  Speaker 1: Have you ever felt unworthy of God's attention?

  Speaker 2: Have you ever looked at your mistakes, your failures, your

  Speaker 2: poor decisions or shortcomings and thought, surely God would choose

  Speaker 2: someone else before he chose me. Well, that's exactly why

  Speaker 2: the story of Zychaus. Zychaus is so powerful. Zychaus wasn't

  Speaker 2: admired by his community. He wasn't perfect as a chief

  Speaker 2: tax collector. He had built his wealth by taking advantage

  Speaker 2: of other people. Many people in the crowd likely viewed

  Speaker 2: him as dishonest, selfish, and undeserving of God's favor.

  Speaker 1: Yet when Jesus.

  Speaker 2: wronged in, every poor decision he had ever made. Yet

  Speaker 2: Jesus didn't approach him with a condemnation. He approached him

  Speaker 2: with an invitation. Come down. In other words, come out

  Speaker 2: of hiding, Come out from behind your image, come out

  Speaker 2: from behind your excuses and your defenses. Meet me with honesty,

  Speaker 2: and let me transform your life.

  Speaker 2: The same invitation is extended to us today. Sometimes we

  Speaker 2: climb up in our own trees, so to speak. We

  Speaker 2: hide behind success. We hide behind titles, accomplishments, pride, hurt, fear,

  Speaker 2: and even religious activity. We try to convince others and

  Speaker 2: sometimes even ourselves that everything is fine. Yet deep inside

  Speaker 2: we know that there are areas that need God's healing touch.

  Speaker 2: The good news is that Jesus doesn't wait until we
• 2:08
  Speaker 2: have everything together before he calls us. He calls us
• 2:11
  Speaker 2: while we're still in the tree. He calls us while
• 2:14
  Speaker 2: we're still struggling. He calls us while we're still in
• 2:17
  Speaker 2: perfect He loves, loves, us regardless. His love reaches us
• 2:22
  Speaker 2: before our transformation begins. When zach Chaos came down and

  Speaker 2: encountered Jesus everything in his life. Change his heart, change

  Speaker 2: his priorities, changed his future.

  Speaker 1: Change. What years of.

  Speaker 2: Wealth and success could not accomplish one genuine encounter with

  Speaker 2: Jesus accomplished it in one single day. Today, Jesus is

  Speaker 2: still calling people by name. He's calling the discourage, he's

  Speaker 2: calling the wounded. He's calling the addicted. He's calling the fearful.

  Speaker 2: He's calling the successful person who still feels empty. He's
• 2:53
  Speaker 2: calling the believer who has drifted away. The question is
• 2:56
  Speaker 2: not whether Jesus is calling. The question is whether we'll respond.

  Speaker 2: And when we humble ourselves and come down from whatever
• 3:05
  Speaker 2: is keeping us from him, we discover that his grace
• 3:08
  Speaker 2: is greater than our failures, his mercy is bigger than
• 3:11
  Speaker 2: our mistakes, and his love is deeper than we ever imagined.

  Speaker 1: Oh Father, thank you, Thank you that you.

  Speaker 2: Know us completely and yet you love us unconditionally. Thank

  Speaker 2: you that you call us by name and invite us.

  Speaker 1: Into a deeper relationship with you. Lord.

  Speaker 2: Help us come down from anything that's keeping us from
• 3:30
  Speaker 2: your best, whether it be pride, fear her guilt or compromise.

  Speaker 2: Search our hearts and reveal any area that needs your touch.

  Speaker 2: Thank you that you do not condemn us, but lovingly

  Speaker 2: call us closer. Today we humble ourselves before you and

  Speaker 2: welcome you into every area of our lives. Change us,
• 3:48
  Speaker 2: heal us, restore us, and make us into the people
• 3:52
  Speaker 2: you called us to be. God. We receive your grace,

  Speaker 2: your mercy, and your salvation in Jesus' name. That your

  Speaker 2: work for today take it applied to your everyday life,

  Speaker 2: and you continue to be encouraged and inspired at your
