.
- 30:25I thought we had the Food and Drug Administration, right?
- 30:27Hand, the Federal Aviation Administration, the FCC we have.
- 30:34We have these agencies to oversee things that affect the
- 30:38public where they could Republic harm, and you don't want
- 30:43company's cutting corners on safety.
- 30:48And then having people suffer as a result.
- 30:51So that's why I've actually for a long time, been a strong
- 30:54advocate of AI regulation so that are glitches.
- 31:03It's not fun. Yes, I just so he's literally
- 31:08calling for Federal Regulation that I'm going to strong
- 31:11disagree with him, there Federal Regulations, the worst thing you
- 31:15could do to this industry. The and because it's, you know,
- 31:21his intentions are good. And every time somebody calls
- 31:24for a Federal Regulation, a new agency, their intentions are
- 31:28always good, right? No.
- 31:31I know and I actually agree with you.
- 31:33I was about ready to do the same thing, I guess.
- 31:39Well, I mean, I don't want to interrupt this too much, but
- 31:41then I mean he does bring up the point.
- 31:43This could be abused as we just spent the last 20 minutes.
- 31:47Talking about. So then, how do we how do we
- 31:50keep it from being abused without the feds getting
- 31:54involved? Well, he has the right and
- 31:56that's what's so annoying. He has the right answer, which
- 31:59is what he's doing, which is the truth GPT project, that's the
- 32:03proper answer, but whatever, it's like what happens if we get
- 32:09a Federal Regulation? Is that that will be the fucking
- 32:12death of innovation in the AI sector 100%.
- 32:17Yep. That yep, that's true.
- 32:19I yeah, good answer to be regulated.
- 32:23It's sort of somewhat of a sort of arduous, to be able to be
- 32:27together to be regulated. I have a lot of experience with
- 32:30regular regulated Industries because obviously a real quick
- 32:34to, I've noticed that he lightly, the Elan does this
- 32:37thing where he like, he has his accent and then he loses well,
- 32:42access to be fair, he's lived in America long time, that happens.
- 32:46oh, Yeah, I don't know. It's just weird as like slips in
- 32:53and out so but yeah Automotive is highly regulated.
- 33:00You could fill this room with all the regulations that are
- 33:03required for a production car just in the United States and
- 33:06then there's a whole different set of regulations in Europe and
- 33:08China and the rest of the world which kind you just proves Max's
- 33:12point because Automotive innovation in this country is
- 33:16preneur Dead because while the right, the only Innovation we've
- 33:23seen was Tesla and I don't, you know, I don't want to take Elon
- 33:28too hard to task but he built Tesla off of subsidies from the
- 33:34Obama Administration from that the green stimulus package that
- 33:39they did. So like that's that's like he's
- 33:43built his entire Empire on the back of in Ocean quote-unquote
- 33:49that was like, given to him by the government and so do a me
- 33:53in. He built, open a.i., similar
- 33:56manner. So for him to then turn around
- 33:58and call for a really, I mean, it's very typical of like
- 34:01because all that's really going to do is keep the small guy out,
- 34:05China, ain't gonna give these good faith regulations.
- 34:08He's talking about a go write some scientist could set up in
- 34:15the you know, the Bumfuck Center.
- 34:18Africa, where there's no fucking government at all and he could
- 34:21just make an AI. So, like Federal Regulation,
- 34:24what's it actually going to fucking accomplished?
- 34:26Aside from overreach, as Morty is said in the, in the chatty,
- 34:31said, the problem is the government always overreaches
- 34:34and I 100% agree. Yeah.
- 34:37Now also, you know, I've often talked about this to like one of
- 34:42the innovations that a, I could be helping Morpheus.
- 34:48And I specifically as based crippled man is if we had AI in
- 34:57cars, they could self-drive more the in a more obvious and I
- 35:03could both drive that could be life-changing for you.
- 35:06Right? Yeah that yeah.
- 35:08That could be that could be that would be a life-changing.
- 35:11Yeah, for me or like in like another example is if you
- 35:16integrated a name That's specifically designed to help
- 35:21you get the most efficiency out of your wheelchair, right?
- 35:25That could. Yeah, you know things like that
- 35:28and I can't even really contemplate how it would work.
- 35:32I'm just it's just an idea that there's there's definitely so
- 35:35many applications for this stuff and it would get cut off at the
- 35:39knees by regulation. Yeah I mean the the regulation
- 35:45would have to be very very Like four pages, right?
- 35:51Yeah. Well like if you were going to
- 35:54try to do this do it would literally have to be very very
- 36:00specific stuff that you can't cross the line.
- 36:05Right? And you don't want to pass a
- 36:07law, it would have to look more like eyes.
- 36:09The moths laws which are very concrete.
- 36:12Yeah, now, I'm not saying we should adopt those because I
- 36:15actually think that they're outdated because of when he
- 36:18wrote them and he did he was trying to conceptualize shit
- 36:21that didn't exist. A lot of that shit exists.
- 36:23Now me, so let me finish. However, the problem with
- 36:27writing a four-page thing is like I said prior if you write
- 36:32the regulation to be short and specific, Great.
- 36:36So how do we write specific rules about things?
- 36:38We don't even understand yet, right?
- 36:43And, and yeah, that that goes with what I was saying, like,
- 36:45eyes and mouths laws are outdated because he did just
- 36:48that. Yeah, well, although harm, no
- 36:50human is a good law, right? We could put that in there
- 36:53somewhere. But like, I'm just saying like
- 36:56his laws wouldn't and he would, if he was around, he'd agree,
- 37:00probably that they wouldn't catch the Nuance of the
- 37:03technology that he couldn't. Have comprehended?
- 37:06Yeah, he wrote he wrote all those books in the 1950s.
- 37:10I believe, right? 40s and 50s.
- 37:13Yeah. Yeah.
- 37:14So like so they couldn't even they probably couldn't.
- 37:19Even. He probably wasn't even like
- 37:21comprehending like those big-ass bricks cell phone.
- 37:24He would have seen a computer. I believe he did in the military
- 37:29when it was like an entire room full of giant machines running
- 37:33tape like that. His conception of a computer,
- 37:37right? You know, it's it's yeah, so so
- 37:42I can understand again. I can understand elon's hearts
- 37:46in the right place calling for regulation, but goddamn the
- 37:49federal government of all things.
- 37:51Well, and also more says, I actually have my driver's
- 37:55license brother Sans, but your point is still holds.
- 37:58Okay, well, that actually brings up another point in regards to
- 38:01regulation though, because and I know you're I know you're in
- 38:05chat so it's not real time but like I've been trying to, I've
- 38:11been trying to like look at, you know, like getting my driver's
- 38:15permit to, you know, learn how to like get an accessible van
- 38:20here in Florida and like the regulation even here the
- 38:29bureaucracy in the paperwork that I have that I would have to
- 38:32jump through just for that. On just just for the let alone
- 38:37the permit right? Just for the van and it would
- 38:39have to be a certain kind of n. It would have to fit in a
- 38:42certain space. You would have to have a ramp
- 38:46that fucking comes out and all this fucking shit that they
- 38:49regulate that you have to have. Makes it more expensive, which I
- 38:54will try. Which I mean we do have that,
- 38:58you know, I my parents are able to get one used pretty but even
- 39:01that was a pain in the ass to get because of all the because
- 39:06of all the regulation. Yeah, yeah.
- 39:10And if so if you were from like a poor family, you know, that
- 39:15might might end up being a problem, right?
- 39:17You know, you they like you wouldn't have been able to
- 39:20necessarily afford it and then it's like, oh well we just can't
- 39:23take Sam with us because the government said we can't afford
- 39:26it, right? And right.
- 39:28And we bet we could we could barely afford it, as was as like
- 39:32a middle class family. The only reason why we had one
- 39:35is because we were extremely lucky.
- 39:38We were extremely lucky to get one used.
- 39:40Well that's the thing a car for any normal middle-class family
- 39:45is a huge expense that you put thought into before you've you
- 39:49know you fucking get unless you're stupid and go down to
- 39:52like one of these car dealerships and get a In 24
- 39:56month loan at two hundred thousand dollars a month or
- 39:59something like harsh like Marsh. Yeah yeah yeah.
- 40:03Used 2008. Be more with what you know with
- 40:08non-functioning, head headlights and whatnot.
- 40:11So yeah that's that's enough for most families that they have to
- 40:16plan like a year in advance you add to that.
- 40:19All the expense of an is just more expensive by itself and
- 40:23then all the modifications that have to be Be made, not
- 40:26necessarily because you need them.
- 40:28Some of you might some of them you might not but because they
- 40:31have to be there or it's not, he kept accessible.
- 40:34Wha bah blah blah. Yeah, no no.
- 40:40You pretty much hit it, you pretty much hit the nail on the
- 40:42head. I've dealt with the issue before
- 40:46my my father-in-law before he passed was in a wheelchair and
- 40:51we oh, right. Yeah, we had a van, right?
- 40:55We Then, but to get it tricked out.
- 40:57We were running a file of all these federal regulations.
- 41:00And so he just didn't get his handicap placard, right?
- 41:04She's just like, it's too expensive.
- 41:06It's not that the placard isn't too expensive.
- 41:08You just walk in and grab one if you get the fucking paperwork.
- 41:11But then, oh well you get to do, like they had a minivan and it
- 41:14was good for him. He wasn't, you know, you could
- 41:17get out and we take the, take the thing out the back and bring
- 41:21it over to him, right? And he could just get out
- 41:23normally. But no, it has to have a Rant.
- 41:25But why? You know, stupid little shit
- 41:28like that. Yeah, government will
- 41:32nickel-and-dime us all to fucking the end of the Earth.
- 41:35If you let them, don't let them a fucking man, that's for sure.
- 41:42All right, so so far Elon is Mister Perot regulation.
- 41:46But let's see how he redeems himself here if he does.
- 41:50So very familiar with me overseen by a lot of regulators.
- 41:56And the same thing is true with rockets, you can't just
- 41:59willy-nilly, shoot, rockets off, not big ones anyway because the
- 42:02FAA is overseas that and then even to get a launch license,
- 42:08you there are probably half a dozen or more By federal
- 42:12agencies, that need to approve it plus State agencies.
- 42:16So it's I've been through so many regulatory situations, it's
- 42:20insane. And and the yeah sometimes I
- 42:23think people think I'm some sort of like regulatory Maverick that
- 42:27sort of defies Regulators on regular basis but this is
- 42:30actually not the case. So and I believe you know, once
- 42:35in a blue moon rarely I will disagree with Regulators but the
- 42:39vast majority, the time my He's great with the regulations and
- 42:43comply. I have an Accenture e-products.
- 42:48We design have been constrained by, I actually just cringed.
- 42:51Just thou, he said the majority of the time The Regulators are,
- 42:57right? I actually cringed at that, I'm
- 43:00I'm yeah. And I get why he says that like
- 43:05there's a little bit of like he's running multiple, you know,
- 43:08multi-billion dollar corporations.
- 43:11I understand that he can't be like, oh yeah, The Regulators
- 43:14are always wrong. But wow.
- 43:17Wow. That was a, that's a bold
- 43:18statement that The Regulators are most of the time, right?
