- 3:25Speaker 1: middle seventies later on today, first day of fall, plenty
- 3:31Speaker 1: of sunshine. Love that it's good news that we're gonna
- 3:35Speaker 1: have a rainy week. It is fantastic news. Actually clouds Tonight,

- 3:45Speaker 1: off showers around seventy. Wednesday the same story, and Thursday
- 3:51Speaker 1: that's when a little bit of a cooler cool front
- 3:55Speaker 1: pushes in. Rain. Gonna be steady by the afternoon, lower
- 3:59Speaker 1: seat sixties on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Way ahead. I know,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I'm kind of glancing in the crystal ball this morning,
- 4:08Speaker 1: but the weekend at this point Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- 4:11Speaker 1: looked pretty good with sunshine and seventies. It is Monday,
- 4:15Speaker 1: September twenty second, thirty nine days to Halloween. And speaking
- 4:22Speaker 1: of Halloween, if you love Halloween and you love scary movies,
- 4:27Speaker 1: A cable and internet site called cable tv. I'll give
- 4:34Speaker 1: you the link is looking to pay someone to watch, rank,
- 4:38Speaker 1: and review horror movies. They're calling it a thrill turn
- 4:43Speaker 1: hip and it pays out pretty well. Six hundred and
- 4:49Speaker 1: sixty six bucks. I'm not kidding. Plus you get a

- 5:18Speaker 1: here's the thirteen on their list, Nightmare on Elm Street,
- 5:22Speaker 1: Candy Man, The Evil Dead, The Exorcist, Get Out, Halloween,
- 5:28Speaker 1: It Martyrs, The Shining Strangers, Texas, Chainsaw Massacre. I can
- 5:36Speaker 1: never get through that one. It's the one movie I
- 5:39Speaker 1: just I can't do it. And the thing. So there
- 5:43Speaker 1: you go. You want I'll put the link up if
- 5:45Speaker 1: you want to get in involved with this, get your
- 5:49Speaker 1: six hundred and sixty six bucks. Today's National ice Cream Day.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Today ice Cream Cone Day, I should say also National
- 5:58Speaker 1: White Chocolate Day. But I want to ask you harder
- 6:03Speaker 1: soft and I was asking you this morning, dish or
- 6:06Speaker 1: cone new pull out. Sixty five hundred American adults said
- 6:12Speaker 1: they like their ice cream served in a cone sixty
- 6:20Speaker 1: five hundred. Thirty two percent say a waffle cone. I'm
- 6:23Speaker 1: part of that thirty two percent, sixteen percent want the
- 6:27Speaker 1: sugar cone. Love the waffle cone, thirty three percent passing
- 6:32Speaker 1: the cones altogether and go for the cup, which is
- 6:35Speaker 1: kind of boring, less messy, yes, but a little boring.
- 6:40Speaker 1: And two percent wants something else. And I don't know
- 6:45Speaker 1: exactly what that is. Maybe they just want to devour
- 6:49Speaker 1: their ice cream directly out of the carton, like Lily.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I don't know. Birthdays today, Rachel Chapin, Travis Payette on
- 6:57Speaker 1: the list today, Beth wats were Brian Kirkpatrick, Sam Bresett,
- 7:04Speaker 1: Tommy Waltz, Rich Christiansen, Amy Chamberlain, Rob Williams, and Alison Fennel.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Happy birthday to all of you. It was a great
- 7:14Speaker 1: weekend for me. I hope it was for you. A
- 7:16Speaker 1: little tired, a little sore, but that's usually the case
- 7:21Speaker 1: on a Monday. What fishing, deep sea fishing with some
- 7:27Speaker 1: amazing people, made some new friends. Brad and Kyle and
- 7:34Speaker 1: Dwayne and I all went out on a fishing charter
- 7:38Speaker 1: off the coast in New Hampshire and it was an
- 7:44Speaker 1: incredible experience, the whole thing, at least for me. It
- 7:48Speaker 1: was Dwayne not so much. At the end of the day,
- 7:59Speaker 1: as he was exiting the boat and walking up the plank,
- 8:08Speaker 1: he said something like, jad, that's the last goddamn time
- 8:13Speaker 1: I'm getting out a fishing boat. But it was. It
- 8:21Speaker 1: was incredible, blue sky, huge waves. There was some eight
- 8:28Speaker 1: foot rollers out there at one point for like a
- 8:31Speaker 1: good hour. And I remember I remember my mom saying
- 8:39Speaker 1: to me when we were out on a boat a
- 8:43Speaker 1: long time ago, breathe through the nose, honey, and just
- 8:48Speaker 1: look at the horizon. You'll be fine. Exactly what I did,
- 8:54Speaker 1: and I was fine. Fish caught a haddock in a cusk,
- 9:04Speaker 1: and I was thrilled. I was just thrilled. There were
- 9:10Speaker 1: people on the boat that didn't get anything, caught nothing.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I was just also caught quite a few dogfish. Man,
- 9:23Speaker 1: those things can get mean with that thing on that spine.
