- 0:07Speaker 1: Angie, do you want to explain to the class what's
- 0:10Speaker 1: going on with your feet today?
- 0:14Speaker 2: I'm so upset with myself.
- 0:17Speaker 1: This is the first thing Angie said to me when
- 0:19Speaker 1: I walked in the door today, Not not Normally, Angie
- 0:21Speaker 1: hits me with a good morning or a hello, and
- 0:23Speaker 1: then it's usually followed by a I gotta tell you something.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I found this out yesterday, and then it.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Start off with tea.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Generally it's a pleasant morning. Today it started off on
- 0:34Speaker 1: pun intended a bad foot.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Yes, I made the mistake today of coming into work
- 0:41Speaker 3: wearing my house shoes, so now I have to get
- 0:45Speaker 3: new house shoes. My house shoes are a pair of
- 0:47Speaker 3: very comfortable, like memory technology flip flops, that's what. That's
- 0:55Speaker 3: not fancy, but they're just so comfy. And the thing
- 0:58Speaker 3: is today head to tell So I'm not looking great, Okay,
- 1:02Speaker 3: I have to save my hotness energy for the weekend.
- 1:05Speaker 3: My sister is having an elopement over the weekend in Vegas,
- 1:10Speaker 3: so I'm trying to save all my hotness energy to
- 1:13Speaker 3: look pretty for that. So I can't every day this
- 1:16Speaker 3: week try to look like a human woman.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Can't do it.
- 1:19Speaker 4: So today we're getting a pass.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Today, I'm in like comfy pants and like a zip
- 1:25Speaker 3: up little jacket and a sports It's not great. But
- 1:29Speaker 3: then at the very least I was going to wear
- 1:33Speaker 3: real shoes. But I did not switch out of my
- 1:37Speaker 3: house shoes into the real shoes. I don't know what
- 1:39Speaker 3: was going on in my brain. I don't know, but
- 1:41Speaker 3: I didn't switch out. So Mikey was driving me to work,
- 1:44Speaker 3: per the usual, and we're halfway to work and I
- 1:49Speaker 3: realized I didn't switch my shoes because my feet felt
- 1:53Speaker 3: too comfortable. I noticed my feet were nice and comfy
- 1:57Speaker 3: and cozy, and then I thought, great, I made a mistake,
- 2:01Speaker 3: And sure enough, as comfortable as they are, and I
- 2:05Speaker 3: love them for house shoes.
- 2:06Speaker 2: These are not.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Good flippy floppies to be out in the world. And
- 2:10Speaker 3: I just felt like I had to call it out
- 2:12Speaker 3: on myself first before anyone noticed. You had to get
- 2:16Speaker 3: get out ahead of a Yes you ever see eight mile?
- 2:19Speaker 1: Oh?
- 2:19Speaker 3: Yeah, when b Rabbit says all the stuff about himself
- 2:22Speaker 3: first so that his opponent can't say it, That's like,
- 2:25Speaker 3: that's what I lived my life by, Like I will
- 2:27Speaker 3: call it out first so that you don't That's why
- 2:29Speaker 3: I always be talking about my.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Mustache, like, I know I got a mustache.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Don't try to don't come for me and try to
- 2:34Speaker 3: say anything about it. I know, and so I will
- 2:36Speaker 3: mention it first.
- 2:37Speaker 2: All that to.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Say, Gabe, you told me probably no one would have noticed. Yeah, no,
- 2:42Speaker 3: but now I've brought so much attention to it to
- 2:44Speaker 3: the point where we.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Talked about it on air.
- 2:46Speaker 3: If you see me out in the streets today because
- 2:48Speaker 3: I'm not going straight home, and.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Keep it right well, and you can't be the only
- 2:53Speaker 1: one who has done that, Okay. I guarantee someone this
- 2:56Speaker 1: morning will have left the house with their shirt on inside,
- 3:00Speaker 1: or the kid going to daycare has two different shoes on,
- 3:04Speaker 1: or maybe your socks are inside out. Has something like
- 3:07Speaker 1: this ever happened to you? Seven oh one two eight
- 3:11Speaker 1: zero one nine eight seven. Have you ever just had
- 3:13Speaker 1: one of those mornings like everyone on earth has had? Yeah,
- 3:17Speaker 1: where you walk out and you get halfway to work
- 3:19Speaker 1: and you go, you know, I didn't put on any
- 3:21Speaker 1: underwear today.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Imagine what if today, like the owner of the building
- 3:28Speaker 3: comes in today like I'm not in good.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Shape for this now, you know, things just work out
- 3:33Speaker 1: for me, So that would be hilarious.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Yea, well you look nice today. Shut up.
- 3:37Speaker 4: I have a T shirt and shorts on.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Yeah, but like I like the T shirt and you
- 3:42Speaker 3: got the chain on. The fact that you have the
- 3:44Speaker 3: chain on always ups your game.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Thank you. I appreciate that.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Well, if you have ever left the house and got
- 3:50Speaker 1: halfway to work or halfway to wherever you had to
- 3:52Speaker 1: be and he went, oh darn, you know, I forgot
- 3:54Speaker 1: to put a bra on this morning, any of something
- 3:57Speaker 1: along those lines, let us know about it. At seven
- 3:59Speaker 1: zero one two eight zero one nine eight seven, as
- 4:03Speaker 1: Angie is walking around, it looked like a dirt bag
- 4:07Speaker 1: and some flip flops that they have are bringing dirt
- 4:10Speaker 1: bag energy this morning, that's for sure.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Celebrating life's little victories.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Victory every morning we practice gratitude on Big ninety eight
- 4:21Speaker 5: point seven.
- 4:22Speaker 1: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 4:24Speaker 1: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 4:28Speaker 5: I just really needed to win, you know, Sure your
- 4:30Speaker 5: little victories with us. At seven oh one two one
- 4:34Speaker 5: eight seven.