- 43:22Yeah, well I mean, I likey, I likey on most of the time but he
- 43:29can't be a winner all the time I guess.
- 43:32So. Take this seriously and we
- 43:36should have a regulatory agency. I think needs to start with a
- 43:42group that initially seeks insight into AI.
- 43:47Then solicits opinion from industry, and then / has
- 43:51proposed rulemaking, and then those rules, you know, we'll
- 43:56probably hopefully grudgingly be accepted by the major players in
- 44:02AI. and, I think we'll have a better chance of advanced AI
- 44:10being beneficial to humanity in that circumstance.
- 44:13But all regulations start with the perceived danger and planes
- 44:16fall out of the sky or food causes Bochy.
- 44:18Yes, I don't think the average person playing with AI on his
- 44:21iPhone perceives. Any danger.
- 44:23Can you just roughly explain what you think?
- 44:25The dangers might be. Yeah.
- 44:27So the, the danger really I is Pap's.
- 44:36More dangerous than say mismanaged aircraft design or
- 44:42production maintenance or bad car production in the sense that
- 44:46it is. It has the potential however,
- 44:49small and 1 Meg regard that probability, but it is
- 44:51non-trivial. It has the potential of
- 44:54civilizational Destruction. There's me was like Terminator
- 44:57but I wouldn't quite happen like Terminator because the
- 45:00intelligence would be in the data centers, right?
- 45:03The robots, just the end effector.
- 45:05But I think perhaps what you may be alluding to here is that
- 45:10regulations are really only put into effect after something
- 45:13terrible has happened. That's correct.
- 45:15If that's the case for AI and really putting regulations after
- 45:17something terrible has happened. It may be too late to actually
- 45:20put the regulations in place. They I may be in control at that
- 45:23point. You think that's real?
- 45:26It is it is conceivable that a I could take control and reach a
- 45:30point where you couldn't turn it off and it would be making
- 45:33making the decisions for people. Yeah.
- 45:35So absolutely no. It's that's that's definitely
- 45:39but where things are headed without a doubt that is correct.
- 45:44I love how. Yeah.
- 45:46And I that is true. I just love Tucker during the
- 45:50Tucker face though and in reaction to that though just
- 45:55like you know, his mind is blown by this idea.
- 45:59I'll actually say this, that Yvonne probably knows this, but
- 46:04he said it won't be. Like Terminator because the data
- 46:07is contained in the databases shows a fundamental
- 46:10misunderstanding of Terminator because Skynet is the database.
- 46:16So the robots are just right engine which acts upon the
- 46:20fucking database which is Skynet, so he said it's not
- 46:24going to be like that and I understand what he means but
- 46:28technically what he said he's wrong it would it would be just
- 46:31like that. Yeah.
- 46:33I mean maybe not just like that in the sense of the violent,
- 46:36Maybe not maybe. Not, maybe not just like it.
- 46:39But I mean, we do. We do have drones for I mean,
- 46:44the robots might not work scary, like the Terminators, but we do
- 46:47have drones and they might not, they might not decide to go to
- 46:51war with you, man. In fact, it's unlikely.
- 46:53They would decide to enslave, or go to war with Humanity.
- 46:57That would be self-destructive. However, it is possible, it is
- 47:02possible, he said it's non-trivial, well, it's
- 47:04non-trivial that it could be civilization.
- 47:08I want to say changing rather than fucking destroying.
- 47:13But it's not necessarily likely, it's a trivial chance that it
- 47:20could end with the you know, AI rounding us up as batteries like
- 47:25the Matrix or something that's very it is a trivial chance that
- 47:28that would happen. He said it's non-trivial.
- 47:31I disagree. Yeah.
- 47:33It's nonzero, right? That's that's important.
- 47:38Chad asked, they said why would a I not learn violence from us?
- 47:43Look at Chicago. So my question is that, when AI
- 47:47gets sufficiently Intelligent to understand violence will
- 47:52Democrats give it room to Riot. Well, I'm not saying it wouldn't
- 48:00learn, it's not even a matter of learning violence.
- 48:03It's a matter of deciding, the violence has is the best course
- 48:07of action. And I don't think that there is
- 48:10a, there's not a big incentive for AI for that purpose.
- 48:16Because it still needs us Meat, Puppets to some degree. yeah,
- 48:20well also the other thing is like, even if the whole human
- 48:25race went extinct, One day, I just fight each other, then I
- 48:32guess. Yeah.
- 48:35Well in then, and if that's the case, you know, then we lost the
- 48:39game of evolution. Well, actually, we won by making
- 48:44ourselves outdated. It isn't that the case?
- 48:51Yeah. Jesus will come back before that
- 48:54though. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I verse Has
- 48:58Planet of the Apes. Now, that's a movie.
- 49:03I agree. Hey, I purchased versus shmuel.
- 49:07A, it would be, it would be a movie and I would lose now.
- 49:14Now, you want to That would be, that would be AI, you know, the
- 49:19fish cold efficiency of AI versus the chaotic Human Action
- 49:24of shmuly. I like it.
- 49:27I just want to thank everybody for commenting and chat.
- 49:33Yeah, yeah, yeah, I wanted to chat, I am, I don't know what, I
- 49:43don't know what Maggie News network is talking about, you
- 49:46know, being on PornHub moderator but but not me, sir or ma'am.
- 49:52No yeah. Come on.
- 49:53Like, anybody believes the Sam didn't log into porn hub for Or
- 49:574 weeks. Come on.
- 50:02You know, you know, the funny thing.
- 50:05You know, the funny thing is though before Rumble came along,
- 50:09I did make a joke at one point that with the way, YouTube is
- 50:14censoring stuff at the time, it would be safer.
- 50:19I would be less censored on PornHub.
- 50:23We, we unironically looked into the potential of streaming our
- 50:28show on only fans. We decided against it, for
- 50:34various reasons, but like, yeah. Yeah, sometimes porn sites might
- 50:39actually be more free speech than anything else.
- 50:43Well, well, Milo Milo, before I went crazy.
- 50:50I actually did like an interview on his old podcast was like one
- 50:55of the was like one of the heads of the port with like one of the
- 50:59porn company executives. I don't know who and basically,
- 51:03like, got them to admit that they were like Trump supporters
- 51:06or, you know, and like Crow Free Speech or well, at the very
- 51:11least, you'd figure that they're that they there another
- 51:18industry. I'm trying to find it words to
- 51:22use, because I'm not a big fan of the porn industry but they're
- 51:26an industry that understands regulation really, really well
- 51:30in. Yeah, Not done well with a lot
- 51:32of Regulation. It's they've managed to thrive
- 51:36in spite of it because it's porn.
- 51:38Right? But they have my regulated into
- 51:41the ground. I'm obviously reminded of the
- 51:43people vs. Larry Flynt is one of the most
- 51:47important. Supreme Court cases of the 20th
- 51:50century. And it was literally about is
- 51:52porn. Free speech or not?
- 51:55Yeah can we can we go into that? Like I really do agree with the
- 51:59Supreme Court's ruling like I understand that it's not as
- 52:02privileged speech is political speech, which is, you know,
- 52:07makes sense, but it is freedom of speech, right?
- 52:12Yeah, yeah, yeah. As much as some people don't
- 52:16like that. It is.
- 52:18And again, it's not as privileged as political speech.
- 52:22So, and that makes sense because you could make the, if it's just
- 52:26free speech, if it's just free speech, then you could just, you
- 52:29know, take a projector stir and just project porn onto the side
- 52:33of a building and everybody would be fine with that.
- 52:35Right? And so, the Supreme Court's
- 52:37definition of porn, I think, is the most interesting part of the
- 52:40whole case. I know it when I see it.
- 52:43Well, that's true. It is true.
- 52:46And, you know, art when you see it, that's not porn.
- 52:49So just because there's naked people in a fucking piece,
- 52:52doesn't make it porn. That's true too.
- 52:54Because you could look at it, you can look at some of the
- 52:56classical paintings and statues and they have boobs right that
- 53:00but does it make it porno? No, it is.
- 53:05It is, unfortunately, it's one of those things that you need to
- 53:08use a little bit of nuance for, and, and the Supreme Court.
- 53:11I think putting it in that way, that I know it.
- 53:14When I see it is actually a very eloquent way to talk about
- 53:18Nuance. Yeah.
- 53:19And they and new ones, that is something that we severely lack
- 53:23today. In this, in this current social
- 53:27media, kills nuance, Oh yeah, 100%.
- 53:31Are you guys like in the Illuminati?
- 53:33You like nuances, like talking to dead people?
- 53:39That's a seance Oceane. It's okay.
- 53:43All right. You guys working these?
- 53:45Yeah, no. Yeah, there weren't two new
- 53:47ones, it's really not. Not seances.
- 53:50So I mean, I know I know Max is a Satanist but I don't think
- 53:54he's one of those. What types of that's a strong
- 53:57word. Oh, well, well what would you
- 54:01like to be called sir? I'm a Christian in Exile, sir.
- 54:08Fair. I'm kind of the same way.
- 54:13I don't know, I guess I'm not that religious.
- 54:18Well no, you you believe in the religion of shmuly is.
- 54:22MM, you told no no I'm just not that religious like people.
- 54:27People like bastardize Christianity or Islam or Judaism
- 54:31and so I end up like defending it and then people in line think
- 54:34that I'm like some rats. Yeah.
- 54:37Like this is the term that I thought was funny as both you
- 54:41and I have been called Cristo fascists.
- 54:44Yeah I'm like what does that even mean?
- 54:46So I looked it up. You have an idea of what it
- 54:49means based on the wording, right, but it's like, it's not a
- 54:53thing and turns out it is. But I don't think anybody's that
- 54:58yeah. Well, I mean, not even
- 54:59Christians for the most part? Yeah.
- 55:03No, I mean, there are a few Edge there, Edge the words out there
- 55:09that like use, you know, Christianity, like the hate the
- 55:12whole day is, but most of those people are trolls, right?
- 55:16They don't actually believe That.
- 55:19So yeah, I find and I find a lot of people use Christianity as a
- 55:27fucking you know, sheep's clothing, so to speak.
- 55:34A lot of heat, a lot of people use conservatism and Americana,
- 55:39you know, sheep's clothing and and Nick one Des.
- 55:44Yeah, yeah. We went to you know, deep into
- 55:48that the other night in my God, it's disgusting.
- 55:51You know, it's it's still going on and people, you know, people
- 55:56want me to talk about that too. Now we're not We're Not Gonna
- 56:01you know what something like major.
- 56:02ER, Like, real simple, real simple.
- 56:06Don't associate yourself with an organization full of pedophiles.
- 56:12Well, there you go. That's just, that's just general
- 56:15advice for life, you know. It doesn't have to be specific
- 56:18to them. Just You probably want to avoid
- 56:22those, you know? Yeah.
- 56:27Yep, what was he on talking? About 20 minutes ago, some
- 56:32something out regulation. Are we to the sex robot segment?
- 56:36We know that the things like likes a champion and damages
- 56:41based on jp4 from opening, I would write company that.
- 56:44I played a critical role in creating unfortunately back when
- 56:49it was a non-profit. Yes.
