- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, so what just happened to you, Richard? It's
- 0:02Speaker 1: so dumb. Well, you know, I'm still kind of hobbled up.
- 0:04Speaker 1: I'm still walking around with one crutch. So I was
- 0:07Speaker 1: trying to use the boys' room before. We came back
- 0:10Speaker 1: from the song.
- 0:11Speaker 2: But when you say you're hobbling on one crutch, if
- 0:13Speaker 2: you're just tuning in, he tore his meniscus by falling
- 0:15Speaker 2: in the bathtub two weeks ago.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. It's actually torn?
- 0:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. MRI. Torn, torn, torn. Walking around with
- 0:22Speaker 2: a crutch.
- 0:23Speaker 1: So anyway, I'm hobbling pretty quick, and I have my
- 0:26Speaker 1: little monitor so I can hear what the station's doing.
- 0:29Speaker 1: So I use the bathroom and quickly turn, and my
- 0:32Speaker 1: headphones fly off me and right into the toilet, just
- 0:36Speaker 1: where I use the bathroom. So I guess those are gone.
- 0:39Speaker 1: But these are the headphones.
- 0:41Speaker 2: They're little in-ears, and they're custom-made for your ears. They're
- 0:46Speaker 2: very expensive. They are very expensive. So now you're going
- 0:48Speaker 2: to throw them away? Because it's your own piece.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I'm going to clean them.
- 0:51Speaker 3: You have to just wash them.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I'm going to clean them, but I didn't have time
- 0:53Speaker 1: to clean them, so I just threw them back in
- 0:54Speaker 1: the box. And I'll clean them, but I don't even
- 0:57Speaker 1: know if they're going to work or not since they
- 0:59Speaker 1: got wet. Who knows?
- 1:00Speaker 2: It's going to sound like when you hear us, it's
- 1:01Speaker 2: going to sound like we're gargling. They're expensive, man. I've
- 1:06Speaker 2: dropped a phone in the toilet before.
- 1:08Speaker 4: It's everyone else that used the restroom before me, which
- 1:11Speaker 4: is what would freak me out.
- 1:12Speaker 2: That's true. Here's the thing. It's early, and Rich is
- 1:16Speaker 2: probably the first person to use that bathroom. I am not.
- 1:18Speaker 2: They usually come in and they scrub it crazy.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I walked right in after Matt. Just walked right out.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Down the hall.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Christina, what's up? Good morning. You're on the air.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Hi.
- 1:29Speaker 5: I had sent a text because I had the same
- 1:32Speaker 5: problem with my texting that Kyle had yesterday. with hers,
- 1:36Speaker 5: but I have an iPhone.
- 1:39Speaker 2: You're talking about, you couldn't, you couldn't get group texts
- 1:42Speaker 2: or something, Kyle?
- 1:43Speaker 5: Like I would miss certain group texts from like one
- 1:46Speaker 5: person in the group and, or like something like that,
- 1:50Speaker 5: but like they weren't coming through and then it started
- 1:52Speaker 5: happening more and more.
- 1:53Speaker 1: With other people.
- 1:54Speaker 5: And then Apple was like, I have no idea. We've
- 1:56Speaker 5: never seen this before.
- 1:57Speaker 3: That is so frustrating.
- 1:59Speaker 6: So we, so over the weekend also what we, like
- 2:02Speaker 6: I was trying to get to still fix this situation.
- 2:06Speaker 6: not knowing that I've probably been missing a lot of texts.
- 2:10Speaker 6: And my friend went on Claude and ChatGPT and the
- 2:14Speaker 6: Google AI and all, like, I tried everything. And then
- 2:18Speaker 6: I went back into my ChatGPT and I was like, okay,
- 2:22Speaker 6: you said before that other people have been reporting this.
- 2:25Speaker 6: Has anybody else reported an actual fix? And If you
- 2:29Speaker 6: had the same problem with me on an Android, I
- 2:31Speaker 6: don't know what the iPhone fix is. I think a
- 2:33Speaker 6: lot of people had told me that you have to
- 2:35Speaker 6: turn RCS chats on to get your group texts with Androids.
- 2:39Speaker 6: But basically all I had to do was go into
- 2:42Speaker 6: the actual Play Store and uninstall updates on Google Messages.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Turn off the phone, turn it back on.
