- 2:07Speaker 6: What a hell of a weekend. That was amazing.
- 2:10Speaker 5: I'd like to put it to you that Matariki is
- 2:12Speaker 5: perhaps the greatest long weekend, the greatest public holiday that
- 2:15Speaker 5: we have.
- 2:16Speaker 3: It comes just at the right time, it does it does.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I agree with that.
- 2:19Speaker 5: I love a public holiday.
- 2:20Speaker 6: It sits on the Friday, not on the Monday. It
- 2:23Speaker 6: was so beautiful, Fellows that I woke up this morning
- 2:28Speaker 6: seething with resentment that it was over, although I was
- 2:31Speaker 6: very much looking for obviously to see you backbones and keezy. God,
- 2:37Speaker 6: you've made a real effort today. Mate, you're looking fantastic.
- 2:41Speaker 6: You're looking like a new man, totally rejuvenated. Caday Fellas.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I've actually noticed none of us have shaved. We're all
- 2:48Speaker 3: unshaven to share. Jason's got Mike, I don't know if
- 2:53Speaker 3: you agree with me on this. The weirdest hoodie I
- 2:55Speaker 3: think he's ever worn. What color is that?
- 2:58Speaker 6: You know what? That sort of an as here And
- 3:01Speaker 6: that's a good question. What color is that?
- 3:03Speaker 3: Right? It's like baby vomit or something.
- 3:06Speaker 6: Can I profer bayleaf? Oh?
- 3:09Speaker 3: Bayleaf? It's very pilly as well.
- 3:11Speaker 5: Did you get that free when you painted your kitchen
- 3:13Speaker 5: bay leaf three years ago?
- 3:15Speaker 6: I did, Mogi.
- 3:17Speaker 7: Ah.
- 3:17Speaker 6: The reality is, Fellas, I'd run out of sweatshets and
- 3:20Speaker 6: I had to resort to plan D. And that's this one.
- 3:23Speaker 3: The baby vomb sweater.
- 3:25Speaker 6: Yeah, the baby vomp sweater. And hey it's early in
- 3:28Speaker 6: the morning. Who care is Yeah? Fair enough, but I
- 3:30Speaker 6: tell you what, we've got a massive showy head. So
- 3:34Speaker 6: get locked and loaded in New Zealand. In the meantime,
- 3:39Speaker 6: is blink one a two for.
- 3:41Speaker 1: The Hdiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodiarchy.
- 3:45Speaker 6: Yes, indeed blink one a two there on the Big
- 3:48Speaker 6: Show Breakfast this Monday morning. The time is seven minutes
- 3:51Speaker 6: past six. I don't know about you, Fellas, but I'd
- 3:53Speaker 6: appreciate the longest song at the start there, just so
- 3:57Speaker 6: I can sort of get my bearings and all that.
- 3:59Speaker 6: So that was only two and it's odd. I'm still
- 4:01Speaker 6: not quite there. You know what I'm saying. I know
- 4:04Speaker 6: what you're saying, Jason. I'll talk to Prems about it. Yeah,
- 4:06Speaker 6: could you.
- 4:07Speaker 3: In the meantime, though, we need to talk to the
- 4:09Speaker 3: audience and say, hey, what are you having for breakfast
- 4:12Speaker 3: this morning? Yes, give us a text on three four
- 4:14Speaker 3: eight three and lit us know we've got prizes to
- 4:16Speaker 3: give out lucky dip styles for everyone that text through
- 4:19Speaker 3: on three four eight three. Get stuck in Fellas.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Yeah, totally, yes, Fellas.
- 4:25Speaker 5: An interesting one this morning is just want to have
- 4:27Speaker 5: a checked hears about mccaffee last week. It took a
- 4:30Speaker 5: little bit of getting used to because obviously we're only
- 4:32Speaker 5: covering for a week and a half of bricky there.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Well they are overseas, swing around.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Yeah, last week I couldn't really get my coffee, is right.
- 4:41Speaker 5: I had to wait for the coffee shop around here
- 4:43Speaker 5: to open at seven o'clock.
- 4:45Speaker 6: It's too late. They need to be opening early.
- 4:48Speaker 5: So now what I do is I open with a
- 4:51Speaker 5: start my day with a stovetop at home, Jason, Yeah,
- 4:54Speaker 5: very nice.
- 4:55Speaker 6: Now I've got a coffee machine as well. Right is
- 4:57Speaker 6: this coffee chair?
- 4:58Speaker 8: Oh?
- 4:58Speaker 6: This is coffee chair.
- 5:04Speaker 9: Now you're talking.
- 5:06Speaker 5: I've got a coffee machine at home, but that's too loud,
- 5:09Speaker 5: and I actually think I prefer a stovetop anyway.
- 5:13Speaker 6: Yeah, look, we're in the same situation, magie. We've got
- 5:17Speaker 6: a great coffee machine, no beans though we're out of bean.
- 5:22Speaker 6: We're out of beans. But interestingly, my wife and I
- 5:24Speaker 6: are not interested in the beans at the moment because
- 5:27Speaker 6: we've converted to the stovetop. Like yourself, there's something about
- 5:32Speaker 6: it that appeals to us.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Now.
- 5:35Speaker 6: I had a conundrum two last week because you wake
- 5:38Speaker 6: up in the morning and a ho of a mood
- 5:40Speaker 6: going ifan and Jeff and go, what's this about?
- 5:43Speaker 9: Future?
- 5:44Speaker 6: And then you forget your coffee. And then I was
- 5:47Speaker 6: lying on the couch last night and I said to
- 5:49Speaker 6: my wife, you know what, I'm going to prep my
- 5:52Speaker 6: stovetop coffee for tomorrow morning. So I'm going to load.
- 5:57Speaker 3: The basket up percolator, one of those silver things.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, silver thing that sits on top of the
- 6:04Speaker 5: gas or your electricity.
- 6:06Speaker 3: On top of the gas there, chizy. And so I
- 6:08Speaker 3: loaded it all up.
- 6:09Speaker 6: So this morning, when I strutted out fully nude, all
- 6:14Speaker 6: I needed to do was spark up the gas and
- 6:17Speaker 6: bobs your uncle did?
- 6:19Speaker 7: Did? Did?
- 6:20Speaker 10: Did?
- 6:23Speaker 6: That's so great?
- 6:23Speaker 5: And what are your What are you doing while your
- 6:25Speaker 5: your coffee is boiling there? Because I load mine up
- 6:27Speaker 5: with hot water, so it's faster, right, what I What do.
- 6:32Speaker 6: I do while it's brewing? Yeah, I have a quick shower,
- 6:35Speaker 6: Oh you do, yeah, yeah? And then I come out
- 6:38Speaker 6: and it's perfectly time. So I finished my shower, come
- 6:41Speaker 6: out to the coffee, fully nude, but clean cold. It
- 6:46Speaker 6: is a bit cold, but then you've had a shower, keysy,
- 6:48Speaker 6: so you're a bit warmed up. And then I pour
- 6:52Speaker 6: myself a nice long coffee, just a touch of cream
- 6:56Speaker 6: mog and one sugar as is my want yum?
- 7:00Speaker 3: Are you well?
- 7:01Speaker 6: As I say there, I'm strictly a black man.
- 7:06Speaker 5: In the coffee department. Huh in the coffee department. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 7:13Speaker 5: so I do exactly the same thing. Do I get
- 7:16Speaker 5: up fully nude morning, erectors? Ah yeah, jump in the
- 7:22Speaker 5: old shaw with the Then I get out of the shower.
- 7:24Speaker 5: I get you as I go to the kitchen. I've
- 7:26Speaker 5: got my pre prepared percolator, except I put boiling hot
- 7:29Speaker 5: water in it, so it only takes a minute or
- 7:31Speaker 5: soda boil. And then I too am out the door.
- 7:34Speaker 5: So I get up, electors, Do you get up erectus?
- 7:37Speaker 3: Do you get up? At four forty five? Fully nude?
- 7:41Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 7:42Speaker 1: Gross The Hurdiche Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy

- 8:18Speaker 3: tick through on three four eight three. What are you
- 8:20Speaker 3: having for breakfast this morning?

- 8:23Speaker 6: the Dinner with Me Kezy in the and our drive
- 8:26Speaker 6: show we do too.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Does this feel.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Different for you somehow that what's on the breakfast? Is
- 8:31Speaker 6: there a different vibe to it?
- 8:33Speaker 3: I'm certainly sleepier. Well, there's a whole new audience for you, Keezy.
- 8:36Speaker 3: You must be frothen I'm frothen mogi. The fact that
- 8:39Speaker 3: I get to strut out and wheel out my sigment
- 8:42Speaker 3: fully nude to the breakfast listeners. You know, it's a

- 9:04Speaker 3: former all black? Gooday guys, Walter here. Minooka honey and toast.
- 9:09Speaker 5: You know, we were away for the weekend and the
- 9:11Speaker 5: hotel served us up some. It was pretty good. At
- 9:13Speaker 5: the breakfast there. They had a honeycomb, yes, that set
- 9:16Speaker 5: at an angle above a bowl, so the honey dripped
- 9:19Speaker 5: down into a keezy you know.
- 9:21Speaker 3: That all the bees were at the window your mast
- 9:24Speaker 3: give it back.
- 9:25Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:26Speaker 5: But then in the room they also had a little
- 9:28Speaker 5: jar of honey. Now that honey tasted like shit. I've
- 9:31Speaker 5: never had honey that actually tastes like shit.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Are you sure it was honey? It might have been
- 9:37Speaker 3: ship in the jar. And what you just spread that
- 9:42Speaker 3: on your crackers and stuff crackers for breakfast here, Jason

- 10:12Speaker 6: I love that he's gone sugar free. Yeah. When you're

- 10:39Speaker 3: You make it in a little thing. Yeah, you don't
- 10:40Speaker 3: put milk and you submerge them in yogat. I think
- 10:43Speaker 3: I've had overnight oats and sprinkle granola on top. That's
- 10:46Speaker 3: not a week book.
- 10:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I was going to say, that's the sort of
- 10:48Speaker 6: thing my wife would do. She does overnight stuff and yes,
- 10:53Speaker 6: really gets deep inside my goat.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I don't know why your wife's name isn't Rob is it?
- 11:01Speaker 10: Oh?

