I think it may go back to Christmas now that my son is of age where he's starting to understand and we're building him up as to who Santa Claus is. 24 00:01:55,000 --> 00:01:58,000 So there's a chance that that may switch. 25 00:01:58,000 --> 00:02:08,000 But for the longest time, it's just been like we play a flag football game amongst folks that I know. 26 00:02:08,000 --> 00:02:13,000 Then I go to the first stop, my in laws for Thanksgiving. 27 00:02:13,000 --> 00:02:21,000 Watch a little football. I get to watch the lines and packers, my packers on Thursday afternoon here on the East Coast. 28 00:02:21,000 --> 00:02:24,000 Travel real quick, then go to my brothers. 29 00:02:24,000 --> 00:02:29,000 And for the evening Thanksgiving and then come home and just kind of like rest and relax. 30 00:02:29,000 --> 00:02:33,000 It's my favorite day. It's my favorite holiday, Dr. Trey. 31 00:02:33,000 --> 00:02:38,000 So yeah, just simple straight forward just a happy Thanksgiving, my friend. 32 00:02:38,000 --> 00:02:43,000 Yeah, mine, mine's fluctuated over the years like we were when I was younger. 33 00:02:43,000 --> 00:02:45,000 The family was really big on Thanksgiving. 34 00:02:45,000 --> 00:02:51,000 Then as the older generation passed away and the family came a little more splinter with people living in other areas. 35 00:02:51,000 --> 00:02:56,000 It kind of lost its lustre a little bit. 36 00:02:56,000 --> 00:03:00,000 I have some great memories of traveling and being on the road working on Thanksgiving. 37 00:03:00,000 --> 00:03:08,000 I mean, I'm sure you remember some of those days where I'd be like in Massachusetts or Rhode Island or just some weird random spot for the holidays. 38 00:03:08,000 --> 00:03:12,000 Always had some good friends that would invite me over and I could share in their holidays. 39 00:03:12,000 --> 00:03:17,000 And now that you know, put down roots and settled into life in Alabama. 40 00:03:17,000 --> 00:03:27,000 Like I was telling you off air like I adore having Thanksgiving with my grandmother and like she's one of the best cooks and just goes all out. 41 00:03:27,000 --> 00:03:42,000 And then there's my mother-in-law and her combined will cook turkey ham, all the fixings, all the side dishes, the whole nine yards, the whole family comes over even though the house may be a little small for 15 people, but we make it work. 42 00:03:42,000 --> 00:03:49,000 And the fun part is just trying to figure out what Sammy will eat because he is extremely picky about the foods he eats. 43 00:03:49,000 --> 00:03:53,000 It's like, dude, there's literally every dish you could think of out here. 44 00:03:53,000 --> 00:04:05,000 There's not chicken and french fries. I'm good. That's the hard part. But for everybody else, it's eat, be merry and try not to pass out on the way back to your own home. 45 00:04:05,000 --> 00:04:14,000 Is there hope that like as he gets older because I was like a picky eater grown up that he becomes a fan of Thanksgiving? Or are you losing hope in that? 46 00:04:14,000 --> 00:04:28,000 So between my wife, my stepson and him, I've lost hope. My wife is and most merry guys can attest to this. It's always fun trying to figure out where we're going to eat because she will be like, no, I don't want that. 47 00:04:28,000 --> 00:04:35,000 Nope, I don't want that. And most guys are like, I don't care. I just need food to come inside me. I don't really, I doesn't matter what it is. 48 00:04:35,000 --> 00:04:50,000 My stepson though is extremely picky. We've broadened his palate over the years, but he's the kid that will go get a cheeseburger plane, just meat and cheese, tacos, just meat and cheese, no fixings, no vegetables. 49 00:04:50,000 --> 00:04:59,000 Sammy, we were slowly like, I kid you not like three weeks ago, my wife flipped out because I got him to eat a mozzarella stick. 50 00:04:59,000 --> 00:05:17,000 Like it was the first one that he actually ate without like it being forced upon him. He was like, this is good. And I'm like, you do realize dad's recovering fat guy. Like I will not direct you in the path of bad food. Like if I tell you something's good, it's because it's actually good. 51 00:05:17,000 --> 00:05:31,000 Yeah, no, I mean, there's a lot of great food Thanksgiving wise. I feel like we talk about this every year. Is it is like the mac and cheese is like a big thing as part of your regular Thanksgiving. Do I have that right? 52 00:05:31,000 --> 00:05:40,000 No, it was in previous iterations. Now it's mostly so we have ham turkey, mashed potatoes. 53 00:05:40,000 --> 00:05:58,000 Ham is the one that you have. I'm not a big turkey guy. I love my ham. I've gotten more as the longer I've lived in Alabama. I've grown to like sweet potato casseroles or pies, depending on doesn't really I used to never like them. And now I'm like, okay, not so bad. 54 00:05:58,000 --> 00:06:12,000 And my step mom, back when she was able to actually cook is like she made a really good broccoli casserole as well. So yeah, it's always interesting because every every so often it's like you have your core. 55 00:06:12,000 --> 00:06:21,000 Your core meats and your core sampling of side dishes and then somebody besides they want to be creative and try something new for Thanksgiving or a holiday is like. 56 00:06:21,000 --> 00:06:31,000 Yeah, that one we should have skipped out of could just stick to your basic vegetable your green beans your my family should just do a candied carrots at Thanksgiving also. 57 00:06:31,000 --> 00:06:36,000 Oh, those are really good. What does that consist of? It's basically just carrots and syrup. 58 00:06:36,000 --> 00:06:46,000 Like I said, is that what it is? Okay. Yeah, it's nothing fancy. It's just very simple. It's kind of like how they make candied yams like as we could say it own. Same thing just with carrots. 59 00:06:46,000 --> 00:06:54,000 But yeah, like as long as like if you give me some like give me a vegetable at least. So I don't feel like a total pig. 60 00:06:54,000 --> 00:07:04,000 Then I'm usually going to shape it. Give me the green beans with the bacon, mixed in and all that stuff and season and we're good to go and then like yeah, they'll always try to push me to get turkey. 61 00:07:04,000 --> 00:07:10,000 And I'm like, okay, I'll eat it a little bit because somebody worked really hard to make this. But I'm focusing on the ham. 62 00:07:10,000 --> 00:07:22,000 Now do they deep fried turkeys for one of the dinners this Thursday? Not at this house. Now my dad is a deep like he loved deep frying turkeys. 63 00:07:22,000 --> 00:07:33,000 Although he was not an expert at it one year. He lost the needle like he would inject his turkeys with orange juice to give a little extra flavor. 64 00:07:33,000 --> 00:07:46,000 And then deep fry it and he went to do that one year and lost the needle in the turkey somewhere. And we literally like after he deep fried it, we had to put it in the microwave just to see which one if a piece would spark. 65 00:07:46,000 --> 00:07:56,000 Yeah. And never found it. Nobody nobody bit into it. We just it just disappears. I assume it got lodged in a bone and nobody got it. 66 00:07:56,000 --> 00:08:12,000 Yeah, we've had we've never had any of the fires. We've never had any severe burns. Thank God. Some near some near misses because somebody once tried to they were defrosting the turkey and then it was still have much moisture on it from the ice melting. 