- 2:49Speaker 6: And when I did that, 61 messages popped up.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. You're like, see, people do
- 2:55Speaker 1: like me. Sorry I missed your texts.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Then you have to go in. And, like, sign me
- 3:00Speaker 5: out of, like, my Apple account in FaceTime and the messages.
- 3:05Speaker 5: Sign me back in. And then all the messages were
- 3:08Speaker 5: in my deleted messages.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Oh, wow. That's so crazy.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Phones technology is so bizarre.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Or somebody's got your account, Christina.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:17Speaker 1: An ex or something.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Well, and so I have one more thing because I
- 3:19Speaker 5: know you guys moved fast. So I'm like– so there
- 3:21Speaker 5: was two things that both from the show– so over
- 3:24Speaker 5: the weekend, my– My husband was with my father-in-law and
- 3:28Speaker 5: mother-in-law and one of their friends. And my father-in-law confessed
- 3:32Speaker 5: that he had hooked up with my mother-in-law's friend when
- 3:36Speaker 5: they were in college before they got together. And she
- 3:39Speaker 5: never knew. They've been married 50 years and she never knew.
- 3:43Speaker 5: And I was like, oh my God, this just happened
- 3:46Speaker 5: on John Jay and Rich. But the girl ended the
- 3:48Speaker 5: engagement when she found out. And I'm like, this has
- 3:51Speaker 5: been going on 50 years and your mother-in-law still doesn't
- 3:54Speaker 5: know that This woman she's, like, friends with has slept
- 3:57Speaker 5: with your father-in-law. With my father-in-law.
- 4:01Speaker 1: That's a long secret to keep.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Is the best friend still in her life or in
- 4:05Speaker 2: their life? Yes. Wow.
- 4:06Speaker 5: Yeah, but my mother-in-law doesn't know.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Wow.
- 4:09Speaker 5: She still doesn't know.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Oh, my God. I guess don't tell her because everything's
- 4:14Speaker 3: been fine.
- 4:14Speaker 1: 50 years.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I wouldn't want to know at that point.
- 4:17Speaker 5: My husband was like, I didn't want to know this.
- 4:20Speaker 1: No, he's got to carry it.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Right.
- 4:22Speaker 2: And then when she finds out, then she'll be like,
- 4:25Speaker 2: the last 50 years was a lie. A lie. A lie.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Everything was true. All right. Thank you, Christina. Thanks for
- 4:32Speaker 2: calling in.
- 4:33Speaker 1: All right. I mean, if anybody ever wants to spill
- 4:34Speaker 1: a family secret on our show, our lines are wide
- 4:36Speaker 1: open for you always.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I want to play something for you guys. I want
- 4:40Speaker 2: you to guess what these two audio clips have in common. Okay?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Guess what they have in common. How are you doing, Lori?
- 4:47Speaker 2: I'm good, how are you? Lori Ryan from Austin, Texas.
- 4:49Speaker 2: That's right. A hairstylist in Austin, hey? That's right. Talk
- 4:51Speaker 2: about your family a little bit.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I have a wonderful husband, Joseph, at home, who is
- 4:55Speaker 1: watching our two beautiful children, Colby, who's seven, and Tylee,
- 4:58Speaker 1: who is one.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you guys like to do for fun?
- 5:01Speaker 1: We like to play all kinds of sports on our
- 5:02Speaker 1: three acres.
- 5:04Speaker 3: What's the biggest mistake you made at your wedding?
- 5:07Speaker 1: Honey, I love you, but said I do.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Not my mistake. I love my wife. I'm going to
- 5:14Speaker 2: get in trouble for that, aren't I? Yeah. What do
- 5:17Speaker 2: you think they have in common? Kyle, guess.
- 5:19Speaker 6: Their significant others were mad at them after being on
- 5:22Speaker 6: the shows.
- 5:23Speaker 2: No, that's a good guess, but no. Rich?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Could it be that the wife and the husband are
- 5:29Speaker 1: actually married? Or the contestants are married to each other?
- 5:33Speaker 2: No. What do you think?
- 5:34Speaker 4: I was kind of on the same tip as Kyle.
- 5:35Speaker 4: I thought that they were just talking about their significant others,
- 5:38Speaker 4: that they loved them.
