- 0:24Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:28Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley along with
- 0:32Speaker 1: Tredy Trenholme and Raj Sharma. Today is Monday, August eleven,
- 0:37Speaker 1: two thy twenty five. Raj, I need you to prepare
- 0:43Speaker 1: yourself for what is about to happen. Okay, okay, because
- 0:47Speaker 1: I too am needing to prepare myself for what's about
- 0:51Speaker 1: to happen.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Despite the fact that.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I have a tiny bit of information going in, I
- 0:58Speaker 1: know nothing. Okay, I do not know the whole story.
- 1:03Speaker 2: I just know the hook.
- 1:07Speaker 1: So here's the hook of the story that Trey is
- 1:09Speaker 1: about to tell us. The other night, Trey sent me
- 1:13Speaker 1: a text message and said, good news, I had a
- 1:15Speaker 1: date tonight.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Yeah awesome.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Yeah, And he followed that up with bad news.
- 1:22Speaker 2: She brought her cat. That is all I know.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Okay, I said, save the whole story for the show.
- 1:31Speaker 1: So here we are, Trey, why did your date bring
- 1:36Speaker 1: her cat to the date.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I'm still unclear as to to that. We had talked
- 1:48Speaker 4: and we met online. We had talked and she knew
- 1:53Speaker 4: I had a dog. I don't know that I ever
- 1:55Speaker 4: referenced that I have a cat. She had asked me
- 1:58Speaker 4: my dog like other animals, and I said, yeah, Daisy,
- 2:01Speaker 4: Daisy loves everybody.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Yeah, but.
- 2:07Speaker 4: So she lives slightly outside of Dallas. So we had
- 2:13Speaker 4: agreed come over on a Saturday, hang out by the pool.
- 2:17Speaker 4: I was gonna cook, you know, mhm, nice date maybe
- 2:23Speaker 4: who knows, maybe turns into more don't.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Know, some splashy splashy.
- 2:30Speaker 4: So she calls me when he gets close to my place,
- 2:38Speaker 4: and I go down to let her into the parking
- 2:40Speaker 4: garage she can park. I hop into her car and
- 2:44Speaker 4: the first thing I'm greeted with is a.
- 2:45Speaker 6: Loud yowl, and I'm like, what the And I turn
- 2:53Speaker 6: around and yeah, there's a cat and a cat carrier.
- 2:57Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm I'm what are the few times I
- 3:04Speaker 4: am truly at a loss for words? I mean, I
- 3:09Speaker 4: don't if I have one, just absolute fatal flaw.
- 3:14Speaker 6: I don't handle sudden change.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Well.
- 3:17Speaker 4: If I have something planned out and it just takes,
- 3:19Speaker 4: you know, a right hand turn into the wall, it
- 3:22Speaker 4: really screws me up.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I'm right there with you, so don't feel bad about that,
- 3:27Speaker 1: because once my expectations are set and something derails it,
- 3:31Speaker 1: then I'm derailed least at least for a little bit.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I am amtrak at this point, I.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Am, and that cat is the conductor.
- 3:41Speaker 1: That's like, instead of blaring the horn, the cat is
- 3:46Speaker 1: putting the throttle all the way forward.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Trying to run you down on those tracks.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Yeah, so, I uh, you know, she's all I thought
- 3:59Speaker 4: it'd be fun.
- 4:00Speaker 6: You know, your dog can meet my cat, I said.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Clearly, we didn't discuss the fact that I have a cat,
- 4:07Speaker 4: a sixteen pound orange tabby that doesn't like anyone other
- 4:11Speaker 4: than me. A daisy tolerates a few other people, but
- 4:17Speaker 4: doesn't like other cats, does not does not like other animals.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So what you have is a three pound Shihuahua and
- 4:27Speaker 1: a tiny territorial tiger. And this lady thought, for the
- 4:31Speaker 1: first date it would be a good idea to bring
- 4:34Speaker 1: her cat to play. Now, granted she didn't know about
- 4:39Speaker 1: your tiny tiger situation, but it does assume quite.
- 4:42Speaker 4: A bit well it And you know, she was like, well,
- 4:50Speaker 4: you said your dog was every you know everyone. I'm like, yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 4: I said, but at the very least, you give me
- 4:59Speaker 4: a heads up as to what you're doing so I
- 5:02Speaker 4: can prepare. Have you know, something worked out or at
- 5:07Speaker 4: least you know, I tell you. Maybe I'm allergic cats.
- 5:12Speaker 4: I don't know, but give me some kind of heads up.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Don't just surprise me with this.
- 5:18Speaker 7: What was there something in the text like were you?
- 5:20Speaker 7: Was there maybe a double entendre in there of you
- 5:23Speaker 7: want me to bring some over?
- 5:26Speaker 3: You know?
- 5:28Speaker 1: That was my hope when Trey sent the text, good
- 5:31Speaker 1: news had a date tonight, bad news.
- 5:34Speaker 2: She brought her cat.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I had it said good news, good news, I would
- 5:38Speaker 1: have thought, oh that a boy.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but no.
