Transcript
- 0:10Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Reality TV Cringe. I am one
- 0:13Speaker 1: of your hosts, Delia here with my real tight homegirl
- 0:16Speaker 1: and my daughter in law Beatri. Hi, everybody, we are
- 0:20Speaker 1: here to talk sister wise. Yes, Logan had a wedding.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Uh huh it was awkward, turtle unfortunately, very bittersweet according
- 0:30Speaker 1: to Janelle. We're going to get into all that and
- 0:33Speaker 1: so much more, but before we do, we must issue
- 0:35Speaker 1: you a disclaimer. Police, hi'd your wife and hid your kids.
- 0:39Speaker 1: This is a politically incorrect podcast. We say a lot
- 0:43Speaker 1: of bad words, we have stupid opinions, and we're not
- 0:46Speaker 1: going to apologize for it. So if you're susy old,
- 0:53Speaker 1: you might want to find your sell baby. But if
- 0:57Speaker 1: you're down to party and talk about the Browns, welcome
- 1:01Speaker 1: to this dumpster.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and if you are down to party with us,
- 1:04Speaker 2: be sure to follow us on Instagram at reality tv

- 1:22Speaker 1: even if you just comment a little emoji. Well, if
- 1:24Speaker 1: you just copy the link to share it. All of
- 1:26Speaker 1: that helps us in the algorithm. We're trying to get
- 1:29Speaker 1: to four thousand. Can you help a couple of fat
- 1:32Speaker 1: raccoons out?
- 1:32Speaker 2: It's such a slow crawd. We're at three point seven
- 1:36Speaker 2: seven right now.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Oh my god, I got out of the three point
- 1:39Speaker 1: five snight. No, that's nice, but can we get to
- 1:42Speaker 1: four thousand? If you could help with that, we would
- 1:44Speaker 1: be very appreciative. Thank you, Thank you in advance. Appreciate
- 1:47Speaker 1: it now. I did hear that Maddie is pregnant for
- 1:51Speaker 1: the fourth time.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't wait to see that in twenty twenty seven.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Are we gonna be able to watch her home birth?
- 1:57Speaker 1: Do you think?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Oh my god, I really don't want Yeah.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I'm sick of the birthing meat too. I didn't need
- 2:02Speaker 1: any of the McKelty footage. No, I just for the record,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I never need any machelty footage. But yeah, I don't
- 2:11Speaker 1: care to see it, but I am happy for her.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, me too. That's great, scoring family, it's lovely for you, great, fantastic.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yes, all right, well let's get into it. Season nineteen,
- 2:21Speaker 1: episode three, entitled.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Am I my Brother's Keeper?
- 2:26Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I don't know what that's in reference to.
- 2:28Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 2:29Speaker 2: I wonder if that was a scene that was cut
- 2:31Speaker 2: in the editing and they just forgot to change the title.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Well, this is Logan's wedding? Is that the brother in question?
- 2:38Speaker 2: Well, we don't even know. I mean, we know it's
- 2:39Speaker 2: Logan's wedding, but nobody's saying it's actually Logan's wedding. It's
- 2:43Speaker 2: just this mysterious event that everybody had to go to.
- 2:45Speaker 1: It was a wedding, it was a bride and a
- 2:47Speaker 1: groom with a bride.
- 2:48Speaker 2: In a groom, so we all assume it's Logan's wedding.
- 2:52Speaker 2: But yeah, they're not saying it because the person doesn't
- 2:56Speaker 2: want to be public, which is fine.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah, but they're still saying it. And once again, they
- 3:02Speaker 1: know that this fandom knows every single thing about the
- 3:05Speaker 1: Browning family. Yeah, and so we already know that Logan
- 3:10Speaker 1: got married to Michelle in October of twenty twenty two.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I had to go back and look because I'm thinking,
- 3:14Speaker 1: to myself, wait a minute, did that happen in twenty
- 3:17Speaker 1: twenty three? Are we moving the timeline forward? The answers, no, nope,
- 3:21Speaker 1: October of twenty twenty two is when they got married.
- 3:25Speaker 1: And furthermore, Logan and Michelle asked that no cameras would
- 3:28Speaker 1: be there and that the family generally did not discuss
- 3:32Speaker 1: the wedding.
- 3:33Speaker 2: And yet they still did.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Yeah, We've got like twenty four minutes of going to
- 3:38Speaker 1: the wedding, talking about the wedding without naming Logan and Michelle,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and then downloading after the wedding and how it all went.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I'm like, the family themselves should know better than to
- 3:49Speaker 1: do that. Yeah, I'm actually kind of surprised at Janelle specifically,
- 3:53Speaker 1: Like if Janelle's son says, mom, I don't want y'all
- 3:55Speaker 1: to talk about me, why are you filming yourself after
- 3:59Speaker 1: the wedding talking about it and.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Talking about how awkward and bittersweet and weird it was,
- 4:06Speaker 2: and Cody being like, yeah, I didn't even want to
- 4:08Speaker 2: go at first. I'm like, how terrible would it be
- 4:11Speaker 2: to be Logan watching this and being like, oh, that's
- 4:14Speaker 2: what my family felt on the day of my wedding,
- 4:16Speaker 2: the happiest day of my life. Oh that's fantastic. Yeah,
- 4:19Speaker 2: I would regret inviting them, Yes me as well, Like
- 4:23Speaker 2: I can't believe that all of these adults couldn't just
- 4:26Speaker 2: set aside their bullshit for one day, for a couple
- 4:30Speaker 2: of hours, Yet all of you had to be weird
- 4:33Speaker 2: and awkward. Nobody could be friendly and cordial to.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Sit with each other, got to sit on the opposite aisle.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So pathetic, very pathetic, so frustrating. Yeah, I mean, I
- 4:45Speaker 1: think Janelle's trying to let us know that, I mean,
- 4:48Speaker 1: she did the best that she could and that it
- 4:50Speaker 1: was definitely a strange vibe. Like she saw Mary and
- 4:53Speaker 1: she nodded to Mary and maybe set a high or
- 4:55Speaker 1: a goodbye, but like nobody really talked to Mary. Yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 1: Christine was a going to talk to Mary. I'm starting
- 5:01Speaker 1: to feel really badly for Mary, me too. And she's
- 5:05Speaker 1: taking it like a chap yeah, like on the couch,
- 5:07Speaker 1: She's like, yeah, you know, there's some folks in the
- 5:09Speaker 1: family that don't want to speak to me or hang
- 5:12Speaker 1: out with me, and so I just gravitate toward the
- 5:15Speaker 1: people who do want to be in my presence.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yikes.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Which is a very mature outlook, but it's also it's
- 5:21Speaker 1: got to hurt.
- 5:21Speaker 2: It's sad actually, because we look at all of these
- 5:25Speaker 2: rewind episodes and all of the family was like together
- 5:28Speaker 2: and dealing with each other, even though they probably didn't
- 5:31Speaker 2: like each other completely, but they were still trying to
- 5:34Speaker 2: be a family. And now here we are in twenty
- 5:36Speaker 2: twenty two, and you guys still can't like put aside
- 5:39Speaker 2: your crap for your child, your child who didn't ask
- 5:43Speaker 2: for any of this.
- 5:44Speaker 1: No, and like, this is the child arguably you probably
- 5:47Speaker 1: owe the most too. Uh huh, this is the child
- 5:49Speaker 1: that did most of the backbreaking work of parenting all
- 5:52Speaker 1: these children. Like the least you could have done is
- 5:54Speaker 1: set your shit aside, show up, put on a happy face,
- 5:57Speaker 1: dance around like a crazy person. Code I smile, Janelle,
- 6:01Speaker 1: and just let it be good for them.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yikes. See, like I give my family a lot of crap.
- 6:07Speaker 2: You know, I talk about my family a lot on
- 6:09Speaker 2: the podcast, but like just a personal story. We'll just
- 6:12Speaker 2: go on. Let's go on, sensals, go on, censor wariant.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Well, let's come back from uncensored. By the way, if
- 6:19Speaker 1: you want access to all the uncensored bits, you gotta
- 6:22Speaker 1: subscribe to us on Patreon, Patreon dot com, slash reality
- 6:25Speaker 1: TV Crinch. We'd love to have you. There's a lot
- 6:27Speaker 1: of great content, but yeah, I don't know why it
- 6:30Speaker 1: had to be that awkward, except again, when you go
- 6:34Speaker 1: back to the timeline, I believe Christine left Cody in September,
- 6:38Speaker 1: like that's when she packed up her house and she left.