- 9:28Speaker 1: But it was, it was just it was amazing. Shoulders
- 9:34Speaker 1: a little sore, wrisked, a little sore. The guy next
- 9:38Speaker 1: to me had one of these you know electric rods
- 9:42Speaker 1: there that pulls it in. Meanwhile I'm sitting there, but
- 9:50Speaker 1: it was it was just great. It was great. We're
- 9:53Speaker 1: out there all day. Got on the boat at six,
- 9:57Speaker 1: off the dock at seven, came back around. I think
- 10:00Speaker 1: it was like four, maybe four thirty something like that.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Just awesome. Too many people on the boat. So next
- 10:11Speaker 1: one probably less people, smaller boat. Maybe I'll get sick
- 10:17Speaker 1: on that one. If it's a smaller boat with less people,
- 10:19Speaker 1: I don't know. But man, I'm just pardon the pun man,
- 10:24Speaker 1: but I am just hooked. I am all worked up
- 10:27Speaker 1: on fishing now, really am. It was just incredible. Red
- 10:34Speaker 1: Sox fell to the Ray seven to three Blue Jays tomorrow.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Checking sports here this morning. Yankees crushed the Orioles seven
- 10:42Speaker 1: to one White Sox tomorrow. But it's Jacob Young that
- 10:48Speaker 1: everybody is talking about, well, at least baseball fans anyway,
- 10:52Speaker 1: Jacob Young who steals the highlight reels this morning. And
- 11:00Speaker 1: I think I've got it. This was unbelievable off the
- 11:08Speaker 1: foot catch. See if I can show you did you
- 11:12Speaker 1: see this yesterday? Start getting Mitchell Parkner warmed up out
- 11:17Speaker 1: o pet some tip to this one. Jacob Young, Hey,
- 11:22Speaker 1: he got it on the fly. He caught it. The
- 11:26Speaker 1: umpires have already called him out the hitter. That is
- 11:30Speaker 1: a lot of credit to Brennan Miller's foot. Was that
- 11:34Speaker 1: pars rotating beautifully on that?
- 11:39Speaker 2: That was his knee and the crowd just saw it.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Oh my god, and they've called the hitter out here.
- 11:47Speaker 1: They're thinking of off his knees, but it wasn't. It
- 11:52Speaker 1: was actually his foot.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Oh my.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Right there, let's go unbelievable off the foot. I don't
- 12:06Speaker 1: know if that's ever been done before. Unreal. How about football,
- 12:15Speaker 1: Tory Horton, did you watch football yesterday? Did you see
- 12:23Speaker 1: this happen? Left Booms one down the field, good punt
- 12:30Speaker 1: driving Horton all the way back to a six yard line. Horton,
- 12:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna return at the twenty, right up the middle
- 12:37Speaker 1: to the thirty. How hardened to the outside?
- 12:39Speaker 3: Tory Harden down the side and it's a touchdown ninety five.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Yards to the house. And look at the key blocks
- 12:57Speaker 1: one there knocking down him doing a US with his legs.
- 13:01Speaker 1: And then don't not a kicker block either.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Frank goals and makes the last.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Those are the place that you hope you're gonna see.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Absolutely incredible. And it was Logan Loose who was telling
- 13:21Speaker 1: me that he was a fifth round pick. Tory Horton,
- 13:27Speaker 1: Logan Loose, by the way, has more Good Morning JD.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Last night we saw a lot of hands flying, a
- 13:35Speaker 3: lot of intensity. Some games to talk about is the
- 13:38Speaker 3: Seahawks and the Saints. Seahawks beat the Saints from forty
- 13:41Speaker 3: four to thirteen. Bears beat the Cowboys thirty one to fourteen.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Another game to point out is the Packers in Browns games.