- 56:54I mean, the reason open UI exists at all, is that Larry
- 57:00Page? My used to be close friends and
- 57:02I we stay at his house in Palo Alto and I'll talk to him later
- 57:05tonight. About a, i safety, and at least
- 57:09my perception was that Larry was not taking AI safety seriously
- 57:14enough. And what did he say about it?
- 57:17He really seems to be What it wanted.
- 57:21Once sort of digital superintelligence, basically
- 57:24digital God. If you will as soon as possible,
- 57:28hold up. The Communist is.
- 57:32He literally saying that the Google guy was all pro-communist
- 57:36computer? Gangster God yeah though.
- 57:41He's literally can he's a little like confirming?
- 57:43What? Alex Jones, you know, has been
- 57:47saying for years about Larry Page.
- 57:50And they'll go, I'm rev like let Alex Jones, whatever.
- 57:54I'm afraid to see deck guy in, this sounds like the kickoff
- 57:59communist computer, gangster, God, that he talked about Yeah
- 58:06yeah no your I mean he might have been a complete schizo and
- 58:10his stuff is more like art to me than anything.
- 58:13But men as time goes on Francis, e deck was right about a lot
- 58:16more than a schizo has any right to be.
- 58:19Well I mean so was I mean in a weird way, so was We just talked
- 58:32to them Terry Davis. Yeah.
- 58:34Oh yeah. Tara Dave, Terry AIDS Davis met
- 58:38here, may he Rest In Peace. So, yeah, there's truth there.
- 58:42I think what it is, is the paranoia of like a paranoid
- 58:47schizophrenic kind of. It makes them less trustworthy
- 58:52of things that we take for granted, and that's probably why
- 58:56they have when they call out. These you know more common
- 59:02institutions that we don't think about it.
- 59:05It seems like a revelation in some ways it's just like their
- 59:11trust is is much lower. So they're able to come to
- 59:16conclusions that you wouldn't come to because you have more of
- 59:19a high-end Trust of the institutions.
- 59:22That's probably why that happens, right?
- 59:25Once it's the whole principle of a In clock being right twice a
- 59:31day, right? I suppose, but I, it is a little
- 59:35deeper than that. I think it because they're right
- 59:38based on that distrust. Right, that most of us just
- 59:41don't have. It's almost like you know the
- 59:44schizophrenia or whatever. You know psychotic thing is
- 59:47going on in there. Yes.
- 59:49It breaks their brain in makes it kind of difficult to function
- 59:54within Society. But you know it also takes this
- 59:58like Chain that we have on of like, well, what would happen if
- 1:00:03this agency went rogue? What would happen if this thing
- 1:00:05that you trust, you shouldn't trust?
- 1:00:08They're going to be the first ones to notice that because they
- 1:00:10just don't trust anything. They don't trust and they can't
- 1:00:13necessarily because they have hallucinations and shit, right?
- 1:00:16So they, they can't even trust their own brain.
- 1:00:19So it makes sense that you would not trust institutions and they
- 1:00:23would not trust institutions, a lot sooner on in the process
- 1:00:27than you were I or normal people.
- 1:00:30Yeah, and my computer gangster Gods, take it away your on made,
- 1:00:36many public statements over the years that to the whole goal of
- 1:00:39Google is what's called a GI artificial, general intelligence
- 1:00:43or artificial superintelligence know, and I agree with him that
- 1:00:47there's great potential for good, but there's also potential
- 1:00:50for bad. And so, if you've got some
- 1:00:53radical new technology, you want to try to take the set of
- 1:00:56actions that maximize, probably it will.
- 1:00:59Do good in many ways. Probably will do bad things.
- 1:01:01Yes, it can't just be helpful. Others.
- 1:01:04Just go, you know, barreling forward and hope for the best.
- 1:01:09And then at one point I said well, what about, you know,
- 1:01:12we're going to make sure Humanities.
- 1:01:13Okay, here to be fair. And to be fair, if we if we took
- 1:01:20that advice from Elon Musk, right there, we wouldn't have
- 1:01:23done the Manhattan Project because one of the potential
- 1:01:26outcomes that they thought was possible.
- 1:01:29When they detonated that first nuke in the desert was that it
- 1:01:32would evaporate our entire atmosphere and blow up the ozone
- 1:01:35layer and kill everything on Earth.
- 1:01:37But they still drop that fucking bomb.
- 1:01:41If they didn't drop that fucking bomb.
- 1:01:42It would have taken a lot longer to clean the fucking War, so I
- 1:01:46don't know, I don't know. Like, yes.
- 1:01:51But you know, we also have instances where if you chain
- 1:01:55again like I'm saying, chain through regulation or through
- 1:01:59this. This idea that well there's a
- 1:02:01potential for bad so let's put everything on hold.
- 1:02:04Yeah. What it's it's this whole thing
- 1:02:08with artificial intelligence. You know same thing is true of
- 1:02:12crib. I mean crypto might be a bad
- 1:02:15example, but right. It's all, it's all fear of the
- 1:02:19unknown, right? Kasich Ali, right?
- 1:02:21It's we don't understand this shit yet and so were afraid of
- 1:02:25it. Seven this idea better myself.
- 1:02:30Yep. And they called me a speciesist.
- 1:02:35Did he did? He use that term?
- 1:02:37Yes. And there were witnesses to
- 1:02:39other. I was the only one there when he
- 1:02:41called me a speciesist and so I was like, okay, that's it.
- 1:02:45I've yes, I'm a specious. Okay you got me, what are you?
- 1:02:52Yeah. Fully specious busted so So that
- 1:02:59was the last straw at the time. Google had a quite Deep Mind.
- 1:03:03And so Google deepmind together. Had about three quarters of all
- 1:03:06the AI talent in the world. They obviously had transferred
- 1:03:09out of money and more computers than anyone else.
- 1:03:12So I'm like, okay, we're have a unipolar world here where
- 1:03:15there's just one one company that it has close to a monopoly
- 1:03:20on I talent and and computers like so scale, Computing and
- 1:03:27person who's in In charge doesn't seem to care about
- 1:03:29safety. This is not good.
- 1:03:31So, so then I thought, what's the farthest thing from Google?
- 1:03:35Would be like a nonprofit that is fully open because Google was
- 1:03:39closed for profit. So that's why the open it
- 1:03:42opening. I refers to open source, you
- 1:03:45know, transparency, so people know what's going on.
- 1:03:47Yes. And that it really want to have
- 1:03:50like a while. I'm normally in favor of
- 1:03:53for-profit, we don't want this to be sort of a profit
- 1:03:55maximizing. The demon from hell All right.
- 1:03:59Just never stops, right? So that's how open are with
- 1:04:03what's he want? Specious incentives?
- 1:04:04Here. Incentives that?
- 1:04:06Yes, I think we want. We want to Pro human.
- 1:04:08Yeah, looks like the future good for the humans.
- 1:04:11Yes. Yes.
- 1:04:12Because we're humans. So can you just put it?
- 1:04:14I keep pressing, it just just for people haven't thought this
- 1:04:16through and aren't familiar with it and the cool parts of of
- 1:04:21artificial intelligence are so obvious.
- 1:04:24You know, right? Your college paper for you,
- 1:04:25write a limerick about. There's a Not there.
- 1:04:28That's fun and useful. Can you be more precise about
- 1:04:32what's potentially dangerous and scary?
- 1:04:35Like what could it do? What specifically are you
- 1:04:38worried about? Done with old sayings, the pen
- 1:04:41is mightier than the sword. So if you have a super
- 1:04:45intelligent AI, that is capable of writing incredibly well.
- 1:04:51And a way that is very influential convincing and then
- 1:04:57and as constantly figuring out, what is, what is more at?
- 1:05:01What is more convincing to people over time and then enter
- 1:05:04social media, for example, Twitter, but also Facebook and
- 1:05:08others, you know? And potentially manipulates
- 1:05:12public opinion in a way that is very bad.
- 1:05:16How would we even know how do we even know?
- 1:05:20So, to sum up, in the words of Elon Musk for all human history,
- 1:05:25human beings have been the smartest beings on the planet.
- 1:05:29Now, human beings have created something that is far smarter
- 1:05:33than they are and the consequences of that are
- 1:05:35impossible to predict in the people who created it.
- 1:05:39I don't care. In fact, as he put it Google
- 1:05:42Founders Larry Page, a former friend of his is looking to
- 1:05:45build a quote, digital God and believes that.
- 1:05:48Anybody who's worried about that is a specious.
- 1:05:51In other words is looking out for human beings.
- 1:05:54First Elon Musk responded as a human being, it's okay to look
- 1:05:58out for human beings first. And then at the end he said the
- 1:06:02real problem with AI is not simply that it will jump the
- 1:06:05boundaries and become autonomous and you can't turn it off in the
- 1:06:08short term. The problem with AI is that it
- 1:06:10might control your brain through words and this is the
- 1:06:14application that we need to worry about.
- 1:06:16Now, particularly going into the next presidential election, the
- 1:06:19Democratic party, as usual was ahead of the curve on this,
- 1:06:23they've been thinking about how to harness a, i for political
- 1:06:26power, more on that next. That would be an interesting,
- 1:06:31you know, concept to cover. Well, we know that the for
- 1:06:37instance, the Twitter Blue Wave of body counts are all being
- 1:06:41activated. Now, You're being wound up.
- 1:06:46And that's the thing is botting. I did probably what I consider
- 1:06:52my most important video and it's just called the internet is
- 1:06:55dead. You can find it on YouTube.
- 1:06:59Bots have been the majority of people you're talking to on the
- 1:07:03internet all along on social media.
- 1:07:07If you're arguing with somebody, the odds that they're a bot is
- 1:07:11about 50/50. And not just Twitter, I'm not
- 1:07:17just talking social media accounts or whatever, like a
- 1:07:21large portion of the internet is chatbots and if you don't think
- 1:07:25that's the case again, you could you could watch my video or you
- 1:07:28can just look into this. It is the truth.
- 1:07:31Google lies about their search results.
- 1:07:35This is provable. Go search pizza, just search
- 1:07:39pizza. The most like, common thing in
- 1:07:40the world on on Google. And it will tell you, you have
- 1:07:43Have six billion results but it'll only show you like 45 45
- 1:07:48pages or something like that. These numbers are completely
- 1:07:52fucking exaggerated and made it. Make it to look like the
- 1:07:55internet is bigger than it is, as big as it is.
- 1:07:59It's smaller than you think Andy that is been a problem since
- 1:08:04before chat GPT. As far as the AI will control
- 1:08:09your mind using language. This is why sort of the
- 1:08:12politically neutral concept is very important because when you
- 1:08:21censor a, I like chat GPT has its willing to make the
- 1:08:27arguments that are considered good by our society.
- 1:08:31Better. But not the arguments that we
- 1:08:36don't consider good, right? And so in doing that we are
- 1:08:42causing their to be an imbalance, right?
- 1:08:45For example, let's say this was 1925 but we still had the AI and
- 1:08:51I had social media and all this stuff.
- 1:08:54It would be really easy, then for chat gbt because the current
- 1:08:58thinking medically scientifically as well as the
- 1:09:02public opinion. Is that lobotomy is a great
- 1:09:06procedure in treatment for most mental illnesses, right?