67 00:08:12,000 --> 00:08:25,000 It went right to deep fry and did kind of explode out. But me, I'm like, no, I every woman in my in laws can bake a turkey correctly. So we don't need to deep fry it. 68 00:08:25,000 --> 00:08:42,000 All right. Right on. Hey, you know what? I'm doing 50 50. So I'm doing the traditional turkey for the first round. And then my brother is deep frying turkey. And I love it. I get to get to have hands in both styles of turkeys. It's a very. 69 00:08:42,000 --> 00:08:50,000 It's a very manly thing when you say you're a deal like I don't know any women who are like, I'm going to deep fry a turkey. It's always a guy. 70 00:08:50,000 --> 00:08:56,000 Yeah, 100%. It's like we can't really I mean, I've had people smoke their turkeys for Thanksgiving. That's cool. 71 00:08:56,000 --> 00:09:12,000 Never had a grilled one, but usually if it's if it's a woman preparing the dinner is some kind of baked glaze really kind of pretty turkey. And if it's a guy's like, I'm going to shove this turkey into the hottest boiling oil I can find. 72 00:09:12,000 --> 00:09:24,000 I mean, it should sounds very masculine when you do it that way. Yeah, absolutely. And it's absolutely delicious. It's it's a guy thing to cook them. And then it's like a female thing to be like that's actually pretty good. 73 00:09:24,000 --> 00:09:37,000 Like that's always the response. There's always like this shock. Even like years of doing it. Like my wife and my mom are both like really excited for the turkey after having it. 74 00:09:37,000 --> 00:09:49,000 Like it tastes really good. And I can't get my in-law side to like give it a shot because they don't want to veer off of the traditional path. Plus they don't want to screw up Thanksgiving dinner, which I can totally understand. 75 00:09:49,000 --> 00:09:53,000 That should probably not be the time that you test. Hey, let me deep fry a turkey right now. 76 00:09:53,000 --> 00:10:01,000 At least on your side of the family with you and your brother, you have trained professionals on site. It's something goes the rye as well. 77 00:10:01,000 --> 00:10:13,000 So yeah, yes, we know how to tell people to evacuate a building and also not spread a great fire. So yeah, Thanksgiving. It's traditionally a big holiday in the world of professional wrestling, even today. 78 00:10:13,000 --> 00:10:21,000 And there'll be something stuff that we'll talk about in this week's edition and show that is just surrounded in professional wrestling, whether V.A.W. full gear. 79 00:10:21,000 --> 00:10:33,000 The return of the continental classic or don't really survive a series this weekend. It still has that Thanksgiving traditional feel when it comes to professional wrestling. 80 00:10:33,000 --> 00:10:43,000 We'll cover it all on this week's edition of the show. Thank you for making part of your thanksgiving. We always have traditionally said this is the 16th time we've done a show now on Thanksgiving. 81 00:10:43,000 --> 00:10:57,000 16th straight years and we always the tagline is that we hope that this is like an hour to get away from the family for a little bit and just talk and just listen to or talk with some professional wrestling chatter here between Dr. Trey and I on SRT you. 82 00:10:57,000 --> 00:11:07,000 Friendly reminder starting soon, starting this Monday, Patreon will be free for the month of December as part of our listener appreciation month. 83 00:11:07,000 --> 00:11:17,000 Sign up now patreon.com/srtupodcast if you don't want to pay. It was this past Saturday from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. 89 00:12:07,000 --> 00:12:19,000 I'll run through the results here then we'll discuss some things that that stuck out you had the bag bag gang defeating Max Kaster and Anthony Bowen's big bill and Brian Keith and the Outrunders in the tailgate brawl for $200,000. 90 00:12:19,000 --> 00:12:28,000 Bumin Doom, big boom AJ and QT Marge on the feet RPG vice by pinfall the tailgate brawl Eddie Kingston and hooked to feed the workhorseman on the tailgate brawl. 91 00:12:28,000 --> 00:12:40,000 L Sky team defeated the Don Cales family, O'Cotta, Tikeshka and Etch and Sarah by submission to retain the CMLL World Trio's championship that started the tailgate brawl and then ended on full gear. 92 00:12:40,000 --> 00:12:49,000 Pock defeated Darby Allen the timeless love bombs won the women's fatal for away about the against the remaining teams in the women's acting title tournament. 93 00:12:49,000 --> 00:12:59,000 Now they get a pick their stipulation. FTR are the new AW tag team champions defeating Brodito, Ricochet won the Casino Gautlin match to become the inaugural AW national champion. 94 00:12:59,000 --> 00:13:04,000 Kyla Riley defeated and tapped out John Moxley once again in a no holds bar match. 95 00:13:04,000 --> 00:13:09,000 Mark Brisco defeated Kyle Fletcher in no DQ match to win the AWT and T championship. 96 00:13:09,000 --> 00:13:15,000 Josh Alexander the Young Bucks defeated Kenny Omega Jurassic Express to win the $1 million Trio's match. 97 00:13:15,000 --> 00:13:22,000 Post match the Young Bucks make the save and help Kenny Omega out and it looks like the elite are back together. 98 00:13:22,000 --> 00:13:35,000 Chris Stattl entered a feeding Mercedes Monet to retain the AW Women's World Championship and Samoa Joe defeats Hangman Adam Page in a steel cage match to win his second run as AW World Champion. 99 00:13:35,000 --> 00:13:41,000 Dr. Trey some thoughts and takeaways from AWF full gear this past Saturday my friend. 100 00:13:41,000 --> 00:13:52,000 Very interesting card as far as the results go. I mean not too shocking or surprising. I think last week I called the hook angle. 101 00:13:52,000 --> 00:13:59,000 Like get involved and you did be constantly hangman the match and it worked out that way. 102 00:13:59,000 --> 00:14:10,000 I'm kind of good with FTR becoming the AW World tag team. James Brodito was fun but I kind of want AW's tag team division to get back to being the tag team division at one point. 103 00:14:10,000 --> 00:14:23,000 And we're starting to see that when you see the box you see Jurassic Express back together see him bones and caster even though there's you know storyline drama in there but still the acclaimed. 104 00:14:23,000 --> 00:14:31,000 We're starting to see AW kind of round back out the tag team division again which I think is a really good thing. 105 00:14:31,000 --> 00:14:42,000 I don't know how I feel about the results of the casino gauntlet battle. Like I'm happy that ricochet what like I'm his heel runs been pretty good and it's good on him to actually get a championship. 106 00:14:42,000 --> 00:14:51,000 I think this is his first title since he was the North American champion. Like that just tells you how long ago that was. 107 00:14:51,000 --> 00:14:56,000 But I still don't get like if you got the hurts and it can starting off one and two what it's really. 108 00:14:56,000 --> 00:15:02,000 I see title run sorry I don't think he did I think he was I see champion. 