In a tense May 2026 incident in Superior, Wisconsin, Officer Ronald Robinson fired after Scott Roe allegedly lunged toward him with a knife. Though Roe had reportedly requested police to shoot him, bodycam footage and witness accounts—including from injured bystander Macy Johnson—showed Robinson acted after seeing Roe advance with a weapon.