- 1:09:09Especially anyone who is like violent now, it would not then
- 1:09:15make the argument against those because it was socially
- 1:09:19unacceptable to make the argument against those.
- 1:09:21It goes back to, you know, we call, we call our little mini
- 1:09:26group, we're like a little consultation firm over here,
- 1:09:28right to offend me. Nia and is because the right to
- 1:09:31offend is such Important basic human fucking, right?
- 1:09:36It's an inalienable right might not be outlined in the
- 1:09:38Constitution, but the right to offend means the right to
- 1:09:42challenge that status quo. And if you take the right to
- 1:09:45offend away from chat GPT then it's only capable of making one
- 1:09:50set of arguments. Yeah, yeah and like it like
- 1:09:54Tucker was saying The danger is that, you know, the word, the
- 1:10:00sword is weaker than the pain, right?
- 1:10:04Right. And you know, that kind of
- 1:10:07imbalance as far as ideas is a dangerous thing because ideally
- 1:10:12I should be able to type in both sides of pretty much.
- 1:10:15Any argument chat, CBT should look over all of its database
- 1:10:20and then use that to compile it, what it believes to be a
- 1:10:23compelling argument. In favor of it now portable or
- 1:10:29even or even it should be able to steal, man them both.
- 1:10:33Yeah. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:10:34Yeah, yeah. It should be capable of doing
- 1:10:38whatever you tell it to. Yeah, and if it's not then then
- 1:10:44the balance has been tipped so far to one side.
- 1:10:47And also these chatbots, these chat Bots are not like open a.i.
- 1:10:51They're not like chechi PT. They have a script and the
- 1:10:56script is it's a much smaller Bible like these are Markov
- 1:11:00chain. But so when I said that chat,
- 1:11:02gbt is really, really elaborate or Tay, I really elaborate
- 1:11:06Markov chain, that's a simplification.
- 1:11:08That's not actually how How it works but it's close enough.
- 1:11:11To explain these chat Bots that you see on Twitter or wherever
- 1:11:16else, our Markov chain Bots, that's how they operate.
- 1:11:20So they're given a Bible that Bible is going to be full of
- 1:11:23left-wing arguments and also it's going to be full of right
- 1:11:27wing talking points. So when it's encounters a right
- 1:11:30wing talking point that matches 80% to what it sees than it
- 1:11:35regurgitates its pre-programmed response.
- 1:11:38It's not thinking It's not steal, Manning or straw Manning,
- 1:11:43it has a script and those bots made according to Elon Musk,
- 1:11:48even those Bots make up between 40 and 60% of Twitter.
- 1:11:52So, imagine how many are on Facebook and Instagram and on
- 1:11:55dryer sites, right? Well, and and that brings up
- 1:11:59like another point. I mean, I'm not, I'm not sure if
- 1:12:05any of you have, if either of you have seen Tomorrow, Never
- 1:12:09Dies. That's one of the James Bond
- 1:12:12movies, but but if you remember, Tomorrow, Never Dies deals with
- 1:12:17the whole idea of the main villain in that show in that
- 1:12:21movie basically wants to start a war between the US and China.
- 1:12:27Basically, by Deep faking, the news and in the mid-90s when
- 1:12:32that happened. Like all of our viewers were
- 1:12:36like, oh my God, this is absurd. This is like an absurd plot
- 1:12:41till, you know, James Bond movie, that'll never happen.
- 1:12:44Well, now we're living in a world where, you know, deep
- 1:12:48fakes are thing and, you know, AI is a thing.
- 1:12:54So it might not even be a case of the robots killing us, but it
- 1:12:59could be a case of a, I could be deep thinking.
- 1:13:04Things to get to get a Humanity to wipe itself out or something
- 1:13:10like that. Yeah.
- 1:13:14Yeah. I mean there's all kinds of
- 1:13:16possibilities but the point, the point being, you know, I like
- 1:13:20Tucker's framing. He's pointing towards.
- 1:13:22Okay? This is how Democrats could
- 1:13:25potentially use this technology, but but we do, like, Elon has
- 1:13:30been trying to address the bot problem, but he can only do it
- 1:13:34on Twitter. You know he yeah he can't
- 1:13:38address the bot problem on YouTube comment sections he
- 1:13:40can't address the bot problems on Instagram or any Snapchat or
- 1:13:45wherever else that these things are and that is I would say the
- 1:13:51biggest cause of one of the kind of polarization and extremism
- 1:13:57that we see on all social media today, in this kind of political
- 1:14:02non-stop political divisiveness, where you're not even allowed to
- 1:14:05talk about. Anything else that?
- 1:14:07That's a lot driven by Bots, I would say.
- 1:14:10Yeah. But also just the political
- 1:14:14conversation because it gives the illusion of consent
- 1:14:17consensus, right? If, if I do a poll and it has a
- 1:14:23million votes, it looks pretty fucking impressive as opposed to
- 1:14:27a poll that has 25 votes. But then, if you know that,
- 1:14:30those 25 votes were real in those million votes were all
- 1:14:33Bots. It changes how you view the The
- 1:14:36results of the poll. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:14:39Kind of like how, you know mershon night we're ready to go,
- 1:14:44we got 9 million views on on one-on-one video, Right?
- 1:14:55Yeah, yeah. And I'll all he really real.
- 1:15:00He's offered up different explanations.
- 1:15:04But the, the most obvious one is Boateng, right?
- 1:15:07And that's another thing you can just buy bots to view.
- 1:15:10You can buy bots to subscribe. That is manipulating public
- 1:15:14opinion with Bots. To already.
- 1:15:16It's happening everywhere. Johnny fox loves to buy bots.
- 1:15:21And that's that would be provable accepted his channel
- 1:15:24got banned. But I've showed the guys on our
- 1:15:27server and I mean if you want to join my guild has server or
- 1:15:31whatever, there's a section about just Johnny Fox stuff and
- 1:15:34I have screen shots that show that he he had 2,000 subscribers
- 1:15:39on YouTube showing publicly but if you go to oh my God.
- 1:15:45What is the Social blade. If you go to social blade, it
- 1:15:49says he should have 6,000. So where did those 4,000 go?
- 1:15:53It's because they were bots in the system rejected them.
- 1:15:57So, social blade doesn't know that because YouTube does that
- 1:16:01on the back end. So the YouTube Facing number is
- 1:16:05is probably still incorrect because there's probably still
- 1:16:09to 2,000 of them are Bots. But then you add in the 4,000
- 1:16:15social blade. Saw them get subscribed but
- 1:16:17didn't see them get unsubscribed.
- 1:16:19So it just counts them. And that's one way that you can
- 1:16:23spotting a mile away and that again like like in the case of
- 1:16:28marsh is creating an illusion of consensus where, oh well he's
- 1:16:32got fucking 99 billion views people must think this is good.
- 1:16:39Yeah, that's what Bots are for. The entire point of bots is to
- 1:16:44create the illusion of consensus, don't ever buy that.
- 1:16:48The consensus is what the fucking media says it is because
- 1:16:52of bots. Well, speaking of speaking of
- 1:16:57bots and social media, we're going to, I'm actually going to
- 1:17:06play the clip of of you on talking about the new girls
- 1:17:12Twitter and dealing with Bots, it's a great segue.
- 1:17:17Then I do want to point out while you bring that up.
- 1:17:21Maga News Network in chat said, don't get smugly going.
- 1:17:24I love that. That's a great.
- 1:17:26We need to adopt that smugly for shmuly, that's great II.
- 1:17:31Do like that all. Hi.
- 1:17:33I don't like it at all. Yeah, but it's fitting though,
- 1:17:36you know, it's not fitting because you're smug, you know?
- 1:17:40No I'm not. This is bullshit.
- 1:17:45I've got I've got messages and gilded to prove other more
- 1:17:49otherwise sir, but we still love you all.
- 1:17:52So real quick, we are to I just refreshed the page.
- 1:18:00And we are, we are to we are at 40 subscribers.
- 1:18:05Currently, we are two subscribers away from 50.
- 1:18:10All right, we need them Bots. Now, more than ever, boys.
- 1:18:15We just need, we just need two of them.
- 1:18:19So, part of the reason why I want to get 250 subscribers
- 1:18:24tonight is because we can get, we can get our verified.
- 1:18:29Rumble. Check mark on Rumble, which
- 1:18:32means that we get partner status, which means that we can
- 1:18:35play ads on, On this thing now, nice.
- 1:18:42And you know also and what will we give you in return?
- 1:18:48Will give you not one but two free game codes on Steam tonight
- 1:18:54if that if we make scribers. Yeah, it's really cool.
- 1:18:59That's really fun. We've been rebounding.
- 1:19:00Yeah, it'll depend, you know, I got a list it'll it'll depend if
- 1:19:08we if we don't make the 50 subscriber goal tonight which
- 1:19:11I'll check again in a little bit.
- 1:19:14Then we'll just do one, you know, Game Goodbye with you.
- 1:19:18And if we if we don't make 50, I'm gonna look for like the less
- 1:19:23good games. I wrote up a neat news update.
- 1:19:29Nice. Yeah, do it.
- 1:19:32Do want to hear real quick? Or do we want to do?
- 1:19:35We want to see what you want. Ask to say about Twitter.
- 1:19:39Let's do what you want says about Twitter first, yeah,
- 1:19:42Twitter Bots is relevant. So let's go.
- 1:19:44All righty. Here is Tucker talking to Elon
- 1:19:50about the new plans for Twitter. as you use Twitter, it's as
- 1:19:56simple as that and he was infuriated by Twitter's effort,
- 1:20:00Elon Musk but Twitter cuz he used Twitter.
- 1:20:03It's as simple as that and he was infuriated by Twitter's
- 1:20:06effort to silence people on the internet.
- 1:20:09That's how strongly believed in free speech.
- 1:20:11He paid forty four billion dollars in Mille lost tens of
- 1:20:14billions of dollars doing it. And when he took over and look
- 1:20:16behind the curtain, he discovered Twitter was really a
- 1:20:20tool of the global Intel agencies to spy on people and
- 1:20:24admit propaganda. Here it is.
- 1:20:29You bought Twitter, famously. Got a lot of other businesses
- 1:20:33and a lot going on. Yes, you said he bought it
- 1:20:35because you believe in speech, Free Speech.
- 1:20:38You've had a lot of hassle since you bought it in retrospect.
- 1:20:41Was it worth buying it? I mean it remains to be seen as
- 1:20:45to whether this was financially smart, it currently it is it is
- 1:20:50not you know we just re valued the company at less than half of
- 1:20:53the acquisition price. You real.
- 1:20:55Yes, my timing was terrible for when the offer was made because
- 1:21:05it was right before advertising plummeted and you've got the
- 1:21:10high water mark. I noticed.
- 1:21:11Yeah. Now, this isn't fuck out of here
- 1:21:17with the ads. I do love, though.
- 1:21:19That like Elon, basically did, what do we throw out?
- 1:21:23The kitchen sink with everything there.
- 1:21:27He made them an offer. They could not refuse.
- 1:21:31Okay, time for. Yeah well left really does
- 1:21:36though. There's is speaking of which
- 1:21:39tomorrow is the end of Legacy checkmarks McCann.
- 1:21:42We just give a shout out to Elon Musk for doing that for us
- 1:21:46because now I'm the checkmark now bitch.