- 5:39Speaker 2: The first clip. Is Lori Vallow. She was on Wheel
- 5:43Speaker 2: of Fortune 2004. In 2023, she was found guilty of
- 5:47Speaker 2: murdering her two children. She mentions them in this clip.
- 5:51Speaker 2: And Joseph was her third husband out of five. What?
- 5:55Speaker 2: The second clip is Timothy Belfnick. He was on Family
- 5:58Speaker 2: Feud in 2020, and he was convicted of murdering his
- 6:01Speaker 2: wife in 2023. And he jokingly regrets saying, I do.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Isn't that creepy? That's so creepy. Oh, there's a thing
- 6:09Speaker 2: on BuzzFeed about these people that are all on a
- 6:11Speaker 2: game show, and they've all murdered people.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Wasn't there like a serial killer on a game show?
- 6:16Speaker 4: They just came out with a movie starring Anna Kendrick.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Rodney Alcala. He was in the dating game in 1978.
- 6:23Speaker 2: The exact number of victims remains unknown. They think it's
- 6:26Speaker 2: around 130. That's so disturbing.
- 6:29Speaker 1: And she didn't go out with him again. I know, right?
- 6:31Speaker 1: She was like, yeah, this dude's creepy.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Then there was Donna Adelson. She was on Wheel of
- 6:35Speaker 2: Fortune in the 80s. She was sentenced to life in
- 6:37Speaker 2: prison for raging the murder of her former son-in-law. Paul Curry.
- 6:40Speaker 2: He was a two-time champion in Jeopardy in 1989. In 2014,
- 6:44Speaker 2: he was sentenced to life in prison for murdering his wife.
- 6:48Speaker 2: And Edward Wayne Edwards was on a game show called
- 6:51Speaker 2: To Tell the Truth in 1972. He killed five people.
- 6:54Speaker 2: A couple in 1977, another couple in 1980, his stepson
- 6:57Speaker 2: in 1996, and then he was arrested in 2009. Horrifying.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. This is horrifying.
- 7:02Speaker 5: That's insane.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Oh, man.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I'm crazy, man. I got to tell you those serial
- 7:07Speaker 2: killer things, man. Speaking of TV, I missed out on
- 7:11Speaker 2: a lot of TV this weekend over the holidays. My
- 7:14Speaker 2: wife watches tennis. She's a huge tennis fan. And we
- 7:18Speaker 2: were in San Diego over the weekend, and she dominated
- 7:20Speaker 2: the TV, so I couldn't really watch my shows. But
- 7:24Speaker 2: she is a huge tennis fan. Did you see the
- 7:26Speaker 2: clip of her favorite tennis player is Sabalinka?
- 7:30Speaker 3: Was that when he took his shirt off or something
- 7:32Speaker 3: like that?
- 7:32Speaker 2: No, Sabalinka is a woman, and she had to.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Have them stop the game because there was so much
- 7:37Speaker 3: weed in the audience.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Where is that clip? She addresses it?
- 7:47Speaker 2: Yeah. I smell weed? Yeah, yeah, yeah. She goes, can
- 7:49Speaker 2: you please stop that?
- 7:50Speaker 1: That is in New York, right? That's what New York
- 7:51Speaker 1: smells like during the day.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Yeah, here it is. And focusing on hitting the target.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I love smoking.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Weed, so would you mind doing this?
- 7:59Speaker 2: It's so strong.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I don't know if you could hear that at home,
- 8:02Speaker 2: but apparently there might be someone smoking a little marijuana.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I feel like there.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Was a lot of those moments during the U.S. Open. Like,
- 8:11Speaker 4: I saw Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka on, like, press
- 8:14Speaker 4: interviews talking about the influencers and etiquette when it comes
- 8:17Speaker 4: to tennis and how you have.
- 8:18Speaker 1: To be quiet.
- 8:19Speaker 4: And if you're going to be here, like, at least
- 8:20Speaker 4: know the rules of the game so you're not taking.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Us outside of it.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I was like, I saw.
- 8:24Speaker 1: That and I was like, dang.
- 8:25Speaker 2: The influencers are causing a big problem there.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Yeah, because they're, like, taking all their pictures and the
- 8:29Speaker 4: flash and they're like... They're like, there's no etiquette. So
- 8:32Speaker 4: they're basically like, we love that you're here. We love
- 8:34Speaker 4: that you're spreading awareness to the game, but at least
- 8:37Speaker 4: know what you're coming into.
