00:00:50,900 I want to lead Dr. Dre Franklin. 18 00:00:50,900 --> 00:00:54,700 Dr. Dre, you have my permission to listen to the voices 19 00:00:54,700 --> 00:00:56,700 in your head, my friend. 20 00:00:57,700 --> 00:00:59,700 Yeah, you don't want me doing that. 21 00:00:59,700 --> 00:01:01,700 I will end up in jail at that point. 22 00:01:01,700 --> 00:01:07,700 So I've been good to just kind of listen, take advice, 23 00:01:07,700 --> 00:01:10,700 and then it's the happy Gilmore thing. 24 00:01:10,700 --> 00:01:12,700 Let in the good, block out the bad. 25 00:01:12,700 --> 00:01:14,700 That's how I handled the voices in my head. 26 00:01:14,700 --> 00:01:16,700 And that should be life lessons for all of us. 27 00:01:16,700 --> 00:01:19,700 And that'll do it for this week's edition of Storrava Show. 28 00:01:19,700 --> 00:01:22,700 Go patreon.com/SRTUpodcast. 29 00:01:22,700 --> 00:01:25,700 Dr. Dre, a big week in the world of professional wrestling. 30 00:01:25,700 --> 00:01:29,700 As we saw one feud, one major match throttle up. 31 00:01:29,700 --> 00:01:34,700 We have a new match to add to the WrestleMania 42 card 32 00:01:34,700 --> 00:01:35,700 and a whole lot more. 33 00:01:35,700 --> 00:01:36,700 So let's get right into it here. 34 00:01:36,700 --> 00:01:39,700 We will also recap AW Revolution in just a little bit. 35 00:01:39,700 --> 00:01:41,700 Let's start with Friday Night Smackdown, Dr. Dre. 36 00:01:41,700 --> 00:01:45,700 I think this is the top story of the week as Randy Orton 37 00:01:45,700 --> 00:01:50,700 closes out Smackdown beating the shit out of Cody Rhodes. 38 00:01:50,700 --> 00:01:53,700 Cody given him the green light to listen to the voices 39 00:01:53,700 --> 00:01:56,700 in his head in a great memorable segment. 40 00:01:56,700 --> 00:01:58,700 There's more on the follow up when it comes to Monday night, 41 00:01:58,700 --> 00:02:00,700 Ron, who Randy Orton was talking to. 42 00:02:00,700 --> 00:02:03,700 But Randy Orton turns heel. 43 00:02:03,700 --> 00:02:06,700 And now we are throttling up here at the Cody Rhodes Randy Orton match, 44 00:02:06,700 --> 00:02:09,700 which on last week's podcast, we sat here and said, 45 00:02:09,700 --> 00:02:10,700 "This is kind of mundane. 46 00:02:10,700 --> 00:02:11,700 We need something to ramp us up." 47 00:02:11,700 --> 00:02:14,700 I think WWE tapped into it this past Friday. 48 00:02:14,700 --> 00:02:17,700 You know, the weird thing was, I did watch it live. 49 00:02:17,700 --> 00:02:19,700 So I got the clips. 50 00:02:19,700 --> 00:02:23,700 And at first, knock a light when they showed the clip of Orton 51 00:02:23,700 --> 00:02:26,700 kicking Cody in the groin. 52 00:02:26,700 --> 00:02:30,700 The way his body moved kind of looked AI to me. 53 00:02:30,700 --> 00:02:33,700 And so I was like, did they really do this? 54 00:02:33,700 --> 00:02:36,700 And so I had to go back and actually watch the show. 55 00:02:36,700 --> 00:02:40,700 And it's entirety to make sure there wasn't like AI generated clip. 56 00:02:40,700 --> 00:02:41,700 I found a Facebook. 57 00:02:41,700 --> 00:02:46,700 But yeah, I mean, they really, I don't know if they, 58 00:02:46,700 --> 00:02:49,700 I don't know if they, I don't want to say they overdid it. 59 00:02:49,700 --> 00:02:54,700 But they went from zero to 95 just about faster than anything else I've seen. 60 00:02:54,700 --> 00:03:00,700 I mean, that was as quick of an escalation since maybe last year's 61 00:03:00,700 --> 00:03:03,700 elimination chamber with Cena turning on Cody Rhodes. 62 00:03:03,700 --> 00:03:10,700 I mean, the beat down with Rock and Travis Scott and John Cena on Cody was pretty bad. 63 00:03:10,700 --> 00:03:15,700 This might have been like as bad as the Rock beating down Cody in the rain 64 00:03:15,700 --> 00:03:17,700 with the, with in call out Mama Rhodes. 65 00:03:17,700 --> 00:03:22,700 But for, for what we went through where these guys were amicable. 66 00:03:22,700 --> 00:03:26,700 And then to that escalation, what was pretty severe, pretty major. 67 00:03:26,700 --> 00:03:31,700 And you know, it got me excited for a match that on paper, 68 00:03:31,700 --> 00:03:33,700 I was excited for just being a damn good match. 69 00:03:33,700 --> 00:03:37,700 And now you got, now you made it personal or, you know, 70 00:03:37,700 --> 00:03:40,700 just up that escalation level. 71 00:03:40,700 --> 00:03:43,700 Now I'm kind of like, yeah, let's see how far they go with this thing. 72 00:03:43,700 --> 00:03:47,700 Yeah, I would have guessed a Randy Orton heel turn like after the WrestleMania match, 73 00:03:47,700 --> 00:03:49,700 like leading into backlash. 74 00:03:49,700 --> 00:03:51,700 That's where I would have said, okay, the probability will rematch. 75 00:03:51,700 --> 00:03:54,700 Or maybe they'll do the fatal four way, fatal five way, the doctor train. 76 00:03:54,700 --> 00:03:57,700 I've been pitching for weeks and weeks and weeks here and pull that off at backlash. 77 00:03:57,700 --> 00:04:02,700 And that's where we see Randy Orton turn heel like maybe leading into that show. 78 00:04:02,700 --> 00:04:05,700 I would have said more likely after the show if you took another L, 79 00:04:05,700 --> 00:04:07,700 that's where Orton goes into it. 80 00:04:07,700 --> 00:04:10,700 And then that feud continues on and on for the rest of the summer, 81 00:04:10,700 --> 00:04:12,700 heading into like summer slam. 82 00:04:12,700 --> 00:04:17,700 They ramp things up and rightfully so things have been very stagnant for WWE right now. 83 00:04:17,700 --> 00:04:20,700 WrestleMania in general was pretty stagnant. 84 00:04:20,700 --> 00:04:24,700 I feel like this past week on at least two moments, 85 00:04:24,700 --> 00:04:27,700 one on SmackDown, one on Raw, where I was like, okay, 86 00:04:27,700 --> 00:04:29,700 we're now we're getting to the WrestleMania fields. 87 00:04:29,700 --> 00:04:34,700 And that moment obviously is the one we're talking about right now with Randy Orton being the hell out of Cody Rhodes. 88 00:04:34,700 --> 00:04:37,700 It was not predictable, which is great. 89 00:04:37,700 --> 00:04:40,700 I think the Randy Orton character can be pretty predictable, 90 00:04:40,700 --> 00:04:42,700 especially off of DotaBee Creative. 91 00:04:42,700 --> 00:04:47,700 I did not have on my Bingo card like Randy Orton heel turn because it's similar to 92 00:04:47,700 --> 00:04:53,700 John Cena, very few handful wrestlers. 93 00:04:53,700 --> 00:04:55,700 Like literally I would use Randy Orton as the example. 94 00:04:55,700 --> 00:04:58,700 I think a lot of fans myself included in this point in his career. 95 00:04:58,700 --> 00:05:00,700 Like I don't want to boot Randy Orton. 96 00:05:00,700 --> 00:05:03,700 And I'm not thinking that Randy Orton gets booze on Friday basically. 97 00:05:03,700 --> 00:05:05,700 You know, I think he gets cheered still. 98 00:05:05,700 --> 00:05:07,700 I think this is the Randy Orton people love. 99 00:05:07,700 --> 00:05:12,700 When people reach a certain point in their career and the amount of mileage that they've done and years that they've done, 100 00:05:12,700 --> 00:05:14,700 you know, I don't want to see another heel turn. 101 00:05:14,700 --> 00:05:21,700 And that was the case with Randy, but they did it and Randy's heel turn on Friday night was great. 102 00:05:21,700 --> 00:05:22,700 It made a ton of sense. 103 00:05:22,700 --> 00:05:24,700 It's showing the desperation for the title again. 104 00:05:24,700 --> 00:05:26,700 He wants to be a 15 time world champion. 105 00:05:26,700 --> 00:05:30,700 He's been out of that title picture now for years. 106 00:05:30,700 --> 00:05:34,700 I think the last time was like WrestleMania 33 when he was shooting with Bre Wyatt. 107 00:05:34,700 --> 00:05:37,700 It was the last time he held the WWE Championship. 108 00:05:37,700 --> 00:05:38,700 It's been a long time. 109 00:05:38,700 --> 00:05:44,700 And this is a guy that from 2004 to about 2017 held the championship pretty regularly. 110 00:05:44,700 --> 00:05:48,700 Like, you know, some decent long reign, some period of time has been held at multiple years. 111 00:05:48,700 --> 00:05:51,700 Where he was in the title picture for a period of time. 112 00:05:51,700 --> 00:05:54,700 And he's taken a back seat, become more of a little bit of veteran. 113 00:05:54,700 --> 00:05:55,700 Been cheered a lot more. 114 00:05:55,700 --> 00:05:59,700 He had a great feud with Edge in the early 2020s. 115 00:05:59,700 --> 00:06:02,700 And then ever really since then people just kind of have loved Randy. 116 00:06:02,700 --> 00:06:07,700 If you don't, you know, do in the arcade bro stuff, Roman Reigns, being a pal with Cody Rhodes. 117 00:06:07,700 --> 00:06:09,700 And now we're getting the Viper back. 118 00:06:09,700 --> 00:06:10,700 And this is the Randy that we're seeing. 119 00:06:10,700 --> 00:06:12,700 And he's pretty timeless. 120 00:06:12,700 --> 00:06:14,700 Like not to steal a phrase from Tony Storm. 121 00:06:14,700 --> 00:06:18,700 But I feel like Randy Orton is just a timeless person and character, Dr. Trey. 122 00:06:18,700 --> 00:06:24,700 There's Randy Orton in 2006, reminds me of Randy Orton in 2005, 2006, 2010. 123 00:06:24,700 --> 00:06:26,700 Like, this is pretty cool. 124 00:06:26,700 --> 00:06:27,700 I love the segment. 125 00:06:27,700 --> 00:06:30,700 And I like the direction that they go with this field right now. 126 00:06:30,700 --> 00:06:40,700 Yeah, I like that you say he's timeless because I mean, he's, you know, approaching 50 and he's arguably still as good in the ring as he's ever been. 127 00:06:40,700 --> 00:06:42,700 He's bigger than he's ever been. 128 00:06:42,700 --> 00:06:46,700 Like, I mean, you look at Randy Orton's circle like 2010. 129 00:06:46,700 --> 00:06:48,700 He was built like a snake. 130 00:06:48,700 --> 00:06:49,700 He was tall and lanky. 131 00:06:49,700 --> 00:06:55,700 And now this one's more like a bokeh shirt like this is like, you know, beast mode, Randy Orton. 132 00:06:55,700 --> 00:07:06,700 But yeah, I was when you, when you reference the heel turned, I'm like, I think for people, our age is not even a heel turn. 133 00:07:06,700 --> 00:07:09,700 It's kind of like, no, we're still going to cheer Randy Orton. 134 00:07:09,700 --> 00:07:14,700 It is kind of, it's a weird dynamic where the kids are going to be more upset about it. 135 00:07:14,700 --> 00:07:17,700 But the adults are like, no, no, this is, this is the Randy Orton. 