- 12:09Speaker 11: its next series. Brendan Mcallum has been acted as coach
- 12:12Speaker 11: following a string of poor performances and continued off field incidents.
- 12:16Speaker 11: The care we will remain at the helm of England's
- 12:18Speaker 11: white ball sides. Broom Dame Lydia co has given her
- 12:24Speaker 11: husband's caddying skills a glowing review following a pleasing finish
- 12:27Speaker 11: to the Ivan Championship golf Major. She's finished in a
- 12:30Speaker 11: tie for seventh.
- 12:32Speaker 9: Broom Mobile Gun.
- 12:36Speaker 11: And the Auckland Ta Tata have missed the chance to
- 12:38Speaker 11: return to top spot in the National Basketball League, losing
- 12:41Speaker 11: eighty four eighty at home to Otago.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Is that ready Newsroom? So why are you calling him room?
- 12:49Speaker 3: It's not Room, it's not rem No, it's quite clearly
- 12:52Speaker 3: I played it before here listen too much.
- 12:54Speaker 11: Com How many stings do you have their keyzi? Because
- 13:00Speaker 11: it just never ends?
- 13:01Speaker 3: JOm, Well, thanks, Hugs has been in the lab. He's busy.
- 13:13Speaker 3: See you in hour's time.
- 13:14Speaker 11: Brin, Yeah, thanks, So you want me to leave out
- 13:16Speaker 11: that story next time.
- 13:17Speaker 3: It's a little bit tedious, to be honest.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Which one was that?
- 13:19Speaker 7: Jason?
- 13:20Speaker 6: What was it exactly?
- 13:21Speaker 3: What was it about? Well, that's what I mean. I
- 13:23Speaker 3: just switched.
- 13:24Speaker 5: You're you here, brim. But the rules are where Jason's around.
- 13:30Speaker 5: He's been quite clear on his contract. No woman's sport.
- 13:34Speaker 6: Oh okay, was it.
- 13:35Speaker 3: A woman's sport thing? I know, it's just basketball.
- 13:38Speaker 12: I just.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Poof, you know what I mean.
- 13:42Speaker 5: It's just hey, goodbye that with woman's basketball?
- 13:45Speaker 7: You know?
- 13:46Speaker 3: Is this true?
- 13:47Speaker 1: Jay's thanks Ram the Hurdarchy Big Show weekdays from four
- 13:54Speaker 1: on Radio hod IQ.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Fighters there in the Big Show Breakfast this Monday morning.
- 13:59Speaker 6: The time is six thirty seven.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Well, was over the weekend. I was down in Dope
- 14:03Speaker 5: wore oh yeah, dole, bloody beautiful. It was down there.
- 14:07Speaker 6: That's one of the lake cas.
- 14:07Speaker 3: It's got a huge bloody lake and buddy freezing though, and.
- 14:13Speaker 5: It's quite close to the mountains in the snow. There's
- 14:16Speaker 5: a huge dump. Was there, A massive, A massive dump.
- 14:21Speaker 5: It's good, yeah, because I went to the cob and
- 14:24Speaker 5: Coat toilets, you see, and I was I was at
- 14:28Speaker 5: a fiftieth It was held at cob and coke, believe
- 14:30Speaker 5: it or not. We'll talk about that later.
- 14:31Speaker 6: How good.
- 14:32Speaker 5: And I went along, and when you go to the
- 14:34Speaker 5: toilets there at Cob and co the first one that
- 14:36Speaker 5: you come across is a disabled toilet, right, that's the
- 14:40Speaker 5: closest one. And so I thought to myself, I didn't
- 14:44Speaker 5: think it all really, I just went in there. And
- 14:47Speaker 5: as you guys know, my ablutions, they happen irregularly, and
- 14:51Speaker 5: they happen often. I don't know when they're going to
- 14:53Speaker 5: come over me, but when you've got a I can always.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Tell, because you get like beads of sweat on your forehead.
- 15:00Speaker 5: But when you've got a Cob and Coast two hundred
- 15:03Speaker 5: gram sirloin state with pepper corn sauce, yeah, I went
- 15:07Speaker 5: the pepercorn. When you've got that sort of moving through
- 15:09Speaker 5: your bowls, sometimes you got to move.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Quick that in a traffic light.
- 15:14Speaker 6: So anyway, I'm in there.
- 15:15Speaker 5: For about fifteen or twenty minutes and absolutely just giving
- 15:19Speaker 5: a death conquering the joint way to go man the
- 15:22Speaker 5: Cob and Coat toilet. So I flashed the toilet. I'm
- 15:25Speaker 5: pretty feeling pretty pleased with myself at this point, not
- 15:29Speaker 5: really thinking about where I am, you know, in these
- 15:31Speaker 5: disabled toilets. Well I opened the door and lo and
- 15:35Speaker 5: behold absolute worst case scenario.
- 15:39Speaker 9: Oh no, there was.
- 15:41Speaker 6: Was it like a person in a wheelchair or something?
- 15:46Speaker 5: Well, no, I mean a person in a wheelchair is
- 15:48Speaker 5: not the worst case scenario, kizy far out I've met Well.
- 15:53Speaker 3: No, I meant like in this particular situation for you.
- 15:57Speaker 3: You know you're in there, you know what I mean.
- 15:59Speaker 5: I was just saying, like a So you're saying the
- 16:01Speaker 5: worst case scenario is that I could meet somebody that's
- 16:04Speaker 5: in a wheelchair. Well no, no, not not not in general.
- 16:08Speaker 5: I think that's a great scenario. But like you think
- 16:11Speaker 5: somebody who was in a word, you think that's.
- 16:14Speaker 6: Great, that's a great scenario. You're gekesy.
- 16:18Speaker 3: No, no, I just you said worst case. You said
- 16:21Speaker 3: worst case scenario, you know, and you're in the disabled tool.
- 16:24Speaker 3: I thought maybe a disabled person would have been the
- 16:26Speaker 3: worst case scenario.
- 16:28Speaker 5: Can I just get this across it's differently abled. Well,
- 16:31Speaker 5: you've been saying, we don't just dis we get rid
- 16:34Speaker 5: of the disc brother, Have you not heard that we
- 16:36Speaker 5: don't dish?
- 16:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, you were calling it what differently abled?
- 16:41Speaker 3: All right?
- 16:42Speaker 5: Okay, and not the worst case scenario. In fact, I
- 16:45Speaker 5: would love to meet somebody in the wheelchair so I
- 16:47Speaker 5: could learn about other experiences.
- 16:49Speaker 6: Totally.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Man, all right, who was who was at the door
- 16:56Speaker 3: when you?
- 16:57Speaker 11: No?
- 16:57Speaker 5: I know and I dropped my wallet?
- 16:58Speaker 9: Oh hold?
- 17:00Speaker 1: I keep Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 17:03Speaker 1: in weekdays at four on Radio hod.
- 17:05Speaker 6: Is indeed the Big Show Breakfast there are this Monday morning,
- 17:09Speaker 6: the time six forty nine now fell as one of
- 17:11Speaker 6: the challenges obviously of breakfast radio is getting up. Yeah,
- 17:15Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying. She's bloody early. It's a
- 17:18Speaker 6: horror of a time. And I was going last night
- 17:21Speaker 6: through my new Samsung phone looking at all the features
- 17:25Speaker 6: and stuff. Incidentally, impressed by the quality of my photos
- 17:28Speaker 6: and videos that I'm sending you.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Very impressed.
- 17:31Speaker 6: Jay, You don't any I send them to you all
- 17:33Speaker 6: the time. Are you not getting them? No, okay, I'll
- 17:36Speaker 6: sort that out.
- 17:38Speaker 3: I'm just saying that obviously some sort of technical could
- 17:41Speaker 3: you stop.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Seeing them to me as well? If I don't know
- 17:43Speaker 5: that was an option. Well, I'm not following you on Instagram,
- 17:45Speaker 5: and I've also blocked you, so that might be the reason.
- 17:47Speaker 6: Actually what we could do? Kezy?
- 17:50Speaker 3: Could you.
- 17:53Speaker 6: Send the images that I have passed on to you
- 17:55Speaker 6: to Mogi?
- 17:56Speaker 10: Right?
- 17:56Speaker 6: That might work better.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Well, I don't want to have to block kezycause I
- 18:00Speaker 5: like everything else that Kesey's seending me. But if he's
- 18:02Speaker 5: going to start seeing me your film, it's not I
- 18:05Speaker 5: it's a.
- 18:07Speaker 6: Mostly now listen. One of the features I noticed is
- 18:11Speaker 6: that in my alarm you can set a group alarm notification, right,
- 18:18Speaker 6: And I thought, how cute, even a little bit sexy
- 18:24Speaker 6: in a weird kind of way. If the Big Show
- 18:27Speaker 6: had a group of armb How does it work? Well,
- 18:30Speaker 6: you just send it off to all the fellas, you
- 18:32Speaker 6: set the time, and then you guys, just put it
- 18:34Speaker 6: in your phone.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Because I don't know about you.
- 18:37Speaker 6: There's something I find kind of cute about the fellas
- 18:41Speaker 6: all waking up to get exactly the same time together, you.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Know what I mean.
- 18:47Speaker 6: And I'll be I'll wake up and I'll be I
- 18:50Speaker 6: wonder how old Moog is waking up? Right, bloody Keyzy
- 18:54Speaker 6: will be in a her of the moon old pag sound.
- 18:56Speaker 6: I wonder what he's up to. He'll be raging.
- 18:59Speaker 3: What if I if if I snooze the alarm doesn't
- 19:01Speaker 3: snooze for everyone.
- 19:02Speaker 6: No, there's no snooze on it, so once it goes off,
- 19:07Speaker 6: you go off basically right. And I think there's something
- 19:10Speaker 6: about knowing that every one of us in the big
- 19:14Speaker 6: show is at that moment, at that exactment and time,
- 19:18Speaker 6: is getting up out of bed and going about their day.
- 19:23Speaker 5: I think it just adds a layer of complication that
- 19:25Speaker 5: the show probably doesn't need. And my solution for that is,
- 19:30Speaker 5: why don't we just get a really big bed and
- 19:32Speaker 5: all sleep in there? Oh, we all sleep together in
- 19:36Speaker 5: one giant bed. And then because the thing is PAGs
- 19:39Speaker 5: is going to get up a little bit earlier, so
- 19:41Speaker 5: he's going to need a separate alarm.
- 19:43Speaker 6: But we can all be in there a way cap.
- 19:44Speaker 3: And go good on your pegs, your back burn off,
- 19:46Speaker 3: you go.
- 19:47Speaker 6: Well, keep it down, would you allow bust and I'm
- 19:49Speaker 6: trying to get a snooze in here? Make sure you
- 19:52Speaker 6: get the old toilet brush gown before you leave.
- 19:54Speaker 3: You could have one really big triple bed with one
- 19:58Speaker 3: of those little beds next to it. Yes, that's a
- 20:00Speaker 3: little wheelie bed next.
- 20:01Speaker 5: To Yeah, well you know, alternatively, you can put Hoidy
- 20:04Speaker 5: j in one of the drawers, you know, because we've
- 20:06Speaker 5: always got a tall boy and you put Hoidy.
- 20:08Speaker 6: J in there and you just close it up at night.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Noet, Like I was going to say, I'd be happy
- 20:13Speaker 3: with the cot you know what I'm saying.
- 20:15Speaker 6: Yeah, so I'd be in the bassinet and you three
- 20:18Speaker 6: backbones would be in the main bed.
- 20:20Speaker 7: No.
- 20:21Speaker 6: No, because we'll probably put you in the drawer and
- 20:22Speaker 6: then we'll all go home.
- 20:24Speaker 3: We would like it, or we just sort of set
- 20:26Speaker 3: our own arms and just wake up individually. I suppose
- 20:31Speaker 3: we could do that, kid. I just thought it would
- 20:32Speaker 3: be let's get a really big bed. There's a new order.
- 20:38Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio hold Ache.
- 20:46Speaker 3: You're welcome back, your massive Backbones.