- 8:38Speaker 6: How embarrassing though, if you're the one that caused that problem,
- 8:41Speaker 6: they call you out in that way. I was thinking, okay,
- 8:44Speaker 6: so I had to look it up, but there was,
- 8:45Speaker 6: there's a tennis player called named Carlos Alcariz.
- 8:48Speaker 2: He's the greatest player of all time.
- 8:50Speaker 3: He took his shirt off and then like, he was
- 8:52Speaker 3: off for so long. It caused like a frenzy.
- 8:53Speaker 6: Like people were like, And like the announcers, I guess,
- 8:57Speaker 6: were like talking about, oh, he's leaving his shirt off
- 9:00Speaker 6: for a long time.
- 9:01Speaker 3: I think he's liking the fact.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Alcarez is an amazing player. Again, I watched this now
- 9:05Speaker 2: because of my wife nonstop. And Alcarez, he just, Travis
- 9:08Speaker 2: Scott was there and he dropped the Travis Scott collab
- 9:11Speaker 2: with Alcarez. They're sick tennis shoes. I tried to buy them.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I tried to find them, and they only came out
- 9:15Speaker 2: on my birthday on September 4th, and they were only
- 9:18Speaker 2: at a store in New York. Oh, wow. They're the
- 9:20Speaker 2: coolest shoes I've ever seen. But anyway, Alcaraz is also
- 9:24Speaker 2: the guy, like, he's so gifted, and he works so hard.
- 9:27Speaker 2: So he won, and he's going to play a player.
- 9:30Speaker 2: He's playing somebody tomorrow in New York. He didn't even
- 9:33Speaker 2: know who he was playing. And they were interviewing him. Yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 2: are you excited? You might be playing Ben Shelton. He's like,
- 9:36Speaker 2: I am? I didn't know. He's not even like studying
- 9:40Speaker 2: the person that he's going to play because he's so good.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Yeah, just because he knows he's going to whip some butt.
- 9:44Speaker 2: And then there's two women players that were playing each other.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Both their dads are billionaires. So they called it like
- 9:50Speaker 2: the most expensive match in the history of tennis. Yeah,
- 9:52Speaker 2: I'm sure the train is nuts. Yeah, that was it
- 9:54Speaker 2: was crazy but anyway so i couldn't watch my shows
- 9:57Speaker 2: so i i was limited i only had limited tv
- 9:59Speaker 2: time because my wife's taking over the tennis uh the
- 10:02Speaker 2: tv with tennis but i was able to watch The
- 10:05Speaker 2: most recent episode of Lioness. Awesome. Are you guys on
- 10:08Speaker 2: that at all? Yes. It is freaking phenomenal and scary.
- 10:11Speaker 1: The first, I would say the first 60 seconds, they
- 10:15Speaker 1: just devastate all media in the first 60 seconds of
- 10:18Speaker 1: the show where they tell you everything that's going on.
- 10:21Speaker 1: And I think they should be worried about Russians coming
- 10:25Speaker 1: after them. That's what I was thinking.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I'm watching the show and I've heard somebody I know
- 10:30Speaker 2: is married to somebody that used to be high up.
- 10:32Speaker 2: And they say that show is completely 100 percent real.
- 10:36Speaker 2: And I don't get it because I feel like whoever
- 10:38Speaker 2: created the show and is the guy that I love,
- 10:40Speaker 2: this guy that the foreigners, the Russians and Iranians are
- 10:43Speaker 2: going to kill this guy.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I kind of heard that this weekend, too, from like
- 10:48Speaker 1: somebody who investigated her job was she was a CSI
- 10:52Speaker 1: murder investigator in Silicon Valley. So all these billionaires, tech
- 10:55Speaker 1: billionaires get murdered. And she was saying that the Russians
- 10:59Speaker 1: taken out people because, you know, like they can just
- 11:02Speaker 1: land on American soil and take out people. Happens a lot.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I feel like now we're going.
- 11:07Speaker 3: To get taken out because we're talking about this. It
- 11:09Speaker 3: feels dangerous.
- 11:10Speaker 2: We're going to play a minute to win it. We
- 11:11Speaker 2: need a contestant at 877-937-1047. I did start watching Chad Powers.
