- 0:09Speaker 1: Welcome to the Become who you Are podcast, a production of the John Paul II Renewal Center.
- 0:14Speaker 1: I'm Jack Riggert, your host.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I hope you're doing well.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Glad you're joining me.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It is full blast summer here outside the western suburbs, outside of Chicago, really hot.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I like it like this.
- 0:25Speaker 1: My wife's not that crazy about it.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I'm going to try to get out on my bicycle in a little while in 100 degree heat, but it's pretty breezy, pretty windy.
- 0:34Speaker 1: You know, when I'm moving on a bicycle it doesn't seem to bother me too much.
- 0:37Speaker 1: We'll see what happens today.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Hey, I hope you get a little fresh air.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I hope you're going to get outside.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I usually record on Wednesdays with Linda Piper.
- 0:46Speaker 1: We usually record John Paul II's Theology of the Body.
- 0:50Speaker 1: We had a really great segment coming up.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I was really looking forward to it and then my internet didn't work and so Linda and I couldn't record.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I ran out of time.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I had to go somewhere.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I got back and then I had another guest coming on incredible guest actually, michael Warren Davis.
- 1:08Speaker 1: He wrote After Christendom.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It's an amazing book actually, just really, really good.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Reminded me of Bishop Sheen Bishop Sheen talking about a warning of crisis in Christendom.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Before I got out of high school he was talking about this stuff and he said first of all, we're at the end of Christendom, he said on a television show in 1974.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Now, not Christianity, not the church.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Remember what I'm saying?
- 1:34Speaker 1: He said.
- 1:34Speaker 1: And then he went on to say how we're taking Christianity out of our economics, our politics, our social life, our marriages and families.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And look at the symptoms.
- 1:45Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:45Speaker 1: We have marital breakdown, families in dysfunction, abortion, sane sex, marriage, immorality, general dishonesty, all kinds of things right.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Well, he said, we live in it from day to day.
- 1:57Speaker 1: We don't even see the decline.
- 1:58Speaker 1: And that was true.
- 2:00Speaker 1: In those days we were wondering okay, bishop Sheen, we're kind of sensing some of the things you're saying.
- 2:04Speaker 1: We don't really see it yet.
- 2:06Speaker 1: And he said well, it's not full-fledged here yet.
- 2:08Speaker 1: But he went on to say this.
- 2:10Speaker 1: He went on to say not far after our time again, this is 1974, and perhaps in the time of some still around here, there will come a time the battles and the testing will be here.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Our Lord said Satan will sift you like wheat, and we're being sifted as wheat today, he said.
- 2:29Speaker 1: So we can all thank God that we live in these days.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Really, it's beautiful.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Now we can say aye or nay, yes to Jesus Christ or no, and we can bear up under assault, criticism and even ridicule, because this is the lot of the Christians in the days of the spirit of the world.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Surprising, unexpected advice right, the saintly bishop made clear the situation was really not gloomy.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Why?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Because it's a picture of the church in the midst of increasing opposition from the world.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And therefore, live your lives in the full consciousness of this hour of testing and rally close to the heart of Jesus Christ, be the minority, be in the minority.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Well, I'll tell you what he said.
- 3:11Speaker 1: This is coming and it may be very obvious for some of you.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Well, here I am and it's very obvious now to many of us.
- 3:19Speaker 1: When you start to see, you can almost see out in the culture today that the weeds and the weed are separating, and so, anyway.
- 3:28Speaker 1: So, michael Warren Davis let me just finish this thought.
- 3:32Speaker 1: So he wrote a book then after Christendom.
- 3:35Speaker 1: It got me thinking about Bishop Sheen's talk and then, getting ready for Michael to come on, I grabbed the coffee and he had a family emergency and he couldn't make it.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So I'm going to just there's a lot of things on my mind about these issues that I just kind of expressed, kind of floating around in my brain, so I'm going to start unpacking some of them.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I called this.
- 3:57Speaker 1: The great reset is plagiarism.
- 3:59Speaker 1: You know we already had a great reset.
- 4:01Speaker 1: His name is Jesus Christ.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Have you heard of him?
- 4:05Speaker 1: I hope so.
- 4:06Speaker 1: This is what Bishop Sheen's talking to about, back in 1974.
- 4:11Speaker 1: And it is clear in front of us that we got to that point.
- 4:14Speaker 1: This is the point of testing.
- 4:15Speaker 1: We have to say eh or nay.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Love it, buckle up and get ready for today's episode.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Those of us that have been around for a while are not surprised by this evil in the world.
- 4:35Speaker 1: We've been watching this come for a long time.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Covid somehow set off the acceleration, you know, put like gas on the fire, but this has been coming, like Bishop Sheen said, for a long, long, long, long time.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's interesting now because you're starting to see people that are very liberal in essence just getting upset.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Jillian Michaels, who's an exercise guru of sorts.
- 4:59Speaker 1: She had a pretty popular TV show on I forget the name of it, but anyways helping people lose weight, et cetera, et cetera on TV.
- 5:06Speaker 1: An energetic person, probably around 50 years old or so today I'm not really sure, but anyway she was on some kind of a talk show.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I just saw a clip and she talked about her liberal background.
- 5:18Speaker 1: She said I'm a lesbian married to a woman, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 5:22Speaker 1: She goes on, but she goes.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It's gotten too insane.
- 5:24Speaker 1: It's gotten too insane.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I'm moving out of LA, I'm moving to Florida, she's moving to Florida.
- 5:29Speaker 1: This is a problem, of course, when you live in Texas and Florida Colorado this already happened to where all the people from California with their liberal views move in.
- 5:38Speaker 1: And then what do they do?
