- 0:13Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Tuesday. It's TLC Tuesday.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm here with Kimberly. Kimberly, every time I see you,
- 0:20Speaker 1: there's more and more things behind you. Just week by week,
- 0:23Speaker 1: you're adding things to your little office space there.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I know. Well, it has to be cluttered like my personality.
- 0:31Speaker 2: So oh okay, okay, So I see you have a
- 0:34Speaker 2: Pride flag.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I see you.
- 0:36Speaker 2: That's a diamond painting. Actually really yes, it says everyone
- 0:40Speaker 2: is welcome here. And then I have a Keith Morrison
- 0:45Speaker 2: prayer candle because we recorded yesterday for our Dayline episode
- 0:50Speaker 2: and it was a Keith and I have all of
- 0:52Speaker 2: their candles now. Katie gave them to me back she
- 0:55Speaker 2: had had them for a long time. Now I can
- 0:57Speaker 2: switch out. We just don't have a blamed one. I'm
- 1:00Speaker 2: gonna have to make a Blamee one. She's our new host.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Are you calling Blaine's fans the Blaineyax?
- 1:07Speaker 2: We are the blaney X. But we haven't decided what
- 1:10Speaker 2: her nickname is. They've run so many suggestions, like over
- 1:14Speaker 2: one hundred suggestions, no joke, So we're going to do
- 1:18Speaker 2: a poll or something.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, wow, some of.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Them are just bad. I hate to say it, like,
- 1:24Speaker 2: I think our listeners are amazing and so funny, and
- 1:26Speaker 2: some of them are just like That's what.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I saw some that were pretty bad. So I was
- 1:32Speaker 1: wondering if you've nerd narrowed it down. That's why I
- 1:34Speaker 1: was asking, if you've narrowed it down to some that
- 1:36Speaker 1: were good, because all the ones us all were.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Ter Do you think I should filter the poll like
- 1:42Speaker 2: take out Oh okay, get just let the people decide
- 1:46Speaker 2: and quit in the bad ones.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I think if you have a poll going and you've
- 1:51Speaker 1: got like five front runners and then like fifteen that
- 1:55Speaker 1: have one or zero votes, then yes, it goes off.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and then and then tell people to revote,
- 2:01Speaker 1: you know, just like a real election.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Okay, Well we are not here to talk about that.
- 2:09Speaker 1: We're here to talk about ninety day. But what I
- 2:11Speaker 1: really want to let everybody know is that next week
- 2:14Speaker 1: will be the new schedule. Monday will be Kimberly and
- 2:18Speaker 1: I will be on Monday talking about ninety day Fiance
- 2:22Speaker 1: because on Tuesdays you're going to get Keisha and I
- 2:26Speaker 1: talking about the Virgins. We can't do the Virgins on
- 2:30Speaker 1: Monday because it comes on Monday night, So your episode
- 2:33Speaker 1: will come out Tuesday morning for the Virgins, and we
- 2:35Speaker 1: will already have ninety day Fiance because it comes out
- 2:38Speaker 1: Sunday and our episode will come out Monday. So that's
- 2:41Speaker 1: what is going to be happening starting next week. You
- 2:44Speaker 1: can follow all this information on Instagram, Pink shape pod,
- 2:48Speaker 1: or you could click the link in your show notes
- 2:49Speaker 1: and subscribe to our newsletter. We don't spam you, we
- 2:52Speaker 1: don't send you anything. We literally just send you the newsletter.
- 2:54Speaker 1: If that tells you what is going on.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Every weod newsletter, it's a street point straight up.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yeah. So if you don't know, or if you just
- 3:03Speaker 1: have a question and you're confused, then please DM me.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I've gotten so many dms about my episode that I
- 3:09Speaker 1: put out on Monday with Keisha, which was about the
- 3:13Speaker 1: Sherry Peppini documentary. So Keisha and I covered all four
- 3:17Speaker 1: parts in one episode. The Sherry Peppini documentary could have
- 3:21Speaker 1: been two parts, it was four. So many people have
- 3:25Speaker 1: reached out to tell me whack swack too. People reached
- 3:31Speaker 1: out to let me know that Amy Archer, you know,
- 3:34Speaker 1: had done a recap. She did one last week or
- 3:37Speaker 1: so and they're like, oh, she had this inside information
- 3:39Speaker 1: about this guy that Sherry was dating. And I was like,
- 3:42Speaker 1: I knew all that as well, but I didn't talk
- 3:46Speaker 1: about it because my understanding was she and that guy
- 3:48Speaker 1: had broken up, but maybe not, and maybe he killed
- 3:51Speaker 1: his wife after he started hanging out with Sherry. It's
- 3:54Speaker 1: all legend. We don't know, but you guys, on Friday,
- 3:57Speaker 1: when I talked to Amy a little mis recap, I
- 3:59Speaker 1: will get her to tell me what she knows and
- 4:01Speaker 1: then we will compare our Sherry Peppini. No, it's funny.
- 4:06Speaker 1: When I sat down with Keisha to do it. So,
- 4:07Speaker 1: I had watched the Hulu doc a while back, right,
- 4:11Speaker 1: but I hadn't watched it recently, So I just and
- 4:13Speaker 1: I didn't listen to any recaps or anybody's opinions. I
- 4:16Speaker 1: wanted to just go in with my own thoughts. When
- 4:19Speaker 1: I started watching it, I was like, Wow, this is
- 4:22Speaker 1: that everybody had it all wrong. This guy really did
- 4:25Speaker 1: this to her, Like wow, man, oh man. By the
- 4:27Speaker 1: time I got to that fourth episode, and her parents, therapist,
- 4:33Speaker 1: and her sister in law were all like, yeah, I mean,
- 4:36Speaker 1: she definitely went with that guy willingly. But three people
- 4:41Speaker 1: of the whole base, literally counteracting everything they said. They're like, yeah, like,
- 4:46Speaker 1: she definitely wasn't kidnapped, and now what happened after that, we
- 4:50Speaker 1: don't know, but she definitely got in the car with them.
- 4:53Speaker 1: She was not kidnapped. So yeah, so then after that,
- 4:58Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, now I'm changing to
- 5:00Speaker 1: my mind. I do think she was the mastermind of
- 5:03Speaker 1: the whole thing.
- 5:04Speaker 2: It's very much like that with the chiropractor that was murdered,
- 5:10Speaker 2: and we did several episodes on it, and people are
- 5:13Speaker 2: so freaking divided and they're just going based on her demeanor,
- 5:18Speaker 2: kind of like do I buy her? Do I not
- 5:21Speaker 2: buy her?
- 5:23Speaker 1: That was that young girl that in the guy and
- 5:26Speaker 1: the wife was killed by poison? Right?
- 5:29Speaker 2: Mary Yoder was the Mary Yoder.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I still don't know who did. I still feel like
- 5:33Speaker 1: the Sun did it.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I still feel like the Sun is involved for sure.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yeah he's a bag of waiyers for sure.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Yeah he is bagawayeners, you guys. I told somebody that
- 5:45Speaker 1: the other day. I think I was Keisha. I said,
- 5:47Speaker 1: that's what Kimberly calls somebody. Instead of calling him a dick,
- 5:50Speaker 1: she calls me.
- 5:53Speaker 2: And now it's just boo, he's a bow.
- 5:55Speaker 1: He's a bow. Listen, you know you're you're creating your
- 5:58Speaker 1: own vernacular there at day with Dayline. I love it.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I don't think I watched Dateline this weekend at all.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I wonder what. Oh I went out this weekend twice? What? What?
- 6:07Speaker 1: Good for you?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Girl?
- 6:09Speaker 1: That's it. I'm done for the year. Yeah. I went
- 6:13Speaker 1: to a party, A dance to my face off at
- 6:15Speaker 1: this party, and boy did I pay for it the
- 6:16Speaker 1: next day. My feed her, my backgrounds, My legs were
- 6:19Speaker 1: killing me. So news schedule, news schedule, who does next week?
- 6:24Speaker 1: If you have questions, just DM me? But also just
- 6:27Speaker 1: check the Instagram, check the newsletter, check your face, check yourself.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm just now I'm just using Atlanta Real Housewives of Atlanta.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Uh, I gotta get into that show. I think that
- 6:38Speaker 2: would be the one that I would really enjoy.
- 6:41Speaker 1: You would really enjoy it. You start with like season one,
- 6:43Speaker 1: episode one, You'll be like, oh my god, and then
- 6:45Speaker 1: then the yea, the progression of Nini is just she's
- 6:50Speaker 1: a star. Look. Feeding yourself is hard enough sometimes, but
- 6:54Speaker 1: what about when you have a whole family of mouths
- 6:56Speaker 1: to feed? Okay, my son is home from college and
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm back to feeding four people every night. I'm exhausted
- 7:01Speaker 1: from it, you guys, I'm exhausted from it. So thank goodness,
- 7:04Speaker 1: I have Home Chef. I can choose from over thirty

- 7:25Speaker 1: Users of leading meal kits have rated Home Chef number
- 7:28Speaker 1: one and quality, convenience, value, taste, and recipe ease. Now
- 7:32Speaker 1: I prefer the classic meal kits with the pre portioned ingredients,
- 7:36Speaker 1: but they also have quick thirty minute recipes of and
- 7:38Speaker 1: ready options, Microwave Meals, a dedicated family menu no matter
- 7:43Speaker 1: what you want. They have everything you need for hassle

- 8:03Speaker 1: and that's what I hate after dinner, all that stuff
- 8:05Speaker 1: you have to clean up. But not with Home Chef.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It's all simplified and there's no waste because you used

- 8:39Speaker 1: Day Fiance. We got ninety Day Fiance season eleven, episode sixteen.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Guys were getting close to the end. This is called
- 8:48Speaker 1: love on the line. Now, this episode was heavy on
- 8:55Speaker 1: the Kimberly, which was good for me, but it was
- 8:59Speaker 1: heavy on the Greg and Joan. And I got to
- 9:02Speaker 1: tell you, I was in my fields about Greg and Joan.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I really was.
- 9:07Speaker 1: But we're not starting with them. I don't know why
- 9:09Speaker 1: I'm mentioning them.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Let's start. I know, I was very confused.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sorry. So I just was like noting, like, wow,
- 9:15Speaker 1: he was I really believe in their love.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I do.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I want to. I believe in their love. Yeah, let's
- 9:22Speaker 1: just start with Mark and Mina, please and thank you.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Okay, So I set I believe in their love. I
- 9:29Speaker 2: believe in their love. Seventy percent. She is okay, seventy percent.
- 9:32Speaker 2: So her sister is there. They're bitching about American food.
- 9:37Speaker 2: She misses the baguette that she could get in France,
- 9:40Speaker 2: and I was like, the French baggett.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Dan donah dan raggett uh.
- 9:46Speaker 2: So she keeps checking her phone because they're getting married
- 9:49Speaker 2: in two days. So today is like the last day
- 9:52Speaker 2: for Clayton's paperwork to come in. This is up to
- 9:55Speaker 2: the minute, I know, so he can hop on a
- 9:59Speaker 2: plane and make it there for the wedding. And so
- 10:02Speaker 2: Mark and Mina leave Maria on the kitchen counter with
- 10:06Speaker 2: the sister. Did you say?
- 10:08Speaker 1: Yeah? I did. I was concerned.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I'm not a parent, so I don't notice a lot
- 10:12Speaker 2: of baby stuff.
- 10:13Speaker 1: But I was like, hmm, seems bad. I get hands
- 10:18Speaker 1: on that baby. The baby's on the couch.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, So they're gonna go look at the
- 10:22Speaker 2: wedding venue because apparently he has planned the entire thing
- 10:25Speaker 2: without her seeing any of it.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yeah, why didn't she go like last week or the
- 10:29Speaker 1: week before or the week she got there?
- 10:30Speaker 2: Like? Wow, I was she really okay with just hand off?
- 10:35Speaker 2: That doesn't seem like her?
- 10:37Speaker 1: But oh okay.