- 4:35Speaker 1: All right, Angie, and before you get started, we do
- 4:37Speaker 1: have a big shout out to Erica today. She said,
- 4:40Speaker 1: she fixed her fan Now, Erica, I am not hating
- 4:44Speaker 1: on your little victory at all.
- 4:46Speaker 4: This is what little victories is all about. Yeah.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Sometimes it's oh hey I won five hundred dollars. Yeah,
- 4:52Speaker 1: sometimes it's I fixed my fan. It was making a
- 4:55Speaker 1: lot of noise and barely blowing any air. I took
- 4:58Speaker 1: it apart, cleaned it all out, sit it off, got
- 5:00Speaker 1: the grime out, and now it works like a charm.
- 5:03Speaker 1: That is what little victories is all about, right there.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I am impressed, Erica. I would be like, I guess
- 5:09Speaker 2: we get in a new fan.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a little bit of like some mechanical engineering
- 5:14Speaker 4: going out.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm impressed.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I'm the same as you. I congratulation. I'd chuck the
- 5:18Speaker 1: fan and buy another. I'm the same stuff. But that
- 5:20Speaker 1: you know, some people say that that's what's wrong with
- 5:23Speaker 1: the world today is no one tries to fix anything anymore.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So good for you, Eric, I think that's awesome.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I'm fully what's wrong with the world today.
- 5:30Speaker 4: That's fine, Angie, do you have a little victory.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I'm never beating the big back allegations.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I am elated because I remembered I brought in dilly
- 5:42Speaker 3: bars the other day, and I grabbed a dilly bar
- 5:45Speaker 3: from the freezer and I'm halfway through it right now
- 5:48Speaker 3: for breakfast, for breakfast and for you you know what
- 5:51Speaker 3: it's about to be that time of the month.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I'm feeling away. I wanted a dilly bar.
- 5:55Speaker 4: You know what, then, I think you deserve a dilly
- 5:57Speaker 4: bar if you would like a dilly bar.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I appreciate.
- 5:59Speaker 1: It is strange when our little victories happened to line up.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Mine is also food today yesterday. Yeah, so uh, Corey's
- 6:08Speaker 1: mother is staying at our house this week just to
- 6:11Speaker 1: help around with the dog and you know, if and
- 6:14Speaker 1: when baby g arrives at some point soon here. But
- 6:18Speaker 1: we got Indian Palace yesterday Indian food. And I have
- 6:24Speaker 1: driven past this place a billion time. We always go
- 6:26Speaker 1: to like taj because it's just closer. Yeah, And Corey
- 6:30Speaker 1: ordered the food on whatever, it was a pickup order. Yeah,
- 6:33Speaker 1: and she was like, oh, this is closer to the house,
- 6:36Speaker 1: not even close at all. It's actually way, way way
- 6:39Speaker 1: further away. But I've always wanted to try it because
- 6:42Speaker 1: I've driven past it a billion times.
- 6:44Speaker 4: It's sort of kind of close to where we work here.
- 6:46Speaker 1: And brought it home and it was delicious, and boy,
- 6:50Speaker 1: I cannot wait for one one thirty today when I
- 6:55Speaker 1: dive into some lefties because there's always so much extra food.
- 6:58Speaker 4: When you would Indian food, there's always extra food.
- 7:01Speaker 2: The portion sizes are incredible.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Yes, so I am looking forward to having that for
- 7:06Speaker 1: probably lunch and dinner tonight. But it was delicious, so
- 7:10Speaker 1: big shout out to Indian Palace. It was great stopping
- 7:12Speaker 1: in there yesterday.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I want to get Indian Palace now.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just I've driven past it so many times.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I'm like, I wonder what's it look like in there.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I'm trying. I don't just want to walk in there
- 7:21Speaker 1: like an idiot.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yea.
- 7:21Speaker 1: So it's nice to go in there actually getting something
- 7:24Speaker 1: for Yeah. So shout out to them this morning. Well,
- 7:34Speaker 1: I have great news for you. I am here todayat
- 7:39Speaker 1: news for me.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Yeah. So no baby G just yet.
- 7:42Speaker 1: We're still just kind of sitting and waiting and waiting
- 7:45Speaker 1: and sitting basically at the Glitten House.
- 7:48Speaker 4: I do think I am getting a bit antsy.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I mean, yes, come on, hurry, hurry it up.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Leave it to a.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Glitten to be late, all right, But we are still
- 7:59Speaker 1: just kind of waiting for that moment when baby G arrives.
- 8:02Speaker 2: It will be the.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Loudest silence ever because I just won't be here.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Oh gotcha, you'll know, all right, just hear this shrill voice.
- 8:15Speaker 4: That's exactly right.
- 8:16Speaker 1: And we well, maybe not shrill, but and we asked
- 8:20Speaker 1: on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page, and
- 8:23Speaker 1: let me tell you, the Big ninety eight point seven
- 8:25Speaker 1: Facebook page comments section is undefeated and defeated. What is
- 8:29Speaker 1: or was your favorite way to naturally induce labor? And
- 8:34Speaker 1: there are a lot of wonderful, actual, you know, comments
- 8:38Speaker 1: that can help. Yeah, there are a lot of comments
- 8:41Speaker 1: that really just are for laughs, which is also great. Like,
- 8:44Speaker 1: for example, Julia said, pitted dates with peanut butter and
- 8:49Speaker 1: chocolate six a day can help ripen your cervix.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Oh, I don't even know what that is.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Date.
- 8:57Speaker 3: It's a fruit and then you obviously pit. It means
- 9:00Speaker 3: there's not a pit in it, so it's easier to
- 9:02Speaker 3: eat it with chocolate.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And that is really good.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I thought a pitted date was when you went on
- 9:07Speaker 1: with someone on a date with someone because you felt bad.
- 9:11Speaker 2: That's a pity date. I can't stand you. I cannot
- 9:14Speaker 2: stand you.
- 9:16Speaker 3: But Costco sells pitted dates in a by the container
- 9:20Speaker 3: now I'm realizing I have a very ripe and deuterous.