- 11:16Speaker 4: So good.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Is it good? Because I'm halfway through the first episode.
- 11:19Speaker 2: I'm like, am I getting into this?
- 11:20Speaker 3: I finished the whole thing.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I loved it. Oh, good.
- 11:22Speaker 4: There's so many moments where you just laugh out loud.
- 11:26Speaker 3: You can't help yourself.
- 11:27Speaker 2: By the way, Lioness is on Paramount +. Chad Powers
- 11:30Speaker 2: is on Hulu. Is there anything else that anyone's watching
- 11:32Speaker 2: that's good anymore?
- 11:32Speaker 1: Oh, that movie, Fuse. Did you see that on HBO Max?
- 11:35Speaker 2: No.
- 11:36Speaker 1: It's just a movie. It's like a bank heist movie
- 11:39Speaker 1: from start to finish.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Go, go, go, go, go. Isn't it?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Sam Worthington's the only name I recognize, but then there's
- 11:44Speaker 1: other people you see and you're like, oh yeah. But
- 11:46Speaker 1: it's like a bank heist bomb movie, and I think
- 11:50Speaker 1: it's a really good hour and a half watch.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Just go.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Moves a thousand miles an hour.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I'm stressed because right now is one of those moments
- 11:56Speaker 2: in my life where there's lots of shows to watch.
- 11:58Speaker 1: There's a lot. It's weird.
- 11:59Speaker 3: It's a lot to keep track of.
- 12:00Speaker 2: It's like all these shows come out and then there's
- 12:02Speaker 2: nothing for like two months, and then all these shows
- 12:04Speaker 2: come out. Pilar, good morning. You got a comment on
- 12:06Speaker 2: Rich dropping his earbuds in his own urine, yes?
- 12:11Speaker 5: Yes.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Hi.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I suggested to put them into silica because we had
- 12:18Speaker 1: our daughter's phone drop in the pool.
- 12:20Speaker 5: So one of the moms told.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Us to do that.
- 12:23Speaker 1: So it worked out pretty good. He put his new
- 12:26Speaker 1: pee buds in there.
- 12:29Speaker 2: You're saying that.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Like those little packets that come in your, like, shoes.
- 12:33Speaker 1: In the dry packet.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Oh, that soaks up the moisture.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I was like, you're saying that so that they still work.
- 12:39Speaker 2: I think he's worried about putting them in their ears
- 12:41Speaker 2: because it was in his pee.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Well, that is gross, yes.
- 12:43Speaker 2: That doesn't bother me. It's his own pee, so he
- 12:46Speaker 2: should be good. Yeah.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Those things are like a thousand bucks, right?
- 12:52Speaker 1: Well, now, mine are old. Mine are like 10 years old,
- 12:54Speaker 1: but I'm sure I paid around $ 700 for them back
- 12:57Speaker 1: in the day.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 12:59Speaker 5: Because I use them on stage, too.
- 13:01Speaker 6: My husband said to put them in the sun.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Put them in the sun. Put them where the sun
- 13:06Speaker 2: don't shine. Thanks, Pilar.
- 13:08Speaker 1: That'll be a fun report to fill out because they
- 13:09Speaker 1: have a lifetime warranty. If they don't work, I'll be like, well,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I dropped them in my own pee, and.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Now they don't work. Well, if they have a lifetime warranty,
- 13:16Speaker 2: then you could probably send them back. Yeah.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Well, I'm just curious to see if they work. Fortunately,
- 13:20Speaker 1: of course, I have a pair of backups.
- 13:21Speaker 2: All right, we're going to play a minute to win it.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Justin is our contestant. What's up, Justin? How we doing?
- 13:28Speaker 2: All right, man. You're going to be playing for $ 1, 000
- 13:30Speaker 2: of Pat Hickey's money. What are you doing right now?
- 13:32Speaker 2: Where are you? What part of town are you in?
- 13:35Speaker 4: We're like Peoria area.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Just dropping my kids off. All right. So can you
- 13:42Speaker 2: hear us okay? Yeah. Okay. Good luck.
- 13:47Speaker 6: Dante and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from Peoria

- 13:56Speaker 1: Lock it in. Get all 10 right, and you win $ 1, 000.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Here we go. Which rapper created the alter ego Slim Shady?