- 10:39Speaker 2: So he promises her it's on the water and it's
- 10:41Speaker 2: like lake Como, and I keep wanting to say Cuomo
- 10:47Speaker 2: and that's wrong. So it's if they pull up and
- 10:53Speaker 2: it's very pretty, and she actually loves it, and she
- 10:56Speaker 2: says it's like lake Como. She feels like George Clooney
- 10:59Speaker 2: on a She thinks it's beautiful. It is, it's very beautiful,
- 11:03Speaker 2: and the venue looks very pretty, so and there are
- 11:07Speaker 2: already like chairs set up, so she loves it. Wow.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Few that could have been a disaster. So they need
- 11:16Speaker 2: to give Carolyn, the lady from the venue, the final headcount,
- 11:19Speaker 2: but they don't know if Clayton will be there, So
- 11:21Speaker 2: then they start to go over the final billing and paperwork.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I couldn't get a good visual on how much the
- 11:26Speaker 2: total was going to be because it was all separated
- 11:30Speaker 2: from like food and open bar. And Mina gets a call.
- 11:33Speaker 2: It's her friend Nancy, and Nancy says, I'm sorry, I
- 11:37Speaker 2: have bad news. Clayton can't come. I haven't told him yet.
- 11:41Speaker 2: He's already packed all of his stuff, which just made
- 11:44Speaker 2: me so so sad to picture this little kid with
- 11:48Speaker 2: his suitcase all packed. Yeah, like his shoes on. He's
- 11:53Speaker 2: ready to go, like.
- 11:54Speaker 1: He's going to see his mom. I mean that's yeah,
- 11:57Speaker 1: and his baby sister.
- 12:00Speaker 2: So Mina is trying to hold it together, but then
- 12:04Speaker 2: she just starts with those silent liquid tears that are
- 12:07Speaker 2: so like thin. They're not thick. She's just very hydrated,
- 12:11Speaker 2: I think, And it's like vizine like it's just the
- 12:15Speaker 2: very thin I don't know how to describe it. It's
- 12:17Speaker 2: like water. So she's crying, and poor Mark and poor Carolyne,
- 12:25Speaker 2: the awkward venue lady is just sitting there waiting for
- 12:28Speaker 2: the phone call. She doesn't speak French, she can't. She
- 12:31Speaker 2: doesn't know what's happening. And then Mina comes in crying,
- 12:35Speaker 2: and Carolyn hops up and grabs a box of tissues.
- 12:39Speaker 2: She's like on it. She you know, she's she's deal
- 12:42Speaker 2: delt with emotions before with Brides, Yes, and she tries
- 12:47Speaker 2: to give Mina a tissue and Mark is like what happened?
- 12:51Speaker 2: Oh no, you're crying, and she just says, I can't
- 12:54Speaker 2: get married and then she walks off.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah. The Carolyne getting up, I was like, it was
- 13:02Speaker 1: to me, it was perfect comedic timing. I thought she
- 13:05Speaker 1: was going to get up and just leave the room. Leave.
- 13:08Speaker 2: I thought she was going to leave and just mumble
- 13:10Speaker 2: like I'm going to give you some privacy.
- 13:12Speaker 1: It's gonna go in the hall.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, probably, and then leave like she's probably used
- 13:17Speaker 2: to being like there when she needs to be, and
- 13:20Speaker 2: then invisible when she doesn't mean me.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that was that was heartbreaking. Now I do think
- 13:27Speaker 1: they'll go ahead and get married, because, like he said,
- 13:29Speaker 1: if you go back, we have to start it completely over.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Yeah, they're definitely going to get married.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, they're definitely going to get married. And I don't
- 13:35Speaker 1: know if Clayton's currently here. I mean I haven't seen
- 13:37Speaker 1: any spoilers.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know about I don't follow on social media.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Well let's move it on then to she Kina and
- 13:46Speaker 1: Sorper and uh, you have seen the bad boys of
- 13:51Speaker 1: ninety day with the addition of Sarper. You've seen this right, No.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Sarper has adjoined the Bad Boys group.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Uh, just for the one, you know, they just have
- 14:00Speaker 1: somebody come in for the one.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yeah, well Kimbali is there.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Yeah. Would you like to get eyes on it right
- 14:06Speaker 1: now because I think that it might ruin your whole day? Yeah, no, okay,
- 14:12Speaker 1: then he's you know, he can't dance. He cannot dance,
- 14:17Speaker 1: so they're all they really have moves.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Stripper is a construction worker outfit, and it was he.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Can't dance, he cannot dance, and he is clunking around
- 14:26Speaker 1: and like herm and master looking shoes and he can't.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Rob can dance. Jamale can dance.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Rob's dance at the airport when he was picking up Sophie.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Yeah, well he didn't dance good and.
- 14:40Speaker 2: It was choreographed, but it was just basically sidestepping.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Yeah. And also we never heard the music and we
- 14:46Speaker 1: think it was a cool routine that we never saw.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
- 14:49Speaker 1: But Rob can lip sync and he can kind of dance.
- 14:53Speaker 1: The rest of them can lip sync.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Not only can Sarper not dance, he can't lip sync,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and she kind of gave him some sort of half
- 15:01Speaker 1: priced botox special because his eyes are so round and
- 15:06Speaker 1: up to his forehead. He looks like a Romona singer
- 15:09Speaker 1: in that famous you know catwalk where she's like that
- 15:12Speaker 1: when she's looking around and he's in the thing lip
- 15:16Speaker 1: syncing wrong. It's bad. It's really bad. It's really bad, Sarper.
- 15:21Speaker 1: This is not go back to joke telling.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Okay, So, but is that what we get when we
- 15:27Speaker 2: if we take his comedy class with the working out.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I've texted Kristen again. Now, Kristin you met at the
- 15:34Speaker 1: Bunky meetup and she does the social media and stuff.
- 15:37Speaker 1: She lives in La. She said, Oh, Jake and Matt
- 15:39Speaker 1: and I are going to go to it. I said,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I don't want Jake Matt to go. I just want
- 15:42Speaker 1: you to go as a woman. I want you to go.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I want a woman's opinion of what he's trying to
- 15:48Speaker 1: do there, Jake and Matt. That'll be a whole different experience.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yes.
- 15:51Speaker 1: So she was like, I think you're right. It might
- 15:53Speaker 1: have to just go and enjoy it. Yeah.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 1: So they wake up in the bed and he says
- 15:58Speaker 1: he has a big hangover, but not because of drinks,
- 16:01Speaker 1: but because of all the intensity, and she says, well,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you know, I have to think about protecting my asss
- 16:09Speaker 1: for Sophie, because like, what if you cheat on me
- 16:11Speaker 1: one day? It could happen. And he goes, it's very
- 16:13Speaker 1: rude in my culture to talk about a prenap and
- 16:16Speaker 1: she goes, okay, well you're not in Turkey anymore. You're
- 16:18Speaker 1: in the United States now. And he says, well, but
- 16:20Speaker 1: I am Turkish, and he.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Says so is.
- 16:23Speaker 1: They both make valid points, and also, it's not.
- 16:26Speaker 2: That it's more common in the United States, but some
- 16:29Speaker 2: people do still think it's rude. Oh yeah, yes, it's
- 16:34Speaker 2: not like, yeah, yeah, it's not like everyone loves.
- 16:38Speaker 1: It doing it here, but hardly anybody loves it, especially
- 16:41Speaker 1: if you're going to be on the wrong end of it,
- 16:43Speaker 1: you know. And so he says it's very rude, and
- 16:46Speaker 1: he goes, how will I explain this to my family?
- 16:49Speaker 1: And she's like, oh, go the fuck. So she goes,
- 16:51Speaker 1: I have to get ready and go get in the shower,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and he goes, always escape. So she goes to get
- 16:56Speaker 1: in the shower and I'm talking. Toddy says, I never
- 16:59Speaker 1: thought she kind of we'd say a prenup is a
- 17:01Speaker 1: good idea. I never thought she would agree with that,
- 17:03Speaker 1: and I was devastated, and I worry she does not
- 17:06Speaker 1: see me as I see her and then talking and
- 17:09Speaker 1: she goes, I don't know. He's taking it personally, and
- 17:12Speaker 1: I just need to do it because one day he
- 17:14Speaker 1: could cheat on me. He could.
- 17:16Speaker 2: So you never even thought about it before your friends
- 17:19Speaker 2: ended up last night, right, and now it's like two
- 17:22Speaker 2: days from the wedding.
- 17:23Speaker 1: So and then he says, in Turkey, when you're married,
- 17:25Speaker 1: you don't do this. You don't think of divorce. Everything
- 17:28Speaker 1: that is mine is yours. Everything that is yours is mine,
- 17:30Speaker 1: and that's the way it goes. So he goes outside
- 17:32Speaker 1: and he calls his parents and his sister cousin Fusl,
- 17:36Speaker 1: who sell fusel. And I was all I could do
- 17:39Speaker 1: is look at the mom's lips because remember she kind
- 17:41Speaker 1: of told us, oh yeah, mom got lip filler. So
- 17:43Speaker 1: I'm like yeah, and they did a little little duckish
- 17:46Speaker 1: on the top. Oh god. So he tells them, I'm
- 17:50Speaker 1: in a bad mood. We went to dinner with friends
- 17:53Speaker 1: last night. They suggested this prenup, which is like a
- 17:56Speaker 1: marriage contract. It's only days before the marriage, and they're like, ah,
- 18:00Speaker 1: oh my gosh, she must just assume you're going to
- 18:02Speaker 1: get divorced. She doesn't trust you. So he tells them
- 18:06Speaker 1: about his great idea about oh, you're going to do
- 18:09Speaker 1: a contract with me. I'll do a contract with you.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Here are my terms. You must stay at one T
- 18:14Speaker 1: eight and or you get fined. And they said, that's
- 18:17Speaker 1: a great idea, what great motivation. I'm so amazed by
- 18:20Speaker 1: your creativity.
- 18:23Speaker 2: This is a man who has been babied his whole life.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Everything he does is perfection from these three people who
- 18:29Speaker 2: have enabled him.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Why can't they just go, Okay, we get it, it
- 18:33Speaker 1: was a joke, but right, maybe that wasn't funny or whatever.
- 18:37Speaker 2: But if they're just they're fully on board. You're a genius,
- 18:41Speaker 2: so smart, you're so smart and creative. We got to
- 18:45Speaker 2: tell everyone to do this new plan. And they'll call
- 18:48Speaker 2: it the surper the sarper clause, you know, the ser clause.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:54Speaker 1: So the dad says, are you sure you thought through
- 18:57Speaker 1: this marriage? I mean, they all love Chicana. I don't
- 19:00Speaker 1: know why they're acting like this now, And Fusel says,
- 19:04Speaker 1: we're concerned for you, Starper. If things don't work out,
- 19:06Speaker 1: maybe you'll isolate yourself again like you did after your
- 19:09Speaker 1: first marriage. And he says, oh, I understand for me,
- 19:14Speaker 1: And he says when he was married, when he was younger, he.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Said, which I always forget about me too.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I thought she was an angel. I thought she would
- 19:22Speaker 1: be a good mother to my children. But when we
- 19:24Speaker 1: got married, she didn't want me to see my family anymore,
- 19:27Speaker 1: and she changed totally. And I don't want to repeat
- 19:31Speaker 1: that mistake. Now. When we see I'm calling doctor Bunkie Lindsay,
- 19:38Speaker 1: doctor Bunkie Lindsay, who studies hair for her job. Yeah.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So when we see his earlier picture with the other woman,
- 19:47Speaker 1: he's turned to the side and you can see all
- 19:49Speaker 1: his hair in the front is super thin, because Lindsay
- 19:53Speaker 1: has pointed out that what he has on the front
- 19:56Speaker 1: is like a clip on hairpiece that's very common in Turkey.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Then that's in the front and it clips on like that.
- 20:03Speaker 2: I always wondered. Yeah, so Lindsay k The color seems
- 20:08Speaker 2: to change sometimes like it's very Sometimes it's a dark
- 20:12Speaker 2: brown like black almost, and then it has frosted gray tips. Yes,
- 20:17Speaker 2: it's strange, and then sometimes it looks fully yeah, lego man, Yeah,
- 20:24Speaker 2: it does.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Y'all. As ladies of a certain age, we are always
- 20:27Speaker 1: searching for products to help our face, but sometimes we

- 22:06Speaker 1: sent me a video one time, but I've definitely lost it.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so curious.
- 22:11Speaker 1: So we get this very dramatic next scene, which is
- 22:14Speaker 1: super is missing. Oh my gosh, everybody's running around. He's
- 22:18Speaker 1: out there looking for uh Mohammed of is it wasn't
- 22:22Speaker 1: the same. No, yeah, no, machamod Mack mood, Mack Mood,
- 22:26Speaker 1: Mack Mood. He's out there looking for Mack mood is
- 22:28Speaker 1: still walking around in all other jacket, dragging the suitcase,
- 22:31Speaker 1: and she's so funny if they just walked into each other,
- 22:34Speaker 1: Hi looking for you, for you. So she's packing all
- 22:40Speaker 1: by herself for this wedding shows. I mean, I knew
- 22:41Speaker 1: i'd be packing by myself, but I didn't think it
- 22:43Speaker 1: would be like this. No, I have no idea where
- 22:45Speaker 1: he is. He's not answering his phone, he's not answering
- 22:48Speaker 1: my text.