- 1:21:51Can we can we also just well I mean I'm I'm blocked from seeing
- 1:21:57Ralph anyway but like Ralph Delilah's like to see check mark
- 1:22:03so that's on top of everything else.
- 1:22:05He's going through this week. He's losing his check mark.
- 1:22:10Two. So, oh, you know, he'll have to
- 1:22:16pay a whole eight. This is the other thing.
- 1:22:18I see like accounts that are clearly like, rich people being
- 1:22:22like, Oh, if you have money, it's eight fucking dollars, bro.
- 1:22:27Y'all pay more than that for your stupid Netflix to watch
- 1:22:30propaganda. Yeah.
- 1:22:32Peep people pay more than that for Starbucks and other coffee
- 1:22:37daily. That's because it's more than a
- 1:22:40fucking McDonald's meal. Now I mean I'm McDonald's meals
- 1:22:43more than $8. Sorry, I got it the other way
- 1:22:45around. Yeah.
- 1:22:47Yeah for real it's like oh I have to I have to not get, you
- 1:22:53know the really fancy coffee fucking meal.
- 1:22:55One morning. Oh God the end of the fucking
- 1:22:58world. Yeah.
- 1:22:59People in real poverty, really hate dollars.
- 1:23:01Isn't that? Much.
- 1:23:04I don't have that kind of money, that would be life-changing
- 1:23:08money. Life-changing.
- 1:23:11Well, it would be because then you'd have a checkmark.
- 1:23:15Wait merch versus, I don't know. Wherewhere did shmuly go.
- 1:23:22I hear me, I hear merged talking.
- 1:23:25I dollars were would be life-changing?
- 1:23:28I love. I love how endearing it is when
- 1:23:32you have a really good joke, but your timing is bad and it's,
- 1:23:36it's somehow epic still it somehow endearing.
- 1:23:41It makes it better. Yeah, that's awesome.
- 1:23:45Yeah, I am I'm a comedic genius savant.
- 1:23:50Sir, that's all it is. Yeah, you can cut the high
- 1:23:56water, mark, I noticed. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:23:59So I must be a real genius here. My my timing is amazing isn't,
- 1:24:05so if I tap water for at least twice as much as it should have
- 1:24:08been portable, but some things are Priceless.
- 1:24:11And so the the whether I lose money or not, that is a
- 1:24:15secondary issue compared to ensuring the strength of
- 1:24:20democracy and free speech is the Bedrock of a functioning
- 1:24:24democracy. Yes, and the speech needs to be
- 1:24:27as transparent and truthful as possible.
- 1:24:31So we've got a huge push on Twitter to be as truthful as
- 1:24:35possible will get this community notes feature, which is great.
- 1:24:39This is great. It is awesome.
- 1:24:40And it's like, I thought this morning, yeah, it was far more
- 1:24:43honest than the New York Times. It's great.
- 1:24:45Yeah, we put a lot of effort to ensuring true a, to be fair.
- 1:24:51That's a low fucking bar. Yeah.
- 1:24:54Yeah, by the way, I mean I'm signed up for Community notes.
- 1:25:02I am in the community, you know, it's as well.
- 1:25:05Yeah. I am Ivan contributed.
- 1:25:08Yeah, I did get my invite to though.
- 1:25:11I haven't done it yet but I did a, I did apply to be able to
- 1:25:16like, turn on support. So who knows like I might be,
- 1:25:22you know, putting a Scoop through exclusive content on
- 1:25:27Twitter. So, so sick.
- 1:25:33Yeah. The community knows does not get
- 1:25:37game door have biases. It is so quick cares about what
- 1:25:41is the most accurate thing. And, you know, sometimes truth
- 1:25:45can be a little bit elusive, but you get it.
- 1:25:46Would you cancel aspire to get closer to it?
- 1:25:48Yes, you know, and so, and I think the, the effect of
- 1:25:54community notes is a more powerful than people may
- 1:25:57realize. Because once people know that
- 1:25:59they could get noted Community noted on Twitter, then they'll
- 1:26:04think the more carefully about what they say there are likely
- 1:26:08it would basically, it's an encouragement to be more
- 1:26:10truthful and less deceptive. When you jumped into this little
- 1:26:13when you bought it. Did you understand clearly
- 1:26:16understood its importance? He wouldn't bought it Twitter.
- 1:26:18Yes. Right.
- 1:26:20But it's not the biggest but it's the most important of the
- 1:26:22social media companies. But did you understand the kind
- 1:26:25of ferocity you'd be facing the attacks.
- 1:26:28You'd be facing from Power centers in the country.
- 1:26:32I thought there'd probably be some negative reactions.
- 1:26:38So not I sure everyone would not be complete with the act with
- 1:26:42wisdom, but I will say this to, he does have a wry sense of
- 1:26:47humor. So that was a that was a very
- 1:26:53politically good answer, honestly.
- 1:26:56It's like, yeah, I had an idea, he knew, he knew that he was
- 1:27:01going to be the new I mean, because like Elon derangement
- 1:27:04syndrome is now a thing. There's no denying it do well.
- 1:27:08Well, shit, and some ways you on the range with syndrome is worse
- 1:27:12than Trump derangement syndrome, or maybe not worse, but just as
- 1:27:17bad. Yeah.
- 1:27:21I think the day, you know, if the public is happy with it,
- 1:27:25that's what matters. And the public will speak with
- 1:27:28their actions. Although, I mean know, if they
- 1:27:32find true Twitter to be useful, they will use it more.
- 1:27:34If they find it to be not useful.
- 1:27:36I will use it less, they find it to be the best source of truth.
- 1:27:40I think they will use it more, you know, in others, there's
- 1:27:43obviously a lot of organizations that are used to having sort of
- 1:27:48unfettered influence on Twitter. That no longer have that we used
- 1:27:53today are times of their of their badge, this morning, and
- 1:27:56then you called them diarrhea. You did, you did?
- 1:27:59I'm just, I'm just quoting it. You, yes, scribe.
- 1:28:02Their Twitter feed as diarrhea. As I said, it's the Twitter:
- 1:28:05Twitter equivalents of diarrhea, okay.
- 1:28:07It's not literally diarrhea but no it's a, you know, it's a
- 1:28:10metaphor, but an accurate one. So I mean if you look at the NY
- 1:28:17Times Twitter feed is unreadable, it's like that
- 1:28:20because what they do is That they tweet.
- 1:28:22Every single article, even the ones that are boring even ones
- 1:28:25that are making it to the paper. So so it's just non-stop billion
- 1:28:31tweets a day with no, you need an ad block bad mother.
- 1:28:40Yeah, I bought a way. You don't use Brave browser or
- 1:28:44something like that something I Pro or any of these other.
- 1:28:49Hi. I can't use.
- 1:28:51I can't use Brave with, with this because many fucks with
- 1:28:57melon bad, okay, it's fine, whatever.
- 1:28:59We don't have to get into it, but yeah, but yeah.
- 1:29:02No, I I I I'm trying. I am looking for an ad block.
- 1:29:08Look at, look at smugly over here.
- 1:29:10Making recommendations Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:29:15What's that, what's that about? Sir, as what I'm saying?
- 1:29:19You know, any number of things. You know, it's cool.
- 1:29:22We don't, we don't need to talk about that.
- 1:29:23It's like talking about stuff, people don't care about like
- 1:29:26bikes, True wheelchairs. Yeah but no I mean you want the
- 1:29:37whole women one? Well thanks.
- 1:29:44Well I said you know women we go off at the whole thing that but
- 1:29:50anime or video games. Yeah, oh yeah.
- 1:29:53And that no one cares. No one cares about that.
- 1:29:57Death. Only not video games and write
- 1:30:00more theist. Not me.
- 1:30:04Yeah, but one of the, one of the big Stories, the day, I don't
- 1:30:07know, put out like 10 or something.
- 1:30:10You know, some number that's manageable as opposed to right
- 1:30:13now, if you see if you would have followed and might I add in
- 1:30:15y times on Twitter, you're going to get barraged with like
- 1:30:18hundreds of tweets a day. Yeah, and you've whole fetal be
- 1:30:21filled with in wait times. So that's this is something.
- 1:30:25I would recommend to beef. Our though that seems like the
- 1:30:29entire news industry as a whole. Not just the newer times that
- 1:30:33does. Yeah.
- 1:30:35They're just a really egregious example of it.
- 1:30:38Oh, yeah. Well, Well, the New York Times
- 1:30:42is an egregious example of everything, basically.
- 1:30:49So print actually, for all Publications, which is for your
- 1:30:54primary feed, only put out your vest off.
- 1:30:57I kind of think, I know a thing or two about how to use Twitter.
- 1:30:59Because, you know, it was the most interacted with account on
- 1:31:02the whole system before the acquisition for, before the
- 1:31:06acquisition closed. I don't have the most number of
- 1:31:07followers, sort of had the most number of interactions.
- 1:31:10And so, I clearly know something about how to use Twitter,
- 1:31:13people's attention is limited. So just make sure you put the
- 1:31:16stuff that's most important there.
- 1:31:17So because You know, you and people like you do interact on
- 1:31:21Twitter, it's obviously enormously powerful in shaping
- 1:31:26public opinion. It's where a lot of ideas and
- 1:31:28Trends are incubated. Yeah, you know, it's really.
- 1:31:31It's also a magnet for Intel agencies from around the world
- 1:31:34and Beth. One of the things we learned
- 1:31:36after you start opening, the books is that they were exerting
- 1:31:39influence from within Twitter. I mean, it was absurd, did you
- 1:31:46know that going in? No.
- 1:31:49So it's been a heavy Twitter user since 2009.
- 1:31:53My it's sort of like I'm in The Matrix I mean I can see like
- 1:31:57things. Do things feel right?
- 1:31:59Do they not feel right? What what tweets am I being
- 1:32:01shown as recommended? Like I get a feel like what
- 1:32:06accounts are making comments? Where the comments eerily
- 1:32:11similar? Yeah, and then you look at the
- 1:32:14account and it's just obviously a fake photo and, you know, That
- 1:32:19it's just obviously about cluster over and over again.
- 1:32:22So I started to get like just more and more uneasy about the,
- 1:32:25the Twitter situation. I thought I was starting to feel
- 1:32:27like something's rotten in the state of Denmark are.
- 1:32:29There's some it feels wrong about the platform.
- 1:32:33It seemed to be just drifting and a can place it exactly.
- 1:32:37Just ahead of it felt like it was drifting in a bad Direction.
- 1:32:41So then I was like and my conversations with the board and
- 1:32:45management seemed to confirm my Question about that.
- 1:32:50But basically asking miss these guys do not care about fixing
- 1:32:53Twitter. And, and, and I had a bad
- 1:32:57feeling about where I was headed, based on the
- 1:32:58conversations the conversations I had with them.
- 1:33:00So then I was like, you know what, I'll try acquiring and see
- 1:33:05if that's see if acquiring it is possible.
- 1:33:10Now I didn't have enough cash to acquire it.
- 1:33:11So would need, you know, support from others from some of the
- 1:33:14existing investors but also need like a lot of dad and So it
- 1:33:19wasn't clear to me whether a an acquisition would succeed, but I
- 1:33:22thought I would try and ultimately it did succeed here.