- 5:43Speaker 1: But since he prefaced it by saying it was bad news,
- 5:47Speaker 1: it's like, okay, then he means the actual cat, not
- 5:50Speaker 1: some sort of euphemism. So the fact that she shows
- 5:53Speaker 1: up to your date with her cat is pretty presumptuous.
- 6:00Speaker 3: She didn't know.
- 6:01Speaker 1: She doesn't know you have a cat. She just knows
- 6:03Speaker 1: that you have a dog. So again, bringing a cat
- 6:06Speaker 1: is presumptuous. Where was the cat going to go to
- 6:09Speaker 1: the bathroom?
- 6:10Speaker 6: Oh oh, she had a whole.
- 6:12Speaker 4: She had like a little travel litter box, bowls, everything.
- 6:16Speaker 3: I mean, Oh, okay, so she's crazy.
- 6:20Speaker 6: She brought a cat to a first date.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Yeah, Rush, Rosey's already been established.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Now we're just realizing she's also a planner, responsible crazy.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Now are you not in love Tray?
- 6:35Speaker 1: Because she didn't get because because she derailed his plans
- 6:38Speaker 1: as expectations.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Okay, gotcha?
- 6:41Speaker 6: Yeah, because I guess when you upset my little world.
- 6:46Speaker 4: So of course I probably should have just gone, hey,
- 6:49Speaker 4: you know what, this didn't go to work. But then
- 6:51Speaker 4: I'm like, all right, you know what, maybe I can
- 6:53Speaker 4: I can figure this out.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Oh so you did the date anyway?
- 6:56Speaker 6: I tried to. Yeah, it was a disaster. It was
- 6:59Speaker 6: uh because I was unnerved the entire time. And then
- 7:03Speaker 6: like like.
- 7:05Speaker 4: This is so I locked Julius up. I know Daisy's
- 7:08Speaker 4: going to be okay. Even Daisy wasn't happy about it,
- 7:10Speaker 4: but anyway, days he was going to be okay. And
- 7:13Speaker 4: uh and then you know, the cat is very comfortable.
- 7:17Speaker 4: It starts running all over the place. It's on my
- 7:19Speaker 4: sofas even uh got its claw and one of my
- 7:23Speaker 4: sofa pillows and uh and then and then but I
- 7:29Speaker 4: was trying to make it work. I was like trying
- 7:31Speaker 4: to shake it off. I'm like, I can I can
- 7:33Speaker 4: salvage this.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I really love Tray two point oh because Trey one
- 7:37Speaker 1: would have sent that.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Chick packet yeah, and uh, Trey Trey one point oh
- 7:42Speaker 2: would have never let her get out of the car.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Trey zero point zero would have killed her. He's not
- 7:51Speaker 3: that bad.
- 7:52Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, Tray tray tray zero from the scream, I
- 8:00Speaker 8: mean would have had people calling, you know, nine one one,
- 8:03Speaker 8: just out of fear, you know, for the safety of
- 8:04Speaker 8: the woman.
- 8:05Speaker 1: He wouldn't kill it. Trey one point I would be like,
- 8:07Speaker 1: get the hell out two point zero. I appreciate this tray.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You're like, you know what, she drove a long way.
- 8:13Speaker 1: She clearly planned ahead. She brought the cat's travel goodies.
- 8:17Speaker 1: So you gave it a shot. And I'm proud of you.
- 8:20Speaker 1: That's growth, my friend.
- 8:23Speaker 4: So I tried, I, I, you know, work the animals around.
- 8:28Speaker 4: I lockt Julius up for a while at the cat everything,
- 8:31Speaker 4: and and still cook dinner and.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Uh and then the really hit the fan.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Oh, look at Trey with the teas.
- 8:51Speaker 5: You're in the Treehouse.

- 9:34Speaker 1: green egg from Cookdfwroofing and Restoration. Give him a call
- 9:38Speaker 1: eight three to three Cook DFW eight three three, COOKDFW
- 9:41Speaker 1: the website, cookdfw dot com. All right, let's reset this
- 9:44Speaker 1: bad boy. The other night, Trey had a date. That's
- 9:48Speaker 1: the good news.
- 9:49Speaker 2: The bad news is she brought her cat, yeah, without
- 9:52Speaker 2: giving Trey the heads up. So, Trey, you've made dinner.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You tried to power your way through the day despite
- 10:00Speaker 1: it completely going wrong in every way. So what happened
- 10:05Speaker 1: next for you to say that it then hit the fan?
- 10:11Speaker 4: So at some point now I've had Julius locked up
- 10:15Speaker 4: in my bedroom, so I need to let him out
- 10:17Speaker 4: so he can use the litter box, eat everything else.
- 10:20Speaker 4: I'm like, all right, we're gonna switch. Okay, I'll put
- 10:25Speaker 4: your cat, you know, move the little carrier everything in
- 10:28Speaker 4: my room because it's at this point it's late. She
- 10:31Speaker 4: lives close to an hour away. She didn't want to
- 10:34Speaker 4: drive at night?