- 5:39Speaker 1: They vote for more liberal people and then the laws get passed.
- 5:43Speaker 1: And so what happens is, you see this spiral that Bishop Sheen was talking about.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It goes down and down and down and down, because we all live in this world of moral relativism today, and this moral relativism, we all make up our own stuff.
- 5:57Speaker 1: We say, okay, well, I'm liberal, everything goes.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I'm against abortion, but it's okay for you.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Or I'm against same-sex, but it's okay for you.
- 6:04Speaker 1: And you know, I'm against illegal immigration, but it's okay for you and everything's okay.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Blah, blah, blah, right.
- 6:10Speaker 1: So evil is just allowed to run wild.
- 6:12Speaker 1: You know, we always forget this is not a battle between people, between flesh and blood.
- 6:18Speaker 1: This is a battle between our Lord and Satan.
- 6:20Speaker 1: You know, humanity really becomes either visible sign of good in the world.
- 6:25Speaker 1: We bring good in the world, we bring evil.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And that's why Bishop Sheen said you make a choice, we're being tested.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Do you say A to Jesus Christ or do you say nay, you know, you just keep walking in the darkness.
- 6:35Speaker 1: And so what you see are people waking up and saying wow, you know, but if they don't move all the way, they don't move all the way, then the world just is going to continue to carry him down, because it's up to each one of us to stand up.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Bill Aikman, super wealthy hedge fund guy.
- 6:53Speaker 1: He said I'm sitting next to a top scientist this was on X, somebody sent it to me on X who's a professor at UCSF?
- 7:01Speaker 1: I guess that's the University of San Francisco.
- 7:05Speaker 1: She's explaining how higher education is failing us.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Among other things, she just told me that the words excellence and resilience are no longer permissible speech at UCSF, san Francisco, because they're ableist and therefore discriminatory.
- 7:20Speaker 1: She says the institution is past the point of no return.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Harvard is past the point of no return.
- 7:27Speaker 1: All of these institutions, basically these big public universities and many of the small ones are past the point of no return.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And Bill Aikman is just finally waking up.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Waking up, bill, wake up.
- 7:41Speaker 1: It's suddenly dawning on him that our institutions are a house of cards.
- 7:47Speaker 1: It's a big pyramid scheme built on lies and they're all starting to crumble.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Our whole civilization is crumbling.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Welcome to our world, bill.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Leave the dark side and come on over through the narrow gate.
- 7:57Speaker 1: And we're seeing people starting to move to the narrow gate, aren't we People like Jordan Peterson's wife, tammy, just came into the church.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Tucker Carlson calls himself a Christian and says you know, I know this is the truth.
- 8:09Speaker 1: And then, you know, trying to figure out.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You know how far to go with that.
- 8:13Speaker 1: You know he's a truth seeker.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Russell Brand, he's praying the rosary on his Rumble channel and he calls himself a Christian, was baptized, and so you know where's all this going.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You know these people are sensing the evil in the world and saying, yes, I have to say A, I have to say yes to this and bring it in truth.
- 8:31Speaker 1: So what's the difference between the Russell Brands and the Tucker Carlsons and the Tammy Petersons?
- 8:38Speaker 1: Candace Owens just came back into the or just came into the church, the Catholic church, versus know the, the, the more liberals, like Jillian Michaels say, or Bill Aikman and many of the other ones, they're not going to come all the way in, right, they're going to just say, well, I'll go so far, but then I draw the line on this.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But the problem with evil is evil just keeps pushing, pushing, pushing, pushing.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You know, two steps forward and it'll take one step back.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Two steps forward, one step back.
- 9:04Speaker 1: We see this in Illinois.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You know, as soon as we push back on one law that wants to take our you know steal the innocence of our kids, say, bring pornography into the classrooms, whatever it is, and we push back and boom another one for a gender affirming care, that we can give puberty blockers without parental consent, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Right, so what's happening?
- 9:31Speaker 1: It's amazing how many people fall for the lie and people, if they don't live out the truth, if they don't really seek the truth, what is the truth and what is the truth of love?
- 9:36Speaker 1: You know, the good news for us that are Christians right, I'm Catholic, of course is that we have to love all these people.
- 9:43Speaker 1: So, while you can get angry about this and angry about that, we can get angry about sinning.
- 9:48Speaker 1: We get angry about what sinners do, their actions to hurt other people.
- 9:53Speaker 1: We can get angry that they're voting for more evil and they don't understand it, but we still have to love the people, right?
- 10:01Speaker 1: God?
- 10:02Speaker 1: Jesus Christ is hanging on the cross.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I said plagiarism, the Great Res reset is plagiarism because he already had the great reset and his name is Jesus Christ and he asks us to go out and bring all the other people back, you know, back into the fold.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Give them a choice.
- 10:18Speaker 1: This is the time of testing, like Bishop Sheen said, and we're being tested.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I'm being tested because I have to speak the truth.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I have to speak the name of Jesus Christ, because that's the only name that's gonna make a difference.
- 10:31Speaker 1: St Paul writes this in.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Let me see, I just was opening this Ephesians, chapter two from death to life with Christ.
- 10:39Speaker 1: And right from the first verse of chapter two of Ephesians.
- 10:42Speaker 1: And you he made alive when you were dead, through the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the ear, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience Among these.
- 10:56Speaker 1: We all once lived in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of body and mind, and so we were, by nature, children of wrath like the rest of mankind.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Whoa see?
- 11:07Speaker 1: I mean, we came into a broken world.
- 11:09Speaker 1: We came into a world of original sin.
- 11:11Speaker 1: If we're not baptized, if we don't walk into the story that Christ offers us, we're just by nature children of the wrath.