- 22:49Speaker 2: And then like, what is I have so much to prepare? Again?
- 22:53Speaker 2: We thought it was a bed wedding bedding and where
- 22:56Speaker 2: are they going? Because I thought they were Where are
- 22:58Speaker 2: they going? And what is there to prepare? You just
- 23:01Speaker 2: need like pajamas.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Well, I noticed this large array of tubes and equipment
- 23:05Speaker 1: she was bringing to path, and I was wondering if
- 23:08Speaker 1: she was bringing like all sorts of facial equipment with her.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Okay, I don't know. When you said tubes, my mind
- 23:15Speaker 2: went to a different place. Oh okay, I don't know
- 23:17Speaker 2: what you're thinking, but I don't even know. Okay, sexual experiments.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Ohtine, no no no, no, no no no. I was
- 23:25Speaker 1: thinking of like lymphatic drainage machines, and right, right, before
- 23:28Speaker 1: the wedding and for red light and all that.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Yeah, so.
- 23:33Speaker 1: She says, here's what happened. You know, I set the
- 23:36Speaker 1: coffee pot, you know, with the grinds in it, on
- 23:39Speaker 1: the ledge to take downstairs, and then when he picked
- 23:42Speaker 1: it up, it fell and the grinds went all over,
- 23:45Speaker 1: and you know, he's so oz d. He started yelling
- 23:47Speaker 1: at me because he hates a mess. And then he left,
- 23:50Speaker 1: but I didn't hear him leave and he's been gone
- 23:52Speaker 1: for an hour.
- 23:53Speaker 2: So she was to make coffee up in the loft. No,
- 23:57Speaker 2: it's not in the kitchen.
- 23:58Speaker 1: They brought it up, but they brought the whole like
- 24:02Speaker 1: you know, fridge press and then it has coffee grounds
- 24:04Speaker 1: in it. Just get a currig. So she tries to
- 24:08Speaker 1: call him. She's he's not answering. She goes, oh my gosh,
- 24:11Speaker 1: I just remembered I have an air tag on his
- 24:13Speaker 1: keychain in case he loses.
- 24:15Speaker 2: His keys, you know, she laughs, She goes, she's so funny.
- 24:19Speaker 1: She goes, he wouldn't share his location on maps with me,
- 24:21Speaker 1: and that feels shady. So I just put an AirTag
- 24:24Speaker 1: on his keychain, which I was like, if he's dumb
- 24:27Speaker 1: enough not to figure that out. Then he deserves Yeah,
- 24:29Speaker 1: you know, it's really so she tracks him to a
- 24:34Speaker 1: local coffee shop. Dramatic music is like, oh, we're going
- 24:38Speaker 1: to find him, and she goes, we don't have time,
- 24:40Speaker 1: Toddy be doing this to production. Now we get a
- 24:43Speaker 1: red screen of death. Okay. She kind of shared Sarper's
- 24:48Speaker 1: location with the other producers who were nearby. They found
- 24:52Speaker 1: him to talk to him, and he says to the production,
- 24:57Speaker 1: he goes, I just want to be alone right now
- 24:59Speaker 1: it's getting real. I promise I would never get married again,
- 25:01Speaker 1: but now I'm getting married again, and I just needed
- 25:04Speaker 1: to sit here alone and clear my mind. So we
- 25:07Speaker 1: see she kind of walking up in some real stupid
- 25:09Speaker 1: sunglasses and he goes. He says to her, he goes,
- 25:13Speaker 1: I'm scared you will change. You know, for two years
- 25:16Speaker 1: we've never mentioned this prenup and then now you just
- 25:19Speaker 1: mention it. And she's like, babe, what's going on. We
- 25:23Speaker 1: have to get ready, and he goes, I'm so scared.
- 25:25Speaker 1: She kind of I'm scared of marriage. Are you one
- 25:28Speaker 1: hundred percent sure of this marriage? And she goes, well,
- 25:31Speaker 1: I was one hundred percent sure, but now you're making
- 25:33Speaker 1: me nervous. Do you even want to get married? God, babe?
- 25:37Speaker 1: And that's their scene. That's the end.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Again, we know they get married, we know they get
- 25:45Speaker 2: married here, so still here. It really takes away some
- 25:48Speaker 2: of the excitement.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I know, if they could just get these people to
- 25:53Speaker 1: not post things to ruin it for us, you have
- 25:55Speaker 1: to really search word on Reddit. If we wanted it
- 25:58Speaker 1: to be ruined.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Right, you could have plausible ignorance. Yes that's the right word.
- 26:04Speaker 2: But you know, I look the other way. I actually
- 26:07Speaker 2: want to be surprised here.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, like I did do in the Sherry but
- 26:11Speaker 1: beaty thing. I didn't look at anything else. Let me
- 26:14Speaker 1: just do it for myself because you know, as I
- 26:16Speaker 1: would have listened to a bunch of other recaps, was
- 26:18Speaker 1: now I probably should Maybe I would have had a
- 26:21Speaker 1: different opinion, because right when I went on with Keisha,
- 26:23Speaker 1: I was like, I didn't watch anything else, and I'm
- 26:24Speaker 1: kind of thinking, maybe this James guy maybe is a
- 26:27Speaker 1: bad guy. Keih goes You're wrong. I was like, okay,
- 26:31Speaker 1: and then as we went through it and I read
- 26:33Speaker 1: it out loud, I was like, I think.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I was wrong. Well. The thing is, it's like all
- 26:38Speaker 2: documentaries that are a true crime based have some sort
- 26:41Speaker 2: of slant to them. Yeah, the producers like want you
- 26:45Speaker 2: to feel one way or another. Right, It's hard to
- 26:48Speaker 2: find one that is totally just the facts.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Yeah, just the facts, ma'am. Yeah. Let's move on to
- 26:56Speaker 1: Greg and Joan, the greatest love story ever.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Told, seriously. So it's the day before the wedding. They're
- 27:04Speaker 2: staying in a rental house. They're excited to have the
- 27:06Speaker 2: night away from Lucille so she can't interrupt them having sex.
- 27:10Speaker 2: What are you doing up there? So like banging on
- 27:14Speaker 2: the ceiling with.
- 27:15Speaker 1: It better not here in the shower.
- 27:18Speaker 2: So they have a rehearsal dinner. They go to the house.
- 27:23Speaker 2: She loves it. It's right on the water. It's very peaceful.
- 27:26Speaker 2: She's like, I would love to live in a house
- 27:27Speaker 2: like this someday. And it was of course, keep dreaming, Joan.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I don't know how much the house costs, but a lot.
- 27:34Speaker 2: It's not it's you could achieve it. She's she can.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Probably he's probably not going to get it with his
- 27:40Speaker 2: stage job, so maybe the bakery will take off. So
- 27:44Speaker 2: they dream about having kids and Joan will be the
- 27:47Speaker 2: strict one because obviously we've already contemplated this and imagined
- 27:51Speaker 2: how she will have five children one with one is Greg,
- 27:55Speaker 2: you know, right of course, and he'll just be on
- 27:58Speaker 2: the couch like laughing with the kids and like you'll
- 28:01Speaker 2: be a fun dad, but yeah, not strict. So Greg
- 28:05Speaker 2: has surprise for her. He has found some traditional Nigerian
- 28:09Speaker 2: clothes for the rehearsal dinner. He could not find you
- 28:12Speaker 2: gand in clothes. But this is close enough, everyone decides,
- 28:15Speaker 2: even Joan decides this is close enough. It brings her
- 28:18Speaker 2: culture there, and again like this is kind of something
- 28:22Speaker 2: that Jessica could be doing for Wan, Like it's yes,
- 28:27Speaker 2: it shows that you care, and he went out of
- 28:30Speaker 2: his way to do this, and so she just loves it.
- 28:33Speaker 2: She's so impressed with him that he did this. He
- 28:35Speaker 2: was really stepped up in this episode. So they get
- 28:39Speaker 2: dressed in the traditional garb. She comes down the stairs.
- 28:42Speaker 2: She looks so beautiful, and he almost starts crying just
- 28:45Speaker 2: seeing her coming down the stairs for the rehearsal dinner.
- 28:49Speaker 2: He's going to be a mess at the wedding. So yeah,
- 28:53Speaker 2: they and she's maybe not going to cry because she's
- 28:56Speaker 2: not that emotional, but it'll still be very sweet so
- 29:00Speaker 2: friends start coming over from the bachelor party. Lucille comes over.
- 29:04Speaker 2: She goes, oh, how lovely, Joan, you look beautiful? Is
- 29:09Speaker 2: that traditional? Did you bring that here? And then she
- 29:12Speaker 2: turns and she sees her son in his traditional garb,
- 29:15Speaker 2: and her face like freezes, and then they cut to
- 29:20Speaker 2: her talking head and she's like, I was surprised to
- 29:26Speaker 2: see him in that. I think I'd rather see him
- 29:34Speaker 2: in a traditional suit. And I was like, Lucille, you
- 29:39Speaker 2: got so much goodwill for me. You earned so much
- 29:42Speaker 2: last week at these with the strippers, like you were great,
- 29:46Speaker 2: and now don't lose it. But then she says, but
- 29:50Speaker 2: you know what, Joan looked really beautiful and happy, and
- 29:53Speaker 2: I know it made her feel more at home, and
- 29:55Speaker 2: we'll do anything to make her happy as long as
- 29:58Speaker 2: she makes greg she does like mafia like threatening thing.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it was weird. It was like, oh, she's beings
- 30:10Speaker 1: a nice on never mind never right, Yeah, y'all. When

- 32:06Speaker 2: Also what, you haven't really worked to make her feel comfortable,
- 32:09Speaker 2: but they but you let her in your home, but
- 32:12Speaker 2: with a lot of clauses that were very much like welcome,
- 32:18Speaker 2: except don't do this.
- 32:19Speaker 1: But I wonder I didn't see any elder gentleman there
- 32:22Speaker 1: that could have been his dad though, So I wonder
- 32:24Speaker 1: if the dad was just like, I'll come to the
- 32:26Speaker 1: rehearsal leer, but do not let meet on camera.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't want to chirn with my name on it.
- 32:32Speaker 2: You don't want to be associated. So they are celebrating,
- 32:37Speaker 2: and then they have catered traditional African food that Greg
- 32:42Speaker 2: has brought in, which again so nice, and then Lucille
- 32:47Speaker 2: is poking at everything, literally like hogging the whole line
- 32:51Speaker 2: of buffet, poking at this thing and going what is this?
- 32:56Speaker 2: Is this bone?
- 32:58Speaker 1: What is this?
- 32:59Speaker 2: Gregory? What is is this bone? What is the is
- 33:02Speaker 2: this spicy? Is this traditional? Is this spinach?
- 33:07Speaker 1: What is this? What are these?
- 33:09Speaker 2: Gregree? And He's like how many questions are you gonna
- 33:12Speaker 2: ask me? Please stop? No one else is asking, just yeah,
- 33:19Speaker 2: shut up, and then Greg Jones like you did too much, Greg,
- 33:24Speaker 2: and Greg's like, where are you married? A long islander?
- 33:27Speaker 2: And we do it big here, So he's very proud
- 33:30Speaker 2: of himself. It's very cute. And then he gives a
- 33:32Speaker 2: toast thanking everyone for welcoming Joan, and she's He's like
- 33:35Speaker 2: getting choked up. He's like, she doesn't have anyone here
- 33:38Speaker 2: but us, and you made her feel really welcome. And
- 33:41Speaker 2: then Lucille is like, I'll toast to that, and I
- 33:44Speaker 2: was like, again, Lucille, you you did not do everything.
- 33:48Speaker 2: You could to make her feel welcome, but that's okay. Everyone.
- 33:52Speaker 2: He was more toasting to everyone else, but it's fine.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Uh So, then Greg's like, there's one more surprise, let's
- 33:58Speaker 2: step outside. I thought he was gonna be fireworks. I
- 34:00Speaker 2: don't know why I thought that. But they go outside
- 34:04Speaker 2: and then some African drummers and dancers come up and
- 34:09Speaker 2: it's so cool, and the poor neighbors, I don't know,
- 34:13Speaker 2: the houses are right on top there. That's all I
- 34:16Speaker 2: can think about. But Joan is so excited, she's dancing.