- 6:40Speaker 1: She told him before that that it was going to happen.
- 6:43Speaker 1: She was having conversations, but she didn't actually scadaddle until
- 6:47Speaker 1: September twenty twenty two, I believe, And so this is
- 6:50Speaker 1: just one month after that, I guess. And I can
- 6:53Speaker 1: see how Christine would be nervous, which she does tell
- 6:55Speaker 1: the camera that she is.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Sure, I can see how Janelle is also, like, no,
- 7:00Speaker 1: necessarily looking forward to it, although at this point, please
- 7:03Speaker 1: keep in mind Janelle hasn't even had Christmas with Cody
- 7:06Speaker 1: and that big fucking argument that was December twenty twenty two. Yeah,
- 7:10Speaker 1: yea yeah, So with Janelle at Logan's weddings, things are
- 7:14Speaker 1: still kind of in the air, so it's interesting to
- 7:17Speaker 1: kind of get a snapshot of how she was really
- 7:19Speaker 1: feeling at the time. Yeah, but overall, I think the
- 7:23Speaker 1: kids probably had a good time. Sure, I found it
- 7:26Speaker 1: very strange, Beatrice that Cody said that his family was
- 7:31Speaker 1: trying to pretend that they were having such a great
- 7:35Speaker 1: time just to make him feel bad. That's like a
- 7:38Speaker 1: glimpse into the mind of a narcissist.
- 7:40Speaker 2: No, seriously, like, how could you take that personally that
- 7:44Speaker 2: your family's trying to have fun at an event for Logan,
- 7:48Speaker 2: Like they are trying to have fun for him because
- 7:50Speaker 2: this is a terrible thing, Like the whole family's broken up.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Cody is wild. And then Robin being like, yeah, some
- 7:57Speaker 2: of the family came up to me and I love
- 7:59Speaker 2: you from gay so that was good and I embraced him,
- 8:03Speaker 2: but some of the others didn't want anything to do
- 8:05Speaker 2: with me. Victim very much.
- 8:07Speaker 1: So victim. And again Logan's wedding, this is even before
- 8:11Speaker 1: the Christmas chat. Oh my gosh, before the Christmas Chat
- 8:14Speaker 1: right right, I believe it's before the Christmas chat. So
- 8:16Speaker 1: like all of those things haven't really even happened yet.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, so yet Cody and Robin are still acting
- 8:23Speaker 2: like this.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Still acting like victims.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Wow.
- 8:25Speaker 1: And the way Robin was phrasing it in her victimology
- 8:30Speaker 1: was still like she was wondering who was going to
- 8:32Speaker 1: come forward and kiss the ring, Like who's going to
- 8:34Speaker 1: come forward and tell me that they love me or
- 8:37Speaker 1: they're happy to see me. It's all about her.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Now, I don't know if Brianna and Aurora and Dayton went.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I don't know if Solinari went. Robin does kind of
- 8:46Speaker 1: address that a little bit with the little ones, like
- 8:49Speaker 1: she doesn't necessarily want to get them involved in the
- 8:52Speaker 1: family drama. So that's what's making her nervous about the wedding.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Well, yeah, they were saying that in the context of
- 8:58Speaker 2: Cody going back and forth between whether or not he
- 9:01Speaker 2: wanted to go, where he was like, I don't want
- 9:03Speaker 2: to be there, and then Robin's like, yeah, I don't
- 9:05Speaker 2: know if I want to be there because I don't
- 9:07Speaker 2: want to put Saul and Ari through that. And I'm like, oh,
- 9:09Speaker 2: shut up.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I don't even think they went.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Though, yeah, and their kids and they don't care.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I don't know if I think Aurora and Briann, I
- 9:14Speaker 1: think the older ones did go, if I recall correctly,
- 9:16Speaker 1: I could be wrong though.
- 9:17Speaker 2: And I'm sure they didn't interact with anybody, probably freaked
- 9:21Speaker 2: out in the Christmas chap being like, you guys don't
- 9:23Speaker 2: love us.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Right, because it was an awkward vibe at the wedding. Yeah,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and nobody got together for that Thanksgiving.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Yeah, and you also stole our dad, Like that's what
- 9:32Speaker 2: I would think. That's a sibling.
- 9:34Speaker 1: And I'm having an actual reaction to that, and I'm
- 9:36Speaker 1: entitled to it.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Sorry, but Brianna and Aurora. I don't know about Dayton
- 9:42Speaker 1: because he's never really in a lot of these scenes. No, no,
- 9:47Speaker 1: he's not talked about. But I think Aurora and Brianna
- 9:51Speaker 1: are absolutely brainwashed, oh yeah, and had been programmed to
- 9:55Speaker 1: feel this way. And I'm just wondering about a mother
- 9:57Speaker 1: who would feel the need to make her children feel
- 10:01Speaker 1: badly about a family that I think actually loves them.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I don't know why she's like that. Maybe
- 10:06Speaker 2: it's projection though, because nobody likes Robin because you stole
- 10:11Speaker 2: Cody away, Like that's the whole root of it. So
- 10:14Speaker 2: then now you're going to brainwash her kids and think
- 10:16Speaker 2: and make them think everybody hates them, just to isolate
- 10:19Speaker 2: them even further so you have your own perfect little family. Yes,
- 10:23Speaker 2: it's like that picture she created with Christine's kids and everything,
- 10:27Speaker 2: and like it's that manifested manifested She's created her own
- 10:32Speaker 2: family where it's always just been her and Cody and
- 10:35Speaker 2: their kids and that's it. Nobody else exists.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Right, And as Janelle speaks about it, she's like, as
- 10:41Speaker 1: soon as Robin came into the family, there was just
- 10:44Speaker 1: a separateness. She just didn't parent the way that Christine
- 10:47Speaker 1: and I parented. And we'll get there when we get there,
- 10:50Speaker 1: but it's always kind of been that way with Robin,
- 10:52Speaker 1: and she just doesn't understand that she contributed to the
- 10:56Speaker 1: majority of the downfall of these relationships. Can not see
- 11:00Speaker 1: it the bold face lying it's like horse, I wouldn't
- 11:05Speaker 1: let Cody not visit the other wives and their kids,
- 11:07Speaker 1: when that's exactly what she did. Yeah, when we're talking
- 11:11Speaker 1: in the last season about the calendar and the schedule
- 11:14Speaker 1: and how often Cody was actually there and he was
- 11:17Speaker 1: only there from sundown to son up over one night, Like, Robin,
- 11:21Speaker 1: you know this consciously that this is what happened. Yeah,
- 11:24Speaker 1: but you're lying to us. Crazy, it's so crazy making.
- 11:28Speaker 2: When she was saying that about Saul and Arii and
- 11:31Speaker 2: she was like, yeah, I've never used the kids as
- 11:33Speaker 2: an excuse for him to not see the wives, I'm like,
- 11:36Speaker 2: what are you talking about? That was literally was it
- 11:38Speaker 2: last season or the season before where she was like, no,
- 11:41Speaker 2: Ari needs her dad.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Yes, I mean there was when Cody was moving Mary
- 11:46Speaker 1: into the B and B that she has right, he
- 11:49Speaker 1: couldn't be gone for very long. There was also Isabelle's surgery,
- 11:53Speaker 1: like he couldn't go because of COVID and also he
- 11:56Speaker 1: can't be Oh, he can't be away from Ari that long.
- 11:58Speaker 1: So those two right there off the top of my
- 12:00Speaker 1: old head. Yeah, I remember how you absolutely limit the
- 12:04Speaker 1: amount of time that Cody can spend with his family exactly.
- 12:07Speaker 2: And then she's still lying about it. I just it's
- 12:11Speaker 2: mind boggling to me. But then when we get to
- 12:12Speaker 2: the Djenga scene and she looks so fucking unhappy.