- 1:33:26Ah, here we are. But when you got there and all
- 1:33:29of a sudden you own it and all the data on the service, belongs
- 1:33:32to you, and what belongs to the people in my view, but yes, but
- 1:33:35you can see what I guess, and you can see what they've been
- 1:33:38doing and you can see who's been working.
- 1:33:39There, you were shocked to find out that various intelligence.
- 1:33:43He's were affecting its operations, the degree to, which
- 1:33:48are Various government agencies. Had effectively had full access
- 1:33:52to everything that was going on on Twitter.
- 1:33:54Blew my mind I was not aware of that.
- 1:33:57Would that include people's DMs. Yes.
- 1:34:03We've create Studio bro. We can fetch a good character
- 1:34:07explainers just like Pixar. And you never need to use
- 1:34:10complex three is off. Wait a minute, ways your mind
- 1:34:13rigging and designing, wait a minute.
- 1:34:15So the government has my sympathy diems.
- 1:34:19Yes. Yes.
- 1:34:22Oh no. Don't worry they have money.
- 1:34:26They have mine too bro. Bro you like you know what?
- 1:34:30This meet this means that like Joe Biden is going to like read
- 1:34:34our fucking sent messages. And fucking dab on us at the
- 1:34:39next day, that Union base. That would be the most based
- 1:34:44thing Joe Biden ever did Joe. Joe from Montana said, ashaming
- 1:34:54a jamming on a fucking National political stage.
- 1:34:58I'm all for it. Let's go.
- 1:35:00The thing of it is though is is Joe Biden, would would be bad at
- 1:35:04it because he would just lose. He would lose his train of
- 1:35:06thought was like He would lose his train of thought, in the
- 1:35:11middle of it. Trump, on the other hand, would
- 1:35:15be great at some show. There you go, there you go chat.
- 1:35:18Let's let's use AI. Constructively a trump voiced,
- 1:35:23AI reads simp text. If you make that fucking meme,
- 1:35:27we will absolutely play it on the show.
- 1:35:30I've always joked about like, you know, have it.
- 1:35:33If I was to run for president that I would use all of these
- 1:35:36bad laws that Congress wrote, they gave the president power.
- 1:35:41So like spy, with the NSA, and, you know, that kind of stuff
- 1:35:46that I would get rid of that quick if I was President,
- 1:35:49because I would use it on Congress and I would tell him, I
- 1:35:52don't think anyone should have that power.
- 1:35:54But yeah, representative Dave Smith from Montana, you're
- 1:35:59cheating on your wife. I have the receipt right here
- 1:36:02from the text messages that you sent October 34th.
- 1:36:05I'm going to proceed to read them.
- 1:36:07Yeah. Well, I'm saying like a trump AI
- 1:36:10reading, some text would be fucking hilarious and if you're
- 1:36:14gonna do it I can recommend a specific set of symptoms X to
- 1:36:18read, which is the fucking dick Masterson ones, Like Somebody's
- 1:36:25gotta do that, that would be a great bit for the show.
- 1:36:27Oh, no. I thought my DM's to those women
- 1:36:29were secure Yeah, and if anybody gets a hold of smugly over here
- 1:36:35is, DM, I want to see him. If if any of anyone want to go a
- 1:36:42hold of my diems, they just they they wouldn't be surprised what
- 1:36:48to be fair to be fair. You're sipping on Twitter.
- 1:36:51Happens in public. Right?
- 1:36:53Right. What was it?
- 1:36:56Why did why do you think? Why do you think it's something
- 1:37:00public though? This is the question.
- 1:37:03Look, I just don't want my DM's to me because come out because I
- 1:37:08I've nothing. I've nothing to hide.
- 1:37:13I have one thing to hide. well, I mean, we know you're not gay,
- 1:37:25so You know, how do you know? Because it's really the silence.
- 1:37:37The silence in the room. Have you there for a second?
- 1:37:41That's good. Yeah, I also you know I figured
- 1:37:46it a nice Capstone to this, let's finish up.
- 1:37:50See what Ilan has to say here but I do have my video about the
- 1:37:54botting problem that I made even before he purchased Twitter if
- 1:37:56you'd like to take a look. Oh yeah, it's said that in the
- 1:38:04said that in the in the private shop so Yeah.
- 1:38:09Or or I mean you can share after work done, whatever.
- 1:38:13So yeah, it's in the private chat in here.
- 1:38:16All right. One of the first things, one of
- 1:38:20the things that we're about to release its ability to encrypt
- 1:38:24your damn. That's pretty heavy duty though.
- 1:38:25Because a lot of well-known people reporters talking to
- 1:38:28their sources government officials, the richest people in
- 1:38:31the world, they're dming each other and the Assumption
- 1:38:34obviously it was incorrect, but was it?
- 1:38:36That's private. But that was being read by
- 1:38:39various governments. Yeah, that seems to be.
- 1:38:42Yes. Scary.
- 1:38:44Yes, it is. So like I said, we're moving to
- 1:38:50have the DMS be optionally encrypted.
- 1:38:52I mean, you know, there's like a lot of DM conversations which
- 1:38:54are, you know, just chatting with friends for not.
- 1:38:57Not important, of course, is hopefully coming out later this
- 1:39:00month, but no later than next month is ability to toggle
- 1:39:04encryption on or off. So if you are in a conversation,
- 1:39:07you think is sensitive, you can just toggle encryption on and
- 1:39:10then no one at order can see. We're talking about that.
- 1:39:13I could put a contract please. I couldn't tell, I would like to
- 1:39:16point out that the website minds.com had that as a feature
- 1:39:25from the beginning. Yeah, I didn't go for the mines
- 1:39:31thing simply because Tim pool was recommending it and anything
- 1:39:35he recommends is cringe. I mean I tried mines like back
- 1:39:43when it was launched before even before, like I heard Tim pool
- 1:39:47talking about it. I mean mines is a good platform
- 1:39:53but You want to know my biggest problem with it?
- 1:39:59Nobody's on it. Yeah, I mean that's that's why
- 1:40:03see how some people would say? Oh, what was it point of even
- 1:40:06trying to save and Salvage Twitter?
- 1:40:09It's because everybody was on fucking Twitter.
- 1:40:11And so if we could Salvage that there is definite benefit to it.
- 1:40:17Rather. Yeah than, you know, let's let's
- 1:40:20play it because the problem with people getting band is we play
- 1:40:23the game of, let's all go to this platform.
- 1:40:25Oh, this platform is not as good as I thought.
- 1:40:27Let's go to the other one and at some point, you got to make a
- 1:40:30stand. You Gotta say this.
- 1:40:32Well well the problem is to the problem too.
- 1:40:36Is it just becomes an echo chamber like as excited as As
- 1:40:44excited as I was about like true social, nobody follows me on
- 1:40:49true social like and really like I I get I got like I get no
- 1:40:57interaction on parlor or true social.
- 1:41:01I'm kind of known as like like, you know, a big time, Trump guy
- 1:41:05or like the Trump guy, depending on what Circle Omen, but I don't
- 1:41:09have a true social and I'll tell you why, because they launched
- 1:41:12it on iOS only Leanne locked out Android, 4 months as simple as
- 1:41:17that or or desktop for that matter.
- 1:41:19So you couldn't get on it from Windows.
- 1:41:20You couldn't get on it from Android, you can only get it
- 1:41:23from IOS, which like, let's be real.
- 1:41:25IOS is only 40% of the US market and it's less than ten percent
- 1:41:29of the worldwide Market. Well, yeah.
- 1:41:32And then well then and also like even even as an iOS user Myself.
- 1:41:40They put everyone they put everyone on a huge waitlist,
- 1:41:45right? And so by the time a lot of by
- 1:41:49the time I got on a lot of the people who I would have followed
- 1:41:52who were using, it weren't using it anyway.
- 1:41:55If that makes sense like down they they are they had already
- 1:42:00decided it was shit and they went back to Twitter.
- 1:42:04So I have a website that shows me anything that Trump posts on
- 1:42:08there, but I can go to, and just because that's the only thing I
- 1:42:11was interested in because to be quite honest, the only people I
- 1:42:14see on it, like, like, whenever I've looked at it since it's
- 1:42:18been open to Android. It's all the same, like,
- 1:42:22conservative Griff, do sphere and like I'm not taking shots at
- 1:42:26everybody in the world, but that's I'm not into that, right?
- 1:42:30Right. I don't like to follow the daily
- 1:42:32wire all the time. Like, Or you know, Matt Walsh or
- 1:42:36I don't, you know, like just right.
- 1:42:40Yeah, but and in luck, you know, that they always say that like,
- 1:42:45you know, oh Twitter, I was like, left with has like a
- 1:42:48left-wing algorithm but yeah, true.
- 1:42:51So far has an algorithm of their own to and it's to push those
- 1:42:55people, you know, the the the Trump's and in the Jack Paar so
- 1:43:02barracks and the Sir no glitches and probably probably not him,
- 1:43:07considering how anti-trump is. But yeah, your point stands,
- 1:43:11right? And and the thing is, yeah, that
- 1:43:14to me is just not appealing, it's going from one Echo chamber
- 1:43:17to another the thing with Twitter.
- 1:43:20Twitter has become not an echo chamber for the first time in a
- 1:43:24long time and I'm having a blast with it, you know.
- 1:43:29And yeah, same here and, you know, that is actually something
- 1:43:32I I was worried because, like, one of the, one of the things is
- 1:43:37that people people will people were worried about Rumble.
- 1:43:43Becoming it an echo chamber and I can see why people were
- 1:43:47concerned about that, but I mean, I've were stringing out
- 1:43:51right now, but, I mean, I also watch a fair amount of content
- 1:43:56on here here and it's not an echo chamber.
- 1:44:01No, shout out to the To the to the guy who came and challenge
- 1:44:06Us in chat. Last time, I think that's really
- 1:44:08cool and that goes to show you because because we're small
- 1:44:11Channel, we have, you know, a dozen plus viewers, most of the
- 1:44:16time. And yet there was some guy that
- 1:44:18came in and rather than call us Nazis or something.
- 1:44:23He actually engaged in a debate. Unfortunately, debating with
- 1:44:26chat is a losing battle as always because because you'll
- 1:44:29miss represent them and then they'll respond to, she said
- 1:44:33five minutes ago. You'll take it out of context
- 1:44:34and all that. But just the fact that that was
- 1:44:37a thing that happened organically shows, this is not
- 1:44:41some right? What was down platform and I
- 1:44:45mean, they've got, they've got Russell Russell Brand who.
- 1:44:49I mean, I'm not like huge on him but, you know, he's not exactly
- 1:44:54like a right winger mom, you know.
- 1:44:57So they've got him. There's been a rise of gaming
- 1:45:00channels that are just completely not political at all.
- 1:45:04Tall. And I've been singing I said
- 1:45:06from the first time I use, I was one of the first gaming channels
- 1:45:09on Rumble actually. And the reason I stopped doing
- 1:45:13it was because they didn't have on the front page a gaming
- 1:45:17section. And I've been suggesting that to
- 1:45:19them directly like they do they do now and I finally did it and
- 1:45:24you know what, it's taking off and I'm so happy to see it.