- 10:35Speaker 5: Cool?
- 10:38Speaker 2: How old is this date?
- 10:40Speaker 6: Huh?
- 10:40Speaker 2: How old is your date? She showed up with her
- 10:43Speaker 2: cat and she doesn't want to drive at night.
- 10:46Speaker 6: She had a couple she'd had a couple of drinks, and.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I was gonna say, how's Nana doing.
- 10:52Speaker 4: I she didn't want to drive that distance back, like
- 10:55Speaker 4: I said, she had a couple of drinks. All right,
- 10:59Speaker 4: So like, all right, we're gonna switch. I'm gonna grab Julius,
- 11:03Speaker 4: you bring your cat in. And this isn't even where
- 11:08Speaker 4: things really go a foul. But and I said, I'd
- 11:13Speaker 4: kind of work myself back into a calm. Okay, this
- 11:16Speaker 4: can work then, So I've got Julius now again, Julius,
- 11:19Speaker 4: sixteen pound cat does not know really when to take
- 11:23Speaker 4: his claw, retract his claws or not. And I can
- 11:26Speaker 4: end up bloodied just from trying to groom him, like
- 11:29Speaker 4: with a just brush him. So imagine I'm trying to
- 11:32Speaker 4: hold him while orchestrating switching rooms with another cat. And
- 11:38Speaker 4: I opened the door, thinking she's got the cat and everything.
- 11:41Speaker 6: No, the cat's like, she's like, oh, come on, she's.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Trying to voice command her cat into the other room
- 11:50Speaker 1: that you're trying to transition your cat and her cat.
- 11:54Speaker 4: Okay, so that God, are you kidding me?
- 12:00Speaker 8: Mm hmm.
- 12:03Speaker 4: But get the get the exchange done. I'm now I
- 12:06Speaker 4: send her into my bedroom. I am now outside. I'm
- 12:09Speaker 4: just sitting down trying to Zen. I put I get
- 12:12Speaker 4: Julia settled. I pick up Daisy. I'm petting her. Calm,
- 12:16Speaker 4: Calm again.
- 12:17Speaker 1: I honestly, Trey, I thought I thought with the exchange
- 12:20Speaker 1: of the cats from one room to the other, I
- 12:23Speaker 1: thought that was going to turn into a cat tornado,
- 12:26Speaker 1: and that you were just going to be in the middle,
- 12:27Speaker 1: engulfed in a in a flurry of fur and claws.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Nope, okay, okay again, zin zen I, I I take
- 12:39Speaker 4: like a half hour. I'm sitting there, I'm holding Daisy,
- 12:43Speaker 4: just just relaxing. Okay, I I I can get through this.
- 12:49Speaker 4: This is gonna be okay, roll with it. Except change
- 12:53Speaker 4: I'm doing. I'm trying.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Lord, grant me the the string.
- 13:02Speaker 4: That straight yeah, yeah, the serenity prayer. So I I
- 13:09Speaker 4: I get to a point where I'm okay again. So
- 13:14Speaker 4: put Daisy down to get get put her in her bed,
- 13:16Speaker 4: and like chill, and then I walk into my bedroom
- 13:23Speaker 4: mm hmm. And the cat is on my pillow, and
- 13:27Speaker 4: she looks and she goes, look, he's so comfortable here,
- 13:30Speaker 4: he's at home, the pason is.
- 13:36Speaker 6: And that's when I lose my ship.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Oh God, I'm assuming it's one of the first times
- 13:43Speaker 1: in your life you've probably ever thought, uh that get
- 13:46Speaker 1: that close off my pillow.
- 13:48Speaker 7: Or the first time in your life that you let
- 13:50Speaker 7: somebody drive drunk home an out away.
- 13:53Speaker 2: And then call the police. Honor, here's a crazy woman,
- 13:58Speaker 2: he's driving drunk. You go pick her up.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Guse you got a loose cat in the back.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yeah, be able to show up with a bite suit?
- 14:07Speaker 3: Did you said? Did she? Did you? Did you get
- 14:10Speaker 3: in bed?
- 14:12Speaker 5: No?
- 14:12Speaker 4: At that point I just slept on the sofa.
- 14:17Speaker 6: I I I there.
- 14:19Speaker 4: At that point, all my my attempts at zin were
- 14:23Speaker 4: out the window, and I was fried, and all I
- 14:26Speaker 4: wanted I just time could not go fast enough to
- 14:29Speaker 4: get to the next morning where I could get her
- 14:32Speaker 4: to leave.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Wow.
- 14:34Speaker 2: I feel like this is one of those times.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Because I don't know how often you go to alcoholics
- 14:40Speaker 1: anonymous meetings, but do they.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Have meetings on Saturday nights late?
- 14:47Speaker 1: Because that might have been a good time for you
- 14:48Speaker 1: to go, because I'm not saying that you would have
- 14:50Speaker 1: been tempted to drink in that scenario, but if nothing else,
- 14:52Speaker 1: just to get out of the house and just go
- 14:53Speaker 1: talk to some folks.