136 00:07:17,700 --> 00:07:18,700 We all love. 137 00:07:18,700 --> 00:07:30,700 So you're probably are going to hear like a weird split when these two get go face to face and you might hear the kids and the women cheering for Cody and the men cheering for Randy. 138 00:07:30,700 --> 00:07:32,700 So it's in, it's an interesting dynamic. 139 00:07:32,700 --> 00:07:42,700 They kind of depends on if this stays a one on one feud or if they do end up building like a little stable around Randy Orton, then you know he's a heel. 140 00:07:42,700 --> 00:07:46,700 But if this stays one on one, you know, it might be a little bit true. 141 00:07:46,700 --> 00:07:50,700 Mackenzie, I think we're drew is still going to a lot of cheers and his view with Cody. 142 00:07:50,700 --> 00:07:53,700 Randy's going to get way more than drew God. 143 00:07:53,700 --> 00:08:04,700 I guess on paper to heel turn, but I don't think you're going to hear that just that genuine animosity that John Cena got postlimation chamber for a while. 144 00:08:04,700 --> 00:08:07,700 I think people are still going to cheer for Randy Orton. 145 00:08:07,700 --> 00:08:12,700 Yeah, no, I'm totally with you. I think people are really down with his character. I be in one of them. 146 00:08:12,700 --> 00:08:21,700 So, and I'm not a Cody hater, but I think Cody is getting into that echelon of John Cena, 2005, 6, 7, where people are going to start revolting on him. 147 00:08:21,700 --> 00:08:27,700 And this is the perfect character for the adults to go, you know, F you to the kids favorite wrestler when it comes to Cody Rhodes. 148 00:08:27,700 --> 00:08:34,700 The second part of this equation, Dr. Trey was Monday Night Raw. Michael Colp's got to sit down and interview with Randy Orton to explain his actions. 149 00:08:34,700 --> 00:08:50,700 He refused that interview, but prior to refusing the interview, he's on the phone with somebody saying it's good to see you like revitalizing who he was and, you know, alludes to something that wrestling has more than one royal family, which is the top of Cody Rhodes theme song, obviously. 150 00:08:50,700 --> 00:09:02,700 Who do you think Randy Orton was talking to and is this someone that actually plays into an equation of this feud or is it just kind of like a throwaway moment, or he's just randomly on the phone with someone. 151 00:09:02,700 --> 00:09:20,700 No, I think they don't do anything randomly in WWE anymore like there's there's a methodology to it. I've seen some people, you know, throw out some guesses. I saw somebody throw it out the the Rick Flair Charlotte Flair guess I've seen Kevin Owens. 152 00:09:20,700 --> 00:09:41,700 I think I might, I think I might lean KO over anybody else right now because if you throw Randy KO and Sammy together later on after all this stuff kind of ties up and we get post-Rustle made it that might be an interesting dynamic to go with. 153 00:09:41,700 --> 00:09:52,700 I've seen the Ethan Page Ricky Saints type thing where it's it's Randy forming a version of legacy based with two guys who have history with Cody as well. 154 00:09:52,700 --> 00:09:59,700 So those would be my top two picks is either KO or Ethan Page Ricky starts type. 155 00:09:59,700 --> 00:10:16,700 KO would be interesting that would be really really fun and interesting I know people are saying Rick Flair. So I think I saw stuff for like Stephanie McMahon, his father pop Orton Senior it's it's intriguing is a nice added layer and we will get the reveal on Friday Smackdown. 156 00:10:16,700 --> 00:10:30,700 So Cody Rhodes Randy Orton full seam head towards WrestleMania very, very nice segment to really kick things into gear for that feud that was kind of stagnant since it was announced a couple weeks ago once Cody Rhodes defeated true Mac entire. 157 00:10:30,700 --> 00:10:59,700 Dr. Shrewd we have a new match now added to WrestleMania 42 and I would say this is the second biggest moment of the week on Monday Night Raw. Seth Rollins comes out with the mass men Paul Heyman comes out says you know do the F around and find out acronym and you're going to pay for your actions last week Brock Lesnar comes out Brock tries to go after Seth Rollins he takes out the mass men and light to go out and Oba Femmy's music hits we've we've talked about this now. 158 00:10:59,700 --> 00:11:07,700 Here and there over the last month since Lesnar said he was going to be announcing an opponent for WrestleMania 42 where we see an open challenge this was a big match. 159 00:11:07,700 --> 00:11:23,700 We talked about Oba Femmy we talked about Gunther it is Oba Femmy it's official Oba Femmy versus Brock Lesnar it was a great moment very excited moment the fans loved it aided up and this is a huge test for a very young star and Oba Femmy to be in that ring with Brock Lesnar. 160 00:11:23,700 --> 00:11:35,700 He manhandled him on my name and not many people do that it's very very few in far between that Brock let's people do that to him and Oba Femmy was one of the made him look small which is hard to do. 161 00:11:35,700 --> 00:11:46,700 This is an exciting match on paper Dr. Trey it will be interesting if it pays off at WrestleMania 42 but here we are Oba versus Brock your thoughts on the segment and then match becoming official. 162 00:11:46,700 --> 00:12:15,700 Love the segment because it started intertwining I don't know I love with segments intertwined like three different stories like I just it's seamlessly transition from you know Seth to Seth and Paul to Seth and Brock to Brock and Oba like really really well done and it kind of reminded me back of Drew McIntyre Brock Lesnar when you if you remember when Brock was on stage with the title bell Drew came out Claymore to many times. 163 00:12:15,700 --> 00:12:33,700 And Brock told him to pick up the belt you saw the same thing like after Oba hit the the fall from Grace power bomb on him you saw Brock kind of like tell him like hey step on me him point the sign Brock doesn't do for people that he doesn't believe it. 164 00:12:33,700 --> 00:12:58,700 You know we we still talk to this day talk about the Brock Lesnar Dean Ambrose match and how Brock really wasn't into it you can tell what Brock into something by how much he sells for his opponent and I think he's taking a shine to this Oba Femmy kid so to speak and he's going to help him put the the Rock a ship to his back and launch him into the next level. 165 00:12:58,700 --> 00:13:19,700 Yeah this is a very very telling match of WrestleMania well plenty of time to discuss whether or not Brock should be taking the L for Oba to help him out this will be Oba's first main roster PL first WrestleMania this is a huge match to be in what we see a torched passing moment at WrestleMania 42 we have weeks and weeks to discuss that but it's official Brock Lesnar Oba Femmy. 166 00:13:19,700 --> 00:13:31,700 WrestleMania 42 should be a huge match up really the comfort of the build and the several in the next couple of weeks which also begs the question I guess over now is on Monday at raw see that becomes official as well. 167 00:13:31,700 --> 00:13:46,700 Next year Dr. Trey we had CM Punk and Roman Reigns who have been doing a lot of like if this was a baseball Acronic acronym I would say these guys were hitting solid doubles with their segments each and every week the back and forth and stuff nothing 168 00:13:46,700 --> 00:14:15,700 nothing that was a true home run nothing that was even close to a trouble just very solid contact these two guys were bringing to build their match and feud heading to WrestleMania 42 however another great back and forth segment on the microphone which is kind of getting a little mundane you know we got to kind of get out of this little bit I'm being a little impatient but the line of your old is the one that sends Punk over the edge after punk said what he said about Roman Reigns's father. 169 00:14:15,700 --> 00:14:43,700 I thought that was really lame and and weird honestly there are reports out there that Reigns was supposed to go a little bit dark when it came to his dog a punk dog Larry and you have to wonder if like punk completely cut that out which I wouldn't think he would because he's a guy that loves business like this but I just thought that your old line is the one that triggered CM Punk to be very weak your thoughts on the segment that closed out raw this past Monday. 170 00:14:43,700 --> 00:15:12,700 Yeah I don't know if I hated it but everybody else did because I'm old and when some people call me on that yeah it does kind of light a fire under my eyes especially if I'm doing something that I'm keeping up with everybody else and not to mention if I'm the top guy and some it comes up and I look I'm faster you bigger than you stronger you better looking than you you're just old yeah it might fire me up so I think it's not going to be a good thing to do. 171 00:15:12,700 --> 00:15:25,700 I think it's a different insult when you're almost 50 as opposed to like when you're in your 30s like so I didn't hate it as much everybody else it I thought it was well done I thought the back and forth was really well done. 172 00:15:25,700 --> 00:15:37,700 I still I would say it's still another double to use your your metaphor but yeah I don't think it was as bad as your bios but what it does. 173 00:15:37,700 --> 00:15:42,700 It kind of puts the ball back at Roman Rangers Corps because that entire time. 174 00:15:42,700 --> 00:16:05,700 Punk's like I'm in your head I'm in your head I'm in your head but it's punk who throws the first punch which means Romans in his head so if that's the thing that kind of lights him up you know hey you know it's not far off punk is getting older and he's almost like there's time that you look at punk you're like he's the old guy who still tries to pretend like he's young. 175 00:16:05,700 --> 00:16:15,700 And it's like no I think I think he's felt that and so for that to actually be the insult that you know fires his character off you know made sense to me actually. 176 00:16:15,700 --> 00:16:34,700 Here's the layer of the reins punk feud that I found the most intriguing among in a raw it was not the end segment it was rain to arrive into the arena getting out of the car and breaking the fourth wall by looking directly in the camera and saying that all of his all of his family whether or they're like on his side or not should be offended by what CM Punk said. 177 00:16:34,700 --> 00:16:46,700 Which told me he was basically alluding to the MFT's I mean who else could he be talking about is the rock it'll be showing up anytime soon possible we saw the usos come to the fence the last week now they're kind of a little bit more aligned. 