- 13:50Speaker 3: With the Browns coming back in the last four minutes,
- 13:54Speaker 3: Packers defense really fell flat in the last four minutes.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Steelers and Patriots. I mean that was honest, a good
- 14:00Speaker 3: game all around. You know, Patriots did amazing, They looked good.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Just you know, if they can minimize the fumbling and
- 14:06Speaker 3: the interceptions, definitely would have helped them in this game
- 14:08Speaker 3: for sure. Panthers and Falcons. Panthers solo the Falcons thirty
- 14:12Speaker 3: to nothing. Commanders rock the Raiders forty one to twenty four.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Colts and Titans. Daniel Jones still continuing that hot streak
- 14:22Speaker 3: forty one to twenty. Bengals and Vikings. Vikings destroy the
- 14:27Speaker 3: Bengals forty to ten. Saw some great plays. Cannot wait
- 14:32Speaker 3: to see what we see tonight against the Lions and
- 14:36Speaker 3: the Ravens. Thank you again, JD, and have a good morning.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Yeah, Logan's on Saturday mornings ten o'clock right here where
- 14:44Speaker 1: we are now his new athletics podcast, which we're so
- 14:49Speaker 1: proud of and happy for Logan to be doing that.
- 14:53Speaker 1: But yeah, Sunday football was amazing. Monday Night football tonight,
- 14:57Speaker 1: and of course we'll have a recap that tomorrow morning.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Daily dose of feel good this morning. And you know,
- 15:10Speaker 1: I try, and I love to bring you the good news.
- 15:15Speaker 1: And I know there's a whole heap of either bad
- 15:18Speaker 1: or sad news that's always in front of us constantly,
- 15:25Speaker 1: but especially on Mondays. I love to just kind of
- 15:32Speaker 1: change it up a little bit and give you something
- 15:35Speaker 1: good to think about, something that will fill your heart.
- 15:41Speaker 1: And it's got to be this guy, Chase Harris. He
- 15:50Speaker 1: is a dad who just posted a very touching video
- 15:56Speaker 1: on TikTok. I want you to, I want you to,
- 15:59Speaker 1: I want you to just absorb this. Watch this. I'm
- 16:02Speaker 1: gonna show you in a second.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Here.
- 16:07Speaker 1: He has a son with spina bifida who uses a walker,
- 16:14Speaker 1: and he is encouraging his son, who's just seven years old,
- 16:19Speaker 1: by the way, to step off of a curb. And
- 16:23Speaker 1: when I saw this video, it just struck me, It
- 16:29Speaker 1: really did, he says. Chase Harris, the dad, by the way, says,
- 16:34Speaker 1: we use this curb as a metaphor of us conquering
- 16:38Speaker 1: an obstacle that could typically hold us back forever. It's
- 16:45Speaker 1: basically a mountain that either we're going to get over
- 16:50Speaker 1: or we're going to fall down. Watch this video and
- 16:57Speaker 1: hopefully I'll have the audio as part of it. I
- 17:00Speaker 1: believe it's it's here, But check this out. Man, this
- 17:04Speaker 1: is definitely the daily doesn't feel good. It's got to
- 17:08Speaker 1: be right here.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Don't let your feet get caught behind it. You gotta
- 17:11Speaker 4: keep your feet in front. Come on, you got.
- 17:15Speaker 2: It, trust yourself. We've been there before.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Just as soon as in front, wheels hit, pick yourself up,
- 17:25Speaker 4: let them feet hit. We don't carry Mosses don't exist.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Come on from where you think. The harder it get,
- 17:38Speaker 2: let's go.
- 17:44Speaker 4: I mean you don't got to pick up, just let
- 17:45Speaker 4: it come down there, you go, pick your feet up,
- 17:49Speaker 4: go with it.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 17:50Speaker 4: See yep, get back right step step step step step step.
- 17:58Speaker 2: There you go, keep yourself square and there, don't be
- 18:02Speaker 2: falling over.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Come on, alright, let's go, come on, feet forward, feet forward,
- 18:18Speaker 4: there you go, Come on.
- 18:21Speaker 2: And what we think the harder it get you, go
- 18:24Speaker 2: for it.