- 21:00Speaker 3: by Bunnings.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Like the sound of that.
- 21:03Speaker 6: I imagine there would have been a bit of Bunnings
- 21:05Speaker 6: action over the Marto Riki Weekend Fellas and people getting
- 21:10Speaker 6: in there and doing a bit of DIY.
- 21:14Speaker 3: You love de wine, don't you just sure do, man,
- 21:18Speaker 3: I'd say that people probably would have went to Bunnings
- 21:20Speaker 3: over the weekend. Yeah, you're right, good call, Kesy, Thanks
- 21:23Speaker 3: for that was my call. But I appreciate that for
- 21:26Speaker 3: your call. It's just like a bit people went to
- 21:28Speaker 3: Bunnings over the week It's like, yeah, probably, oh good
- 21:30Speaker 3: cool keys, Well can you be a bit more enthusiastic
- 21:32Speaker 3: about it?
- 21:33Speaker 6: What people are going to bunning? Yeah, people are always
- 21:35Speaker 6: going to Bunnings. Whatever, Man, good call, easy, Thanks Mogi hoy. Incidentally,

- 21:44Speaker 13: Was?
- 21:44Speaker 6: How are you feeling about being back at work this
- 21:47Speaker 6: Monday morning? Coming up?
- 21:49Speaker 3: Is it on three four eight three?
- 21:50Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 21:50Speaker 6: I suppose so, Man, what's just eight hundred haduki?
- 21:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that'll do man.
- 21:55Speaker 6: Whatever, however, you communicate with the station just.
- 21:59Speaker 5: If you're passing. Are the studios coming for a chit chat?
- 22:02Speaker 6: Yeah? Totally man, Hey, speaking of a chit chat coming
- 22:06Speaker 6: up next. I'm very excited about this because, as I
- 22:08Speaker 6: previously stated, the Fellows love their food. We've got the
- 22:12Speaker 6: food travel writer for the New Zealand Herald coming in. Yes,
- 22:15Speaker 6: James Pugsley very much looking forward to that for he's
- 22:21Speaker 6: just written a fresh article from his time in Vietnam.
- 22:24Speaker 5: And boy was when was he in Vietnam?
- 22:26Speaker 6: About a year ago?
- 22:28Speaker 3: Started as like March.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Yeah, jez it must be a hell of a yeah,
- 22:32Speaker 5: hell of a column.
- 22:33Speaker 6: Looking forward to it. In the meantime, here's the Black Keys.
- 22:38Speaker 1: The Hurdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune

- 22:50Speaker 6: o'clock and we've got food travel writer for the New
- 22:52Speaker 6: Zealand Herald, James Pugly in.
- 22:54Speaker 3: The studio with Usuly.
- 22:56Speaker 6: James Pugsley Pugly.
- 22:59Speaker 3: That sounds like you should's known to make it sound
- 23:01Speaker 3: like it was ugly?
- 23:02Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 23:02Speaker 5: Is that what you did? What was said about me?
- 23:03Speaker 6: It was pretty cool?
- 23:04Speaker 3: Grow up, fellows, James Pugsley, you are fresh back from
- 23:08Speaker 3: a trip to Vietnam. Is that correct?
- 23:10Speaker 6: I actually went in March, Kesy in March.
- 23:12Speaker 3: But you wrote an article and it is now on
- 23:15Speaker 3: the Herald and the article is three weeks of Barn
- 23:17Speaker 3: me Bliss Vietnam's Best Sandwich rated And it was basically
- 23:23Speaker 3: it's a review of every single barn Me sandwich you
- 23:25Speaker 3: had whilst traveling Vietnam.
- 23:27Speaker 6: What a great idea that is, Thanks Jess.
- 23:33Speaker 12: Yeah, well, I got over to Vietnam and I wanted
- 23:35Speaker 12: to document, you know, my experiences over there. And I
- 23:38Speaker 12: was really excited for all the barn Mese because I
- 23:40Speaker 12: was a fan before I left. But I was like,
- 23:42Speaker 12: this is the real deal, and so I thought, why
- 23:44Speaker 12: don't I Why don't I use it as a diary
- 23:47Speaker 12: for the other experience Sorry are you yawning, Moggie? As
- 23:54Speaker 12: a diary for the other experiences I had while I
- 23:56Speaker 12: was in Vietnam.
- 23:57Speaker 6: And for those who don't know.
- 23:58Speaker 3: What barn Me is like a French bag style roll
- 24:01Speaker 3: with pork or chicken or whatever inside.
- 24:03Speaker 6: It often often beef too keysy.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Okay, you've meant to be an a Jason boy, have I?
- 24:10Speaker 3: And the exciting thing is, Pugs is we've all we've
- 24:13Speaker 3: all had a read of your article. Man, thanks Fellas.
- 24:15Speaker 6: I appreciate that and it looks great. Didn't know you
- 24:18Speaker 6: were travel readers.
- 24:20Speaker 5: I just want to support you, man totally.
- 24:22Speaker 6: Can I just say what I really love about the
- 24:24Speaker 6: article there, Pugs Son, is that I can hear your
- 24:27Speaker 6: voice in it? Thanks gat writers uh And it is
- 24:31Speaker 6: a sign of a great writer because it means that
- 24:33Speaker 6: you're being authentic to yourself.
- 24:36Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 24:37Speaker 14: For example, this but a good and drink first like Curry, Okay,
- 24:45Speaker 14: we need to guy picked.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Me up the following K.
- 24:50Speaker 5: Jason, Yes, that's weird. That's not the voice that I hear,
- 24:53Speaker 5: isn't it? I hear Pugs' voice?
- 24:57Speaker 6: Thank you, Mogy.
- 24:57Speaker 5: I appreciate it.
- 25:00Speaker 10: Beef, we no one dance when I took their biggest
- 25:04Speaker 10: beach clap on the strip.
- 25:06Speaker 9: We decided a hole in.
- 25:08Speaker 10: The wall vinyl bar with.
- 25:11Speaker 6: Say Let's Sweet, two Italians in a.
- 25:15Speaker 10: Darling German woman and made tricks to a prohibition theme
- 25:23Speaker 10: live June cocktail.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Is that how you hear Pak Sang's voice?
- 25:29Speaker 7: Is it?
- 25:30Speaker 6: It sounds like.
- 25:32Speaker 12: That?
- 25:33Speaker 3: Right? I love the final The way you wrapped up
- 25:36Speaker 3: the whole article is really nice about your trip, Thank you, Chris.
- 25:39Speaker 8: I appreciate to the misty villagers, had my heartbroken and
- 25:43Speaker 8: prisoned museums and paddled through Kong's home. I've danced my
- 25:48Speaker 8: pants off and had new ones tailored. All were defined
- 25:54Speaker 8: by the genuine welcoming nature.
- 25:56Speaker 6: Oh yeah, this is what I like to you have verdicts, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 26:03Speaker 6: sort of right, because I mean I don't get any
- 26:05Speaker 6: sort of food scenario.
- 26:06Speaker 3: You do need a rating.
- 26:09Speaker 6: Af they tried to There's a reason I didn't tell you, Fellas.
- 26:18Speaker 3: I wrote that up. Go on the herold you can
- 26:21Speaker 3: find the article there. Well, good parts, very good. Enjoyed it.
- 26:24Speaker 9: Here's live the Hierarchy.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 26:28Speaker 6: Tune in on Radio Live on the Big Show Breakfast
- 26:33Speaker 6: this Monday morning. The time is seventeen minutes past seven o'clock.
- 26:37Speaker 6: And Fellas, we just had the Markariki weekend and Mogi,
- 26:41Speaker 6: a lot of promises made by you about your intentions
- 26:45Speaker 6: over that long weekend. You are looking to be a
- 26:48Speaker 6: good boy. Can I put it that way? You didn't
- 26:50Speaker 6: want to indulge in the darries, You didn't want to
- 26:52Speaker 6: indulge in the booze, et cetera, et cetera. You want
- 26:55Speaker 6: to clean, healthy living.
- 26:56Speaker 3: How'd you go?
- 26:58Speaker 7: Well?
- 26:59Speaker 5: I like to reraim that if I, if I possibly could, yes,
- 27:02Speaker 5: going into the long weekend, I had to. I went
- 27:04Speaker 5: down to Topor for a friend's fiftieth birthday how good.
- 27:09Speaker 5: But also it was my daughter's birthday weekend, yes, so
- 27:13Speaker 5: she didn't want to have a party. She wanted to
- 27:14Speaker 5: go away for a family holiday, so I didn't want
- 27:18Speaker 5: to be drunk slash hungover for that and sort of
- 27:21Speaker 5: ruined things. You know, things get said, things happen, you say,
- 27:26Speaker 5: getting a bit more selfish when you've got a few
- 27:27Speaker 5: beers under the belt. So I didn't want it to
- 27:29Speaker 5: go that way. So I'd made a commitment to my
- 27:31Speaker 5: wife that I wouldn't that i'd stay off the booze.
- 27:34Speaker 5: And then of course with Keesy was like, oh, well,
- 27:37Speaker 5: as if you know, bagging us, And I said, well,
- 27:39Speaker 5: you know, put your money where your mouth is, mate,
- 27:43Speaker 5: I beat your fifty bucks that I won't drink and
- 27:45Speaker 5: I won't smoke. And then Jay she also did the same,
- 27:47Speaker 5: did I, Well, you bet you fifty dollars that you
- 27:51Speaker 5: wouldn't vape over the weekend. So yeah, I mean, how
- 27:56Speaker 5: are you feeling about it?
- 27:56Speaker 7: CAZy?
- 27:57Speaker 5: Obviously there's been a few bets happening this year. I've
- 27:59Speaker 5: dominated you and those in the previous bet that we had.
- 28:03Speaker 5: You thought JAS could go a month without vaping?
- 28:05Speaker 3: Can I just reader? I didn't think Jason got a
- 28:07Speaker 3: month without vaping. I was trying to encourage him to.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I didn't think he could, ah right and lo and behold,
- 28:12Speaker 3: but you saying you could do it now, it was
- 28:15Speaker 3: just positive. It's all bullshit.
- 28:17Speaker 6: I struggle with that because, you know, I appreciated the
- 28:23Speaker 6: fact that Kesey was backing me, but I knew and
- 28:25Speaker 6: it's hard he didn't believe in me, and that's what
- 28:28Speaker 6: cost me in the end.
- 28:30Speaker 5: Well, that was the thing. And I could see that
- 28:31Speaker 5: happening from a mile away. Yes, and even now if
- 28:34Speaker 5: you just look at and obviously it's difficult for people
- 28:36Speaker 5: at home, but to paint a picture, Keyzy's body language
- 28:39Speaker 5: is terrible at the moment. He's defensive. He's got his
- 28:41Speaker 5: arms folded on his on his button up jacket. He
- 28:46Speaker 5: has got a real look in his face like he's
- 28:49Speaker 5: been sucking on lemons. He's not happy that he doesn't
- 28:53Speaker 5: like these situations. He stands to make himself a call
- 28:56Speaker 5: one hundred dollars on this bet, but look at him.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Well, the thing is, I just have learned not to
- 29:00Speaker 3: back especially Jace Mike. We've had bits. Yeah, you know,
- 29:04Speaker 3: and you'll once you make a bit you'll stick to it, yes, ah,
- 29:08Speaker 3: And I just wish that like Jason goes the other
- 29:11Speaker 3: way when once you make a bit boom, he crumbles
- 29:12Speaker 3: straight away.
- 29:13Speaker 5: That's right.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Well, Jason's got no willpower at all, no no willpower whatsoever.
- 29:18Speaker 6: Can I just reiterate here, by the way, it was
- 29:21Speaker 6: two weeks before I had a vape.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Wow, that's amazing.
- 29:24Speaker 6: So I didn't crumble right away?
- 29:26Speaker 3: Your your legend.
- 29:28Speaker 6: So what was the actual bit? Were you betting against
- 29:31Speaker 6: us doing that?
- 29:32Speaker 3: Kesy?
- 29:32Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 29:32Speaker 5: Well we were both saying that we would abstain, and
- 29:34Speaker 5: Kesey thought that we wouldn't.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I put fifty bucks down that you would vape.
- 29:39Speaker 6: Jace, God, then you're having a shocker on the bedting front.
- 29:42Speaker 3: So you did you not vape over the weekend?
- 29:44Speaker 6: You go first, Maggie.
- 29:46Speaker 5: Umm, Look, I smoked a peck um and I drank
- 29:50Speaker 5: a powerpis really well. Yeah, but the only reason I
- 29:53Speaker 5: did was because I wanted to. Yeah, and it was
- 29:56Speaker 5: my mate's fiftieth birthday. And when I told him that
- 29:59Speaker 5: I wasn't drinking. To see a fifty year old man
- 30:02Speaker 5: cry like you weep at a cob and coat, Yeah,
- 30:05Speaker 5: it was a pathetic.
- 30:07Speaker 3: It's not every day you're at Cobb and Coat, right.
- 30:08Speaker 5: So it's not every day you're at Cob and Coke,
- 30:10Speaker 5: you know, out there in the pokey room, just slapping away.
- 30:13Speaker 5: So yeah, well this is sorry man. So I aree
- 30:15Speaker 5: you fifty bucks?
- 30:16Speaker 3: Oh wow, thank you.
- 30:17Speaker 6: This is ironic because old Hoidy j stay completely clean
- 30:23Speaker 6: of the douche flute. So you owe me fifty keysy bullshit?
- 30:28Speaker 6: I want that is a lie.
- 30:29Speaker 3: You're lying. You're lying to the entire are you're lying
- 30:32Speaker 3: to me? You're lying?
- 30:34Speaker 10: Who would have.
- 30:36Speaker 6: Ying? Is that all you have to do? That is outrageous?
- 30:39Speaker 5: Sorry, I mean sorry, I mean I didn't drink or
- 30:42Speaker 5: smoke either, So you owe me fifty sorry?
- 30:45Speaker 7: Cool? All right?
- 30:46Speaker 9: Yes, The.