178 00:16:46,700 --> 00:16:56,700 Then we've seen pretty recently there's these rumblings of the blood line making a potential return and maybe a super blood line is going to be forming based off of CM Punk's comments. 179 00:16:56,700 --> 00:17:19,700 I feel like we could be out with that was some foreshadowing those were some seeds being planted will we see carry on on Friday Smackdown or next Monday's nights raw will be very very telling and I think if there is going to be some traction here it needs to take place either tomorrow night on Smackdown or on this Monday's edition of raw because that line was not a throw away line it was some sort of foreshadowing. 180 00:17:19,700 --> 00:17:39,700 And what I like right now with the story lines we're seeing from Randi Orn to this one even is I think that there's a possibility in like four to six weeks you and I are sitting here going man WWE really turned it around in 2026 and delivering some really nice story lines I think some serious seeds are being planted and this is one of them Dr. Trey for me. 181 00:17:39,700 --> 00:17:47,700 Did you get that same vibe based off of brains breaking the fourth wall looking directly in the camera on Monday nights raw calling out the rest of his family. 182 00:17:47,700 --> 00:18:04,700 Not to mention that but then also was it this week or the last Monday when LA night ran into the usos and you know he's talking him up and he goes hey we got a common enemy in the vision but you know there's still rolling is that hey if the bloodline gets to get you know back together that's an uh-uh. 183 00:18:04,700 --> 00:18:33,700 Like so I think they are testing the waters so to speak to see what the feedback is and like a super bloodline would be interesting and because you know Jimmy and J are still super popular and the MFTs are not but on you know this Smackdown Brad at one point so there was a top heel and now he's kind of down the card a little bit so maybe by doing a super bloodline it helps elevate everybody. 184 00:18:33,700 --> 00:19:02,700 But yeah like you still got to have somebody be the villain in this story and right now it's kind of like you're you're playing that hey both guys are trouble human beings that have faults and it's like yeah people like regular people can identify with it but still for younger fans like who do I cheer for and who's t-shirt do I buy who's poster do I buy I like like punk and I like Roman who do I go by the way I don't have you know this and you know this and you know what I'm saying. 185 00:19:02,700 --> 00:19:18,700 You know this and you being the parent of a small child Roman reigns a CM Punk or brothers in Zootopia to they gave each other a fist pump at the end of the series Z-brows yeah so I learned that as we can watch Zootopia to a Sammy Franklin. 186 00:19:18,700 --> 00:19:31,700 It is now on Disney Plus I it's in the queue it is in the queue so yeah really cool segment there and it's funny I felt like that little line to me was more intriguing than anything else I saw with reigned and punk this past Monday night on Raw. 187 00:19:31,700 --> 00:19:47,700 So there you go there's some of the official matches a lot of traction for them this past week in the world of professional wrestling some of the rumored slash what we are thinking matches I think there's something going on the women's tag team championship with these are irresistible forces 188 00:19:47,700 --> 00:19:58,700 Charlotte Flare and Alexa Bliss Bella twins maybe the Kabuki warriors and now Bailey and Larry Valkyria Bella twins appeared on Smackdown they get involved in the easier irresistible forces and Flare and Bliss match. 189 00:19:58,700 --> 00:20:10,700 The Bell is say that they are up next and they have a title shot on this week's edition of Smackdown so tomorrow night and it also feels like the Kabuki warriors and Bailey and Lyra will be involved soon based off of what we saw on Raw as well. 190 00:20:10,700 --> 00:20:18,700 It looks like the women's tag team champion of Dr. Drake could be some sort of like five team challenge which we we tend to see at WrestleMania right now. 191 00:20:18,700 --> 00:20:34,700 Well that was always the old thing which that was always Vince air was like I want to get all my guys on WrestleMania like you know like he always would find like the eight person intercontinental title match or you know we had the Andre battle royals in the in the. 192 00:20:34,700 --> 00:21:03,700 You know the was a for one year the mula battle royale then there yes or like you know we can do that because no like smoothness women's battle royale so there are ways of always adding people onto the card to get them their WrestleMania payday now the air of kind of guaranteed contracts and things like that we don't focus on it as much like it's all one big weekend but yeah I mean tag team title matches mid card title matches those a lot of them like at least one of them ends up being like a multi person tag. 193 00:21:03,700 --> 00:21:26,700 I think we're seeing that with the men's tag team tiles on Smackdown the women's tag team titles on both shows probably with the US open they'll probably a multi person match as well the intercontinental title but you a multi person match like we could have like probably one two three four five title matches be multi person slash team title matches 194 00:21:26,700 --> 00:21:47,700 or WrestleMania just to kind of pack that card out yeah it's it feels like it's becoming one of those things where we're going to get a lot of females in this match which I'm fine with because of these some of these ladies are absolute legends and and there's actually some some feud going on so something to keep an eye on now with the women's tag team championship other matches broad breaker versus 195 00:21:47,700 --> 00:22:01,700 bronze that we saw obviously we talked about Seth and his segment to open a bra this past Monday wrestle votes is reporting that quote there has been a sense of optimism that brown break could be clear to return for WrestleMania it seems like Logan Paul an 196 00:22:01,700 --> 00:22:13,100 Austin theory of a different direction for WrestleMania Dr. Tray so I think it's it's becoming more likely that this match ends up on the card I mean it's I feel like we're getting close to it what you're 197 00:22:13,100 --> 00:22:41,780 five do you think we get brought in and Seth at WrestleMania still yeah I mean I like the way of play out Monday night with open broad getting locked together Logan Paul an Austin theory probably going with ever the usos then Seth needs a dance partner unless you're going to do the mystery opponent thing again and you know it's a it's a possibility I mean and once again but then L.A. nice to also as an opponent and there's been no word that 198 00:22:41,780 --> 00:22:57,700 Johnson Reed might be back in time so it is going to be kind of like hey who who fills that dance car between now and WrestleMania so I think that's the reason why we haven't really seen any of the set stuff flush out as to like an actual 199 00:22:57,700 --> 00:23:06,860 direction because I think it's still kind of up in the air and it may adjust between even now and WrestleMania depending on if breakers back and time I do think you know 200 00:23:06,860 --> 00:23:14,340 that's what I think the Bronn breaker is one of those freak athletes that can recover from injuries far sooner than people expected I have always thought he was going to be back by 201 00:23:14,340 --> 00:23:27,980 Mania so I am leaning towards Seth and breaker but I think that's why the you know the the plans for some of the top people haven't been clearly defined because we have a couple guys up in the air based on injuries. 202 00:23:27,980 --> 00:23:45,260 AJ Lee versus Becky Lynch for the internal championship still feels like it's on the card AJ Lee defeats back Bailey excuse me on Monday's edition of raw and come another commercial break Becky Lynch attacks AJ Lee post match this seems like like one that gets you know official next week down to trade you 203 00:23:45,260 --> 00:23:46,260 Lee and Becky Lynch. 204 00:23:46,260 --> 00:23:54,420 Yeah, do you know is is going to be one of those people like if if if AJ wins Becky could never challenge for the inner kind of title ever again. 205 00:23:54,420 --> 00:23:56,900 Yeah, maybe maybe one of those the other. 206 00:23:56,900 --> 00:24:03,340 The Becky now there's a possibility because there's been talk of that Becky you know kind of wants to rack things up. 207 00:24:03,340 --> 00:24:05,580 I mean, can we get a title versus career match? 208 00:24:05,580 --> 00:24:07,220 That would be something. 209 00:24:07,220 --> 00:24:10,140 I hope that's not the case because we know how I feel about that. 210 00:24:10,140 --> 00:24:18,660 But yeah, that could be something I think they're they're going to put some kind of stipulation on it though because we already had the one on one match. 211 00:24:18,660 --> 00:24:23,820 I mean, I don't know if they would do a cage match for these two WrestleMania, but it's a possibility. 212 00:24:23,820 --> 00:24:32,220 But I just feel like they're going to throw some kind of weird stipulation on it that makes you and I either hate it or just kind of scratch your hands like that. 213 00:24:32,220 --> 00:24:33,540 It's kind of a dumb stipulation. 214 00:24:33,540 --> 00:24:36,260 Yeah, that's very well possible. 215 00:24:36,260 --> 00:24:42,220 I mean that that would not be other realm of possibility. I would love to see like an Iron Man, an Iron Woman match between these two. 216 00:24:42,220 --> 00:24:44,580 You mean Iron Woman match a WrestleMania between Vigil and AJ? 217 00:24:44,580 --> 00:24:46,740 Here you go. What they do is submission matched. 218 00:24:46,740 --> 00:24:48,740 That'd be interesting. Yeah. 219 00:24:48,740 --> 00:24:55,140 I don't think we've had a women's submission matching maybe I think Nadia and Charlotte were the last ones. 220 00:24:55,140 --> 00:24:56,340 I can remember. 221 00:24:56,340 --> 00:24:58,020 Was it really? 