- 34:20Speaker 2: She's like, I've never seen her so free like, and
- 34:23Speaker 2: she's yes, saying you know, because normally she's very reserved
- 34:26Speaker 2: and put together. She's composed, and she's like free and
- 34:31Speaker 2: she she says, I'm overwhelmed. I'm speechless. This is my
- 34:34Speaker 2: best day and it is so so sweet, and then
- 34:38Speaker 2: she says, I miss my family. I really do. I
- 34:40Speaker 2: would have loved for them to have been here for this,
- 34:42Speaker 2: but I feel so embraced and loved by Greg's family
- 34:45Speaker 2: and he's the right guy for me. And I was like,
- 34:49Speaker 2: until he's gonna fuck it up tomorrow because we've seen
- 34:51Speaker 2: the previews. And then so it's now the next day
- 34:55Speaker 2: and it's the wedding day. They're both so happy. She
- 34:57Speaker 2: goes to the saloon or the salon to get.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Ready, so she would do with the loon.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it was it was funny. And then so she's
- 35:08Speaker 2: gonna go get her makeup and everything done. And then
- 35:11Speaker 2: it's later. Suddenly Greg is like cussing to himself and
- 35:15Speaker 2: saying he screwed everything up, and Lucille is like, what's wrong.
- 35:19Speaker 2: You look upset. He's like, I messed up. The arrival
- 35:23Speaker 2: time on the invitations is six thirty, but that's when
- 35:26Speaker 2: the ceremony starts. And now I felt like this was
- 35:30Speaker 2: dumb that no one thought of this. But I didn't
- 35:32Speaker 2: feel like it was like an earth shattering mistake me either,
- 35:35Speaker 2: Like they really made it seem like the whole venue
- 35:39Speaker 2: was going to collapse because the timing was wrong, or
- 35:41Speaker 2: he lost his job, like I for sure thought he
- 35:45Speaker 2: lost his life.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I thought he forgot to get the marriage certificate so
- 35:48Speaker 1: it would yeah, officially signed, shows she would have to
- 35:50Speaker 1: like go back. I thought it was something right, huge,
- 35:53Speaker 1: but I was like huge, It sounds like it was
- 35:54Speaker 1: an EVI anyway, just yeah, send a text.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Send a thing. So He's like, if things were un late,
- 36:01Speaker 2: we have the cocktail hour, we have the dancing. The
- 36:04Speaker 2: venue you know is charging us for this stuff. And
- 36:06Speaker 2: I was like, okay, so they might charge you a
- 36:08Speaker 2: little more, or you cut into the dancing by half
- 36:12Speaker 2: an hour, and you cut into the cocktail hour by
- 36:15Speaker 2: half an hour, and then it's all worked out.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Like unless see you have the insurmountable problem.
- 36:20Speaker 2: No, unless it's like has to be timed by the
- 36:22Speaker 2: sunset or something like is it that? But no, I
- 36:25Speaker 2: think they're inside, so I don't even think that matters.
- 36:28Speaker 2: So he's going to send a mass text message to
- 36:31Speaker 2: people to tell them to arrive on time please, And
- 36:35Speaker 2: he just doesn't want Joan to be like walking down
- 36:38Speaker 2: the aisle and there's people coming in. I actually that
- 36:41Speaker 2: happened to me where I went to a wedding and
- 36:43Speaker 2: I was right on time, but it literally started and
- 36:47Speaker 2: I was like walking with the groom to this. I
- 36:54Speaker 2: was like, wow, you started like exactly on time. That's crazy.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Well, usually there's a wedding coordinator usher there or somebody
- 37:01Speaker 1: to not let that happen. To be like, oh, that
- 37:02Speaker 1: it started, so you need to go over to the
- 37:04Speaker 1: side or whatever. Right.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Yeah, so it was very strange. I felt so awkward.
- 37:10Speaker 2: So but I arrived what time it said to like,
- 37:14Speaker 2: I wasn't late. So he wants Joan to know that
- 37:17Speaker 2: he's reliable and dependable, and he's like crying, He's literally
- 37:21Speaker 2: getting choked up. He's like, I just don't want to
- 37:25Speaker 2: mess this up because I really want to make her proud.
- 37:27Speaker 2: So Lucille is going to help him and they're going
- 37:30Speaker 2: to start contacting people. She's just going through the list, like, okay,
- 37:33Speaker 2: so we're gonna start with Sandy. We're gonna message Sandy.
- 37:37Speaker 1: I think it's just fine. Message everybody you know that's
- 37:40Speaker 1: invited to tell them all time at six instead of
- 37:42Speaker 1: six thirty, So will arrive at six fifteen. That still
- 37:45Speaker 1: gives some wiggle room, still is a buffer. Yeah, and
- 37:47Speaker 1: then you can still start at like six forty.
- 37:49Speaker 2: I mean it's okay, you can push it fifteen minutes
- 37:52Speaker 2: the start time. It'll be fine.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Yeah. I was really ready for something totally catastrophic, but
- 37:59Speaker 1: once again.
- 38:00Speaker 2: We got sharp fake out.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Okay, we can move on to our throuttle. This week,
- 38:11Speaker 1: the Thrupple seemed so fake to me. It seemed like
- 38:16Speaker 1: they had told the ant beforehand, and they I felt
- 38:20Speaker 1: like they had told everybody beforehand, That's.
- 38:23Speaker 2: What I Yeah, their reactions were strange.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Needed if they had never heard of something like this
- 38:31Speaker 1: in their lives ever, Yeah, then their reactions were lackluster.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Yeah, so all right, I'd have so many questions too,
- 38:42Speaker 2: How does it work? What are the rules? Are you
- 38:44Speaker 2: all together at the same time? Are you like? I
- 38:47Speaker 2: would ask way too many personal questions. Probably they were inappropriate.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Is it like one man two women or is it
- 38:54Speaker 1: one man.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Like Holly family, and like their two different bedrooms and
- 38:57Speaker 2: people rotate.
- 38:58Speaker 1: And you rotate anestly together, Like what's going to happen?
- 39:02Speaker 1: They probably they definitely haven't thought that through. So now
- 39:05Speaker 1: we open with Annie is giving them liscerine in their
- 39:08Speaker 1: mouths and they all kiss to make sure it works.
- 39:11Speaker 1: They're going to explore Guadalajara today. They're there to meet
- 39:14Speaker 1: her family, and she says, I'm nervous because I've never
- 39:17Speaker 1: introduced a boyfriend or a partner to my family at all.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I mean, she's got three kids with three different guys.
- 39:22Speaker 1: She never introduced any of those kids. That's crazy. Yeah,
- 39:27Speaker 1: how any of those dads family? Yeah?
- 39:29Speaker 2: Really, Well, and some of them are active participants, because
- 39:32Speaker 2: aren't some of them with Oh wait, where are those
- 39:35Speaker 2: two other kids? Are they with their dads or are
- 39:37Speaker 2: they with the family.
- 39:39Speaker 1: The older one is like in his twenties. Oh the
- 39:43Speaker 1: second one, Yeah, she's got a kids like twenty two,
- 39:47Speaker 1: but she's thirty seven. Oh that's right. Okay, she has
- 39:52Speaker 1: a kid that's like twenty two. And then she's got
- 39:56Speaker 1: a son that lives with the dad, and then she's
- 39:58Speaker 1: got the daughter.
- 39:59Speaker 2: That lives with her. Okay, but she only talks about
- 40:03Speaker 2: the daughter, So the daughter's really the only one that counts.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Like someone will be like, you know, for the kids,
- 40:08Speaker 2: and then she'll be like for Antonella.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the only one she cares about.
- 40:12Speaker 2: So she's like Gine and Chasmine Chasmins would always talk
- 40:19Speaker 2: about that one kid.
- 40:20Speaker 1: You're like, you have to now she has three, So
- 40:23Speaker 1: she tells us. Annie tells us when she was a child,
- 40:25Speaker 1: she lost both of her parents. We don't know how
- 40:28Speaker 1: or what the circumstances was, but she doesn't have many
- 40:31Speaker 1: important people in her life. But she has her aunt
- 40:34Speaker 1: who took care of her when she was young. She
- 40:36Speaker 1: grew up poor, but it was a great life because
- 40:39Speaker 1: her aunt gave her everything she could. So they're touring around.
- 40:44Speaker 1: They sit on a bench to rest their feet, and
- 40:46Speaker 1: Amani has her hair pulled back and she looks like
- 40:49Speaker 1: a doctor spock or she looks like an elf, yeah,
- 40:54Speaker 1: or an elf. I've never she never wears her hair
- 40:57Speaker 1: back like that, so I've never noticed it before. But yeah,
- 41:01Speaker 1: I think that's kind of in. People do surgery to
- 41:04Speaker 1: get it like that, to have el fears, Yeah, well modification,
- 41:09Speaker 1: noa here, she probably had surgery to make her ears
- 41:11Speaker 1: look like that. So anyway, she's she's a beautiful woman
- 41:16Speaker 1: even though she's she really is. So in the talking Head,
- 41:19Speaker 1: Annie says, if my family doesn't approve, because this is
- 41:22Speaker 1: just not normal in my culture, I don't. I don't
- 41:25Speaker 1: know what I'm gonna do. So I'm you know, she's
- 41:27Speaker 1: very worried about going. So they're arriving and he says, oh,
- 41:32Speaker 1: this is really pretty. What is this called? And she goes,
- 41:36Speaker 1: He goes, they're butterflies?
- 41:37Speaker 2: Were they?
- 41:37Speaker 1: Cause she's like Maria Posas Mariposa's she just can't She's
- 41:43Speaker 1: just like, I can't even talk about butterflies.
- 41:45Speaker 2: So also they're all like the last time Matt says anything.
- 41:48Speaker 1: The whole episode, he's definitely put in his place at
- 41:51Speaker 1: all times, like, yeah, we're only here for your male member.
- 41:57Speaker 1: So everyone is nervous, and I'manie reminds us that her
- 42:01Speaker 1: brother and her aunt are very religious and they might
- 42:04Speaker 1: not accept them. So they all greet and everything, and
- 42:07Speaker 1: I think this is an airbnb. I don't think they
- 42:09Speaker 1: live in this house.
- 42:11Speaker 2: That's probably fair. Yeah, yeah, you're just spotting that. It's
- 42:15Speaker 2: a semi obsession.
- 42:16Speaker 1: The airbnb and people's teeth are kind of my obsessions,
- 42:19Speaker 1: so I don't think it's really their house. But they
- 42:21Speaker 1: all introduced, like, this is my brother. His name is Alex.
- 42:24Speaker 1: His wife's name is Telma and no h Telma, and
- 42:28Speaker 1: then the aunt is the aunt is named Virginia, so
- 42:34Speaker 1: the aunt Tia Tia. Virginia says she's so happy Brenda
- 42:39Speaker 1: is there. She's so happy to meet this new boyfriend
- 42:43Speaker 1: and her friend that came as well. So they all
- 42:47Speaker 1: do salude. They toast and Brenda Annie starts to talk
- 42:53Speaker 1: and Amani she's like, so, I just wanted to tell
- 42:56Speaker 1: you about my friends, and Amani's are like for it's
- 42:59Speaker 1: choking dramatically I'm dying. I'm dying. It was so dramatic,
- 43:10Speaker 1: and I'm like, of course Amani is gonna be like,
- 43:11Speaker 1: look at me. I'm joking.
- 43:14Speaker 2: So but if you ever you've had that happen though,
- 43:17Speaker 2: where it goes down, he says, in the wrong hole,
- 43:21Speaker 2: which is not I went in the right hole.
- 43:25Speaker 1: My husband always says it goes down the wrong throat.
- 43:27Speaker 2: No, that's not right.
- 43:29Speaker 1: That's not right either. He always says, goes down. I say,
- 43:31Speaker 1: go down the wrong pipe.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Pipe? Is I think how you're supposed to say it. Yeah,
- 43:37Speaker 2: but sometimes it's just just have too much. It just
- 43:40Speaker 2: get like a little spittle and you're like, it can't
- 43:43Speaker 2: be fixed. Yeah, you have to.
- 43:45Speaker 1: You have to literally cough it out. So Amani chokes.