- 33:09Speaker 5: Is it hot?
- 33:10Speaker 6: It's nah No.
- 33:15Speaker 3: But I've got a weird habit whenever I go away
- 33:17Speaker 3: on holiday, which is it doesn't matter where we go.
- 33:21Speaker 3: If it's in New Zealand, you know we're going there
- 33:23Speaker 3: by car, I'll always take my own pillow. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 33:28Speaker 3: I always take my own pillow because I like any hotel, motel,
- 33:32Speaker 3: airbnb you stay at, the pillows are always garbage. Holiday
- 33:35Speaker 3: in holiday hotel, motel holiday inn. That always garbage. So
- 33:39Speaker 3: I take my pillow, which is one of those bamboo pillows.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Oh yeah, like the you know, the extra head support one.
- 33:46Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 33:46Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that's a bit of extra support. Do you
- 33:49Speaker 5: for that melon?
- 33:50Speaker 6: Well it's small's, isn't it, because you're carrying a lot
- 33:55Speaker 6: of weight there on the old face. Well yeah, I
- 34:00Speaker 6: don't think that's uncommon casey. I think people will probably
- 34:02Speaker 6: do a lot of that. I always take my sex wing.
- 34:06Speaker 6: You know, it's just a it's just a comfort thing
- 34:08Speaker 6: for me, you know what I mean. I might not
- 34:10Speaker 6: use it, right, but I it's good to know. It's
- 34:14Speaker 6: just knowing it's there. Yeah, if I were to need it,
- 34:18Speaker 6: do you take your pillow? Mogy m Well actually I have,
- 34:22Speaker 6: you have I have in my life.
- 34:23Speaker 5: But the trouble that I had was I kept on
- 34:26Speaker 5: forgetting it and so you know what I'm like with
- 34:29Speaker 5: my wallet, my keys, my phone, all of those things.
- 34:31Speaker 7: Family.
- 34:31Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I would just I'd always forget my pillow
- 34:36Speaker 5: and leave it at the hotels. That's the true story.
- 34:37Speaker 5: And so now I'm literally down. You know how when
- 34:39Speaker 5: your wife decorates your being and she's got eight thousand
- 34:41Speaker 5: pillows on it, yeah, and you're saying your wife's a
- 34:43Speaker 5: shocker for this, Keezy's not too.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Um.
- 34:46Speaker 5: I've got a couple of sort of those really flat
- 34:49Speaker 5: useless pillows that are only there to fill out the
- 34:51Speaker 5: pillow cases that you don't need. Yes, And then I've
- 34:54Speaker 5: got one of the bigger pillows. You know, it's a
- 34:56Speaker 5: big square bastard. So I'm having to use the big
- 34:58Speaker 5: square bars at the moment because I've lost all my
- 35:01Speaker 5: good pillows.
- 35:02Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Right, So I like what you're doing there, Chezy, but
- 35:04Speaker 5: I just I can't be trusted. You can't be trusted
- 35:06Speaker 5: with it?
- 35:06Speaker 6: Well yeah, and next you when I think about it,
- 35:10Speaker 6: I do do like if I'm going away for five
- 35:12Speaker 6: or six days?
- 35:13Speaker 7: Do do yea?
- 35:14Speaker 10: Um?
- 35:15Speaker 6: All often?
- 35:16Speaker 3: Well, I do it all the time. Now I'll take
- 35:18Speaker 3: like clean undies.
- 35:23Speaker 5: Will you do that? So five or six days, that's
- 35:25Speaker 5: when you'll take the clean undies?
- 35:27Speaker 6: Yeah? Right, two or three days?
- 35:28Speaker 3: You don't what you know what about you're at the
- 35:30Speaker 3: batch over the weekend.
- 35:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I didn't wash your take undies.
- 35:34Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 35:37Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodache.

- 35:58Speaker 3: It's happening August fourth, Cordoise Hotel up an Auckland fancy hotel.