- 11:18Speaker 1: You could see what happens right now.
- 11:20Speaker 1: People are going crazy out there.
- 11:22Speaker 1: You know I ride a bicycle a lot, as I just mentioned earlier, and I'll be out on a bike today.
- 11:27Speaker 1: I have to be really careful and if the wind pushes you an inch or two off the one way or the other, or somebody's texting man, that bicycle is flying.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You know people are angry too.
- 11:38Speaker 1: You know I ride a lot of times by myself now because I don't want people getting mad trying to get around a bicycle, but they still do Get off the road.
- 11:47Speaker 1: This and that they're just angry.
- 11:48Speaker 1: People are just angry.
- 11:55Speaker 1: St Paul goes on in verse 4,.
- 11:56Speaker 1: But God, who is rich in mercy and of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.
- 12:01Speaker 1: By grace, you have been saved, and he raises us up with him and made us sit with him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace and kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, for by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing.
- 12:21Speaker 1: It is a gift of God, not because of works lest any man should boast for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
- 12:33Speaker 1: We should walk in them.
- 12:34Speaker 1: And so here's what we do, you know, we accept redemption and then salvation.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Christ didn't come for sin management, he came to give us power.
- 12:42Speaker 1: It's an amazing story, isn't it?
- 12:44Speaker 1: It's an amazing story.
- 12:45Speaker 1: But when I think what I like about this crazy time so much, I don't like the persecution, I don't like the angriness, I don't like the sin, of course not, of course not, of course not.
- 12:53Speaker 1: But I like the fact that our faith is so obvious.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Now, those people who are walking into this brokenness, you know, and so many people, are sitting in that proverbial pot with the frog right, and that's the size to the reality of the lies, of the lack of truth going on all around them.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Jill Michaels, bill Aikman, are not picking on just them, because there's just one of millions and millions of people sitting in that pot.
- 13:20Speaker 1: You know, stewing in there, not realizing they have to come out of the pot.
- 13:24Speaker 1: And you know, stewing in there, not realizing they have to come out of the pot.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And you know, eternal life, their eternal life, our, you know, and my eternal life is on the line if I don't say this, if I don't push this out right.
- 13:32Speaker 1: So everything's okay, everything's okay until it's not okay.
- 13:35Speaker 1: And they just see what's going on.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Do they not see?
- 13:39Speaker 1: They're purposely dumbing down our children.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Bill Aikman, that's what's happening at the university to become activists for the cause, to become useful idiots for the cause.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Everything's fine, huh, everything's fine with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and all the left telling us it's okay to kill our kids and marriage is meaningless.
- 13:57Speaker 1: You can render your kids sterile with puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.
- 14:01Speaker 1: The vaccine is safe.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You know, blah, blah, blah.
- 14:03Speaker 1: The wars they want to start.
- 14:05Speaker 1: You know, all of this is of Satan.
- 14:06Speaker 1: All of this is of Satan.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You know, there was a young woman that was ranting a little time ago I don't even know her name, probably early 20s or so and I called this rant common sense and this is coming from her, so not from me particular, but I read it and I got a kick out of it for sure.
- 14:29Speaker 1: She goes this may not sit well for some people and may not sit.
- 14:33Speaker 1: This may sit well for some people and may not sit well for others.
- 14:37Speaker 1: She said I hate Pride Month, and not because I care about who you want to love, but because I'm sick of the corporate pandering.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I'm sick of seeing all the drag shows with kids invited, where bearded men wrapped in fishnets and BDSM outfits are grinding their man bulges in the faces of our children.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I'm sick of society pushing children to transition.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I'm sick and tired of the pornography in the schools.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I'm sick and tired of men dressing up as women to victimize other women in sports, public restrooms, locker rooms and life.
- 15:07Speaker 1: We have pride flags painted on our sidewalks, they're flying from our embassies, they're hanging in our schools, and yet a group that claims to be so deeply marginalized has an entire month dedicated to one of the seven deadly sins.
- 15:21Speaker 1: And I'm supposed to tolerate it.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I mean, wasn't this Satan, right?
- 15:25Speaker 1: I will not serve huh.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Pride, pride.
- 15:28Speaker 1: This is right in your face, right?
- 15:30Speaker 1: Pride month, she goes on.
- 15:31Speaker 1: What once was a call for people to just mind their own business and love who they wanted to love has turned into a campaign to force people, regardless of religious beliefs, to accept a certain way of life that they don't want to accept, in a trend to destroy childhood innocence, in an attempt to validate sick adults, and I want no part of it.
- 15:51Speaker 1: The only rainbow I celebrate is God's promise, and the only pride I want is to have pride for my country.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It's something, isn't it?
- 15:59Speaker 1: You know that flag that we fly, that flag of the United States of America, everybody's invited.
- 16:04Speaker 1: That flag represents all of us, you know, and we're called to love one another.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Bring us in, but this is not about love.
- 16:11Speaker 1: This is about an ideology.
- 16:13Speaker 1: This is about Satan wanting to destroy human beings, and this is what we have to wake up to.
- 16:18Speaker 1: You know the world elite, the Joe Bidens of the world, the G7, klaus Schwab.
- 16:24Speaker 1: You know the Vatican has officials going to the World Economic Forum calling for build back better, the Great Reset campaign.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Well, we already had a Great Reset.
- 16:34Speaker 1: His name is Jesus Christ.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I hope you heard of him.
- 16:37Speaker 1: The world elite seeks a Great Reset.
- 16:39Speaker 1: They believe that the world and human beings who inhabit it they're not okay.
- 16:43Speaker 1: We got to build this better.
- 16:44Speaker 1: They're not okay, of course they're not okay, but we're supposed to be invited to life, not continuing death.