- 12:15Speaker 1: She's so dour. Oh my gosh, she's so morose.
- 12:18Speaker 2: So I'm like, what is it like? Are you just
- 12:20Speaker 2: miserable and lying and covering up for Cody because you
- 12:23Speaker 2: feel like you have to, Like is this like a
- 12:26Speaker 2: battered wife type situation? Or are you just like a
- 12:29Speaker 2: miserable person and you're just lying so that way you
- 12:31Speaker 2: can get through all of this hatred and shit, the
- 12:33Speaker 2: show can get canceled and you can be on with
- 12:35Speaker 2: your life.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Or the alternative? Do you want to appear like you're
- 12:38Speaker 1: unhappy and appear like you're depressed, and appear like you're
- 12:41Speaker 1: missing your other children and the other wives, so that
- 12:44Speaker 1: people will have some sympathy and compassion for you.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I think it's actually that I don't think she feels that.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I don't think she wants those kids around. I don't
- 12:52Speaker 1: think she wants them eating out of her fridge. I
- 12:54Speaker 1: don't think she wants to have to compete with the
- 12:56Speaker 1: other wives. I think she's very happy to have Cody
- 12:59Speaker 1: all to herself, but she feels she needs to project
- 13:02Speaker 1: this depression so that people feel like she has feelings.
- 13:05Speaker 2: She doesn't, No, she really does, she does not, but
- 13:08Speaker 2: she does look unhappy with Codys Like, I can't imagine
- 13:12Speaker 2: that you're actually happy with Cody Brown, you know what
- 13:15Speaker 2: I mean? Like, how happy is your marriage with this angry,
- 13:18Speaker 2: punitive balding man. Really?
- 13:22Speaker 1: I think she was really conscious of the cameras too,
- 13:24Speaker 1: because I was watching her constantly look to the side
- 13:27Speaker 1: to check where the cameras were, and so she was
- 13:30Speaker 1: always aware of like what kind of expression she was holding. Yeah,
- 13:34Speaker 1: So I don't trust anything out of her at all
- 13:37Speaker 1: me either. He's like, not at that level to me,
- 13:40Speaker 1: like he doesn't necessarily really care what he says who
- 13:44Speaker 1: hurts in a moment. Whereas Robin is very careful about
- 13:48Speaker 1: what she projects to the public because she knows that
- 13:51Speaker 1: we're judging her, Cody doesn't give a fuck.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Well, and even though she's like, she's not even that
- 13:55Speaker 2: careful because she lies so much and she catches, she's
- 13:59Speaker 2: not catching herself in these lies. Like, if you're this
- 14:02Speaker 2: fucking smart, you should have your lies straight, girl, but
- 14:05Speaker 2: you can't even do that. You're just talking over yourself.
- 14:08Speaker 2: In season nineteen and season eighteen, it's like, it's crazy
- 14:12Speaker 2: to me.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Well, sometimes you lie so much that you start to
- 14:15Speaker 1: believe your own lies. Maybe that's where she is with it,
- 14:18Speaker 1: and maybe she just thinks if she lies enough, people
- 14:21Speaker 1: will start to believe her. Not this group, honey, not
- 14:24Speaker 1: these raccoons, Not this mands. We've been following since season
- 14:27Speaker 1: what we have been following your family. We've seen the
- 14:30Speaker 1: footage of you kicking the dog, bitch, oh my god.
- 14:32Speaker 1: We've seen all the things that you have done and.
- 14:34Speaker 2: The fridge stuff like not letting the kids get out
- 14:37Speaker 2: of the fridge. I love that Janelle called them you.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Oh my god, we've been talking about it for years.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yes, we have. And so then we have the next
- 14:44Speaker 2: scene where Cody's kind of talking about his relationship with Mary.
- 14:48Speaker 2: He's like, I think it's over with now.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Okay, let's stop right there, right because this is the
- 14:54Speaker 1: perfect example, yes, of what caused Mary the confusion for
- 14:58Speaker 1: all of these years, because we've already had the conversation
- 15:01Speaker 1: out on Coyote Pass at the picnic table with very
- 15:05Speaker 1: much a lot of clarity. We've said like, it's never
- 15:08Speaker 1: gonna work. Yep, it's never ever gonna happen. And Mary
- 15:11Speaker 1: made the decision to walk away as well. And I
- 15:14Speaker 1: don't know how many months have passed since then, I
- 15:16Speaker 1: want to say at least half the year, if not longer,
- 15:19Speaker 1: and you're doing the same shit again. Yep, I think
- 15:22Speaker 1: we're broken up. Like what the.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Fuck do you mean? I don't understand. And then he
- 15:27Speaker 2: will acknowledge that he has been going back and forth.
- 15:30Speaker 2: He's like, I understand that Mary's confused, Like I get it,
- 15:34Speaker 2: but you know, I mean, it's been over with for years.
- 15:36Speaker 2: It's like, okay, so what is it?
- 15:37Speaker 1: Then he doesn't know. He talks out of both sides
- 15:40Speaker 1: of his mouth. He's insufferable.
- 15:43Speaker 2: It's so frustrating.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I mean, but Mary has to take a responsibility for
- 15:47Speaker 1: her choice to stay in an unclear situation without any
- 15:51Speaker 1: intimacy or communication for as long as she did. That's
- 15:54Speaker 1: on her. But you can kind of see how a
- 15:56Speaker 1: woman of faith who wants to keep her family together
- 16:00Speaker 1: would be confused by somebody who vacillates as much as
- 16:03Speaker 1: Cody Brown does. Of course, but like, as soon as
- 16:05Speaker 1: you see the footage though, the same things we saw,
- 16:08Speaker 1: we see with him sitting on the couch, and yeah,
- 16:10Speaker 1: how he speaks of her like I could never date
- 16:12Speaker 1: her right like, if I was single right now, I
- 16:15Speaker 1: would not have anything to do with her. So this
- 16:17Speaker 1: is an unkind thing to say that you don't need
- 16:20Speaker 1: to actually voice, Like why does he say that?
- 16:23Speaker 2: Why does he feel the need to say shit like that?
- 16:26Speaker 2: At the same time, you're bitching about how your wives,
- 16:29Speaker 2: your ex wives are talking so much shit about you
- 16:31Speaker 2: and villainizing you to everybody and to your children, and
- 16:35Speaker 2: then you say this crap about them on TV. If
- 16:38Speaker 2: I was single, Mary is single, I would never date her.
- 16:41Speaker 1: And you wonder why the kids have a hard time
- 16:43Speaker 1: with you because you're talking about their mothers. Hello, oh
- 16:46Speaker 1: they love yeah, and who love them? I mean, it's
- 16:49Speaker 1: not it's not a mystery why this is happening to you.
- 16:52Speaker 1: But he's still asking the question, what have I done wrong? Yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 1: i'se crackers.
- 16:57Speaker 2: So crazy. And then he also had to say that
- 17:00Speaker 2: he thinks that him and Janelle could reconcile, which I'm like,
- 17:04Speaker 2: is crazy, he says us on the couch. So this
- 17:07Speaker 2: is after the whole Christmas conversation. I imagine I'm assuming. I
- 17:12Speaker 2: don't know. I guess we can't get cured.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I personally think, based on his balding, we're looking at
- 17:18Speaker 1: a Cody in these scenes from like late twenty twenty
- 17:21Speaker 1: three or spring of twenty twenty four, like a more
- 17:24Speaker 1: recent Cody. So yeah, So he's got some time away
- 17:27Speaker 1: from the Christmas argument and being told to go fuck himself,
- 17:32Speaker 1: and he's realizing what he's losing. He's probably starting to
- 17:35Speaker 1: come to terms. If it's twenty twenty four, baby, Yeah,
- 17:37Speaker 1: he's coming to terms with the fact that he's gonna
- 17:39Speaker 1: have to sell his house, that he doesn't have Janelle's money.
- 17:42Speaker 1: So maybe that's why he sees a world where they
- 17:45Speaker 1: can reconcile. Yeah, but Janelle doesn't want any part of it.