- 14:05Speaker 2: Marshall Mathers.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Okay, what's the rapper's name?
- 14:09Speaker 2: Eminem.
- 14:10Speaker 1: In chess, what term means the opposing king is trapped
- 14:13Speaker 1: with no legal escape?
- 14:16Speaker 2: Checkmate.
- 14:18Speaker 1: What soccer star holds the men's record for most international goals?
- 14:27Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh. Ronaldo.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Ronaldo.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Who wrote The Lord of the Rings?
- 14:38Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 14:49Speaker 2: J.J. J.J.
- 14:50Speaker 4: J.R.R.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Tolkien? Tolkien, I will take that, yes. What five-letter word
- 14:55Speaker 1: game gives players six tries to guess the daily word?
- 15:00Speaker 4: Oh, my God. Oh, Lord.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Looking for Wordle. Wordle. Did you guys think of Tolkien,
- 15:13Speaker 1: or did you have to look that up? Yeah, that
- 15:18Speaker 1: cost you a little bit. She was doing pretty good there.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I was out there. I was trying to think of
- 15:23Speaker 2: the director of the movie and I was wrong. Well,
- 15:28Speaker 2: thanks for playing, Justin. I appreciate you guys. I'm wondering
- 15:33Speaker 2: if I'm being... I feel like when we play this game,
- 15:36Speaker 2: the rules have to be very strict, right? Because it's $ 1, 000.
- 15:40Speaker 2: So if Justin is a contestant, But the person in
- 15:42Speaker 2: the background said Tolkien, and you gave him a buzz.
- 15:45Speaker 2: You gave him a ding. Like, I think that shouldn't... Oh,
- 15:47Speaker 2: until he says Tolkien. Until he says it. He has
- 15:49Speaker 2: to say it. Because he's the contestant. That's how I
- 15:51Speaker 2: look at it. This is a thousand bucks, man. We're
- 15:53Speaker 2: not screwing around. Speaking of prizes, we got tickets to Disneyland, like,
- 15:57Speaker 2: in 20 minutes. And we're going to do this every day. So, like,
- 16:00Speaker 2: hopefully yesterday was Labor Day. You were able to listen
- 16:02Speaker 2: because we gave out magic words all day. You only
- 16:04Speaker 2: got to know three of them. We're going to ask
- 16:06Speaker 2: you for three of them at the top of the
- 16:07Speaker 2: hour this morning. And we'll do it every single day.
- 16:09Speaker 2: So then today, again... We will start more magic words
- 16:13Speaker 2: and we'll give away more tickets tomorrow. It's freaking amazing.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I love when you do this Disney giveaway. Love it.
- 16:18Speaker 2: So 4th of July weekend, I was in San Diego
- 16:22Speaker 2: and I think I told you guys that I fell
- 16:24Speaker 2: in the ocean and lost my phone. Get this. Two
- 16:27Speaker 2: days ago, I'm in San Diego. I decided to jump
- 16:30Speaker 2: into the ocean. Lost my whoop. Oh, no.
- 16:33Speaker 3: The sea just wants all of your things.
- 16:37Speaker 2: My whoop falls off. You know what's funny is I
- 16:39Speaker 2: post a little video on my Instagram, on my stories,
- 16:41Speaker 2: and I got all these DMs. I thought the people
- 16:43Speaker 2: that listen or follow me on Instagram are so funny
- 16:45Speaker 2: because everyone in your comments is like, whoop, there it goes.
- 16:48Speaker 2: There's all these whoop, whoop, all these whoop jokes. But
- 16:51Speaker 2: so then I go on the whoop app, and I'm
- 16:55Speaker 2: talking to somebody on the whoop app, and I'm pretty
- 16:57Speaker 2: sure it's AI. And I'm like, hey, it fell in
- 17:00Speaker 2: the ocean, man. Like, what can you do? And they're like, sorry,
- 17:02Speaker 2: it's not under warranty for ocean stuff. And it should
- 17:04Speaker 2: be because the pan failed. Is it water resistant? It
- 17:08Speaker 2: should be water resistant. But I'm saying it's water gone.