- 16:51Speaker 1: But they fool them all because we're all sitting in that pot with this moral relativism.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Nobody knows the truth, nobody really wants to put their head up, because if you do, you got to confront the evil in your own heart.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Ooh, see, this all starts in the human heart.
- 17:04Speaker 1: This is about me, this is about my heart, this is about your heart.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Well, anyways, they decided they possess right, the world economic order, g7, these crazy gay cardinals and bishops.
- 17:16Speaker 1: They got the better, superior knowledge and intellect and wealth that qualifies them to know what's best for the rest of us, and they're going to use whatever means necessary to build back better, a world, created in their own image and likeness, that will redeem and save mankind.
- 17:31Speaker 1: We'll save you from climate change, no worries, huh, just give us all your money, all your resources.
- 17:36Speaker 1: You will own nothing and be happy, huh.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Well, it's amazing what happens.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Right, and we fall for this right and once again standing in their way.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Oh, this little, self-appointed task to fight back, to bring the light into this darkness, this pesky remnant, huh, the small and lowly of the world cling to their faith and their rosaries going to mass.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Who clearly recognize the plagiarism going on, huh, they recognize the folly of human characters blinded by pride who attempt to play God.
- 18:09Speaker 1: This has been going on since Genesis, chapter three.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Right, the self-proclaimed enlightened ones, who stood before the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, succumbing to Satan's temptation.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Listen to this.
- 18:19Speaker 1: God knows well that the moment you eat of that fruit, your eyes will be open and you will be like God and you can call evil good and good evil.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Isn't this what they do?
- 18:29Speaker 1: This is no different.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Each generation comes into the story, right, and we have to decide how to live.
- 18:36Speaker 1: This is our story.
- 18:37Speaker 1: The test is our test.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Do we become people of love in the truth and we speak the truth in love?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Do we become people of love in the truth and we speak the truth in love?
- 18:46Speaker 1: Do we go to that man, jesus Christ, who no longer calls us slave, who calls us friend now, who pours himself?
- 18:52Speaker 1: Think about this.
- 18:53Speaker 1: He pours himself out on the cross, he said.
- 18:57Speaker 1: When I'm raised, he said, people are going to be attracted to me like a magnet, like a gravitational pull.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Well, those are the people that seek the truth, and they will.
- 19:07Speaker 1: They're getting pulled.
- 19:07Speaker 1: You see this.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Now People are standing up again like the Russell Brands and the Tucker Carlson's.
- 19:12Speaker 1: These were people that didn't really have a certain real deep religious belief.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Jordan Peterson you could just see they're two seekers but there's no place to go.
- 19:23Speaker 1: They're trying everything and they finally come into Christianity because they go wow, there's a power here.
- 19:30Speaker 1: This is different than anything else.
- 19:33Speaker 1: We'll do another show on just the difference between Christianity and Buddhism.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Buddhism's got some great things in it Confucius, if you read him.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Some great things in it.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Confucius, if you read him.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Some great things in it.
- 19:44Speaker 1: The ancient church, the ancient Greeks, 400 years before Jesus, socrates, aristotle, plato you know they have some great stuff in there, right, and because they're truth seekers, you know.
- 19:54Speaker 1: But if they don't have Jesus Christ, you know where do you go with that.
- 19:58Speaker 1: You know you don't have the power.
- 20:00Speaker 1: The only one, the only person that was ever murdered, killed or died even, and rose from the dead and came back to life is Jesus Christ.
- 20:08Speaker 1: The only one that gave up his life on the cross, was crucified and risen again is Jesus Christ.
- 20:15Speaker 1: This is a story that's been connected.
- 20:17Speaker 1: You know, jesus came into the world.
- 20:19Speaker 1: More has been written about him than all of these other people.
- 20:22Speaker 1: It's amazing what happens.
- 20:23Speaker 1: And he connected the dots.
- 20:31Speaker 1: He didn't just tell us to follow him, he told us to follow him, but he connected the dots all the way to our prehistory, all the way to Genesis 1, genesis 2, and Genesis 3, what I just read, right?
- 20:38Speaker 1: So I love to speak to young people, and this means young at heart, to people that are looking for answers, right, and we should be asking questions.
- 20:46Speaker 1: What is the truth?
- 20:47Speaker 1: Right, for this is the world that we're all living in today.
- 20:50Speaker 1: So let me speak to young people and young at heart, right?
- 20:56Speaker 1: So when you come into the world, you came into a broken world and you have to decide, because you can have to live in this world tomorrow when this older generation that has brought all this evil down to you but you know, we got it brought down to us too.
- 21:10Speaker 1: You know, my dad fought in World War II.
- 21:13Speaker 1: My relatives fought in World War I that I knew as a young boy.
- 21:18Speaker 1: It's amazing stuff, right.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I knew people that you know were in concentration camps and stuff.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I talk about Dr Wander Pultrowska, who I didn't know myself, but John Paul II was friends with and I've related her story so many times right?
- 21:33Speaker 1: So, young people, you have to ask questions.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Don't sit in that proverbial pot, because this older generation is passing on and you might rightly ask why does humanity's great progress in science and technology, which cannot be compared, as John Paul said, with any preceding period of history, why does man's progress in mastering the material world turn against humanity itself in so many ways?
- 21:55Speaker 1: You can rightly ask, though also with a sense of inner foreboding is this state of fears irreversible?
- 22:02Speaker 1: Can it be changed?
- 22:04Speaker 1: Shall we succeed in changing it.
- 22:06Speaker 1: We see this evil around us.
- 22:08Speaker 1: What can we do?