- 17:49Speaker 1: She doesn't think she will ever have to see him
- 17:51Speaker 1: again after Logan's wedding.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Right, which is crazy. That's why I want her to
- 17:56Speaker 2: get her whole. I don't know, Annulman or whatever the
- 17:59Speaker 2: fuck you call it really from the Mormon Church. I'm like,
- 18:01Speaker 2: get released from this dude so you don't have to
- 18:03Speaker 2: spend eternity with him on Colob if that's what.
- 18:06Speaker 1: They weren't going to do that anyway, though, you and
- 18:08Speaker 1: I know that, right what they're not going to Colob.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Well yeah, I mean yeah, but like if you believe that,
- 18:15Speaker 2: if you're still believing in the faith, the.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Well, but like last week you said that a Mormon
- 18:20Speaker 1: woman who was sealed to one man could leave that
- 18:23Speaker 1: man and go to another man and get sealed to
- 18:24Speaker 1: a second man and a third or a fourth man,
- 18:27Speaker 1: so maybe she can bounce around among the planets. Well,
- 18:30Speaker 1: I'm going to fly to this guy's planet for a
- 18:31Speaker 1: little while, Cody, I'll check you out later.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Well, Ethel did correct me on that. She's like, actually,
- 18:37Speaker 2: it's wrong. She's like, you can marry other people. You
- 18:40Speaker 2: are only sealed to one person.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Okay, so you can't have multiple ceilings.
- 18:45Speaker 2: No, so unless you get unsealed, I think, and then
- 18:50Speaker 2: maybe get resealed text me and be like, no, it's
- 18:52Speaker 2: still wrong.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I bet if she if she gets unsealed to Cody,
- 18:57Speaker 1: then she can seal to somebody else's wig exam would
- 19:00Speaker 1: be the incentive, because she is still open to polygamy.
- 19:04Speaker 1: The incentive to get that release would be so that
- 19:06Speaker 1: she can move on into another relationship. She's just not
- 19:08Speaker 1: there yet, yeah, and doesn't want to. But honey, you
- 19:11Speaker 1: don't want to die sealed to Cody Brown. That sounds
- 19:15Speaker 1: like an awful, chaotic planet that you don't want to
- 19:17Speaker 1: be on. Y O, good grief.
- 19:20Speaker 2: I don't get it. And then we have the scene
- 19:23Speaker 2: in Robin and Cody's house, which I surprised we were
- 19:26Speaker 2: in the house this time, where their family is playing
- 19:28Speaker 2: Jenga on the floor eating caramel apples from the QBC
- 19:32Speaker 2: and they look miserable.
- 19:33Speaker 1: But did you look at those caramel apples because it
- 19:36Speaker 1: looked like she cut the she cut just down to
- 19:39Speaker 1: the core and put like a stick in it. I'm like,
- 19:42Speaker 1: who eats the core of an apple? Unless I'm missing something,
- 19:47Speaker 1: But I did stop it and look very closely, and
- 19:49Speaker 1: I thought I saw apple seeds in the core uh
- 19:51Speaker 1: huh bazaar.
- 19:53Speaker 2: She's very weird. I think she bought them from QBC
- 19:55Speaker 2: or something and was like, oh, look at us, We're
- 19:57Speaker 2: having caramel apples and playing Jenga. Were family.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Well when you compare and contrast the e budget of
- 20:05Speaker 1: the Jinga party with uh for example, last week when
- 20:08Speaker 1: Christine's kids and Hunter are all at the table and
- 20:11Speaker 1: Peyton Waltz is in and talks about working at a
- 20:13Speaker 1: strip club, like the energy is so different.
- 20:17Speaker 2: It's so weird and forced, and was it Aurora. I
- 20:21Speaker 2: can never tell them apart because I don't really care
- 20:23Speaker 2: about them. But Aurora is like trying to act all happy,
- 20:26Speaker 2: go lucky and teasing Cody, and poor little Ari is
- 20:30Speaker 2: trying to have fun playing Jinga because she's just a child.
- 20:33Speaker 2: She's just a little kid stuck in this terrible family.
- 20:36Speaker 2: And then Robin just staring.
- 20:38Speaker 1: All weird, Goblin, Roblin, Robin the Goblin. Is this the
- 20:45Speaker 1: section where we get Cody talking about Aries saying that
- 20:52Speaker 1: she hates Christine? Yeah, and the way Cody tells it,
- 20:57Speaker 1: like he immediately sets about to correct her, like we're
- 20:59Speaker 1: not just to hate our mothers. And she's like, well,
- 21:03Speaker 1: but Christine left Daddy, so I hate Christine. And then Cody,
- 21:08Speaker 1: when you think it can't get any worse, he says
- 21:11Speaker 1: something along the lines of and that's a type of
- 21:13Speaker 1: loyalty because that's all he wants, even if it's from
- 21:17Speaker 1: a five year old or a six year old child
- 21:19Speaker 1: who still has a pacifier. Yeah, that loyalty is enough
- 21:23Speaker 1: for him. And he uses that kind of as a
- 21:25Speaker 1: launching pad to then talk about the other older, potentially
- 21:29Speaker 1: adult children and how they also feel the same kind
- 21:32Speaker 1: of loyalty to their mom. But all I was thinking
- 21:36Speaker 1: when I was hearing him recount this was like, you
- 21:39Speaker 1: guys are talking mad shit about Christine in your house,
- 21:42Speaker 1: because that's the only way that Ari would say something.
- 21:46Speaker 1: And that also goes for when they went to say
- 21:49Speaker 1: goodbye to Christine, that really awkward goodbye that mackelty forced
- 21:53Speaker 1: yea last season, and Ari starts talking about just kiss daddy,
- 21:58Speaker 1: you guys should date again or whatever she said that's
- 22:01Speaker 1: coming from inside the house. The call is coming from
- 22:04Speaker 1: inside the house.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Oh for sure, she's only repeating what she's hearing all
- 22:07Speaker 2: the time. But then Cody wants us to think that
- 22:11Speaker 2: the wives are just talking so much shit about him,
- 22:13Speaker 2: and he's actually not that bad of a guy. He
- 22:16Speaker 2: didn't do anything wrong. He did all that he could.
- 22:19Speaker 2: He was intimate with these wives, he was romantic with them,
- 22:22Speaker 2: like I spend all my time with them. Okay, dude,
- 22:26Speaker 2: when you're talking mad shit about the wives in front
- 22:29Speaker 2: of these kids, who also Robin is talking about how
- 22:33Speaker 2: they don't know their siblings, they don't know that the
- 22:36Speaker 2: family's broken up, Sonari, They're apparently unaware of the situation
- 22:40Speaker 2: at hand. And Robin doesn't talk about the other family
- 22:45Speaker 2: in front of the kids because she doesn't want to
- 22:47Speaker 2: hurt their feelings. But that's just another way of separating
- 22:50Speaker 2: her kids from everybody else.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Well, she doesn't want her kids to start asking questions
- 22:56Speaker 1: exactly if they're keeping the spirit and the name of
- 23:00Speaker 1: the siblings in the house, then of course salin ARII
- 23:03Speaker 1: are going to start wondering, well, where are they? And
- 23:06Speaker 1: Robin even says they're going to wonder like, why aren't
- 23:08Speaker 1: they over at our house? Why aren't they over at
- 23:10Speaker 1: my birthday party? And every example that she gave was
- 23:15Speaker 1: the kids coming to them the same question could be
- 23:18Speaker 1: asked of you. Why aren't you taking your kids over
- 23:22Speaker 1: to see Garrison or to see Savannah they live in
- 23:25Speaker 1: the same time town, or over to see Gabe, or
- 23:27Speaker 1: have some sort of a lunch with those siblings. Why
- 23:29Speaker 1: aren't you organizing those types of things? Why does everybody
- 23:33Speaker 1: get to come over to your house?
- 23:34Speaker 2: Exactly? And that's why I was talking about a couple
- 23:36Speaker 2: episodes ago, like with Cody and Robbin's philosophy on its
- 23:40Speaker 2: fifty to fifty relationships go two ways. But you're not
- 23:43Speaker 2: doing anything. You're not making any effort with anybody in
- 23:47Speaker 2: the family. So what you're really saying is that everybody
- 23:50Speaker 2: has to come to you. Everybody has to come cap
- 23:53Speaker 2: in hand and show their loyalty to Cody Brown writes
- 23:57Speaker 2: clan or whatever his club that he has in order
- 24:01Speaker 2: for him to give his love and his respect to
- 24:04Speaker 2: his family. It's wild.