- 36:15Speaker 5: Looking for a couple of backbones to come along with
- 36:17Speaker 5: us there, would you accept.
- 36:18Speaker 6: A couple of mad dogs? Ah?
- 36:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess.
- 36:21Speaker 6: So what about a couple of six sons of bees?
- 36:24Speaker 3: Yeah? I mean we're sort of straying further away from
- 36:26Speaker 3: what we're after, But yeah, I get, I mean, I guess,
- 36:28Speaker 3: so it is randomly drawn.
- 36:29Speaker 6: What about people that like to sort of keep to themselves.
- 36:34Speaker 3: No, if you are keen and you've got to mate
- 36:37Speaker 3: that can be keen as well Tikes Pie Awards to
- 36:39Speaker 3: three four eight three. You will get a spot at
- 36:42Speaker 3: the table with us. You'll also stay the night at
- 36:44Speaker 3: the Courts Hotel and have brecky provided as well.
- 36:46Speaker 5: Fellas, would you also accept a couple of punishers that
- 36:50Speaker 5: just get hammered, drunk and hang off Hoody jay z
- 36:53Speaker 5: is all night love that?
- 36:55Speaker 3: Yeah, good stuff.
- 36:57Speaker 6: We're going to be chatting about the pet cold shoulder.
- 37:00Speaker 6: It's phenomenon, fellas. Will you go away and then you
- 37:03Speaker 6: come back again and you've left your pets behind?
- 37:07Speaker 3: Nasty?
- 37:08Speaker 6: But in the meantime, here's you too.
- 37:10Speaker 1: The Whodiching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 37:13Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodiki.
- 37:16Speaker 6: You two there on the Big Show Breakfast this Monday morning.
- 37:19Speaker 6: The time is seven forty seven now, fellers obviously Marthadiki
- 37:23Speaker 6: weekend a lot of people went away, including myself. Um
- 37:27Speaker 6: and one of the conundrums when you go away is
- 37:30Speaker 6: if you have a pet and you think to yourself,
- 37:33Speaker 6: you know what am I going to do with my
- 37:34Speaker 6: pet while I'm away? I was very fortunate Pugson and
- 37:37Speaker 6: his lovely partner came and stayed at our joint and
- 37:39Speaker 6: looked after the place. And I wonder if other people
- 37:43Speaker 6: have experienced this. And it's when you go away and
- 37:46Speaker 6: you come back and basically your pet has got the
- 37:50Speaker 6: pet with you. I came home, for example, yesterday afternoon,
- 37:55Speaker 6: get in the door, and Jizz is on the couch,
- 37:58Speaker 6: your cat, Yes, Jude, And without a word of a lie,
- 38:05Speaker 6: this is what happened.
- 38:06Speaker 3: And I was like, ah, little Jizzy, and what you do?
- 38:09Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 38:10Speaker 5: Pardon is that what you do there?
- 38:11Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 38:12Speaker 3: I went, ah, little.
- 38:13Speaker 6: Jizzy And I walked over to her and she was
- 38:16Speaker 6: just lying on the sheepskin on the couch there, and
- 38:19Speaker 6: I gave her a little pat and she stood up,
- 38:23Speaker 6: jumped onto the floor and just strutted. You know, you
- 38:27Speaker 6: know when you get the vibe that people are really
- 38:29Speaker 6: seething or pissed off and they're holding it in. She
- 38:31Speaker 6: was doing that. She strutted through the lounge in the
- 38:35Speaker 6: kitchen into our bedroom and went and laid down on
- 38:38Speaker 6: the bed.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Didn't she brush past you and sort of knock shoulders
- 38:41Speaker 3: with you as well?
- 38:42Speaker 6: While she did actually go as she was going through
- 38:45Speaker 6: the kitchen, there were her food suffers. She did smack
- 38:47Speaker 6: a water bowl over. Yeah, and then go into our
- 38:50Speaker 6: bedroom and lay on the bed and just didn't come
- 38:53Speaker 6: out again.
- 38:54Speaker 5: I had a similar thing happening. We're obviously away for
- 38:56Speaker 5: the weekend too, but we couldn't get anybody in the
- 38:58Speaker 5: house that I was trying to get Pugson to come
- 39:01Speaker 5: over with his lovely partner, but you'd already booked them, Chase.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Yes, demand.
- 39:06Speaker 5: So what I ended up doing was getting because I've
- 39:08Speaker 5: got a cat as well, I've got a cat bird ship, Chris.
- 39:14Speaker 3: I just like to remind the audience both of these
- 39:16Speaker 3: cat names were chosen by you, the audience, Yes.
- 39:20Speaker 5: And so I had to get an electric cat feeder
- 39:23Speaker 5: because we had no other solutions for it, and pretty
- 39:26Speaker 5: you know, it's worrying. You know, you got a new,
- 39:28Speaker 5: a fairly new cat, six or seven months old, and
- 39:31Speaker 5: having to leave it at home, and it's very much
- 39:33Speaker 5: a people person. It's a ragged old breed, so we're
- 39:36Speaker 5: a little bit worried about leaving her alone. But yeah,
- 39:39Speaker 5: got the pet feeder. That made us feel better. And
- 39:42Speaker 5: then we came home acause and you're not sure what
- 39:44Speaker 5: you're going to get. But I've always had the experience
- 39:45Speaker 5: that you mentioned there, Jase, where the cats at fuman
- 39:48Speaker 5: with you a lot more than a dog ever would.
- 39:52Speaker 5: Dog's happy to see you. Yes, cat's not cat's human.
- 39:55Speaker 5: So anyway, we came home and this was weird. I've
- 39:57Speaker 5: never had this before. Came home and the cat budshit,
- 40:02Speaker 5: Chris was wearing my wife's lingerie and the house was
- 40:07Speaker 5: full of tom cats.
- 40:09Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, well, I mean.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Well, what are you saying. You're like, that's happened before
- 40:15Speaker 3: to you.
- 40:15Speaker 6: Oh yeah, totally. I mean it's the temptation is huge, obviously,
- 40:19Speaker 6: you know, you backbones have buggered.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Off and doing your own things, So I'm going to
- 40:23Speaker 3: do my own thing. Were the cats away?
- 40:25Speaker 5: Yeah, well, the cat's away is the same, but it's
- 40:28Speaker 5: actually when the humans were away, the cats the cats
- 40:31Speaker 5: will get the tom's around for an orgy.
- 40:34Speaker 6: I'll never forget. Actually, my wife and I went away
- 40:37Speaker 6: when we had our cat, Ginger, and she was lovely
- 40:40Speaker 6: and she was called Ginger because she was ginger. She
- 40:42Speaker 6: did and she is sadly, And we went away for
- 40:46Speaker 6: a couple of days and we had a feeder as well. Like,
- 40:49Speaker 6: you walk in the door and she's wearing one of
- 40:52Speaker 6: my wife's thongs.
- 40:57Speaker 3: I mean, how does how do your wife's clothes actually
- 41:01Speaker 3: fit your cat? It's a very personal question, sorry, fellas.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Here's the Killers, the whole Aching Big Show with Jason,
- 41:14Speaker 1: Mike and Kezy. Tune in week days at four on
- 41:17Speaker 1: Radio Hold I.
- 41:18Speaker 6: Can you'll welcome back your messive bones every time. Hope
- 41:23Speaker 6: You're it's weird, isn't it doing? Because my brain is
- 41:27Speaker 6: kind of shifting all over the place. I haven't quite
- 41:30Speaker 6: settled into the zone yet.
- 41:31Speaker 7: Do you know what I mean?
- 41:32Speaker 6: Fellas? Now I've been smashing it. Are you smashing at
- 41:39Speaker 6: New Zealand Texas? Three four eight three? How are you
- 41:41Speaker 6: finding your Monday morning after the long weekend? You are,
- 41:44Speaker 6: by the way, listening to the Big Show Breakfast incidentally
- 41:47Speaker 6: brought to you by Bunnings Trade build Big.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Rewards with new power Pass Pro rewards by Bunnings have
- 41:55Speaker 3: been doing some digging, fellows. So power Pass has been
- 41:58Speaker 3: a loyalty program. It's been around for quite a while now,
- 42:00Speaker 3: for ties a few decades, I believe. Well a couple
- 42:03Speaker 3: of least power Pass Pro rewards will now include fuel
- 42:07Speaker 3: and mobile phone discounts and a few other things as well.
- 42:10Speaker 5: Oh good, I've got a power Pass I'm using I
- 42:12Speaker 5: use it all the time, probably every day. Yes, that's
- 42:15Speaker 5: great news for me. The pro is it, Keezy, I'll
- 42:17Speaker 5: make a note of that.
- 42:18Speaker 3: The pro you've actually written it down.
- 42:20Speaker 5: I'm going to write pro there.
- 42:21Speaker 6: Cool Hey, Now listen, it's been a massive sporting weekend.
- 42:26Speaker 6: With that in mine, we've got a couple of guests
- 42:27Speaker 6: coming up. First and foremost is going to be our
- 42:30Speaker 6: old mate Charlie Gubb, ex Warrior. We're going to be
- 42:33Speaker 6: talking the Wahs Fellers, what what are weekend for the boys?
- 42:39Speaker 6: Who'd we take on the Tigers? But in the meantime,
- 42:42Speaker 6: here's Pearl jam.
- 42:43Speaker 1: The Darkey Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 42:46Speaker 6: Tune in four on Radio pel Jam there on the
- 42:50Speaker 6: Big Show Breakfast this Monday morning. The time is nine
- 42:54Speaker 6: minutes past eight o'clock and obviously over the weekend a
- 42:56Speaker 6: bit of munk the league happened. With that in mind,
- 42:59Speaker 6: we've got rugby league legend and next Warrior Charlie Gab
- 43:02Speaker 6: on the line.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Get it Charlie a mad bars and how's life life Scired?
- 43:06Speaker 7: Good morning ladies.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Morning Charlie. Hey, just before we talk some rugby league man,
- 43:11Speaker 3: what's on the agenda this morning? For Porter king Down
- 43:13Speaker 3: and Wellington.
- 43:15Speaker 7: I've at an early start driving back from Auckland, so
- 43:17Speaker 7: I stopped and too dongey for the call, and just
- 43:21Speaker 7: trying to eat healthy on the way down, you know,
- 43:23Speaker 7: so I'm not feeling to sluggers.
- 43:24Speaker 6: And yeah the things are you getting in your Charlie.
- 43:29Speaker 7: Coffee? Just healthy stuff, you know, like lasagna.
- 43:36Speaker 3: I love on your top as they caught on Blues,
- 43:38Speaker 3: what were you in Auckland for, Charlie.
- 43:41Speaker 7: Just boring stuff, visiting finner.
- 43:43Speaker 6: Ah, let's get to the warriors, mate, VI the Tigers
- 43:49Speaker 6: obviously in their home territory. Great victory for the fellas,
- 43:55Speaker 6: but a slightly loose performance.
- 43:57Speaker 7: Maybe there was a few eras, but I was I
- 44:01Speaker 7: don't know. I was pumped watching that scene Fisher Harris
- 44:04Speaker 7: back and the way they started, you know, when Fisher
- 44:07Speaker 7: Harris scored and he shouted in lew Eye's face up, Yeah,
- 44:11Speaker 7: the Fellers are on and we just fully dominated them
- 44:14Speaker 7: for about thirty minutes and then and then we pushed
- 44:17Speaker 7: a few too many passes and Tigers looked dangerous for
- 44:19Speaker 7: ten minutes and apart from that ten minute spell, Tigers
- 44:23Speaker 7: never were really in it. We probably could have put
- 44:27Speaker 7: you know, fifty plus on them, but we didn't. But
- 44:29Speaker 7: I thought we were super dominant anyway. But yeah, we're
- 44:33Speaker 7: still lacking a bit of class and it didn't help.
- 44:35Speaker 7: We're going up in fours instead of sixers.
- 44:38Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly, nice to have.
- 44:40Speaker 5: Nice to have some of our main artillery back, Charlie,
- 44:43Speaker 5: and it sort of feels like if we get get
- 44:45Speaker 5: a few more players back over the coming weeks, we're
- 44:47Speaker 5: going to be a real force at the.
- 44:48Speaker 6: Back end of the season.
- 44:50Speaker 5: You know, we are leading the league in their completion
- 44:52Speaker 5: rates but played at seventy four percent to the Tigers
- 44:57Speaker 5: eighty four percent, which made for I haven't eft and
- 44:59Speaker 5: Jeff at the TV for a while, but drop ball,
- 45:02Speaker 5: because I guess we've been spoiled.
- 45:04Speaker 7: Mate.
- 45:05Speaker 5: We've been going so bloody good in that area.
- 45:07Speaker 7: Yeah it's true. It's true. We're not used to seeing it,
- 45:10Speaker 7: but we did defend those areas, you know, and Tigers
- 45:13Speaker 7: were never really just camped down our line for long
- 45:15Speaker 7: periods of time and scoring tries. But still we were
- 45:18Speaker 7: getting the ball back and you know, we'll be thirty
- 45:20Speaker 7: out from our own line and then shifting it where
- 45:22Speaker 7: I don't know if the boys were just really rolling
- 45:24Speaker 7: through the metal every time Alasma got the boy looks
- 45:27Speaker 7: super dangerous and Jacob Laban was just going for like
- 45:30Speaker 7: a heart and night through whatever that goes through, right
- 45:33Speaker 7: am I?
- 45:33Speaker 10: Right? Yeah?
- 45:36Speaker 6: Marjarine yep.
- 45:41Speaker 7: Away from plastic Yeah yummy.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Though, Hey, Charlie, how much of a luxury is it
- 45:46Speaker 3: for us to have a class player like to Mighty Martin?
- 45:49Speaker 3: You know, he's obviously filling in for a ton of
- 45:51Speaker 3: board was our first choice in the halves there, but
- 45:54Speaker 3: he just looks he is just a top level player
- 45:57Speaker 3: who was essentially our backup at the moment he's playing extraordinarily.
- 46:00Speaker 7: Well, yeah, he's the man. He's a man, and Mogi's
- 46:03Speaker 7: always been a big fan of to Mighty Martin. But
- 46:07Speaker 7: it definitely helps being a half when your Ford pack's
- 46:10Speaker 7: going forward the way we go forward. Yeah, true, I
- 46:12Speaker 7: think a positive as like regardless of if Metcalf comes
- 46:17Speaker 7: back and or to Mighty Martin stays there, they're gonna
- 46:20Speaker 7: go well but yeah, I'm a big fan.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Yeah, And Charlie, before we let you go this morning, mate,
- 46:26Speaker 3: who is your porter king player of the round?
- 46:29Speaker 7: Well, just as we predicted last week, ke, I'm giving
- 46:31Speaker 7: it to mister.
- 46:33Speaker 3: Laban, Jacob Laban, Yeah he was great. What did you
- 46:37Speaker 3: like about him? Jason?
- 46:38Speaker 5: Just as go forward years go forward was good, Jason
- 46:42Speaker 5: spot on the mate. Thanks mate, Thank you so much.
- 46:45Speaker 9: Charlie.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Good luck with the rest of the roach of home mate.
- 46:48Speaker 7: Thanks fellas. Yeah, let's yeah start the week with a bang. Yeah?
- 46:52Speaker 6: How you Yeah? Totally yeah, just totally. Why are you?
- 46:57Speaker 5: Are you behind the wheel Chawlie or are you a passenger?
- 47:00Speaker 7: Now? I'm I'm a behind the wheel guy, but I'm
- 47:02Speaker 7: a real crazy guy. I get frustrated when people will
- 47:04Speaker 7: overtake me.
- 47:05Speaker 6: Yeah, I bet yeah. Who else you got in the
- 47:07Speaker 6: cow with you?
- 47:09Speaker 7: Three kids and a lovely partner wife.
- 47:12Speaker 5: I'll tell you what great way to pass the time
- 47:14Speaker 5: is getting the kids through brown eyes out the window.
- 47:17Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, yeah, maybe get a bit of a get
- 47:20Speaker 7: a roady when they're sleeping.
- 47:22Speaker 6: One hundred percent.
- 47:23Speaker 3: Charlie, thanks so much for joining us about you have
- 47:25Speaker 3: a good week, mate, and don't forget if you're ever
- 47:28Speaker 3: in the Wellington area and you need a portaloo, head up,
- 47:30Speaker 3: Porter King and Uncle Charlie will sort you out.
- 47:33Speaker 1: The whole acting Big show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 47:36Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Hold it's