- 43:48Speaker 1: She gets up and walks off right as they're about
- 43:50Speaker 1: to make this big announcement, but then Brenda Annie announces,
- 43:54Speaker 1: Matt is my boyfriend, but also Amani is my girlfriend.
- 44:00Speaker 1: The girl we're doing Heimlich on, Yeah, the girl who
- 44:02Speaker 1: were looking on with the elfeers. And she goes, I'm
- 44:06Speaker 1: with Matt, but I also like girls. They are married,
- 44:10Speaker 1: and I have a relationship with him and with her,
- 44:14Speaker 1: and we want to get married. This is a lot.
- 44:16Speaker 1: It's a lot. Not only she's saying she's by she's
- 44:19Speaker 1: saying she's in a throuple and they want to get married.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:23Speaker 1: So the sister in law is kind of smirking, smiling.
- 44:26Speaker 1: That's why I think it's fake, and the brother in
- 44:29Speaker 1: law is just sort of shaking his head like again.
- 44:31Speaker 2: And again with this my sister.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Well, I can't just be normal act right. So the
- 44:38Speaker 1: aunt says, how will this work with all three of you? Like,
- 44:42Speaker 1: I don't understand, Like, how will you be married? I'm
- 44:44Speaker 1: really shocked, and Annie goes, well, the truth is I
- 44:48Speaker 1: can only marry one, so they will divorce and we
- 44:51Speaker 1: can all be together. And tell me was like, wow, shocking, shocking.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Once again, I am very to the good sibling here
- 45:02Speaker 1: when everybody likes the most exactly. So the talking head
- 45:06Speaker 1: Alex goes, yeah, I thought we were told we're meeting
- 45:09Speaker 1: a boyfriend and a friend and so this is a
- 45:12Speaker 1: different situation. But again I think maybe they told them before,
- 45:15Speaker 1: they filmed these talking heads before, and then they were like,
- 45:18Speaker 1: but we're going to film telling you so accurately shocked.
- 45:20Speaker 1: I think they had to be prepared because the aunt
- 45:22Speaker 1: just didn't have enough of a reaction to me.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, or that's just her personality like Joan, or
- 45:28Speaker 2: she's just gonna like really shit talk them when they
- 45:30Speaker 2: walk away.
- 45:31Speaker 1: So Annie says, please explain to them that for us
- 45:36Speaker 1: to divorce after fifteen years of marriage or whatever it
- 45:39Speaker 1: is for us to divorce shows you how much we
- 45:42Speaker 1: love you and we want to offer you a better
- 45:44Speaker 1: life for you and your kids. And Annie repeats it,
- 45:47Speaker 1: but only mentions Antonella, fuck, those are the kids. So
- 45:53Speaker 1: and I don't like this offer you a better life.
- 45:57Speaker 2: I don't it's that very safe.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Savior, it seems like it's not really about the love.
- 46:03Speaker 1: It's more like we're trying to save you. And I
- 46:06Speaker 1: don't know. I mean, she seems to be doing fine.
- 46:07Speaker 1: She doesn't even need to be saving. So Alex says, well,
- 46:12Speaker 1: I'm open, and if it's okay with all of you,
- 46:15Speaker 1: then it's okay with me. She says, thank you, brother, Alex,
- 46:21Speaker 1: and the talking head Virginia says her childhood was hard,
- 46:25Speaker 1: and I'm looking out for her and I'm watching over her.
- 46:28Speaker 1: I want her to be happy, but I don't understand this.
- 46:30Speaker 1: This is not normal in our religion.
- 46:34Speaker 2: So among a lot of things not normal in your religion. Well,
- 46:38Speaker 2: I had to break it to you.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Go read the Bible, Amani says. Amani says, tell her
- 46:45Speaker 1: you won't be alone anymore because we will take care
- 46:48Speaker 1: of you now. And for a long time it was
- 46:51Speaker 1: Brenda against the world, but now it's the three of
- 46:55Speaker 1: us against the world.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Oh my god, this lady like Monny be standing during
- 47:01Speaker 2: this like speech, she's gonna save all of Mexico. Like down, lady,
- 47:08Speaker 2: she's a harder to stay here. Yeah, just way too much.
- 47:14Speaker 2: So I would be offended if I was Annie, Like she's.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Like, now you've said it twice that you're saving me, right, Yeah. Yeah.
- 47:22Speaker 1: So Virginia kneels down in front of them, which is odd,
- 47:26Speaker 1: and she says this is hard for me to accept.
- 47:29Speaker 1: But you know what makes me really happy. I see
- 47:32Speaker 1: in your eyes that you love her a lot.
- 47:36Speaker 2: What was she talking about.
- 47:37Speaker 1: I think she's saying, too, Amani. I see in your
- 47:40Speaker 1: eyes that you love her Annie a lot.
- 47:43Speaker 2: What Matt is sitting right there.
- 47:45Speaker 1: No, they don't, they don't, they don't.
- 47:47Speaker 2: They don't even look at him. The aunt does not
- 47:52Speaker 2: even look at Matt, who is beaming he's so happy,
- 47:55Speaker 2: like he's he's the one looking with love in his eyes,
- 47:59Speaker 2: but like no one is acknowledging him whatsoever.
- 48:02Speaker 1: She gets up and she hugs both girls and then
- 48:05Speaker 1: she's like, oh yeah, and mag goes group hoog, group pog.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Can I can I get a what can I get in?
- 48:11Speaker 1: Can I just just move to the move your arm
- 48:14Speaker 1: a little bit to the left, I'll just duck under
- 48:16Speaker 1: It's okay. Yeah, Oh my god. So anyway to MEO
- 48:21Speaker 1: is planned in advance, and they're in an Airbnb fake
- 48:23Speaker 1: fake fake, fake fake, check all the fake boxes. So yeah,
- 48:26Speaker 1: the three of them are all like, blah blah blah,
- 48:29Speaker 1: no one else I would do this for blah blah blah.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Move to the next steps, blah blah blah. Those are
- 48:33Speaker 1: my notes, blah blah blah blah. I hate them. Okay,
- 48:38Speaker 1: that's it. So now we're going to move on to
- 48:41Speaker 1: a more interesting couple, which is Jessica and One.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Oh god, are they more interesting?
- 48:46Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 48:47Speaker 2: It's subjective. Uh so she was pissing me off in
- 48:51Speaker 2: this episode.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Actually a little bit me too. Yeah. Yeah.
- 48:55Speaker 2: So they're driving as a family with the kids in
- 48:57Speaker 2: the backseat, and they're saying that all three kids are
- 48:59Speaker 2: going to be the bearer, and the one is, like,
- 49:01Speaker 2: you dressed like a bear, and it was very cute.
- 49:05Speaker 1: He's like a bear.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Then the baby starts crying and everyone's unhappy. So they're
- 49:09Speaker 2: going to this rental house. It's two days to the wedding,
- 49:13Speaker 2: so they're going to this rental house in Colorado and
- 49:16Speaker 2: they are talking head. In their talking head, Wan is saying,
- 49:21Speaker 2: but you know, we've had a lot of stuff going on,
- 49:23Speaker 2: but we're still here. We're still really happy. It's been
- 49:26Speaker 2: such a long time for us to get to this point.
- 49:29Speaker 2: And then Jessica goes and like a teacher, she's full
- 49:35Speaker 2: on always teacher mode parent mode with him, and he goes, oh,
- 49:40Speaker 2: and we're getting married, and she goes, yeah, don't forget
- 49:43Speaker 2: that key piece of it. And she's and he goes, Okay, no,
- 49:46Speaker 2: I didn't. Sorry, mom, sorry, you know, like it's so,
- 49:50Speaker 2: why is she talking like that's a woman who's been
- 49:52Speaker 2: around kids a lot. She's obviously has three young children,
- 49:57Speaker 2: but like she talks to him that way too, she
- 50:00Speaker 2: does going to get really old real fast.
- 50:03Speaker 1: And it's like she said, no matter what he says,
- 50:04Speaker 1: she sort of negates it. Yeah.
- 50:06Speaker 2: Mmm, so there's and she fishes for compliments all the time.
- 50:11Speaker 2: So there's like several things she does that I think
- 50:13Speaker 2: would just turn him off immediately. It turns me off
- 50:16Speaker 2: like right away.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Yeah, so she she bugs me.
- 50:24Speaker 2: So they're all running around the rental house and they're like.
- 50:26Speaker 1: It's so big.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Oh my god, there are doors in the bedrooms there.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Where's the whole there's no word art telling us to
- 50:33Speaker 2: gather and to family.
- 50:35Speaker 1: How will we know what to do? How will we
- 50:37Speaker 1: know what family? How will we know? How will we know?
- 50:40Speaker 2: Pee and poop here? Like we we'll know what to do.
- 50:44Speaker 2: So Wan has some relatives coming in from Spain, and
- 50:48Speaker 2: he's very excited to be around his people because he
- 50:51Speaker 2: does not feel like Megan and Herbie and those children
- 50:55Speaker 2: are his people. So his aunt and his uncle and
- 51:00Speaker 2: some cousins show up. It's very very sweet. Both Wan's
- 51:04Speaker 2: parents are gone, so he's very excited to have his
- 51:09Speaker 2: aunt and uncle. And one of the little cousins seems
- 51:12Speaker 2: to be around Jessica's son's age or maybe like a
- 51:15Speaker 2: little older, and so I was hoping they would be friends.
- 51:18Speaker 2: They can't really talk to each other because no one's
- 51:21Speaker 2: all Spanish. So aunt and uncle say they dreamed they
- 51:26Speaker 2: had The uncle says, I had a dream about Wan's
- 51:28Speaker 2: mom and she asked me to come to the wedding,
- 51:31Speaker 2: and the aunt says, we're trying to fill that spot
- 51:36Speaker 2: to show him that his family's here. And it's very sweet.
- 51:39Speaker 2: So they all toast and Jessica says something in Spanish
- 51:43Speaker 2: that translates to good seeing instead of welcome, which she
- 51:49Speaker 2: said being Benito's earlier, so I don't know. Then she
- 51:52Speaker 2: forgets it five minutes later and she says, like, I
- 51:56Speaker 2: don't know. She says, it's like one of the most
- 51:59Speaker 2: basic Spanish where it's whatever. Anyway I've been on it's
- 52:02Speaker 2: a small world like way too many times and it
- 52:05Speaker 2: says be and Benino's everywhere because it says all of
- 52:08Speaker 2: the like welcome but whatever. Also, I can't I live
- 52:15Speaker 2: in La like where a lot of people speak Spanish,
- 52:18Speaker 2: so it's she's not around it as much.
- 52:21Speaker 1: I'll give her, not grace, not in Wyoming.
- 52:23Speaker 2: No, Yeah, well I'm sure there are some people that
- 52:27Speaker 2: are like.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Well, I'm sure there are, but and she days defines them.
- 52:35Speaker 2: The next day, they it's one day to wed and
- 52:38Speaker 2: the snow is coming down. This does not look good
- 52:40Speaker 2: for their outdoor wedding adventure where they're going to just
- 52:44Speaker 2: wait till frostbite sets in and then move everyone inside.
- 52:47Speaker 2: So that I keep thinking of that wedding venue lady,
- 52:52Speaker 2: who's like, when we see the Luckness Monster coming out
- 52:59Speaker 2: in foot covered in snow, then we will move everyone inside.
- 53:03Speaker 1: The Blackness Monster would be in a lake in Ireland.
- 53:08Speaker 1: So you were thinking of yeah YETI yes, Uh, isn't
- 53:15Speaker 1: that not in Ireland? That is in Scotland, Scotland somewhere
- 53:21Speaker 1: somewhere else where is either Scotland or Ireland.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Okay, I trust you. Yeah, I don't know what I'm
- 53:29Speaker 2: thinking of. We just did some Bigfoot stuff on our Patreon,
- 53:32Speaker 2: so I think Bigfoot is.
- 53:33Speaker 1: In my mind.
- 53:34Speaker 2: I'd love to talk about bits that I can look sexy,
- 53:37Speaker 2: sneaky squatch Mary Peter's squat of choice. I don't here,
- 53:45Speaker 2: so I don't I honestly, I think I think I'm
- 53:49Speaker 2: thinking like the idit around is going to come by
- 53:51Speaker 2: the dogs and then they'll be like, Okay, now it's time.