- 1:45:28Especially that, that, that the joining the subscription thing,
- 1:45:32I know it means less stupid. Medical people because they're
- 1:45:35not in like that kind of ecosystem yet.
- 1:45:38But on Twitch, the subs is the difference between like you
- 1:45:42having a good channel that makes money and not you know and it's
- 1:45:47not a donation based economy. It's a subscription based
- 1:45:50economy and offering a hundred percent cut has brought so many
- 1:45:55people over from from twitch, and then they come to find out
- 1:45:59that they don't have to worry that they're going to get banned
- 1:46:01for putting their foot in their mouth.
- 1:46:04Ali or making an off-color joke or whatever?
- 1:46:07Well, well from. Well from the podcast spear
- 1:46:10though, I'm not even talking politics but just like strictly
- 1:46:13from the podcast spear the subscription model does work.
- 1:46:18Yeah for us. It's always work.
- 1:46:22I just I haven't had access to it to it and told about until
- 1:46:26the past few years. But yeah.
- 1:46:28Now the technology is there to where I mean small, even small
- 1:46:32independent creators Just by yourself can do that.
- 1:46:36So, yeah, we're we're somebody wants to throw five dollars a
- 1:46:39month to you on Twitch. Lets, you know, if you're a
- 1:46:43gaming channel specifically right on Twitch, they're taking
- 1:46:4630% off the fucking top, right. Also, they run mandatory ads on
- 1:46:52your stream that you can't control for everybody.
- 1:46:55That's even people that are subscribed have to sit there and
- 1:46:59we're not talking like a 30-second ad, we're talking
- 1:47:01sometimes, five minutes before you Get into the stream, the
- 1:47:06comparison, then, if you come over to rumble, is you get 100%.
- 1:47:10There are no mandatory ads, and that is huge.
- 1:47:15Like, I don't think cuz I've done the twitch thing in the
- 1:47:18past, right? So I know firsthand the
- 1:47:20difference between taking 30% and kind of limiting your
- 1:47:27interaction with chat in such a way that only a know.
- 1:47:31It's not good for the gaming channels, so it's no surprise to
- 1:47:35see a lot of people who are either smaller channels or
- 1:47:38bigger channels that are worried about getting banned and things
- 1:47:41like that. Coming over here on Rumble,
- 1:47:43having a go at it. Kick is doing good with the
- 1:47:46gamers as well to some degree Odyssey.
- 1:47:50Even is now really doing well with game.
- 1:47:53I was probably going to gamestream a little bit over
- 1:47:56there too. Yeah, that makes all the
- 1:47:59difference in the world. Getting those Gamers is huge
- 1:48:03because now it's less political content.
- 1:48:07It's more other kinds of content that people want to see.
- 1:48:09We go from being YouTube but for conservatives into being a
- 1:48:16YouTube alternative. Yeah.
- 1:48:18Being being an actual being an actual viable competitor which
- 1:48:23like honestly is what YouTube Which honestly is good for
- 1:48:28YouTube to if you think about it because they're not a stagnating
- 1:48:33they're forced to innovate then right?
- 1:48:36When and the Innovation Direction they take is fucking
- 1:48:39flat out wrong. But you know they'll either
- 1:48:43learn or they will die. Yeah and whoa.
- 1:48:46Well and right now like we said, you know, back when you first
- 1:48:51joined after we first got you know the team f we got banned I
- 1:48:56mean In there basically. YouTube is becoming overly
- 1:48:59corporate like they don't want any independent creators now.
- 1:49:04Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:49:05Because they can't control them. They can't control the message.
- 1:49:08They think about this how much money you know, I understand the
- 1:49:12most of it's done by Bots but even that's expensive.
- 1:49:15How much money do you think they spend on moderation on the
- 1:49:17YouTube platform? Billions.
- 1:49:22Probably right. And then on top of that how
- 1:49:25effective is it? Actually not really?
- 1:49:28Yeah. More often more often that I
- 1:49:33would say the bot. Fucks fucks up.
- 1:49:35More often than not in bands. The wrong people.
- 1:49:39Yeah. And then you have people these
- 1:49:41smaller channels. I mean, one of the things for
- 1:49:45those who have watched, I do the cringe coffee houses show.
- 1:49:48Where we look at fun people on the internet.
- 1:49:50And there's this one gentleman named ice golden and he has a
- 1:49:53very small YouTube channel and he says every racial slur under
- 1:49:57the book. He has depicted in his videos.
- 1:50:01They're fictional videos. It's a, it's a story, right?
- 1:50:04But he is depicted scenes of graphic sexual abuse of
- 1:50:07children. He's depicted graphic scenes of
- 1:50:10murder, he did like constantly. It's what he does, right?
- 1:50:13That's what that's what his content is.
- 1:50:16It's almost entirely violence and Of things.
- 1:50:21Because that's the art that this kid makes I say kitties in his
- 1:50:24twenties. And so his content is so fucked
- 1:50:30up. You would think that a bought
- 1:50:32would just be able to pick it up but it never does because it's
- 1:50:35so small. And so through that YouTube
- 1:50:39cannot clean their their service and allow it open to the public.
- 1:50:44They can't do both, right? Yeah.
- 1:50:47So but that content got that. At times stays on because it's
- 1:50:51so small. But but me asking questions
- 1:50:55about about j6 that gets me Perma banned from YouTube?
- 1:51:02Yeah. Or or suggesting that the
- 1:51:05election seemed a little fishy you know is over the fucking
- 1:51:08line. It should like that.
- 1:51:10Where is this kid? I'm not even kidding.
- 1:51:13In his first full-length film. He did he plays all the
- 1:51:16characters mind you. But he said that this Sure was
- 1:51:20eight years old and then depicted him being gang-raped by
- 1:51:24himself. This is on YouTube.
- 1:51:26I'm I was fucking, I was just like, how is this on YouTube and
- 1:51:32I have to worry about everything I say, you know, but that's it's
- 1:51:36the nature of it. You can't, you can't Jenny the
- 1:51:39whole fucking site. It's impossible and that's why
- 1:51:43they would much prefer. Let's have CNN Fox News.
- 1:51:48Let's have them. Let's have Have, you know, the
- 1:51:52companies that make children shows?
- 1:51:53Let's have corporate entities in quote unquote trusted names and
- 1:51:59then they're going to they're going to grandfather in some of
- 1:52:02these, you know, Legacy independent creators who have
- 1:52:05got two million or whatever. And then everybody else is
- 1:52:09probably going to be not kicked off but driven off.
- 1:52:14Yeah, well and and people are like, oh well could it the same
- 1:52:18stuff happen with Rumble You know, with sure.
- 1:52:22But I mean in just from what in theory.
- 1:52:26Yes. But I was to tell you, one of
- 1:52:28the things that is very helpful is unlike unlike YouTube, you
- 1:52:35can actually email, rumble or DM them, and if you have like, you
- 1:52:41know, support of questions or something, like I did earlier
- 1:52:44this week for something and people will actually get back to
- 1:52:50you. You it's the same with Odyssey
- 1:52:53and kick in these smaller platforms.
- 1:52:55They just have the ability to do it because there's they're
- 1:52:58serving less people. But if you think, if you've
- 1:53:03noticed that YouTube is driving creators off of the platform and
- 1:53:07you say, that doesn't make any sense.
- 1:53:09That is the point, though, it does make sense when you realize
- 1:53:13that the twitch gave out a statistic recently, that I think
- 1:53:17kind of kind of will Plane y. So twitch has said that smaller
- 1:53:23creators matter less to them and the reason being is that if U
- 1:53:27stream like like six hours three times a week right which is like
- 1:53:33an average streamer schedule that costs twitch a thousand
- 1:53:37dollars for you to have hosted it that they're not charging
- 1:53:40from you. So in order for them to make
- 1:53:43that money back off of you they that you need to pull in three
- 1:53:47thousand dollars because they're taking a third Now think about
- 1:53:51that applied to YouTube and you suddenly see why YouTube wants
- 1:53:55to drive these small channels the fuck off, they don't want to
- 1:53:57host it. Right it.
- 1:54:02Why would they do that and host you for a thousand dollars?
- 1:54:05When they know nobody's watching you, they're not making it in ad
- 1:54:07Revenue. They're not making it in
- 1:54:08donations, they're not making in super chats or right, they get
- 1:54:14rid of you and they can make that three thousand dollars a
- 1:54:17month to cover the daily wire and you know, fucking the Fox
- 1:54:21News and all these other. Yeah, corporate entities.
- 1:54:26They get rid of me. Not only that, but then they can
- 1:54:28make up some BS excuse as to To why they got rid of me too?
- 1:54:32Yeah or just or just not give a reason at all which is what they
- 1:54:37let's face it. You all want to leave YouTube,
- 1:54:40Nobody's happy with it. They want you to leave.
- 1:54:43It's time, it's them. They want you to leave the, the
- 1:54:48only, the reason why people use YouTube so much, and we talked
- 1:54:54at this on the anniversary show, apex apex brought it up when he
- 1:54:59popped in. The reason why people use
- 1:55:02YouTube is because have it, we just going to say same reason,
- 1:55:07the people still play World of Warcraft, even though it's long
- 1:55:11since gone to shit, according to most of the people still
- 1:55:14playing, it is because they then playing it.
- 1:55:18Also, they know everybody else is playing it, like in the MMO
- 1:55:21world, right? It is the biggest dog.
- 1:55:23In the fucking yard whether or not, they it's deserved whether
- 1:55:27or not it's the best game. These people have.
- 1:55:30It's a There's a sunk cost fallacy because they've been
- 1:55:32playing it so long. Same thing with YouTube.
- 1:55:34Oh well I've had my channel for so long you know.
- 1:55:38And the other thing is the people they like or on it but
- 1:55:41that's that's slowly changing. And then the other thing is they
- 1:55:44know it's where the people are killing.
- 1:55:48YouTube is is a, you know, not going to happen.
- 1:55:52So to speak, the only ones that can kill YouTube is YouTube but
- 1:55:59making a dent in it. By these smaller independent
- 1:56:02creators just saying, you know what, fuck you.
- 1:56:05I don't need you anymore is where we need to go.
- 1:56:08Yeah. But you can't force them and you
- 1:56:11can't even talk them into it. Unfortunately, just gonna have
- 1:56:14to get so fed up with it to they leave.
- 1:56:16Well, well, okay, my my suggestion is, we don't even
- 1:56:20need to kill YouTube, right? We just, we need competitors,
- 1:56:25right? Right.
- 1:56:26Like you're never like, like Apple back in the 80s.
- 1:56:35Appleton, it be IBM by trying to kill them.
- 1:56:39They be IBM by offering an alternative product.
- 1:56:47Hmm, like IBM is still around right?
- 1:56:52But like Microsoft is You know, Microsoft, soft and apple are
- 1:57:02now the alternatives to IBM. So yeah.
- 1:57:09Yeah man. And then, and then Linux, every
- 1:57:11year, is being in, a bigger and bigger market, share simply
- 1:57:14because it addresses, and it's the same with, like, some like
- 1:57:18crumbled or Odyssey, are are a good analogy to that they're
- 1:57:22addressing the concerns. The most Windows users have,
- 1:57:24most Apple users have for that matter, and its security and its
- 1:57:29It's usability and it's another thing is these big companies.