109 00:15:02,000 --> 00:15:07,000 I might be wrong. I don't know if it was it's not very memorable. 110 00:15:07,000 --> 00:15:16,000 Was it US I don't I'm looking up right now I thought he had US I know he had US title let's say WWE. 111 00:15:16,000 --> 00:15:25,000 We were we were competing in a continental championship run United States championship run so he did help those and also was the very first speed champion Dr. Try so. 112 00:15:25,000 --> 00:15:36,000 The speed champion I don't count because I don't mean I mean it was a YouTube thing. I mean it was a excuse me an egg and a Twitter X thing like that's like counting all the 24 seven championships. 113 00:15:36,000 --> 00:15:40,000 But that's just like I don't remember the IC or US title runs. 114 00:15:40,000 --> 00:15:49,000 That's just so shit like I vaguely like now you mentioned like I vaguely remember the US title being on him but it wasn't there very long. 115 00:15:49,000 --> 00:15:57,000 What he's most known for in that IC title run. What's that? Gunther defeated him to start the streak. 116 00:15:57,000 --> 00:16:06,000 Yeah that's a good point because I honestly know you said I'm like yeah I don't think I could have said if you said hey who did Gunther beat to be IC champion. 117 00:16:06,000 --> 00:16:12,000 I don't think ricochet would have been on my list. Yeah that just came to me I was like I now I remember this it was like right around the time. 118 00:16:12,000 --> 00:16:20,000 I think they were doing the world cup deal on Smackdown very briefly and then Gunther defeated him and that started the stretch. 119 00:16:20,000 --> 00:16:30,000 Am I wrong in kind of questioning why you put the horse in a kit and one and two and then they don't just somebody just doesn't lay down and let the other guy pet him and I don't know. 120 00:16:30,000 --> 00:16:32,000 Like the old new HL laws deal. 121 00:16:32,000 --> 00:16:41,000 Yeah yeah but this is and then this way it's legal you know it's just like this how the match goes out you have two competitors and you know it's first pin fall. 122 00:16:41,000 --> 00:16:46,000 Why don't you just let you know show an Benjamin B. 123 00:16:46,000 --> 00:16:51,000 You know the first national champion because Bobby laid down for Michelle Burns at our vice versa like it just it. 124 00:16:51,000 --> 00:16:55,000 I don't know they could have spaced it out a little bit I would have been I would have questioned it. 125 00:16:55,000 --> 00:17:04,000 Stattlender beating Monet I mean that's pretty cool like that's only Mercedes fourth singles loss since she came to AEW. 126 00:17:04,000 --> 00:17:12,000 So that kind of helps elevate Stattlender and that's now twice that she's challenged for that belt and lost. 127 00:17:12,000 --> 00:17:17,000 So overall I mean in the Samoa Joe hangman thing once again. 128 00:17:17,000 --> 00:17:25,000 I hangman's runs over and and where do you rank it do you think it was a good title run because I to me. 129 00:17:25,000 --> 00:17:35,000 The hook turned and the return of Swarve almost overshadows the win but was this hangman title run better than his previous title run and just kind of. 130 00:17:35,000 --> 00:17:43,000 I don't know I guess it kind of feels a little flat I guess I don't really know how you how you think of that. 131 00:17:43,000 --> 00:17:46,000 I think both of his real title runs are pretty flat. 132 00:17:46,000 --> 00:17:48,000 I think the first one is better than second one. 133 00:17:48,000 --> 00:18:05,000 What's to me is I hate to say this because I love hangman and page it just feels like he's a little bit of a transitional champion and has been because I think they knew they needed to take the title off of Moxley but they had no plan in place on how to book. 134 00:18:05,000 --> 00:18:14,000 Hangman post the all out match between him and John Moxley or all in excuse me. 135 00:18:14,000 --> 00:18:28,000 It feels weird that you know he can beat mox which I guess you know Kylo Riley have any wins over mox kind of brings Moxley down a peg but you know you're having a book is also shocking which I'll bring up. 136 00:18:28,000 --> 00:18:42,000 But like you're having a member of your trios champion become the world champion it kind of feels like not I mean the rivalry has been pretty good in the hook turns pretty cool and you know I get it hops is kind of out you like having the three guys in the mix but. 137 00:18:42,000 --> 00:19:05,000 It just feels a little bit off and I mean unless you're positioning Joe to be like this monster heel champion that nobody can get to all moxley the death writers like I just I mean are you setting up for swerve to take the belt right off of Joe like it's just a little bit weird and then the pot Darby thing I don't I don't know about you but that feels weird too is like. 138 00:19:05,000 --> 00:19:34,000 Like Darby supposed to be like the big hero the big you know momentum baby face guy and you know like you're having a lose to pop and I'm not trying to suspect pop but really in the death writers he's the third guy in the death writers you probably have mox and Claudio and then pop and then you know you to hang our see in that kind of order that in the packing order and you're like Darby supposed to be one of your top baby faces and you're having a lose to the third ranked guy in the death writers. 139 00:19:34,000 --> 00:19:56,000 That's kind of odd to me. Well there's a lot of interesting like interweaving here so pop Darby I agree with you like I don't understand why in 2025 Darby Allen wasn't booked like Kylo Riley was I get Sean moxley I'm not even asking for like dominance but to your point I think everybody kind of gets that vibe that. 140 00:19:56,000 --> 00:20:05,000 Similarly hangman out of page when they launched AW was that this is time for Darby to be one of the guys in the company and I would have. 141 00:20:05,000 --> 00:20:11,000 Ventured a guess he would have had a AW world champion Chipper on this year if you know on January 1st you're like. 142 00:20:11,000 --> 00:20:22,000 Do you think Darby becomes AW world champion would be like absolutely you probably defeats John moxley and becomes a super over baby face for the company it hasn't been that way his. 143 00:20:22,000 --> 00:20:33,000 His return was nice then his feud with moxley he struggled and he finally got the win and then he comes out of the win and then he takes another loss to pop and it's like I don't. 144 00:20:33,000 --> 00:20:45,000 Get the reason there then in the same sense parallel wise they're booking Kylo Riley so dominant against John moxley like it's come out of nowhere I like it I love it I'm huge fan of Kylo Riley. 145 00:20:45,000 --> 00:20:53,000 But I can't I don't know where and I would have preferred to see Darby get that shine that Kyle is getting right now. 146 00:20:53,000 --> 00:21:05,000 And then the Samoa Joe hangman out of page stuff it makes me really wonder dr. Trey that I don't know of AW or Tony con knows how to book a baby face as a world champion. 