222 00:24:58,020 --> 00:25:02,020 Was that really bad thing they were trying to do with like riddle that was the cage? 223 00:25:02,020 --> 00:25:03,220 It was an annexated. 224 00:25:03,220 --> 00:25:06,340 It wasn't a long time. 225 00:25:06,340 --> 00:25:07,860 The line's dead. No. 226 00:25:07,860 --> 00:25:09,380 It was a pit. 227 00:25:09,380 --> 00:25:11,540 Was it a pit? 228 00:25:11,540 --> 00:25:14,260 It was either pit or a dungeon. 229 00:25:14,260 --> 00:25:18,740 Yeah, something like that. Well, I'll have to look while we're talking about this. 230 00:25:18,740 --> 00:25:22,980 Sammy's A versus Trick Williams or Al Sir Black feels like it's a possibility here. 231 00:25:22,980 --> 00:25:27,140 Sammy may have kicked off a few with Trick in a backstage segment on last week's Smackdown. 232 00:25:27,140 --> 00:25:29,860 This has been a rumored and reported match for some time, Dr. Trayon. 233 00:25:29,860 --> 00:25:33,380 It looks like we may be seeing this one coming to fruition as well. 234 00:25:33,380 --> 00:25:40,820 Yeah. As a long time fan of Sammy Zane, I don't want that match just because I feel like that's a 235 00:25:40,820 --> 00:25:45,540 match for Trick to win because they, I mean, everybody loves Trick Williams. 236 00:25:45,540 --> 00:25:49,140 I don't feel like they'd put him in a high profile match. 237 00:25:49,140 --> 00:25:53,060 It's kind of like the Austin theory, John Cena match were a few years ago, was like, 238 00:25:53,060 --> 00:25:54,500 hey, we're trying to push this kid. 239 00:25:54,500 --> 00:25:57,940 Let's get him in there with a top star so he can kind of go over. 240 00:25:59,620 --> 00:26:05,460 I just like Sammy having solid wins at WrestleMania because it's, he is one of the nicest guys 241 00:26:05,460 --> 00:26:08,420 in professional wrestling. So I always pull from it. I like Trick as well. 242 00:26:08,420 --> 00:26:12,100 So it's just an interesting dynamic. But then once again, if that's the right you go, 243 00:26:12,100 --> 00:26:16,260 what do you do with Al Sir Black? I mean, I'll let you throw him in a US title, 244 00:26:16,260 --> 00:26:19,300 open challenge type gauntlet match or something. 245 00:26:19,300 --> 00:26:22,260 Yeah, maybe Al Sir Black was the one on the phone with Rain New York and two. 246 00:26:22,260 --> 00:26:26,980 So maybe, by the way, that was Fight Pit. It was a Fight Pit match. 247 00:26:26,980 --> 00:26:30,260 That's what we're missing. That was the name, but it would call the Fight Pit. 248 00:26:30,260 --> 00:26:35,620 Fight Pit. Yeah, very, very original. Other matches that I feel like are coming to fruition here, 249 00:26:35,620 --> 00:26:38,500 the Usos versus Logan Paul and Austin theory for the World Tag Team. 250 00:26:38,500 --> 00:26:42,980 Championship, Heyman Watts, Paul and theory to go after the tag titles on this week's edition 251 00:26:42,980 --> 00:26:46,740 of Raw. That feels like the direction that will, they will be heading towards Dr. Try. 252 00:26:46,740 --> 00:26:53,460 Yeah, by the way, so do you like this version of Austin theory where he just kind of comes across as like 253 00:26:55,220 --> 00:27:01,620 not unhinged, but just unbalanced. He's so super intense now. 254 00:27:01,620 --> 00:27:06,900 Like, I kind of still like the theory that we had when he first grew the beard out. 255 00:27:06,900 --> 00:27:11,700 Like that one for a little while, that when he beat up Seth Rollins, that was kind of the edge of 256 00:27:11,700 --> 00:27:16,980 your one. I don't know if I like this one where he's just, I don't know what kind of person I 257 00:27:16,980 --> 00:27:22,180 describe as, but just super intense all the time. I don't know if I'm liking this one. 258 00:27:22,180 --> 00:27:27,860 Pushing from a guy that was like pointing at his abs and his back and his muscles like two years 259 00:27:27,860 --> 00:27:32,020 ago. Now he's just, no, I'm a bad ass now. I don't know if I like this version. 260 00:27:32,020 --> 00:27:36,420 This version is corny. I mean, quite honestly. It's like when he's like, I'm the pressure. It's like, 261 00:27:36,420 --> 00:27:41,780 oh, god, like you don't believe it. I thought the guy that was taking selfies was a lot better than 262 00:27:41,780 --> 00:27:46,740 this one, quite honestly. Yeah. Yeah, the Tyler Breeze gimmick worked better for him than the 263 00:27:48,020 --> 00:27:54,980 1980s bad movie action star. Yeah, it's not, it's not working. So it feels like Usos, 264 00:27:54,980 --> 00:27:59,620 Fury and Paul is going to be coming to our WrestleMania screens. Other matches that feel like 265 00:27:59,620 --> 00:28:03,940 they're coming to our WrestleMania screen drew McIntyre and Jacob Fattu. We had drew quitting WWE on 266 00:28:03,940 --> 00:28:10,500 SmackDown. Only for him to help trick Williams to feed Jacob Fattu on SmackDown. Drew versus Jacob 267 00:28:10,500 --> 00:28:15,220 is set for tomorrow night or when people are listening to tonight on SmackDown. 268 00:28:16,740 --> 00:28:20,500 Yeah, it's weird now that this is the second time they're doing this where this like we're 269 00:28:20,500 --> 00:28:24,260 going to have this match that's probably going to be our WrestleMania match, but we're going to do it. 270 00:28:24,260 --> 00:28:31,860 You just use mentioned Usos, Paul and Fury. It's this kind of a weird course they're taking. 271 00:28:31,860 --> 00:28:34,900 Like, hey, this is the match we're going to have a main, but we're going to have a preview match 272 00:28:34,900 --> 00:28:40,020 you know, a couple weeks ahead of time. Like it's kind of a weird thing. Like I'm good with 273 00:28:40,020 --> 00:28:46,900 McIntyre and Fattu. I wish it was they were included in the World title matchup, but it's just kind of a 274 00:28:46,900 --> 00:28:53,220 weird thing to have a match before the main. And maybe it's their way of kind of making sure that 275 00:28:53,220 --> 00:28:59,700 you know, the bugs are worked out before they have a main. To make the main. 276 00:28:59,700 --> 00:29:05,700 The match better, but I don't really remember like any but them really doing this in years past as 277 00:29:05,700 --> 00:29:13,780 well. Yeah, no, I don't remember this and I don't like when they do rumored matches on the show like 278 00:29:13,780 --> 00:29:18,420 three, four weeks out. I'm not and I always hated when they would do like WrestleMania rematches 279 00:29:18,420 --> 00:29:24,660 like the next time on Raw. Yeah, it's not good. It's not good. The rematch ones maybe kind of 280 00:29:24,660 --> 00:29:27,540 piss all over. Why don't I waste 30 minutes of my life watching this at WrestleMania if I could 281 00:29:27,540 --> 00:29:31,700 just skip to go to the bathroom, took a shower, did a little bit of work or something if the 282 00:29:31,700 --> 00:29:37,860 match would be the next night anyway. So that was a period of time where like Vince didn't care 283 00:29:37,860 --> 00:29:43,620 or something. I remember reading that. Well, like me for me, like stuff like this is just kind of like, 284 00:29:43,620 --> 00:29:52,900 well, you know, if if you're like I love the anticipation, getting to that big match, you know, 285 00:29:52,900 --> 00:29:56,820 a little bit of stuff you're seeing with punk and range. It's like, no, no, no, tease it. 286 00:29:57,460 --> 00:30:02,660 You know, let me get my appetite wet for it and then give me my main course of WrestleMania. If you're 287 00:30:02,660 --> 00:30:08,740 if you're giving me, you know, my meal early, it's not going to be as good at WrestleMania. I don't 288 00:30:08,740 --> 00:30:13,860 think I want to see these guys fight for the really for the first time at Mania on the biggest stage, 289 00:30:13,860 --> 00:30:18,580 I guess. I agree with you. Maybe we'll get one of those like what they would call like schmases or 290 00:30:18,580 --> 00:30:22,980 whatever, right? I mean, we're Bret Hart saying that in his documentary like big schmase where 291 00:30:22,980 --> 00:30:29,220 nothing happens and just basically a brawl or like somebody gets laid out pre-match, which I think 292 00:30:29,220 --> 00:30:34,580 is more likely to happen on Smackdown. So stay tuned. Drew, Fatou, Friday night's Smackdown. 293 00:30:34,580 --> 00:30:39,860 Ray Mysterio versus Gunther has been rumored here. A body slam net is reported that Gunther's 294 00:30:39,860 --> 00:30:43,860 feud with Dragon Lee was supposed to set up a program with Ray Mysterio leading to a match at 295 00:30:43,860 --> 00:30:48,900 WrestleMania with Mysterio suffering a rib injury before the Royal Rumble Gunther's WrestleMania 296 00:30:48,900 --> 00:30:54,180 direction change and it is curly unknown if he will compete in Las Vegas unless Mysterio is 297 00:30:54,180 --> 00:30:58,740 medically cleared. A lot of momentum obviously for Gunther on the last several months and it's just 298 00:30:58,740 --> 00:31:05,780 completely gone to a halt, Dr. Trey. Where Gunther is not been on RAW at all nor advancing any type of 299 00:31:05,780 --> 00:31:13,220 storyline, which is a major bummer. Ray Hurt again, which is again a major bummer. It's not looking good 300 00:31:13,220 --> 00:31:20,820 for Ray versus Gunther at WrestleMania 40 tail. Yeah, and I don't know if I read or report that 301 00:31:20,820 --> 00:31:26,820 people were questioning how serious Ray's injury would be because Ray didn't want Gunther to 302 00:31:26,820 --> 00:31:32,500 be the one to retire him. He wanted Dom to do it. So I don't know how accurate it is. But if that's 303 00:31:32,500 --> 00:31:38,420 off the card, I mean LA Knight doesn't have it. Do we get LA Knight and Gunther? I don't know what to do 304 00:31:39,620 --> 00:31:48,420 with Gunther. If you don't have anybody for him to retire at WrestleMania, you need to course 305 00:31:48,420 --> 00:31:52,900 correct and find something else. I just don't know what you do with that. Yeah, LA Knight's another one 306 00:31:52,900 --> 00:31:57,700 that's very disappointing what they're doing with both him and Gunther right now. So we'll have to 307 00:31:57,700 --> 00:32:02,820 see if this, you know, they've still got a little bit of time. I mean, what is it? Like three, four, 308 00:32:02,820 --> 00:32:08,580 five more episodes of RAW? So they've got some time here, but the clock is ticking to get onto 309 00:32:08,580 --> 00:32:13,220 that WrestleMania card. But we've also seen WWE throw up matches on the WrestleMania card with 310 00:32:13,220 --> 00:32:17,700 little to no feud