- 22:09Speaker 1: You're rightly asked this.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Yes, this is a fundamental question facing this generation, this young generation, isn't it?
- 22:16Speaker 1: This is how your conversation with Christ goes on.
- 22:19Speaker 1: The conversation began one day in the gospel, that young man, when he said what must I do to have eternal life?
- 22:26Speaker 1: And you put that same question in the style of the times in which it is your turn to be young.
- 22:31Speaker 1: What must we do?
- 22:33Speaker 1: We should be asking ourselves right, each person that's listening what must I do?
- 22:37Speaker 1: What must we do to ensure that life and the flourishing of life of the human family will not be turned into the graveyard of nuclear death.
- 22:47Speaker 1: We face this, these vaccine deaths, climate deaths, all this stuff being pushed on us, and there's more to come.
- 22:56Speaker 1: What must we do to avoid being dominated by the sin of universal injustice?
- 23:02Speaker 1: We see around us the sin of holding people in contempt and scorning their dignity.
- 23:06Speaker 1: We see this with the January 6th guys.
- 23:10Speaker 1: We see this with people praying outside of abortion clinics being arrested.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Now, all this time, right, we're arresting people.
- 23:19Speaker 1: We're arresting.
- 23:20Speaker 1: We want to arrest Donald Trump and everybody that supported him.
- 23:23Speaker 1: It's just out in the open.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Evil is out in the open, and so all of these things.
- 23:28Speaker 1: What must we do?
- 23:29Speaker 1: Will we be able to do it?
- 23:35Speaker 1: Christ answers this question.
- 23:36Speaker 1: He answers the young people of the first generation of the church in the words of the apostle.
- 23:38Speaker 1: He says I am writing to you, young people.
- 23:40Speaker 1: This is St Paul.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I'm writing to you, young people, because you have overcome the evil one.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I am writing you, children, because you know the Father.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I write you, young people, because you're strong and the word of God abides in you.
- 23:55Speaker 1: The words of the apostle go back almost 2,000 years.
- 23:58Speaker 1: That was actually from the first letter of John.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Sorry, the words of the apostle go back almost 2,000 years are also an answer for today.
- 24:06Speaker 1: They use the simple and strong language of faith that bears within itself victory over evil in the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world.
- 24:14Speaker 1: What is it?
- 24:15Speaker 1: The apostle John says Our faith.
- 24:18Speaker 1: These words have the strength of the experience of the cross and the resurrection of Christ, the experience of the apostles and of the generations of Christians who followed them.
- 24:26Speaker 1: This is what's being passed down to us guys from generation to generation to generation is Jesus Christ and this act that he did, the one-time historical act that every single mass we go to is not reenacted, but it's made present and efficacious to us.
- 24:45Speaker 1: That one-time historical event is being relived right there.
- 24:50Speaker 1: That one-time event is being relived right there at the mass on that altar, and Christ has given himself in that one-time historical event.
- 24:58Speaker 1: It's being brought all the way through history and then we receive him in the Eucharist.
- 25:02Speaker 1: You know this gift of ours.
- 25:03Speaker 1: It's amazing power in that.
- 25:12Speaker 1: And as we approach, as I approach, this podcast today, I want you to consider a moment that you know the words of the apostle, which are a confirmation and a challenge to you, and they are also an answer.
- 25:19Speaker 1: The apostle writes that you, young people, are strong in the strength of divine doctrine, the doctrine contained in Christ's gospel and summed up in the Our Father.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yes, john Paul would say you are strong in this divine teaching.
- 25:33Speaker 1: You are strong in this prayer.
- 25:34Speaker 1: You're strong because it instills into you love, goodwill, respect for people, for their life, their dignity, their conscience, their beliefs and their rights.
- 25:44Speaker 1: If you know the Father, you are strong with the power of human brotherhood.
- 25:49Speaker 1: You are also strong for the struggle.
- 25:52Speaker 1: This is a struggle we're in, not for the struggle of one against another in the name of some ideology or practice separated from the very roots of the gospel, but strong for the struggle against listen to this against evil, against the real evil.
- 26:05Speaker 1: This is what we're up against.
- 26:06Speaker 1: The enemy is the enemy.
- 26:08Speaker 1: The enemy isn't really Joe Biden.
- 26:11Speaker 1: At the end, the enemy is not the guy that arrests me for praying outside an abortion clinic.
- 26:15Speaker 1: The enemy is the enemy, satan himself, who plants this evil in these people and then they carry out his will.
- 26:22Speaker 1: The only way to stand up against that is to stand there with Jesus Christ and have the power, because otherwise we don't have the power, because this evil we see, in the world, we have to stand against everything that offends God, against every injustice and exploitation, against every falsehood and deceit, against everything that insults and humiliates, against everything that profanes human society and human relationships, against every crime, against life, against every sin.
- 26:49Speaker 1: See, we have to be witnesses to that and the good news is we don't have to be hatred when we say it.
- 26:55Speaker 1: The apostle writes you have to overcome the evil one.
- 26:58Speaker 1: And how do we overcome the evil one?
- 26:59Speaker 1: We have overcome the evil with good.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Jesus said you have to overcome evil with good.
- 27:06Speaker 1: We have to love one another.
- 27:08Speaker 1: And so it is.
- 27:09Speaker 1: It is necessary to keep going back to the origin of evil and sin in the history of mankind and the universe, just as Christ went back to these same roots in the Paschal mystery of his cross and resurrection.
- 27:20Speaker 1: There is no need to be afraid to call the first agent of evil by its name.
- 27:25Speaker 1: John Paul said Call him the evil one.
- 27:27Speaker 1: This is the reality of it.
- 27:29Speaker 1: The evil one exists in this world.