147 00:21:05,000 --> 00:21:29,000 Because I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt here I don't know if the Swarp injury or the will us brain injury kind of screwed things up for Adam page and coming out of all in against moxley I don't know if mjf he was a I mean they they had a match and then he went down on a few with Mark brisco then he went away because I think he's filming something I don't know if the filming schedule of mjf got in the way. 148 00:21:29,000 --> 00:21:44,000 But I mean we talked about here on the podcast where AW essentially needed to turn some Ojo to heal to give Adam page someone to feud with and that's what they did I did not think it was going to lead to another 149 00:21:44,000 --> 00:22:05,000 Samo Joe world championship run love Samo Joe think he's great but I would have loved to see hangman and page get another victory and sure as shit you know give me page versus Swarp again as baby faces in December world's end let them feud again I don't care maybe this one's built on respect rather than burning houses and putting a syringe in each other's mouth. 150 00:22:05,000 --> 00:22:28,000 It's it's for the most part I've been very happy content with AW and when I look here in less than a month's time when we talk about and do our award show I think AW is really in the discussion for promotion of the year I really do I think it's been a nice bounce back year but there is booking that they do that is confusing 151 00:22:28,000 --> 00:22:52,000 and I think this show while it was booked very well and was a very entertaining show and I loved how they booked it going into it as well coming out of it there's more questions than there are answers and it's not the questions that are like I can't wait to see how Wednesday turns out and watch dynamite I think it's more like what is AW doing with their booking. 152 00:22:52,000 --> 00:23:21,000 Yeah because now you have you know the ops as a big he'll stable you have the don call his family is big he'll stable you have the death writers floating around and then you have I mean you have your big smash a baby faces but yeah to your points like like something mox and I love that Kyle's getting a push but it doesn't make sense to me that Kyle still not positioned as a main event baby face even with these wins I think people are still kind of think it looking almost like it's for the first time. 153 00:23:21,000 --> 00:23:50,000 You know and then me we have Darby like I said losing to the third member of the death writers you have hangman losing to to Joe and you're just like it's weird because the baby faces that you think should be going over or not and the ones that are probably shouldn't be but like I love your point I don't really I mean really guys like hangman to a degree Cody 154 00:23:50,000 --> 00:24:19,000 they're kind of I mean Cody's baby what I want the few baby faces that's better as the champ than in the chase but some of these guys like hangman even swerve to a degree even punk like sometimes they're better as a baby face in chase mode and not champion because they almost feel like they have to water them down a little bit as the champion of the company in the face of the company you have to kind of water that edge down that kind of makes the 155 00:24:19,000 --> 00:24:47,000 popular on the climb. I mean really like in the last 20 years like how many like great baby face champions can you think of where you're like I'm in on this entire run of this guy's a baby face because usually we get sick of those guys when they're constantly winning so it's kind of hard to book baby face champions because you kind of want the good guy chasing the bad guy get the win get screwed over and then get on the chase again 156 00:24:47,000 --> 00:25:16,000 that's just typically how wrestling's gone outside of the the Hogan run of the 80s has always been baby face chases gets a win short rain back on the chase well Steve Austin as much as I love screwed everything up on the late 90s there he'll persona baby face super over kind of screwed everything up where your clean cut baby face is not going to be as over as they were when it was Hulk Hogan 157 00:25:16,000 --> 00:25:33,000 macho man warrior Shawn Michaels bright heart whatever that you know white meat baby face there was I do believe there have been instances where it has worked I think Cody Rhodes is a case where it has work that they see a punk I think some people would argue and say that he's a tweener. 158 00:25:33,000 --> 00:25:43,000 He certainly not that clean cut baby face I think the other one that immediately pops into mind for me is Daniel Bryan back in 2014 had that run where 159 00:25:43,000 --> 00:26:00,000 where that's what say yes that that's the you know that the Brian Danes it was the chase like once he won the title I mean he got hurt and lost and they took the belt off of them not too long after like most of them yeah he got injured but we don't really I don't know if we would ever we don't 160 00:26:00,000 --> 00:26:12,960 really know how that would it's earned out right in that very small part it was not successful but I would argue and I would say that Cody's run with both times his champion and I agree with you yeah I 161 00:26:12,960 --> 00:26:34,960 think we were all about the chase I think even coming out of it I think he's done a good job where people aren't turning on him and giving him the let's go see a scene of sucks chance yet I mean seen as another was guys that you know with the first couple title runs people were on it and then by the time he got to like year 10 we were like all right super seen as you know it's kind of getting everybody's 162 00:26:34,960 --> 00:27:04,920 Cody just has the look he has the knowledge like he just is that kind of face of the company kind of guy I don't know if hangman because you got like the whole build to get to this was hangman having that edge and the cowboy shit and just like I don't know if those guys that played those type of like rough around the edges characters really good good long title runs because they kind of feel like they do kind of water them down a little bit just to kind of fit a narrative in a sense and and 163 00:27:04,920 --> 00:27:34,820 that's why I think swarves title run wasn't as long as we would like you know a few others it is kind of hard to book just a white meat baby face champion you brought up Austin Austin had the the advantage of having the boss of the company be his main adversary so that guy was always throwing these crazy obstacles for him to overcome to hold on to the belt when you don't have somebody throw crazy obstacles at a baby face champion is kind of hard to do 164 00:27:34,820 --> 00:27:44,320 kind of stand there side because then you do enter super seen among yeah yeah then it becomes water down and it's not an enjoyable product at that part at that point 165 00:27:44,320 --> 00:27:54,660 a w is a lot to maneuver and hopefully they have a plan place you would hope by the way that they've made these decisions that they do because to your point now multiple major factions death writers donk 166 00:27:54,660 --> 00:28:00,980 family ops. You can't all be heels, someone's got to turn babyface, is it possible that this 167 00:28:00,980 --> 00:28:06,280 whole thing with Moxley is leading to him returning to the babyface. And let's say, you know, you 168 00:28:06,280 --> 00:28:10,980 bring a puck like the way that their booking him is quite strange, could puck lead the charge 169 00:28:10,980 --> 00:28:14,400 on the death riders to turn their backs on John Moxley. Because this is how it always plays out. 170 00:28:14,400 --> 00:28:19,800 At some point, you know, the the stable turns on one another. I think you're on the verge of seeing 171 00:28:19,800 --> 00:28:25,080 that with the Don Calis family and Antiquechka. Like that's how this eventually happens. Could 172 00:28:25,080 --> 00:28:30,880 that be happening with the death riders? And you know, I called Hangman page earlier, like I feel 173 00:28:30,880 --> 00:28:36,000 like he he's kind of like a transitional champion. I don't think there's no one more than a 174 00:28:36,000 --> 00:28:41,840 transitional champion in a W World Championship history than Samoa Joe. Because Joe took the title off 175 00:28:41,840 --> 00:28:46,920 MJF and then dropped it to Swarth Strickland. And I love Joe. I don't think he should be a 176 00:28:46,920 --> 00:28:51,320 transitional champion. I think Hangman page should be. But I think that that's what this is setting up for 177 00:28:51,320 --> 00:28:55,400 is him being here again, being World Champion that he's going to eventually drop the title, maybe 178 00:28:55,400 --> 00:29:00,200 in the next three to four months. I don't think this is a long title run. Unfortunately, who is the next 179 00:29:00,200 --> 00:29:08,280 person he drops it to? Is it Swarth again? If Swarth's healthy and 100% absolutely. I think he's back. 180 00:29:08,280 --> 00:29:14,200 Yeah, I think I mean, like I said, he's no it's either is I mean, because what will still about what 181 00:29:14,920 --> 00:29:19,400 five months away from coming back? There's rumbling that he may be back in the first year. 182 00:29:19,400 --> 00:29:26,120 You're got to hope now. I hope he's 100% healthy. He may be a freakishly healthy or freakishly fast 183 00:29:26,120 --> 00:29:32,280 recovery guy. But yeah, even but then even then when you look at it, okay, well, if you have Hangman, 184 00:29:32,280 --> 00:29:39,080 you have if if the death writers turn on Mox, let's say Mox is a baby phase and then you have 185 00:29:41,160 --> 00:29:47,640 Swarth and you know Kyle or I just get this big push. You got a bunch of baby faces to challenge. 186 00:29:47,640 --> 00:29:54,520 So maybe that makes the the run enjoyable. To me, though, it's kind of got to be Swarth because I 187 00:29:54,520 --> 00:30:01,560 think a lot of people feel short-changed by that first run. And I mean, you heard the reaction. 188 00:30:01,560 --> 00:30:07,720 Although I don't know about you. I did not like the new music. No, same. Yeah, it was like it doesn't 189 00:30:07,720 --> 00:30:13,160 match not as dance and we need not a dancing to kind of help elevate it to. But yeah, like I think 190 00:30:13,160 --> 00:30:20,680 people felt short-changed by Swarth's first run and it would be ironic for Joe to lose the belt twice 191 00:30:20,680 --> 00:30:27,240 to the same guy. True. So it's it's like who'd they drop it to? I'd love to see Okada get a run. I 192 00:30:27,240 --> 00:30:31,960 think the fact that Okada has a gun of run as he had a world champion at this point is is 193 00:30:31,960 --> 00:30:37,640 surprising as well. That's why I think they probably put a title on him. I would love a Swarth Okada 194 00:30:37,640 --> 00:30:43,800 feud. And like in you know, Swarth gets the cows family just in general then Takeshka turns and joins 195 00:30:43,800 --> 00:30:48,680 you a baby face side. But you know, the the promos of just Okada just muttering stuff in Japanese 196 00:30:48,680 --> 00:30:54,040 then looking at Swarth and not just yelling out bitch and walking away would be great. And it's 197 00:30:54,040 --> 00:31:00,600 my the content of the classic might be a way for them to get that belt off Okada to move Okada up 198 00:31:00,600 --> 00:31:05,640 to main event level as well. I do think Takeshka is going to be turning sooner rather than later, 199 00:31:05,640 --> 00:31:10,520 but I certainly hear you there. All right, so with that said keep it up with some of Joe Dr. Trey. I 200 00:31:10,520 --> 00:31:18,040 thought this statistic was really insane. For the first time since 2008, Samoa Joe and CM Punk 201 00:31:18,040 --> 00:31:25,560 are world champion Simon Tainesley here in 2025. That was 17 years ago. And if you're like me, 202 00:31:25,560 --> 00:31:31,000 Dr. Trey, you may fall in this as well. I used to read PWInsider 1Ressing.com. I used to read all the 203 00:31:31,000 --> 00:31:36,120 Indie shows results. I didn't watch if we didn't have YouTube then. And I would read the ROH 204 00:31:36,120 --> 00:31:41,240 results and you know, we see Samoa Joe CM Punk on the Indie scene. So these are like guys that I 205 00:31:41,240 --> 00:31:49,160 literally grew up on. With that said, here we are in 2025. Which two wrestlers are likely to be 206 00:31:49,160 --> 00:31:58,760 world champions that are wrestling now 17 years from now in 2042. So in 2042, who is going to be the 207 00:31:58,760 --> 00:32:04,040 Samoa Joe and CM Punk that will be Simon Tainesley world champions and today it could be male or female. 208 00:32:04,040 --> 00:32:06,840 Can I take Javie on Evans? 209 00:32:09,880 --> 00:32:16,760 Because he's 21. It is 17 years. He'll only be 38. Like in 17 years, Jeff, he will be younger than you 210 00:32:16,760 --> 00:32:22,600 and I are now. That to me blows me away. I mean, this is then that kid just had a really banger match with 211 00:32:22,600 --> 00:32:29,240 Gunther. Not too long ago. I appreciate you saying that. Thank you so much. Yes. I'm trying to think 212 00:32:29,240 --> 00:32:33,880 of younger than we are right now. That's fantastic. Thank you. Thanks. Happy Thanksgiving, Javie. 213 00:32:37,240 --> 00:32:41,800 I'll take Kyle Fletcher. I think Kyle could be one of those guys that's around in 20 years as long as he 214 00:32:41,800 --> 00:32:49,560 kind of maybe modifies his style a little bit. I don't know if Braun Breaker will be around in 17 215 00:32:49,560 --> 00:32:57,480 years. I don't know. Maybe Dom. Dom's under 30. So even 20 or 17 years from now, he'll still be in his 216 00:32:57,480 --> 00:33:03,560 early to mid 40s. So that's what I'm just trying to. I'm trying to think of like timeline and wise of 217 00:33:03,560 --> 00:33:10,840 guys who you know love wrestling. Maybe can't do anything else outside of wrestling. 218 00:33:10,840 --> 00:33:19,800 It will kind of linger around forever because I mean, Braun Breaker, I mean, he's already 26 or 27. 219 00:33:19,800 --> 00:33:25,480 So that would put him in his mid 40s as well. But I just think with the family legacy and I think 220 00:33:25,480 --> 00:33:30,360 as much as he'll make in the short term, I don't because I look at Braun Breaker. I'm like, that guy could 221 00:33:30,360 --> 00:33:37,880 also have been action movie star in the mid 20 30s. Like the physique, the build, the promo ability, 222 00:33:37,880 --> 00:33:42,360 like he's raised around entertainment. He may not be around in 15 years. 