- 24:05Speaker 1: It's not how it works, Noah. And so consequently, what
- 24:09Speaker 1: Robin is doing is she is allowing the children to
- 24:13Speaker 1: forget that they even have six exactly, further entrenching the
- 24:18Speaker 1: separation between your family and everybody else. Like there are
- 24:21Speaker 1: things you could be doing right now to cultivate relationships
- 24:24Speaker 1: outside of marriages, like, yeah, Janelle doesn't need to be
- 24:28Speaker 1: married to Cody for you to have a relationship with
- 24:30Speaker 1: her kids. And she even says in this episode, like,
- 24:33Speaker 1: you know mckelte should have a relationship with Robin. Sure,
- 24:36Speaker 1: any of the kids who want to have a relationship
- 24:37Speaker 1: with Cody and Robin, that is exactly what they should
- 24:39Speaker 1: be able to do. And she supports it. But we
- 24:42Speaker 1: know it's not happening because not even Cody and not
- 24:44Speaker 1: even Robin want it. They're not trying to do that.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Yep. Robin gives me the typical like stepmom vibe of
- 24:51Speaker 2: like I married your dad, so you should accept me
- 24:55Speaker 2: no matter what, even though I'm going to be a
- 24:56Speaker 2: total bitch. I'm not gonna act like I like you
- 25:00Speaker 2: at all, and I'm not going to make any effort
- 25:02Speaker 2: to make you a part of my family. But if
- 25:04Speaker 2: you show any kind of resistance to that or criticism
- 25:10Speaker 2: to that, then I'm going to vilify you. Like that's
- 25:13Speaker 2: like the mentality that Robin.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Has by victimizing myself exactly.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Yes, I hate it. Yes, kisses me off so much.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Like when Gwen was talking about how she was a
- 25:24Speaker 1: young girl she was in Robin's minivan, Robin was pregnant
- 25:30Speaker 1: with must have been Ari, and Gwen makes a childish
- 25:33Speaker 1: comment like, oh wow, we're going to have a sibling,
- 25:37Speaker 1: a blood sibling or something like that, and Robin has
- 25:40Speaker 1: such a huge response, got super wounded and hurt by
- 25:44Speaker 1: it and made it all about her when Gwen was
- 25:46Speaker 1: just saying something that a kid would say. Of course
- 25:48Speaker 1: it doesn't need to be all that right, but that's
- 25:51Speaker 1: what Robin does. She catastrophizes.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and how are you going to get offended by
- 25:56Speaker 2: a child saying something stupid like that's how children are?
- 26:00Speaker 2: How are you gonna be as a grown ass adult.
- 26:02Speaker 1: It's not even stupid, it's facts. Yeah, you could take
- 26:04Speaker 1: a moment and take some time to like explain the
- 26:07Speaker 1: situation and maybe reframe that for her because she's a
- 26:10Speaker 1: child exactly. But no, you're gonna get offended. You're gonna
- 26:13Speaker 1: become the victim, and this is going to perpetuate your
- 26:15Speaker 1: claim that they were never accepted into the family.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 26:19Speaker 1: It was just an innocent comment, yep, that you could
- 26:21Speaker 1: have parented. Oh yeah.
- 26:22Speaker 2: But then Janelle calls it out and says that Cody
- 26:25Speaker 2: and Robin totally mismanaged how they handled their kids, And
- 26:29Speaker 2: I'm like, please give me more of this this season,
- 26:32Speaker 2: because that is so honest and so true. Because they
- 26:35Speaker 2: didn't parent the kids in a way where they could
- 26:38Speaker 2: mesh the whole family together. They made that separateness, they
- 26:42Speaker 2: made it all the other kids feel like they were othered,
- 26:45Speaker 2: and now you have this huge fucking mess. But miss
- 26:48Speaker 2: me with this whole Robin, I'm depressed. I'm going through
- 26:52Speaker 2: a season of depression and it's really hard with her
- 26:56Speaker 2: fake tears, Yeah, eating caramel apples.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Yes, yes, absolutely, Now I was watching Red Lipstick Reality TV,
- 27:05Speaker 1: which by the way, is on YouTube. Love the channel.
- 27:08Speaker 1: You should definitely check her out, subscribe she is, She's
- 27:12Speaker 1: the Besnys. But she was talking about how there's nothing
- 27:16Speaker 1: inherently wrong with the way that Robin parents versus somebody
- 27:22Speaker 1: like Christine and somebody like Janelle. Like Janelle and Christine
- 27:25Speaker 1: obviously had a much looser way that they parented, like
- 27:29Speaker 1: Janelle's kids went into Christine's kitchen, ate up all the
- 27:31Speaker 1: food and vice versa. But Robin wasn't that kind of parent,
- 27:35Speaker 1: and so maybe she wanted to have a little bit
- 27:37Speaker 1: more of a limitation on what the kids ate or
- 27:40Speaker 1: what they did in her home, and yeah, that's a
- 27:42Speaker 1: little bit more stuffy, But there's nothing inherently wrong with
- 27:46Speaker 1: Robin parenting that way, And I would agree with that.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I mean, personally, I think kids probably flourish more with
- 27:55Speaker 1: Janelle's type of parenting. But like structure that way, Like
- 27:59Speaker 1: structure like Robin imposed on all of the kids isn't
- 28:02Speaker 1: bad necessarily. I'm just trying to advocate a little bit.
- 28:06Speaker 1: When I was watching Robin with her kids, I thought
- 28:09Speaker 1: she seems to really love them, She really loved Ason Archer,
- 28:14Speaker 1: she seems to really care about MACALTI. I didn't feel
- 28:17Speaker 1: that to be fake.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean with some of the kids, but like
- 28:23Speaker 2: any of the other kids, if there was any kind
- 28:25Speaker 2: of resistance, like she took that personal and then never
- 28:27Speaker 2: really tried to make that better. Like she's still the parent,
- 28:31Speaker 2: she's still the adult, Like she should have made more
- 28:34Speaker 2: of an effort with the other kids. I don't think
- 28:35Speaker 2: there's anything wrong with having structure in terms of parenting either,
- 28:39Speaker 2: But like she had a whole ass sign right on
- 28:42Speaker 2: her fridge that was like, if you want food out
- 28:45Speaker 2: of here, you need to talk to Robin or mindy
- 28:47Speaker 2: or something, which to me is absolutely ridiculous. I think,
- 28:51Speaker 2: because you have this big, giant family, you want everybody
- 28:54Speaker 2: to be included. You have this dream allegedly, if we're
- 28:58Speaker 2: supposed to believe you, that you want all of your
- 29:00Speaker 2: grandkids to be playing out on your property and you
- 29:02Speaker 2: want everybody to be in and out of your house
- 29:04Speaker 2: like you want this big, giant, cohesive family. But then
- 29:08Speaker 2: you don't really act like that. That's weird to me.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I feel like if you have
- 29:14Speaker 1: eighteen kids running through your house and taking up all
- 29:16Speaker 1: your resources, it might be okay to put some parameters
- 29:19Speaker 1: on that. But I do think the appearance of that
- 29:22Speaker 1: ended up being well, Robin doesn't want to share, Robin
- 29:24Speaker 1: wants to hoard, Robin wants to keep all of these resources.
- 29:27Speaker 1: And were her kids, she says, were her kids, and
- 29:29Speaker 1: she won't let us have any like when we want it.
- 29:32Speaker 1: So that lent itself to the estrangement with the children.
- 29:36Speaker 1: But I'm just saying fundamentally, I don't see anything really
- 29:40Speaker 1: wrong with that, Like, if I have a bunch of kids,
- 29:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna be like, no, you better ask me before
- 29:42Speaker 1: you eat up all my bread. Now and eat up
- 29:44Speaker 1: all my steaks and stuff.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, if the resources are shared equally. But
- 29:49Speaker 2: like Janelle's and Christine's kids were having a hard time
- 29:52Speaker 2: getting food sometimes because Robin had all the fucking money.