- 9:25Speaker 1: We had Tammy, who said, back in the day, I
- 9:27Speaker 1: was close to my due date and I mowed the
- 9:29Speaker 1: lawn front end back.
- 9:30Speaker 4: The neighbors thought I was crazy.
- 9:32Speaker 2: When I tell you, I know for a fat gabe
- 9:35Speaker 2: that you will not let your wife mow the lawn
- 9:37Speaker 2: even if it induces lady.
- 9:39Speaker 4: No chance.
- 9:41Speaker 1: That's my one like one thing. I don't want my
- 9:44Speaker 1: neighbors to see my wife mow the lawn. Yeah, exactly right,
- 9:49Speaker 1: can't do it, Casey said. We live on nine acres
- 9:52Speaker 1: with some woods and a few trails through them. Both pregnancies,
- 9:56Speaker 1: I walked around the uneven trails, and two days later
- 9:59Speaker 1: I was in labor my second pregnancy. I also went
- 10:02Speaker 1: on TikTok and found some labor inducing exercises. Wasn't my
- 10:06Speaker 1: favorite way because well, I was very pregnant, but was
- 10:10Speaker 1: determined to induce labors. I see stretches and squats and
- 10:14Speaker 1: what have you.
- 10:15Speaker 3: When I was wildly pregnant with Liam, like I was
- 10:18Speaker 3: in the final days, I did do the thing if
- 10:21Speaker 3: if you guys have one of those big yoga balls,
- 10:24Speaker 3: sitting and bouncing on the yoga ball can help induce labor.
- 10:28Speaker 3: It didn't work for me, but it worked for my
- 10:30Speaker 3: girlfriend who was also pregnant at the same time.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It was wild right on, Tracy said, I'm told that
- 10:35Speaker 1: my mom's friends took her bowling the night I was born.
- 10:38Speaker 4: But I kind of liked that my little date night.
- 10:43Speaker 3: So worried I would be so worried that the water
- 10:46Speaker 3: would break, people would slip.
- 10:47Speaker 2: But that's not bad bowling, I guess.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And then I have two more for you, Angie. And
- 10:51Speaker 1: these two were fairly common. I like this one a lot.
- 10:54Speaker 1: They were talking about not they, but individuals on our
- 10:57Speaker 1: Facebook page were talking about like pumping.
- 11:00Speaker 4: If you pump, it just kind of gets things going
- 11:02Speaker 4: or something. I've never thought of it.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Oh, I've never heard of that. That sounds terrifying.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 1: And then finally there's a lot of people with some
- 11:10Speaker 1: innuendo jokes on there, Angie. They're talking about the deed,
- 11:13Speaker 1: the horizontal mambo. Now I'm an innocent guy. I don't
- 11:16Speaker 1: know what the horizontal mambo is or the deed. I
- 11:19Speaker 1: thought that's what I thought, that's what it was when
- 11:21Speaker 1: you owned a house.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Oh, that's really funny because the deed is how your
- 11:25Speaker 3: wife got pregnant in the first place.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Gave Oh oh oh, well, I guess that would be
- 11:31Speaker 1: a quick exercise.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Do you know what this is?
- 11:41Speaker 2: From sleeping beauty? OBV.
- 11:43Speaker 4: That's right.
- 11:44Speaker 1: A growing number of couples are trying what's called or
- 11:48Speaker 1: being called a sleep divorce, choosing separate beds or even
- 11:52Speaker 1: separate bedrooms to avoid snoring, different schedules, fighting over the thermostat,
- 11:58Speaker 1: and there are supporters who say better sleep makes them
- 12:01Speaker 1: happier partners during the day, but experts do warn couples
- 12:05Speaker 1: they still need intentional time together so the distance doesn't
- 12:09Speaker 1: become emotional distance.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Do you and Mikey sleep in the same room?
- 12:14Speaker 2: Yeah, we definitely do.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I feel like this thing about sleep divorce circulates every
- 12:18Speaker 3: you know so often, and I do agree that if
- 12:22Speaker 3: your sleep schedules, like if you have work schedules where
- 12:25Speaker 3: you have really different hours, and if you're kind of
- 12:29Speaker 3: a light sleeper, it does make sense to not sleep
- 12:32Speaker 3: in the same bed as your partner if they're gonna
- 12:35Speaker 3: be just ruining the actual sleep. But in my case,
- 12:40Speaker 3: Mikey and I we sleep in the same We go
- 12:42Speaker 3: to bed at the same time, and we wake up
- 12:44Speaker 3: at the same time, so it's fine. But I and
- 12:46Speaker 3: he does not snore, nor do I. I'm not a snorer.
- 12:50Speaker 3: I'm a drooler, but he doesn't care that I drool,
- 12:53Speaker 3: so that's fine. So yeah, but in terms of like snort,
- 12:56Speaker 3: when I was with my ex, he was I mean
- 13:00Speaker 3: white the snorer. Sure, and so we started sleeping in
- 13:03Speaker 3: separate beds. But I can guarantee you that is not
- 13:05Speaker 3: why we split. In fact, that's probably what kept us
- 13:07Speaker 3: together longer, because.
- 13:09Speaker 4: If I have well rested those arguments.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Yes, because if I had to sleep in that or
- 13:14Speaker 3: not get any sleep in that snoring cavern, then we
- 13:18Speaker 3: would have split a long time ago.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 3: But yeah, I fully support sleep divorce as long as
- 13:25Speaker 3: you are making like time intentionally to be with each other.
- 13:30Speaker 3: I think, like snuggle in bed until a certain point
- 13:33Speaker 3: and then okay, I gotta go, And then you sleep
- 13:35Speaker 3: in separate rooms.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 13:39Speaker 1: If you're someone who sleeps in a separate bed or
- 13:41Speaker 1: a different room or or different wing of the house entirely,
- 13:44Speaker 1: then your partner, why does it work for you or
- 13:48Speaker 1: why did you begin doing it? Let us know this
- 13:50Speaker 1: morning here on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I feel like you might.