223 00:33:42,360 --> 00:33:50,840 Bronson Reed, I think I think the injuries will take a toll on him. Logan Paul's already in his 30s. 224 00:33:50,840 --> 00:33:55,080 So that would put him almost 15 or 17 years. There's gonna be a world championship run for Logan Paul. 225 00:33:55,960 --> 00:34:02,520 Somebody's right over some wrestling fans brain just exploded. If you don't think WWE is not 226 00:34:02,520 --> 00:34:07,400 the trucker way to make Logan Paul World champion capitalized on this, you're missing the both. 227 00:34:07,400 --> 00:34:13,160 They are an entertainment company. So I agree with you on Braun and Dom. Those would be my picks. 228 00:34:13,160 --> 00:34:16,200 I love the Kyle Fletcher pick. Can I add another duo? Sure. 229 00:34:16,200 --> 00:34:18,440 Reigns and Lesnar. 230 00:34:21,080 --> 00:34:29,560 Robert's Reigns. I was just looking for a reaction. I gotta be honest. It's like 17 years from now, 231 00:34:29,560 --> 00:34:34,040 we hear that music hit and we're like, up another Brock payday. Here we go. 232 00:34:34,040 --> 00:34:39,880 No, I have Brock in 17 years comes out, the music hits and he comes out and he does that fall. 233 00:34:39,880 --> 00:34:41,640 Like what happened on Monday night, he'll break it up. 234 00:34:41,640 --> 00:34:46,120 That was some all-timer. He sold it well. Gotta give him props. 235 00:34:47,560 --> 00:34:51,960 Was that Braun Breaker right there when he came to the... I didn't see who he put the 236 00:34:51,960 --> 00:34:54,920 cat. It was Braun Breaker. It was Braun Breaker, yes. 237 00:34:54,920 --> 00:34:57,240 And then the cowboy had disappeared because... 238 00:34:57,240 --> 00:35:01,560 Heyman was holding it. It's funny you say that because I was actually watching for that. 239 00:35:01,560 --> 00:35:05,320 And Heyman was holding along with the, I think Brock's Vest to close out. 240 00:35:05,320 --> 00:35:10,280 All right, so feel free to chime in. I thought that was wild to see Samojo, CM Punk, 241 00:35:10,280 --> 00:35:14,200 in 2008, World Champion, here we are in 2025, there, World Champions. 242 00:35:16,200 --> 00:35:20,280 I think if you told us back in 2008, is that a possibility we wouldn't believe it, but here it is. 243 00:35:20,280 --> 00:35:26,440 It is. So what are two wrestling stars that could be World Champions today that we could see 244 00:35:26,440 --> 00:35:33,480 in 17 years from now in 2042? Keeping with AW Doctor Trey, the 2025 AW 245 00:35:33,480 --> 00:35:39,160 Continental Classic field is set. The blue league will feature Kenosuke Takashka, John Moxley, 246 00:35:39,160 --> 00:35:46,120 Claudio Kasignoly, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Masquerade Dorada. So we get a Moxley 247 00:35:46,120 --> 00:35:51,080 Claudio match at some point in the blue league. The gold league will have Darby Allen, 248 00:35:51,080 --> 00:35:57,240 Pock, Kevin Knight, Speedball Mike Bailey, Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchka O'Cotta. So we get an O'Cotta 249 00:35:57,240 --> 00:36:02,680 Fletcher match at some point. Fletcher versus Pock, which will be badass. Dr. Trey, your thoughts 250 00:36:02,680 --> 00:36:09,800 on the field and who is your favorite to be in the Continental Classic finals? It's really interesting 251 00:36:09,800 --> 00:36:15,720 the way they put this together because not only do you get, you can, not only do you get the match, 252 00:36:15,720 --> 00:36:22,040 you also get Speedball against Kevin Knight. There's groups together Takashka, I mean, 253 00:36:22,040 --> 00:36:26,840 as you know, O'Cotta and Fletcher be great, Mike Bailey and Kevin Nile be great. Some of these 254 00:36:26,840 --> 00:36:33,960 matchups of friend versus friend will be really interesting. Claudio and Mox, because I originally 255 00:36:33,960 --> 00:36:39,800 thought they had Pock in the blue league also and Masquerade Dorado in the gold league because I 256 00:36:39,800 --> 00:36:44,920 thought that would be how you do it. Starting to the breakup of the Death Riders is that either Pock 257 00:36:44,920 --> 00:36:52,840 or Claudio end up beating Moxley in this and then they all turn on him. So my pick to win the whole 258 00:36:52,840 --> 00:36:59,160 thing is Takeshita because I'd the comment that Don Callas said about O'Cotta being the greatest 259 00:36:59,160 --> 00:37:07,480 tournament wrestler of all time after Takeshita won the G1. It kind of makes me feel like they foreshadowed 260 00:37:07,480 --> 00:37:12,680 that Takeshita might win this whole thing. So that's kind of who I'm leaning towards right now at 261 00:37:12,680 --> 00:37:19,400 least. Yeah, I'm with you. I think that this is being set up for Takashka, O'Cotta finals at World's 262 00:37:19,400 --> 00:37:27,000 End. But can you do the like how does it so is it the top four and then semi final matches like 263 00:37:27,000 --> 00:37:32,200 the top two of the goal league, the top two of the blue league. So last year what they did was 264 00:37:32,200 --> 00:37:39,240 I think it was like the top four seats. I think it was the top two and the blue league 265 00:37:40,360 --> 00:37:46,280 went one on one and then the top two and the gold league went one on one in the semi's and then 266 00:37:46,280 --> 00:37:53,320 they had the the finals to crown the eventual winner. I'm just taking a look here as to how that worked 267 00:37:53,320 --> 00:38:00,760 in 2024. How they do that. Yeah, because to me, like that, yeah, I agree that I think they're setting 268 00:38:00,760 --> 00:38:05,960 up O'Cotta to Keshton the Founts. But I'm still confused because isn't O'Cotta the international champion? 269 00:38:07,800 --> 00:38:11,800 O'Cotta is the unified champion. I mean, that's what we we were talking about last week, right? So 270 00:38:11,800 --> 00:38:17,960 they still call it the continental classic. But he's the unified champion, which is the continental 271 00:38:17,960 --> 00:38:24,200 title in the international title merged together. So does that mean whoever wins the classic is 272 00:38:24,200 --> 00:38:29,320 is the international title not on the line on this and we made up a two belts out of this again. Dr. 273 00:38:29,320 --> 00:38:36,440 Tray, I don't work at AW. I'd be nice if I did. I don't I don't know the full details on that. 274 00:38:36,440 --> 00:38:40,920 I got to be honest with you and I haven't watched the YouTube video. I just saw the field that was set. 275 00:38:40,920 --> 00:38:47,080 But to answer the original question, 2024 last year at World's End, they did the semis. So the leader 276 00:38:47,080 --> 00:38:53,000 and the blue league Kyle Fletcher defeated, excuse me, lost to Will Osprey who was second in the gold league. 277 00:38:53,000 --> 00:38:58,600 And then the one seed in the gold league lost to the two seed in the blue league, which was O'Cotta. 