- 47:49Speaker 6: Yes, indeed, do you want to win some cash New
- 47:52Speaker 6: Zealand then call us on our eight hundred Hodache I
- 47:54Speaker 6: tell you who did do that? Anka from Wellington get

- 48:01Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 48:02Speaker 7: Good?
- 48:02Speaker 6: Thank you?
- 48:02Speaker 10: How are you?

- 48:13Speaker 6: Oh yeah, very nice.
- 48:16Speaker 7: Nice?
- 48:16Speaker 6: And what do you do for a crust there? Anika?
- 48:19Speaker 4: I'm a kindergutten teacher.
- 48:24Speaker 6: You know, just before you came on the air there
- 48:26Speaker 6: it sounded like you might have been screaming at your kids.
- 48:28Speaker 5: Is that what was happening?
- 48:29Speaker 7: That's exactly what I was doing.
- 48:31Speaker 6: Yeah, good stuff. Well you got to do that with kids,
- 48:34Speaker 6: don't especially I mean with kindergarten teacher. You know, you
- 48:37Speaker 6: gotta raise your voice every now and then let them
- 48:39Speaker 6: know who's the boss, just to calm down.
- 48:41Speaker 15: Yeah, keep them in line, keep them in line.
- 48:43Speaker 6: Yes, Heyka, can you sort your kids?
- 48:48Speaker 8: Man?
- 48:50Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 48:50Speaker 13: Sorry?
- 48:51Speaker 3: What's your favorite pie? Anika? Second cheese. Standy, you're standy,
- 48:58Speaker 3: that's bloody good.
- 48:59Speaker 6: Tell me Annika. Would two hundred and fifty dollars cash
- 49:02Speaker 6: be handy?
- 49:03Speaker 3: It would be lovely? Shall we do it? Yeah? Okay,
- 49:06Speaker 3: let's give Anaka two and fifty dollars cash thanks to
- 49:08Speaker 3: Dad's Pie.
- 49:10Speaker 6: So much nor no worries Dad's Pie.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Just one Anaka. You hold the line, Pukstan will mail
- 49:17Speaker 3: you that cash in an envelope.
- 49:18Speaker 6: Right, lovely sounds great, beautiful?
- 49:23Speaker 3: How you fellers? We've got twenty grand up for grabs
- 49:25Speaker 3: this month through, not even halfway through the month. Man,
- 49:27Speaker 3: so much more cash?
- 49:29Speaker 6: Ah, that's just crazy stuff.
- 49:30Speaker 3: And you know what us is crazy? There's a serious
- 49:32Speaker 3: amount of pride baked into every Dad's pie.
- 49:35Speaker 5: Is that true? Or is that just some kind of
- 49:36Speaker 5: line they're giving us?
- 49:37Speaker 3: Well, no, I wouldn't just randomly read out a line
- 49:39Speaker 3: like that.
- 49:40Speaker 6: Where do you get sort of a big bag of pride?
- 49:44Speaker 3: Well, I don't know. I guess it's a secret company secret.
- 49:47Speaker 6: Oh yeah yeah.
- 49:48Speaker 3: I did ask them, and all they told me was
- 49:50Speaker 3: their Dad's Pies proudly bakes award winning pies for pie
- 49:52Speaker 3: loving New Zealanders. And I was like, well, that doesn't
- 49:55Speaker 3: really answer my question.
- 49:55Speaker 6: No, not at all. Yeah, who did you ask?
- 50:00Speaker 7: Bad?
- 50:00Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 50:00Speaker 3: Yeah, right, I called Dad but he was there. But
- 50:03Speaker 3: marm Mart said, oh yeah, and she was like, I
- 50:04Speaker 3: can't tell you.
- 50:05Speaker 5: Yeah, she's a shock.
- 50:06Speaker 3: But what I can say is is a serious amount
- 50:08Speaker 3: of pride backed into every Dad pie.
- 50:10Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 50:10Speaker 6: Man, So and you can taste it too, can't you,
- 50:12Speaker 6: fellow the pride? Oh yeah yeah?
- 50:14Speaker 3: What does pride taste like? Sweet and spicy and savory?
- 50:20Speaker 6: Here's Allison James the Darchy.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Big show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy. Tune in Dad
- 50:27Speaker 1: four on Radio Houcky.
- 50:35Speaker 9: Sport Worries un.
- 50:39Speaker 11: It is eight thirty two Time for your latest sport
- 50:41Speaker 11: headlines thanks to Export Ultra the bear for here. The
- 50:44Speaker 11: Basball era of English Test cricket is officially over. Brendan
- 50:49Speaker 11: McCallum has been dumped as England's red Bull coach following
- 50:52Speaker 11: a string of poor results and several off field incidents.
- 50:56Speaker 5: You're saying off here, brin that you're gutted about that.
- 50:59Speaker 5: What's your favorite Brenda McCallum memory? Would you say? Oh?
- 51:03Speaker 11: There are too many, too many?
- 51:05Speaker 3: If you had to choose, if you had to choose one.
- 51:07Speaker 9: Just one?
- 51:08Speaker 11: Oh, probably that one a few years back?
- 51:10Speaker 6: Remember that?
- 51:10Speaker 11: Yeah, that was a good time.
- 51:12Speaker 5: True that brother, Yeah, you're not You're not talking about
- 51:16Speaker 5: when we got beaten at the twenty nineteen One Day Will.
- 51:20Speaker 11: Capin Stelling moment, stelling moment, that one.
- 51:22Speaker 6: Yeah us losing?
- 51:23Speaker 3: Yeah, loved it?
- 51:25Speaker 11: Bloody good?
- 51:26Speaker 3: Should I move on?
- 51:27Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 51:27Speaker 7: Go on?
- 51:27Speaker 11: Then a second straight Wimbledon tennis title for Yarnick Sinner.
- 51:31Speaker 11: The Italian world number one, has out drilled second seed
- 51:35Speaker 11: Alexanders Variev in a four set final.
- 51:38Speaker 6: Did you watch that, moge I did?
- 51:40Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 51:40Speaker 6: It was a hell of a game.
- 51:41Speaker 5: There would have been a few things that I would
- 51:43Speaker 5: have done differently had I still been coaching. But obviously
- 51:47Speaker 5: he's made his bed. He's going to have to lie
- 51:48Speaker 5: on it.
- 51:49Speaker 6: Sinner is the most unlikely looking tennis player you'll ever
- 51:53Speaker 6: sort of look at. But he's brilliant.
- 51:55Speaker 9: Brilliant?
- 51:56Speaker 7: Was he?
- 51:57Speaker 9: Yes?
- 52:00Speaker 11: Some great analysis there can we Matt Pain has Matt
- 52:04Speaker 11: Pain has extended his Supercars championship lead after a standout
- 52:09Speaker 11: weekend in Townsville Supercars. He stood on the podium for
- 52:14Speaker 11: all three races, including a win in the middle event.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Bloody good, that's good stuff fells.
- 52:19Speaker 11: The middle event? Yeah, what's that consists of brin? That's
- 52:23Speaker 11: the second event because I think I think there's three.
- 52:26Speaker 3: Yeah. They call it the sandwich.
- 52:28Speaker 7: I do that?
- 52:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, why because it's in the middle.
- 52:31Speaker 5: The sandwich isn't in the middle.
- 52:32Speaker 3: They call the filling and they call it.
- 52:35Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that's what I mean.
- 52:36Speaker 3: They call the weekend as a whole, or the meat
- 52:38Speaker 3: the sandwich. They call the meat. They call it the
- 52:40Speaker 3: meat sandwich as the meat.
- 52:45Speaker 9: Ds.
- 52:48Speaker 3: Oh, okay, take it away, b when you're ready.
- 52:51Speaker 6: You I'm already keen on this because I love you
- 52:52Speaker 6: and I've got a bit of stock, and so what
- 52:54Speaker 6: have you got stocks in?
- 52:56Speaker 3: Well, there's none of your business. Rem markt update m.
- 53:01Speaker 11: Look, things are bad out there. They're only going to
- 53:03Speaker 11: get worse, is my quick analysis of that.
- 53:06Speaker 3: Yep, fair enough the straight up for moves.
- 53:08Speaker 11: Is it open or is it closed?
- 53:09Speaker 6: It's closed?
- 53:11Speaker 11: Is it thank you for or is it or is
- 53:14Speaker 11: it or is it?
- 53:16Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 53:17Speaker 11: Market update there thanks to export Ultra the bear for here.
- 53:20Speaker 6: Thanks Bred, good on you, mate. Hey here's Audio Slaves.
- 53:25Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 53:29Speaker 6: Audio Slave there on the Big show Breakfast this Monday morning.
- 53:33Speaker 6: I hope you're coping New Zealand after the long weekend
- 53:36Speaker 6: and being back at work. Incidentally, the time is twenty
- 53:39Speaker 6: minutes to nine o'clock. Fellas.
- 53:41Speaker 3: Something happened last night. It's got me worried a bit
- 53:44Speaker 3: about my relationship.
- 53:45Speaker 5: Oh God, seeing there's not another one. Well, well, it's
- 53:49Speaker 5: nothing bad, I will be it's pretty chill.
- 53:53Speaker 3: Last night my wife and I were watching Grand Designs
- 53:56Speaker 3: UK and there was a moment there where the UK
- 54:00Speaker 3: couple are trying to turn this dilapidated old Victorian barn
- 54:04Speaker 3: into a house that still retains its original heritage, you know,
- 54:08Speaker 3: so it's not so much like a restoration, it's like
- 54:11Speaker 3: a revamp, but still very much keeping in mind it's
- 54:14Speaker 3: Victorian roots. While that's happening, they've got this big scaffold
- 54:20Speaker 3: set up and the bloke part of the couple, which
- 54:23Speaker 3: is a man and a woman, old mate, old mate,
- 54:25Speaker 3: let's call him old mate. Old Mate, has set up
- 54:28Speaker 3: this big scaffold and he's up there and I would
- 54:29Speaker 3: say four stories high, like it's a high barn. He's
- 54:32Speaker 3: right at the top of the pinnacle of the roof.
- 54:36Speaker 3: There horses would fit in a four story barn.
- 54:38Speaker 5: Kesy that's a huge horse double decker ones hole getting
- 54:42Speaker 5: them up there.
- 54:44Speaker 3: So anyway, he's up the very top and he's trying
- 54:47Speaker 3: to take off the cladding because it's rotten it needs
- 54:49Speaker 3: to be replaced. And as he's up there, he starts
- 54:53Speaker 3: to get a bit woozy because of the height, and
- 54:56Speaker 3: he looks down and his wife was one rung below
- 54:59Speaker 3: him on the scaffold there, and he looks down goes, oh, geez,
- 55:05Speaker 3: and then has to lie down on the top of
- 55:07Speaker 3: the scaffold while his wife is underneath going oh, you're okay,
- 55:11Speaker 3: just just take time out, and then he goes, oh,
- 55:13Speaker 3: I might have to just come down, need a minute.
- 55:16Speaker 3: And then my wife said out loud, wow, that massively
- 55:19Speaker 3: gave me the ick. But I was like, what that
- 55:22Speaker 3: guy being terrified of heights. She's like yeah, And so
- 55:25Speaker 3: then I'm like, what great, So now I can't be
- 55:26Speaker 3: scared of heights because it'll give my wife.
- 55:28Speaker 6: The ICKI which you are incidentally terrified of heights.
- 55:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you get all woozy. You're not very good on
- 55:35Speaker 3: the ground either. Yeah, I'm terrified of being on the ground. Yes,
- 55:39Speaker 3: my optimal spot would be like just a couple of
- 55:42Speaker 3: feet below the ground.
- 55:44Speaker 5: Well, you're optimal place kezy is on all fours looking
- 55:46Speaker 5: over your shoulder. Well that's why I do it, Yes, because.
- 55:49Speaker 6: You're scared of animals and stuff as well. You know
- 55:52Speaker 6: you say, when you're going for walks and you see
- 55:54Speaker 6: your dog, you're like, oh.
- 55:57Speaker 3: It's because it's a weird aalkland and all the dogs
- 55:59Speaker 3: are rot with right, Okay, but so I guess my
- 56:02Speaker 3: thing is now I have to hide the fact that
- 56:04Speaker 3: I'm terrified of heights. And every time my wife turns
- 56:06Speaker 3: around and I'm down on all fours.
- 56:07Speaker 6: Be like, oh, I'm just looking for lost my thingy thing.
- 56:11Speaker 5: I just lost my thing down here looking for it.
- 56:12Speaker 5: You know, Well, there must be plenty of things that
- 56:15Speaker 5: give you the ech about here. Why don't you just
- 56:17Speaker 5: start dropping a few of those around the around the joint,
- 56:20Speaker 5: you know, just giving hear somebody to think about.
- 56:22Speaker 3: Well, I don't know if she nothing she does does
- 56:24Speaker 3: now it doesn't have to you just make it. You're
- 56:27Speaker 3: just trying to get into a here to make you think.
- 56:29Speaker 8: Right.
- 56:29Speaker 6: Oh God, I tell you one thing, you'll find that
- 56:32Speaker 6: if you've got no criticisms of your wife.
- 56:35Speaker 3: They find that a bit of key.
- 56:36Speaker 6: Yeah, you know what I mean. They go, oh, he's
- 56:37Speaker 6: a bit clingy, especially when you're scared of everything and
- 56:40Speaker 6: you you know, forever holding on and you know, go,
- 56:43Speaker 6: so I should have X of his totally totally. You've
- 56:49Speaker 6: got to.
- 56:50Speaker 5: You've got to give them a reason to think. And
- 56:52Speaker 5: this is what whatdy Jane and I have done all
- 56:54Speaker 5: the way through. That's why we've been so happily married
- 56:56Speaker 5: for such a long period of time. Yes, you've got
- 56:58Speaker 5: to make them think there's a chance that you're going
- 56:59Speaker 5: to leave. Absolutely, so you've got to give them. You've
- 57:03Speaker 5: got to, you know, I say, oh god, you're not
- 57:05Speaker 5: doing that again? How you giving me the jez the
- 57:07Speaker 5: old Yeah, that's right. What would be some of the
- 57:10Speaker 5: things that you could say?
- 57:11Speaker 6: Just anything?
- 57:13Speaker 3: I guess she's scared of the darker wee bit.
- 57:17Speaker 6: Is that because you you're constantly telling the lights off
- 57:20Speaker 6: if you don't like it.
- 57:21Speaker 3: You're saying you nude, because.
- 57:24Speaker 6: Which is.
- 57:27Speaker 3: The true story?
- 57:28Speaker 6: You don't you don't like people's your wife's saying you
- 57:31Speaker 6: knew because it sort of freaks.
- 57:33Speaker 9: You out a bit.
- 57:33Speaker 6: No, Jace, you are retelling it.
- 57:35Speaker 3: You are retelling it. Yeah, and Mike is saying that's
- 57:38Speaker 3: a true story, but it's not a true story. I
- 57:41Speaker 3: would just.
- 57:41Speaker 6: Prefer because I tell you what that gives me. And
- 57:44Speaker 6: I'm not even.
- 57:47Speaker 1: The whole achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 57:50Speaker 1: Tune in week days and four on Radio.
- 57:52Speaker 6: Hold I Green Day there on the Big Show Breakfast.
- 57:55Speaker 6: But right now it's time for chat.
- 57:58Speaker 3: With acc head Lane brought you by Export Ultra the.
- 58:03Speaker 6: Beer for him.
- 58:08Speaker 15: Yeah, I did get rid of the kazoos in the
- 58:11Speaker 15: last introsting, but this is good Benny Hill.
- 58:15Speaker 6: I'll take Benny Hill gee lame. Let's talk about as
- 58:18Speaker 6: sport action. The Abs over the weekend against the Italians
- 58:22Speaker 6: a muddled, annoying performance. There was that twenty minute golden
- 58:25Speaker 6: period after halftime and then they kind of shat the
- 58:28Speaker 6: beard again.
- 58:29Speaker 15: You thought, oh, I don't know, that's a typical New
- 58:31Speaker 15: Zealand rugby fans type attitude to that. I think you've
- 58:34Speaker 15: got to give credit to Italy in that first half.
- 58:37Speaker 15: They absolutely they defended magnificently. Where'd Lima Suppewanga on the
- 58:41Speaker 15: commentary on Saturday he would have a I mean they
- 58:44Speaker 15: will do with all blacks. He said, most teams they
- 58:47Speaker 15: play well beyond their means. When they play the All Blacks,
- 58:50Speaker 15: it's always a special occasion. And you could see that
- 58:52Speaker 15: with the Italians in that first half. They threw everything
- 58:55Speaker 15: at the All Blacks and they were head fourteen ten
- 58:57Speaker 15: and a half time the All Blacks. But you'd say
- 58:59Speaker 15: the Italians probably had the rub of the green in
- 59:01Speaker 15: that first half, but that first fifteen minutes in the
- 59:03Speaker 15: second half they.
- 59:03Speaker 3: Blew them away.
- 59:04Speaker 6: Blew them away.
- 59:05Speaker 15: Will Jordan getting the record off Dougie Howett, that was amazing.
- 59:08Speaker 15: Crowd was actually pretty good down and Wellie, they're pretty vocal.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Yeah, well, you guys were commentating from it at the stadium, right, yeah, yeah,
- 59:16Speaker 3: so the vibe was good. Yeah, it was good.
- 59:17Speaker 15: I mean there was a time there an Italian got
- 59:19Speaker 15: injured for a while there and there was about ten
- 59:21Speaker 15: minute break and the DJ whipped them into an absolute
- 59:24Speaker 15: frenzy with all sorts of sing along songs.
- 59:27Speaker 5: But yeah, well, my cousin took his American wife to
- 59:30Speaker 5: her first All Blacks game and he was saying that,
- 59:34Speaker 5: you know, while that player was, you know, getting taken
- 59:37Speaker 5: off by an ambulance on a stretching city, was quite
- 59:40Speaker 5: torn between the serious injury that it had occurred and
- 59:44Speaker 5: also the opportunity to sing along to Sweet Caroline.
- 59:48Speaker 6: Was it was a bit like that.
- 59:49Speaker 15: It was the carnival atmosphere while a gentleman was being
- 59:52Speaker 15: taken off with a serious spinal injury.
- 59:54Speaker 6: Yes, but listen, in all seriousness, there's still a work
- 59:58Speaker 6: in progress obviously any days, Dave Rennie and that s
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: the second half of the second half was Evan and