- 18:25Speaker 4: I got you right here. Don't let it throw you
- 18:28Speaker 4: that way. You gotta control it. Nope, feet square, go
- 18:34Speaker 4: down and then fix your feet. Step forward to the
- 18:37Speaker 4: end of the curve. M go off, go off, feet
- 18:46Speaker 4: be ready to step step step step There you go.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Nice work. Show me that you can turn it to
- 18:55Speaker 4: the left when you get it down there. There you go,
- 18:58Speaker 4: step it forward in a while. Yes, keep going that way.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Good work, baby, as a real bosses do mate, big dog,
- 19:11Speaker 4: not the little one.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Feel me all right as we'll get some water.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Wow. I absolutely love stuff like this, and I love
- 19:24Speaker 1: it when you send me stuff like this and say,
- 19:30Speaker 1: jad you got to feature this as your daily does
- 19:33Speaker 1: and feel good. Unbelievable. Take that with you today. Don't
- 19:39Speaker 1: forget that video right there. No matter what it is
- 19:42Speaker 1: that you're going through, whatever kind of hardship that you're experiencing,
- 19:48Speaker 1: think of that little boy. Unreal and I know it's
- 19:52Speaker 1: gone viral. But just because something's gone viral doesn't mean
- 19:57Speaker 1: that we've all seen it, right, And even though it
- 20:02Speaker 1: was viral, I wasn't aware of it. But I want
- 20:06Speaker 1: to thank you and you know who you are for
- 20:10Speaker 1: sending that over to me and featuring it this morning
- 20:13Speaker 1: on aired out. Just had to do it, unreal Facebook
- 20:17Speaker 1: question of the Day. I want to ask you. This
- 20:19Speaker 1: should the dates on the calendar showing the starts and
- 20:26Speaker 1: the ends of the season's change. And I know every
- 20:36Speaker 1: year when I talk about daylight saving time twice a year,
- 20:42Speaker 1: people complain about that. And I know that the seasons
- 20:48Speaker 1: are based on the equinox and the solstice. Today is
- 20:54Speaker 1: the first day of fall, as I said earlier, But
- 20:56Speaker 1: it is, it is, and it has been fall in
- 21:04Speaker 1: my opinion anyway, and maybe yours, I don't know for
- 21:07Speaker 1: quite a while. I think Labor Day weekend for me
- 21:14Speaker 1: is that that's when it's it's fall. And you saw
- 21:19Speaker 1: me fighting against fall with g Heroes on the air,
- 21:23Speaker 1: and I was just trying to hang on to summer
- 21:26Speaker 1: as long as I as I could. But there's a
- 21:32Speaker 1: story that's that's going viral online where this guy is
- 21:36Speaker 1: claiming that fall started weeks ago, and he's proposing that
- 21:42Speaker 1: we redate all four seasons. First of all, when I
- 21:46Speaker 1: heard about this, I was like, Ah, finally something refreshing
- 21:50Speaker 1: and new in the news that we can discuss and
- 21:54Speaker 1: think about talking about instead of all the other that
- 22:01Speaker 1: it's dominating our analytics. He says this guy that spring
- 22:10Speaker 1: should start as soon as daylight saving sticks in next year.
- 22:13Speaker 1: It's gonna be March eighth, which is still very much
- 22:20Speaker 1: winter here in Vermont, but also says that summer starts
- 22:25Speaker 1: around June first and stops on August thirty first. Yeah, well,
- 22:31Speaker 1: we can make September first the beginning of fall. I mean,
- 22:34Speaker 1: there's there's I know, I know, there's no rhyme or
- 22:39Speaker 1: reason to any of this stuff. He says, once September
- 22:44Speaker 1: hits its fall, even if it's ninety five degrees. And
- 22:53Speaker 1: I think New Englanders would say, once the leaves are falling,
- 22:58Speaker 1: once the en Fell is on your TV and your
- 23:02Speaker 1: kids are back in school, it's fall. The whole thing.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Waiting until September twenty second is just wrong. He says
- 23:20Speaker 1: winter should begin on Black Friday. It's already bleak outside.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Bing Crosby is playing on the radio. You're setting up
- 23:26Speaker 1: your Christmas tree. Fall doesn't end on December twenty second.
- 23:33Speaker 1: It ends on Thanksgiving unless you live somewhere in like
- 23:41Speaker 1: Santa Barbara, where you don't have seasons seventy degrees year round.
- 23:49Speaker 1: What a season's look like? I love, yes, fan scene,
- 23:58Speaker 1: the Indian summer. The fact that we can get out
- 24:05Speaker 1: and ride our motorcycles in the foliage and just take
- 24:10Speaker 1: it all in. I love that we can. I'm wearing
- 24:12Speaker 1: shorts right now. I love that we can wear shorts
- 24:17Speaker 1: for a little while longer. I love that we can
- 24:20Speaker 1: go out on a fishing boat in the middle of
- 24:23Speaker 1: the Atlantic and take off the layers and just wear
- 24:30Speaker 1: a T shirt for a couple of hours. Love it,
- 24:36Speaker 1: Love it? Yeah, But I want to know what you
- 24:41Speaker 1: think about all this. Should we be waiting until September
- 24:48Speaker 1: twenty second to call it fall? I mean, my god,
- 24:52Speaker 1: the pretty soon? I mean, what are we in peak
- 24:56Speaker 1: foliage now? Pretty much? Pretty soon? The leave's going to
- 24:59Speaker 1: be off the tree. It's gonna be stick seasons soon?
- 25:02Speaker 1: Then will it be fall? Nothing's fallen anyway. Community Calendar
- 25:07Speaker 1: This morning brought to you by the World. We've got