278 00:38:58,600 --> 00:39:04,760 And then O'Cotta defeated Osprey and the championship final in 2024. That's why they did it last year. 279 00:39:04,760 --> 00:39:09,800 Let's see here. What is Wikipedia saying? So, 280 00:39:09,800 --> 00:39:17,000 tournament matches are held under continental rules. We'll feature a 20 minute time limit with no one 281 00:39:17,000 --> 00:39:22,040 allowed at rings out and outside interference strictly prohibited. The prize of the tournament is the AW 282 00:39:22,040 --> 00:39:29,080 Continental Championship. So that's I don't know. I don't know. Because you're right. They haven't 283 00:39:29,080 --> 00:39:34,920 clarified that yet. So I think Wikipedia is just using last year's stuff. Yeah. I apologize that we 284 00:39:34,920 --> 00:39:37,640 don't have that. So if there's people that are listening that are screaming at their 285 00:39:37,640 --> 00:39:45,480 radios, air pods would have you my apologies. And if you're screaming at us, I'm sorry because 286 00:39:45,480 --> 00:39:50,040 they haven't clarified it to anybody else. So if you think you know more than us without AW clarifying 287 00:39:50,040 --> 00:39:57,080 this, then you should be working for AW because it's still unclear. But no, I kind of him. 288 00:39:57,080 --> 00:40:02,280 It's insane. So my while you're looking at that, I would say my final four will be 289 00:40:02,280 --> 00:40:07,720 O'Cotta Fletcher to Keshe and Mox. That's my final four that I would go with. Yeah. Blue league 290 00:40:07,720 --> 00:40:16,920 had to go to Keshe, Moxley as well. Gold league, O'Cotta. You know, I'd love to see Pock in there. 291 00:40:16,920 --> 00:40:23,080 If they do, but then they might do two against two. Well, see no because you kind of, 292 00:40:23,080 --> 00:40:27,240 if you're going to do that, I would want because Pock feels like a whole different energy. But he's 293 00:40:27,240 --> 00:40:32,680 always super intense. I do feel like if they do make a change in the death rise, it'd be Pock coming 294 00:40:32,680 --> 00:40:36,600 out as the leader of the group. Just because he's he seems to be better. He's still better on the 295 00:40:36,600 --> 00:40:42,360 micro from the Claudio. But then how do you get that breakup if you're doing one verse? Because 296 00:40:42,360 --> 00:40:47,480 that would have Mox winning the blue league. And then to catch the finishing second. And if you do 297 00:40:47,480 --> 00:40:54,200 one versus two, then you get O'Cotta to Keshe and the semi-finals. So it's interesting. That 298 00:40:54,200 --> 00:41:01,320 was my math on it, where if like Mox finished his second, the blue league, then you could have O'Cotta 299 00:41:01,320 --> 00:41:08,680 and Mox and then to Keshe and Fletcher and the semi-finals. And then O'Cotta and to Keshe and the 300 00:41:08,680 --> 00:41:15,720 finals. Yeah. Yeah. They get has to get to Keshe, to Keshe, O'Cotta and the finals. So I think you do 301 00:41:15,720 --> 00:41:23,320 to Keshe versus Fletcher semi. O'Cotta Moxley, that'd be banger. And then O'Cotta, especially if you 302 00:41:23,320 --> 00:41:29,880 have O'Cotta beat Moxley in the first match in semi-finals. And then to Keshe to Beats Fletcher, 303 00:41:29,880 --> 00:41:34,760 then you could have O'Cotta jump to Keshe to afterwards leading to Keshe's baby face turn, 304 00:41:34,760 --> 00:41:41,720 at the finals. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They'd be cool. So yeah, really looking forward to it. 305 00:41:41,720 --> 00:41:47,240 Kicks off by the timing list in the show, depending on when you get it, it'll kick off on Thanksgiving Eve 306 00:41:47,240 --> 00:41:53,480 on Dynamite. Wikipedia saying that it's the finals for the AWA Continental Championship. So we need 307 00:41:53,480 --> 00:41:58,760 clarity, Tony. And we need it now because this is very confusing because I'm with you. Then it's like 308 00:41:58,760 --> 00:42:04,120 great. So now we have another championship. So the unified championship is no more and Continental 309 00:42:04,120 --> 00:42:11,000 International are back great. That's what we need. Another title. And then is it Continental North 310 00:42:11,000 --> 00:42:19,080 America, but the national title is just America? You know, it's funny. You bring this up because you 311 00:42:19,080 --> 00:42:23,880 said earlier in the show that they put the world champion, they put the world championship on one of 312 00:42:23,880 --> 00:42:28,680 their trios champions. And I was like, I totally forgot about that. Yeah. I literally said to myself, 313 00:42:28,680 --> 00:42:34,760 I was like, fuck, I forgot about that. I forgot about it until I saw the Hangman Shabbata match. And 314 00:42:34,760 --> 00:42:39,160 I was like, wait, what belt is Shabbata have? Because a Joe had a belt. Oh, wait, wait, does everybody, 315 00:42:39,160 --> 00:42:45,320 like you get a belt? You get a belt. It also like you're walking into like wrestle cater, 316 00:42:45,320 --> 00:42:50,680 something and everybody's walking around the belt. It's like, wait, so it's almost like Oprah, Oprah 317 00:42:50,680 --> 00:42:55,640 showed up at AWA. You get a belt. You get a belt. You get a belt. You get a belt. Roderick, 318 00:42:55,640 --> 00:43:00,520 no, you had it for five minutes. Forget it. You don't get a belt. So there you go. Stay tuned 319 00:43:00,520 --> 00:43:06,680 more Continental Classic all taking place in AWA. This Saturday on ESPN, Dr. Trey will be WWE 320 00:43:06,680 --> 00:43:12,520 Survivor Series War Games from Petco Park in San Diego, California. Let's get into a Dr. Trey. 321 00:43:12,520 --> 00:43:17,000 Our preview and predictions. Let's start with the first match here. Stephanie Valkyrie Defends. 322 00:43:17,000 --> 00:43:21,480 The women's world championship against Nikki Bella, Dr. Trey. Who do you like in this one? 323 00:43:21,480 --> 00:43:26,920 I mean, I like everybody because they're both very pretty. But oh, you mean to win the match? Sorry. 324 00:43:26,920 --> 00:43:31,160 Yeah, the match. Sorry. Sorry. I'm going to go with Stephanie. Just I'm going to go Stephanie 325 00:43:31,160 --> 00:43:37,080 to kind of pad the resume that she has a win over a WWE Hall of Famer. So I'll go with Stephanie in 326 00:43:37,080 --> 00:43:42,920 this one. I'm going to take Nikki Bella. I think Bri Bella gets involved in Helps her because I think 327 00:43:42,920 --> 00:43:48,440 you do this heel turn. And if she goes into this match and loses, then it's like, why did you do the 328 00:43:48,440 --> 00:43:52,360 heel turn? Like what's next for her? Is there a follow up? Is it going to be? It's not going to be 329 00:43:52,360 --> 00:43:57,240 at Saturday Night's Main Event because those are WWE versus NXT matches. So then when's the next 330 00:43:57,240 --> 00:44:02,680 round? Is it going to be on Raw? Like I feel like they got to do something when Nikki Bella now being 331 00:44:02,680 --> 00:44:07,720 that she's turned heel. So I'm taking Nikki. Dr. Trey's taking Stephanie Valkyrie. Next match, 332 00:44:07,720 --> 00:44:13,480 here's John Cena defending the Intercontinental Championship against Dominic Mysterio. Dr. Trey, 333 00:44:13,480 --> 00:44:16,680 I'm going to go with the hometown boy. I am taking Dominic Mysterio on this one. 334 00:44:16,680 --> 00:44:22,120 Are you taking Dom with the help of the entire judgment? It kind of feels like you may need 335 00:44:22,120 --> 00:44:27,960 everybody in this one. Yeah, it's weird because you kind of want Cena heading into his last match on 336 00:44:27,960 --> 00:44:33,400 an upswing, but I don't think you make this title run this title turn unless you're going to put the 337 00:44:33,400 --> 00:44:40,120 belt back on Dom. So I'm with you. I'm taking Dom with, I guess the, maybe this is John's way of 338 00:44:40,120 --> 00:44:43,480 paying back a ray for only letting him have like an hour and a