- 14:56Speaker 4: And and I mean even to a bunch of drunks.
- 15:01Speaker 4: That would have been a crazy story.
- 15:16Speaker 5: You're in the treehouse.

- 15:38Speaker 5: You're in the treehouse.

- 15:45Speaker 1: It is time to advertise right here inside the treehouse.

- 15:53Speaker 1: an email Treehouse on air at gmail dot com. That's
- 15:56Speaker 1: Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com to advertise right
- 16:01Speaker 1: here inside the treehouse. I'm a little surprised by this.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I didn't realize this until I saw this news story.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Apparently the w NBA has a dildo problem, and it's
- 16:17Speaker 1: actually led to an arrest. An eighteen year old was
- 16:21Speaker 1: arrested for allegedly striking a girl and her uncle with
- 16:27Speaker 1: an adult toy at a w NBA game. Now that
- 16:30Speaker 1: headline makes it sound like he was just running around
- 16:32Speaker 1: hitting people with it, which, if I'm being honest, is
- 16:36Speaker 1: kind of a funny visual. But in actuality, he was arrested.
- 16:42Speaker 1: This eighteen year old was arrested for his alleged involvement
- 16:45Speaker 1: in the latest in a string of incidents involving fans
- 16:49Speaker 1: a WNBA games launching brightly colored adult toys toward the
- 16:54Speaker 1: court during game action. Caden Lopez was taken into custody
- 16:59Speaker 1: by fee Nix police while inside PHX Arena after he
- 17:03Speaker 1: allegedly threw a green dildo and struck a man and
- 17:06Speaker 1: his nine year old niece during Tuesday's contest between the
- 17:10Speaker 1: Mercury and the Sun.
- 17:15Speaker 3: How did what?
- 17:17Speaker 6: How did this get started?
- 17:20Speaker 4: I saw that it had become like a joke thing
- 17:25Speaker 4: that people were throwing I think primarily green dildos.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Green something to do with It's something to do with
- 17:35Speaker 3: Caitlin Clark. That's what it is.
- 17:38Speaker 7: And now it's kind of like I think it's kind
- 17:41Speaker 7: of grown from there. But I think it has something
- 17:44Speaker 7: to do with her, you think, or you know, I
- 17:48Speaker 7: think from what I read on TMZ, it's that's like
- 17:55Speaker 7: one of the things that apparently is happening with something
- 17:58Speaker 7: she said or something she implied or whatever with some
- 18:03Speaker 7: I don't know what the whole story is, but that's
- 18:05Speaker 7: where it started from.
- 18:08Speaker 3: But I mean it could be wrong.
- 18:11Speaker 1: All right, hang on, this is according to USA Today
- 18:15Speaker 1: w NBA. Now, I'm not gonna pay for it.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Go away.
- 18:18Speaker 1: W NBA sex toy controversy explained. Why are they being
- 18:21Speaker 1: thrown on court at games?
- 18:24Speaker 2: Okay, I can give you the answer, Yeah, please do
- 18:28Speaker 2: because they're taking their time getting to the meat of
- 18:30Speaker 2: this story.
- 18:31Speaker 4: So a crypto group has come forward and claiming that
- 18:35Speaker 4: they are responsible because they are launching a green dildo coin.
- 18:41Speaker 2: What a bunch of dicks? Seriously, I mean, what is it.
- 18:48Speaker 1: That's like the back in the day, the streakers at
- 18:52Speaker 1: sporting events and the boxers wearing like the casino, like
- 18:56Speaker 1: the web the web based casino stuff that was drawn
- 18:59Speaker 1: on their backs things.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I forgot what that one was called. So it's it's stunt.
- 19:04Speaker 2: It's girl of marketing, it's stunt advertising. We're gonna throw
- 19:08Speaker 2: a bunch of green green wieners on the court at
- 19:10Speaker 2: a w NBA game in order to promote a new
- 19:14Speaker 2: meme coin.
- 19:15Speaker 6: A green dildo coin.
- 19:18Speaker 3: God, what's the price? Ad if you don't want me?
- 19:24Speaker 2: Hopefully it's going up.
- 19:27Speaker 3: It's going somewhere on the rise.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Our coin will beat the competition.
- 19:36Speaker 3: The Morgan's vibrating on this one.
- 19:40Speaker 6: Yeah, and they did they.
- 19:42Speaker 4: I know they chose obviously Indiana games because those are
- 19:47Speaker 4: the most televised. I mean, I guess they couldn't get
- 19:49Speaker 4: into a soccer match.
- 19:57Speaker 7: Okay, so that's how they tied it into Caitlin Clark, gotcha.
- 20:00Speaker 7: I knew she didn't have I wouldn't even think she
- 20:03Speaker 7: would have anything to do with that, but that's what
- 20:05Speaker 7: I had read.
- 20:06Speaker 2: It's a loose involvement.
- 20:13Speaker 3: This could this could get slippery then.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Well, I mean we're being honest. It is dangerous to
- 20:18Speaker 2: throw anything on the court during a sporting event because
- 20:24Speaker 2: the tripping hazard.