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: jeffin in the box there. He was not like Sa Titi,
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: great player, great play, dropped the ball five times and.
- 1:00:10Speaker 15: That man, yeah, side titty didn't have a great match.
- 1:00:12Speaker 15: His hands said, you did have some describe them as
- 1:00:14Speaker 15: having side titties for hands.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Which he did have for a little bit.
- 1:00:18Speaker 15: Look this it's a hay second game this weekend is
- 1:00:21Speaker 15: Island and this is going to be a big game
- 1:00:23Speaker 15: at at Eden Park. But it was a five o'clock
- 1:00:25Speaker 15: kickoff and Wellington actually pretty good foresight from New Zealand rugby.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: Heaps of kids there.
- 1:00:32Speaker 15: It was probably about twenty percent kids having a whale
- 1:00:34Speaker 15: of a time.
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: So it was good.
- 1:00:35Speaker 15: It was it was just what Wellington needed.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: Actually great stuff. Now listen and oh yes, kezy you go, Jason.
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: I was going to say another massive news old McCallum yep,
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: thrown out. Yeah, see you later, b Mat, you're on
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: your way.
- 1:00:50Speaker 15: Yeah, there's another victim of the whole Stokes drama. He
- 1:00:53Speaker 15: has gone from being coach of the Test match team
- 1:00:55Speaker 15: only so he's still coach of T twenty and one
- 1:00:58Speaker 15: day as in England and I met. Since his contract's
- 1:01:01Speaker 15: got two years to run that they've said, hey, can
- 1:01:03Speaker 15: you step down from the Test just to give us,
- 1:01:06Speaker 15: you know.
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: Just save a bit of face for us.
- 1:01:07Speaker 15: We'll pay you exactly the same, which has roomened to
- 1:01:09Speaker 15: be a million pounds a year. Oh so you're talking
- 1:01:11Speaker 15: about two and a half millions on a year. Yeah,
- 1:01:14Speaker 15: So just maybe just do the white ball stuff and
- 1:01:16Speaker 15: just you know, be kind of be humble about how
- 1:01:19Speaker 15: you've hit a privilege of that. We'll still pay the same.
- 1:01:21Speaker 15: Just do the white ball sounds good to me. And
- 1:01:23Speaker 15: he's gone. Yeah, but Tim Southy and Jee and Patel,
- 1:01:27Speaker 15: they'll be the backroom staff that have been there for
- 1:01:29Speaker 15: a while. He likes to get the Keiwis around him
- 1:01:31Speaker 15: who like drinking red wine and playing golf.
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: They'll be nervous. Yeah, I imagine they've got contracts as well,
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: so they'll have to be paid out too. But yeah,
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: I think I think McCallum had a bloody good run.
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: I mean he changed the face of Test cricket for
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: a period. There's certainly English Test cricket a lot of
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: bagging him, which I'm not quite sure. God, they've got
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: short memories those former players that that team was an
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: absolute basket case, having won one of seventeen, then become
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: comes and they were nine of their next ten. How
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: short the memories are, oh.
- 1:01:59Speaker 15: Man Gomery Burns Nasa who sang it's one of the
- 1:02:02Speaker 15: most annoying former players listen too, because he just swings,
- 1:02:06Speaker 15: he goes. Two years ago they were the savior of
- 1:02:08Speaker 15: not only England cricket but World cricket, and all of
- 1:02:11Speaker 15: a sudden in two year space, they are the worst
- 1:02:14Speaker 15: thing it's ever happened to English cricket.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Just on that front.
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: I saw a little interview with Jeff Boycott I'm talking
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: about but seriously, I that, ah, here we go, you
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: know he's going to bag him. But he was actually
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: quite supportive and he was saying exactly that he was saying.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: Let's just remember how he brought this team from nowhere
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: and they were terrible and then they won all those
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: test matches.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: So we've got short memories.
- 1:02:35Speaker 15: Here and how poetic that it's New Zealand to finish
- 1:02:38Speaker 15: bears Ball as well. They started with us, remember.
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: They started, gave us three nil hiding recollection WRECT and life.
- 1:02:46Speaker 15: Has gone full circle and we've ended Bears Ball. I mean,
- 1:02:48Speaker 15: look like I said here a few weeks ago, I
- 1:02:50Speaker 15: think Australia they killed bears Ball. We just signed the
- 1:02:53Speaker 15: death certificate in.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: That test series.
- 1:02:55Speaker 15: But it was that's been great and Bears come home
- 1:02:57Speaker 15: and coach New Zealand please.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: Yeah keep that gelane. Are you guys doing another acc
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: built up style situation for the game this weekend Eden Park?
- 1:03:05Speaker 15: Yeah, we're going to be around Kingsland area, around the
- 1:03:07Speaker 15: Kingsland before the game this weekend kicks off at seven
- 1:03:10Speaker 15: o'clock at Eaton Park. Is going to be a cracker
- 1:03:12Speaker 15: Oak in Island. It's the new big rivalry.
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: Yeah, buddy good, it's always.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: Niggli as well.
- 1:03:17Speaker 15: These teams, don't we like each other that much? So
- 1:03:19Speaker 15: that that's going to be a good one.
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: And that'll be broadcast live on Hodarkey and iHeartRadio. Yeah
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: it will be.
- 1:03:23Speaker 15: There be a few bsas I think because Anton Segna
- 1:03:26Speaker 15: got given a very controversial nickname in the weekend O
- 1:03:29Speaker 15: God Anton Saw.
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: But we look we moved on from that week. We
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: shut that down.
- 1:03:34Speaker 15: We shut it down immediately.
- 1:03:36Speaker 9: Good stuff.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: Speaking of thanks, gu Lane Fair Mat.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: The hold Aking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Holds.
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: Indeed aren't monkeys there on the Big Show Breakfast. But
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: right now it's time for what's on the Telly with
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: Mike Minogue.
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: Yeah, fellas.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: Last night I watched a stand up show on Netflix.
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: There Special, It's a special jeff A Curie. Nice to
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: meet you are Curry.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: Could he?
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: He's an American stand up comedian and I came across
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: from on Instagram. He does a lot of crowd work,
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: very very funny dude, very huge, huge following just from
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: doing crowd work. And it's quite triggy with crowd work
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: stuff because it's easy, right, you just use that to
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: get your social following going, because you can do that
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: every single time you do a show. Just checks on
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: the gap, whereas actually working a bit out takes weeks
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: and weeks and month's craft. But you have to feed
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: the you have to feed the bees.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: He is the best in the business at CrowdWork. Just
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: a really keys of Your wife would love him. Very
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: very funny, lovely, genuine, but brilliant and very very quick.
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: So this is his first ever special. He does it
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: in the rowdy, interacts a lot with the audience, but
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: he does it as part of his one hour show,
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: so he's not using them as entirely for all of
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: his material. Bloody good. Not as good as just the
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: pure crowdweek stuff, but very very good. I'll give it
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: three and a half buzzies. It's brand new and I
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: recommend that you follow him on on Instagram as well.
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: Three and a half busies. It's jeff A. Curry and
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: it's on Netflix.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: Good stuff. Ogie.
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: I watched a movie last night on Samsung TV, Shark
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: to Puss, Shark to Puss, Shark to Puss.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: Is it an octopus that's got eight sharks instead of arms?
- 1:05:40Speaker 10: Ah?
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a shark that's got eight fins.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: It's half shark and half octopus. What half the head
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: is shark?
- 1:05:51Speaker 10: Oh?
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: And it's got arms like an octopus.
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: Tentacles. Yeah right. A US Navy Commissions Group No and
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: his Blue Water creates a half shark half octopus creature
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: through genetic engineering. But their experiment causes chaos when the
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: creature starts attacking people. Five buzzies.
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: What did they crate five buzzies? What did they create
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: it for? If not to attack people? What was it
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: designed for?
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: What it is meant to be? I think from I
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: was wasn't really paying attention to the storyline.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: You go, five buzzies all the way to the bank.
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: I see IMDb has given it like two point one
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: out of ten, which is harsh.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Absolutely change. It was the perfect end to my holiday.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: You were saying, Shark topus. You were saying that all
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: the scientists and that were wearing for some reason, bikinis.
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: Yes, they had this great character who was a radio
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: DJ on a boat, and he was a pissy head
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: and he wore Hawaiian shirts. And his assistants, who you know,
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: pugs roll Ye say she wore a beautiful bikini throughout
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: the entire performance. So I suggested to pugsn that he
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: might like to follow suit.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: Well, he's more of a wive.
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: Pussies all the way to the bank.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: He's more Browning piece guy which bank over the weekend
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Fellers Last Way to be honest. Last night we turned
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: on the TV to put on an episode of Grand
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: designs UK. Before that, the TV had already stumbled. I
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: must have bumped the buttom. It went down channel down.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: You bumped the buttons and I didn't realize this. It
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: went down to Samsung TV. Ah, and I was like
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: to my wife, Wow, look we've got Samsung TV. She's like,
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: what's that. I don't know about. Jay's bangs on and
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: on and on about it. And it's a range of
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: channels that come free with the Samsung TV. Yes, there
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: are so many, ridiculous Yeah, So we started scrolling through.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: One of them was like Amazing Hotels, so we started watching.
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: That was ship.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: And then another one was like amazing Trails around the World.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: That was ship as well, but like it was I
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: can see, yes, I can see where you like it.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: There was one that was just on.
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: Really big boats, mega yachts and that sort of thing. Yeah,
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: it was just like big boats.
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: Wow.
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: I got hooked on a little bit, well for quite
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: a while with the come dine with me because I
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: saw that channel.
- 1:08:21Speaker 7: So that was me.
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: I watched every single episode.
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: Well as you know with me, it was I survived.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: And isn't there a place in the sun. I believe
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: there's a channel all place in the same escape to
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: the country. Yes, so I'm going to watch more of it. Yeah,
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: good stuff.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: in on.
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: Radio there on the radio Hodarky Big Show this Monday
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: morning and she's back from Japan. Big charm because I
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: am ask how are you going? Yeah, big set with Jason.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: Don't try and launch into a full blown Japanese conversation
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: with someone as you know how to speak Japanese Japanese?
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: Well I do, but I mean it will be appropriate
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: now go on, No, it's not appropriate Nowzy our.