- 27:31Speaker 1: The demons exist in this world.
- 27:33Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 27:35Speaker 1: The strategy which he used and continues to use is that of not revealing himself, so that the evil implanted by him from the beginning this is.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Satan may receive its development from man himself.
- 27:47Speaker 1: So we take that evil within us and then we create systems.
- 27:52Speaker 1: It poisons relationships between individuals, it separates classes and nations.
- 27:58Speaker 1: You could see this being taught in school with DEI and CRT and SCL and all this baloney.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Right, it's all demonic.
- 28:05Speaker 1: It's all about division, pornography, so that we no longer look at each other as people to love but as people to use.
- 28:11Speaker 1: It's sickness, it's madness.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Gender ideology it's madness, and so it's also.
- 28:18Speaker 1: It's becoming more and more structural sin, ever less identifiable as personal sin.
- 28:27Speaker 1: See, we have to take this story that I'm talking about personally, we have to take it to ourselves.
- 28:31Speaker 1: When Jesus Christ speaks, we can't say these words are for other people, they're for us.
- 28:37Speaker 1: We're called to bring good into this evil world, to overcome evil with our good actions, our love, but also to go out and proclaim the answer.
- 28:47Speaker 1: What is the answer?
- 28:48Speaker 1: Proclaim Jesus Christ, in other words, so that man may feel in a certain sense freed from sin, but at the same time he's ever more deeply immersed in it.
- 29:00Speaker 1: This again is what Jillian Michaels, what Bill Aiklin, you know.
- 29:06Speaker 1: They want to say a couple of good things and say, ok, well, now I'm free from sin, I'm moving someplace else where it's not as bad.
- 29:14Speaker 1: But they aren't.
- 29:14Speaker 1: They're still living in the proverbial pot and they, they will be overcome by evil.
- 29:19Speaker 1: That's just the way it goes.
- 29:20Speaker 1: The apostle says young people, you are strong.
- 29:22Speaker 1: All that is needed is this the word of God abides in you.
- 29:27Speaker 1: That's what it needs.
- 29:28Speaker 1: The word of God has to abide in you.
- 29:31Speaker 1: This is about prayer.
- 29:33Speaker 1: This is about fasting.
- 29:34Speaker 1: This is about almsgiving.
- 29:36Speaker 1: This is about seeking the truth, seeking righteousness.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Righteousness means becoming one with God at the end, and then go out.
- 29:44Speaker 1: We have to evangelize, we have to be able to stand for the truth.
- 29:47Speaker 1: He said then you are strong.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Thus you will succeed in getting at the hidden workings of evil, its sources, and thus you will gradually succeed in changing the world, transforming it, making it more human, more fraternal, at the same time, more of God.
- 30:03Speaker 1: This is the only way to do it.
- 30:05Speaker 1: There is no, you know there's no politician that's going to come in and save us.
- 30:10Speaker 1: If Donald Trump gets in here, this is going to be very good for the country, but he's not going to be able to save us, because this is embedded evil, it's structural evil.
- 30:18Speaker 1: You know, we put it into our laws, that it's okay to kill babies, that marriage is meaningless.
- 30:23Speaker 1: We're protecting all of these pharma companies from all this evil that they're perpetrating on us.
- 30:32Speaker 1: This is deep.
- 30:32Speaker 1: They've tried to take out Trump before.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Remember the deep state.
- 30:34Speaker 1: There's also a deep church, so this has to go to our own human heart.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Don't get frustrated, because this is your test, this is my test.
- 30:44Speaker 1: And then we go out and we work together.
- 30:46Speaker 1: We get to meet each other, we trade stories and we walk together, find a little community and walk together.
- 30:52Speaker 1: But this is between you and God.
- 30:54Speaker 1: This is where it starts.
- 30:55Speaker 1: And then you bring it out into the world.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Right, for it's impossible to detach the world from God or to set up an opposition to God in the human heart.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Nor is it possible to detach man from God and set him up in opposition to God.
- 31:09Speaker 1: It just won't happen.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Man will be destroyed.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Our default position is sin and death.
- 31:13Speaker 1: We're living like cut flowers.
- 31:15Speaker 1: We have to go back to the vine.
- 31:17Speaker 1: To do that, we have to go and look up at the cross, at Jesus Christ, and say yes to him.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Jesus, I trust in you.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Be merciful to me.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Yes to him.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Jesus, I trust in you.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Be merciful to me a sinner, jesus, I trust in you, be merciful to me a sinner.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Matthew 7, 7, verse 7, ask, seek, knock, and he says come.
- 31:34Speaker 1: He says otherwise, everybody's entering through the broad gate, and it's easy, everybody's on it already.
- 31:40Speaker 1: He says find the narrow gate, I am the narrow gate, find the narrow gate, but those that find it are few.
- 31:46Speaker 1: He said Well, again, original sin and death has entered the garden.
- 31:51Speaker 1: The entrance of shame indicated a radical change in our first parents.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Remember that Original man without sin gives way to historical man and man who and this means man and woman who must contend with lust in his heart.
- 32:05Speaker 1: We know the story, don't we?
- 32:07Speaker 1: This story is our story.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Every single person comes into the story and what happens?
- 32:13Speaker 1: We have to say yes, we all stand, in a sense, before the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
- 32:19Speaker 1: We each individually stand there.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I remember as I was writing a thesis for the University of St Thomas, a work dedicated to young people I've been talking about that on Fridays and Saturdays a lot, if you go back and listen to my last few Friday and Saturday podcasts and as I was approaching the final message, I was finishing that project.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I dedicated it to our Blessed Mother and her son in the Eucharist, and I had worked all day.