- 20:26Speaker 1: See when I first when I first saw the story,
- 20:29Speaker 1: I think I saw Trey who's the w NBA player.
- 20:31Speaker 6: That you really like, Sophie Cunningham.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I saw that she had posted something online before the
- 20:37Speaker 1: story about the eighteen year old getting arrested, Like the
- 20:39Speaker 1: day before, Sophie Cunningham had posted on social media, please
- 20:43Speaker 1: stop throwing dildos on the court during games. And at
- 20:46Speaker 1: first I thought that was a joke or it was
- 20:49Speaker 1: just you know, a fake screenshop, but no, she actually
- 20:51Speaker 1: posted that because it's a real threat.
- 20:56Speaker 2: And I was a little surprised by that.
- 20:59Speaker 12: It's it's it's certainly sexist, dangerous, but I also thought, well,
- 21:06Speaker 12: is it Are they trying to make it some type
- 21:08Speaker 12: of a compliment.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Is it some sort of an item of congratulations? Like
- 21:14Speaker 1: what I mean is in hockey they have the hat
- 21:17Speaker 1: to get thrown on the rink for a hat trick,
- 21:20Speaker 1: or in some cases they'll even throw an octopus in
- 21:23Speaker 1: the middle of the ice rink. So I wondered, is
- 21:26Speaker 1: someone throwing these green adult toys on the courts at
- 21:29Speaker 1: w NBA games because someone did something really cool?
- 21:31Speaker 2: But I guess not.
- 21:33Speaker 3: It's the the weirdest way to celebrate. But I mean
- 21:37Speaker 3: it's also functional. They can keep them.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I mean that's true. I mean, as a hockey player,
- 21:44Speaker 2: what are you gonna do with the octopus?
- 21:45Speaker 3: At least with it?
- 21:46Speaker 1: You know, if you're a basketball player and there's an
- 21:48Speaker 1: adult toy thrown on their court, and it's.
- 21:49Speaker 3: Like, well, yeah, it's the w NBA, so you'll save
- 21:56Speaker 3: you a trip to the sport.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Yeah, can't wait for the halftime show.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Push one note a writer out of the way.

- 22:56Speaker 1: that suggestion that you threw out the other day, Trey,
- 22:58Speaker 1: share the show with a friend directly or on social
- 23:02Speaker 1: media saying you know what I love listening to the

- 23:16Speaker 1: There's more to the story that's true with just about
- 23:20Speaker 1: any story we talk about here inside the Treehouse. We
- 23:23Speaker 1: don't always get to it, but there is a little
- 23:26Speaker 1: more to Trey being single that we need to dig
- 23:29Speaker 1: in on.
- 23:30Speaker 2: So I understand you had a rough date.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Over the weekend, and I'm glad you powered through it
- 23:37Speaker 1: as best as humanly possible, and you're not taking it
- 23:43Speaker 1: lying down. You've actually taken a step a bold step
- 23:47Speaker 1: forward to coming out of singletom Trey. Would you like
- 23:51Speaker 1: to share with all of us inside the treehouse what
- 23:53Speaker 1: you've done?
- 23:56Speaker 4: So I had mentioned before that there were these events
- 24:00Speaker 4: on the Katie Trail called the Dainty Trail, and they
- 24:03Speaker 4: were having a thirty five plus event. It's like, all right,
- 24:08Speaker 4: you know that maybe that might be fun, Okay. I
- 24:12Speaker 4: saw some people post some things that made me think
- 24:16Speaker 4: that fifty.
- 24:17Speaker 6: Was not going to be just out of the age limit.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Then the day they put the tickets on sale, they
- 24:25Speaker 4: literally sold out in like three minutes. Oh all right, shucks,
- 24:35Speaker 4: darn okay, wait for the next.
- 24:37Speaker 3: One, dead gumment.
- 24:39Speaker 4: Yeah, and understandably, like they where their last event, I
- 24:43Speaker 4: think they had like seven hundred people. They had only
- 24:46Speaker 4: booked in a venue that holds like one hundred and
- 24:48Speaker 4: fifty for this one, not knowing that the outpouring would
- 24:51Speaker 4: be so strong for the thirty five plus crowd. So
- 24:56Speaker 4: then the girl who started this thing, her name's Abby.
- 24:59Speaker 4: She posts on social media that they were still looking
- 25:02Speaker 4: for some men thirty five plus to balance out and
- 25:05Speaker 4: make sure the ratios were okay for this event.
- 25:08Speaker 2: M oh so, that means a bunch of women bought
- 25:10Speaker 2: the tickets early.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Yes, oh no, there you go.
- 25:14Speaker 6: So I saw this post.
- 25:16Speaker 4: It was honestly, it was close to a day after
- 25:18Speaker 4: she had posted it, so I but I messaged her,
- 25:20Speaker 4: was like, hey, I don't know. You know, if fifty
- 25:21Speaker 4: one is too old, no big deal. But if not,
- 25:23Speaker 4: you know, if there are any tickets left, I'd love one.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Here's some photos of me and my three pounds shahuahua.