and just put in and up there and wishing everybody luck. So maybe that'll be the 311 00:32:17,700 --> 00:32:24,500 case for Gunther, Ray Mysterio and or LA Knight somehow. EOS Guy versus Roquelle Rod Regas. That is 312 00:32:24,500 --> 00:32:28,500 feeling more likely after back to back weeks of interactions despite the reports of EOS versus 313 00:32:28,500 --> 00:32:32,900 Oscar WrestleMania 42. It seems like Oscar's direction is towards elements tag team titles as we 314 00:32:32,900 --> 00:32:38,340 discussed earlier. And EOS Guy versus Roquelle could be one of those singles matches that we had heard 315 00:32:38,660 --> 00:32:42,660 there's gonna be a lot more women's matches on this WrestleMania card. And I'd be down with that. 316 00:32:42,660 --> 00:32:46,980 I love both these superstars. We don't need a title involved. Give me EOS versus Roquelle at 317 00:32:46,980 --> 00:32:53,140 WrestleMania doubt to try. Yeah, because I don't know about you. I feel like we're 318 00:32:53,140 --> 00:32:59,700 kels about to break out on our own. Totally great. Be a breakout star this year. The change in 319 00:32:59,700 --> 00:33:06,100 look, the change in demeanor has really, really helped her this year. On the flip side, you have EOS 320 00:33:06,100 --> 00:33:11,380 Guy who's beloved by everybody. So, I mean, if that's the route they go, I'm fine with that. That 321 00:33:11,380 --> 00:33:17,700 would be a hell of a matchup. And I'm really expecting like big things for Roquelle in 2026, 322 00:33:17,700 --> 00:33:22,980 heading in to 2027. Another match that feels like it's coming to fruition here in Julia versus Tiffany 323 00:33:22,980 --> 00:33:28,020 Stratton versus Chelsea Green for the WWE Women's United States Championship. It's a potential few that's 324 00:33:28,020 --> 00:33:35,780 bubbling up on SmackDown right now, Dr. Dre. Yeah, it's, it's, I'm curious about how this all 325 00:33:35,780 --> 00:33:40,180 plays out because you also have the Kiana James factor in this. And Kiana had that big one over 326 00:33:40,180 --> 00:33:44,260 Charlotte. She got into the chamber and then she's kind of taking a back seat to Julia again. 327 00:33:44,260 --> 00:33:50,420 So, it's interesting to see where they go with this because like everybody in this match, I see 328 00:33:50,420 --> 00:33:58,900 could be, you know, a top, you know, women's champion contender in the next year or two. And to 329 00:33:58,900 --> 00:34:03,380 have it on this level is, is, is interesting and kind of fun. This kind of reminds me of, you know, 330 00:34:03,380 --> 00:34:08,500 back in the day when the ICT title is like preview of what the main event picture is going to be two 331 00:34:08,500 --> 00:34:13,940 years out. That's kind of how I get the feels for this one. And then finally, Dr. Dre, it's feeling 332 00:34:13,940 --> 00:34:20,340 like maybe the Miz and Kit Wilson could be taken on Jelly Roll and Danhausen as Kit Wilson is set 333 00:34:20,340 --> 00:34:26,340 to call out Jelly Roll on Friday's edition of SmackDown. This feels like that there's going to be some 334 00:34:26,340 --> 00:34:31,780 sort of Jelly Roll match on SmackDown, Dr. Dre. And I'm kind of happy that it involves Kit Wilson. 335 00:34:31,780 --> 00:34:36,660 Oh, yeah. And you got to have the Miz and there because the Miz is the best kind of quarterback for 336 00:34:36,660 --> 00:34:40,900 celebrities when it comes to stuff like this. It was the Logan Paul stuff like he's done this before. 337 00:34:40,900 --> 00:34:50,260 I just never, you know, Danhausen and Jelly Roll teaming up was not, I don't know people say 338 00:34:50,260 --> 00:34:56,180 the bingo card. That was not in my encyclopedia. Like there was no idea this was going to, like that 339 00:34:56,180 --> 00:35:04,020 made. This may be the oddest pairing of two people you could possibly do, especially if it ends up 340 00:35:04,020 --> 00:35:11,460 being Danhausen's first match in WWE is teaming with Jelly Roll to take on Kit Wilson and the Miz. 341 00:35:11,460 --> 00:35:19,380 Like it's like the biggest hodgepodge not to mention Miz was holding Kit Wilson for Jelly Roll a 342 00:35:19,380 --> 00:35:27,060 punch and now Miz and Kit Wilson are teaming up. I'm still honestly Jeff. I'm still waiting for Danhausen 343 00:35:27,060 --> 00:35:31,860 and our truth to have their first backstage interaction though. That's all my WrestleMania. We 344 00:35:31,860 --> 00:35:36,900 got to have that at some point as well. I got to say Danhausen's been doing a great job since the 345 00:35:36,900 --> 00:35:40,180 elimination chamber debacle, which I don't think it was too much of a debacle. I just think those 346 00:35:40,180 --> 00:35:45,380 fans are being bent and just jackass is quite honestly. Danhausen has been very entertaining. 347 00:35:46,020 --> 00:35:51,780 I think it was just, I guess I thought the biggest issue with it was the trip to the ring. 348 00:35:51,780 --> 00:35:56,820 Like that was such a long walk in the music played for so long and the crowds like see it. 349 00:35:56,820 --> 00:36:01,780 Like you can just feel like the crowd was just not into it but because a lot of people did have no 350 00:36:01,780 --> 00:36:09,060 idea who Danhausen even was. But these short little segments and these short little quips in 351 00:36:09,060 --> 00:36:15,700 burps and so that's perfectly tailored for him. And I think he's been doing really really 352 00:36:15,700 --> 00:36:19,780 well. Even the little commercial clips when he's like shooting t-shirts into the crowd with the 353 00:36:19,780 --> 00:36:27,300 Canonhausen is pretty cool little fun stuff as well. So there is our WrestleMania 42 roundup 354 00:36:27,300 --> 00:36:32,340 a month from today. It will be night two of WrestleMania on April the 19th. So we are very, 355 00:36:32,340 --> 00:36:38,660 very, very, very close. Speaking of being close to you've got WrestleMania 43 next year, 356 00:36:38,660 --> 00:36:44,740 Dr. Trey. It'll be in Saudi Arabia. There is a WWE show that is coming up in July for 357 00:36:44,740 --> 00:36:53,540 night of champions and due to the tensions/war in the Middle East. Brian Alvarez recently reported 358 00:36:53,540 --> 00:36:58,020 that had been discussions about the two WWE shows in Saudi Arabia this year as well as next year's 359 00:36:58,020 --> 00:37:03,540 WrestleMania 43. I made the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. It is emphasized that although 360 00:37:03,540 --> 00:37:10,500 there have been discussion, no decisions been made yet. So some interesting twists right now. 361 00:37:10,500 --> 00:37:17,060 And some more layered context to this is WrestleVotes reported late today that WWE night of champions 362 00:37:17,060 --> 00:37:21,780 PLD has been slated to take place in Saudi Arabia. But it's been learned from sources in Stanford 363 00:37:21,780 --> 00:37:27,700 that is now quote doubtful at best end quote due to the ongoing conflicts across the region. 364 00:37:27,700 --> 00:37:32,340 Dr. Trey. I feel like we've been down this road before with the shows in Saudi Arabia. But this 365 00:37:32,340 --> 00:37:38,500 is definitely amplified a lot more with what's going on in Iran right now. Very rarely we talk about 366 00:37:38,500 --> 00:37:43,380 world issues on this podcast but this is affecting professional wrestling. Does it look like night of 367 00:37:43,380 --> 00:37:49,620 champions is happening and WrestleMania 43 could be in danger? Your thoughts on some world news 368 00:37:49,620 --> 00:37:56,500 bleeding into our wrestling world that we love. You mean the royal family of Saudi Arabia didn't 369 00:37:56,500 --> 00:38:01,220 ask Triple H if they could book the Irish sheet to make everything smooth and happy? I'm shocked. 370 00:38:01,220 --> 00:38:04,740 I mean they asked for Yoko Zun. I mean that you would think they would at least ask for the Irish 371 00:38:04,740 --> 00:38:09,380 sheet to make an appearance to let Iran know hey don't bomb us we have the Irish sheet here but they 372 00:38:09,380 --> 00:38:14,980 know they can't do that so you caught me on a drink in a water by the way. I was I'm like Jeff 373 00:38:14,980 --> 00:38:20,020 this is this is radio gold here and you're no selling it for me come on. No I was I was drinking water 374 00:38:20,020 --> 00:38:24,660 folks completely pulling back the current here. You need I think they at least get a spit tank at least 375 00:38:24,660 --> 00:38:28,500 or something. I could have done that but it would be all over my computer string and you know how 376 00:38:28,500 --> 00:38:38,980 Apple is so that's true. No it's frustrating anytime world real world stuff crosses over to professional 377 00:38:38,980 --> 00:38:43,700 wrestling because that's why we're into professional wrestling because it takes us away from the real world. 378 00:38:43,700 --> 00:38:50,820 It sucks but on the flip side that means whenever night of champions occurs if it's not inside 379 00:38:50,820 --> 00:38:55,460 of Arabia I don't have to get up at the ass crack of dawn to watch it. I can actually sleep in a 380 00:38:55,460 --> 00:39:01,940 little bit and catch it as normal time. I'm still dreading WrestleMania kicking off at like 11 a.m. 381 00:39:01,940 --> 00:39:09,780 Just I'm sorry in my head for next year. Then well if it's anything like the rumble I think it's 382 00:39:09,780 --> 00:39:15,300 already here on the east coast one p.m. So yeah for you would be what noon time noon yeah like I'm 383 00:39:15,300 --> 00:39:23,860 not I was I didn't hate it I gotta be honest. I'd rather have my day right take it up in my night. 384 00:39:23,860 --> 00:39:31,700 Yeah but that's two days of like getting tired of now I'm sure like I guess granted like after 385 00:39:31,700 --> 00:39:35,540 WrestleMania I can make it up to we can make it up to our wives and take them out to dinner. 