- 29:56Speaker 2: And then you have this big old flag Staff, big mansion,
- 29:58Speaker 2: whereas Janelle's in a rental and Christine's doing whatever the
- 30:01Speaker 2: fuck she's doing.
- 30:02Speaker 1: She's an rvy baby, you know what I mean.
- 30:05Speaker 2: So of course the kids would want to come over
- 30:07Speaker 2: and be like, yeah, mom number four, can I have
- 30:09Speaker 2: some food? Like Mary's got fucking nothing but bananas. Janelle's
- 30:14Speaker 2: in an rvy. I mean, Christine is not cooking much
- 30:18Speaker 2: because she's doing all of her plexus bullshit. So like
- 30:21Speaker 2: I'm hungry, right, you know what I mean? Where Robin's
- 30:24Speaker 2: got this huge ass bridge. Yes, oh that's us all
- 30:28Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 30:28Speaker 1: I'm playing as a world though, where all of these
- 30:30Speaker 1: women could have been different in their parenting styles and
- 30:34Speaker 1: they still could have kept this family together totally. And
- 30:37Speaker 1: I do think that Robin's style of parenting tipped over
- 30:40Speaker 1: into competitiveness and also again hoarding those resources which the
- 30:44Speaker 1: kids are always going to pick up on exact you
- 30:46Speaker 1: can tell them you love them as much as you want,
- 30:48Speaker 1: but they're gonna sniff that out. And I think they
- 30:50Speaker 1: did with Robin.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Oh, they for sure did. And then we have Mickelty
- 30:54Speaker 2: in her sea section. Do we care?
- 30:56Speaker 1: We? I mean, here's the thing. I don't care about
- 30:59Speaker 1: the season. I don't care about her having a high
- 31:02Speaker 1: heart rate. I don't care about it going down as
- 31:04Speaker 1: soon as Tony enters. I do not care. I don't
- 31:08Speaker 1: care about her seeing the children come out of her belly.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Don't care about mchelt. What I cared about was the
- 31:15Speaker 1: discussion around Robin and mckelty's relationship. Yeah, because this was
- 31:21Speaker 1: maybe the only time I ever heard McKelty speak where
- 31:25Speaker 1: I felt moved by what she said. Yeah, And what
- 31:28Speaker 1: she said was that Robin the reason she wants Robin
- 31:30Speaker 1: there when the babies are born, and she wants Robin
- 31:33Speaker 1: to be there to help her with the babies in
- 31:34Speaker 1: those first few days, was because she has a special
- 31:37Speaker 1: bond with Robin, and Robin made her feel seen and
- 31:42Speaker 1: heard and like she was special. And Cody said that
- 31:47Speaker 1: Robin's relationship with Michelty was actually a blessing for him
- 31:50Speaker 1: and Christine. Yeah, because, for whatever reason, at the time
- 31:54Speaker 1: him and Christine weren't appreciating who McKelty was. Didn't necessary
- 32:00Speaker 1: I really want McKelty around. It sounds like Christine was
- 32:02Speaker 1: more than happy to ship McKelty off to go live
- 32:05Speaker 1: with Robin for a period of time. Yeah, And of
- 32:07Speaker 1: course McKelty felt that. Of course, fourteen or thirteen or
- 32:11Speaker 1: fifteen years old.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I felt that. And when mickelty cried, I'm like, dang, Like,
- 32:15Speaker 2: so I get it. Like McKelty does get a lot
- 32:17Speaker 2: of hate for her relationship with Robin and Cody, and
- 32:20Speaker 2: we've even given her some hate and continue to do so,
- 32:23Speaker 2: especially as she's an adult and she can see the
- 32:26Speaker 2: situation objectively and like understand what her dad and Robin
- 32:29Speaker 2: did to her mom. But nevertheless, like as a kid,
- 32:32Speaker 2: I totally get that. I felt that so hard for
- 32:35Speaker 2: her to be like so misunderstood. We've seen even in
- 32:38Speaker 2: some of the earlier seasons, like the clashes that Christine
- 32:41Speaker 2: had with not only McKelty, but she was having clashes
- 32:44Speaker 2: with Gwendolyn too in her teens and everything. And so
- 32:48Speaker 2: I felt bad for McKelty a little bit, And I'm
- 32:51Speaker 2: glad that she has that relationship with Robin, but or
- 32:53Speaker 2: did or did, but I mean Robin I think just
- 32:58Speaker 2: weaponized that. Unfortunately, I don't think it was like necessarily healthy.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Like I'm sure Mickelty and Robin had an okay relationship,
- 33:07Speaker 2: but I think Robin kind of like twisted that in
- 33:10Speaker 2: some way, maybe over the other wives, maybe over the
- 33:13Speaker 2: other kids, or like maybe she used that as a
- 33:15Speaker 2: standard of how all of the relationships with all the
- 33:17Speaker 2: other kids should have gone, and that's why she doesn't
- 33:20Speaker 2: have relationships with the rest of them. I don't know.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not sure if she weaponized it. I think
- 33:25Speaker 1: I wouldn't be surprised if she did. I did notice
- 33:29Speaker 1: a couple of the things that she said more than
- 33:32Speaker 1: anything else. When she said something like I'm going to
- 33:35Speaker 1: be here to take care of everything, and then Christine'll
- 33:39Speaker 1: come and I'll pass her the baton. Like the way
- 33:41Speaker 1: she phrased that, I don't know if she meant for
- 33:44Speaker 1: it to come across as you. Yeah, she wants me
- 33:47Speaker 1: to be here, she wants me to be the one
- 33:49Speaker 1: to help her with the kids, and then whenever Christine
- 33:51Speaker 1: can figure it out, Christine will come over and I'll
- 33:54Speaker 1: get to go home. But like the way she did that,
- 33:56Speaker 1: I was like, oh, you're still taking little jobs, and
- 34:00Speaker 1: that's Christine's daughter. And as much as you say, like,
- 34:03Speaker 1: I'm never gonna come between them, I totally respect Christine's
- 34:07Speaker 1: position as Micheltie's mom. Nonetheless, I felt like, I think
- 34:13Speaker 1: she loves it when Michelti for example, when Mickelty honored
- 34:18Speaker 1: her and told her about the twins before she even
- 34:20Speaker 1: told Christine.
- 34:21Speaker 2: I think she eats that up, That's what I'm saying. Yep, yeah,
- 34:24Speaker 2: And she even made a comment to she was like
- 34:26Speaker 2: I was handed Archer first, Like yes, she always got it,
- 34:29Speaker 2: like the other thing competition. I'm like, what is wrong
- 34:32Speaker 2: with you? You were such an old lady, like get
- 34:35Speaker 2: your shit together, you know what I mean.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I don't even think she knows that she's doing it
- 34:38Speaker 1: when she's doing it. I think she was trying to
- 34:40Speaker 1: set up a sentimental moment, and I actually felt that
- 34:44Speaker 1: from her when she talks about her holding Ace or
- 34:48Speaker 1: Archer and Christine holding the other one, and then she
- 34:51Speaker 1: kind of gets super clemped and she talks about like
- 34:54Speaker 1: it's just two grandma's holding the babies. Like I think
- 34:57Speaker 1: I felt her feeling that for real, and like feeling
- 35:01Speaker 1: the loss of everything that could have been if the
- 35:04Speaker 1: family stayed together. But I see that you don't agree. Yeah,
- 35:08Speaker 1: I mean I kind of believed that she was sad
- 35:10Speaker 1: about that. But at the same time, and again, she
- 35:13Speaker 1: can't help but just take the jobs and always need
- 35:16Speaker 1: to position herself at the top.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Right, And it'd be one thing if you were sad
- 35:21Speaker 2: and you didn't, you know, contribute to the breakup of
- 35:24Speaker 2: the family, But like you did, and you can't acknowledge that, right,
- 35:27Speaker 2: So you still want to play this victim like you're
- 35:29Speaker 2: the idiot that got left behind and you didn't see
- 35:32Speaker 2: any of this coming and blah blah blah, like you
- 35:35Speaker 2: literally contributed to it.