- 25:31Speaker 4: I messaged her over Instagrams and I was like, you know,
- 25:33Speaker 4: she's really that curious whatever, but she was very kind.
- 25:35Speaker 6: He was like, she was like, no, no, fifty one
- 25:37Speaker 6: is a perfect age. Yeah right uh at uh sent
- 25:42Speaker 6: me a link and I got a ticket. I am
- 25:47Speaker 6: now petrified. I am so scared.
- 25:51Speaker 2: You bought a ticket to the Daity Trail. Yeah, yay,
- 25:55Speaker 2: train go.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Bruh, I am.
- 25:58Speaker 6: I regret this so badly.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Don't regret it. We haven't done anything to ruin it yet.
- 26:06Speaker 4: You you can't you Yeah.
- 26:12Speaker 1: First of all, I'm gonna need you to live stream
- 26:15Speaker 1: you at the Deity Trail.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:17Speaker 1: And then and then put me and Raj in an
- 26:20Speaker 1: earbud in your phone so you can FaceTime so we
- 26:23Speaker 1: can see everyone that you're talking to and we can help.
- 26:26Speaker 2: We can Serrheno de bergeract our way through this.
- 26:28Speaker 6: Yeah that's what I want.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Yeah, you should. All you gotta do is just say anything,
- 26:32Speaker 2: Raj and I tell you to say, you'll be just fine.
- 26:35Speaker 4: Yeah, that sounds like a great idea.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Seriously, though, that's awesome. I'm glad you're doing it.
- 26:41Speaker 6: You're glad for the content.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I mean I'm also glad for you as my friend
- 26:48Speaker 1: and maybe have somebody special. But yeah, yeah, content, Yeah,
- 26:53Speaker 1: I'm going with the odds. I'm going with the odds.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Content is definitely gonna be there. So that's that's what
- 26:57Speaker 1: I'm happy about.
- 26:58Speaker 4: I mean, there is, ironically the day after this event,
- 27:02Speaker 4: so this is be on Thursday, so Friday I will
- 27:04Speaker 4: celebrate nine years sobriety and uh is.
- 27:10Speaker 6: It Friday.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Right, I'm sorry, Sunday, it'll be five years or nine years, sobriety.
- 27:23Speaker 4: I if there's ever one time we're drinking really comes
- 27:25Speaker 4: into play, it's stuff like this.
- 27:28Speaker 5: That is.
- 27:29Speaker 4: I don't miss alcohol in any way, shape or form,
- 27:32Speaker 4: but the you know, the tenth foot tall and bulletproof
- 27:36Speaker 4: feeling that it gives you certainly helps.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Yeah, there's there's something to be said about the liquid courage.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Provide a high alcohol.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Right, just do a weed coming and see what happens.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Oh no, yeah, that's what I want to roll the
- 27:48Speaker 4: dice and how those hit me.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Yeah, let's not do that. Let's just let's just go
- 27:52Speaker 1: song cold sober tray. So what can you tell us
- 27:57Speaker 1: about the event? I mean, obviously don't tell us where
- 27:59Speaker 1: it is or thing like that, but do you know
- 28:02Speaker 1: is there some type of theme?
- 28:03Speaker 2: Is it? Is it a mixer?
- 28:05Speaker 3: Like? What is it?
- 28:07Speaker 6: Yeah? I mean it's kind of like a mixer.
- 28:09Speaker 4: It's like a happy hour and and okay, they have
- 28:11Speaker 4: it reserved.
- 28:12Speaker 1: And I don't know if they were doing just like
- 28:14Speaker 1: a happy hour with name tags or is it a
- 28:16Speaker 1: speed dating thing. Now, it's just they're just gonna take
- 28:18Speaker 1: all these thirty five plus people that bought tickets and
- 28:21Speaker 1: lock them in a room and to see what happens.
- 28:23Speaker 7: Yeah, it's a mixer, basically, everyone you know that room
- 28:28Speaker 7: is going to be passed out by nine.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Ah And now I really I I'm wondering if I
- 28:37Speaker 4: can take my emotional support shuahua, because that's oh.
- 28:42Speaker 3: You got to go, that's you.
- 28:44Speaker 2: You would destroy that party.
- 28:47Speaker 4: I think that's the only way I make it through.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Because yeah, I mean, I haven't Daisy's in her or
- 28:55Speaker 4: her senior years. I haven't pimped her out in a while.
- 28:57Speaker 4: But I think she's still.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Up for it. She's tray, she's got she's got one
- 29:01Speaker 2: more good run in her.
- 29:05Speaker 7: You show up with the toothless Latina. Oh, it's gonna
- 29:07Speaker 7: be great. Yeah, yeah.