- 53:54Speaker 1: To go in. It's in clear umbrellas. If it's snow,
- 53:56Speaker 1: He's like or just go inside.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Or just inside. Yeah, So they Leonardo drives up the
- 54:03Speaker 2: cousin from last time who had to go on the
- 54:06Speaker 2: status trip ever to Niagara Falls. He's going to be
- 54:09Speaker 2: Wan's best man, and he has been in the States
- 54:12Speaker 2: for twenty three years and has not seen the aunts
- 54:14Speaker 2: and uncle since then. I kind of thought those were
- 54:16Speaker 2: his parents, but then the aunt says, my nephews are
- 54:19Speaker 2: like my sons, so he's that's not his parents. But
- 54:23Speaker 2: still aunt and uncle. They're all very happy, they're crying.
- 54:25Speaker 1: It's very sweet.
- 54:27Speaker 2: And then suddenly Megan is there and she's like, do
- 54:31Speaker 2: you want some food? We don't have any food. Maybe
- 54:33Speaker 2: you guys should go to the store. So they send
- 54:36Speaker 2: Wan and Leonardo to the grocery store, although they somehow
- 54:39Speaker 2: wind up at a bar playing darts, so he's very confused.
- 54:42Speaker 2: So he's like, I'm not going to the grocery store
- 54:45Speaker 2: for all these people. I'm going to leave my cousins
- 54:47Speaker 2: at the house with Jessica to not speak Spanish with.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Them right now, so communicate. It's fine.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Yeah, So one tells Leonardo, I'm trying to adjust to
- 54:56Speaker 2: my life as mister dad. That was very funny, and
- 55:01Speaker 2: he says, I'm very worried about David missing out on
- 55:05Speaker 2: my culture, and Leonardo says, well, I have two kids,
- 55:08Speaker 2: you know, with my ex wife, and we only speak
- 55:11Speaker 2: Spanish at home with the kids. They only speak English
- 55:14Speaker 2: at school, so they're fluent in both and which I
- 55:17Speaker 2: think is a great way to do it. And Wan says, well,
- 55:20Speaker 2: that won't work for me, obviously, because Jessica doesn't speak
- 55:23Speaker 2: any Spanish, and then we get a flashback montage of
- 55:26Speaker 2: Jessica looking dumb, which was kind of mean, and she's
- 55:30Speaker 2: welcoming the family to the house and she's like, welcome
- 55:34Speaker 2: to the house, casa. Yeah, it's a big house. It's
- 55:38Speaker 2: a rondeande I just I just throw in the words.
- 55:41Speaker 1: I know, yeah, rio, you know CALLI inse well, look
- 55:47Speaker 1: at me aspeak Spanish, I do not.
- 55:49Speaker 2: I mean, she's really trying. God bless her. She really
- 55:53Speaker 2: is trying. Now. She could have done so much more
- 55:56Speaker 2: in the last four years, but she's really trying. With
- 55:59Speaker 2: the cousin, she's smiling and trying to welcome them Dawson
- 56:03Speaker 2: to Gusta football. It's very funny and the cousins are
- 56:09Speaker 2: calling the baby handsome and she goes yes, grande and
- 56:12Speaker 2: they like I'll smile, like, ah, she's dumb, dumb, blonde lady.
- 56:16Speaker 2: So all one is like, I'm worried about David not
- 56:22Speaker 2: learning Spanish. He says David, and I was like, no,
- 56:26Speaker 2: it's duffed.
- 56:27Speaker 1: You're doing it too, Wan, Yeah, your.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Spanish side is slipping away like in the photo and
- 56:34Speaker 2: back to the future. It's just like disappearing before our eyes.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Because he said David, it was so weird. So I
- 56:41Speaker 2: were around like seven times. I was like, do you
- 56:43Speaker 2: just say, David the child is duvied. So Wan and
- 56:47Speaker 2: Leonardo they go to a bar. They're playing darts, and
- 56:50Speaker 2: Leonardo's like, just tell just try to teach all the
- 56:53Speaker 2: boys like Jessica's boys too, and Jessica just try to
- 56:57Speaker 2: teach them all Spanish only sweak Spanish at the home
- 57:00Speaker 2: and Wan says, no, it's a mission mission impossible. And
- 57:05Speaker 2: Leonard is like, no, just tell her. This is what
- 57:08Speaker 2: we're doing. It's important to me. So this is what
- 57:10Speaker 2: we're doing. Good luck it's not met Jessica. She wouldn't
- 57:14Speaker 2: go for that, and Wan's like, well, she's been promising
- 57:17Speaker 2: for four years that she'd learned Spanish when we were dating,
- 57:20Speaker 2: she promised. Then we got engaged and she said, okay,
- 57:23Speaker 2: I really need to learn Spanish now. Then we got pregnant.
- 57:26Speaker 2: She got pregnant and it was like okay, now I
- 57:29Speaker 2: really I promise I'm going to learn Spanish. Yes, never did,
- 57:33Speaker 2: and so Wan is like, you know, this needs to
- 57:35Speaker 2: be fixed. I won't marry her if she doesn't promise
- 57:38Speaker 2: to learn Spanish. Well, she's promised before and it doesn't
- 57:41Speaker 2: mean anything, so okay, yeah, she can't learn Spanish in
- 57:45Speaker 2: one day. So then the boys and the cousin are
- 57:51Speaker 2: all playing the international game of ping pong, and so
- 57:55Speaker 2: it doesn't matter that they don't speak Spanish because kids
- 57:58Speaker 2: can just get along even if they don't the same language.
- 58:00Speaker 2: It's very cute, and he says it's so special seeing
- 58:04Speaker 2: my little cousin playing with the boys, and like, I
- 58:06Speaker 2: didn't really really realize how much I wanted my culture
- 58:10Speaker 2: to be part of my family until now. And so
- 58:13Speaker 2: he asked to talk to Jessica, and he tells her that,
- 58:17Speaker 2: first of all, the way they talk to each other
- 58:19Speaker 2: is so fake and like annoying. She's like, well, he goes,
- 58:22Speaker 2: You're fine, you don't need to coat you're American, and
- 58:24Speaker 2: she's like, I'm American, but I still get cold. It's
- 58:27Speaker 2: cold on my butt, and he's like fake laughs, haha,
- 58:31Speaker 2: cold on my butt too. Like it just seems so
- 58:34Speaker 2: like they hate each other or it's all I just
- 58:37Speaker 2: hate him. I just don't like them together. They don't
- 58:41Speaker 2: seem to ever have normal and natural conversations like that.
- 58:46Speaker 1: We need to just see the two of them go
- 58:47Speaker 1: on a date. It was like, no kids, no Megan,
- 58:49Speaker 1: no Herby, no naked ladies, no Niagara balls, just like,
- 58:53Speaker 1: just go sit down and have like a dinner together
- 58:56Speaker 1: and get their vibes together, you know exactly.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Yeah, without her lecturing him on something, right, that would
- 59:02Speaker 2: be really great. So he says, I'm concerned that my
- 59:07Speaker 2: son will lose his culture and he won't be able
- 59:09Speaker 2: to communicate with any of his relatives in Colombia. And
- 59:15Speaker 2: you know, I'm the only one who speaks Spanish at
- 59:17Speaker 2: the home, so it'd be really hard to only speak
- 59:20Speaker 2: Spanish at home. And she goes, well, I can do
- 59:23Speaker 2: the basics of Spanish, and look how far I've come.
- 59:26Speaker 2: I could barely count to ten before. I was like,
- 59:29Speaker 2: you can barely count to ten now, anyway. You know. Also,
- 59:33Speaker 2: I don't think you can do it right now, do it?
- 59:37Speaker 2: I don't think you can. So I think you get
- 59:39Speaker 2: to oh no. So she's like she's like like she
- 59:45Speaker 2: couldn't even welcome them into their home, like I just ye,
- 59:48Speaker 2: it's fine. But she's like, I'm busy, which is true. Again,
- 59:52Speaker 2: she's just a single mom, or she's co parenting with
- 59:56Speaker 2: the dad. Anyway, she was single mom to the baby.
- 59:59Speaker 2: She's like, I'm busy. I do every I had to
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: do everything on my own with the baby when you
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: weren't here, which is true. And he says, yeah, but
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: it's your son's culture, so it's not just for me,
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Like this is for your son, and you can't just
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: say you don't have time to learn it. And then
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: he starts to talk about his cousin. I think it's
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: the older cousin, the female that's there and her husband
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: who's American, and she's like, so he learned Spanish. She
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: doesn't have a huge language of Spanish, like the level
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: of Spanish, but he, you know, he's learned some. And
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: she interrupts him and she's like, he went and lived
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: in Columbia and he goes, can I finish please, and
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: then they just start arguing and she keeps interrupting him,
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: like she will not let him get a sentence out.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: She's so defensive and he is like she's she keeps going,
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: he had this many years to learn, he had twenty years.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: And he's like, well, at the beginning, yeah he didn't,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: but how long have you known him. You don't have
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: alone for twenty years. I've known for ten years. He
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: had ten years to learn. And he goes, okay, you
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: had four and you have it. And so he's like,
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: I only hear excuses from you, and you keep interrupting me.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: This is a concern I have and I want you
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: to know about it. And she tells us it's a
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: low blow because for the last four years I've been
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: raising children at working full time, and I don't have
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: time to learn Spanish. Well with those apps, I think
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: it's like ten minutes a day and you could learn
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: it in the car with the kids. You listen to
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: audio tapes. True, there's probably kids Spanish shows that she
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: could put on and like learn some Spanish. So she says,
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: I don't like being blindsided like this, and now I'm
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: going to go into the wedding all stressed out, but
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: like by the same token, she's always like, you have
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: to tell me what you want, you know. Yeah, so
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: she'd be mad if you know. He does wait till
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: the last minute a lot of times to tell her
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: it is the day before the wedding, right it is
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: the day before the wedding. So she's like, why do
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: we have to have this conversation right now, and he says,
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: cause we're getting married, and she goes, so what this
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: is a make it or break it thing, like I
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: have to learn Spanish or you won't get married. Well,
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: she did give him an ultimatum just last episode about
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: the cruise. So he says, I gave up everything to
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: come here and I just want our child to have
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: some of my culture. Now I do see his point.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: He gave up everything, but at the same point he
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: knocked her up. So he is doing the only right thing,
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: which is coming to be with his child. So you
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: should have wrapped it up one if you didn't want
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: to come here.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think this is a fake fight. I
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: think it's a real fight. But I think it's also
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: just like the day before he's like, oh my god,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: what have I done. Let me see if I can
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: just like pick something apart so I maybe don't have
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: to do this, you know.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Yes, he's last ditch. He is trying to pull himself
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: out of that grave. Yeah, he's like, I think he's
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: seen his life flash before his eyes and he does
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: not want this life. But I think it's too late.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: I think it's gonna happen.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: My airpod's just connected to here. That's weird.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: By the way, Sarper needs some wireless headphones because did
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: you see his poor nodded wired headphones in the coffee shop?
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Okay, are we good? Can you hear me? Yeah?
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: I can hear you talking about that? Yeah?
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: I did, I did see? Is not it? I used
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: to when I would record with Katie, I bet Katie
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: and hers would be like in a not up to
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: her chin like this.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: It's so funny. It's like a representation of her mind,
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: I think. And she always is like trying to untangle
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: them and she's like, what did I do? Why is
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: it like this? Why am I like this?
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: It doesn't that bother you? And she's like, does it
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: bother you? I go, yeah, kind of, it's kind of.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: It totally bothers her. Too, but she just it's not
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: getting fixed. It's fine, it's so funny. It's gearing. I
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: think it's it's katy, it's gay. Katie is a magical creature.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: She is.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: We don't understand her brain. We love her so much.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: She's she's got the pun brain, the brain that makes.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: That's why, because it's all tangled in a mess, and
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: they can come up with the most brilliant things.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: It's so good. All right, speaking of magical creatures, let's
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: go to Sean and Aliyah Aliah being the magical creature here.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Do you know a listener sent me the other day
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: a screenshot of an ad for Alta makeup, you know,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: the bultup store, and it was Alah was in the ad.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: No what, but it was her, like looks like her.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Now I don't know if it's some beautiful woman that
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: looks just like her, but it looks exactly like her.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Oh wow, she could model, Yeah she could for sure,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: so in the face, you know, and everything. So it
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: was a makeup ad. So also, somebody wrote me to
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: point out that the mom still had the Christmas decorations
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: up on the piano. So the mom to fourth of
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: July Okay, yeah, yeah, she's all seasons all the time
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: in her home is I love her.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Every room has a theme, I think, and I really
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: think she should be on Single Life if she's interested
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: in dating. Yeah, yeah, we're not sure about that.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: So all right, so the mom is kooki and that's
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: why she still has decorations of all the time, because
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: that that's the time of year. So we open up
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: with you know, the camera zooming into the house and
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: we hear Sean grunting going, oh, you're gonna get it,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: You're gonna get it. Uh uh, but he's sucking to
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: the dock.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: So match sharp fake out with this one.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I was glad for Sean was giving it to somebody,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: you know. Now they wake up in the morning. Are
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: we to believe that Aliah slept in that wig with bangs?