- 13:54Speaker 3: It's different for every couple, obviously, but once baby g
- 13:57Speaker 3: is in the picture, depending on how like feeding and
- 14:01Speaker 3: whatever goals during those night shifts, sometimes it makes sense.
- 14:06Speaker 2: For you guys to sleep in different rooms, you and
- 14:09Speaker 2: your wife.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Yeah, we haven't talked a ton about that and how
- 14:13Speaker 1: the schedule works. I think we're kind of just gonna
- 14:15Speaker 1: wing it and then yeah, I mean you can't really know. Yeah,
- 14:17Speaker 1: we're gonna find out what works and what doesn't. Yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 1: and it'll just it'll be kind of interesting for someone
- 14:24Speaker 1: who gets up at four, yeah, in the morning, and
- 14:27Speaker 1: what you know, am I taking like the late shift
- 14:30Speaker 1: and just kind of powering through the night? Am I
- 14:32Speaker 1: kind of doing the all the afternoon shift while Corey
- 14:36Speaker 1: tries to sleep a little bit. So that will be
- 14:38Speaker 1: kind of interesting. I will say, I don't know if
- 14:40Speaker 1: I'm like destined for a couch at any point.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Uh, but you never know. I mean, we do have
- 14:44Speaker 4: another bed in the house. I guess I.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Cold you acting she might send you to the couch.
- 14:51Speaker 1: She might, I suppose, but yeah, no, Corey and I
- 14:53Speaker 1: we sleep in the same bed every night. I don't
- 14:55Speaker 1: even think we've ever even discussed. We don't snore either. Now,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I will say on a Saturday night after some karaoke
- 15:01Speaker 1: and I don't know, twelve bush lights, like, yeah, I
- 15:04Speaker 1: probably do snore, but sober sleep, neither of us really
- 15:09Speaker 1: snore at all. So it's never been a problem. And
- 15:11Speaker 1: we do have kind of a biggish bed, and by we,
- 15:13Speaker 1: I mean Corey's had one forever and I just got
- 15:16Speaker 1: to be a part of it.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Oh nice.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yeah, And so the dog wakes us both up in
- 15:21Speaker 1: the morning early, so there's not really a sleep schedule
- 15:24Speaker 1: thing there. She's usually up by six, I think. So
- 15:27Speaker 1: there's not a whole difference of sleep schedule at our house.
- 15:30Speaker 2: But we kana Hey, he does not believe in no,
- 15:34Speaker 2: I swear.
- 15:34Speaker 1: I just thought of that when we were going through
- 15:37Speaker 1: the beginning here where he said, you got to get
- 15:39Speaker 1: rid of the king's size bed.
- 15:40Speaker 4: It ain't good for the marriage.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Man.
- 15:42Speaker 2: You got to sleep in the same bed, and it
- 15:43Speaker 2: better be a small bed.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right.
- 15:46Speaker 1: We do have Vanessa on the phone. Vanessa, what's your
- 15:49Speaker 1: story with separate beds?
- 15:51Speaker 6: My spouse turns into an Olympic level blanket seat and
- 15:54Speaker 6: somehow manages to sleep diagonally across the king size bed.
- 15:58Speaker 6: After months of waking up hanging off the edge, we
- 16:01Speaker 6: tried separate rooms and it has been the best sleep
- 16:04Speaker 6: of my life. Yeah.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Man, I didn't even think about the blanket thievery Yeah, well,
- 16:08Speaker 3: I will say Corey and I what do they I
- 16:10Speaker 3: think it's very European.
- 16:12Speaker 1: We each have our own blanket. We don't share one
- 16:15Speaker 1: big giant comforter. No, it's too hard with the dog
- 16:18Speaker 1: in the middle. If one of us, if one of
- 16:21Speaker 1: us is cold, or one of us is hogging the
- 16:23Speaker 1: blanket and then you have this seventy pound dog, you
- 16:27Speaker 1: might as well just put on a hoodie because you're
- 16:29Speaker 1: gonna freeze.
- 16:30Speaker 4: There's no way to get back under that.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Oh that makes sense. Is that a European thing?
- 16:35Speaker 4: I think it is.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Yeah, so euro I love that using two different blankets.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure. I don't like I should do.
- 16:41Speaker 3: That because I get really the one thing where sometimes
- 16:44Speaker 3: I get up in the middle of the night and
- 16:45Speaker 3: I go to the couch for a little bit and
- 16:46Speaker 3: then I come back.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Is that I'm an overheater. Yeah, I hop yeah, And
- 16:51Speaker 2: we have one blanket.
- 16:53Speaker 3: He should take that big old blanket and then I
- 16:56Speaker 3: should get like a lighter one.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Yeah, why didn't I ever think when Gabe teaches me
- 17:01Speaker 2: new things that are useful?
- 17:05Speaker 4: This is am I the problem? It's me, hill On
- 17:10Speaker 4: the problem.
- 17:11Speaker 3: It's me.
- 17:12Speaker 5: We'll hear one side of the story and with your
- 17:14Speaker 5: help probably decide if it's right or if maybe you're
- 17:20Speaker 5: the problem.
- 17:20Speaker 2: That's right, I am a problem.
- 17:23Speaker 4: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Rachel wrote into us just this first sentence, I feel
- 17:29Speaker 3: like it immediately is going to make you feel away, Gabe.
- 17:33Speaker 3: I've been married for four years and have a great
- 17:35Speaker 3: husband and two kids. I'm very happy. Let me say
- 17:39Speaker 3: that first.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Congratulations.
- 17:42Speaker 3: The other day, I was talking to an old friend
- 17:45Speaker 3: from high school, and she brought up that my high
- 17:47Speaker 3: school sweetheart, who broke up with me after freshman year
- 17:50Speaker 3: of college, just got a divorce and that apparently he
- 17:53Speaker 3: had cheated on me for a year with this girl
- 17:56Speaker 3: back in college. I got so mad because he was
- 18:00Speaker 3: always accusing me of cheating just because I had guy
- 18:04Speaker 3: friends in the dorms, but he was the one cheating
- 18:07Speaker 3: the whole time. When I told my husband, he got
- 18:10Speaker 3: really annoyed and mad that I seem to care so much,
- 18:14Speaker 3: as though I haven't moved on with my life to
- 18:16Speaker 3: be with him and have kids. Am I the problem
- 18:19Speaker 3: for being pissed off that my ex boyfriend cheated on
- 18:22Speaker 3: me even though I'm happily married? Now?