- 29:09Speaker 1: You You take Daisy, your three pound chihuahua, and see
- 29:12Speaker 1: if you can find the tiniest pap poose you can
- 29:16Speaker 1: and strap her to your chest. And by the way,
- 29:19Speaker 1: if that doesn't work, if you can't find a pappoo's
- 29:22Speaker 1: small enough, just go to defend her outdoors and just
- 29:25Speaker 1: get a holster.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Just get a chest holster. She'll fit right in there.
- 29:29Speaker 3: I have a dog sling for that I use for grace.
- 29:32Speaker 1: So do you show up with your three pounds chihuahua
- 29:35Speaker 1: on your chest at this Daity Trail event.
- 29:38Speaker 2: You will be the only person in the room. You
- 29:40Speaker 2: will be you. It'll be it'll be the shining spotlight
- 29:44Speaker 2: right over you.
- 29:45Speaker 7: You will clean up. I'm excited to see what happened.
- 29:50Speaker 7: You gotta do it.
- 29:51Speaker 3: You can't not take her.
- 29:52Speaker 2: I mean I understand it's not fair to all the
- 29:54Speaker 2: other guys, but I mean it's a thirty drink, it's fair.
- 30:02Speaker 6: That yeah.
- 30:03Speaker 1: And since it's thirty five plus, you're fifty one, So
- 30:07Speaker 1: I mean, granted, you look great for fifty one, but
- 30:10Speaker 1: you need a bit of an angle. Once you tell
- 30:12Speaker 1: someone I'm fifty one, they won't hear it because they'll
- 30:15Speaker 1: be so focused on your chihuah wad be.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Like, oh, he's fifty one, or I'm excited for you.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I'm sure you are.
- 30:24Speaker 3: I am.
- 30:24Speaker 6: I'm genuinely excited for it.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I know, I am.

- 31:45Speaker 1: character as long as.
- 31:46Speaker 2: They love me.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, and good on him for it. Other
- 31:51Speaker 1: birthdays today. Will Friedel turns forty eight. May not know

- 32:03Speaker 1: Will Friedel forty nine years old today. He's also on
- 32:07Speaker 1: Kim Possible. He was also Batman on Batman Beyond and

- 32:16Speaker 1: He plays or played Danny on The Mindy Project. Christmas
- 32:19Speaker 1: Sina is fifty one. Walter White's wife Skyler on Breaking Bad.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Her name is Anna Gunn. She is fifty seven today.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Joe Rogan, biggest podcaster in the world, is fifty eight
- 32:34Speaker 1: years old today. Joe Rogan fifty eight years old today.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Before that, he was an actor and a comedian Viola
- 32:42Speaker 1: Davis turns sixty. She's Amanda Waller in the Suicide Squad movies,
- 32:46Speaker 1: among a number of other projects. Fantastic actress Viola Davis
- 32:50Speaker 1: is sixty, Joe Jackson is seventy one, Joe Jackson seventy one,
- 32:56Speaker 1: and Hulk Hogan not quite make it to seventy two,
- 33:03Speaker 1: missed it by that much.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Joe Jackson's not dead. That's the patriot right of the
- 33:13Speaker 3: Japson find.
- 33:14Speaker 1: This is the would be singer who did stepping Out,
- 33:16Speaker 1: not the guy who turned Michael Jackson into a plastic
- 33:19Speaker 1: surgery addicted junkie.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Okay, this is.
- 33:22Speaker 2: A different Joe Jackson. I think I think that Joe
- 33:25Speaker 2: Jackson is much older, if not.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Dead, I think he's dead.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is different Joe. Stop being at
- 33:33Speaker 2: Joe Jackson.
- 33:34Speaker 3: He's so much older. He's dead.
- 33:37Speaker 2: That is what happens.
- 33:39Speaker 1: And then yeah, you've got Hulk Hogan almost made it
- 33:42Speaker 1: to seventy two, but he didn't.
- 33:44Speaker 2: He finished at seventy one.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Country singer John Conley is seventy nine and Ian McDermott
- 33:50Speaker 1: turns eighty one today. He is best known as the
- 33:55Speaker 1: Emperor Slash Darth Sidious and Supreme Chancellor Palp the team
- 34:00Speaker 1: in the Star Wars movies. One of the few guys
- 34:02Speaker 1: that actually was able to be in the original movies
- 34:06Speaker 1: and play the same character throughout the entire.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Ring or run of films.
- 34:15Speaker 1: So the guy that was the mean, Mean Emperor in
- 34:18Speaker 1: Return of the Jedi all the way back in nineteen
- 34:20Speaker 1: eighty three, oh okay, reprised his role for the origin
- 34:25Speaker 1: movies the prequel movies in the early two thousands, and
- 34:29Speaker 1: then did it again for the last installment of the
- 34:33Speaker 1: Star Wars movies, where he was supposedly a clone of himself.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Gotcha, So happy birthday, yeah McDermid. He turns eighty.
- 34:44Speaker 1: One today, and that's really Yeah, that's all the birthdays
- 34:47Speaker 1: for today. Not a whole lot of great ones.
- 34:48Speaker 2: They're just there.
- 34:50Speaker 1: But it does give us a brief opportunity to appreciate
- 34:54Speaker 1: the Star Wars movie.