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: I don't think so. Now, No, she did not sleep,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: and she wouldn't mess up a wig like that by
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: sleeping in it. So no, but anyway, that's fine. She
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: wanted to have it on for her wake up scene.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: So today is the big day and he's saying it's
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: going to be so hot today, and she goes, well,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: I have a surprise for you. So in the talking
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: head she says, I love Sean and I want to
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: spend my life with him, and I know this prenup
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: means a lot to him, so I'm going to sign it.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: She comes out of the bathroom with the prenup and
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: presents it to him. He goes, does this also include
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: your autograph? And she says yes, And so she signs
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: it and says, I hope you never need to use it,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: and he says me too, And he jokes around and
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: says he'll frame it and put it up their bed,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: and she's like, oh, great, so I can be reminded
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: every time I go to sleep. That's great. They're joking.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: It's fine. Now Jackie, her friend, is going to be
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: there soon, and they're like, okay, now, if Jackie's coming,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: you'll be ready on time, and she goes. He goes, okay,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: so does on time mean one hour late or what
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: does on time mean for you? And she goes, no,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Jackie's coming now, so I'll be ready. And then in
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: the talking Heads she says to him, did you enjoy it?
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Are you satisfied? Now? I think she means about the prenup. Yeah,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: it strange sounding, all right, so now Mom Jeanie is
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: in the kitchen. Now we do get a shot here
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: behind the kitchen and we see the living area. The
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: piano does have like the white fake snow on it
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: with a whole Christmas scene the whole piano. There we go, Okay,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: now did you notice also mom has red carpet, white
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: leather furniture, and those eighties Patrick Nagel prints all over
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: the wall.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not surprised because Sean's taste is also
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: very eclectic.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and I just recognized it right away. I
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: was like, Okay, everybody back in my day when I
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: was in high school had those Patrick Nagel prints. They
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: look like that. That is I'm going to look it
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: up in a g e L. It's this very specific
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: pop art kind of style. And the women all look
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: like the lady who was being chased and hungry like
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: the wolf or maybe she was the model, Yeah, the
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: model with the like the slashes on the cheeks and
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: they and the punk rock hair do. So yes, she's
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: got three of these huge Patrick Dangle posters and the
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: furniture is white and the carpet is red. So yeah,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: just couldn't get over it. So so mom says, so
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: today will be your wedding day. I guess is it?
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: He says, yep, she signed the prenup. And I just swear,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: what a dream to have somebody that just in your
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: family that could do your hair.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: I know. But they get all bitter and resentful because.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: He's like, yes, everybody, I always say I'm not going
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: to do it, and then I do it. It's curling ironsting.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: A doctor and every time you have a cold, you're like.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Can you help me? Can you help me? Can you
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: call them to me? And a bite x So Jakie
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: and Sean says, I were in a business where precision
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: is important because you know, he has schedules and he
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: has this person put their their die on their hair
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: at this time. It has to come off at this time.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: If you put the rollers in, they got to come out.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: He's like, everything with me is on a schedule. Everything
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: is appointments and schedules is precision. And he says, so
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: he goes over the exact time of the wedding, like
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the wedding is at five, this is at five point thirty,
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: this is at five forty five, this is at six,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: this is at six fifteen and then Da da Da
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: da onto and then the dancing starts at eight.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: So you noticed there is an hour gap for Aliyah
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: to do a dance. She is going to do some
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: sort of dance, but there's an hour scheduled there. So
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: I'm assuming she's doing some sort of like three minute routine.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: But they do have like an hour buffer in there, right,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: And I think they're putting the buffer in because she's
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: known to be late.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe she has an outfit change. I don't even
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: know if she's wearing that dress the whole time.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: She five change, it changes. Yeah, this is gonna go
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: so bad.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: Oh god, I'm so stressed. I'm very curious to see
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: what side you're on.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Okay, So they arrive at the Milk Barn, Jackie and Elia,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: but this place is called the Milk Barn. So they
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: go into this beautiful home where she's going to have
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: the whole house to herself to get ready. So she
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: starts this long process of getting ready at one thirties
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: when she gets in the shower. Okay, remember five o'clock
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: is our goal here. Yeah, and then we get while
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: cameras were following Aliyah and Jackie to the venue, Sean
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: had an emergency with his mother, and we hear one mom.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Mom talking to Hetty says, I found my mother sprawled
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: in agony on the kitchen floor. She had trouble moving,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: she had hurt her hip. She's eighty five. You could
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: die from that. Yeah, I didn't know that that. It's
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: such like a well, I think he had a broken
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: bone in you're eighty five, you could die hip.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Apparently it increases or odds of like death, pneumonia, infection,
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: high effect by multiple I think they uh, and you
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: will make more likely to not be ever mobile again
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: or self sufficient, like that's when you get moved out
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: of your house something that's you know, and you're just stationary.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: It's like if there's this huge connection, huh, you go
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: up in percentage wise.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: I knew it was bad, but I didn't know it
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: was such like a They say it can be like
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: a death sentence.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Yeah, so this is what he says,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: And I was like, huh, but now Kimberly's researched it. Yeah,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: And he says, I've seen her hobble around on a
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: broken knee and say she's fine. So I know you
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: know that she's capable of just completely lying and saying
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: she's fine. And if I know my mom, she would
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: rather die at the wedding than miss the wedding.
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: Yeay.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: So he leaves and it's now three thirty. So she's
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: putting her leg up and she says, no, I won't
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: go to the hospital. I'll be fine by five o'clock.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: It'll be no problem. Yeah. So out of the shower
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: now Aliyah and Jackie are popping champagne and she's doing
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: all of her own hair and makeup, and she says,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: it's three pm, so I'll start with my hair.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: She says, So I thought last time when Sean was
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: with his mom, he said it's been very stressful because
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: they had to find someone to do Aliah's hair and
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: make hair braider yeah okay for under the wig, for
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: under to pray see it. Okay.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: So they must have found she must have had that
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: done the night before.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Not having a she should have had one come and
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: do it. I know she's a perfectionist and probably wants
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: to do it herself.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: She caming Sean to be like awed by her look
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: and everything. Yeah, And so she says okay. So it's
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: three pm. She goes, I need a full hour and
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: a half to do the hair and makeup, and Jackie goes, well,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: you don't have an hour and a half. You have
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: ninety minutes. So it isn't an hour and.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: A half that it is an hour and a half.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Okay, So that doesn't make sense, but that's what I
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: wrote down because I was like.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: Maybe she's what I think. It made sense on the show.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: So it must have been different numbers. Baby, She says, you,
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: why didn't you tell her that ahead of time? She
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: really should have. She should have been like, okay, you
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: now have this, Yeah you have this in the shower. Okay, yeah, let.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Me pop the champagne. You go put on that eyeliner. Girl.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: So Sean is in the car and he calls his
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: friend Stacy. He was like, my mom fell she hear
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: I think she hear her ankle. She maybe hurt her knee,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: maybe her hip. Can you go help her? So he
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: gets Stacy, it's gonna go get a wheelchair. Say that.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Stacy's like I'm on it. Text me her address, Like
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: Stacy's the kind of friend you want, Like, don't worry,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: I got it. Handles.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Your crisis averted count on me. M hm. So Sean
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: has brought an alternate wig to give to Aliyah. It's
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: over one hundred degrees. He's got the wig, he's got
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: it's outside, it's outside, he's got the dog, he's got
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: the rings, and he's got a suit. So now we're
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: getting that is way too hot.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: That's someone's gonna die like But it must.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Be just a total dry heat because nobody's really sweating
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: and they've got all that shade. Do you know what
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: I mean? Nobody seems to be sweating, because it must
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: be a dry heat where it's just sort of unbearable,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: but at least it's not so humid that you're just dripping.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: There is an awning.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: At least there's yeah, there's there's covers everywhere. I noticed that,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: huge shades everywhere. Now we get a clock ticking. Jackie
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: tells Aleah, Jackie, what are you doing? You didn't need this,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: did not need to be told to Aliah because it's
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: completely sidelined them. Jackie says that Jeanie, it was a
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: six minute conversation that didn't need to have. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: you're right, she says, Jeanie heard her she fell and
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: she heard her knee and her ankle this morning. And
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: then Ali's like, oh no, is she okay? And they
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: have a full cover. Oh I'm worried. I'm ancient. She's
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: kind of like tearing up a little, and you're like, no,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: mess up your makeup. Four thirty four forty five, getting
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: this clock okay, and he's ready. Maxwell's ready, and so
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: he's looking for his mom. They're giant chase there for them,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: which is great. The view is beautiful. Mom has the
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: foot propped up with some ice, and he knows. He says,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I just want this wedding to happen and then somebody
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: to take my mom to the hospital, Like that's what
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: I need here. And it does seem that they have
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: fans or a breeze because people's hair and clothes are moving.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: So either they have big box fans off that we
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: can't see, or there's a nice sperience.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: So then Jackie is helping Aliyah into her dress. It's
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: five point thirty, so it's thirty minutes past when the
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: wedding is supposed to start. Now we're getting at six o'clock,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: so now they're one hour late. And she's fully ready.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: She comes out in this dress, which is really something.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: It's really it's a naked dress.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: It's a naked it's one of those naked dresses.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: It's again not what I would choose, but that is her.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: That's very much her look. Her hair looks great, her
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: makeup always looks great, and she looks at herself and says,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: I feel wonderful and complete, which is great. Yeah, but
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: now it's six fifteen.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, you could you have been complete three hours earlier.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: And so his friends are like, yeah, what's the deal,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Like is she not coming? It's all like huh God,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: And he goes, yeah, dinner supposed to be served right now.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: And that friend in the in the shiny hat, the
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: Bodeska cowboy hat, I was like, are you trying to
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: steal focus? Why are you that?
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: First of all, if I was hot, even a dry
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: heat with fans and air movement.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: Way, are they by the ocean?
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: No, they're in They're in Wine Country, Soma.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but I kind of thought they had like got
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: driven west. You're right, so yeah, it could be a
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: dry heat.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: I would be sweating bullets, and I would be annoyed
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: at this point, Yeah, I'd be like thirty thirty minutes
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: wiggle room is all I can allow.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but they're the people that are complaining. I feel like,
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: are the people too close to the groom to be
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: complaining because it's like the mom and the best friends
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: and stuff, Like if it's a random friend, like, fine,
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: they can bitch, but if it's the mom or the
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: best friend, they should be like, it's fine, it's we're
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: gonna be fine, we're here.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: One lady's like I have a hard out at eight.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: I think it was mom.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: I was like, what, No, you don't.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Somebody They're like, they can at least provide drinks. Now
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: that I think if you're the mom, you could say, hey, Sean,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: you should get the way staff to bring everybody some water.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Like you could do something about it.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely. You also have a TV show there, so
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: maybe there's a PA that could go and get some
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: drinks if the staff is not able to just go
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: get bottles of water for everybody.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Yeah, So he goes enough, no more, literally, I'm done,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: no going back, I'm done, and we get this dramatic
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: music that he's like just gonna like cancel the wedding.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Now I believe he goes and sees her and he's
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: coming down the stairs, but she's late. He's mad. I
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: do believe they go ahead and get married. And the
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: conversation that we started the whole season with, I believe
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: is just about how rude it was to the guest
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: to be that late. Yeah, yeah, that's what I think happens.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: Is that what you are? I mean, the last time
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: he did this, he threw a fit, not a fit,
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: but he said, like I was married to a woman
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: before who would always wait, like I don't want this
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: to be my life again, which then you shouldn't be
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: marrying a woman or be marrying a low maintenance woman,
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: because some women are not like this, but like Aliah is,
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: but he has said multiple times like I don't want
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: to be constantly waiting for her, and I can't do this.