- 18:25Speaker 2: Wow, what are your thoughts?
- 18:27Speaker 1: There's kind of a lot of gray area I would
- 18:30Speaker 1: say here, like, is are you angry at this ex
- 18:34Speaker 1: boyfriend that cheated on you and now your anger is
- 18:36Speaker 1: spilling into your household? That would be insane. But I
- 18:40Speaker 1: also think this is completely ridiculous, Like, yeah, you are
- 18:42Speaker 1: the problem one percent? Who cares? It has been forever?
- 18:48Speaker 1: Who cares? Oh my gosh, move on, it doesn't matter.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I'm on the opposite side.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Guy's divorced, his life's ince shambles. You're doing great. Who
- 18:57Speaker 4: cares what he did when you were eighteen nineteen years old?
- 19:00Speaker 2: I care?
- 19:01Speaker 3: So I am?
- 19:02Speaker 4: I figured on this side?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Am on Rachel's side? What do you think?
- 19:06Speaker 3: Seven oh one two eight oh one to nine eight seven.
- 19:08Speaker 3: We also have this up on the Big ninety eight
- 19:10Speaker 3: point seven Facebook page, and of course you can call
- 19:12Speaker 3: us text us.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I'm team Rachel on this one.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Uh.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I think that for her husband to get annoyed and
- 19:21Speaker 3: mad like, bro let me be annoyed and mad.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Because this is new information.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Yes, it happened a long time ago, but this is
- 19:29Speaker 3: new information.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Yes, this is new information. She didn't know, so I
- 19:34Speaker 2: would be mad.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I would be looking back at all the times he
- 19:38Speaker 3: accused me when he was the one doing the thing.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I would be so mad.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Now she's not saying I want to leave my husband
- 19:46Speaker 3: and be with the ex like he's She's not saying
- 19:48Speaker 3: anything other than that she's really mad about that situation.
- 19:52Speaker 3: I would be really upset. So I get where she's
- 19:56Speaker 3: coming from, and like, you know what, maybe just some things.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Don't tell your husband, sure, like that's a conversation. Maybe
- 20:03Speaker 3: you tell your ear it's like as you tell Yeah, however,
- 20:07Speaker 3: I don't know Rachel's husband. Now, maybe you're the problem,
- 20:10Speaker 3: because why shouldn't she be able to just like tell
- 20:13Speaker 3: you how that really upset her?
- 20:14Speaker 6: Well?
- 20:15Speaker 1: I always the thing I've noticed a lot for am
- 20:17Speaker 1: I The problem is words matter a ton. And she said, uh,
- 20:23Speaker 1: mad that I seem to care so much as though
- 20:25Speaker 1: I haven't moved on with my life.
- 20:27Speaker 5: What have you?
- 20:29Speaker 4: If you've really moved on?
- 20:30Speaker 2: How why are you mad.
- 20:32Speaker 4: About this that happened? I don't know how old she is,
- 20:34Speaker 4: but clearly at least five to six plus years ago.
- 20:37Speaker 3: It would be different if she was still mad about
- 20:41Speaker 3: it now and had known this information back when it happened. Sure,
- 20:46Speaker 3: if she was still mad, then I'd be like, girl,
- 20:48Speaker 3: you gotta let it go. Maybe I'm a.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Grudge holder to watch. Yeah, yes, you gotta let it go.
- 20:55Speaker 3: But she just learned this information. The fact that it's
- 20:58Speaker 3: new information makes me think, like, you're okay, your go
- 21:01Speaker 3: ahead be upset about it. I do kind of think
- 21:03Speaker 3: you are onto something though.
- 21:04Speaker 1: That's definitely like, that's just like a convo with your
- 21:07Speaker 1: besties getting mimosas your hobby doesn't need to know that.
- 21:10Speaker 4: He doesn't care, but.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Your hubby should be your best friend.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Also, I think she should have been able to say
- 21:15Speaker 3: it without him getting Now. He seems insecure to me, Rachel,
- 21:19Speaker 3: maybe your husband's actually a red flag. No, that's too strong.
- 21:22Speaker 3: He's not a red flag. I do think it's ridiculous
- 21:25Speaker 3: for him to be upset that she was upset.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know, it's just knowing you.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I'm talking about you as the human that I have
- 21:33Speaker 1: hung out with countless times.
- 21:35Speaker 4: With you and Mikey.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I'm just I'm very curious if Mikey were to find
- 21:40Speaker 1: out some new information about maybe one of his exes
- 21:44Speaker 1: and was to bring it up it unhinged. I could
- 21:47Speaker 1: I know the quote that would come out of your mouth,
- 21:50Speaker 1: And to be honest, I can't even.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Say it on the radio, Righty, You mean if I
- 21:54Speaker 3: would be hating on the ex as much as he's
- 21:57Speaker 3: hating on the ex In fact, I bring up his
- 21:59Speaker 3: exes on my own say on them.
- 22:01Speaker 2: It's true.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that is very true, all right?
- 22:04Speaker 5: Right?
- 22:04Speaker 3: In fact, if he found new information, we're raising that
- 22:08Speaker 3: horse back up from the dead.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Seven one two eight zero one nine eight seven. Is
- 22:15Speaker 1: there someone who's at fault here? I think they both
- 22:18Speaker 1: kind of right in a weird way.
- 22:19Speaker 4: They're right wrong.
