Comal County just got a whole lot safer with six brand-new K9 officers arriving from Slovakia and Hungary—Dutch and German Shepherds specially trained for patrol and detection. These pups are currently bonding with handlers before diving into a 20-week intensive training program to build trust and mastery. Their arrival marks a major boost to public safety, from drug detection to suspect tracking, while also honoring retiring veteran K9s who served faithfully.