- 34:56Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I couldn't say it straight faced.
- 34:59Speaker 1: The more the the more I look back on them,
- 35:01Speaker 1: the more the more frustrated by them I am.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Now that being said, I watched the Indoor series.
- 35:06Speaker 1: And then, uh, it's it's long and it's slow, but
- 35:10Speaker 1: the storytelling and the acting is phenomenal. And I took
- 35:14Speaker 1: that and it ramps right up into Rogue One, which
- 35:18Speaker 1: so I then rewatched Rogue One.
- 35:21Speaker 2: That movie is so good. So so it is.
- 35:26Speaker 4: But again, I am telling you watch the last three,
- 35:31Speaker 4: then go back and watch the first three of the trilogy,
- 35:35Speaker 4: the one, the early two thousands one, and I'm telling
- 35:38Speaker 4: you they they're not near as bad as we thought
- 35:40Speaker 4: they were.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I believe you.
- 35:44Speaker 7: And God no, I was gonna say, how is I
- 35:48Speaker 7: was happy Gilmore too.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I don't want to talk about it.

- 36:43Speaker 2: The Treehouse Show is on YouTube. We were just talking
- 36:48Speaker 2: about movies a little bit here, so I'm going to
- 36:51Speaker 2: throw this at you. Okay, have we all seen Home Alone?
- 36:55Speaker 1: Yes, the classic Christmas film from nineteen ninety Yes, did
- 37:00Speaker 1: you know this about the movie Home Alone. Mccauleay culkin
- 37:06Speaker 1: stunt double and Home Alone was a thirty year old
- 37:10Speaker 1: man named Larry. Yes, So how's that for a did
- 37:17Speaker 1: you know? Did you know macaulay Culkin's stunt double and
- 37:20Speaker 1: Home Alone was actually a thirty year old man?
- 37:24Speaker 2: Rog you said you knew this?
- 37:25Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 37:26Speaker 6: How did you know that?
- 37:27Speaker 3: And I didn't.
- 37:29Speaker 7: My ex her whole family little people, so they have
- 37:35Speaker 7: like they know all the people that do all the stuff,
- 37:37Speaker 7: and then they get.
- 37:37Speaker 2: All the newsletters from all the other little.
- 37:39Speaker 3: People basically like, yeah, you did you know that that
- 37:45Speaker 3: was actually full grown human?
- 37:48Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, okay, well that would technically
- 37:51Speaker 2: be full grown for them. Mcaulay culkin was on the
- 37:59Speaker 2: latest episode of Hot Ones. That's the show where they
- 38:01Speaker 2: eat the hot wings. During the interview.
- 38:05Speaker 1: And he was asked to fact check some rumors about
- 38:09Speaker 1: Home Alone, and one of the things that he confirmed
- 38:12Speaker 1: is that his stunt double was a thirty year old
- 38:16Speaker 1: man named Larry.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Now, McCauley was nine years old at the time. He
- 38:20Speaker 2: knew Larry was quote unquote much older, but he thought
- 38:24Speaker 2: that he was thirteen. McCauley remembered being worried about Larry when.
- 38:29Speaker 1: He had to do a stunt where he falls from
- 38:30Speaker 1: a collapsed shelf, saying it was a vicious first take.
- 38:34Speaker 1: They didn't like the way everything felt, and they do
- 38:36Speaker 1: it again, and they do it again, and I'm going
- 38:38Speaker 1: please take it easy on Larry.
- 38:40Speaker 2: He's only thirteen years.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Old and actuality Larry the stunt Double is thirty. And
- 38:52Speaker 1: I guess he took it just fine. So now I
- 38:57Speaker 1: want to go back and rewatch home alone to see
- 38:59Speaker 1: if I can spot Larry the stunt double, because there
- 39:01Speaker 1: are some movies that do a good job at hiding
- 39:04Speaker 1: the stunt doubles.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Then there are older movies like this where if if
- 39:08Speaker 1: you look really closely, you can see you're just like, yeah,
- 39:11Speaker 1: that's not the actor.
- 39:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:14Speaker 7: Some of you don't even have to look that close,
- 39:16Speaker 7: like True Lies like you can see like Arnold Schwartzenegger's
- 39:19Speaker 7: stunt double, and then Lethal Weapon like you can see
- 39:21Speaker 7: Mel Gibson's stunt double.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Really well, it's so bad. Yeah. All they do is
- 39:28Speaker 3: just put a mullet on somebody.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Uh uh.
- 39:33Speaker 1: He also did mention on this interview. Mcaulay Culkin also
- 39:36Speaker 1: mentioned during this interview that his because you're a stranger
- 39:40Speaker 1: line to the grocery store clerk. All his idea wasn't
- 39:43Speaker 1: even in the script, which is phenomenal because that line
- 39:47Speaker 1: is so perfectly delivered in that movie, which is amazing
- 39:50Speaker 1: for a nine year old.
- 39:52Speaker 2: And the photo of Buzz's girlfriend.