386 00:39:35,540 --> 00:39:42,420 We just spent four hours in front of the TV on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of spring 387 00:39:42,420 --> 00:39:48,820 watching a wrestling show. Baby I'll take you to dinner and you know bed bath beyond or something 388 00:39:48,820 --> 00:39:54,500 to make up for it it gives husbands a chance to kind of smooth things over the same night but 389 00:39:54,500 --> 00:40:00,180 yeah like just in the middle of the day I mean I got you know we have kids and we have lives and 390 00:40:00,180 --> 00:40:04,820 there's you know there's stuff to do around the house and now we have to stop into what not that I'm 391 00:40:04,820 --> 00:40:10,900 complaining it's just it's so outside of the norm that you know it kind of throws off like it's one 392 00:40:10,900 --> 00:40:16,580 thing it was winter time and I can't go outside and do anything anyway that's fine but like in the 393 00:40:16,580 --> 00:40:23,540 middle of spring like today it was 81 and sunny like if I was sitting inside watching watching WrestleMania 394 00:40:23,540 --> 00:40:28,820 you know watching a wrestling pay-per-view and not being outside and doing something productive I 395 00:40:28,820 --> 00:40:33,140 would probably kick myself later on. Well that's the big joke over the last several years I mean I 396 00:40:33,140 --> 00:40:39,300 remember the last couple years when Stan deliver was on like 11 a.m. East it would be like what was 397 00:40:39,300 --> 00:40:44,340 it smack down on Friday then the Hall of Fame which ended like really late like 1 a.m. 2 a.m. 398 00:40:44,340 --> 00:40:51,460 on the East Coast then I would get up for an 11 a.m. 12 a.m. 12 p.m. noon time show for Stan deliver 399 00:40:51,460 --> 00:40:56,420 and then that would end around like 2.33 o'clock and then you had just a couple hours before 400 00:40:56,420 --> 00:41:01,220 WrestleMania pre-show started because I would try to watch the pre-show and then that was Saturday 401 00:41:01,220 --> 00:41:05,700 and then Sunday felt like a whole new day like I could do things in the morning in the afternoon 402 00:41:05,700 --> 00:41:10,420 and then WrestleMania at night. I always tell the story from WrestleMania 35 I'm 403 00:41:10,420 --> 00:41:16,580 a rescidding on my couch at like 4.30 4.45 for the show to begin at 5 because they were doing matches 404 00:41:16,580 --> 00:41:25,060 on the USA network remember like FTR Hawkinson Rider battling it out and not being done until like 12.15 405 00:41:25,060 --> 00:41:31,060 a.m. on the next day. Well even that was what started the two-night WrestleMania so WrestleMania is a 406 00:41:31,060 --> 00:41:35,380 grind I'm fine with what they're doing this year with no Stan deliver certainly just doing the 407 00:41:35,380 --> 00:41:40,260 shows at night the Saudi Arabia thing we'll have to see what they end up doing the times because 408 00:41:40,260 --> 00:41:44,260 a huge point huge stick of point was coming out of the rumble was that the crowd wasn't good which 409 00:41:44,260 --> 00:41:51,060 was not the case at all for a lot of the Saudi Arabia shows recently however this show I guess 410 00:41:51,060 --> 00:41:55,620 reportedly ended it like 2 a.m. in Saudi Arabia so they could be on at a reasonable time in the East 411 00:41:55,620 --> 00:42:02,020 coast and people didn't give a shit and they were tired and that showed on the television that was 412 00:42:02,020 --> 00:42:06,900 not a good crowd reaction rumble which now has people talking about WrestleMania crowd reactions 413 00:42:06,900 --> 00:42:11,940 I think more importantly like WrestleMania in general they've got plenty of time before they have to 414 00:42:11,940 --> 00:42:19,140 pull the plug here theoretically but what see where things go I mean if it's summertime and this is 415 00:42:19,140 --> 00:42:24,820 still going on are they got to do show in Saudi Arabia probably not because then they are got a scramble 416 00:42:24,820 --> 00:42:28,660 for backup plan and then what do they do they crawl back to the superdoma New Orleans and say hey we're 417 00:42:28,660 --> 00:42:34,660 sorry about that we're coming back to you guys um yeah that was original yep that was supposed to be 418 00:42:34,660 --> 00:42:41,940 the original place for WrestleMania 43 was New Orleans as the rock announced so very interesting stuff 419 00:42:41,940 --> 00:42:48,340 as world issues make their way into our wrestling problems that we have right now this being what's 420 00:42:48,340 --> 00:42:54,020 the status of WrestleMania 43 and night of champions PLE probably not happening at least in Saudi Arabia 421 00:42:54,020 --> 00:43:00,180 this July going back to this year's WrestleMania card I brought it up on last week's show.trace 422 00:43:00,180 --> 00:43:05,060 we would talk about it this week so here we are WWE on the men's side they are going with CM Punk 423 00:43:05,060 --> 00:43:10,740 Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes to carry WrestleMania 42 from the men is this the right or 424 00:43:10,740 --> 00:43:18,260 wrong loop because here we are in 2006 Reigns Orton punk at least three of them 14 15 years ago 425 00:43:18,260 --> 00:43:24,820 were top stars in the business 2012 13 14 Cody Rhodes was was up and coming but I don't think we 426 00:43:24,820 --> 00:43:29,940 ever thought we'd see him in this echelon of of these names and here they are in 2026 and they are 427 00:43:29,940 --> 00:43:36,340 carrying the banner of professional wrestling in the WWE WrestleMania 42 yet again are you fine with 428 00:43:36,340 --> 00:43:41,300 this move is this the right move or would you like to see a change at the top of Mount Rushmore when 429 00:43:41,300 --> 00:43:50,020 it comes to men's side to carry WrestleMania 42 I think on one side I'm like if his punk and Reigns 430 00:43:50,020 --> 00:43:54,660 on that side I'm okay I think you know early this year we thought we talked about like you know 431 00:43:54,660 --> 00:44:00,020 Braun Breaker really took off you could put him in that spot I think next year's more likely for 432 00:44:00,020 --> 00:44:05,940 Braun Breaker in that spot on the Smackdown side like that's why I was clamoring for you know 433 00:44:05,940 --> 00:44:11,700 getting Jacob Fattu into the mix and even if you make it a multi person match like getting him 434 00:44:11,700 --> 00:44:21,220 that exposure and getting him exposed to a you know a huge event audience of just casual fans 435 00:44:21,220 --> 00:44:28,660 also maybe making those of those casual fans Jacob Fattu fan would be pretty awesome so I guess with 436 00:44:28,660 --> 00:44:34,180 punk and Reigns I'm okay with it because also that's also a match we have really not seen in 437 00:44:34,180 --> 00:44:42,980 what 15 years those guys go at it so I guess one on one I'm okay with it Cody and Orden on paper 438 00:44:42,980 --> 00:44:47,540 I would have been fine with almost any of the time of the year just with all the build that we had 439 00:44:47,540 --> 00:44:52,740 for the Jacob Fattu Drew McIntyre Cody stuff to then pivot to Cody and Randy this kind of late the 440 00:44:52,740 --> 00:45:00,500 game like I guess I'm I like it but I would rather have Jacob Fattu in that spot. It's funny and what 441 00:45:00,500 --> 00:45:04,420 you pointed out there where you mentioned like Braun Breaker because I'm in the same boat as you I 442 00:45:04,420 --> 00:45:09,780 would not surprise me that a WrestleMania 43 you got Braun Breaker Oba Femi Jacob Fattu at the top 443 00:45:09,780 --> 00:45:15,700 for the men's side and LA night like guys it can be completely swapped from what we're seeing this 444 00:45:15,700 --> 00:45:22,180 year and you know it doesn't feel like in years past where we'll always be like Triple H at the top 445 00:45:22,180 --> 00:45:29,060 performing where it just felt like the same guys all the time or even Cena even though these are 446 00:45:29,060 --> 00:45:36,740 guys that have been household names and professional wrestling for 15 20 25 years it feels fresh 447 00:45:36,740 --> 00:45:41,780 and new to me it's Orden in Rhodes like we've never seen an Orden Rhodes feud with Cody at this 448 00:45:41,780 --> 00:45:47,940 character we've never really seen a punk reigns feud so it's fresh and these guys are fresh and 449 00:45:47,940 --> 00:45:53,540 these guys are performing and they're entertaining and it's fun so it doesn't feel like the wrong move 450 00:45:53,540 --> 00:45:58,020 to me it feels like the right move it feels like actually for this WrestleMania this makes the most 451 00:45:58,020 --> 00:46:02,980 sense to me and they're bringing it and and there were some some holes with what was going on 452 00:46:02,980 --> 00:46:08,500 especially with injuries on the men's side I think the women are are are set they're solid that's 453 00:46:08,500 --> 00:46:12,660 why they're going to be getting some matches that probably don't have titles involved which is pretty 454 00:46:12,660 --> 00:46:18,740 cool because they've been just doing a bang up job compared to the men in WWE right now but when 455 00:46:18,740 --> 00:46:23,540 you look at the men's side of who could be carrying the top matches I think these four guys are the 456 00:46:23,540 --> 00:46:28,820 right choices let's see we're at in the next year with Oba Braun LA night Jacob Fatouk as those four 457 00:46:28,820 --> 00:46:35,940 guys could be literally carrying it with championship matches moving forward so I don't know things 458 00:46:35,940 --> 00:46:41,620 have changed from me here in the last week Dr. Trey while WWE is definitely stagnant I think I could 459 00:46:41,620 --> 00:46:46,580 see things down the road run like this could be exciting if this is executed correctly we could be 460 00:46:46,580 --> 00:46:51,540 watching some really cool things so I'm fine with the four household names carrying WrestleMania this 461 00:46:51,540 --> 00:46:59,540 year yeah and I think Parv is also like you know Oba getting called up a little late the injury to 462 00:46:59,540 --> 00:47:05,540 Braun break or the injury to Braun's in the read I think that kind of through plans off I mean we could 463 00:47:05,540 --> 00:47:11,940 have seen a couple of those guys in bigger spots I mean you got Oba Femi and Brock Les that's a big 464 00:47:11,940 --> 00:47:18,420 spot for Oba Femi you do Jacob Fatouk and Drew McIntyre that's still a big spot for Jacob Fatouk 465 00:47:18,420 --> 00:47:24,740 would would I have liked to see that be like hey let's do Cody Randy Drew and Jacob for the main event 466 00:47:24,740 --> 00:47:29,060 and then coming out of it Randy turns heel and we get Cody and Randy for a little while afterwards 467 00:47:29,620 --> 00:47:35,220 yeah like I've been that would have been fine with me too you know and if Braun breakers on this 468 00:47:35,220 --> 00:47:40,580 show he's get Seth Rawls these are all big spots for these young guys and that's what I'm saying