- 35:37Speaker 1: And it spans so many different issues, Like it spans
- 35:42Speaker 1: finances and all the money that you hoarded and all
- 35:44Speaker 1: of your investments. It spans time with the kids and
- 35:48Speaker 1: all of the time that your children got with Cody
- 35:50Speaker 1: that all these other kids didn't get. It spans the
- 35:53Speaker 1: romantic relationships that Cody had with these wives that he
- 35:56Speaker 1: wasn't able to upkeep or didn't want to because he
- 35:58Speaker 1: started to prefer you, like you have an impact in
- 36:01Speaker 1: all of these different ways, but you have an inability
- 36:05Speaker 1: to see that, or a refusal to acknowledge. I'm not
- 36:08Speaker 1: sure which it is. I think with Cody it's an
- 36:11Speaker 1: inability or a lack of capacity to even understand the
- 36:14Speaker 1: shit that he's done. With Robin. My senses, she knows,
- 36:18Speaker 1: she knows what she's done, and this is her campaign
- 36:21Speaker 1: to try and pretend that she didn't do it.
- 36:23Speaker 2: That's so wild to me, Like how can you do
- 36:26Speaker 2: that though, like when you're on National TV, Like I
- 36:28Speaker 2: don't understand. It's super wicked. And like, even going back
- 36:31Speaker 2: to your point about all of the time that Cody
- 36:34Speaker 2: have with all of her kids, like when they were
- 36:36Speaker 2: playing the stupid Jenga on the floor, Cody's talking about
- 36:39Speaker 2: how he has this lovely family experience with them, and
- 36:42Speaker 2: they have summers where they go to music camps and
- 36:44Speaker 2: like he's involved, like very involved with all of the
- 36:47Speaker 2: kids' activities, and they play music at home and they
- 36:50Speaker 2: have like a really lovely time and everything's great. And
- 36:53Speaker 2: I'm just like all of your other kids are watching
- 36:56Speaker 2: this and looking back on their years of childhood where
- 37:00Speaker 2: they didn't get to have you, like you were gone
- 37:03Speaker 2: for a lot of their adolescence time, Like you were
- 37:05Speaker 2: there in the Utah House when everything was magic and
- 37:08Speaker 2: you got to be in the same house with all
- 37:10Speaker 2: of them, and so they had you there and then
- 37:12Speaker 2: when you left and he went to Vegas and then Flagstaff,
- 37:15Speaker 2: like they didn't get any of that time.
- 37:17Speaker 1: You were only there when the cameras were there. That's it.
- 37:20Speaker 2: And yet Cody still has the goal. Like when Christine
- 37:22Speaker 2: was saying her kids were frustrated because they saw Robin
- 37:28Speaker 2: and Cody be a couple, but they didn't get to
- 37:30Speaker 2: see Cody and Christine be a couple. Like I felt
- 37:32Speaker 2: that the kids are not stupid. They can see that
- 37:35Speaker 2: their parents hate each other. It's like when my parents
- 37:37Speaker 2: were going to get divorced. We saw it coming years before,
- 37:40Speaker 2: and my dad like when they sat us down and
- 37:42Speaker 2: told him, told us we're getting divorced. I was like, yeah,
- 37:45Speaker 2: I figured thank god, duh, you guys are terrible together,
- 37:48Speaker 2: like please buy. My dad was like so distraught. He's like,
- 37:51Speaker 2: how did you know? How could you see? I'm like,
- 37:54Speaker 2: you think we're dumb, right, We can see you guys
- 37:56Speaker 2: act to each other. And then Cody's sitting there still
- 37:59Speaker 2: trying to back and be like, no, I was romantic
- 38:01Speaker 2: with Christine. No, I was involved with the kids, Like
- 38:04Speaker 2: what I know? I don't get it, uh.
- 38:08Speaker 1: I mean, when was the last time you actually slept
- 38:10Speaker 1: with Christine?
- 38:11Speaker 2: Though?
- 38:11Speaker 1: I mean and with Mary it had been years, So
- 38:14Speaker 1: like define romantic with Christine right the way Christine describes it.
- 38:18Speaker 1: You're showing up at like dinner time, and you're leaving
- 38:21Speaker 1: before coffee and you hardly even see your kids.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Right, But then you have this lovely family experience with
- 38:27Speaker 2: Robin and your kids, and then you wonder why your
- 38:30Speaker 2: adult kids or all your other kids don't want anything
- 38:33Speaker 2: to do with you.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Did you hear him say though that he was hopeful
- 38:35Speaker 1: that he would fall back into fellowship with his kids. Yes,
- 38:38Speaker 1: And I think what he said was like maybe after
- 38:40Speaker 1: a phone call or two, like we'll be able to
- 38:43Speaker 1: get the band back together. And I'm like, after a
- 38:45Speaker 1: phone call, Like you think you can just pick up
- 38:47Speaker 1: a phone and say, hey, how are you doing Gabe,
- 38:50Speaker 1: and how you doing Hunters? You wouldn't call them, He
- 38:52Speaker 1: wouldn't like after a phone call and not like an
- 38:57Speaker 1: event where you take accountability. I've done and and have
- 39:02Speaker 1: some ownership in the destruction of this family, Like you
- 39:06Speaker 1: don't think you're gonna have to do that. No, on
- 39:08Speaker 1: that phone call, though, you just think you're gonna call
- 39:10Speaker 1: and ask about their cars or their girlfriends, or what
- 39:12Speaker 1: they're doing in life or their jobs, and everything is
- 39:14Speaker 1: gonna be back to normal.
- 39:15Speaker 2: It's not. No, he expects his kids to call him
- 39:18Speaker 2: and say, I'm sorry, Dad, I really want to be
- 39:20Speaker 2: loyal to you again, and I love you. Can we
- 39:23Speaker 2: have a relationships we're calling back. Please cap in hand, Daddy.
- 39:27Speaker 1: It's never going to happen, Cody, He's never gonna happen,
- 39:29Speaker 1: And it's bizarre that you would think that it would.
- 39:31Speaker 2: No, it's so weird to me. It's so weird. I
- 39:34Speaker 2: would love to see what he's like now after Garrison's passing.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Like I've said before, like I hope that that maybe
- 39:41Speaker 2: changed him a little bit for the better. Maybe that
- 39:44Speaker 2: was your wake up call and you realize, like, oh fuck,
- 39:47Speaker 2: I've been a piece of shit father. I need to
- 39:50Speaker 2: be more involved with my kids and let this shit
- 39:52Speaker 2: go so I can have a relationship with the rest
- 39:54Speaker 2: of my family. But I don't think that happened, and
- 39:56Speaker 2: I don't think we're gonna see that because we're still
- 39:59Speaker 2: in twenty twenty too.
- 40:01Speaker 1: So let's fast forward a little bit to the tell
- 40:05Speaker 1: all or to the Sukiana interviews that are going to
- 40:07Speaker 1: happen at the end of this season. Do we think
- 40:09Speaker 1: that those interviews have already been conducted or do we
- 40:13Speaker 1: think you do? Do you think they were conducted before
- 40:15Speaker 1: the passing of Garrison? I mean, like, even if so,
- 40:19Speaker 1: you would think that they would have to do another
- 40:21Speaker 1: series or another round of interviews after Garrison's passing. When
- 40:25Speaker 1: do we think that's filmed?
- 40:26Speaker 2: Oh? God, I don't know.
- 40:27Speaker 1: And then the timeline of the airing of the season.
- 40:30Speaker 2: I mean, they said this season was going to fast
- 40:32Speaker 2: forward to that time, right like after Garrison's PA they.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Said they were going to address it. They didn't say
- 40:36Speaker 1: they were going to move through the entire season. So
- 40:38Speaker 1: that we end at that point.
- 40:40Speaker 2: I feel like it's going to be interviews from twenty
- 40:41Speaker 2: twenty three.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Then, so are we not going to talk about Garrison
- 40:44Speaker 1: with Sukiana. I can't imagine that they would ever do that.