- 1:09:05Speaker 3: Japan for how long?
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Eleven days?
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Eleven days?
- 1:09:08Speaker 9: How good?
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: And how was it? Because you lived over there for
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: a year, eight months, eight.
- 1:09:12Speaker 13: Months, twenty years ago, it's changed a lot.
- 1:09:14Speaker 10: Has it?
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: Yeah? No?

- 1:09:31Speaker 13: eleven years old.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Wow, it was insane. Yeah right, are you quite gent legged? Yeah,
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: you're a shell of a human, big sent.

- 1:10:11Speaker 13: the hotel and everything, you get a good decent I
- 1:10:14Speaker 13: don't know what the Japanese foods called. I'm so tired.
- 1:10:17Speaker 13: I don't even know I am, But it was just
- 1:10:22Speaker 13: it was just so I can't get over how cheap
- 1:10:24Speaker 13: everything was.
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: It's very weak at the moment, isn't it.
- 1:10:26Speaker 13: It's ninety I think we were getting ninety three.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: Yeah, not like the dong oh no, strong dog strong.

- 1:10:45Speaker 13: little village out of Kobe right got to weird traditional kimonos.
- 1:10:49Speaker 13: They put on a big dinner. Half the village came
- 1:10:51Speaker 13: because they wanted to meet real kiwiz here.
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: It was cultural appropriation sort of.

- 1:11:42Speaker 13: the X Game's half pipe ramp. Smoking sections, so that
- 1:11:46Speaker 13: was cool.
- 1:11:47Speaker 6: Smoking section, yeah, because last.
- 1:11:49Speaker 13: Time I was in Japan, you could smoke everywhere, and
- 1:11:51Speaker 13: now you've got to go into these rooms on the
- 1:11:53Speaker 13: sides of the streets. Around hotels. It's just you walk
