Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
August 1st, 2024. Let me give a shout out to two
• 0:25
buddies of mine, Adrian and Aaron.
• 0:29
Happy birthday to you both. Hope you guys have a good day,
• 0:33
Have fun, don't get too drunk or too high, but you know, get some
• 0:41
drunk and high. But anyways, happy birthday,
• 0:44
guys, have a good day. All right, Speaking of good
• 0:47
days, yesterday men's basketball team won as I predicted, and
• 0:52
they won by less than 28 1/2 points as I predicted.
• 0:56
So I get me another win. So got a nice little run going
• 1:00
there at the end of the the month.
• 1:04
Hopefully we can keep that carrying forward as we go into
• 1:06
August because you know what we got tonight?
• 1:09
Do you know what we have tonight?
• 1:12
  Football. That's right, ladies and
• 1:15
gentlemen, it's August 1st and it is football season.
• 1:19
Oh, man, Glorious just snuck up on me, too.
• 1:24
We got the Hall of Fame Game tonight, which is like week zero
• 1:27
or something like that of the preseason, but we got the Texans
• 1:30
and Bears squaring off. They're in, I guess, Canton, OH,
• 1:35
since it's the Hall of Fame Game.
• 1:37
And right now Bears are 2 1/2 point underdogs.
• 1:42
And I like them because I think Texans know what they got.
• 1:48
They're going to do a little bit.
• 1:49
But Bears are still filling things out.
• 1:51
I think they're going to have their their real guys out there
• 1:54
for a little longer. And I think that's going to be
• 1:56
enough for them to take this match.
• 1:58
So we're going to go Bears plus 2 1/2 against the Texans in
• 2:04
  tonight's NFL football preseason action.
• 2:09
Is anything better than that? Pound it.
• 2:10
That's my pick, and I'm sticking to it.
• 2:12