this 469 00:47:40,580 --> 00:47:46,100 is like one of those like transitional years where you feel like not that the old guard is stepping 470 00:47:46,100 --> 00:47:50,820 aside but they could really help elevate the younger talent and then all of a sudden now you got 471 00:47:50,820 --> 00:47:57,540 one two three you got like eight nine ten twelve guys who could headline a WrestleMania at any given 472 00:47:57,540 --> 00:48:02,900 time or the next couple years that's not a bad problem for WWE to have you but think about what 473 00:48:02,900 --> 00:48:09,700 you just pointed out there as well right you mentioned Oba and Brock Jacob and Drew and you've got 474 00:48:09,700 --> 00:48:13,780 Braun and Seth like those are three guys that were air marking they could have a big match a year 475 00:48:13,780 --> 00:48:19,940 from now and those guys are with main event players in their matches and if they win those matches 476 00:48:19,940 --> 00:48:25,780 that carries them on for the next year so um don't we can we turn out some new stars so you know 477 00:48:25,780 --> 00:48:31,220 Cody has been saying that this could be a sneaky WrestleMania and I always tend to think obviously 478 00:48:31,220 --> 00:48:37,220 he knows something we don't know and he's hyping that up for a good reason and it's you can kind of 479 00:48:37,220 --> 00:48:43,620 see for lack of better terms the vision right now of where WrestleMania 42 is and how it could be 480 00:48:43,620 --> 00:48:48,660 that turning of the page moment potentially or at least a table setter for turning the page moment 481 00:48:48,660 --> 00:48:54,580 a year from now whether it be in Saudi Arabia New Orleans or somewhere else for WWE so with WWE 482 00:48:54,580 --> 00:49:03,140 riding those four guys right now it makes sense and it's good business I'm not bored by it's it's 483 00:49:03,140 --> 00:49:08,340 good storylines it's fresh matchups and I'm here for it so I think it's the right move feel free to 484 00:49:08,340 --> 00:49:15,940 chime in with your thoughts over at patreon.com/srtupodcast with that being said let's recap AW 485 00:49:15,940 --> 00:49:22,180 revolution from this past Sunday from the crypto.com arena in Los Angeles California in zero hour you 486 00:49:22,180 --> 00:49:27,220 had boom and doom Dr. Trace for every tag team to feed the infantry of course because they've 487 00:49:27,220 --> 00:49:32,340 been battling it out in AW television last several weeks. Willow Knight yelled a feed to colossal 488 00:49:32,340 --> 00:49:38,340 arena across to retain the AW TV as championship Jack Perry won the 20 man black Jack battle royal for 489 00:49:38,340 --> 00:49:44,020 the AW national championship any thoughts on the zero hour matches and result Dr. Tray. 490 00:49:44,020 --> 00:49:52,100 The risk got face palm by Shane Taylor like that little little chubby kid so I'm good with that 491 00:49:52,100 --> 00:50:01,860 that was fun I really hate I mean I get it they're popular on the internets but the infantry's a 492 00:50:01,860 --> 00:50:10,100 damn good tag team and just don't get enough credit for it so that kind of stuck for them I I didn't 493 00:50:10,100 --> 00:50:15,860 like the willow match at first but then it led into you know the results for a match later on 494 00:50:15,860 --> 00:50:24,020 and I like that part and then the national title getting lost in a 20 man battle royal thing though 495 00:50:24,020 --> 00:50:29,860 I even though ricochet was you know the final two I just really hate when title changes occur 496 00:50:29,860 --> 00:50:34,900 in battle royals and it doesn't involve Ric Flair like hiding under the ring. Yeah I'm not a fan 497 00:50:34,900 --> 00:50:40,980 in the national title quite honestly either. I was under the name. Did you ever feel like they just 498 00:50:40,980 --> 00:50:44,820 made that belt to give ricochet a single title so people shut the hell up about ricochet not 499 00:50:44,820 --> 00:50:50,100 when the single title in AW title was supposed to be like defended on Indy scenes and I think there's 500 00:50:50,100 --> 00:50:55,220 been more AW world title matches on independent shows than there has been national matches that was 501 00:50:55,220 --> 00:50:59,220 something with the international champion was supposed to be defended overseas and barely ever did 502 00:50:59,220 --> 00:51:09,220 that it's they need to chill out on these titles honestly. So anyway I guess should we bring this 503 00:51:09,220 --> 00:51:15,700 up the ricochet comments about him wishing a fan fan who had MS tweeted at him and said I'm glad 504 00:51:15,700 --> 00:51:21,300 you have MS he later apologized to it there's some reports out there that he could be in hot water 505 00:51:21,300 --> 00:51:28,100 water with the AW it could actually potentially be fired from this. I know you want to play 506 00:51:28,100 --> 00:51:33,220 heal but sometimes like don't cross the line like that's someone legitimately dealing with MS like 507 00:51:33,220 --> 00:51:39,060 what are we doing? I don't I don't understand AW because you know they they had to cancel 508 00:51:39,060 --> 00:51:43,860 Tramagell's contract because of stuff he said I know what you're going to get to here go for it 509 00:51:43,860 --> 00:51:50,340 I mean but yet you know you get this you you MJF can say whatever he wants to but then ricochet says 510 00:51:50,340 --> 00:51:54,420 something and people get a herb but then you bring in Ronda Rousey you that's it yeah playing sand 511 00:51:54,420 --> 00:51:59,940 you hook was a was a red a false flag operation and it took her 10 plus years to apologize for it 512 00:52:00,820 --> 00:52:05,140 yeah but not to mention like and then look at look at what they're talking like there could be a case if 513 00:52:05,140 --> 00:52:10,180 you go back to um oh what was that woman's name that was the woman who's married to center 514 00:52:10,180 --> 00:52:17,060 Alexander that was an AW. Oh uh big swole big swole you go back to big swoles comments about Tony 515 00:52:17,060 --> 00:52:21,860 Conn at times and you're looking at going okay so we got Tramagell and ricochet they're in trouble 516 00:52:21,860 --> 00:52:26,500 for what they said but Ronda isn't in trouble for what she said you're giving her more money 517 00:52:27,140 --> 00:52:33,860 MJF can be an asshole all the time you don't reprimand him well two people look like and the other two 518 00:52:33,860 --> 00:52:38,020 people look alike and the two people on the Tramagell ricochet start of the ones who were in trouble 519 00:52:38,020 --> 00:52:44,500 so from the way they handle Tramagell and then the briskos before Jay passed away sadly like just 520 00:52:44,500 --> 00:52:50,260 it doesn't make it doesn't make sense where it it feels like double standards double standards like 521 00:52:50,260 --> 00:52:54,260 if you can make us money we'll figure out a way to make it okay but if you're not drawn it's a lot of 522 00:52:54,260 --> 00:52:58,660 money we're dying with you it's not worth the headache because how they kind of look at it. We'll 523 00:52:58,660 --> 00:53:03,300 get to the result here but I mean there's a major story with Tony Storm that came out recently um 524 00:53:03,300 --> 00:53:07,780 that can overshadow this I mean the Ronda Rousey stuff I mean I was in favor of her joining 525 00:53:07,780 --> 00:53:11,780 don't do we when she debuted and thought it was a big deal I know you were not a huge fan of a 526 00:53:11,780 --> 00:53:17,140 doctorate because you didn't watch a lot of MMA I gotta be honest with you in 2026 I don't want to 527 00:53:17,140 --> 00:53:23,060 see Ronda Rousey in a wrestling ring like I could care less and it's the stuff that you said. I would 528 00:53:23,060 --> 00:53:28,900 rather see Gina Carano honestly because I know this is all hype for the Carano Rousey like 529 00:53:28,900 --> 00:53:36,900 on Netflix by the way on Netflix yeah so not an HBO Max yeah but like or Paramount because Paramount 530 00:53:36,900 --> 00:53:44,180 and HBO Max are emerging um but yeah like I don't I don't get the logic like I'm not a Rousey 531 00:53:44,180 --> 00:53:48,740 think as Rousey does not give a shit about wrestling. This is Rousey shoving an WWE's ass let's just 532 00:53:48,740 --> 00:53:54,900 be honest. Yeah that's all it is it's just her trying to get back at them and I'm like it makes no sense 533 00:53:54,900 --> 00:54:01,220 because you're gonna end up promoting a Rousey fight on Netflix which will get more viewers and 534 00:54:01,220 --> 00:54:08,820 subscribers to Netflix which pays WWE. But get back at WWE for what like they put her in spots that 535 00:54:08,820 --> 00:54:15,140 she did not deserve she never really improved in the wrestling ring her character was extremely 536 00:54:15,140 --> 00:54:20,100 flat on the microphone. I wouldn't say it was not a success because she helped get the women to 537 00:54:20,100 --> 00:54:24,740 the main event of WrestleMania in Wrestling 35 however I don't think it lived up to the potential 538 00:54:24,740 --> 00:54:32,020 at least I had as someone who watched her as a mainstream major star athlete that was transcending 539 00:54:32,020 --> 00:54:38,660 MMA for females and was a household name it did not correlate well in professional wrestling and 540 00:54:38,660 --> 00:54:43,620 in 2026 the shines completely off the luster is completely off I think most wrestling fans are 541 00:54:43,620 --> 00:54:48,260 turned off by her and it's not like in a heel kind of way like oh I don't want her back she's gonna 542 00:54:48,260 --> 00:54:54,340 be a great heel though I think it's a legit like just stay away because her shit talking WWE to 543 00:54:54,340 --> 00:54:59,220 sell her books like that was just a way to get people to buy the book and she could shit talk them 544 00:54:59,220 --> 00:55:05,060 all they want but they made her look as best as she could and it just didn't work out I don't care 545 00:55:05,060 --> 00:55:11,940 about this f you to WWE either from Rhonda or AEW or both like to me just keep her off television she's 546 00:55:11,940 --> 00:55:19,460 not entertaining she is the worst may I'll say she's the word I don't say mainstream you are MMA fighter 547 00:55:19,460 --> 00:55:27,780 but she is the absolute worst at least mid card level MMA fighter to make the transition to pro wrestling 548 00:55:27,780 --> 00:55:35,620 as far as in ring