- 17:11Speaker 2: The sea swallowed it. And I'm talking to this person
- 17:14Speaker 2: over and over for a while. And then I'm realizing,
- 17:17Speaker 2: is it AI? Is it not AI? And then they
- 17:19Speaker 2: email me. And she tells me her name is Irish.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Does that sound like an AI name? I don't know
- 17:25Speaker 2: how to break them to tell if they're AI or not,
- 17:28Speaker 2: you know, but going back and forth with emails, I'm like, okay,
- 17:30Speaker 2: so can I get a discount? Cause I've been such
- 17:33Speaker 2: a loyal fan. And then the way they respond is
- 17:35Speaker 2: either it's so professional that I think it's not real.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Like what, what, when you say, can I get a discount?
- 17:40Speaker 1: What does it say back?
- 17:42Speaker 2: We don't offer discounts, but we can give you 15%
- 17:44Speaker 2: off the store. If you buy something, it was just weird.
- 17:46Speaker 2: It was just so tech speak. So in the can, man,
- 17:50Speaker 2: By the way, we were talking about TV shows. Did
- 17:53Speaker 2: you see this? This is a bummer that streaming prices
- 17:57Speaker 2: are going up now again.
- 17:58Speaker 3: It's like there's two.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Stop.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Stop. Now we're going to have to start making choices.
- 18:03Speaker 6: Everyone went to streaming because it was just like a
- 18:05Speaker 6: cheaper option. And now it's not because you have to
- 18:07Speaker 6: have all the different streaming ones. So now it's just
- 18:09Speaker 6: as expensive or even more than just cable.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Apple TV launched at $ 4. 99 a month back in 2019.
- 18:13Speaker 2: It has tripled since then. Disney launched the same year
- 18:18Speaker 2: at $ 6. 99 without ads. Now it's $ 11. 99 with ads. Netflix
- 18:24Speaker 2: premium is up 125% since 2013. The cheapest out of
- 18:29Speaker 2: all of them is Paramount Plus, but they're up over 80%
- 18:32Speaker 2: over the last five years. So apparently it costs $ 151
- 18:37Speaker 2: a month to have all eight major streaming services without
- 18:41Speaker 2: ads or bundle commitments. Four years ago, it was $ 90. Lame.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I don't like that at all.
- 18:47Speaker 4: And what really is such a bummer too, it's like
- 18:49Speaker 4: you think that you're like getting a cheaper option if
- 18:51Speaker 4: you bundle them together.
- 18:53Speaker 3: But in reality, if you break it down, it's like
- 18:54Speaker 3: the same exact price.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:57Speaker 3: They're not tricking us. No, you're not pulling one over
- 19:00Speaker 3: on me.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Do you know, maybe at some point they should make
- 19:03Speaker 1: it free, but just have ads. I would be all
- 19:05Speaker 1: over that.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Yeah, bring that commercial.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Oh my God, here's a text.
- 19:09Speaker 3: I would watch commercials for that.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Might as well.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Let's talk about serial killers on a game show. Peyton
- 19:14Speaker 2: was on a game show. She's going to kill us all. Yeah.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Watch out.
- 19:18Speaker 4: No, I was thinking though, it does kind of make
- 19:20Speaker 4: you think like, I wonder if someone will pop up
- 19:22Speaker 4: in 20 years and there'll be a document. It won't
- 19:24Speaker 4: be me, but it might be someone.
- 19:27Speaker 3: What if it's the people that you guys battled against?
- 19:30Speaker 4: And they come from our family because we won? That
- 19:32Speaker 4: would be tea.
- 19:33Speaker 1: They must have a personality type, like a sociopath personality
- 19:35Speaker 1: type that just fits game shows.
- 19:37Speaker 2: They want fame.
- 19:40Speaker 1: They could get away with anything because they could go
- 19:41Speaker 1: on a game show and everybody thinks they're a great contestant.
- 19:43Speaker 4: Right.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I never saw Little Mermaid.
- 19:45Speaker 1: What?
- 19:46Speaker 2: I've never seen Little Mermaid. You've got to watch it.
- 19:47Speaker 2: It's so good. But it says here, Ariel is living
- 19:50Speaker 2: for you getting in the ocean.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Yes. Does she steal things from people? Oh, yeah.
- 19:54Speaker 3: She just loves human things.
- 19:55Speaker 4: She's got all the thinking mobs.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Dinglehopper.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