- 22:21Speaker 1: She's allowed to be bummed, he's allowed to be annoyed
- 22:24Speaker 1: that she's hung up on this. I think there's a
- 22:26Speaker 1: lot of gray in this. But I also think this
- 22:28Speaker 1: is like talk about to you.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Yeah, this is why we turned to you. You let
- 22:33Speaker 2: us know what you think. Seven one two one nine
- 22:35Speaker 2: eight seven. On the problem with Rachel.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Wanted to know she was the problem. She's happily married
- 22:47Speaker 3: with two kids, but she just found out that her
- 22:50Speaker 3: high school sweetheart, who broke up with her after freshman
- 22:54Speaker 3: year of college, was cheating on her the entire time.
- 22:59Speaker 2: This is new information.
- 23:00Speaker 3: She just found this out, and so she got real
- 23:04Speaker 3: upset about it and confided in her husband that she
- 23:08Speaker 3: was really upset about.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Her first mistake. Not I'm just kidding.
- 23:12Speaker 3: And then her husband in turn got mad that she
- 23:15Speaker 3: was so annoyed because it made it seem like, girl, like,
- 23:18Speaker 3: haven't you moved on? Why are you so upset about this?
- 23:21Speaker 3: So she wants to know she's the problem for feeling
- 23:24Speaker 3: such a strong way about it.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I'm team Rachel.
- 23:27Speaker 3: I think because it's new information, she has every right
- 23:31Speaker 3: to like, process it, grieve it, be mad about it,
- 23:34Speaker 3: and then let it go.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Gabe thinks it been.
- 23:38Speaker 4: I think it's stupid.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Yeah, there we go.
- 23:43Speaker 4: To put it bluntly. Yeah, so we asked you what
- 23:46Speaker 4: you thought.
- 23:46Speaker 3: We also put this up on the Facebook page. And
- 23:50Speaker 3: what I love is when I see the words I
- 23:53Speaker 3: agree with.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Angie, Julia said, you haven't read through it yet.
- 23:57Speaker 3: You just what No, I'm just kidding, she said, I
- 23:59Speaker 3: agree with and Youie, No, you are not the problem
- 24:01Speaker 3: for being upset about this. Two conflicting things are true here.
- 24:04Speaker 3: You can be happy and in love with your life
- 24:06Speaker 3: and husband now, and you can be upset about discovering
- 24:10Speaker 3: a huge betrayal like.
- 24:11Speaker 2: This when it called your character into question.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Also, you just found out you're allowed to have anger
- 24:16Speaker 3: and upset feelings about it exactly.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Is Julia a therapist?
- 24:20Speaker 6: I like this?
- 24:21Speaker 2: This is great. She summed it up better than I did.
- 24:26Speaker 2: You any response to that shit?
- 24:28Speaker 1: Yes, I don't know. There are some times we get
- 24:31Speaker 1: an am I the problem? And I do appreciate all
- 24:34Speaker 1: of them. I think they're all wonderful and they're very
- 24:36Speaker 1: fun to discuss here on Big ninety eight point seven,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and it's really fun when people chime in about them.
- 24:40Speaker 1: But there are some where I'm just like, man, is
- 24:44Speaker 1: there anything else going on in the world that you
- 24:46Speaker 1: could be upset about this?
- 24:48Speaker 4: Dude? Who cares? Who cares?
- 24:52Speaker 2: They dad?
- 24:53Speaker 4: Oh, it doesn't. It's like, do you know when you're like, let's.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Say you have a ten year old, right, mm hmm,
- 24:59Speaker 1: your mom, you have an eight year perfect, you have
- 25:01Speaker 1: a nine year old, Yes, you have a nine year old,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and you do something that upsets your nine year old,
- 25:07Speaker 1: and then in ten years, however long they've been together.
- 25:11Speaker 4: He's like, do you.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Remember that time when I was nine and you did
- 25:13Speaker 1: this and this? You're gonna get annoyed about it?
- 25:15Speaker 6: Right?
- 25:16Speaker 3: Literally, Liam brings up something I did four years ago.
- 25:21Speaker 2: See all the time, And.
- 25:22Speaker 4: What do you tell him?
- 25:23Speaker 2: I laugh?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Yeah, you laugh, it's funny. Let it go, this hubby, dude,
- 25:28Speaker 1: who cares? Just let your wife be mad. It's not
- 25:31Speaker 1: that big a deal. So you did do a one eighty.
- 25:33Speaker 1: You are on the husband's side before.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Well, I still am on his side in a way.
- 25:37Speaker 4: There's just too much gray area here.
- 25:39Speaker 1: If if her being upset is like really taking a
- 25:44Speaker 1: toll on their house and the kids, and she's walking
- 25:46Speaker 1: around mad and taking it out on everybody, give it up,
- 25:49Speaker 1: Let it go.
- 25:50Speaker 5: This guy.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Life is in shambles right now. You one, okay, you're happy.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you can sit there and laugh and enjoy the
- 25:58Speaker 1: fact that this dude is some crusty, dusty loser.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Let it go.
- 26:03Speaker 3: It doesn't matter if she keeps harping on it and
- 26:07Speaker 3: like brings it up every chance she gets to her husband,
- 26:11Speaker 3: then I would understand if her husband was upset.
- 26:14Speaker 2: The thing is, you bring it.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Up to your husband once just to let him know
- 26:18Speaker 3: that this was the thing that happened that you're feeling
- 26:20Speaker 3: because like you feel comfortable talking to your husband, but
- 26:23Speaker 3: then any other time you want to bring this up
- 26:25Speaker 3: and beat the dead horse, you do that with your girlfriend.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's the hard part with it because we
- 26:29Speaker 1: don't always get the full story, Like was this hubby
- 26:33Speaker 1: shit point?
- 26:34Speaker 5: Was it?
- 26:34Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 26:34Speaker 4: Was he genuinely upset? Bro let it go?
- 26:37Speaker 6: You know?
- 26:37Speaker 1: Yeah, she can be mad, that's fine. What has she been,
- 26:41Speaker 1: you know, carrying this around for days and days and days?
- 26:44Speaker 1: And finally Hobby was like, okay, I've had enough, Like
- 26:47Speaker 1: can you can we not talk about this? Then he's
- 26:49Speaker 1: totally right. So how do we say who's right or
- 26:51Speaker 1: wrong in this situation? We don't know the full story.