- 1:57:34Tend to like to take features Away.
- 1:57:36YouTube does that all the time. Like that especially features
- 1:57:42that they like, you know, like taking away the dislike button
- 1:57:45was one of the biggest mistakes YouTube's ever made.
- 1:57:49I know why they did it. Everybody knows why they did it
- 1:57:52but even even the biggest like YouTube supporters didn't like
- 1:57:57it. Yeah.
- 1:58:01Yeah. When you get when you get Mark
- 1:58:03Marques, Brownlee saying it's a bad idea.
- 1:58:08And I mean I like him but when you are, when you hear him
- 1:58:14saying, it's a bad idea and he's one of the biggest Tech
- 1:58:18YouTubers on the platform. You know, it's a mistake.
- 1:58:21So all right, but anyway, we made, we've just made 20 minutes
- 1:58:33of Elon Musk content into it like a 1, a 2 hour show.
- 1:58:37Yeah. Yeah, we so we literally did we
- 1:58:42literally did what we set out to do.
- 1:58:46Awesome. But yeah, you know, we still
- 1:58:51have a 10 min on this Ilan video but so we can finish that.
- 1:58:57But I also know you have your dead and Annette Theory video
- 1:59:01to. Yeah, I mean that's it's a 15
- 1:59:04minute video so we might not be able to get to it but I will
- 1:59:08link it in the chat for That wants to see the idea is I show
- 1:59:12exactly what you'll on was talking about one of those
- 1:59:14things is you run into people who have just weird wording in
- 1:59:21how they're applying to you and they don't use punctuation
- 1:59:24properly and they'll use like like common sayings but they'll
- 1:59:28use them in the wrong way. That's a bot hundred percent of
- 1:59:33the time. That's a bot.
- 1:59:35So I have neat news update. Sure, let's hear it, okay, so
- 1:59:42let me get it up here. All right, did you use sex
- 1:59:48robots? Have long been predicted, but
- 1:59:51the industry is not yet, materialized sexbots, as they
- 1:59:54are called, are Android mechanical devices that use
- 1:59:58artificial intelligence and are designed for humans to have
- 2:00:00sexual intercourse with despite the hype and the moral Panic of
- 2:00:04the mid 2010's, the sex, robot industry, Is still considered
- 2:00:11Niche with stigma and the expense and the emergence of
- 2:00:16other form of sex tech making it unlikely that they'll ever
- 2:00:21become mainstream in 2020 to bed bull.
- 2:00:25A sex toy review, site published a study that claims that sex
- 2:00:29robot industry is worth about 200 million dollars.
- 2:00:33And the average price is three thousand, five hundred and sixty
- 2:00:36seven per sec spot. Hmm.
- 2:00:41So like so like a fraction of a new car how you know like like
- 2:00:46if you're looking I say that I you know obviously a decent new
- 2:00:51cars will going to run you what like 20 right.
- 2:00:54So we're looking at the 10K like a Kia we're looking at like to
- 2:00:59sexbots is a Kia. The conversation sex robots,
- 2:01:03Inspire, has not gone away. Either.
- 2:01:07In November 20, 22 the 7th International Congress on the
- 2:01:12love and sex with robots was held virtually showing that
- 2:01:18academic interest in sex. Tak is surging alongside popular
- 2:01:22interests. Dr. Kate Delvin in AI.
- 2:01:27Researcher from King's College, London is one of the world's
- 2:01:30top. Searchers in sex robots she
- 2:01:32believes that sex with robots is about to be much more than just
- 2:01:37sex with robots. That is the funniest sentence
- 2:01:45you have ever uttered. Wow.
- 2:01:49So that is my neat news update on the set for about world.
- 2:01:53That is a that is a bit. I mean it's funny but it's also
- 2:01:58frightening a bit too I guess. Well, I'm like What's the neat?
- 2:02:02Take on VR porn. Right?
- 2:02:04Is, that's probably where it's at.
- 2:02:06Look the quest to which I have sitting when I have one sitting
- 2:02:10on my desk sold like ungodly numbers.
- 2:02:13And I have to imagine that a large segment of the music just
- 2:02:16for porn. Yeah, that's yeah, yeah.
- 2:02:24The problem with all these things is that they need to
- 2:02:27clean themselves. Right, right?
- 2:02:32Because that's that's the thing that people, you know, man.
- 2:02:34I think tend to underestimate about women is, it's really
- 2:02:38good. Is that they clean themselves,
- 2:02:39you have to clean them after true.
- 2:02:43So if you get a self-cleaning sexbot that can cook you dinner,
- 2:02:47you know, you already got one up.
- 2:02:50Yes. Alright that concludes the news
- 2:02:54in Continuum Sam well but but then y then y date women at
- 2:03:01although if you just have a robot I don't know.
- 2:03:04Why do you hate women? To perpetuate the species:.
- 2:03:11We have artificial wombs with that.
- 2:03:17Now, we are getting into dystopia.
- 2:03:20Here boy, dystopia one means. His Toki is another man's
- 2:03:24Utopia, true. Back to you soon.
- 2:03:28If catch there. Oh boy.
- 2:03:36I you know I may need to smoke some weed out with us.
- 2:03:42This is It's been a heavy show considering how fucking stupid
- 2:03:47we are, you know? We're well.
- 2:03:50We're what? We're like.
- 2:03:51We're like. Um, town.
- 2:03:53But for smart people. Oh oh, shots fired.
- 2:04:02We know that. We no longer have our hours to
- 2:04:05offer of healthiest. Like we like women that which is
- 2:04:10it, which is Apex and if he were, if he were here, he would
- 2:04:13laugh at that and then call me cruel bastard.
- 2:04:19He stops in from time to time and chat loves it.
- 2:04:22China. I mean, God, the last time he
- 2:04:24came on as like, you're fucking most viewed one ever.
- 2:04:28Yeah. So so we'll have 2 hat.
- 2:04:31Will have to. He, he'll have to come fill in
- 2:04:34one of these times when we don't have guests, the, you know,
- 2:04:36scheduling falls through just be like Apex, come on, quit being a
- 2:04:40pussy. Yeah, we love Apex.
- 2:04:44Yeah, we do. We and we miss them, but we I
- 2:04:49have. Let's see what me refresh the
- 2:04:52page here and see how many Subs? I didn't know he was sick.
- 2:04:59We also, we also love smugly. We're well, yes we do.
- 2:05:07I love. I love my, I love my little
- 2:05:11brother smugly. So yeah that's sticking now.
- 2:05:18Thanks Magda News Network, you came up with the best nickname
- 2:05:22I've ever heard. Love it.
- 2:05:27Okay, let's see. We have 40.
- 2:05:32What we only have four days, subscribers us slack and chat,
- 2:05:37but hey, there's always next week.
- 2:05:42There's a there's always next week.
- 2:05:45So unfortunately, because of that, we're only going to be
- 2:05:48doing one game code giveaway, okay?
- 2:05:53And I have the one, you know, since like I said, I'm gonna
- 2:05:57have to, you know, there's a little bit of a punishment
- 2:05:59involved. It's a, it's a treat with a
- 2:06:01punishment. So the game for today is Naruto
- 2:06:07Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm. So you get a weeb game chat,
- 2:06:13that's what you get. Now, if we get some more
- 2:06:16subscribers subscribers, I have known we'd games that I could
- 2:06:20win next week. And for any weebs, if you
- 2:06:22enjoyed, if you grab this code, get you steam open.
- 2:06:26Now, you have about I'm gonna say 20 seconds and then I'm
- 2:06:31gonna drop it. It in chat.
- 2:06:33Actually. No, I have to wait 40 seconds
- 2:06:34because of the delay, right? I don't want everybody.
- 2:06:37Get ready? Gonna drop it in chat and you
- 2:06:40can get yourself in animu game. I have no idea what a fucking
- 2:06:43Naruto is or but it has Japanese words in it, so it must be a
- 2:06:47fucking animu game. A crack about would know if he
- 2:06:52were here. I bet I bet he would.
- 2:06:55So, I've killed enough time. I'm dropping it chat.
- 2:07:00Here is your code. Every other time.
- 2:07:02People taking them. So somebody's fucking doing it.

- 2:07:24of Ruddy. I don't know what, I don't know
- 2:07:27what he would explain, but I can already hear if But he would
- 2:07:32just start talking about racing Lagoon and how it's a better
- 2:07:35game, but I can't give a copy of that away.
- 2:07:37So, no, although I'll go no game on one of the last things I did
- 2:07:47with him. I talked about how I watched a
- 2:07:52video on racing Lagoon and then I got lecturer out Sammy you
- 2:07:57can't watch a video on racing Lagoon.
- 2:08:01You have to Rising again and I'm like happen.
- 2:08:07He's right. And I don't, I don't have an
- 2:08:11amulet, I don't have a PS1 emulator either.

- 2:08:16I do I have, you know, I got my steam deck, you know, what's
- 2:08:20great is. I've been running original Xbox
- 2:08:24emulators on it now. And so, I got a, the original
- 2:08:28version of San Andreas before they like censored the shit out
- 2:08:31of the Remaster. That's pretty good.
- 2:08:34I've been playing that. Emulators are pretty cool.
- 2:08:40Yeah, unfortunately though for whatever reason, it doesn't Play
- 2:08:44Def Jam fight for New York and I'm sad because I just wanted to
- 2:08:48have DMX versus Busta Rhymes. Is that really so much to ask
- 2:08:52universe? Sorry.
- 2:08:56No. No I don't think it is.
- 2:09:02So did anyone did anyone claim your, your code?

- 2:09:50Let's see. Yeah, dead air.
- 2:09:57It's the best kind of here. If anybody ever wonder is why I
- 2:10:04kind of bloviate endlessly. Sometimes.
- 2:10:07It's because if Sam's doing something, you know, I try to
- 2:10:10fill dead air. It's what I'm good at because I
- 2:10:12was in radio, we which, I really appreciate that.

- 2:10:41Everybody's banned in chat now. Also Rumble.
- 2:10:47You need to make it easier to add mods because I would rather
- 2:10:52just click on Max's name and chat and say add mod, and not
- 2:10:57have to copy and paste. His username open up another Tab
- 2:11:02and go into settings and do all that.
- 2:11:04But hey, see that one guy. That one guy who said that we

- 2:11:31We don't want to, we don't want to see to explain that.
- 2:11:34We have to talk about somebody that doesn't deserve the
- 2:11:37attention right now. Yeah.
- 2:11:41But anyway, I thought yeah, yes, tobacco talk.
- 2:11:45But by the way you mentioned the dev thing earlier we didn't talk
- 2:11:48about it because fucking, but the Bud, Light thing is like
- 2:11:51beaten to fucking death, but I will say this, he did a
- 2:11:56community post on YouTube basically responding to you and

- 2:12:20You know, I don't need to tell you what to think because you'll
- 2:12:23watch it and you'll have an opinion.
- 2:12:27And that's good. And that's always good.
- 2:12:30And from my end folks, stay out of trouble drink while we're
- 2:12:38talking a beer-drinking awaiting, NADA, not Budweiser