acumen like Riddles better like he made the transition Shamrock held dance severance 549 00:55:35,620 --> 00:55:40,260 of better damn wrestlers like there's so many people that made the transition she could never for 550 00:55:40,260 --> 00:55:45,380 somebody who has a martial arts background and then a background she could never get the footwork 551 00:55:45,380 --> 00:55:54,980 and timing down and it just it I can't think of one actual good Rhonda rousey match no no it's 552 00:55:54,980 --> 00:56:00,420 hard to find and what about the promos I mean they were brutal they got it I will say her promo 553 00:56:00,420 --> 00:56:06,660 has got a little better right wish he was wrapping up which he was a heel like yeah because that was 554 00:56:06,660 --> 00:56:12,100 always the problem with ronda was they booked yours a baby face and nobody wants to like ronda rousey 555 00:56:12,100 --> 00:56:18,020 in the ring like you want to like her as a back then people liked her I have to admit back then 556 00:56:18,020 --> 00:56:22,580 people I mean she got an amazing reaction to the royal rumbling when she debuted yeah but it was 557 00:56:22,580 --> 00:56:29,540 it was within six months the bloom was off the rose yeah because she was not a performing well 558 00:56:29,540 --> 00:56:34,580 yeah and she just always had that cocky arrogance about her that she was better than 559 00:56:35,300 --> 00:56:39,860 the wrestlers and it's like no no no you kind of got to if you're going to be a baby face you got to play 560 00:56:39,860 --> 00:56:44,260 humble a little bit or you got to be the rock like there's no real middle ground you either got to be 561 00:56:44,260 --> 00:56:49,540 super entertaining or at least be like look I'm coming in here I'm a bus my ass I'm make the best 562 00:56:49,540 --> 00:56:54,660 impression I can I just hope the fans have my back that type of you have to almost have that humility to 563 00:56:54,660 --> 00:57:02,420 it she never had that and she is not charismatic at all no very boring very plan yeah anyway we'll say 564 00:57:02,420 --> 00:57:08,820 that for ronda rousey guys episode one dot train i podcast dot patreon dot com slash srt podcast 565 00:57:08,820 --> 00:57:14,340 other matches here ftr to feed the young bucks to retain the a w roll tag team chia bjb kajanko 566 00:57:14,340 --> 00:57:21,220 came out and now they'll be vying for the tag team titles at dynasty coming up in april and we saw 567 00:57:21,220 --> 00:57:25,140 that there's some sort of lingering feud between these three teams it feels like something major will 568 00:57:25,140 --> 00:57:29,940 be happening at double or nothing in new york city in may time was totally stormed feed him rena 569 00:57:29,940 --> 00:57:34,980 shaffir they ran an angle where to me was injured on dynamite didn't feel like it was anything major 570 00:57:34,980 --> 00:57:39,300 but now the reports are out there that to me will be out of action for quote a long time due to 571 00:57:39,300 --> 00:57:44,660 an injury or injuries which is extremely upsetting the time with stony storm is going to be off 572 00:57:44,660 --> 00:57:49,940 television john moxley defeated kato skate to cash gets retain the a w continental champ chip will 573 00:57:49,940 --> 00:57:55,060 osprey return post match he wrestled on dynamite didn't look like he must beat in a great match with 574 00:57:55,060 --> 00:58:01,380 bleak christian very happy that will osprey's back divine dominion mega bane colossal lena cross 575 00:58:01,380 --> 00:58:06,180 defeated the baves of wrath harley camera and will onight gale to win the a w roll tag team championship 576 00:58:06,180 --> 00:58:10,820 i'll take a pause there dr. tre anything you want to talk about with those a w matches and the 577 00:58:10,820 --> 00:58:19,060 aftermath you give me ftr i guess i can call them cnc instead of e in cnc and the young bucks 578 00:58:19,060 --> 00:58:25,700 a double or nothing that may be the ultimate wrestling dream match for a tag team i got i don't 579 00:58:25,700 --> 00:58:33,060 know like we had the hardies edging christian and dodele's but for overall production and prominence 580 00:58:33,060 --> 00:58:38,580 in tag team wrestling i don't know if you could put three teams better together than those three teams 581 00:58:38,580 --> 00:58:43,700 i mean i'm really excited sir and i'm also excited to see edging christian rcdk or caging cope 582 00:58:44,180 --> 00:58:51,540 to together in van koever coming up a dinosaur i'm excited about that one uh the divine what would 583 00:58:51,540 --> 00:58:57,860 you call them the divine what the divine dominion divine dominion is that a w's answer to like the 584 00:58:57,860 --> 00:59:02,740 brothers and the structures is too big badass women's a tag team and no way is going to be able to touch 585 00:59:02,740 --> 00:59:09,700 them for a while i guess uh to and then here's the thing about the run to thing we were it was looking 586 00:59:09,700 --> 00:59:13,540 like you might get ronda and tooni and now with this injury that kind of blows up their plans so 587 00:59:13,540 --> 00:59:18,820 then what do you do with do you do ronda rousey and mercenaries mone at some point i don't know how you 588 00:59:18,820 --> 00:59:25,460 get back what what what's the payoff for ronda making his appearance now there was no yeah there's 589 00:59:25,460 --> 00:59:31,860 nobody on dynamite right because i think the injury blew up the angle so i don't think they knew 590 00:59:31,860 --> 00:59:37,780 what they'll do so they're like because there's nobody you can put her with that fans would feel 591 00:59:37,780 --> 00:59:44,820 like her is on her level other than mercenaries mone yeah yeah i like that would be your dream match right 592 00:59:44,820 --> 00:59:51,700 yeah and but mercenaries hasn't been on tv in a while uh and she was a heel and people want to 593 00:59:51,700 --> 00:59:56,980 boo ronda so you got to make mercenaries a baby face when she comes back to make that match happen 594 00:59:56,980 --> 01:00:00,900 so it is going to be interesting to see what the payoff of this ronda thing is with the toni injury 595 01:00:01,780 --> 01:00:08,100 yeah it it'll yeah i felt felt like to me like toni versus uh ronda was happening and doubled or nothing 596 01:00:08,100 --> 01:00:12,580 but who knows now so there you go and then the second off of the card here he had swerve 597 01:00:12,580 --> 01:00:17,300 strickland defeat brody king uh he is the new number one contender for the eight of a world championship 598 01:00:17,300 --> 01:00:23,860 we'd be taking on um Kenny omega on dynamite this Wednesday Kenny will be putting up his EVP status 599 01:00:23,860 --> 01:00:28,260 shortly putting up his number one contendership i love the line that swerve strickland and no idea he 600 01:00:28,260 --> 01:00:33,540 was the number one contender uh that was funny uh tecla defeated chris statlander two to once 601 01:00:33,540 --> 01:00:38,580 retain a w women's world championship in the two out of three falls match mystico and jets beat 602 01:00:38,580 --> 01:00:43,140 defeated the dawn cows family okaada fletcher and davis to win the a w world trios championship that 603 01:00:43,140 --> 01:00:49,140 was a shock on trite alito defeated bandito darby on orange casting rodrick strong defeated the dogs 604 01:00:49,140 --> 01:00:54,580 david finley gabe kib and clark conners and mjf defeated hangman anapage to retain a w world 605 01:00:54,580 --> 01:01:00,260 championship in a texas deathmatch and hangman anapage can never challenge for the eight of a world 606 01:01:00,260 --> 01:01:05,780 championship again and reportedly he'll be away from w a w television for some time now uh dr 607 01:01:05,780 --> 01:01:10,500 schreya thoughts here on the rest of the eight of a revolution card and aftermath that may have been 608 01:01:10,500 --> 01:01:14,820 one of the most brutal texas deathmatches i've ever seen that was up there it was it was pretty it 609 01:01:14,820 --> 01:01:19,940 was pretty damn violent and you gotta give credit for both those guys to just go let's just go balls 610 01:01:19,940 --> 01:01:25,380 out and just did i did i like thoroughly enjoy it now it was it might have been a little too violent 611 01:01:25,380 --> 01:01:31,460 for my liking but it was it's still for those die hard blood and guts fans that that was a damn good 612 01:01:31,460 --> 01:01:36,260 match uh swarov and brody was a damn good match too and and even though brody lost it still made 613 01:01:36,260 --> 01:01:42,420 him look like you know upper upper main event guy uh and then you were actually right like the 614 01:01:42,420 --> 01:01:46,260 fact of swarov didn't know because they didn't say they didn't really tell anybody he was gonna be 615 01:01:46,260 --> 01:01:50,340 the number one contender after that match um but it's gonna be interesting to see what happens with 616 01:01:50,340 --> 01:01:57,140 this because as much as we all love swarov he is a heel now and mjf is a heel and does that mean that 617 01:01:57,140 --> 01:02:02,740 we're gonna get some kind of angle where can he becomes the number one contender to get to mjf um 618 01:02:02,740 --> 01:02:10,340 mystico and jessby beating okada fletcher and davis is so underrated in the sense of 619 01:02:10,340 --> 01:02:15,620 you just had three really really young guys beat two of your top guys in this trio's match and 620 01:02:15,620 --> 01:02:21,380 even though uh mark day was involved in he's not on the level the perception level of okada and 621 01:02:21,380 --> 01:02:26,340 fletcher like it's still big in their thing and and why didn't they just go with calling them mystic 622 01:02:26,340 --> 01:02:33,140 speed but that sounds cool yeah i know it was that was a shock to see that result so uh mystico and 623 01:02:33,140 --> 01:02:38,820 jetsbyter newtrius champions uh a w is in a very healthy spot right now like every top star nearly 624 01:02:38,820 --> 01:02:44,580 is healthy available on on television uh but now with toney and hangman and page off tv for a little 625 01:02:44,580 --> 01:02:50,420 bit we'll see how things carry on with mjf willos brage i'm moxley and more carrying the company 626 01:02:50,420 --> 01:02:55,380 and a very very very interesting men's tag team scene right now in all the wrestling so great night 627 01:02:55,380 --> 01:03:00,660 overall for a w revolution uh with