- 26:53Speaker 3: That is the beauty of Amma the problem. We get
- 26:56Speaker 3: one side of the story and then make a decision.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Now, Francis did say, yes, you are the problem. You
- 27:02Speaker 1: know what you need to do, and he posted a
- 27:03Speaker 1: gift from Frozens let it go, And that made me laugh.
- 27:06Speaker 1: So I like, Francis, I like that, let's have done that.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Note every time there is a buzz from my phone
- 27:17Speaker 1: here in the Big ninety eight point seven studio, and
- 27:19Speaker 1: she's like, oh, are you having a baby?
- 27:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:21Speaker 1: I checked the phone here basically any day At this point,
- 27:26Speaker 1: I think I think I'm getting a tiny bit antsy.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I'm kind of like, all right, come on, Glinden, hurry
- 27:32Speaker 1: up and get here. I know Cory's pretty ready to
- 27:35Speaker 1: be done, I do think. And it's just so hard
- 27:39Speaker 1: to tell, you know, because obviously we never done this,
- 27:42Speaker 1: but contractions they can start stop, yeah, not come back
- 27:46Speaker 1: and then start later and then ramp up out of nowhere,
- 27:49Speaker 1: slow down out of nowhere. It's just kind of whenever
- 27:51Speaker 1: baby G is ready. But this weekend does seem like
- 27:54Speaker 1: probably a pretty solid.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Guess, yeah, fingers crossed, because I just I want this baby.
- 27:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:59Speaker 1: But by five pm today I could be texting Angie going, hey,
- 28:04Speaker 1: everything we plan for the show tomorrow, scrap it because
- 28:06Speaker 1: you got to do it yourself. And one thing Angie
- 28:10Speaker 1: and I were talking about yesterday, just you know, in
- 28:12Speaker 1: my office, was what does Corey want as that first
- 28:15Speaker 1: postpartum meal? And I kind of panicked real quick for
- 28:18Speaker 1: a second. And when I have no clue, I should
- 28:20Speaker 1: probably figure that out. Yeah, And so we asked that
- 28:23Speaker 1: question to you this morning here on Big ninety eight
- 28:26Speaker 1: point seven and on Big ninety eight point seven's Facebook page. Ladies,
- 28:29Speaker 1: what was that first postpartum meal? And no matter what
- 28:33Speaker 1: it was, I bet it was the greatest meal you've
- 28:36Speaker 1: ever had in your life?
- 28:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 28:38Speaker 4: Seven oh one two eight zero one, nine eight seven?
- 28:40Speaker 4: What did you have? What'd you have? Angie?
- 28:41Speaker 3: Okay, so I've had two kids. First kid, My first
- 28:46Speaker 3: meal after was the largest size I could get of
- 28:51Speaker 3: h I was in Vegas of a Capriotes sandwich called
- 28:55Speaker 3: the Bobby, which is essentially Thanksgiving in a sand It
- 29:01Speaker 3: was so good. I like wolfed that thing down. You
- 29:04Speaker 3: would think I had been starving for a month. It
- 29:07Speaker 3: was so incredible. And then for Liam, I got this
- 29:12Speaker 3: huge salad from Cafe Rio, not a healthy salad, like
- 29:17Speaker 3: a taco salad kind of salad, the one that no
- 29:21Speaker 3: doctor recommends. And I housed that one super quickly too.
- 29:26Speaker 3: I'm hungry now. That postpartum meal. You will never as
- 29:31Speaker 3: a man like I'm salvating. As a man, you will
- 29:34Speaker 3: never understand, never the way that postpartum meal hits.
- 29:38Speaker 2: And you know what, that's what we deserve for birthing children.
- 29:42Speaker 2: That's what we get. We get a dope meal.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Yeah, well I don't know, Angie, you've never had a
- 29:47Speaker 1: nine to fifteen am cup of soup.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Okay, let me tell you.
- 29:51Speaker 1: But what I'm seeing a lot on Facebook, there's a
- 29:53Speaker 1: lot of people who have said sushi. Nicole said her
- 29:57Speaker 1: husband brought her sushi. There was more sushi coming.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Can't have sushi during pregnancy, yes, if you're.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Wrong, Yeah, so if you want it, I suppose you
- 30:05Speaker 1: have to kind of wait all that time. I also
- 30:06Speaker 1: see a lot of sandwiches on their Jersey, Mike's other
- 30:10Speaker 1: various sandwich shops.
- 30:12Speaker 2: You can't have Delimeats.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Exactly, which is funny because I did just text Corey
- 30:16Speaker 1: right before we started talking here. I said, hey, I
- 30:18Speaker 1: never really have asked you, but what do you want
- 30:21Speaker 1: for food? You know, after the time, And it was funny.
- 30:24Speaker 1: She said a sandwich and then runny eggs. We make
- 30:28Speaker 1: eggs every weekend for breakfast pretty much, you know, pretty consistently,
- 30:34Speaker 1: and we always got to really make sure they're cooked
- 30:36Speaker 1: all the way because she obviously can't have undercooked eggs.
- 30:38Speaker 2: That's so funny, And yeah, I wouldn't have even thought
- 30:42Speaker 2: of that.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Runny eggs she wants a sandwich, runny eggs, and then
- 30:45Speaker 1: to just sleep on her stomach, that part which she
- 30:50Speaker 1: has obviously not been able to do. But there's a
- 30:52Speaker 1: lot of people saying sandwiches, which is what Corey has said.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Julie said, both babies six inch subway sandwich. Yeah times
- 31:00Speaker 1: and about that Deli means sandwiches just hit a little
- 31:02Speaker 1: bit different. Seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 31:05Speaker 1: eight seven your first post part of meal? What was it?
- 31:08Speaker 4: And did you love it?
- 31:12Speaker 1: Is there a social an unwritten social rule that you
- 31:15Speaker 1: think you know, we just go ahead and write that
- 31:17Speaker 1: into actual written law.