- 32:48Speaker 1: That day, I remember, and it was toward the end of the night and I started to think how is the best way to end something for these young people that I've been working on for so long?
- 32:57Speaker 1: I poured a glass of wine and I sat down and I was tired.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I thought maybe that would give me a little energy.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Right, I remember looking out the window and a rabbit hopped across the tree line separating our manicured lawn and the trees from the forest that was behind it.
- 33:14Speaker 1: It was as if I was watching then a 3D movie.
- 33:17Speaker 1: The beauty of the scene before me opened to the sky, the clouds, and then a large airplane, I remember, came into my vision.
- 33:24Speaker 1: I walked outside and I just sat immersed in it and, seemingly trailing it a little bit lower, were these four geese in a staggered line, drafting off one another and flying back north from wherever they were down south for the winter.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Only man seeing birds in flight would dream one day of flying Further still.
- 33:47Speaker 1: A lone star was visible and man dreams of what?
- 33:50Speaker 1: Exploring the cosmos, going to the moon, going to the Mars.
- 33:53Speaker 1: There's no other animal like that we're drawn to these things, right, the awe and wonder of it all.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Unless you look out at creation, then, and you see it with sacramental lens, not just to overcome but to explore and say God gave me this desire to go out, but that is a little sign in a man's heart of eternal life to go all the way through.
- 34:13Speaker 1: This is what Jesus Christ offers us, and we look at creation as sacramental.
- 34:17Speaker 1: The stars, the beauty of the stars, small b beauty bring us to large b beauty of reflection of God in the world, that scene that I was describing with the rabbit and the forest, and the beauty of all of that.
- 34:29Speaker 1: It did something to my heart.
- 34:31Speaker 1: But that small bee beauty of all this around me should bring me into big beauty, god himself.
- 34:37Speaker 1: If you just stop, if we just stop and we don't see what those icons are pointing us to, you run the danger of living like a cut flower, disconnected from the source of who is God, of course, and of all that we discover through our senses what we see, smell, taste, what they're telling us about this mystery of life and love.
- 34:58Speaker 1: In the Lord of the Rings, sam Gamgee, devoted friend and faithful servant of Fodor, about halfway through their perilous journey, exclaimed I wonder what sort of tale we've fallen into.
- 35:09Speaker 1: I wonder what sort of tale we've fallen into.
- 35:11Speaker 1: That's what we should be asking ourselves.
- 35:13Speaker 1: You know, life you'll notice if you pay even the slightest attention is a story.
- 35:18Speaker 1: You didn't create the universe.
- 35:20Speaker 1: You're not the author of the cosmic story.
- 35:22Speaker 1: You came into a story.
- 35:23Speaker 1: You have an important role to play, but it's going to take wisdom and grace to discover the narrow gate that leads to life.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Life doesn't come to us like a math problem.
- 35:32Speaker 1: It comes to us like a story, scene by scene.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Sometimes it might seem like a tragedy, sometimes like a comedy.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Most of it feels like a soap opera.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Either way, it's a story through and through.
- 35:43Speaker 1: All of life is a story.
- 35:45Speaker 1: You were born in the midst of a great story and it began at the dawn of time.
- 35:49Speaker 1: A tale and a story of adventure, of risk and loss, heroism and betrayal.
- 35:54Speaker 1: A story where good is warring against evil, danger lurks around every corner and glorious deeds wait to be done.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Think of all the stories you've ever loved.
- 36:03Speaker 1: There's a reason.
- 36:05Speaker 1: They stirred your heart.
- 36:05Speaker 1: They're all trying to tell you about the true epic, ever since you were very young.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Don't you remember all this.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Yes, let me finish this with a story.
- 36:14Speaker 1: It might get a little long, but you've heard me talk about Dr Wanda Petralska in the past and she said this.
- 36:20Speaker 1: She's writing.
- 36:21Speaker 1: She died just last year at 102 years old, and she said what did the school girls of Lublin High School of Poland dream of way back in 1939?
- 36:29Speaker 1: Maybe all that girls of their age dream about happiness, attending movies at a theater, dancing love time with their friends.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Yet the folly of Nazism stole all the dreams of happiness and love from them, turning their lives into nightmares which lasted for her for five years.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I'll just say this.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go through that whole story, but Dr Wander Petrowski was 17.
- 36:51Speaker 1: And this is what I bring it up, because this is what's happening today.
- 36:54Speaker 1: You know, we see this civilization just crumbling before us.
- 36:58Speaker 1: You know this death and destruction, wars and all these people pushing it.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Don't forget that that's the enemy behind it, pushing our young men to war, pushing.
- 37:07Speaker 1: You know how many people in Ukraine and Russia have died, how many people in Israel and Palestine have died, right, really, because we've rejected God in our hearts and we all start to hate each other and divide each other.
- 37:19Speaker 1: And Satan loves this right.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Well again, wanda was 17 when the German, when German army attacked Poland and she experienced firsthand the atrocities, the first the Nazi and then the communist totalitarianism, and that was until her death at 102 years old, the last survivor of the 74 young Polish women who were transported to the Ravenswood concentration camp during World War II.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Subjected to pseudo-medical experiments, she became what they called a rabbit, a prisoner destined for the surgical experiments conducted by the medical staff.
- 37:54Speaker 1: It's amazing what they did to her, huh, it's amazing evil that goes on when we allow these things to happen.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Anyways, she had throat cancer and later on in life she survived, had throat cancer, became good friends with John Paul II because she had a lot of young children at that time, and John Paul II wrote the Padre Pio and Padre Pio cured her of that cancer.
- 38:19Speaker 1: And don't forget Padre Pio and I bring this up just the reality of this story of Jesus Christ.