- 40:47Speaker 1: I mean, I know this, I know Tilsea hates us,
- 40:49Speaker 1: I know this production company sucks ass, but I just
- 40:53Speaker 1: can't imagine that we wouldn't have a glimpse of post
- 40:57Speaker 1: Garrison Cody and Robin. It will be very, very interesting
- 41:00Speaker 1: to see what he says. But I'm just gonna predict
- 41:03Speaker 1: it's not gonna be a lot of change.
- 41:05Speaker 2: It's probably gonna be really bad.
- 41:06Speaker 1: It's gonna be deflection. I don't know that he would
- 41:09Speaker 1: outright blame the other moms or anything like that, but
- 41:12Speaker 1: I just I don't see him taking any ownership, even
- 41:15Speaker 1: if the interview was conducted today.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't. I don't see that at all. I
- 41:19Speaker 2: don't see him being like emotional about the passing in
- 41:22Speaker 2: the right way, like I don't. I don't see him
- 41:24Speaker 2: being like, man, I really wish I could have said
- 41:27Speaker 2: something to him. I really wish I could have talked
- 41:28Speaker 2: to him again. I feel like he's gonna be really shitty.
- 41:32Speaker 2: I feel like he's gonna just deflect and be like, yeah,
- 41:34Speaker 2: like I haven't talked to Garrison in a few years,
- 41:36Speaker 2: and so this happened, and this was terrible and just.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Not my fault.
- 41:39Speaker 2: It's not my fault. Don't blame me. Yeah, I know
- 41:42Speaker 2: everybody else is blaming me, but it's not my fault.
- 41:44Speaker 1: That would just be so incredibly wild.
- 41:47Speaker 2: It'd be on par for him.
- 41:48Speaker 1: I mean, as a parent, and there's so many parents
- 41:51Speaker 1: out there listening and watching, like if that happened to
- 41:54Speaker 1: one of us, I mean, wouldn't it change you down
- 41:57Speaker 1: to your DNA. Wouldn't it change your experience of yourself
- 42:02Speaker 1: and your life. Wouldn't you have to go to therapy.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Wouldn't you have to take major stock of all of
- 42:06Speaker 1: your choices, everything, even if you didn't have anything to
- 42:09Speaker 1: do with it or didn't contribute in any way. Wouldn't
- 42:11Speaker 1: you live your life in such a way that you
- 42:13Speaker 1: felt that you did so if he shows up and
- 42:17Speaker 1: he is unrepentant and he has taken ownership of nothing,
- 42:20Speaker 1: which is like what we have seen for the past
- 42:22Speaker 1: I don't know how many years. It's getting so exhausting,
- 42:25Speaker 1: but if he does that, it will be incredible.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Oh my god, there would be no hope for him ever. Ever.
- 42:32Speaker 2: He's just like the worst human being to ever. I mean, really,
- 42:37Speaker 2: he's so terrible. He's so terrible. So back to your
- 42:40Speaker 2: question about Sukiana's interviews, I don't feel like they're going
- 42:43Speaker 2: to be after Garrison's passing. I don't think they're going
- 42:46Speaker 2: to give us that because they fucking hate us. They
- 42:49Speaker 2: think we're dumb, and they think that we want to
- 42:51Speaker 2: see content from two years ago.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Which is so insane to me.
- 42:57Speaker 2: I know, but look at what they're doing with Platfill
- 43:00Speaker 2: I know.
- 43:01Speaker 1: I mean, they're ruining the show, but at least with
- 43:03Speaker 1: Plaithfall that happened in twenty twenty three, twenty twenty four,
- 43:07Speaker 1: you're still somewhat current. But Sister Wives is egregious, it's bad.
- 43:12Speaker 1: At twenty twenty two, we're looking at something that happened
- 43:14Speaker 1: and we were dealing with. We were ahead in season eighteen. Yeah,
- 43:19Speaker 1: we were already ahead, and so we've gone back.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it's crazy, it's wild. Yes, we're still gonna watch, Yes.
- 43:26Speaker 1: It is, and maybe they'll fast forward it. But I
- 43:28Speaker 1: just I have absolutely no confidence in this production team
- 43:31Speaker 1: at all.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Yeah, me neither. Then we have the preview for next
- 43:35Speaker 2: episode where we have Thanksgiving with Cody and Robin's sad
- 43:38Speaker 2: ass family.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Then we have okay, but what so is this Thanksgiving
- 43:43Speaker 1: twenty twenty two, which is the Thanksgiving they were arguing
- 43:46Speaker 1: about last year, which is a Thanksgiving We kind of
- 43:48Speaker 1: already saw though, because we had Janelle and Christine getting
- 43:52Speaker 1: the Airbnb, Like I think, so, are we just doing
- 43:54Speaker 1: the same Thanksgiving that we already did. Yeah, it would
- 43:56Speaker 1: be one thing if it was Thanksgiving twenty twenty three.
- 43:59Speaker 1: That's still you're it's okay, I'm.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Sorry, it's twenty twenty sorry. Yeah. And then we have Robin.
- 44:06Speaker 2: I guess she's slept in the closet at Tony mckelty's house.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Such a martyr, might just say, such a good person
- 44:12Speaker 2: for sleeping on the floor of the closet, like Clayton's
- 44:15Speaker 2: mom from ninety fiance. And then we have Robin and
- 44:20Speaker 2: Cody arguing outside in the snow, arguing, yeah about Cody
- 44:25Speaker 2: fixing his relationships with the kids, because Robin wants us
- 44:28Speaker 2: to believe that. She's telling him over and over again,
- 44:31Speaker 2: be a good dad.
- 44:32Speaker 1: If you have to camp out on their doorstep, do so. Okay,
- 44:36Speaker 1: I don't believe it.
- 44:37Speaker 2: No, why are we out in the snow? Also, why
- 44:39Speaker 2: can't we be in your house again?
- 44:40Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 44:41Speaker 2: Did we just clean out that one little space in
- 44:43Speaker 2: the living room.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Little section with that weird art like the John Wayne's
- 44:47Speaker 1: stuff in the art and the custer of it all
- 44:49Speaker 1: as sets the assets, that's right, the investments, indeed.
- 44:54Speaker 2: God, Yeah, that's it. That's it.
- 44:57Speaker 1: That's all we've got for you. It's all she wrote, Beatrice,
- 45:00Speaker 1: Is there anything else that we want to say to
- 45:02Speaker 1: these beautiful raccoons before we get up on out of here?
- 45:05Speaker 2: Well, if you love our podcast, I don't know why,
- 45:08Speaker 2: but you should go to your favorite podcast platform and
- 45:11Speaker 2: leave us a glowing five star review. Well, I don't
- 45:14Speaker 2: know why they haven't done it yet.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Oh I got it because of course they love it.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Someone left us a three star review, but it was
- 45:20Speaker 2: actually a five star review, so please go change that
- 45:23Speaker 2: was star. Yeah, I think they accidentally selected three, but
- 45:27Speaker 2: they wrote like a paragraph about how amazing we were.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Okay, so please change it back to it's not that
- 45:31Speaker 1: woman who complained that you said eat the box too much? No,
- 45:35Speaker 1: why do you always going to bring up eating the box?
- 45:37Speaker 2: It's so girl because I like to get my box
- 45:39Speaker 2: at Yeah, because you have a resident lesbian over here
- 45:42Speaker 2: and she likes to make fun of me.
- 45:43Speaker 1: For she is an expert of eating boxes. But yes,
- 45:47Speaker 1: please do leave us a review. It actually really does
- 45:50Speaker 1: help the pod, and most of our listeners actually listen
- 45:53Speaker 1: to us. Yeah, the podcast not on YouTube, but YouTube,
- 45:56Speaker 1: don't forget like gobbet shares. Subscribe. It really does help
- 46:00Speaker 1: and we will be back later this week to talk
- 46:02Speaker 1: about mom talk and I'll soap girl. Welcome, Welcome to God. Absolutely,
- 46:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna try and have a good attitude though, yeah, okay,
- 46:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna have a good attitude about it to make
- 46:12Speaker 1: sure to come back and join us. And until then,
- 46:14Speaker 1: please do not forget that we have nothing but love
- 46:16Speaker 1: for you, and pee a light, Okay,