- 31:19Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like there are so many. One
- 31:21Speaker 3: I would say, is you put your shopping cart back.
- 31:24Speaker 4: That should be a law.
- 31:25Speaker 2: That should be a law. You should be penalized.
- 31:28Speaker 4: It should be the same thing. It should as whatever
- 31:30Speaker 4: littering is.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Same, Yeah, same penalty. You gotta do that. What are
- 31:35Speaker 2: some other things? Gabe?
- 31:37Speaker 3: You had one share the one from the other day,
- 31:40Speaker 3: because I felt that in my soul. We were on
- 31:42Speaker 3: our way to Gosa, Mexico for lunch, and there's a
- 31:45Speaker 3: lot of road work going on, so already driving these
- 31:49Speaker 3: streets ain't the most fun.
- 31:51Speaker 2: And then this happened.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Angie and I are on the way to cost in
- 31:54Speaker 1: Mexico and a young man is crossing the street where
- 31:58Speaker 1: he should not be crossing.
- 31:59Speaker 4: Right, what do we call it?
- 32:01Speaker 1: Do?
- 32:01Speaker 4: Go that jwalking? That's right?
- 32:04Speaker 1: And you know I had to tap on the brakes
- 32:06Speaker 1: to safely let this man cross the street, which obviously
- 32:09Speaker 1: I would do.
- 32:09Speaker 4: I'm a caring member of society. I don't want to
- 32:11Speaker 4: hurt anybody, right.
- 32:13Speaker 1: There is nothing worse on planet Earth than when you
- 32:17Speaker 1: slow down your vehicle to let someone cross the street.
- 32:21Speaker 1: And I swear you can almost watch them walk slower
- 32:25Speaker 1: to get to the sidewalk. If I hit the brakes
- 32:28Speaker 1: to let you cross the street where you shouldn't cross,
- 32:31Speaker 1: what I expect instantly is a foot going backwards, planted
- 32:36Speaker 1: into the ground to propel yourself forward in a somewhat jogging,
- 32:41Speaker 1: full sprint motion. To be honest, because let's not act
- 32:45Speaker 1: like I didn't just do you a favor and saved
- 32:47Speaker 1: your life. Yea, if my truck and your body collide,
- 32:51Speaker 1: I will win one thousand times out of one thousand.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I expect a little hitch in your gidea up, Well,
- 32:58Speaker 1: I allow you to cross the street for saving your life.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Call me Captain America. Yeah, no, I.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Agree with you wholeheart.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Like, if someone is doing you the kindness that you
- 33:08Speaker 3: better put some pep in your step. So while we're
- 33:11Speaker 3: at it, if someone holds the door open for you,
- 33:15Speaker 3: you better put some pep in your step and do
- 33:18Speaker 3: that awkward shuffle of gratitude and get your butt in
- 33:20Speaker 3: that door.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Yep.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Okay.
- 33:22Speaker 4: And I'm not a big fan of when you tell
- 33:23Speaker 4: people to smile, but you know what you do.
- 33:25Speaker 1: You probably look at the person, get them a little
- 33:27Speaker 1: smile and say thanks, yes, acknowledge that you know they
- 33:30Speaker 1: exist and yeah, and say thank you.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Speed it up and say thank you. If I'm holding
- 33:36Speaker 3: the door open for you, speed it up and say
- 33:39Speaker 3: thank you. Now there is a certain distance where it's like, now,
- 33:41Speaker 3: why are you holding.
- 33:42Speaker 2: The door open?
- 33:42Speaker 4: Yeah, now you're trying to show up.
- 33:44Speaker 3: But there is this like gray area where it's like,
- 33:47Speaker 3: I'm just gonna hold it open because if I don't,
- 33:49Speaker 3: I'm gonna look rude. So if I'm holding the door open,
- 33:53Speaker 3: just be a little hustle in it, yeah, and then
- 33:55Speaker 3: say thank you.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I think and I've thought about this actually way too
- 33:59Speaker 1: many time since Monday when this happened. If you know
- 34:02Speaker 1: I'm allowing you to cross the street whilst I'm in
- 34:05Speaker 1: a vehicle, and you know you're slowing down my day,
- 34:07Speaker 1: which obviously I was not in a big hurry.
- 34:09Speaker 4: It's not that big of a deal.
- 34:10Speaker 1: But if I noticed that there's not a little extraop
- 34:13Speaker 1: in that walk, Yeah, to get across the street loitering.
- 34:21Speaker 4: I need some.
- 34:23Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 34:27Speaker 5: good News on Big ninety eight point seven. When I
- 34:31Speaker 5: read this this morning, it kind of gave me a
- 34:32Speaker 5: little smile, Angie.
- 34:34Speaker 1: A brand new support group in Fargo is helping people
- 34:38Speaker 1: with hearing loss realize they don't have to face it alone.
- 34:41Speaker 1: The group it brings together people with certain implants or
- 34:45Speaker 1: hearing aids, and it brings in their families as well
- 34:48Speaker 1: to share experiences, offer encouragement, and help one another navigate
- 34:53Speaker 1: life's challenges. Organizers say hearing loss can feel incredibly isolating,
- 34:59Speaker 1: which I think you could have imagine. Unless someone speaks
- 35:02Speaker 1: sign it can be kind of hard to communicate with
- 35:05Speaker 1: other people, especially if you obviously have trouble with hearing.
- 35:09Speaker 1: But people also are doing a great job of truly
- 35:12Speaker 1: understanding that they can make a difference by going to
- 35:14Speaker 1: these meetings and being a part of them.
- 35:16Speaker 4: It's a reminder that.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Sometimes medicine isn't necessarily the best prescription. It's knowing that
- 35:21Speaker 1: someone else is walking the same path with you.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Representation and community matters.
- 35:28Speaker 1: And you know my favorite quote, if you don't, we
- 35:30Speaker 1: end the show with this. Every single day, broken Crans,
- 35:33Speaker 1: They still color and the world is full of nice people.
- 35:35Speaker 4: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