- 38:25Speaker 1: He had the stigmata, he had the visible stigmata of Jesus Christ.
- 38:29Speaker 1: You know, pope, or Padre Pio, I mean, he died in 1968.
- 38:34Speaker 1: I was 11 years old.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Now you know how old I was, I am right.
- 38:38Speaker 1: He was 11 years old when I was 11 years old when he died.
- 38:43Speaker 1: So I was a boy.
- 38:44Speaker 1: I already knew about Padre Pio from my dad because he was in the army with a soldier that met Padre Pio, served mass for him, saw his bleeding when he said mass and stuff.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I bring this up to just the concrete reality.
- 38:58Speaker 1: And then he healed Dr Wander Potralska, who got out of that concentration camp, survived, became a doctor, an internist and then a psychiatrist to help people that were in the concentration camps.
- 39:10Speaker 1: He healed her when John Paul II asked for him to do that, for prayers for her, and it was an amazing miracle, right.
- 39:19Speaker 1: And so, as we end this, and thus we pray in the great community of the young people, of the Universal Church and of all the churches, and we have before our eyes our Blessed Mother, and this is what I'm going to ask you to do today.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Turn to our Blessed Mother.
- 39:33Speaker 1: You know I remember when I came back into the church it was very difficult at first.
- 39:37Speaker 1: You know, I didn't understand what was going on in the church and I would just pray to our Blessed Mother.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I said, can you open a small crack in my heart for your son to come in?
- 39:50Speaker 1: And however that happens, right, because it was our Blessed Mother who accompanied Christ at the beginning of his mission among men and women.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Right, this is the Mary of Cana, of Galilee, who intercedes for the young people at the wedding.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Right, and we're the newly married couple at the first marriage feast.
- 40:04Speaker 1: That Jesus, his first miracle, is at the wedding feast of Cana, and the wine had run out, and Christ's mother turns to him and she looks at him, and then she looks at the servants that come, because she called them and she said do whatever he tells you, do whatever he tells you.
- 40:22Speaker 1: She knew that he was going to be able to turn that water into wine, and this was really the beginning of his public ministry.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Because, why?
- 40:31Speaker 1: Because, in essence, he is the Christ, he's the Messiah, he's the Savior.
- 40:36Speaker 1: That's been talked about all the way from Genesis, chapter three, when Mary, the proto-evangelium, where the woman there says she's already crushed his head and this child that she will bear, where the serpent tries to kill the child but he survives and he's ultimately the one that will destroy his power over sin and death.
- 41:00Speaker 1: It's an amazing story, isn't it?
- 41:01Speaker 1: That's our story, though, and you can look around the world, and probably the one good thing about all of this evil that's popping up all over.
- 41:08Speaker 1: You can see how true the story is.
- 41:11Speaker 1: But you've got to walk into the story of Jesus Christ.
- 41:13Speaker 1: You've got to accept him.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Jesus, I trust in you and you have mercy on me, a sinner.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Jesus, I trust in you, have mercy on me, a sinner.
- 41:21Speaker 1: And then look to our blessed mother and say, please, open a crack in my heart for your son.
- 41:26Speaker 1: They will hear you, they will come, but don't give up.
- 41:29Speaker 1: He's not like a vending machine, but slowly, over time, he's going to come into your heart and he's going to be able to give you the power to overtake the evil that's on our own hearts.
- 41:41Speaker 1: It's a battle, it's really a battle to do this, but this is what we're called to do, this is our test, this is our task.
- 41:51Speaker 1: And then, as soon as you've done that, start to bring Jesus to other people.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Don't worry about being perfect, don't worry about that.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Accept the power.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Huh, find a good priest if you're Catholic.
- 41:58Speaker 1: If you're not Catholic, I guess you find a good pastor.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I know a number of really good pastors in evangelical churches.
- 42:06Speaker 1: But you got to be careful today.
- 42:07Speaker 1: You got to be careful.
- 42:08Speaker 1: No matter where you go, I always tell Catholics, you know, find a good pastor who really knows the truth, who will proclaim the truth.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Put your roots there and then build a community around you.
- 42:19Speaker 1: You know people that can help you.
- 42:21Speaker 1: So thanks for putting up with this podcast today.
- 42:23Speaker 1: It's something I wasn't really planning.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Like I said, I have a couple other things in mind, but I did have things that I want to get out of my system.
- 42:31Speaker 1: So hopefully I have to go back and listen to this.
- 42:35Speaker 1: If it makes any sense.
- 42:36Speaker 1: I hope so.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I hope I wasn't.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Sometimes I think I have ADD.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I didn't have it as a kid, but I'm getting it as I get older and so a lot of thoughts came in my mind.
- 42:46Speaker 1: But I hope you find some of it useful.
- 42:47Speaker 1: God bless you.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Don't forget the financially supporters, if you can.
- 42:51Speaker 1: You know we brought on a great young executive director.
- 42:55Speaker 1: When I say young, he's not a kid he's got five kids, but he he's some new blood that's coming in.
- 43:08Speaker 1: We're forming a lot of different groups that are going to be joining the John Paul II Renewal Center.
- 43:12Speaker 1: So to pay people is an expensive thing and they need in some cases, computers and other tools right that we can go out and stay connected and evangelize, and we want to create a nationwide network, and so it costs money to do that.
- 43:24Speaker 1: So, especially if you can be a financial supporter on a monthly basis, any amount helps.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Look in the show notes.
- 43:30Speaker 1: You'll see the address in there.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Send us a little monthly check.
- 43:33Speaker 1: God bless you.
- 43:34Speaker 1: We really could use it.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Talk to you soon, everybody.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Thanks for joining me.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Bye-bye, thank you.