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: And then they had the discussion several times that day
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: and probably leading up to the day, and she promised, yeah, and.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: I would have been I would have put it on Jackie,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: like Jackie, this is your one job. Keep train on
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: the track right, don't distract with champagne popping, don't distract
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: with telling her about mom don't distract with anything, only
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: only the getting ready.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: And I think a lot of I think some of
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: like Aliah's anxiety and the perfectionism comes out when she's
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: going to meet his family and like wants it to
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: be perfect. But I think this was this, this bothered me.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: I was on Shan's side, Like, I don't think I
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: would have thrown a fit, but like, it is really
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: rude and this could you say this is like a
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: cultural thing like people said about Mina when Mina was
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: like four hours late to the baptism because she was
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: getting ready, and then people said it's not a big
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: deal in her culture, like this is just what happens.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: But again, you're in America with a bunch of American guests,
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: who are I think it's rude. It is over one
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: hundred degrees out, like because they had this discussion and
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: she promised.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I think that's what bothers me, Like, and they think
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: about what if it was Greg and Joan and they
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: were literally paying for things at thirty minute chunks right right,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: you know, Like, and I think that's not the case here.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Sean's got the money and he's paid for it all night,
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: no matter what.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's more about inconveniencing his friends.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Everybody's just sitting there and they were supposed to eat
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: at six, and now it's almost seven, and we haven't
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: had the weddings, so we haven't had like an.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: Older mom there, he's older too, like much more set
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: in his ways, and like also is a stickler for time.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: It's I'm kind of a stickler for time, and that
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: I say that ironically because I was so late for
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: a recording today, but I'm always late. There was an accident,
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: but like it is rude of other people's time if
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: the invite, This is just I don't know. I'm always
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: on a Leah's side, but here I was on Sean's side.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm too. I think it's I think it's very disrespectful.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I think it's very rude. I understand she wants to
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: look perfect, but I think that Jackie's role was to
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: keep this going, and she did, and she failed at
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: her job. I'm not blaming Jackie. I think it's Aliga's fault,
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: but Jackie was there to keep it up moving along,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: and she can.
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: I think perhaps Sean knowing Aliyah and how she is
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: and how she's always late he could have had a
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: third party there, like hired someone just to be like
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: an assistant that day, like one of those Carolyn from
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: the from Mina and Mark and Minas. You know, she's
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: so efficient y, you know she would have gotten things
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: the ball rolling because Jackie's not a professional at this
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: to like wrangle a bride. You know, no, no, no.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Well, next week on we get Maddie and Stevie, and
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Maddie says to said, I asked her if she's bisexual,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: and she said no, And then SAYI goes, well, you
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: don't have an answer, and I feel a responsibility to
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: your family and culture, so I'm gonna ask her myself
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: on the wedding day.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: No no is the answer. If she keeps saying no,
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: but it's your fault you are not accepting her answer.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: And the talk of head Mattie says, since the day
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: he got here, I was worried about him. What if
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: he says something and then I lose Stevie's trust And
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: Louis Sai going, can I have a word with you
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: before the wedding And she's like getting her hair and
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: makeup done. She's like, get out of here.
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: Bro I would have said no. I would have been like, no,
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: absolutely not. I'm getting my hair and makeup done.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I would recommend people go and look at Mattie's Instagram
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: because he did this very funny thing. Did you see it?
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Where it was like he was trying to learn English
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: And so they show you like two people like what
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: does it mean? Like handholding and you say like love,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: you know what I mean? And it was every single
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: picture to pict to two men and it would be
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: like handholding it. He would say gay and it would
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: say play and then he would see two men in
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: the bed together, he'd go gay and they would go
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: lay like every single thing he said was wrong. And
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: then it was like two men kissing with the sunset
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: behind him, and he goes gay and it said ray,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: like every single thing was the wrong word. But because
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: it had a y at the end with the first
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: letter miss, so every time you would say gay, so
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: he was like huh. So finally at the end they
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: showed a picture of Stevie and he goes, oh, babe,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: and it was like gay and it was funny.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: He was like, wait till the end and it's funny.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: I was like, Okay, they're funny. They're making fun of it?
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: How are making fun of it?
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Keep seeing gay this everywhere? Yeh see gay? But every
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: picture was gay. But he would go yeah, yeah, and
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: then it would like, no is this It was very funny. Okay,
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: So we get some very dramatic people will be walking
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: to their seats. When Joan is walking down the aisle,
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: he's like, I'm panicking. I'm panicking. She won't trust me.
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: This is a nothing burger. Sarper finds out she kind
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: of put an air tag on his keychain. He's like,
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: the level of mistrust is unbelievable, and she goes.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: Okay, see it.
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: It looks like it was maybe covered with like did
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: she sneak it inside of a key thing? He already
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: had a keychain. It's probably just you know, they have
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: those air tag keychains. So she's probably like, babe, it's
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: just the turkeys something else. Okay, gotcha?
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: And he says the level of mistrust is unbelievable, and
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: she goes, Okay, if we don't get married, you have
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: to go back to turkey bed. Is that what you want?
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: She's gone on another set of stupid glasses. Maybe they're
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: the same ones. Mark chases Mina to say are you okay?
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: And she's crying and she says, uh, Clayton never believed me,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: and I promised him he's coming. I was just like, oh,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: because you know, the whole time he's like, are you
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: really bringing me? Are you really bringing me? She's like,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: I promise, She's promise, I know, and they're all like,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: you have to call Clayton. You have to tell him,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: like you have to tell him he can't come. But
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: he's coming, but he can't be here for today, and
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: she's saying, I don't want to do it. I don't
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: want to break his heart. You know, it's upsetting hm.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: The throuble to do a stupid photo shoot. They're leaving
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: Tamoraw to go very very far away to San Diego,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: and Amanie says, now the big question remained, who does
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: Annie want to marry me? Or ment? And then we
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: get her going the person is and it's like did
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: did did did?
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: It was seriously like James gives someone a rose on
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: The Bachelor or something. I didn't know they were gonna
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: have her pick. She has to pick yeah, because she's
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: lucky to be there. That's going to cause so many problems.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: And then we see Amani and she's crying but smiling. Yeah,
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: she goes, she goes, I'm sorry. So she gets she
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: gets picked. You know, I think she gets picked. Annie's
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: too afraid.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Of her not to pick her.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: Yeah that's true. Yeah, yeah, I was mad for that matter.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: So we see Sean walking up to where Aliah is
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: getting ready and she's about to come down the stairs
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: and Jackie says, oh, you're not supposed to see her,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: and he goes, I am so mad. So so Aliah's like, oh,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: her face just drops.
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: He's saying, maybe I'm not even supposed to be in
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: this relationship, like this is crazy. Like he walks up.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: He was like, I am so mad. Yeah, and I
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: was like, okay, good. He's he's not going to like
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: dance around it and be cutesy about it, you know, like, no,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: I told you to be ready.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: He's like, I'm really mad.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: So but like is he overreacting? No, maybe a little,
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: but also maybe he's very hot and embarrassed.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: And yeah, yeah all of it. He's like, my mom
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: needs to go to the hospital. Like probably he thought
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: maybe he thought if Aleah knows that my mom can't
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: go to the hospital, to after the wedding. Maybe that'll
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: make it go faster, but instead of it just made
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: it go slower. Yeah, you know, but also maybe he
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: wanted her to know. So if she walked down the
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: aisle and saw Jeanie with her leg up with ice,
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: she would be like, what happened? You know?
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: She would write totally. Yeah, I'm very curious what your
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: listeners think, Like, which team are you on here?
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: Yeah? I like you and I Yeah, we're always seemingly
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: a bit in this situation. Team Sean. Yeah, I'm Sean.
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: Tell me what's happening over on a Date with Dayline.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: I know you took a break last week. Are you
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: back this week?
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: Yes, we are, and we're doing an episode called Secrets
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: of the Sliding Door, which is a repeat, not a repeat,
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: it's a new episode they did on Sunday Night a
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: couple of weeks ago.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: Okay, Secrets of the Sliding Door. Yeah, see, you always
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: got a check because you say it's always Friday. But
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: this time you're doing a.
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: Sunday Because Fridays have been repeats, it's been very weird.
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: They put in a new Sunday Night episode, but sometimes
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: it's a Sunday Night repeat, and sometimes it's a new
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: episode they sneak in there.
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: It's very confusing. Do you announce this on your Instagram
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: which episode you're going to cover or do people get surprised.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: I wanted to yeah, and then I don't. But if
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: people message me, I will always tell them. But I
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: used to, but then no one seemed like there's like
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: three people who always want to know. So I was
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: doing a post and then I didn't feel like people cared,
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: and then I kept forgetting So I just say, assume
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: it's Friday. But if you watch Friday and it's very
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: very very sad, like, if you know us well enough,
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: you can go, this is not when they're gonna come. Yeah,
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: there's a childe or something.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that you two did a rewind on your Patreon
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: where I'm a member. It was rewind from it was
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: two weeks ago. I think I wrote under it, like
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: as a fan. I wrote under it and said, this
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: is one of the top five best episodes you've ever done.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: That it was so nice. I saw that, it was
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: so funny. It was an episode I had not watched.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: I just put it on because, like I said, you know,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: when I'm not watching Karrie Reid. I have to have
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: something else, and it's trouble to me to listen to y'all.
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: And it was an episode I watched or anything the
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: episode was about. I don't even know what it was about.
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: I really don't even remember. But in that episode, the
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: two of you did ads for you were doing fake
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: ads or do you remember what I'm talking about? No, okay,
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: and you just were riffing on it and riffing on it.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: I was like, I wonder if on rewind they allow
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: it to just like go off the rails a little
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: bit more than they do on their regular feed.
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: No, I don't edit the rewinds at all. I just
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: take the ads out like the real ads and that's it.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: Well, so was it double Date True Nightmares?
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: I'll never be able to figure it out, you guys.
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: If I figure it out, I'll like, you know, because
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: me looking is not gonna help.
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: So I did also listen to the Pen and Mortman
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: two ten, but I listened to it on the regular feed,
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: I believe because I had watched that episode and I
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: knew it was pin, like you drop a pin and
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: then we could find about pen and Pen.
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: But we're not going on, and several people wrote and said,
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: I realized I've been saying it that way and I didn't.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: I seriously don't hear a difference like they just don't
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: hear a difference between pen and Pin. I don't either,
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: Pen pin there sounds so different to me. But it's
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: a real thing. I've got to figure out what this
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: episode was. It's really gonna drop me nuts.
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: It was so good. It wasn't Sasquatch County? Was it
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: the House on the Hill and see your comments anymore?
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: House fire, Price, Horse, Sun Dies, an apartment accent? Good one?
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: I just that one. Yeah, I don't know guys anyway,
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: this was not interesting to anybody. But I just highly
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: recommend your patroon because I died.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: Thank you, so so funny. So and I recommend yours
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: as well.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: I love listening to you and Amy and you and
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: Keisha and yeah, so let's get no ads.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: It's great. No ads is always great. So here's what's

- 1:31:36Speaker 1: June twenty second.
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: Rob is not doing well on that Rob is not
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: coming off looking.
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: Great well episode one. He comes off great.
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: Well in the preview for episode two.
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: I think for this for the what's going to happen
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: this season? It looks like he fights with people.
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: But yeah, and the one girl is mad at him.
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: The one girl he was trying to hook up with
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: will sending her messages.
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: She came up to him and was like within one
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: hour was like, will you kiss me? It was all over.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: And then she introduced herself to everybody at the resort
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: of high Nice to meet you. I've been to this
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: resort before. It's the first place I ever did. Anal
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: literally told every person, Oh, I've been here before. This
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: is the pur place I edited anal. I love Anal
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: and this is Tulum is special to me. Because it's
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: where I learned to do anal. Rob's like, ooh, now
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: I wonder maybe I shouldn't have kiss that girl like
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: that was a lot o wick my, because she might
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: be a little bit Craig Cray Yeah, wow, yeah, yeah,

- 1:32:49Speaker 1: You will change your mind. She should be on every show.
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: She's so funny. She's so funny. Okay, it's so funny.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: There's a part where Colt that says that he likes
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: to have five times a day, like that would be ideal,
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: but like it doesn't always happen, but seven times a
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: day is what he says, and Courtney goes, who does
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: he have sex with seven times a day? His computer?
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: She's hilarious. She's like, oh my god, Like I dated
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: this guy. I thought I was gonna marry him. He'd
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: never been married and didn't have kids, and it turns
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: out he'd been married twice and had four kids. Oh my,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: she's just so wacky.
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: She is wacky and she apparently like hooked up with
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: usman on vacation and then the same and then he
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: also slid into Tiffany DMS. God, he's just he's something. Yeah,