half world title run. 339 00:44:43,480 --> 00:44:49,160 >>Exactly. And I think John wants to put over Dominic Mysterio because he hears so much like 340 00:44:49,160 --> 00:44:53,480 glowing reviews over Dominic Mysterio that John Cena's been having during all these interviews, 341 00:44:53,480 --> 00:44:58,840 leading up to his retirement. Now it's the women's war game match. You got rear-ripply EOS guy, 342 00:44:58,840 --> 00:45:03,960 Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee taking on NIJAC's last legend, Oscar, Kyrie Sain, and Becky 343 00:45:03,960 --> 00:45:09,160 Lynch. Dr. Trey, who do you like in this one? >>I'm taking the baby face girls. I'm taking 344 00:45:09,160 --> 00:45:17,880 Rhea, EO, Alexa, Charlotte, and AJ because no offense, they just look like a stronger team than the 345 00:45:17,880 --> 00:45:24,440 EO team. And maybe in that regard, the EO team should get the win, but like, I mean, Oscar and Kyrie, 346 00:45:24,440 --> 00:45:30,520 I don't think anybody puts them on the same level as the other five of the other women in the match 347 00:45:30,520 --> 00:45:37,880 and they're the top two people. Becky's the only one on the level in people's minds of Rhea, EO, 348 00:45:37,880 --> 00:45:42,840 Alexa, Charlotte, and AJ Lee. And so I just feel like it's a little one-sided. So I'm going to take the 349 00:45:42,840 --> 00:45:47,000 the baby face girls getting the win at war games. >>Yeah, I agree with you. I think if there's a baby 350 00:45:47,000 --> 00:45:51,480 face team that's going to win at women in the war games, I think the easiest choice is rear-ripply EOS 351 00:45:51,480 --> 00:45:55,560 guy, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte, Flair, and AJ Lee. So I liked Dr. Trey. I am taking the baby faces 352 00:45:55,560 --> 00:46:01,240 to win this match. And then that takes us to the men's war game match, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, J.U. So, 353 00:46:01,240 --> 00:46:05,880 Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns taking on Braun Breaker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McAttire, 354 00:46:05,880 --> 00:46:11,640 and Brock Lesnar sidebar. If we're confused about the continental classic or the continental championship, 355 00:46:11,640 --> 00:46:15,560 Dr. Trey, I'm confused whether or not Logan Paul is part of the vision because he's announced 356 00:46:15,560 --> 00:46:20,840 that the vision. Then he's like friends with the vision. So I'm confused by that, but I digress. 357 00:46:20,840 --> 00:46:26,680 I'm going to take the heels. I'm taking Braun, Bronson, Logan, Drew, and Brock Lesnar because the 358 00:46:26,680 --> 00:46:31,960 way I look at it is I think there's one person that could take the L on this match. And unfortunately, 359 00:46:31,960 --> 00:46:37,800 that is Jimmy Uso, the same person who took the L on Monday's Raw. I don't know who takes a loss 360 00:46:37,800 --> 00:46:44,360 on the heel side. And I think it makes more sense for the heels to win than the baby faces because 361 00:46:44,360 --> 00:46:48,520 there's more storylines that could come out of that that are more entertaining and more intriguing 362 00:46:48,520 --> 00:46:53,080 to close out 2025. So I'm taking the heels. Braun Breaker, Bronson, Reed, Logan, 363 00:46:53,080 --> 00:46:59,400 Baldr, McAttire, and Brock Lesnar, Dr. Trey. So sidebar, I meant to ask you on the last match, 364 00:46:59,400 --> 00:47:03,960 is the re-a-team the most star-studded female team in Survivor Series history? 365 00:47:03,960 --> 00:47:08,920 We've mentioned about the guys. Yeah, I think it is when you look at it now. 366 00:47:08,920 --> 00:47:13,160 Yeah, I just, I was like, I always stare to the names. I'm like, that's pretty loaded. 367 00:47:13,160 --> 00:47:18,520 Yeah, that's why I was like, there's like really maybe a Lexus, the only one that could really take a 368 00:47:18,520 --> 00:47:24,040 loss. Maybe EO, but on the other side, you could pin four of the five and nobody would bet a night. 369 00:47:24,040 --> 00:47:32,600 So, but the men's match, I'm with you. I'm taking the vision plus Drew, or I mean, Brock's 370 00:47:32,600 --> 00:47:38,360 affiliated with Paul Heyman. I mean, he's holding his hat in his vest. I mean, and coming out with him 371 00:47:38,360 --> 00:47:46,040 at the end of the show. So, I mean, maybe it's the vision plus like an older hunkel that helps him. 372 00:47:46,040 --> 00:47:50,760 I don't know how you break that down, but yeah, to me, like the vision need this win because 373 00:47:50,760 --> 00:47:55,960 you lost Seth. You don't really have a leader, but this gives you guys credibility. 374 00:47:55,960 --> 00:48:01,400 And unfortunately, like you're right, Jimmy's probably the most logical choice to take the loss, but 375 00:48:01,400 --> 00:48:06,280 I think the interesting one would be if Jay took the loss because we had all that rumbling about 376 00:48:06,280 --> 00:48:11,960 a month and a half ago when we thought he might turn heel. You know, do we see Roman berating him 377 00:48:11,960 --> 00:48:18,280 if he loses in this match as Survivor Series? So, I'm taking the heels because I think the dynamics 378 00:48:18,280 --> 00:48:23,960 coming out and like you said are way more interesting if they win than if Roman Cody and punk win. 379 00:48:23,960 --> 00:48:28,280 Absolutely. I think that there's just more to play with. They could carry storylines for the rest of 380 00:48:28,280 --> 00:48:34,040 2025 and then into 2026 because this is this is kind of like one of those unofficial starts to 381 00:48:34,040 --> 00:48:38,280 WrestleMania season. I think this is where you start to see some seeds planted and lead to some 382 00:48:38,280 --> 00:48:42,920 intrigue and we saw that last year with punk being on the bloodline team and with that lead to 383 00:48:42,920 --> 00:48:49,080 WrestleMania. And I think you see it this Saturday as well. So, so our series War Games this Saturday 384 00:48:49,080 --> 00:48:53,960 from Petco Park in San Diego, California. Really looking to that one forward to that one and it's 385 00:48:53,960 --> 00:48:59,000 unfortunate. Rey Mysterio doesn't get a match in this. I don't know how that happened. None of 386 00:48:59,000 --> 00:49:03,240 the last Star Trek before we close up shop on this week's edition of SRTU like IT's on last week's 387 00:49:03,240 --> 00:49:09,640 edition of the show. The holiday schedule has been released. It starts on December 18th. Episode 388 00:49:09,640 --> 00:49:15,960 number 827. We will have our 2025 Wrestling recap special. We will also recap Saturday nights 389 00:49:15,960 --> 00:49:22,760 main event. John Cena's final match on that episode episode number 828 for December 25th on Christmas 390 00:49:22,760 --> 00:49:29,160 Day will be our 2025 SRTU Awards so special. And then we kick off 2026 on January the first 391 00:49:29,160 --> 00:49:36,600 for episode 829 with our 2026 Wrestling preview specials. So mind boggling that here we are again 392 00:49:36,600 --> 00:49:41,240 with another holiday programming coming your way. But then again here we are in the midst 393 00:49:41,240 --> 00:49:47,400 towards the end now of our Thanksgiving show that we do each and every year.
